Speaker 1 (00:03):
Wake up.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
It gets my day going.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
It makes me laugh.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
I of it. Mac and Schmitty in the morning on
Star one O five point seven.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Well, good morning, Smitty, good morning, and man oh man,
happy Fred.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
It was a long week, certainly was so tgif for sure,
and man, mother nature is going to reward you just
for getting through it. I will start today into the
low or excuse me, into the upper thirties around West Michigan.
But we're gonna end it basking in some sunshine with
temperatures in the mid to upper sixties today.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yeah, And I mean, let's look at the weekend seventy
on Sunday. Who else is going to be putting the
TV in the driveway and watching the lions outside. It
sounds pretty nice, don't it.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I was messing with my wife yesterday and I was like, oh,
did you see all the sunshine this week? I get
be like, seventy degrees, we gotta go to the beach,
and she looks at me, not one thousand percent sure
whether or not I'm a kidding.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I told you this is the greatest time of the year.
I go to the beach and are you're kidding? Nobody's
there sit on that Great Sand. We have to we
live in Michigan. It's our DNA, movies, music and all
the gossip in one place.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
It's the celebrities group on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Well, we're getting more details about the passing of One
Direction star Liam Payne, dying from an apparent suicide. Local
law enforcement in Argentina. Of course, he was staying at
that hotel in Buenos Aires say that his fall from
the third floor hotel room where he was staying looks
to be intentional. This is a police official talking to
the AP. They believe again preliminary investigation showing that he

(01:40):
did jump from the balcony. The autopsy has been issued
by government officials, but the fall resulted in multiple injuries,
including internal and external hemorrhage, while toxicology reports are still pending.
We're also learning that staff at the hotel were very concerned.
They had not been able to get into Liam's hotel
room for days that led to the emergency call leading

(02:03):
up to that tragic death. Hotel guests say he seemed
overwhelmed by drugs and alcohol, and pictures were released yesterday
inside his hotel room showing a very chaotic scene. A
smashed up television, broken items littering the floor. It's just
so sad. This looks like someone who is truly, truly struggling,

(02:23):
and again only thirty one years old. As Hollywood continues
to reach out with tributes, we heard from Halsey yesterday
confirming she was a devoted directioner, writing as a parent,
a fellow artist, and a fan, I simply cannot fathom
this untimely loss. My heart goes out to his family,
his friends, and the fans. Camilla Caveo saying that she

(02:45):
also got her start in the music industry thanks to
the X factor. Similar to Liam, recalled meeting the singer
at a very young age, adding it is just a
tragedy to have him gone way too soon. We're also
learning a bit more about some of the Eagle and
public issues he was dealing with, including being dropped by
both his record label and his publicist in the day's

(03:08):
leading up to this. So not what you want to report,
but continues to be a reminder that reach out if
you are having these issues, because it's just so sad
when you have to report these things. All Right, finally
we got to talk about this space travel. Sir Richard
Branson planning to copilot the first ever crude flight of

(03:30):
Space Perspectives stratosperic balloon flight. And we're now getting some
interesting details. So this capsule, which is powered by hydrogen,
will fly eight passengers twenty miles above Earth, and the
business tycoon plans to be behind the wheel. So Space
Perspective is the company behind this. They completed an uncrewed

(03:52):
flight back in September successfully and it is going to
be levels above the atmosphere never before achieved in commercial
balloon flight flight. This will be the first world balloon
trip to space. Check out some of these luxurious items.
Guests will enjoy a world class meal as well as

(04:12):
cocktail service. There is even Wi Fi on board. It's
gonna cost you one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars
a seat, but also includes a proper restroom. As Sir
Branson says, that has been dubbed the space Spa.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Why is it that I feel like everyone aboard is like, oh,
did you hear about the safe space Spa. I'm going
to wait till we're up there, and then I'm gonna
go to the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
I would like.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
What could be better than having like a good pee
while you're looking at the Earth from space.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
That just sounds rich.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
People problems, all right, all of your celebscoop at West
Michigan Star dot com.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Sometimes because I get a good feeling. Let's just say,
the Lions might never have been more popular, and now
you can see their field someplace other than just Ford Field.
I love this feeling good. On Startingo five point seven,
it's Mack and Schmidty and of course is everybody's got
Lions Mania. Brad and Tracy Smith and wood Haven might

