Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's wrap this thing up. Winnie. Hello, everyone, welcome to
the After Show podcast. My name is Justin. When he's
sitting across from me, the show just ended, so this
is when the after show begins. Well, you never know
what you're gonna get. I'll turn your mic off because
no one wants to hear you yawn or sing by
the way they want.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
To speak and by the way. I've had people comment
they like my singing.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
No, I don't know who those people are, but I
don't want to guy, Okay, who is it? Your sister?
Speaker 3 (00:25):
No, my sister.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
My sisters don't listen to this. My sisters can't stand
listening to me on the radio. Oh, funny story, Can
I tell you a little story? Little story time?
Speaker 3 (00:35):
You brought up sister's transitional period.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
So my sister's dating a guy, and me and my
boyfriend and her and her boyfriend went out for dinner
a couple weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
So it's nice.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
So your sister gets to meet your boyfriend.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yes, nice, Yes, my sister.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Noted the sister that you don't really get along with
we're trying. Oh okay, so the people you do get
along with don't meet your boyfriend. But the one that
doesn't do okay right that town.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Anyways, So we go to dinner blah blah blah.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
My sister calls me the day she's like, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
So her and her boyfriend were at his parents house
and they were saying that they went to dinner dinner
with me and my boyfriend, and her boyfriend was telling
his mom what I do for work.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
And she's like, oh my god, your sister's Winnie. I
look her up. She follows me on Instagram.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
So my sister's boyfriend's mom is a fan of ours.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
The mom's love the mom's love us.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
They live in well, they're from Derry, New Hampshire, but
they just moved to Great Barrington.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Oh that's yeah, that's Great Barrington, a Great Hampshire, Vermont,
New Hampshire, Barrington, Barrington. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
It's not it's New Hampshire. She said. It's like a
good hour plus from your area.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Well, let's put it into Google maps. Great Barrington or Barrington.
I don't know. Oh, great Barrington, mass in New Hampshire.
There's a great, there's a great there's a Great Barrington.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Hampshire people.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
It's one hundred and twenty miles away.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
So from you, it's probably what no, no, no, the mass.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
One Barrington just fifty six miles. It's now hour and
twenty minutes, so it'd be about forty minutes from me. Yeah,
it's not that bad. Oh it's Stafford County. Yeah, yeah, okay,
well that's cool.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
What does she listen on the iHeart app? I kind
of have to ask, so they get us that far out?
Speaker 3 (02:13):
I don't know they don't, but Darry does.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, it's it's hit or miss. It depends. Sometimes it
cuts out to a Spanish station. Oh it's kind of weird. Okay,
like you'd be listening to to Kiss one away and
then all of a sudden like bad bunny. Oh come on, Bonnie,
Yeah that's what happens. Well, that's cool. Tell her, I said, hello,
I will yeah, uh yeah. Busy show today again. We
covered a lot of ground. I don't know how we
fit two so much into four hours.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Sometimes I feel like we don't like what do we like?
I'm like, what do we just do for four hours?
And I'm like, wow, we did a lot.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, it goes by quick.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
It definitely does perfect timing because jam McCabe is on.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Trial on stand today.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
What station is that?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
It's on Channel five, just watching it And what I
love about that?
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yeah, is that Oh there she is? Okay?
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Is that perfect timing?
Speaker 2 (03:00):
We have cam I mean, we have a cabin left
it on Thursdays so we can break down the whole
Jen McCabe, which is really she's I mean not to
make it like lighthearted, but she's the star of the
show when it comes to to the sand her and
Michael Proctor McCabe. People want to know what's going on
with her and with Michael Proctor. They're combat of people.
They've you know, outspoken.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
So I'm wondering it's on mute now, but I'm wondering
if she's going to be less combat of this time.
Last time, I'm going to say yes, I'm going to
say yes, she's got com coaching.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Oh yeah, she Yeah, she is definitely going to be Yeah,
not as clammed up as yesterday.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
No, she looks good today. It's fine. Yesterday it was
just it was just the Tanner the bronzer was kind
of a little bit much. But she looks fine today. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Yeah, but she does seem a little bit calmer this time.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
She definitely got some coaching.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Oh yeah, because they're like this whole thing, it's going
on for so long.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Three years.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Okay, what happens if she gets found guilty, she'll go
to jail, right and then and they'll do appeals and
all that. Right, they'll be major outrage if that happened.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Well, the thing is at maximum. It's manslaughter.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah, the sentence I think only carries what five years?
Five years?
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Okay, But the fact that she's on trial for murder
is crazy, Like, say.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
You think she did it. I'm not saying what either.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Side it would be a manslaughter.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
The factor they're trying to go from murder is crazy.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah. I don't. I do not believe that she murdered her.
I don't know what happened. If if anything, I would
say she did and doesn't remember. That's a possibility, yeah,
or she's being set up. I really don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
I will say yesterday, now, I think we've tried to
be very open minded, I guess since we've been covering
it for so long to see both sides of it
or whatever. But yesterday it had me thinking that they
went through John's phone like activity and he used face
the face you know, unlock feature. At like twelve thirty two,
(05:02):
and Karen was home at twelve thirty six, so there
would be no way that Karen would still be there.
