gusts of over fifty miles an hour. I'm just thinking, if you're like
me and you put all that fabulouspatio furniture out last week, you're don't
want to anchor that down a bitbecause go fly. I was actually just
proud of myself for covering it allup before the rain came. We always,
I feel like, especially early onin the spring, always just sort
of oh, we put out thepatio furniture, and then forget about it
when those first big torrential spring rainscome and just let all of our stuff

ojsa he was in fact diagnosed withprostate cancer that took quite a heavy toll
on his health over the past year. He didn't talk a whole ton about
this. He posted a video toTwitter back in May of last year where
he did tell fans that he wasundergoing chemo. I heard pop was pretty
good, you know, gummies andstuff was pretty good for the nausea,

and they said, yeah, yeah, it does work. I got to
be honest with you. I startedsmoking a little bit of a couple of
pluffs today and I've only had nanjatwice in my whole I'm over to COVID
to them, I mean, Imean, I'm sorry. The chemo.
I'm over there. I had COVIDand cancer at the same time. Yeah,
friends say, despite the brave face, the cancer was not at all

in remission and greatly impacted his healthand his physical states seriously deteriorated over the
past eleven months. So he'd beenin hospice care and the call was made
that he was probably transitioning to theother side. It's very interesting to learn
some of the people that were athis bedside when he passed. It includes

all of his living kids, eventhe two he had with Nicole Brown Simpson.
Everyone who came to visit oj athis home had to sign NDA's for
privacy. It was about thirty tofifty people between friends and family and medical
personnel. No phones were allowed inthe room. No official word on when
his four kids arrived, but itdid include Dy and Justin as well as

his two older kids, Jason andArnell, that were there. But we
won't get many details, like Isaid, with those NDAs being signed.
You know, it's obviously a complicatedthing to think about. Ojy's life is

and I can't imagine being one ofthose kids. I mean, that's
an unbelievable situation to be in it. Well, they've never publicly talked about

to be acting alongside Denzel Washington.Girlfriend has had a year, of course,
one of Taylor's Swift's bff's. She'sdone a few tour stops with her.
They obviously collaborated on this Karma remixtogether, and she's now set to
appear in Spike's reinterpretation of the nineteensixty three thriller High and Low. There's

is looking to have a pretty bigyear. May I remind you she has

my friend just told me. Myfriend Josh a friend from Kyle, and
he just had his first his firstkid. He had a little boy about

four months ago, a little bitlater than a lot of my friends had
kids. He's thirty nine years old, but his wife is only twenty nine,
and he's been working his butt offever since college. The dude is
I mean, he's loaded and hejust had this kid four months ago.
He travels a ton for work,but his wife does not work. She
is a stay at home mom.They're planning on her being a stay at

home mom, and since the babyhas arrived, they have also had a
nanny with them every single day.I feel like I know what you're about
to say, and I'm going torail so hard on that you should because
this is because he told me this, thinking that I would be like,
I don't know, think it wasfunny or impressed, and as a dad,
I was just like, huh,he has yet to change a poopy

diaper. Yeah, and he alsois an only child, so never in
his life has he once changed apoopy diaper. And he goes, look,
man, he goes, I've changed, you know, a bunch of
peat, you know, but it'sand it's not like I'm even avoiding it.
He goes, it just didn't happenfor the first two and a half
months sort of organically, and thensince then it's just been something that I

haven't done because there's been somebody elsewho immediately is like I got it,
and I haven't said a word.And he goes, I think I might

yet, she's got a nanny hangingout with her right now. But I

have a friend of mine that's neverdone that because she does not like the

like fell down a hole. Myfriend has never done an oil change for
that reason. Really, her husbanddoes it because she doesn't like that wide
open piece of floor. You know, I actually am always afraid that I'm

said, buying anything from Walmart,never been in one. How do you

officer a few months back. Alittle cat started hanging out with some of
the officers working the late shift,and pretty soon they decided to try and

find out this owner. They reallyliked the cat, We're giving it some
food, decided they try and contactthe owner. Well, the owner had
actually asked police if they would finda permanent home for the cat, and
the officers were more than happy tooblige. Guess what they named the cats,

Cat's name is Donut. Oh,cat's name is Donut for these police officers.

