(00:02):
Wake up. It gets my daygoing. It makes me lamb of it.
Mac and Schmitty in the morning onStar one O five point seven good
more than Schmitty. Hey, goodmorning, Welcome into your Wednesday. It
looks like it's gonna be a wetone in some areas, especially North Grand
Rapids. Already see in some ofthose showers out there. That'll continue throughout

(00:25):
the day. Chance we might evensee a storm or two here. Smitty
as well. I cleared out bythree though. When you listen to Storm
teammate, they give us a hardtime, which I love. If you've
got some sports going on later today, you should stay dry. But I
love it. Oh my gosh.I was standing outside my slider door last
night the very kind of first smellof that. That's the green rain.

(00:45):
It was last night, you guys, and I lived for it. The
whole world turns like a greenish hueand then the rains just kick in My
window wide open. I live forthat smell. Yanky candle. Put that
as a movies music and all thegossip in one place. It's the celebrities
gup on Star one oh five pointseven. Well, Michigan has settled to

(01:08):
an agreement with the NC Double Aover problems within the football program. Michigan
football given three years of probation, fined and hit with recruiting limits by the
NC Double A, announced yesterday afternoon, after football coaches and staff had impermissible
contact with recruits and players under thencoach Jim Harbaugh while access was restricted during

(01:32):
the COVID nineteen pandemic. So thishas nothing to do with the signs stealing
scandal. This is separate, theysaid. It reached a negotiated resolution that
has been approved by the Committee onInfractions that involved five former and current coaches
and staffers. However, it didnot include allegations that Harbaugh failed to cooperate

(01:52):
with investigators. That is now aseparate case. Interesting. I didn't read
the part about how the Harbaugh portionof it being a second case now.
Interesting to see how that plays outwith these days. Patrick Mahomes, the
star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, another one you can add to the
list giving serious praise to Taylor Swiftgushing over Travis Kelsey's girlfriend during a recent

(02:15):
interview. The QB spoke during alengthy chat with Time magazine. Patrick is
one of their most influential people hadnothing but really kind things to say about
the singer and businesswoman. He said, of all the celebrities he's met,
Taylor is probably the most chill outof all of them, and he really
wanted to rave about her work ethic, saying he's also been really impressed by

(02:38):
the way she is trying to becomea football expert. Patrick says, even
when she's talking about football, whenshe's learning it, you can see her
business mind putting it together. It'salmost like she's trying to become a coach.
Why can't you try this, this, this, And she's asking all
the right questions. This is onevery brilliant woman. He also shut down

(02:59):
any conversation that it was Taylor's presencethat could have caused some of Kansas City's
issues in the twenty twenty three season, saying the team fully embraced the newfound
popularity he received from Swifties and theylove it. I mean, that's a
smart man right there. Three timesSuper Bowl MVP knows you don't talk trash
about your teammate and your wives, good friends. And finally, Oj Simpson

(03:21):
is not flush with the Cashew'd expectin his estate, nor will it be
enough to satisfy OJ's debt to RonGoldman's family. That's what his executor is
now claiming. So. Simpson's longtimeattorney, Malcolm Laverne was getting some backlash
after declaring the Goldmans would get quote, nothing from OJ's estate. He joined

(03:42):
TMC yesterday to open up about hisfinances, saying he passed away with less
than five figures in one Nevada bankaccount and overall far less than the millions
to his name that so many peopleare reporting. In fact, the only
real saving grace might be his memorabilia. Most of what I've done for my
sweeps of OJ's residence, where Ipresume most of his trust ad sets are

(04:04):
at, You're talking furnishings, TVs, the same stuff that's in your house.
I'm not a memorabilia guy, butI know who memorabilia guys are that
they're willing to pay top dollar evenfor you know, one man's garbage is
another man's treasure, right. Healso backtracked a bit and said, listen,
my statements about the Goldmen family notexactly what I meant. I'm happy

(04:24):
to meet with Fred Correspond's dad andpay whatever the law requires. Out of
OJ's estate. Yeah, because he'sstill technically on the hook for around thirty
million dollars. Right, Yeah, all of your celeb scoop. But West
Michigan Star dot Com Good Morning's here. It's back in Schmitty. And every
parent knows that what your kids goto school with definitely not a guarantee that
they're coming home with at Schmitty Daneof our existence. So what's the most

(04:47):
frustrating thing that you feel like yourkid has left at school for you?
Because my daughter, Charlie Schmidy, who is my responsible child, which isn't
really saying that much in all honesty, she's just more like her mom.
She is like me, But normallyI can count on her to keep track
of her stuff pretty good. However, she just got her birthday was just

