Wake up. It gets my daygoing and makes me laugh. I of
it. Mac and Schmitty in themorning on Star one O five point seven.
Oh, good morning, Schmitty,Good morning. Welcome into it.
It is your Thursday. What agreat night to You're about to open up
the windows last night. Let itkind of just cool off and he are

(00:24):
around in the house. Feels incrediblethis morning. Oh my gosh, movies,
music and all the gossip in oneplace. It's the celebritiescoop on Star
one oh five point seven. Oh, it's one of those Hollywood deaths that
got me. Was announced yesterday,Bill Cobbs passing away at the age of
ninety. I don't know if you'llrecognize the name, the face you will

(00:47):
an actor with over fifty years ofexperience in Hollywood. He was in Whitney
Houston's The Bodyguard. He was inThe Hitter, The Brother from Another Planet,
my two personal faves. He wasArthur Cheney and nine two ninety seven's
Airbud and Reginald in two thousand andsix is Night at the Museum. He
was so absolutely incredible. Making hisfeature film debut in nineteen seventy four.

(01:11):
This man had a list of credits, not just more than two hundred movies
and TV shows, including The Sopranosand Walker, Texas Ranger. He took
home a Daytime Emmy Award for thekids show Dino. Dana Bill was born
and raised in Cleveland, served inthe Air Force for eight years, and
then worked at IBM as well asa car salesman before relocating to New York

(01:34):
to find work as an actor. He was in theater productions. He played
the drums, and he just hithis ninetieth birthday milestone back on June sixteenth.
Thomas is Bill's brother said, hewas recently battling pneumonia, which is
the suspected cause of death, butninety years old, and he was so
good at what he did. Youare not wrong. I didn't recognize the

(01:55):
name, but he saw the face. I saw the face, and he
is in everything you remember. Kid. Blank Check was the movie that I'm
like, oh my gosh, it'shim. I've watched that with my kids.
I watched it. Night at theMuseum is mine. So if you've
ever seen The Night at the Museumfranchise, he is the third night watchman,
alongside Mickey Rooney and Dick vandyke He'sincredible, ninety years old. Matthew

(02:16):
Stafford's wife Kelly addressing the media stormthat has been ongoing since her confession about
dating a Georgia backup quarterback to makenow hobby Matt Stafford jealous. So if
you missed this, Kelly was onthe Off the Vine podcast earlier this month
where she talked about landing her nowhusband when she was a cheerleader in Athens,

(02:38):
Georgia. She admitted going after hisbackup to try and get his attention.
He was the bad boy too, like Matthew's so sweet and southern gentleman
and all stuff, and the backupwas the complete opposite. Yeah, yeah,
ooh and it upset him, whichit worked, getankfully, yes,
but yeah, at first it waswas that like the pivotal moment in the
relationship where he was like, actually, you can't be with him, you

(02:59):
need to be with me. Soa lot of people assumed it was Joe
Cox and his family has been facinga lot of internet backlash. So Kelly
broke her silence yesterday on Instagram, writing to this beautiful family, I'm so
sorry for the media storm that happenedlast week, making its way into your

(03:20):
lives. You had zero involvement inwhat I spoke about. Joe is not
the backup quarterback she was mentioning. In fact, it was your relationship in
college that I looked up to andwanted for me and Matthew. You were
the couple that everyone thinks Matthew andI was. You all were the UGAQB
and cheerleader that met and never letgo and love you. I apologize it

(03:40):
wasn't to Cox. Just stop becausepeople are like leaving comments under his wife's
stuff. We're talking about their kids. It's just nasty, nasty. This
this reminds you of when Kelly Staffordwas the Lion's wife, because I feel
like there was how many times KellyStafford would say something a little bit outland
is or maybe get it could betaken multiple ways, would low up and