(05:11):
stand out above the rest because they now have Ford
Field in their front yard. They turned their entire front
yard into a one tenth exact replica of the Lions fields.
It was real cool. Brad was apparently just mowing the
lawn and all of a sudden it hit him. He
visualized it, and his wife Tracy decided to let him

(05:34):
do it if it looked good. He brought in his
neighbor as well, to be his own personal mathematician. He's
got his neighbor. Jared Blair figured it all out. Yeah,
caught up with WXYZ there in Detroit talking about how
this whole thing came to fruition.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
He was mowing the lawn, and all of a sudden
he started screaming, bab babe, I got this great idea.
We had to make all the templates.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
We didn't know how hard that was gonna because we
had to draw everything out by hand.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
My brain hurts from the calculations we had to do.

Speaker 6 (06:03):
It's a one tenth exact replica. My only advice was,
if you're gonna do it, it better look great, and
it does.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
We are die hards. You can say whatever you want
to say about us, but we are die hard fans.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
One hundred percent. They are die hard fans. Doesn't get
much more than that schmitty. And it's pretty incredible too,
to see this thing only about one hundred dollars worth
of materials in twenty four hours it took them to
make it after they got all those calculations done. My
favorite part might be though they asked him what he's
gonna do when the grass grows, He's like, I haven't
gotten that far yet. We'll see if it's too bad

(06:37):
before the snow comes in, where they'll move it into
his incredible lions. Decked out man came Grudge nfl worthy.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
You guys, all right, you know we trust Storm Team
ain't for our forecasts, but I've got to be honest.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
If we could have a.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Little cameo, it might be Snoop Dog if you joined
the Today Show yesterday to take over for Al Roker.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
Real quick, Wow, it's fifty seven degrees and Mary Jane falls,
that's right. And then I heard it was gonna be
fifty six degrees in Stona, Colorado.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
But my favorite is when it's nice, hot and missty
outside eighty four degrees and blunts South Dakota, go sliding
on down to this area right here above the average
highs seventy degrees in Roach, Missouri.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Yes, I mean we stayed lucky in Kentucky.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
It's gonna be sixty as we blazed and blazed Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
You did, yeh yeah. And over here we.

Speaker 7 (07:30):
Got Pottsville, Pennsylvania, where will be sixty degrees and down
low on the go sixty one degrees at high point,
get that high Point, North Carolina.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
It was so good.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
By the way, every one of those places, real places,
real city named Snooben set to promote his new line
of edibles onion rings be very interesting. Got the video
for you on our Instagram at West Michigan, Star Movies,
music and all the gossip in one place.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
It's the celebrities group on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
The investigation continues in Argentina over the death of Liam Payne,
former One Direction Star. Local law enforcement in Argentina now
say the fall from that third floor hotel room was intentional,
a police official in Buenos Aires telling the AP they
do believe Liam had jumped from the balcony of his room.

(08:27):
Now this is just a preliminary autopsy, it does show
multiple injuries, including internal and external hemorrhage. That toxicology report
is still pending, but one of the big big statements
made yesterday from Liam's family, telling the BBC they are heartbroken.
Liam will forever live in our hearts and will remember
him for his kind, funny and brave soul. We are

(08:49):
supporting each other the best we can as a family
and ask for privacy and space at this awful time.
Pain's One Direction bandmates coming together for a joint statement. Tomlinson,
Harry Styles, Zane Mallick and Nile Horan sharing very very
emotional statement. We are completely devastated by the news of
Liam's passing in time, and when everyone is able to

(09:12):
there will be more to say, But for now, we'll
take some time to grieve and process the loss of
our brother who we loved dearly. The memories we shared
with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts
are with his family, his friends, and the fans who
loved him. Later on yesterday, Tomlinson posting his own tribute,
saying he was somebody I looked up to every day,
so positive, funny, such a kind soul and an incredible songwriter.