(05:08):
last month, and in the mailfrom one of her aunts, sectually one
of her great aunts, she gota brand new springtime jacket, Schmidty,
and it was one that her momand I would not have bought her because
it's a Lulu Lemon and I hopethat I hope that her aunt got it
at like a super steep discount orwhatever. But anyway, Charlotte was over

(05:28):
the moon for this thing. Youknow. It was like, oh my
god, it's a Lulu. It'slike Stanley Cup of Wardrobe for aware.
It so much is and she wasso excited. She just got it on
Monday, and so yesterday was gonnabe her first time actually wearing it to
school. And she was jack, super nice day yesterday, right, beautiful.
She enjoyed her day at school.Lo and behold, we get off

(05:51):
the bus and we're wearing a Tshirt. Hey, how was your day?
Blah blah blah. A couple months, where's your jacket? I think
it's my bag. Okay, where'swhere's your jacket? Um? I must
have left it at school. Tenminutes later, you can tell that she

(06:11):
knows exactly what she did with thewith the jacket. She comes up to
me and she's like, Dad,I think I left my jacket on the
playground today. I'm like, you'reyour brand new jacket that you just brought
to school with you today for thevery first time. Yeah, I was
on my way to baseball practice withmy son. Five minutes after that,
Michelle's on her way to softball withCharlotte. Right after that, we can't

(06:32):
get over to the school this moment, we actually had to call grandma.
Grandma lives right next to the school. It was nice enough to go over
there. And the best part aboutthis was not only was Charlotte's jacket still
there, thingful still there, therewere four other girls hoodies and jackets all
around the basketball court because kids wereshedding clothes like crazy yesterday. So how

(06:54):
do you have this conversation? Becausehere's the deal, Like in that instance,
Lululemon co are expensive, and tome, this is like that moment
where I feel like, as aparent, you've got to have the conversations
like this. It's not just leavingyour cult. They're like this is irresponsible.
That was a lot of money, and I feel like you need to

(07:14):
understand that and take better care ofyour stuff. Here's the only part about
it is that it's just can't comefrom me because I got so much empathy
for these kids because this is me. I was doing the same stuff.
You know, those starter jackets thateverybody had that you pulled over top of
your hand. Yeah, that definitelygot left at school multiple times, and
I can remember getting yelled at forthat. I was I was pretty responsible.

(07:35):
But again, like those conversations werealways like, my parents probably would
not have gone to the school toget it. They would have said,
I guess I hope it's still theretomorrow. I'm really sorry. This is
a tough lesson learned. You needto be more responsible with things that you
love. Until she came and likeSomberly was like, I think I left
it on the basketball court. Weweren't. We just assumed it must be
in your locker, must be inyour classroom, must be some somewhere.

(07:56):
But we weren't gonna do that untilshe's like, I definitely left it outside
sitting un a basking man. Istly got a six year old that can't
remember a water bottle to save hislife. So if you need water bottles,
we've probably got about seventy of themat this point because he just keeps
leaving them at school. And Iasked the question on Facebook, and I
don't know where you guys go toschool, but he got some weird stuff.
I saw Betsy saying her son losta passport a school. Rita said

(08:18):
she lost a bathing suit, wentto the lost and found in four found
three more of her daughter's bathing suits. Schmidty Honestly, though, this is
the one that I feel like sumsup all children that we have at this
point in our lives. Stephanie, one shoe was shoe. I came to
pick up my son after school. He got in the car with one shoe
on. When I asked him wherethe other shoe went, he said he

(08:39):
didn't know. Sometimes does that geta good feelings time on a five points
seven perking yup as we start thisday. It's feeling good right now.
Mact Schmitty with you, and youknow, love to see how our West
Michigan community always steps up for veterans. He had another great example of it
right here as yesterday, folks fromSpartan Nash as well as the nonprofit Home

(09:03):
Repair Services, we're actually building abrand new ramp deck for a veteran here
in West Michigan, Schmitty. Andwhat's cool about this is that the reason
they were able to do it isbecause of all of those plastic bags that
you get at the grocery store. What do you do with yours in your
house? SCHMITTI we got the bigbag full of bags. You got the
big bag full of bags? Yeah, exactly, I got the big bag