(04:00):
explode, and then two days latershe'd be like, I'm sorry everybody,
I should just be quiet. That'snot the first time that we've seen this.
Finally, another big NFL story, the sexual assault lawsuit filed against Dallas
Cowboys star Dak Prescott earlier this yearhas officially been dismissed. Collin County,
Texas judge throughout the suit yesterday. This is back from a night two thousand

(04:23):
and seventeen incident where Victoria Shures allegesthat Prescott assaulted her just after his rookie
year with the Cowboys. She claimedhe got inappropriate with her in the parking
lot of a Texas strip club.Dak has been adamant he committed no wrong
doing. Actually countersuit that judge justthrew everything out, saying it lacked serious

(04:44):
merit. This will not be theend, though, Dak's lawyer said he
wants to add hearing to discuss potentialsanctions against Prescott's accuser Victoria, So that
might go down in mid September.Ol of your celeb scoop at West Michigan
Star dot com. Sometimes because I'dget a good feeling sting a fine points
seven. Let's get the day offto a great start, shall we.

(05:08):
It's Mac and Schmidty with feeling goodright now, and this is just cool.
Paul slumb outa en Schmiddy. He'sgetting married and to save it up
for the wedding, he's been driving. He's been delivery driving food and he
was dropping off of Chapolte order toErica Hernandez was the woman's name, and
with his order and all the ordershe delivered, he attached a little note

(05:30):
that just said, thank you foryour order. I'm delivering for love on
the side to give my fiance thewedding she deserves. Any additional tip through
the app or Venmo is greatly appreciated, and then he put his Venmo name
on it. Well. Erica Hernandezmust have really liked that, Chipolte It
must have really liked that note too, because she was moved by it decided
that she was going to put itup online on social media, so she

(05:53):
made a TikTok post that of coursewent viral. This is twenty twenty four.
After all, thirty million Peter pullSaje Schmiddy thirty million people by a
nice ring viral within two hours, massive response, followed by an outpoorate of
supporting donations to the bride in groomin less than a week. They did
not say exactly how much money theyhad received, but they did say it

(06:15):
was more than enough to give themthe wedding of their dreams. This is
actually Paul's fiance Ali Perkins, talkingto Fox five in Atlanta about the whole
thing. We didn't really expect anythingto come of this, and the fact
that a stranger got her know andfelt so compelled to post on the internet
and to advocate for two strangers isunbelievable. Yeah, it is unbelievable.

(06:36):
They not only get the wedding oftheir dreams, but they actually invited Erica
to the wedding and gave her onethousand dollars for her active kindness too.
So pretty sweet. All right,I'm going to warn you right now because
this is going to have your mascararunning. Did you see Sports Center the
other night when Scott Van Pelt Welcometo very special guests, Scoot, Stuart

(06:59):
Scott's daughters Taylor and Sydney. Remember, of course, Stuart taking a rest
after his battle with cancer, ashe would tell you. Well, it
was the tenth anniversary of Stuart's unforgettablespeech at the SPI's about his cancer diagnosis,
and of course the fundraising that hasbeen going on for the Stuart Scott
Cancer Research Fund. Listen to whatScott got to tell the girls. Well,

(07:23):
my chest's pounding because I get totell you, guys, something that
you don't know is coming. Eighteenmillions. Good. That's great, but
let's do better. Between now andJuly eleventh, when the SPS are held,
every single dollar that is donated tothe V Foundation, every single dollar

(07:44):
will go directly to your father's fund. And there is a very generous and
anonymous donor. Every single dollar upto seventy five thousand dollars that this generous
anonymous donor will match, so thatis happening, will match. Every single
dow alert to the V Foundation willgo to the Stuart Scott Cancer Fund up

(08:05):
until the SP's with a match. If that didn't get you, wait until
you hear how his daughters reacted.Yeah, thank you. Your dad loved
North Carolina. Everybody knew that, but there's nothing in the world did he

(08:26):
loved more than his little girls. And I'm sitting here looking at the grown
women you've become, and he'd beso proud, and he is so proud,
and so are all of us atESPN who love you from afar.
It's an incredible video. I'll putthis up for you at West Michigan Star

