Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Debra, how are you? Thanks for jumping on our show.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm doing so good. Good morning, good way.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Where in Hawaii are you?
Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm on Kawaii.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Oh, my son lives in Oahu.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Most beautiful place in the world. Me lucky your son.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
I know, I agree, I agree. But thanks for getting
up so early.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yeah, I thought it was at seven. I don't even
know how this happened. So for me, I was awake.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Oh yeah, I'm glad you're awake. So how do we start?
What do we do? Well, I'll tell you so you know.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Occasionally I host another radio show, an overnight show called
Coast to Coast AM, and my guest Saturday was Deborah,
who is an astrologist and maybe I'm saying this wrong,
is a psychoanalyst as well a psychotherapist. Psychotherapist, okay, so,
and she was saying, like, before she ever sees any patients,
(00:50):
she demands to do their charts because it's so accurate
about the like the quirky things in your personality. So
I thought it'd be fun to have her do all
of your star charts and have her kind of a
look into the people on the show. Because when she
told me things about me. They were very specific and
very quirky, and I would say one hundred accurate.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Okay, before we start.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I don't have I only have your birth date. I
don't have your birthday. I just have your birth sign.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Before we go ahead, how do we get how do
people get a hold of you if they're listening to
this or do you want people to get a hold
of you?
Speaker 2 (01:26):
They can go to my website, which is Silverman Astrology.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Okay, perfect, Okay, So since you did Rich already, let's
let's hear what you got for Rich.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Okay, do you want me to talk about Rich's personalities?
Where we should start?
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (01:40):
And are we on right now?
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Oh? Okay, that's so funny. Rich Rich the pisces, the
man who has the gift of being very, very profoundly
sensitive at the same time being a speed freak. So
a sensitive speed freak. How do we put those two together?
Gift is how does that work? You got to talk
to you got to talk to Rich. But I would
(02:04):
say that his gift is having such an interesting mind
that collects information and is so curious at the same
time having a quirky personality type that doesn't let himself
get stuck in a box. So he's the guy that
says the weird things and walks off the script and
has an individualistic thought process that makes everybody go that
was interesting.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
You know what about John Jay?
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Well, John Jay, all I know is he's a virgal,
which makes him a perfectionist and a person who is
really caught by being you know, making it right and
doing things the way they're supposed to be doing it,
and therefore criticizes himself. That's what it would say that
he's got a harsh critic and always has to look good.
You just had a life changing era. What just happened?
Speaker 1 (02:50):
My wife had a hysterectomy last week? Does that matter?
Or do you mean more like a more about me?
Speaker 2 (02:55):
You had a what last week?
Speaker 1 (02:56):
My wife had a hysterectomy last week?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Oh yeah, is it con he just how did you
get related to that story?
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Oh? Well, I mean it's affected my life. She's lying
in bed and she can't do anything for six weeks.
So I'm just trying to.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Think of what that was the right answer. Has anything
occurred for you in the last year that you can
point at specifically.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
For you, uh something, Yes, But my sister tells me
to stop talking about it. I'm going to tell you
what it is. In nineteen ninety seven, I was interviewing
a psychic on my radio show and she said I
was gonna die at the age I'm at right now.
And my sistant, yeah, so that that's so, that's kind
of been. It's been on my mind a lot. My
sister thinks that I have to stop talking about it
(03:34):
because I'm going to make it come true.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
You've been on a health journey.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah, I've never maybe you read about me recently in
the New York Post for my health journey.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Well that's why I'm talking about things. Who threw that in? John?
You've had a health journey? That's exactly what I was
looking at.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
That's right, Jenny. Yeah, is that what you look at?
Is that what it says, like I've been on it?
Am I doing? It?
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Says you're going to live a very long life. So
here goes The psychic goes out the one room and
the astralger comes in the other, and we're changing everything
into your honor of your sister.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
You know what, I'm going to take that and I'm
gonna start using you from now on. I'm gonna be like, well,
the strologers said I'm to live a long life. My
sister's gonna be so happy that you said that, Deborah,
that's so great.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
We don't want to believe in those wooloo people. Okay,
tell me someone else's birthdate. Okay, Kyle, you're the peacemaker?
Can you relate to that? Are you the ones that
make everybody happy all the time?
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Yes, And that you have to and that you have
to make sure things are balanced and you hate when
things are unfair. That's the simple version. Yes, Oh so
you have this is Kyle. You have such mothering instincts.