(09:24):
They are the liners for my bathroomtrashes and then they're used to pick up
dog doodoo. That's basically what Ido. But instead Spartan Nash has been
collecting them from people because they arehard to recycle sometimes if you're not using
them for those things, So they'vebeen taking them in and that initiative started
back in twenty twenty two. Wellnow it's paying off in the form of
five brand new ramps for veterans inNie Schmitti and those decks are made out

(09:48):
of the plastic bags. They givethose to the company Treks, who turns
them into that composite plastic and thenthey use that to go ahead and build
these ramps. Just a cool ideafor recycling and for helping some our local
veterans, as Courtney Van Gilder fromSpartan Nash told Wood TV, So we're
so excited to be able to giveback to a local veteran in need by

(10:09):
providing a ramp where they can bemore accessible, they can get in and
out of their home, especially asthe weather is getting nicer. Yep.
So they just completed one of thoseramps yesterday. They've got four more to
do, but shout out for agreat idea for a Greek cause. This
senior citizen in Detroit has never beenmore thankful for Detroit's finest literally rescuing her.

(10:30):
Her name is Denise Willingham, andshe suffers from multiple sclerosis, so
having to use a walker is howshe gets around. But unfortunately, a
gust of wind nearly ended at all. So Willingham was on her way to
write AID on Woodward Avenue in Detroit'sMidtown. Her godson had just dropped her
off as she was heading inside. She explains to ABC seven that's when the

(10:52):
wind happened. Win for first ofWin. It was like a circle.
It circled around me, and itseparated me from my walker. I was
about to fall. They came fromout of nowhere. I didn't even see
them. They came from out ofnowhere, and they rescued me. Four
Detroit police officers, who thankfully werein the right place at the right time,

(11:15):
walking out of the right aid whenthey saw that she was seriously struggling
and jumped into action. Willingham wantedto make sure that their efforts were recognized
and that she gave them a hugethank you, because it just doesn't happen
often enough for our finest Johnny onthe spot, it's like guardian angels.

(11:35):
They're my guardian angels. You guysdon't get nearly the recognition, positive recognition
that you deserve. We appreciate youvery much. Stand up and tell them
I'm from Detroit. Yeah. Oneof the officers saying, it's part of
our duty, part of our job. But guess what this isn't They paid
for all the stuff that Willingham neededin the right aid, so talk about

(11:56):
above and beyond. It was areally cool moment on camera. I'll put
it up at West Michigan Star dotcom. She's quite the storyteller too.
Really good, all right, feelinggood comes at you twice today. I
always here to lift your spirits andtell you about something mossup going on out
in our world. And we'll doit again for you this morning, coming
up at Nine's funny here on Starone o five point seven movies, music
and all the gossip in one place. It's the celebrities goop on Star one

(12:20):
oh five point seven. Well, the Swifties are prepared and I don't have
to tell you that Taylor's new album, The Tortured Poets Department drops this Friday,
but she's been also dropping these littleeaster eggs as one does. Swifties
out in full force yesterday to catcha temporary art installation that popped up at

(12:41):
the Grove in LA that gave somemore insight into this new album. The
lines were massive, some fans liningup as early as five am, that
is, if they didn't camp outall night to get a glimpse of this
makeshift library. Remember I had mentionedyesterday she was teasing a bit of a
library collaboration. This was cool. She had a bunch of kind of easter

(13:03):
egg treasure hunts within this thing anddropped some more lyrics. We got yet
another one as part of the typewriterinstallation. It looks really really cool.
It simply said, even statues crumbleif they're made to wait. This is

(13:24):
also part I'm certain of all thosebillboards that have been surprisingly popping up in
big cities like Chicago before that Fridayrelease. You know, didn't I just
say yesterday, I'm like, whyare we not drowning in Taylor swift promotion
already? Because this past the drowning, I think she's just slowly I was
gonna say, can we appreciate thegenius of marketing that is this what other

(13:46):
artist is putting up random art displays? Honey, we've been appreciating the business
of this woman for yearble all right. Katie Perry says she would love nothing
more than Jelly Roll to replace heron American Idol, Remember the singer plans
to leave after this season. Talkingto E News, she said she's all

(14:07):
in for the rapper and country starto take her spot, saying he made
a really lasting impression on her duringhis guest appearance on the show earlier this
month, telling E I gotta sayjelly Roll was crazy when he came on
the show, but he really convincedme with all his industry knowledge. She
said she's looking for a truth tellerto take her spot, someone who doesn't

(14:28):
get tangled up in online comments, explaining being a female with an opinion and
being the boss sometimes came with theB word label, so her successor needs
a strong sense of self, whichshe believes jelly Roll has and apparently a
lot of fans are agreeing. There'salready a bit of a petition that started