(08:48):
dot com. Very very cool moment, and you can donate, of course
to the V Foundation. I meanJimmy V's speech and Stuart Scott's speeches were
two of the most impactful empower GoingDown, see fundraising, Generating Unbelievable Moments
in History, Going Down in History, Period, unbelief, movies, music,
and all the gossip in one place. It's the Celebrities group on Star

(09:13):
one oh five point seven. ParisHilton continues her passion cause standing up for
kids without a voice back on CapitolHill yesterday, testifying before Congress on Behalf
of Kids in the Welfare system, the socialite turned mogul testified about the abuses
of children in the system, relatingsome of them to her own experiences,

(09:37):
especially within those disciplinary camps. Shetalks a lot about foster homes as well,
discussing what they've already been able todo. I'm working at both the
federal and state level to an actchange. At the federal level, I
want to see Title four be reauthorizedand I want to see the Stop Institutional
Child Aboose Act pass to provide transparencyand data collection. At the state level,

(10:00):
I have helped to outlaw abusive practiceslike restraint and seclusion, increased licensing
requirements with un and oun site visits, required proper reporting, and increased private
communication with families and their child sothey can report abuse if it's occurring.
And not just that. She wenton to discuss mental health as well,
detailing the physical, emotional, andsexual abuse that she says she endured as

(10:22):
well as lots of other kids whileat a youth residential treatment facility. Meeting
with lawmakers after yesterday to ensure thesebills get passed. You know, it
is maybe an odd spokesperson in yourhead to think about something like this,
but she's doing an amazing job.Chet you got a commender for it,
got personal experience. Dave Portnoy, the Barstool Sports founder and certified swifty maybe

(10:46):
a big fan of the food fighters, but he's still sticking up for Tailor
seeing she definitely plays live. RememberI had this yesterday, Dave Monday.
Actually Dave Grol picked a little bitof a beef on stage. He was
also performing in Life Did over theweekend when he made a comment that kind
of sounded like he was shading TaylorSwift for not singing live. Here was

(11:07):
Dave yesterday, Liz, I likeDave Girl. I'm a Dave Girl guy.
If the Swifties come for his throatburned out his house. That's what
happens when you come after the Swiftiesin the middle of a concert. I
don't know why you want to lightthat fuse. I do think she sings
as well live, but listen, that's Dave Girl. I like Dave Girl.
I like the fool Fighters. Idon't know why you take that shot.

(11:28):
Don't cry to me if they comeafter you. I just love Dave
Portnoy soundbites. One dame, anotherdame. There. I guess he's just
so great. And finally, haveyou heard about the walk? Poor girl,
I can't even do it as good. Haley Welsh is her name.
If you missed this, but haveseen everything that's been around her on social
media the last week, this SoundBitefrom a man on the Street interview went

(11:52):
viral. I got to give inthat hawk, dude, spit on that
head. The girl is cashing in. It has been announced she now has
a merch deal with a Tennessee basedhat company called fat Head Threads. They'll
be selling shirts, hats, andother merch with her phrase of this summer
on everything. However, the latestrumor is that she is also signed with

(12:16):
United Talent Agency. They represent nameslike Timothy Shalomet, Kevin Hart, Bad
Bunny, and Anderson Cooper. I'mbeing told this morning that is not the
case. She has not officially signedwith UTA, but her and her family
have already made hundreds and thousands ofdollars. You know, It's hilarious that
what seems like a drunk good nightout is turned into this incredible viral moment

(12:41):
for this girl. Oh good too, because she's a preschool teacher that actually
lost her job over this. Shewas asked to step down because of everything.
So hey, girl, make yourbunny. I wish I had a
video go viral. Pay me likethat. All of your Celebscoop at West
Michigan start off on. I sawthis post of yours schmiddie this question,
and I I got upset a littlebit because it's one of my favorite things

