Good to have you here on theradio show. Let me walk home
into the program if I may.I guess it has been with us before,
(01:26):
but I want to get his expertise. His name is Cameron Hamilton,
former Navy seal combat veteran, formerdivision director at the Homeland Security Office,
and he's also seeking to continuous serviceof his country in Virginia's seventh congressional district
(01:46):
in the US House of Representatives.Camera Cameron Hamilton on the hotline. Cameron,
good morning, sir, how areyou hey? Good morning. Thank
you so much for having me.Youre four. I appreciate you coming on
your former name Republican congressional candidate. But that Navy seal experience, I think
is going to add some different depthof this conversation about this, the president,
(02:09):
the Foreign Minister of Iran go downin a blaze and a helicopter and
for some reason, our US governmentsays that, hey, we give our
condolences to you. You're the butcherof Baghdad, you're the butcher of Tehran,
but hey, our condolences. Helpme understand that that's got hurt the
(02:29):
military over there that has First ofall, the Americans have lost their lives
at the hand of the butcher bagDad, and the soldiers have risked their
lives all the things that we've done, and know that Iran is the opposition,
what does it do to focus onthe ground floor and on the front
line when they hear that the USgovernment gives their condolences to Iran when the
butcher Bagdad dies. Yeah, Itotally agree. I think this is an
(02:53):
absolute disgrace. Publicly, It's onething to say that diplomatically we want to
show difference or consideration into nations whichhas lost you know, key leaders.
That definitely puts a strain on certainyou know, negotiations or conversations. But
this is absolutely an evil human being. Not only that, but the United
(03:13):
Nations stood up and had a momentof silence to commemorate the loss of this
public leader. Our you know statementis basically, you know, showing grace
and remorse for the people who aremourning the loss of this man. He
was not a good man. I'msorry. He was an absolute error and
he's butchered. He's been a butcherto the Iranian people as well. So
I completely agree. This is whatyou have with rhetoric of this administration.
(03:38):
It's impossible for them to say thatthey're not cozy to Iran when they when
they behave like this, and it'sit flies in the face of so many
great men and women of service whohave out obviously fought for this country overseas
and and still continue to do so. It's also amazing that you have an
organization like the United Nations, youhave the US government that would say that
they're pro women's rights. There's beenno one that has been worse on human
(04:00):
rights and the chastity laws where theyhit jobbed just the way that women are
treated there. For that, forthat alone, we should be condemning this
man, the lack of dignity thathe espouses to women, and yet we
have a moment of silence. Wefund the United Nations where their taxpayer dollars
were the largest funder of that organization. It just baffling that that's where my
(04:24):
tax dollars are going so that wecan give honor and accolades to the butcher
of Bagdad. It just baffles me. All while we all claim that we
want to stand there for women's rights. Yeah, I totally agree. This
is just laughable. It would bemore laughable if it wasn't also so pathetic
at the same time. And sothere's no consistency that we find with the
(04:45):
thought here other than they're trying toplay politics and they're trying to garner sympathy
and support from some of the mostradical elements of the Democratic base. This
shouldn't be a political issue, butit's become one, and it's really it's
quite grotesque. So I agree thisis not consider with us forign policy,
and it's completely different from what wehad for a long period of time.
It's the same policy. Well,it's the same party that out there that
(05:06):
says a women should be able tohave an abortion up until like the time
of birth or maybe even after birth, and that's the same party in America.