(14:48):
saying, hey, he should definitelyjoin Lucrian and Lionel Ritchie next season.
I think it'd make for a greatjudge. That'd being said American idol in
my opinion, to set me todo in the twilight of your career that
gust star. Not even that thisscheduling Lake, He's got so many I'm
sure he's working on new album,he's got collaborations, he's been doing different
tour stops. It would be reallychallenging, I think, to film a

(15:09):
TV show and the peak of allthat. Finally, Caitlin Clark continues to
break records. The basketball Superstar, skyrocketing to the top of merchandise charts,
of course, selected as the numberone overall pick in the twenty twenty four
WNBA draft, going to the IndianaFever. But get this, Right after

(15:30):
Clark's big moment, Fanatics, whois the official online retailer for the WNBA,
started offering pre orders for her numbertwenty two indie jersey, selling out
in minutes. Get this, Fanaticssays Clark's WNBA jersey is the top selling
draft pick across all sports in thecompany's history. You know, I would

(15:54):
imagine, for better or for worse, that that jersey is also going to
be become the most bought jersey inw NBA history by the end of the
first year. Yeah, all ofyour celeb scoop at West Michigan Star dot
com seven to five point seven,Good morning to you. It's back in,
Schmidty. And you mentioned backing intothings, Schmidty. Is this a
live thing a stationary object? Ididn't like kill anyone if that's what you're

(16:18):
asking, and it's something I don'tever do. What is something you've run
over? So weather's been gorgeous, which means my husband has been outside every
day with his charcoal grill. Andwe live our new places in a cul
de sac, so we've been hangingout more in the front yard rather than
the back because everybody will be outside. Our kids are playing with a bunch
of kids down the street. Sohe has his charcoal grill, which is

(16:41):
on wheels like transportable, sitting inthe driveway. And I left the other
night to run an errand and Ididn't look. I didn't even think to
look. I got in my car. It was in a perfect blind spot.
I reverse, bam, I smashover this, I knock it over,

(17:02):
ashes everywhere. He had just finishedup like grilling the chicken for dinner.
And the sound, the sound wasthunderous. I mean, this thing
is huge. It's like a hugecharcoal grill. And I know immediately what
I hit. And of course whywouldn't every single neighbor be outside to watch
me run this thing over? SoI go back into drive, pulling the

(17:23):
garage to get out, like oneof the legs has broken off. The
lid definitely looks oblong, not circle. And then I hear him running through
the house like throws that door open. He's like, oh no, I
was gonna say, why was itbehind the car? This is his third
child. He's like, yeah,I just finished up. I said,

(17:45):
you can't put it behind the car. And then in that moment, I
know I've talked about it on theshow before. I just immediately revert back
to being a kid, because Iwas the worst at leaving my bikes behind
my parents' cars. I lost fourbikes in like a summer and a half,

(18:08):
to the point where like after myfourth bike, I can remember my
dad specifically like pulling me out ofbed because like eleven o'clock at night,
right his moving cars is getting inthe crush. Yeah, and he said,
this is it you will buy yournext bike. And my entire savings
account was drained by the time Iwas like eight, because I kept leaving
stuff behind the car. And I'msitting here going, oh my gosh,

(18:29):
it has come back to haunt me. I think there's like a little baby
dent in my car. I hitthis thing like I wasn't going that fast.
I was backing out of the garage, and so now I've got this
like duct tape plan because I waslike, I could totally fix this,
babe. I didn't hit it thathard, and I'm putting the lid on
and it mostly covers the whole thing. But I'm sitting there going, man,
as a parent, I cannot imaginethe things you've broken of yours because

(18:55):
you've driven over. Whether it's yourpartner stuff, your kids stuff, I
can't tell you close. I've gottento absolutely destroying scooters. We scooters get
left everywhere. Scooters big time duebecause they're and they're like so tiny,
like it's so lace, so anyyou can't see that at all. That's
a good one. I have runover one of my kids tablets before that
was on. They put it onthe bumper of my vehicle. And so

(19:17):
when I started pulling out, itfell over, and then I ran over
that one that was the most expensiveone. Uh. The one that gets
me though, is my kids alwaysleave balls out, you know, out
there playing basketball and playing football, and they'll leave balls in the driveway.
You want a heart attack, shmidty, a full on basketball explosion when
you're on your way to work atfive o'clock in the morning, we'll just
send you through your roof of yourcar, like yeah, it is so