So not only are you a peacemaker, but you want
everyone to feel like they've been taken care of. You're
going to have a really good turkey day. You're the
(04:43):
girl that really likes to have people around and give
them all something yummy. Aren't you the caretaker in the family? Yeah,
well one of them.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
We've got a few, but yeah, I would say so.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
But see see how the lever is. They don't want
to be just the only one. They want to include everyone.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yeah that's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
That's live time right here in front of us. You
have the definite gift of being connected to people that
you're family members, and you become the glue that makes everybody.
So Thanksgiving must be one of your favorite holidays. I
love all the holidays.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
I just like that.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
But I do.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
I love like all the holidays day. I mean, Easter
is my absolute favorite holiday. But I but I just
love being with the family.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Colors, of course, because our.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Lord is resurrected. Is that why or all the colors?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Let's all talk at one time?
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Ready, she said, a double libra, which I don't know that.
I don't know what that means.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
That means that you're making decisions. Is the worst thing
in the whole world. For you to think about it
and talk about it and ask everybody's opinion. And by
that point you're exhausted.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
You see her ordering dinner.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
It takes forever, exactly.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
All right, Let's go with Leo's.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
And have you ever had your chart done? Every Leo
should have their chart done?
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yes, I have had my chart done.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Why do you know your chart? No?
Speaker 4 (06:12):
I know it's I think I'm like, I think I'm
Scorpio and there's somewhere maybe I don't know, Pisces in there.
Maybe I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Here, I'm gonna find out. That's that's my specialty. So
and what made you get your chart done?
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I was just curious. I was on the coastarf.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Oh see, this is the new thing for this generation.
It used to be when I was growing up. It
was a weird thing being an astrologer, and now it's
become semi normal, or at least interesting. That's what I
should say. I don't know if it's normal the right word.
You are okay, Yes, you're right. You were right. You're
scorpio rising. So you have the gift of being able
(06:51):
to detect when someone's not telling the truth. You're one
of those lighte detectors that we can't catch from our
body goes. You can't lie to Peyton, everybody, wake up?
Is that true? Don't you feel when people are npting
authentic in your body goes bet bet beep, beep beep.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
I can spot a fake bitch a mile away, yes,
before I have.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
And I don't let him close.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Yes. And you're like the light detector. So you're a
psychologist in disguise. Your gift is being able to sneak
into people's psyches and being able to see through them.
You would be a great student for astrology. And I'm
teaching a school starting in January. It's only six weeks long.
You would be a perfect candidate, Peyton, because you're always
steering at people.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
I have a staring problem.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
I did you know what? She actually hosts a segment
on our show where she does zodiac signs, She reads
predictions and stuff. She's good at that. Really Yeah, yeah,
So I wonder if you're.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Trying to tell you, Peyton, you're my girl. Yes, if
you want to come study what you just go to
my website. I'm telling you the truth six weeks long.
At the end, you're detective. Your little sneaky self is
going to have language and intuition and be able to
talk to me.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
That'd be cool and healing.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
You've got a natural healer in you. Of the group,
you're the one that cries when no one's looking.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
I also cry when everyone's watching.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Hey, Deborah, does astrology work for people who don't believe
in astrology?
Speaker 2 (08:14):
That's the name of my book. I don't believe in astrology.
Alogy works for everyone you don't. You don't have to
believe in astrology. It believes in you. And that's why
I name the book. I don't believe in astrology because
so many people don't believe in it because it got
left behind. But the truth is it's an ancient, timeless,
oldest science on Earth, and it has these healing properties
where all of a sudden you understand how quirky you are,
(08:37):
because I can guarantee all of you are quirky. There's
no one on Earth that doesn't have a strange personality.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
That's true, Deborah, I would like to follow up with
the Peyton think So if she was to take the
class of for six weeks, is it once a week?
Is it three times a week?
Speaker 2 (08:49):
And how once a week there's only ten people in
the room and they're studying your chart. So it's once
a week, ten people your chart comes up, and it's
for beginners who don't believe it astrology.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
And how long is a class?
Speaker 2 (09:02):
And the class is two hours and at the end
of the class two and two and a half hours.