(09:37):
Malick also taking to his own personal social saying, Liam,
I found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you
can hear me. I can't help but think selfishly that
there was so many more conversations for us to have
in our lives. Liam Payne just thirty one years old.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
This was a.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
Really tough moment as well. Rita Aura really feeling the
loss of Liam. She was in hand last night, just
hours after the news of Liam's tragic death, and Argentina
broke Listen to what this sounded like for her.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I can't even sick this star.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
You can see her literally sit down on the stage
and start sobbing at one point, she actually exited the
stage as a picture of her and Liam doing this song.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Together posted on the back.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
They were actually together for this one from the fifty
Shades Breed soundtrack.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
It's called for You.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
I had to literally get herself back together in order
to even come back on stage and finish that show.
People are just really hurt by this.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, I mean, it's tough and encapsulates so many of
the issues that impacts, you know, the people that we
all know, whether it's substance abuse, things, mental health, and
of course now suicide. It's it's heartbreaking, all right.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Finally, Travis Kelcey sending fans into quite a frenzy over
his hair transformation. He boasted a video last night to
the official Grotesque Ray Instagram. That's the FX horror series
he's been a part of, so he's regular Travis. And

(11:23):
then he's got a mullet, I mean, a full blown
bangs party in the back business up front mullet.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
I'm hoping that.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
This isn't permanent, but seeing as how he's transformed his
look the last few games in the NFL quite possibly
a lot of people saying, wait, is this are you?

Speaker 1 (11:43):
My favorite comment? What in the Billy Ray exactly.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
I mean he was already rocking the style of an
early nineteen nineties dad. I feel like Schmitty now he
just has the hair contents.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Marry TikTok, Travis, I've got it up for you with
your scoop at West Michigan Star dot com.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Good morning to you. It's Mack and Schmidty, and I'm
glad there's still some semblance of our past lives as
looking through catalogs at toys.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
We'll see when it shows up to your house. Have
you gotten it yet?

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
We got one of them, but not the Amazon one.
I forget which one we got. It was either like
Target or maybe it was Walmarts.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
All right, so the Amazon Christmas catalog is out, and
I feel like I got to start with his warning
to parents, because if you don't want your kids to
sit there and circle about three hundred and seventy two
things they want for Christmas, you might want to make
your way to the mailbox before they do. Ours showed
up on Wednesday this week, and I could tell my
kids love getting the mails.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
They're most being from part of the day. And they
opened it and here we'll go.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Oh man, runs inside, and I know it's the Amazon
and like the Amazon Christmas Catalog. If maybe you don't
have littles or you haven't seen it. I mean it's
like you were a kid and every commercial you ever saw,
you're like, I want that only in the world, Like
it's stuff I didn't even know existed yet, and as

(12:59):
on Amazon.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
So my kids are looking through this and they're like circling.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
This and this, and they're like, oh my gosh, and
it's stuff like you know, there's seventeen Barbie pages and
it's like, oh, remember when we were kids in a
Barbie dream Car was like the top tier toy to have.
This is like Barbie dream Tesla. Now like there's a
whole new Barbie line of things that the dream House
has now been turned into some kind of like Silicon

(13:26):
Valley condo.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Everything is just so leveled up.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
And I thought, man, it's fun because they still have
some of the old school stuff, especially in the toddler
area of the catalog. You know, they've got like the blocks,
and I love the Michelle and Doug.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
Toys you see those at Target. Those are great.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
You know, what was your favorite toy as a kid,
Do you remember maybe that Christmas gift or that Birthday
gift that you'd been waiting and waiting and it finally happened.
Because as much as I love to give my kids experiences,
I think that's a really cool gift, there's still that
that thing that you remember for life when.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
You got it, and it's when you're really young, like
your kids are right now. That's when you know you
can still get awesome presence and have them way in
like that that aren't super expensive for over the time.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Well, that's the problem, because I'll tell you I really
wanted my life size Barbie and now as an adult,
I was.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Like, that was three hundred and fifty dollars.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
What was I think, Mom, I'm so glad you didn't
get that for me, and ended up putting it into
a college savings account.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
I had this Fisher Price Fireman's like whole playscape all right,
and like I have seen this in kids' houses for
the next twenty years. They were given out basically the
same one, and I think I played with that thing
NonStop for.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
About six Well Playscape like, what did it have?