But hey, we're okay with theIranian women not being able to drive
a car leave the house without theirspouse. I mean, well, you
know, women in America, youget a special You get to have an
abortion at any time you want to. But you women in Iran shut up
(05:28):
and know your place and stay inthe house, and you better. It's
the hypocrisy and the lack of unwillingnessto be consistent is almost disgusting in anybody
ought to find it laughable to justrecognize the inconsistencies of the of the bid
administration and the party here. Womenin America abortion anytime you want. Women
in Iran stay locked up, orwill beat you down. And it's okay,
(05:50):
it's pathetical. Yeah, I totallyI totally agree. And that's why
I love the quote. If itwasn't for double standards, the political left
would have no standards. Right now. They're just there again trying to They're
trying to tiptoe with radicals because theybelieve that there's a carrot at the end
of the stick. Here. Inreality, this is just it's monstrous and
(06:11):
it's awful, and the American peopledeserve better. And I really don't think
that this administration fully understands how much. He's made our public office, in
the Office of the Presidency, justa national embarrassment. Several years ago,
under the Obama administration, there wasa movement in Iran to overthrow the radical
government that they have. They gotsquelched. We didn't support that movement back
(06:33):
then. What do you know aboutthe atmosphere now that they have a president
that's dead thankfully and like God sorthim out. Now that they have kind
of a vacancy of leadership, isthere any hope in Iran that maybe a
new type of regime will pop up. There's a possibility. Iran's really they
(06:53):
have a difficult road to head. They've been stymied as their economy has for
for quite a while now. Inrecent years, the Biden administration has allowed
them to have access to funds thatthe traditionally didn't have, that were secured
in banks and unaccessible. Now thatthey are, they've made some investments,
but they're again their private sector, they're housing, their infrastructure is critically behind
(07:15):
other international partners and other Middle Easternpartners. So they have a difficult road.
And again you bring him to Rezziwas absolutely a terror. They'll either
go one of two ways. Inmy opinion, Will they're a point someone
more moderate in hopes to quell someof the dissension, or they'll appoint someone
with also a strong hand and theymight have another cue here in the next
couple of years. It will beinteresting what role can America In your estimation,
(07:40):
you're running for Congress and you mayget to speak into some of this
foreign policy and funding of this foreignpolicy. What role can American play at
this transition to transmittory time in Iran, what role can America do well
play and what should we be doingright now? In your estimation? Well,
look, I don't think the UnitedStates should be getting involved in assisting
(08:01):
coups in other countries. I thinkthat that's a slippers slope to go down,
and I think that we've had ahyper interventionalist kind of mindset over the
past you know, twenty or thirtyyears, especially with the War on Terror.
Having said that, I think weshould be very clear in the principles
that we espouse. Our nation upholdsthat every individual has God given rights and
that it's our national government's policy toensure that those rights are upheld. We
(08:24):
should have no problem advocating for thatinternationally as well. So I think we
still need the Levy sanctions against Iran. I think we still need to ensure
that they're opposed. I think westill need to ensure that the other coalition
of Western friendly nations or nations thatare targeted by them, and to include
many of our of our Middle Easternpartners that also hate Iran. I think
(08:46):
we need to make sure that they'rebeing properly represented and that we garner the
right partnerships to create an environment towhich Iran sees it as economically viable to
pursue another pathway forward. They're engagingin radicalism, why well, because as
it pays, and because it setsthem up to be antithetical to us so
that they can sell all to China. I think we need to pursue another
(09:07):
mean so that Aroan sees it asin their financial best interest to engage in
normalization of relationships and to give upthis radical gihad. Cameron Hamilton, former
Navy seal Republican congressional candidate from Virginia'sseventh congressional district. Cameron, and folks
want to learn more about you, maybe jump behind and support your campaign for
Congress. How do they do that? I'd be absolutely honored. It's about
(09:31):
we the people. Please go toCameron Hamilton dot com again, that's Cameron
Hamilton dot com. It's about people, not politics. You got it,
my friend. Thanks for hopping onthe program, Cameron Hamilton. Go to
his website checking out and maybe givea little support to that campaign. We
need good guys like him in thehollowed halls of Congress that have a clear
understanding of what we face around theglobe and issuing condolences about the Iranian president
(09:56):
and foreign the Iranian president dying, the butcher bagdad again, think just think
of that, the hypocrisy here ofhow women are treated in Iran and under
his authority, and he actually hastitan clamps on women in recent years.
And yet we're saying, oh,we're so sorry that the guy passed away.
Now we're not sorry the guy passedaway. Women should be celebrating his
(10:18):
death and let God sort out hiseternal reward. But instead we say we
give great condolences. Women in America, you can have an abortion up until
the time of whenever you want,no problem. But women in Baghdad shut
up and let the Iranian butcher takekill you. That's what's been happening,
(10:39):
all right, I got to takea break. Laky on the radio,
Jimmy Lakey News Talk, six hundredcase col come on, say that with
me. The best radio voices practiceagain. Six hundred K Cool stand by