So did she hit him and then he was trying
to FaceTime or like get unlock a phone to call
for help, or was he standing fully up and was
unlocking his phone to.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Go into the house.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
What do you think?
Speaker 2 (05:21):
I don't know. I'm leaving it up to everyone else
to decide. I mean, I'm at the point now we've
dug into this a lot. The more I dig, the
more I feel like everyone was drunk and no one
knows what happened.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
That's where I'm at. And I also feel like the
dog she did did not help her at all.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I don't think she should have done that.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
It made me like be like, oh girl, you do
not sound like you care at all that this man
lost his life, the guy that you loved. If my
boyfriend died that way, I would be hysterical. But at
the same time, like she was, like, I would never
call her on a crisis, like you know what I mean,
like the sixteen year olds to one, like being the
grown up here, like calling prout because you're like.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Come on, like we got to be an adult at
some point.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
So definitely a lot of drinking going on, a lot
of drinking.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
They were, and you know, more than anyone at that time.
I know you weren't a big drinker, but if you
were drinking until one or two in the morning, are
you aren't you still drunk at six? If you're drunk, yes, yeah, yeah,
they wake up drunk, so they're all still drunk. You know.
I'll stand by that that when you're like in your
fifties and you have college aged children, they should be
(06:30):
the ones drinking and you being at home worried about them,
not them being at home and you out drinking.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
I'm really happy that I don't drink and I never
got into drinking even even I'm happy that I'm not
a regular person and can drink. Yeah, you know, drinking
is fun, but is it really? You know, it costs money.
You know, you feel like shit, and the older that
you get, it's harder to drink because you feel like
shit for longer.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I will say, you know, I've never been a big drinker.
Like we're talking, what do I get drunk once a year? Like,
I really don't drink. I don't socially drink. I mean,
I'm your sober buddy half the time when we go out,
am I not?
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Yeah, And I feel like I think you and I well,
you being sober makes it easier for me to not
to be like, oh, I don't want to drink. Not
that I take into pair pressure anyways, but it's like
you me Jen like, we're not drinking. My boyfriend doesn't
really drink. So it's like been like, we'll get like
soda when we go out, and I'm just like, we.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Got to drink, eat food, right.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
We got drinks in the night at Masters.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
We each got one and I was like, wow, I
haven't had like a drink in like four or five months.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Well that's and that's normal, and that's fine. You know,
like Billy or Lisa, they have one drink, one maybe
two cosmos, not even enough to really get a buzz.
They do it just more to be social, right. You know,
I don't know what that is I have. As soon
as it enters me, I want more. That's the best
way to describe, or one of the ways to describe
addiction is I never really got to enjoy the high
or the drunkness, because as soon as I start feeling it.
(07:53):
I'm thinking about the next one. Oh you know what
I mean. It's like when you you know, say I
get some a drug, right, and I go home and
I get a bunch of it and I use some
and I use half. It's really happened. I use half,
and I say, okay, I'm gonna use half and the
other half one I'll put in my top draw for tomorrow. Okay.
So then I use it and now it's all gone.
(08:13):
And now I'm sitting there and I'm like, shit, well
I got that in the draw, but it's it's midnight,
I don't know. And then two am comms I'm thinking
about it, and then I'm like, you know what, it's tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
I pull what I love about being a casual like
edible user. I get that nice high, I get to
my munchies, I go to sleep, and then I don't
do an edible for another like month.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah, that's it's just normal.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
I have edible sitting in my house from like December.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
That could never be me. It would talk to me
every day, eat me, eat me. So yeah, tomorrow, Captain
Loptics will be on Steve d. Felippo will be on
Who's doing the news on Fox right now. Yeah, they're
having the big fortieth anniversary for Dobby.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
I I want to go to that. Billy's hosting it.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
You know it's gonna be a lot of celebrities then,
like who a lot of Boston celebrities. I don't know who,
but I mean Steve's friends with everybody I know.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Well Wick grows back.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah, that right, But I wouldn't be surprised if a
Wahlberg brother comes.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Well, you know, Fletcher azul is sold there.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
I know when Mark came, when I met him and
we met him, he went to the Davios I did.
I went, Yeah, I went to the Sneaker thing.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Actually, if you guys want to go, the food's really
great there and you have the you're gonna be in
a room with a bunch of like rich celebrities. I
think it takes on only two fifty. Yeah, Like if
a night out for a couple there would cost you
about the same, you might as well.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah, well you're gonna pay two to fifty. Okay, I'll
look at you money.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
I will be a guest of Billy costs okay to fifty.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
But you can go. Anybody can go for two fifty.
I think money goes to some charity too.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Sure, Yes, Steve's a great guy.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
So anyway, tomorrow nine and ten he'll chat about that,
and maybe he'll leak some of the celebrities that are
going to be there. That'd be great. Anyway, that's tomorrow
on the show, and we'll talk again tomorrow after the show. Goodbye,