Speaker 2 (14:44):
It had the different Fireman's poll, multiple garages for fireman's truck. Yeah,
it's like a two story thing. That's why this thing
was so cool, Like opening it up on Christmas morning.
I just remember I was probably I was probably five.
It's one of my earliest memories.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
I did you shut that up?

Speaker 2 (14:58):
It was already set up. My parents must have stay
up at night and set the whole thing up. I
mean it's like a little it's it's two story, but
it's like little Fisher Price thing. It's amazing.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
I thought you were like putting up a pole in
the basement. And I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry. I'm
not that kind of parent.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Dreamsitbe yeah for me.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
I got a couple of messages.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Best toy you ever got, Reney said, I actually loved
having a furby.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Does that make me creepy?

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
John micro machines and the hot Wheels ramps. I never
got the ramps. My next door neighbor did, and I
was over there every day in the summer. And then Sean,
I think Sean wins he loved Operation Oh still an
absolute classic, and he goes heads up parents, it worked.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
I'm a doctor now.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Mack and Schmidty in the morning on Star one five
point seven time spilling.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Tea, take time, spill the tea, sweetheart.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
A little bit of tea, and at least your tea.
Each and every Friday, we ask you for your dirt,
your gossip, the weird stuff going on in your life
that you won't mind sharing anonymously, like today's today's listener
did Schmidty, And that's what is good for those workplace romances.
Maybe a reminder that things get a little bit ugly
when you do that. She says, Hey, Mack and Schmidty,
my young twenties coworkers, I started dating and now it's

(16:13):
getting messy. My coworker quote Ashley, not a real name,
but really like this guy we work with, Brian. We're
not allowed to date coworkers without disclosing the relationship to HR,
and that usually leads to one person getting transferred to
another location. They've been dating for several weeks now, and
it's him who's super into her, so naturally her crush
is now faded. Here's the crazy part. She wants him

(16:36):
to make the relationship public so that HR forces him
to transfer, so that she can then break up with
him without having to see him at work every day.
As a person who's been married for eighteen years. Thank god,
I don't have to deal with modern dating and these games.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Yeah, TH's girl's a red flag and a half.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Is this like ghosting to the next level if ghosting
were an Olympic sport with this girl be standing on
the podium? I mean, because I assume that it's going
to be public, and then she's just gonna chop the
acts like.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Here's the deal, quote unquote Ashley, Sure hope you didn't
send this from your work email, because guess who's getting transferred,
Guess who's getting dumped, and guess who's possibly getting fired
for being a little crazy about this.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
That's the part I wondered about. I'm like, how does
she know that she's not going to be the one
who has to get transferred? Or does she not care?
She just doesn't want to have to see this guy
every single day at work. I don't really still wear that.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
I'd like to use the word crazy when I'm talking
about my fellow ladies, but this is a little over
the top.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Just maybe you get away in hit a shop at
West Michigan Star. We've got this up right now on
our Facebook page. But you can always send your dirt
to us. Teek time each and every Friday, hit a hup,
Facebook and Instagram again at West Michigan Staries.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Music and all the gossip in one place.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
It's the celebritiescoop on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Well man, it's been like a couple days since we've
talked about Ditty, and the Feds are adamant Ditty is
a menace to society and will threaten witnesses and victims
if the judge lets him out on bail. Once again,
the US Attorney's Office responding to Ditty's latest effort to
get released on bail. Remember, he is still behind bars

(18:19):
awaiting trial that's been set for May. New documents filed
yesterday reminding the judge what the defendant has allegedly done
in the past to obstruct justice. And they're once again
using the infamous Cassie beat down video from March of
twenty sixteen at LA's Inner Con Hotel. Now there is
still no mention of Cassie by name. Federal prosecutors simply

(18:42):
describe everything that was seen in the video, the punching,
the throwing her to the ground, attempting to drag her
back to the hotel room. But they also want the
judge to focus on what happened afterwards. When hotel security
approached Ditty after seeing what happened on their surveillance video.
According to documents, the Bad Record founder attempted to bribe
security with a stack of cash in exchange for silence.

