that these guys know the market, they have market expertise. So thanks to

(00:23):
the guidance of the Rob Kittold team, the family was able to well.
They listed their property and they alreadyhad six offers on the very first weekend.
Not only that, but they alsowent under contract for above the listing
price. That's why they recommend RobKittle and the Kittle team for all their
real estate needs. All your realestate needs, you got to call Rob

(00:45):
Kittle. By the way, RobKittle's what I would call if I was
going to sell the house of Lakeytoday. He's my guy, He's my
friend and again my guy if Iwas going to sell the house of Lakey.

(01:29):
Rob Kittle dot com. Be sureto tell him that Jimmy Lakey is talking
about him on the radio. Allright, let me bring into the comation
Economic Policy Innovation Center Executive vice presidentBrittany Mednie on the hotline. We bring
Brittany into the program. I wantto talk about these protests that seemingly just
keep growing on these college campuses acrossAmerica. Brittany walking to the program.

(01:55):
How are you, hey, Demmy, I'm well, thanks so much for
having me on Economic Policy Innovation Center. First of all, before we get
to the topic, I'll let yougive a plug. What is the Economic
Policy Innovation Center? Yeah? Thanks, Jimmy. The Economic Policy Innovation Center,
or EPIC as we call ourselves,is no nonprofit think tink out in

(02:15):
Washington, DC. We do conservativepublic policy. We offer Congress practical policy
solutions to advance of free and prosperousAmerica. We focus on budget and economic
issues. So if your tax dollarsare being spent on it, we're looking
into it. Again. The voiceof Brittany Menney, she's the Economic Policy

(02:36):
Innovation Center Executive VP. Let's talkabout these protests that are having over the
weekend. You have students at moreHouse University down to Atlanta. Joe Biden,
the president walks on the stage, they turn their backs to him,
and then they walk out of commencementservices. You have these anti Semitic protests
that have been shutting down to somecommencement services, shutting down classes. Protesters

(02:59):
are demonstrating saying they're pro Hama, saying we're pro terrorists. The problem is,
I guess people have the right tofree speech and demonstrate the way they
want to. But a lot ofthese protesters, a lot of these universities
are taxpayer funded. We're paying forthese little hoodlums to express their opinion all
the time, whether it's turning theirback on the president or shutting down their

(03:21):
classes with protests in tense cities.Give me your thoughts. These are federal
grants, federal tax dollars, andthis is what it's going to Yeah,
absolutely, Jimmy, listen. I'mfor free speech, all right, I'm
in the merit. I believe inthe commitment to free speech. But this
isn't free speech. This is anangry, intolerant mob that is violent in
several instances, refusing to allow othersbased on religion, race, and difference

(03:46):
of opinion to be safely on campuses. This is about protecting American values.
The research that I did at EPICSis specifically focused on Columbia University. So
those are the numbers I'm going toyou today. But just note this is
happening all across the country. It'shappening at every major public institution, academic

(04:06):
university that says it's a research institution. So this is Columbia, Yale,
Harvard, all these schools out inCalifornia. If it's a big school that
does research with a major endowment, the story is the same. And Columbia.
Again, that's the numbers I'm goingto give you today. They have
eight hundred and forty five million dollarsof federal taxpayer dollars just in active grants

(04:31):
from the NIH, the National Instituteof Health. They have five hundred and
thirteen million dollars from the National ScienceFoundation. So taxpayer dollars of the to
the tune of one point four billiondollars are going straight to Columbia University.
Joe Biden is bankrolling them, andColumbia it's not just allowing anti temotism to

(04:54):
fester on campus, they're actively supportingit. They exist and this elitist,
woke dei academic bubble and it's notodd with American values, but it's being
paid for by American tax dollars. The voice of Brittany Medny, she's the
Economic Policy Innovation Center executive vice president. She has a piece in real clear

(05:17):
politics that we can link to onthe social sites here in just a bit.
But you did the study of thedollars given to Columbia University, and
I'm sure this is a rinse andrepeat story of all these other universities that
again, the kids can have allthe free speech they want, but when
you become pro terrorist and your freespeech, are shutting down commencement and chasing

(05:40):
Jews off the campus, then wemay have a problem. And you argue
that Congress needs to take action. If the administration, the Department of Education,
if the bureaucrats aren't going to takeaction, it's time for Congress to
get off their low rolls and actuallydo something to stop funding this nonsense.
Absolutely, I couldn't agree with youmore. And here's to say, it's
not just the kids, it's theadministration, and it's the professors too.

(06:03):
I mean at Columbia there are overone hundred professors who sided with these pro
coot terrorists who have taken over thecampus. Of the funding they're getting from
the federal government from taxpayers, sixtyfour point five percent of that goes to
overhead. What is overhead? Yourguess is as good as mine, Jimmy.

(06:24):
It's completely untracked. And then whatis tracked doesn't match American values either.
For example, at Columbia right now, ninety five thousand dollars is being
spent on a study to decide whetheror not transgender eleven year olds are fat
chained. Ninety five thousand dollars comingout of your American listener's pockets. It's

(06:45):
absurd. This is part of alarger system at play. The federal government
spends and spends and spends on theseuniversities so that they can do their pet
research projects, and then those projectswould just shock you. But you know,
if you back out, what you'reseeing is that this is a problem
with the far left and Joe Bidencatering to them. It's just absurd.

(07:06):
So what should we do? Answeryour question? Shut it down. There's
no reason for Congress to allow thefunding going to these universities anymore. We
need to stop the funding, andwe need to track the dollars. If
morals aren't going to work, thanthe dollars well, and most of these
universities you mentioned have huge, multibazillion dollar endowments anyway, So why we're

(07:28):
giving them taxpayer dollars? You haveto ask yourself. The question makes no
sense because they can afford to doanything they want to do on their own
dime, but instead they come withopen hand to the US taxpayer. Bring
me. Folks want to read thepiece, it's a real clear politics.
If they want to learn more aboutyou economic policy Innovation Center, where do
they go? You can find uson x at EPIC for America. That's

(07:51):
where you're going to get my personalspicy takes. If you want the research,
the hard numbers, the data, find us online www. Dot EPIC

Center. She's the executive vice presidentof Britney Medney Britney Pressed A pleasure to

(08:13):
up the piece from Real Clear Politics. You have to ask yourself and we
got all this chaos going on inthese campuses and why are we paying for
these campuses again, whether it's JerrySeinfeld or Joe Biden, or whoever speaks
of the commencement service, if youdon't like the speaker, stay your little
butt home or go somewhere else.Go to take the family that chilis.
Don't walk across the stage. Stopdisrupting the commencement services. Have some dignity

(08:37):
about you. If you're at MorehouseUniversity in Atlanta, you don't like Joe
Biden, Hey I'm not a hugefan either, but shut the hell up
and go to the graduation ceremony.Stop ruining the moment for everybody else that
may not bother it. It maynot be, it may not mind the
speaker again, not my favorite speaker. But you're at a commencement service and

(08:58):
it doesn't have to be all aboutyou, you little mindful of mush.
It's not about you. Your familyought to smack you down, and other
families got to smack you down forinterrupting a commencement service. Again, it
was a horrible speech by Joe Biden. But if you're going to be in
a taxpayer funded university and then decideto raise or ruckus with your cap and
gown and turn your back on thepresident of the United States, then shame

(09:22):
on you. Keep your butt awayfrom the commencement services. You decided to
go to that university that had thesepeople that invited a speaker. Yeah,
again, it's a bad speech byJoe Biden. But these little jack wagons
at Morehouse University that stood up andturned their back on him and walked out.
You have little punks, You havea little jack I gotta take a
