(00:04):
Wake up. It gets my daygoing and makes me laugh of it.
Mac and Schmitty in the Morning onStar one oh five point seven. Oh,
good Morningsmitty, Hey, good morning, welcome into it. What do
we have here today? Well itis usually weakendy, but it's also my
kid's final day of school. Ohthat's what I'm going to be celebrating more

(00:24):
of today. Like, I'm justvery excited about that. Movies, music,
and all the gossip in one place. It's the celebritiescoop on Star one
oh five point seven. Well, the Internet's got some feels about this.
Fifty cents the rapper and Representative LaurenceBobert hanging out of the White House during
the rappers visit to Capitol Hill, and I witness to say there were some

(00:47):
very flirty vibes going on. Sofifty in the Colorado Republican were in front
of cameras yesterday and they looked very, very happy, snugly. There was
a little bit of flirting. Ifyou think fans are right about this online,
even the representative tweeting out, I'dstill love you if you flipped burgers
at Burger King at fifty cent.I used to do that myself, thanks

(01:11):
for the photo, great to meetyou, and then fifty tweeting out on
his account Lauren Bobert, Colorado Republicanmaking the White House look good with one
of those side flirty eye emojis.Didn't have this I'm a Bengo card,
you guys, I really didn't,but yeah. Brad Pitt is now facing

(01:32):
another one of his kids doing everythingthey can to distance themselves. Vivian Jolie
Pitt appears to be following in herolder sister's footsteps by dropping her dad's last
name professionally on a new Broadway playbill. The fifteen year old daughter of Brad
and Angelina Jolie is working as aproducer's assistant for the Broadway show The Outsiders,

(01:56):
so she does get credit in theplaybill, except it is written as
Vivian Jolie nothing more. A sourceclaims that this is not due to a
lack of space on the playbill.Instead, Vivian made it very clear she
wanted the pit left off her nameentirely, another way to send Dad a

(02:17):
message. It's very interesting to pointout Angelina also serves as a producer on
this musical as well, so notsure if that has a bit of something
to do here. But remember itwas just a couple of weeks ago.
I told you old her sister Shilohlegally dropped pitt from her last name.
I am. I don't want towant to know what happened on that plane,

(02:38):
Schmidty, but I want to knowwhat happened on the head play because
Brad is still really he's stunned byall of this, Like he continues to
say, I don't know what ishappening here, and if it's a he
said, she said thing, hesays Angelina is poisoning them against him because
he wants nothing more than a wonderfulrelationship with these kids who are refusing to

(02:58):
even speak with him. And thisthis has got to be such a blow
as a parent, you know. Finally, Britney's ex man Sam as Gary
has just gotten his first official TVjob. He is going to join the
season three cast of Peacock's popular seriesThe Traders. The big lineup was dropped

(03:20):
yesterday. Big host Alan Cummings hadlots of names including Vander pump Rule star
Tom Sandabal, which will be joiningit, but a lot of bands were
very interested to see Sam. Thiswill be his first official full time TV
job. Honestly, I thought hewas going to go to reality TV route.
I half expected him. This isreality TV is yeah, yeah.

(03:46):
I haven't gotten a chance to watchit. I've seen kind of bits and
pieces as I've been on Peacock, but I would consider this reality TV.
Other big names include Zaca Front's brotherDylan that will be a part of this
season, Big Brothers, Britney Haynes, a couple Survivor stars, but also
Wells Adams from Bachelor, so it'llbe an interesting lineup. I've got the

(04:08):
announcement for you with your scoop atWest Michigan Star dot Com sometime does that
get a good feeling? Starting onfive point seven beautiful morning, let's get
you feeling good right now. It'sMack at Schmidty And this is pretty interesting.
You know. Obviously a lot ofpeople concerned with their student loan debt
rightfully so, and looking at differentways to pay it off is great.