(19:06):
Now that security officer did turn that down, but then
the Fed say did he directed his staff to pretty
much steal the video and make sure it disappeared from
the hotel's computer servers. FEDS are saying, please, the appeals
court judges need to reaffirm the lower court's decision to
deny Diddy bond. He does not deserve to be out

(19:27):
in public, and he is certainly a threat if given
that opportunity.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
I don't know what did he thought was going to
happen to him, but I'll guarantee you he didn't think
when he was going to get arrested that he was
never going to get out ever again. And when you're
that rich, I'm sure he thought he was going to
get out on bail. Maybe he had some other ideas
and getting out of the country.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
But I could see these Feds must have so much,
that's all I can think. They must have so much
evidence to be like, listen, you cannot let this guy
get away at all. One direction Star Liam Payne. As
we are learning more about his passing, apparently a suicide.
Local law enforcement in Argentina now say that fall from
his third floor hotel room looked to be intentional. This

(20:08):
is a police official in Buenos Aires talking to the
AP that at least preliminary results show that he did
jump from the balcony of his room. We saw lots
of statements put out, including from his family asking for privacy.
At this time, the One De Boys all banding together,
Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zane Mallick and Niall Horan talking

(20:30):
about the devastation of losing a brother and this has
hit Simon Cowell pretty hard as well. To remember, thanks
to Britain's Got Talent, the long running competition series one
D was introduced to the world. It was Simon that
pretty much considered him to be the one to start
the band. Liam had often called him, you know, the manager.

(20:51):
He looked at Liam as a protege. He actually stopped
taping yesterday. He was due back with the judges for
a brand new season over in the UK and halted
it said that it was just not going to be
something that they could go forward with right now.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
It's pretty wild just to remember that whole time period
that those guys came up as individuals from the X Factor,
then put together into this supergroup that took off into
the world, became massive, Oh so young.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Finally, Jennifer Lopez may be single, but not if Drake
has anything to do with it.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Check this out.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Apparently the hotline beling Star is attempting to be that
shoulder to cry on for the love don't cost a
thing singer. So here is the deal. If you forgot,
Drake and j Loo actually have a dating history, they
kind of were first romantically linked back in twenty sixteen.
They posted a bunch of cozy photos together on Instagram,

(21:48):
they attended.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
A party they were reportedly seen kissing.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
Lopez confirmed in twenty seventeen they'd been spending time together,
but never like fully confirmed the nature of their relationship.
While to sources, as soon as soon as j Loo
announced her split from Ben Affleck, Drake came right in.
According to an insider, he offered Lopez supportive words with
a clear romantic undertone, saying, here's the deal. He was

(22:15):
so very sweet, you are the best. What a fool
Ben is for letting you get away? He quickly let
her know that he is ready and willing to step
in and satisfy her.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Not even let the divorce get cold. Eir drag to
get wait.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
For the ink to dry in Hollywood. You gotta take
it as quick as possible. All of your scoop at
West Michigan Star dot Com.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Battle of the Sex is looking to get you out
for some family fun next weekend with Ringling Brothers and
Barnum and Bailey bringing the greatest show on Earth over
to Van Andelerina and we're getting hooked up right now.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Yeah, Battle of the Sex is scores the entire family
tickets is gonna be a go one. One hundred men
surveyed named something. Siblings accuse each other of hogging.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
So this isn't on the list of answers here, but
it's the stage of life. I'm currently in schmitti the
front seat of my car. Anytime we're going anywhere right now,
it is a battle for.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Which one, and they both sit in the front seat.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
They ken My son, who's two years younger than my daughter,
is actually bigger than her. Yeah, height and weight, so
he considers.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
I'm gonna tell my kids, you have to be one
hundred and fifty pounds to sit in the front seat.
But I'm sorry, it's not me. It's the government and
the doctors. I don't think it's actually that far off
from that anymore. Literally, if you're not six ' five,
you can't be off here. I'm so sorry. Six one, six, four, five, eight,
one oh five seven. One hundred men surveyed name something
siblings accuse each other of hogging taller seven, You've got

(23:38):
that number one answer. We've got tickets to the greatest
show on Earth. It's Star Win five point seven.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Good morning Star. Who's this?