(19:38):
freaking The best part of this was, of course, I told you all
back a few months ago when myhusband sucked my son's sled into our snowblower
and broke that snowblower, didn't Mysix year old comes outside, takes the
look at the messed up grill scatteredin pieces across the driveway and goes,

(19:59):
that's okay, mom, happens toall of us. Brave kid man,
braved. You know what, ButI hope I don't shove that chicken leg
right down your throat. Buddy. It's back and smiddi And you know we
already heard. While you're a terriblewife today running over your husband's prize possession,
his grill, let's find out whyyou're a bad parent too. See

(20:22):
I'm going to disagree because I thinkanyone listening right now, but this specific
parent confession is going to applaud mebecause there's no way you have existed anywhere
on the internet in the last threedays and have not heard about the new
episode of Bluey. I mean everywhere. So this just came out three days

(20:44):
ago. It's called The Sign, and it's an extended episode. This is
a twenty eight minute long episode thateverything I'm seeing on TikTok, Instagram,
Facebook will have you an absolute emotionalshred. I have been lying to my
kids and telling them the internet isbroken so I can watch it by myself.

(21:08):
Because you want your your you wantthe entertainment value, or you just
don't want them to see you crying. I oh no, there's absolutely no
shame in my game, sobbing itBlueing. I have cried multiple times in
front of them. I don't wantthem to like ruin it for me.
I want to get a glass ofwine. I want it to be at
night after they go to bed,so that I can sit down and fully

(21:30):
immerse myself in how incredible this Blueyepisode is. And I will one hundred
percent guarantee. There are a lotof you listening right now that are going
yep, yep, I'm doing thesame exact thing. We have not watched
this episode yet, and they've tried, They've like gotten onto blue. I'm
like, yeah, sure, wecan watch season one. You can watch
a couple episodes of season two,but no, I'm sun Going doesn't work

(21:51):
because I do. I want towatch it by myself so I can like
absolutely understand what's happening, have mygood oh cry, and then the next
day I will invite them to joinme. But I don't want to watch
the first Fluey sign with my guests. Sunjan mature parents, honestly, though,
schmindy, How angry are either ofyour kids gonna be? Though?
When it's all a sudden ten o'clockat night and in their beds, they're

(22:14):
in their rooms and all of asudden they just hear, oh no,
no, I got bluetooth headphones.I'm not new at this. Movies,
music, and all the gossip inone place. It's the celebritiescoop on Star
one oh five point seven Woo.A bit of words from Katie Couric to

(22:36):
former Today's Show co host Brian Gumbel, who she says had a pretty sexist
attitude. The famous Newswoman stopped byBill Maher's Club Random podcast, in which
she talked about her quote prickly relationshipher and Bryant had during their time on
Today, hinting especially during her maternityleave. It got a little weird maternity

(22:57):
leave and he was given me endlessfor taking like a month or two off
I was having my first baby.Yeah, I could see that, and
he was like, why don't youjust like drop drop it in the field
and come back to work right awayor something. I mean, but hen
something he was kidding. No,he was kidding, but was emblematic of

(23:18):
sort of an incredibly sexist attitude.Yeah, Katie said her and Brian were
never really closed, referring to himas a real guys guy, even though
she still applauded his absolutely phenomenal broadcastingskills. That kind of surprises me.
It just I always thought of BrianGumble is the most vanilla like, sort

(23:40):
of always happy, always looking atthe bright side guy. Apparently, let's
try to take time off to havea baby. I guess Taylor Swift is
teasing a timetable for her highly anticipatednew album, The Tortured Poets Department,
of course, out this Friday. So sorry, Swifties. I would have
had the hour by hour countdown, but I didn't do my math in time.
She just dropped a brand new teaseron her Instagram last night. It's

(24:03):
really cool. It has her likefollowing through this office. You see a
clock at first that's set at twopm. Then you follow this camera work
into an office. You see atypewriter clicking out a bunch of different messaging,
and that's when she says. TheTortured Poet's Department release Day four nineteen

(24:25):
with an eight pm Eastern music video. Why do I feel like I just
went through an escape room, Schmidty, I mean the puzzle. It's very
much like that, very much likethat. I do have that up on
our insta at West Michigan Star Andspeaking of Taylor, her boyfriend's got a
new job on the resume, itis official. I said it had been
rumored he was in talks, butTravis Kelcey is about to be a game