(04:29):
Well. Jake Heisenberg, he isa TikTok creator and twell. He did
the maths. He explained in thevideo of exactly what he needed the TikTok
community to do for him to payoff his student loan debt. So I've
done the math, and apparently inorder for TikTok to pay off my student
loans and one fell swoop, Iwould need two hundred and forty seven million
people to watch this video for fiveseconds, which you've just done, so

(04:50):
thank you. I appreciate it.Just two hundred and forty seven million people,
Schmidty. That's all he really neededthere, But he's well on his
way. This this video struck achord with so many people that it has
exploded and been viewed over twenty sixmillion times at this point, received more
than five million likes. It's actuallyalready helped him to pay off four thousand

(05:12):
dollars of his student loan debt.So far, He's not quite two hundred
and forty seven million, as you'dimagine. However, because he passed a
threshold, he now is an officialcreator on TikTok and can monetize all of
his TikTok videos. So the verynext one, the follow up thanking people,
also going towards paying off his studentloan debt. The guy has got
a hustle going on right now, shmitdi, and it is working for So

(05:33):
this is a TikTok trend. Idid this video. Thousands and thousands of
other TikTokers are doing it as well. Well, I don't blame yet,
it's we're all like, hey, help us out. We don't have side
hustles and we need you to payus. Pretty great idea, all right.
So it is the eightieth anniversary todayof D Day, and we're remembering
those heroes and remembering that we don'thave many of them left, so to

(05:56):
preserve their stories and never forget thishistory. There have been some incredible journeys
taken back to different war zones thatwere part of World War Two. That
includes the beaches in Normandy. Unbelievablemoment that World War II veteran Felix Mauricio,
who is now ninety nine years old, went back to Normandy and Omaha

(06:17):
Beach for the first time since beinga part of that D Day invasion at
the age of nineteen. Good MorningAmerica went along with him. An extremely
emotional moment. He really had tearsin my eyes. I am not ashamed

(06:46):
to admit it. He was partof sixty six veterans that were flown to
France for celebrations and remembrances today. He had planned to go with his brother
Salvatore, who was also part ofthat D Day invasion and luckily survived ved.
Unfortunately Salvator passed away back in January, but his son Bill came along
and this moment was just gonna getyou. I'll about the twelve minutes.

(07:11):
There were my buddies that were killed, but I was fortunately, I say,
just thinking what he went through. No history book can tell you any
of that. What they live,it's unbelievable. And if you see the
video, which I'm going to postup, there's a moment that he has
actually walked to the waterline for thefirst time in eighty years. It's absolutely

(07:38):
incredible. We don't want to forgeta single one of these heroes. His
son said it best, like thehistory books cannot teach you what these men
and women went through eighty years today, D Day. I'll have that up
at West Michigan Star dot Com.Yeah, you're right, it's unimaginable.
Feeling good comes at you twice. They always want to point out incredible things
happen out there. We'll do itagain for you today nine to twenty right

(07:58):
here on star winar five points, other movies, music, and all the
gossip in one place. It's thecelebrities goop on Star one oh five point
seven. Man, you all haveleft Taylor Swift extremely unimpressed over wondering if
Lady Gaga is pregnant. I hadthis story yesterday after fans thought they noticed

(08:20):
a decent baby bump over the weekendwhen Gaga served as a bridesmaid in her
sister's wedding. Gaga put up avideo yesterday saying, no, I am
not pregnant. In fact, I'mjust crying at the gym because of what
you, Paul said. It waslast afternoon, yesterday afternoon, that Taylor
actually popped into the comments section onthat Gaga video said, can we all

(08:43):
agree that it's invasive and irresponsible tocomment on a woman's body? Gaga doesn't
know anyone an explanation, and neitherdoes any woman. Kissed lips EMOCHI honestly
tailor yes, yes, yes,Taylor whatever, she's just getting out in
front of what's about happened to her? I mean, she eats a few
too many tacos on tour. Schmiddy, she'll be getting those rumors too.

(09:03):
You want to tell me that swiftieswho super sleuth everything, aren't going to
be trying to hyper do that withher pregnancies. That let us eat,
let us live. We're not allout here being incubator's twenty four hours a
day. All right, Let's moveon to Jelly Roll. His felon past
has apparently come back to haunt him. He's telling fans it is keeping an

(09:24):
international tour off the table. JellyRoll actually sat down with bon Jovi in
a new piece for Interview magazine, where he's admitted he's having serious trouble booking
an international tour because of his rapsheet. He explained, it's funny America
has finally agreed to let me leaveand give me a passport, but some

(09:46):
other countries won't let me come becauseof my felonies. We are doing everything
we can to work on that.Despite this hurdle, Jelly Roll says he
is super optimistic the situation will definitelywork out. Remember, he's been very
open in about his past run inswith the law. He's been to jail
around forty times for drug related charges. He was arrested at sixteen for aggravated