(13:03):
that your brother now just can't haveanymore. I don't think so. I
mean, if he does, goodon him, because there was some major
food regret last week. We're upnorth with our entire family, and a
few of the days it rained, and this was Thursday. We were all
feeling pretty cooped. It was prettynasty weather, so we were all inside.
This is my entire extended family, and we're doing like a Mario golf

(13:24):
tournament. This is an important thingto remember because I want to blame distraction
for the reason he ate so muchof this. Thursday night, it's like
ten pm and he my sister inlaw comes downstairs and she's really concerned.
He is getting violently ill up intheir room, and she's like, I
don't know what to do, Like, I've never seen him this sick.

(13:46):
It's like, sorry, if you'reeating your wheaties right now, She's like,
it's like projectile, you cannot keepanything down. I nerving de Yeah,
She's like there is an exorcism goingon up there. She was,
I'm afraid he's going to get dehydrated. She's like, he's he's been getting
sick for like two hours. Wehad all been hanging out downstairs. We
thought he went to bed, andso he finally comes down and we're like,
dude, is everything okay. He'slike, yeah, I don't know

(14:07):
what happened. And then at thatexact moment, my other brother opens the
trash in the cabin and finds acompletely empty package of sour Patch kids okay,
and he's like, who ate allof these, and Adam's like,
no, no, no, wewere just playing Mario Golfa was snacking on
a few. We did the research. He had eaten seventy eight pieces of

(14:31):
Sour Patch Kids, because it wasa two hundred piece pack that he had
almost half of on his own.I was like, hey, man,
do you think that maybe you're vomitingbecause there is a giant sugar sour ball
clustering and you're intestine. Oh no, no, I've eaten a lot of
Sour Patch Kids. Two years agofor Christmas, my best friend actually got

(14:52):
me a five pound personalized shorebox seventyeight Sour Patch Kids in one sitting.
I think I can put that downeasy, don't. I guarantee you cannot
because I watched it happen and thiskid got so violently ill. I'm like,
there's no way you're ever gonna beable to eat Sour Patch Kids again.
And then I figured, man,I met people have had horrible experiences

(15:15):
with food. They went too hardon and you guys showed up. I
put this on Facebook. This onebreaks my heart. Katie Chef Boyard reveole,
Oh, I was pregnant with backto back babies. I ate it
for breakfast, lunch, dinner.I hated the smell and wouldn't touch it
growing up. I loved it whenI was pregnant, and now I feel
the same way after the last timeeating it unsuccessfully never again. I loved

(15:41):
shoot Revel. When you crack thatcan, it does have an unmistakable unique
smell. So listen, you're gonnait's gonna wreck your You know your history
with your food, for sure,Lisa, I feel man. When I
was a little girl, we hosteda clam bake, not knowing I have
a shellfish intolerance, and I piggedout sick for days. I have not

(16:03):
touched a clam in almost fifty years. Won't even go to the water.
I don't know if I have afood I like really can't touch anymore.
I do give you some credit,Erica said, peach snaps. If we're
talking drink, y'all had a collegesituation, schmiddy, I like your brother,
have a candy for mine, andit was junior mints. I ate

(16:26):
like three boxes of them while watchinga movie, like those those bigger ones
that you get at the movie theater. And my dad had had some and
I ate all of his box too, and I ralphed the most minty fresh
vomit you have ever had in yourthis regular life. I'm not touching a
junior mint. That's weird styling,a fine point seven. It's Mack and
schmidey. Let me just look atthe calendar here. Yeah, it's Thursday,

(16:49):
so we're throwing it back. Whatyear was it getting you into one
of the summer concerts at the FrederickMeyer Gardens And no, yeah, it's
a sold out show. It's MattKearney. I know a ton of people
that are mes sive fans. Heis acoustically incredible. We're gonna send you
Sunday night to the Meyer Gardens again. It's sold out. But you gotta
know what year was it? Ineed a name, fat boy night Wing,

(17:15):
I don't know what do you think? What's a good dye kickname.
My father wants me to marry Cockoocuckool good. He's so serious. I
know, I know, John McLeanNYPD. Are you all right? Yes?