(24:45):
show host The NFL Superstarred confirming heis going to be the host of Are
You Smarter Than a celebrity. PrimeVideo made the announcement yesterday. This is
going to be a spinoff of AreYou Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? Trevisa.
I grew up loving game shows, and I'm excited to be following in
the footsteps of so many TV iconsby hosting my very first one. The

(25:08):
original show is a great success,so to be bringing a new format with
everyone's favorite celebrities to the screen willdefinitely be entertaining. I'm just happy to
be on the hosting side of theequation here and excited to see how these
famous faces keep up. So Primesays, the premise is real simple.
A contestant can actually use celebrities helpto answer elementary school level questions and could

(25:30):
win a top prize of one hundredgrand I mean, it'll be interesting to
see. I guess I just findit weird. This dude's still playing football
right like this is still absolutely superBowl winning one of the greatest tight ends
to ever play the game. Andnow simultaneously I'm gonna take a little side
hustle as a game show host.Travis, if you were listening right now,
I'm just saying a few cameos fromyour brother would be so awesome.

(25:52):
All of your celeb scoop at WestMichigan Star dot Com. I'fe explaining with

that's why it's the right answer.Congratulations, guys. Yes, it was

(27:45):

Well, let's bring a little positivityto this morning. It's starting a fine
point seven Mac Andchmidee with feeling goodright now. You know it starts out
bittersweet because his parents. It's theunimaginable losing your child, and that's exactly

(28:30):
what happened for the Shilling family.Of course. Justin Shilling one of those
victims of the Oxford High School shootingjust a few years ago. But his
family have decided to keep his memoryalive in a beautiful way and fundraise towards
a very big goal. Justin's dad, Craig, has decided to throw a

(28:52):
bowling tournament in order to raise moneythrough their Chooch Foundation. It's a foundation
the family has started, Choots obviouslybeing Justin's nickname, and bowling was something
Justin absolutely loved. In fact,he was bowling a two fifty seven by
middle school and it's something his familyloves to remember him for as well.
Talking with ABC seven, Craig admitsit's really hard to figure out what's going

(29:14):
to fill that hole. Nobody reallyknows what to do when you have like
a whole like this in your life, and you know, you fill it
with things that keep your close soyour loved ones, and that's what we've
tried to do, and that's whatthey're planning to do. See, one
of the other members of Justin's bowlingteam just happened to be that high school
shooter who, as we have nowlearned, was dealing with very severe mental
health issues. So Justin's family wantsto be a change for that. The

(29:40):
Chooch Foundation, standing for caring helpingothers often creates hope, is hoping to
dedicate a mental health center in honorof Justin. Through funds raised with things
like bowling tournaments. Craig says hisultimate goal is the Chooch Center for Mindfulness,
a mental health community center that isfully staffed with mental health professionals and

(30:02):
therapists who are available for anyone atany time. He knows it's a really
ambitious goal, and while he's soundthat Justin is not here to see it,
he thinks this is the legacy hewould have loved. I think he
would have been mind blowing. It'sone of the things that really hurts me
and I mostay is that knowing thatyou know, he's not there to be
able to have that effect anymore, you know. But I'm happy to slide

(30:26):
in there for whatever time I canto help establish a legacy and his name.
It's pretty incredible. The bowling tournamentwill obviously go down on the east
side of the state, but there'slots of different ways to donate to the
hutch Center for Mindfulness that will hopefullycome to Fruition very very soon. I'll
put some links up for you onour Instagram at West Michigan Star. Pretty
beautiful to use his son's passions togo out there and help others like that,

(30:49):
Schmedde. We got to celebrate someWest Michigan national champions. Got to
give a shout out to the Panthersof Davenport University, who, for the
third consecutive years are national champions inall girl cheerleading. Yes, what a
national championship at Daytona Beach over theweekend. But this year it's extra cool,
Schmitty, because this was the veryfirst year that they also introduced a

(31:14):
co ed cheer team at dapoint DavenportUniversity and what do you know, in
its very first year ever also winningthe national championship. So double national championships
for Davenport University, the all girlsteam and the brand new co ed team
taking home those championships again. Thirdyear in a row for the girls doing
that really cool and you know what, just a huge feat. That took

(31:38):
a ton of hard work and meansa whole lot to everybody on the team.
Coach head coach Cilia Kayo Jima wastalking to thirteen on your side and
just how difficult this is to doand how proud she is to be a
champion. It takes a lot, especially in the sport. It's not just
glittering palms, y'all. Dream becominga reality is a whole different feeling for
us to be walking away with theback to back to back title for all

(32:00):
girl but our first ever small coed Division two national championship, it just