(10:07):
robbery and turned it all around thanksto his faith he says he's not too
concerned. He will find a wayto make it to the fans because he
knows that, especially overseas, theyare ready to see some jelly roll.
I mean, I would have assumedthat with all of the rock stars and
celebrities out there who have committed crimesand we've seen their mugshots of thinking around

(10:31):
this somehow, isn't there somebody whocan fix this? Super duper hard?
It is exceptional, like, forinstance, if you have like a DUI
can't get to Canada. Yeah,I mean it is really really hard.
Finally, big news from The Voiceseason twenty seven, and we'll see a
big return. Guess who's coming backto Judge. Yeah, we're back.

(10:52):
We're coming back. I'm coming back. This is what I mean, Season
twenty seven. Yes, I'm comingback. I'm still excited. I cannot
wait. I'm well rested, I'mready to go. It's a little nervous.
I'm not nervous, but I'm soexcited and it's great and I can't
wait. It's gonna be awesome.Let's go team Adam is back. Feel
bad for other teams? Let's countYes, Adam Levigne is back for season

(11:16):
twenty seven of the Voice, andhe promises this season is going to be
quite different. He will be joiningJohn Legend and Michael Boublay who returned as
coaches, and first time are KelseyBallerini, who people are really really excited
about. That'll be interesting, youknow, Adam without Blake seems odd though,
right that bromance was so thick.Oh boy, I feel like NBC

(11:37):
you'll figure out some way to putBlake as a guest someone on it.
All of your celebt scoop at WestMichigan's start off up, Kevin, it's
Mick and SCHMIDI And for my kidsjust started yesterday. I've actually still got
the shaving cream on my shoes fromthe sneak attack after after school yesterday,
Schmitdi. But for your kids,so many kids around West Michigan, today
is the day. Well, soactually I get two days. Okay,

(11:58):
So yesterday was my daughter's last day. Today is my son's last day.
Gotch And I don't know if I'mgonna be able. I don't know if
I can do a second round ofthis because I had such an emotional reaction
to my daughter's final day yesterday. This is her first year in school.
She's in preschool two's and I thoughtto myself, another school year done.

(12:20):
Could you pinpoint one super memorable moment? Because there were so many things that
happened this year. I was reallyreally excited that my kids, for the
very first time, are going tobe going to school together. That's something
that won't be happening now again foranother three years, because she's going to
stay at the preschool she's out whileWill starts a new school next year.
But we're walking out yesterday and weget outside the front school doors and she

(12:46):
turns around. She's never done thisbefore. You know how often I talk
about my savage three year old.She turns around and she asks me for
a hug outside the school doors.So we're I've been down, and I
give her this hug and then she, oh, my gosh, I'm gonna
cry again. She pulls back andshe goes feel proud of me. I

(13:09):
get in my car, like youguys this. I started shooting the video
as soon as I got in mycar in the parking lot. I am,
I am a wreck, I amsobbing. I'm like, I didn't
expect that this stuff hits me sohard, like when people talk about you
know, it's in the blink ofan eye. School really shows you that,
like the before and after pictures fromthe first day to the last day,

(13:31):
and you're like, this is sohard. And I talked about this
in the Instagram that I posted. The hardest part of this job, this
job of being a parent, isif you're doing it right, they leave
you. They're supposed to go awayfrom you. You are supposed to create
these little people that like, asthey get older, no longer need you.

(13:54):
And I just was like, ohmy goodness, where did my like,
where did my little baby go?Where'd my little girl go? She
is now three, She's going tobe going into another round of preschool next
year. I had lake. Igot home. I must have looked hot
mess because my husband's like, whathappened? I go, we're great parents
and our kids are growing up.Luckily, that's what happened. I said,

(14:18):
I don't know if I can pickWill up today. I don't know
if I can do it. Ijust was so caught off guard that for
me with her is going to bemy most memorable moment from this entire school
year. I'm so proud of herand to hear her say she's proud of
herself. Yeah, you can't teachthat. That's the you know, that
comes from you. And oh boy, it was a drive home. I
will tell you that. You know, that's super sweet. And you know