Speaker 3 (23:45):
This is Holly?

Speaker 2 (23:46):
You said, Holly? Yeah, all right, Holly. Where are you
coming from? This morning?

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Bill?

Speaker 2 (23:51):
All right, Holly, Happy Friday. Let's see if we can
make it even better though, and get you to Wringling
Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Holly. One hundred women. We're
asked to name something that siblings often accuse the other
of the hogging. What do you think their top answer.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Is, I'm gonna have to go with TV or remote.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
The TV remote. Yeah, everybody with shiblings. Who's listening right now,
at one point in time or another has come to blows,
probably with their siblings because you get into some extreme
fights arguing over that TV remoter. At least you did
in my household. That's the top answer. Well done, Hollyay
so excited, Holly. You guys are bringing the whole family

(24:32):
to go check out Wringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey
over at Van Agelerina next weekend. Congrats, Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
I'm really excited.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
We're excited for you, and we'll have more chances to
win all next week. Be listened. We'll get you into here.
On STARLINO five point seven some one and two. It's
Mack and Schmidty and tgif Schmidty. I'm saying it today,
but I'm also saying it because it was the inspiration
for one of our touristy stops while we were over
in San Francisco. Y I yact had to do it.

(25:03):
I mean, everybody knows that when you were watching TJF
and a Friday Night in the nineteen nineties, you were
going to hear this song come on right here, and
you were going to see Danny Tanner probably Kimmy Gibbler,
of course, DJ Stephanie and John Stamos, uncle Jesse as well.
But full House. We went to the full House House.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Yeah, I went there when I was over there too.
I mean you kind of have oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yeah, my wife, like you know, the Golden gate Bridge,
Peer thirty nine, all these amazing things. The very first
thing she says is, I just want to go to
the painted ladies, the famous houses from the of course
opening intro of Full House.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Did you look at how much the cost?

Speaker 2 (25:43):
We did not, but we looked at a lot of
other real estate.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Well take you right down that rolling hill you see
in the beginning too.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
I can't even imagine. But it was so funny because
there's this park that's right across the street from the houses,
and it was so neat to see other people around
our age, other like you know, thirty and forties just
door king out. Oh yeah, it as well, like everyone
has taken pictures and having fun. And I just wanted
to have you ever been to any other of your

(26:09):
favorite TV or movie houses that you want to do?

Speaker 3 (26:12):
I haven't, but there's two on my list, and Amy
popped on our Facebook she's been to the Dennison's House
from hocus Pocus that is top tier for me. There's
actually a house right down the street from where I
grew up in Lansing that is identical and we always called.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
It the hocus Pocus House. I really would love to
see that my other stop.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
I want to go to New York and see the
apartment building from Friends. You know what, I guess I
have to love like it looks identical still to the show.
There's so many like TikTokers that'll go and take like
the before and after picks, and it's like even you
know what, twenty years ago when that show premiered, it
looks identical and I would love to do that.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
I don't know why, but like Growing Pains, that was
the show that I watched just so much when I
was younger, and I always wanted to be like a
upstairs that's where Mike Seaver lives would take. I'm not
sure exactly what city was. I want to say Chicago,
but I could be wrong on that. But there's so
many houses the one that I know people who have
been to that. I definitely got to go to the

(27:10):
Christmas Story House because that's just in Ohio. I think right.
I think that's just down.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
The road for a little bit and it's a museum.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Yeah the guy. Yeah, it's one of the cast members
who I think even owns it now.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
I think a group of them.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
There was a lot of drama in the last year,
and I think they put up the money because originally
was going to get sold and they weren't sure that
new owners would keep it going.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Remember when Lance Pass was going to buy the Brady
Bunch House and he got kind of snaked out of it.
I feel like.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
From hgtv YE that's stuff.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Yeah, what is the TV or movie house that would
you would love to get to? The horror houses are
what I always find interesting that people want to go
and visit the places where they've seen people get murdered
in horror movies. Maybe thank you. Yeah, I'll stay clear
of the Texas Chainsaw Barn. Okay, what is that place
for you? We've got this up on Facebook right now
at West Michigan.