(17:45):
Dry day yip kay. Hey ladiesand gentlemen, it is your chance
if you can tell us what yearwas it to be at the Meyer Gardens
this Sunday night, six one sixfour five eight, one oh five seven
dollar seven? First chance to guesswhat year was it? In see Matt
Kearney with one five point seven?Hi Star? Who's this? Maria Mario

(18:06):
AA is starting this fine Thursday morningat all? Right? What year was
it? Nineteen ninety five? Girl? You must be on nineties fan,
because yes, it was nineteen ninetyfive. You are going to see sold

Thank you, You're very welcome. We do it every Thursday, throwing it
back with your chance to get tothe Frederick Meyer Gardens all summer long here
on Star, Movies, music andall the gossip in one place. It's

(18:52):
the celebritiescoop on Star one oh fivepoint seven. I mean imagine this.
Jimmy Kimmel is detailing a party hewas at, hosted by Paul McCartney with
an unbelievable celebrity list. Kimmel wason Howard Stern, yesterday talking about being
in London with his wife when heattended the party with the likes of Mick

(19:18):
Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Ringo Star Oh No
Big Deal, also DJ'ed by TaylorSwift. She djade this that's just messed
up. Kimmel said, it wasabsolutely unbelievable. We were invited to a
dinner that night, and then thehost of the dinner got invited to the

(19:38):
party and said, well, whydon't we all just go to the party.
So we went to the party. He said he had serious celebrity envy
and said, I really didn't thinkI was even supposed to be there,
But you know what, as nervousas I was, I ended up talking
to a lot of different people, admitting he even had a good chat.

(20:00):
It's Springsteen. They talked about Elvisand like this isn't Phoebe. Wow,
where are we right here? We'llever of something that cool again. Mick
Jagger, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteenwith Taylor Swift on the ones and twos?
What is happening right here? I'mpretty sure if you're Jimmy Kimmel,
you're just like never again again.Hey Taylor, would you put on some

(20:22):
tunes forever? And that's exactly whathappened, he said. She played them
off of her own personalized iPhone playlist. Oh my goodness by Dang. I
would just love that. Speaking ofPaul McCartney, this is very interesting romance
that has officially gone public. PaulMcCartney's grandson Arthur Donald, is officially dating

(20:44):
Bill Gates' daughter Phoebe well picked son. The twenty one year old confirmed Arthur
as her boyfriend while sharing a pictureof him giving her a piggyback ride.
It was part of a huge photodumb she did for her Stanford University graduation,
and she wrote my boyfriend Arthur givingme lift post ceremony. She also
shared a candid pick of the twocuddling, gushing about how he cleans up

(21:07):
nicely. They did ignite dating rumorsback in October of last year, which
she shared a photo from them togetherin Paris. They also attended Feud Capodi
versus the Swans together earlier this year. But this is kind of like the
Instagram official calling him her bat.I mean, think about the genes that
would wind up in their children.I mean we're talking, you know,

(21:30):
one of the richest men in humanhistory. I don't know. I'm just
thinking. I'm thinking like somebody incollege that is there to be a computer
programmer but wants to play you wonderWall, and I don't think guitar with
that. Finally, justin Timberlink isgetting the most important public show of support

(21:51):
since his DWI arrest last week fromnone other than his wife. Yes,
Jessica Beal was among the thousands whoshowed up to JT's Madison's Garden concert the
other night Unmistakable. Multiple videos cameout, including this one, and you
see Jessica singing along every word. It's an important song because this one is

(22:18):
actually until the End of Time. It's kind of like his love song.
So at least for now, itseems like man wedding rings are on full
support. He messed up, butshe's standing by him, which I kind
of love. All of your celebscoop at West Michigan Star dot com.
I'lling a fine point, Sevin. It's Mack and Schmidty. We want you
and the kids there watching little tinyarms, big old sharp teeth, Tarannosaurus
rexes and all the other cool dinosaursthat are going to be a part of