(14:41):
it's funny because when your daughter sawyou cry and did she say anything?
Because that's what I always think.Whenever I get emotional in front of my
kids, they always think something iswrong. I'm like, it's not wrong,
Like, so you're mad. Itbreaks them out right because they're not
used to hearing their parents cry orsee them cry. I just it was
a really intense, intense moment.Again, like I said, it's just
so hard to know that your entirejob as a parent is to push him

(15:05):
out of the nest. You know, I'm out of there. You're doing
it right. Just cherish the moments, you know, and recognize it all
the time. You know, thatmade me feel a lot better. You
go from wiping their butts and thenthe next day they're calling your bra and
just you know, escaping from youinto a screen. It happens fast.
It happens fast. I wouldn't hateit if the butt wiping was done that.
I was like, well, Let'sbe a proud of herself. Let's

(15:26):
get the pot of training under control, babe, because otherwise you're not going
to preschool in the fall. Thiswill almost be the proudest moment I have
for you this year. One morestep, little girl. That's a oh.
I know, like I probably soundedvery emotional there, and I did
promise that I wasn't going to makeall of you cry because I do have
a funny bit when I asked onlineyour most memorable moment from this school year.

(15:48):
I would just like to give Abbya big thank you for writing when
I got a call from my son'sschool that when school got out for the
day, instead of using the door, he jumped out the window an abbey.
That's exactly, exactly, one hundredand ten percent what I needed this
morning. It's Comina five points,Kevin, It's Mac and Schmidde and it's

(16:11):
time to toss it back on thisThursday. What year was it for tickets
to a soldown show this weekend?Schmitting? Oh my gosh, Green Sky
Bluegrass at the Meyer Gardens. Isaw them last year. It is it
blew me away. I'd never listenedto their stuff before. Okay, and
they are phenomenal, like if youare a folk kind of a little bit
of country. I mean, it'sthe perfect summer music. It's gonna be

(16:33):
a great show and totally sold out. So this is your only chance to
win your tickets. That's right. You just got to tell us what year?

(17:44):
Just go kicks compteen sixty six.I think we're the only family in Mexico

I really not cut. I'm inlove with your body. Don't you want

(18:10):
to know where babies really come from? I mean, I love that movie.
But Alec Baldwin sounds a little creepywhen he says that. Right there,
Hi star? Who's this is?Aaron? Aaron? Where you calling

What year was it? Paul,It's got to be twenty seventeen.

Saron, And of course we'll doit again next week too. What year
was it Every Thursday here on scotStudies Music and all the gossip in one
place. It's the Celebritiescoop on Starone oh five point seven. Well,
Rumors had been swirling that something waswrong with Halsey, and the singer finally

(19:22):
coming out with her health struggles, confirming to fans she's been diagnosed with both
lupus and a rare T cell disorder. The good news she's on the mend
and hoping to be back on stagevery soon. The singer songwriter revealed the
shocking news to her millions of followersyesterday, just about twenty four hours after

(19:42):
posting a video to her Instagram announcingher new song The End and admitting she's
lucky to be alive. She gavesome kind of behind the scenes looks at
what she's been dealing with. Itold myself, I'm giving myself two more
years to be sick. In thirty, I have in my show on her.
Yeah, I'm a thirty I'm havinga rebirth and I'm not going to

(20:04):
be sick, and I'm going tolook super hot and have lots of energy,
and I'm just gonna get to redomy twenties and my thirties. It's
a crazy video to watch. Youcan see her like massaging her legs.
She spoke with fans about how muchpain she has been dealing with. She's
also shown clips of her masked upreceiving treatment, even one really emotional moment

(20:29):
she was kind of balling her eyesout. She thanked fans for support and
said that they are being managed forsymptoms and she isn't remission now. Despite
a rocky beginning, music's been agreat outlet for her. I mean,
that's a tough diagnosis right there.I know a few people who suffer from
lucas. It can affect you anywherein your body, but it's something that
doesn't go away. It's always anissue. If you watch the hit show

(20:51):
Outlander like I do. Sam Hugginssays he cannot wait to see Taylor Swift
in concert. In fact, mostof the cast is headed to her show
when she hits the island. We'regonna go see Taylor Swift play in Scotland,
and I think most of the costis going. She doesn't know this,
but when she comes to Scotland andshe sees me in the audience,