And yesterday they made the announcement officialon National Pet Day, announcing that
Donuts was the newest member of theKentwood Police Department. As they have added
this feline officer to their team,they've microchipped Donuts and have been giving him
the spoiled life ever since. Butpretty cool that they've got their own force
cats over there in Kentwood. Now, well, those animal chip places have

turned thirteen the day after, maybea couple days after the Michigan statement's basketball

the riots. But I remember onmy birthdays when they did the huge parade
through East Lansing, and my mom, being the mom who she was,

out to like my favorite restaurant andEast Lansing. I will forever remember that

because it's not how I think aboutit. My twentieth birthday was my
last birthday with my mom, butit was so special because she took me

in my head immediately when I seeit because I was blown away by the

show. I knew all the music, I loved all the songs, but
it was just it was my momand I on this like sort of you
know, date where I was aman. I felt like at that point
I was twenty years old. Yeah, it was really, really, really
special. So that's the one thatalways pops up for me. That's always
lovely. I got a really wonderfulmessage from Sierra and she said, I
can remember the best birthday ever.I was a sophomore in high school and

my parents pulled me out of schoolfor what they told me was a doctor's
appointment. She said, I couldn'tbelieve it. It was actually a day
for my birthday. It turns outmy best friend's mom pulled her out to
We went out to Grand Havens,spent the day on the beach, we
got to eat on a big patio, and then at night we went and
saw one of my most favorite movies. And she said, I will forever

remember that because especially my parents nevertook me out of school for anything.

I am at thirty eight today andthat was by far my coolest birth Happy

are classmates. One of the lastdays there, my husband and I were
walking on the beach when we sawone of the boys from our group standing

next to a police officer and pouringout a bottle of vodka. Our son
told us that the kid, eighteenyears old, got a mip. We
didn't hear a word about it fromanyone on the trip, and our son
told us this week that the kid'sparents still don't know. I want I'd

not to say anything. Oh well, yeah, you don't want your parents
to be the narks. No,of course not. But at the same
time, like when we put thisup there, I was kind of surprised
because at first it looked like everyone'slike, don't say a word, don't
say a word. And that kindof surprised me just because you know,
I'm assuming an eighteen year old kid, but we're in the spring of the
year. I assume this is likea high school senior. I think,

I want to know if my kidsin high school, what do you think

this island chain that has like sixhundred islands between Hawaii and the Philippine Schmidty
and their twenty foot open skiff gotcaught up by some swells. Their motor
was damaged and they were able tomake their way over to an uninhabited island
called Pike Lot, but unfortunately theirradio had no battery was dead. So

one of their relatives came in onApril six, so already for a month,
these guys had been on this desertedisland Schmidty, and while they were
there they found a well. Theyhad been living off a coconut meat for

palm trees and palm frands on theWhite Sandy Beach right on this uninhabited thirty

one acre island. Well. Thatturned out to be the thing that would
save their lives because they put outa rescue mission with a boat and an
aircraft in the area. But thesehad to search over a seventy eight thousand
not a mile area, so reallyreally hard to find the aircraft. They
said, without that help sign there, they would have never stopped. They
would have never noticed it. Butthey were able to see that it was

there. They dropped down survival packsto the men. The next day they
got a radio to the guys,and then finally, just on Tuesday,
a US Coast Guard ship was ableto show up the Oliver Henry and get
THISHMANI this is the wildest part ofthe whole thing. As they are being
rescued, one of the men onthe Oliver Henry was named Eugene Halliss.

He happened to be third cousins withone of the guys who was stranded on
the island Roots episode fourth cousins withthe other two guys because they were also