At the end of every class, you get one small
piece of what the chart's about. So it starts with
the elements and the quality of your personality type In
the second class is how your mind is so screwy
because everybody's got a mind that's taken them down the
wrong street. And then you have to be able to
(09:22):
become aware, like, oh my god, why am I having
that stupid thought? And then the next class is all
about your shadow. This is a psychological part, Payton, What
power of us? Do we keep the secret? And why
are we judging ourselves when no one's looking? Oh?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Really?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
And then the last class is the life lesson what
was the purpose of you coming to earth? And what
are you supposed to be learning? So it's very succinct
and it's really fun.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Okay, but let me ask you this. But when she's
done with the class, whoever's done with the class, are
they do they get a certification? Are they something like?
Can she then say now that she's an astrologer, astrologist
or astronomer?
Speaker 2 (09:57):
The second you have to take two more asses to
get certified, but yes you can. At the end of
the first class, you are just getting the potato chip bag.
That's what I tell everybody, and you can't stop eating.
It's like you get so interested. But the end of
the first class is just enough to be interested and
get some hard information that's practical. The second class you
can do readings, and you can be an astrologer and
(10:18):
you can get paid. So it doesn't take long because
I teach it in such simple format because I like
to tickle people. I hate when things are boring. I
don't think you guys do boring.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Now, wouldn't that be amazing if you got that.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Girl, Peyton. That's why I'm on the show today. You're
going to come take the school. It's in January. You
just go to info at Debra Silverman Astrology. So it's
just it's info at three words, Debra Silverman Astrology. And
you say I was on the radio. My name is Peyton,
and Debra said, I can do this class and then
I will back into it we have. Yeah, it's such
a fun idea because, honest to God, right at the end,
(10:56):
in the second class, you will be able to do readings.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
I promise oka validation to when she does the read
Every morning she does readings and she's just you know,
getting them and researching them. But the fact that she
has the credibility to do it will take this show
to a whole new level. Deborah, that's fantastic, baby.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
And today the moon's in a query is it's so
perfect that we're talking about.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Now, will you wave there? You wave the fee? Deborah?
Do you waive the fee for Peyton?
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I give her such a deal? Am I going to
give you a deal? Now?
Speaker 3 (11:28):
When she does this, will she be able to kind
of give the same information as you would give so
she will be on the level where the information won't
be contradictory to astrology in general.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Oh, by the time she finishes, if she takes the
two classes, by the time she's done, she will have
the right to be able to pretend like she's an astrologer.
There is no certification in real life. I have eight
thousand students have gone through my school, and I have
produced I have produced really successful astrologers. But it does
it's a lifelong study. I've been doing this for fifty years.
(12:01):
It doesn't it so interesting?
Speaker 3 (12:03):
It sounds so young ever ever born?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
I sound so young. But if you saw it, I
looked like just kidding you. If you give yourself permission
to believe in magic, magic occurs. And that is the
nature of taking a class. Because what you're saying is
my mind is open enough to let myself one study.
I call it wind dex. Like you clean out all
the dust in your head and then two you get
(12:27):
to fall in love with yourself.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Well I think that's great. Now what about us as
a group before we wrap up? Because we are four
quirky people. How does that work? This soup that we
have together? What do we need to watch out for?
What is our strength?
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Well? One thing is you can all talk? Oh really?
So the communication, the communication style that you all have
of being fast and alert and perky is what creates
good relationships. Just making sure we tell the truth and
we ask hard questions. And that's what you guys are
all doing. But when you put a Virgo, Pisces Libra,
and Leo in a room together, you can be sure
that Kyle's gonna go are you okay? And Peyton's going
(13:03):
to go, I have a great idea. And then John's
going to say, listen, we got to get this thing grounded.
And Rich is like, wow, I'm going to bring Deborah
Silverman on a radio sho are you guys open to that?
Because I've got mercury and Aquarius?
Speaker 1 (13:13):
And then everybody said yes, that okay. Deborah Silverman.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Real story. First thing in the.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Morning, Deborah Silverman dot com is that the website it's.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Deborah Silverman Astrology. It's three words, Deborah Silverman Astrology dot com. Yes,
go to my site and watch my videos and it's
all free. And I'm so grateful that we had this
opportunity when the moon wasn't Aquarius and it was time
to talk about.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
WHOA You're the best, Deborah. Great to talk to you again.
Thanks for taking your time so early in the morning,
your time.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Rich than appreciate you seven, but it was actually six. Okay, Aloha.
I'm sending aloha from a Hello. Aloha,