(21:12):
she's gonna forget all about Kim AndI'm told for a man and a ginger
wigs, how could she resist? You know, she's gonna shake him off
and U and Tam, Yeah it'sdead. I'm gonna be excited. How
could she resist a man in aginger wig? It's so good? And
speaking of Taylor, I'm waiting.Travis Kelcey will soon be joining Good Morning

(21:37):
America Live in a few minutes andhas apparently quite a bit to say.
How does the life you're living rightnow compare to the life you imagine?
Ga Thursday Morning? Living the dream? Baby? What's Travis Kelsey want you
to know? He's got a lotgoing on and Thursday He's only on the
Morning America. So as soon asthat airs, I'll put some clips up

(21:59):

married. He is not doing There'sno way. Finally, there's a big
night in La Last night, EllenDeGeneres made her return to stage after more
than two years after her popular daytimetalk show ended amidst all of that rumor
about a toxic work environment. Bignames came out, including Chris Jenner,

(22:23):
Chloe Kardashi and Katy Perry and OrlandoBloom. A lot of support as she
was at the Largo at the Coronet, people saying this new material Ellen is

(24:41):
Tickets coming your way at eight fifteenwith Battle of the Sexes here on stock.
Good morning to you. It's Macaand Schmeddi and springtime Schmeddy early summer.
I feel like it is the primetime of the year for solicitors.
I don't know how it is aroundyour neighborhood, but I get everybody.
I get the bug guys, Iget the loose guys. I get solar
energy. Yeah, my big onegotter covers everything under the sun, they

(25:03):
come by, and it's always thesame spiel. Right, they're doing some
work in the neighborhood, and theythought they'd just let you know what a
great deal you could get if youpile on to what your neighbors are already
doing. And more often than notyou got to sit through a spiel of
them answering questions. It could sometimesbe, you know, a trap,
especially if you're not interested in whatthey've got. You're just wasting your time
being polite. Yesterday, Schmidti,my kids are over at some friends' houses

(25:26):
after they got out of school forthe day. It's the afternoon. I'm
just sort of relaxing and I'm lyingon my couch and you've been over to
my house before. The front doorlooks right into the living room, so
you can see the TV and stufflike that, the frost, that class
or something I do. Got todo that you're not an under percent wrong.
We call it the show at nightbecause people can see in, but
we can't see out very well.So a person comes up to the door

(25:48):
and I am like lying on thechase lounge like sort of flat, so
like only a couple of inches ofmy head is visible and I kid you
not. I just flattened out likea pancake some down a little bit.
As this guy's knocking on the doorof the TV's on. My dog's going
nuts, and I'm just flat.I am not moving and this guy he

(26:10):
kept knocking. I'm like, Aminute goes by, and I'm feeling super
awkward. At this point, I'mlike, did he see me? This
is going on, the dog's goingcrazy, and my wife walks upstairs,
doesn't even look over at the couchwhere I'm clearly avoiding all contact with human
vision. Yeah, and she walksright up to the door and answers it,
and he's like, oh, hi, man, I saw your husband

(26:33):
over there. Do you guys havea moment to talk about your bugs or
about bugs that he passed? Anyants coming in? And I just have
to sit there like an idiot becausethe guy already acknowledged that he saw me
starfish out onto the ground. Ibet that's every single house he goes to.
I answered the door last week, and they were young. I mean
I'm clearly like maybe late teens, early twenties, yes, And they started

(26:56):
talking to me about the solar energy, and I just stopped him and I
said, listen, this has tobe the worst part of your job.
I'm not interested. We don't haveto do this Shpiel. Also, I
think you guys have a lot moreto give to society. So if you
like figure out something to do onyour path in life, you will not
have to do this every single dayof your summer. And they looked at
me with the most shocked confused andguess what, it's been eight days and

(27:18):
I even had a single solicitor comeback to my house. Hey, guys,
if you want your life change forever, just stop by that house right
over there. That I will Jehelva'switness you. That's what'll happen sometime because
I get a good feeling. We'vebeen talking a lot about D Day today,
the eightieth anniversary, as remembrance andtributes are being held in Normandy as

(27:45):
we speak. This was such abeautiful story I found and proof that it's
never too late. World War Twoveteran Harold Terrence, who is now one
hundred years old, is set tomarry his ninety six year old fiance,
Jean swirlin this Saturday in Normandy. He was talking with News Nation about how

(28:07):