(22:41):
Dinosaurs in Motion at the Henry FordMuseum. Schmidtien. Yeah, we'll send
you to Detroit right now with passesfor the family if you can give us
today's number one answer. It's Battleof the Sexes. One hundred women surveyed
named something you wear out completely beforereplacing it. Well, if this were
dudes, I know the top answerwould be underwear, because you know you're

(23:02):
wearing that out completely before and sometimeslike still not even replacing it. Yeah,
love instu right, those holes arelucky six one six four eight,
one five seven, collar seven fora shot. One hundred women surveyed,
Name something you completely wear out beforeyou actually replace it. Collar seven six
one six seven. Good morning star. Who's this Shanda? Let's see if

(23:30):
we can get you hooked up.Shanda, you gotta tell me. When
one hundred women were asked to namesomething that you basically wear out completely before
replacing, what do you think, their top answer was, boo, you're
going shoes? How long will youkeep wearing the same pair of tennis shoes?
Shonda's very long time, A verylong time. I literally, you

(23:52):
know, I said earlier. Theguys will put holes in their underwear before
they replace it. That's true. And we will also allow holes to come
into our shoes sometimes before that goeson. And we're not alone in that
one. Shonda Shoes is the topanswer you congratulations, Well I come heck
heck, yes, you are goingto be going to check out the new

(24:12):
Dinosaurs in Motion exhibit at the HenryFord Museum. We've got four tickets to
hook you and your crew up withcongratulations. Well, thank you. I'm
very welcome, Shanda. We're doingit again tomorrow too. Battling every day,
eight fifteen here on Star little fivepoint second, good morning. You
know it's Mack and Schmidty and wecan all own it. When you're young,

(24:33):
you make dumb mistakes, especially behindthe wheel when you're a young Jawi.
Yeah, you're like your most vulnerablewhen you're trying to get that learner's
permit. Oh oh, you know, undeveloped brains, all that nonsense.
But you know what, My sonactually got to witness a dumb moment from
a teenager just yesterday. And Iwant to know what yours is. What
was your learning moment mistake that youmade growing up while driving? Because yesterday

(24:56):
my son was on his way toa pool with a friend of his and
they were driving to the car togetherand they were at a light and just
sitting there, and all of asudden, the driver of the vehicle,
my friend, my son's friend's momare friends of ours. Okay, feels
like she's in the car wash, and you know how you're moving forward in
the car wash, but it feelslike you're moving backwards a little bit.

(25:18):
All of a sudden, she startedto pull forward, but she felt like
she was moving backwards almost, butit wasn't. It was the vehicle in
front of her in reverse, drivingdirectly into her in reverse light turns green.
Car is she's not moving all ofa sudden, She's like looking like,
am I hitting the gas? No? The car is coming right at

(25:38):
her, smashes right into the frontof the vea. They were stopped though,
right, So everybody's okay. Everybody'sokay. Minor damage, of course.
It's a seventeen year old girl whohad just gotten her license a couple
of months ago, and she isballied. She is beside herself. I
don't know what her parents were gonnado, but you know, that's the

(25:59):
fear we all have when we pulledthat dumb learning moment move when we're in
school. What was it for you? Is it like a stick? And
I'm like more concerned. How didyou go and reverse? I don't know
whether she had tried to put itin park or what. That's what I
mean. It had to just besomething extremely stupid, because what was your
car doing in the reverse out oflight? It made me feel a lot
better because my driving instructor tried totrick me and had me pull down a
one way going the wrong way,and I was like, tricks on you,

(26:22):
dude, I'm still doing it.And I did. Took me about
halfway to realize am I going thewrong way down to one way? He's
like, you are? You are? Turn it around? Turn it around.
What I want to know is whyhe would didn't use the brake on
his side, like he could haveprevented you from driving the wrong way down
the street. They got those brakeson the side. Oh that is just
great. I like this. You'renot the only one who's had a driver's
head thing. Sarah on here said, I could already drive, and my