Speaker 7 (27:55):
Star sometime because I get a good feeling.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Well, let's perk you up. Make this Friday fly by
with some good news. Come in at your way right now.
It's feeling good on startwe oh five point seven what's up,
smit Man?

Speaker 3 (28:11):
What an example. Noah's sapone is his name. Starting his
junior year at REETHS. Puffer High School near Muskegon, and
the teachers already knew he was such a star student.
He's on the football team, he's in the choir, he's
memorizing lines for the school's performance in theater. He is
someone that everyone can count on. But his teachers tell
what TV they also noticed something else about his phone,

(28:33):
nothing to do with acting or his grades, but his kindness.
They say he's friendly, collaborative, and there's always a tone
of respect and kindness and doing the right thing. They say,
he's a well rounded kid, and he gives that to
his fellow students. So when he lost his mom back
in January, it was the students he leaned on like family,

(28:54):
knowing how important it was to feel okay sometimes and
other times. Understand that not being okay is also okay.
It's really wise advice from a high schooler.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Last year, my mom passed away in like January. My
mom was extremely important to me, like my best friend.
So people know I'm not always one hundred percenter always happy,
and so it's okay. You just got to be honest
with people and tell people how you feel like people
you care about.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
And that incredible.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
His choir teacher, Josh Danielson added, boy, I think he'd
be a great teacher. That maybe is a selfish desire,
but whatever he decides to do.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
He's going to do it. He's going to do it
incredibly well. So shout out to Noah.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Yeah, Seri's head on his shoulders for sure, all right, spinde.
Last Thursday, twenty one year old Jared Burke Calter making
the news because of what he did over at Humburg,
Brita and Gibraltar. See, he was getting ready to take
his boat out to his favorite little small island, just
kind of chill out, and then he heard this loud
boom and looked over right there on the water saw

(29:57):
a boat engulfed in flames, poor and mokeout a really
wild scene and people were recording as Burke Halter started
hearing cries for help. The wind was blowing hard it
was a cold day, so without his second thought, he
actually ran his boat over to the one that was
on fire, where he spotted an elderly couple on board

(30:19):
and not in good condition at that moment. As they
were obviously terrified. He explained to New seven in Detroit,
just what this seemed looked like.

Speaker 6 (30:31):
I was pouring out smoke tremendously. Here, I flung my
boat around. Here, I put my nose against the side
of his boat. They were shirking up, they were The
guy said he just got He just filled the tanks
up too. So when I heard that, I said, we got,
you know, let's go, we gotta get off. Well, there's
not much thinking going on when that happens. It's just,
you know, you got to think fast. You can't freeze off.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Yeah, he can't freeze up, and he didn't, he said,
he just let his instincts go right into action, and
it worked out great. He was able to get the
couple off of the boat in the nicked. I'm getting
back to shore and everybody is okay, wow, really incredible.
The Joe Brother police are gonna hit him up. They
want to give him some sort of citizens award. And
what did he expect for a reward, Well, he just

(31:12):
wanted to go back out to his little island and
enjoy something else.

Speaker 6 (31:16):
Ah, it's just a nice cold beer.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Just a nice cold there hanging out there I'll deserved. Definitely,
feeling good comes at you a couple times a day.
I always want to share some amazing stories with you
or tell you about people doing incredible things. We'll do
it again for you on Monday six forty five and
nine twenty and starting on five point seven Mack and
Schmidty in the morning weekdays starting at six am on
Star one oh five point seven