(26:45):
driver's head teacher just wanted me todrive him around and get snacks and fast
food. I don't know if that'sa learning moment for a teenager. Do
you not have to have a drivethrough part of your I did. I
went through four different drive throughs whileI was learning to drive, so yes,
that is a real old finger.Earl. I went through a KFC
at Taco Bell in a McDonald's.Oh, Lisa, what did you learn

(27:06):
to not ever run out of gasagain? My dad was furious, Yeah,
how'd you like to get a callfrom Beteina? And You're like,
hey, I really guess it's rightin front of you on the dash.
How does it happen? It's moreembarrassing when you have to call your husbands?
What was your learning moment as ateenage driver? Can hit us up
and join the conversation on Facebook AT'sWest Michigan Star sometimes because I get a

(27:30):
good feeling selling a fine point sevenit smack and schmitty. I always looking
to make your morning a little better. Feeling good right now? I love
talking love stories and when a marriagehas lasted seventy six years, we got
a shout about it. Such abig congratulations and happy anniversary to Earle and
Irma van Nortwick. That live inHudsonville, celebrating seventy six years yesterday,

(27:56):
and they look great doing it.Earl at nine, Irma at ninety three
block seventeen. Got to sit downwith them, listen to how they talk
about each other. They had aSaturday night dance in town Alma, Mi
Chican. It was like an oldfashioned what would you call that? I
don't know, nothing like they havetoday. We've never carried no grudges,

(28:18):
no ever. He's been my sweetheart. He's been my sweetheart. Yes.
The couple met on a Saturday nightat a dance held above a J.
C. Penny. Earl was homefrom the Navy and just happened to run
into Irma. The pair got marriedin nineteen forty eight. Earl then returned
to post war service for about sixmonths. The two have been inseparable ever

(28:41):
since. They operated a restaurant togethercalled the Itty Bitty Bar. They have
brought up multiple kids, grandkids, great grandkids. And when you hear Irma
talk about praising the Lord for him, it just brings it all together.
Just praise the Lord, thanking himfor every day he gets us. Because

(29:03):
we are getting old and we wantto be ready to meet him. So
whatever he has in mind is whatwe're ready for, isn't it gorgeous?
Seventy six years? I love you, Earl and Irma van Nordwick. Great,
thank you for sharing that with us. Earl and Irma? Could you
not pick better names? People? That's awesome? All right, Swinny,

(29:26):
this is very cool. Studies havetold us that about one in twenty people
have sensory processing issues. We've talkedabout this before. Those numbers typically higher
for people who also have maybe ADHDor autism spectrum disorder. But West Michigan
based nonprofit I understand who We've talkedabout lots of time. Their founder,

(29:48):
Bonnie Woodrick, always out there tryingto do good in our community and has
stepped up again. This is reallycool. They're providing sensory bags to sports
and performance venues, but again,we give a more inclusive experience, she
told Fox seventeen for those that needsome comfort and calm during the game or
the concerts. I recognize the needthat not everyone can handle the noise the

crowds. They're distracted very easily, and so working with Vanandelerina and the Grand
Rapids Griffins, we said, whatcan we do, and they looked at
the sensory rooms, but space forthat venue pretty limited, so they decided
at both Vanandelerina and DeVos Performance Hall, they're putting these sensory bags there.
Inside the bag a wiggle seat, weighted lap pads, noise canceling headphones,

(30:34):
disinfectant wipes, things too that willhelp them either be distracted or take some
of those lights and sounds out oftheir spectral views, and even cleaning in
there as well. But again thisis totally free for anyone to use.
All you gotta do is walk rightup to guest Services. They'll give you
the bags, you can check themout, you bring them back when you're

other places too. Yeah, they'vegot these at the job Ball Zoo and
