Arguments in the Trump trial or underway. Everybody's hanging out by television right,
ask if anybody really even follow Imean, I know people follow it.
They follow it every night Handity orCNN or somebody's got a guest on them.
But as far as average citizens outoutside of the average pundits, I
have not found anybody. Literally,I've not found anybody. We've got friends

(00:22):
that are right, left center andindifferent, but I've not found anybody out
there that's following this thing with anyyeah, with any great No, they're
just not doing it. It's quiteinteresting in my humble, humble opinion.
All right, good to have youhere on the radio show. Jimmy is
my name, and I hope youdid well. I hope you're all doing
fantastic out there. I want towalk into the program if i'm may miss

(00:44):
Megan Barth. She's the editor inchief of the Nevada Globe dot com.
Of course, for years we talkedabout her and her activities at Reaganbabe dot
com, but the Nevada Globe dotcom is one of her primary sites.
Now, Megan Barth, It's MeganMonday, except we're doing it on a
Tuesday walk of the show. Yeswe are. I thank you so much.
Good to be here. Have youbeen watching it? And I know
you've got friends all over the country. Are you watching this thing? I

(01:07):
mean, the pundits are, thenews is covering it, But just the
average Joe citizen out there, I'mjust not sensing a lot of passion about
it all. I mean, thosewho hate Trump hate Trump, those who
love Trump love Trump. I'm justnot sensing a lot of just interest in
it. No. Actually, theonly person that I've really seen so interested
in it is the Biden campaign, especially when they trot out Robert de Niro

(01:34):
today on the court steps to youknow, Warren Americans that if Trump wins
the presidency, He's never going toleave the office, and the earth is
going to you know, burn, and you know it's going to be doomsday.
And so you know that this campaignhas excuse me, this trial rather
is political. You would not havethe Biden campaign involved on the courtroom step

(02:00):
trotting out an unhinged Democrat like RobertDemiro to make unfounded allegations, you know,
as the jury is convening to maketheir decision. You know, however,
I think I said to you before, and I'll say it again because
it gets worth repeating. The lastplace I would want to be for a
trial by a jury of my quoteunquote peers would be in New York City.

(02:24):
But that's exactly why and where thesecharges were drummed up against President Trump.
And it's also worthy reminder that thesecharges were never felonies until Alvin Bragg
had to change the law and increasein this demeanor to a felony in order
to prosecute Trump. So no,I don't think anyone's really paying attention to

(02:46):
this trial. I think the onlypeople paying attention to this trial are somebody
is somebody like Joe Biden who haspolitical stakes on the line. He was
receiving some comment over the weekend.I guess his White House has said that
once the results of the trial areknown, he will in from the White
House because he says it's not political, he will make a comment and speak

(03:07):
to the nation regarding the results ofthe trial as they forthcome. Come give
me your thoughts on this, thatJoe Biden's going to make a speech from
the White House once he hears theresults of the trial. Yeah, and
again, it just points to thefact that this is a political trial.
This has nothing to do with theletter of the law. These charges should

(03:28):
have never been brought in the firstplace. The judge is obviously very compromised.
There's been plenty reported about how thejudge should have, at least a
minimum recused himself. But whenever youhave a Democrat political activist posing as a
judge in a robe or a lawyer, they never recuse themselves. So here
we are, and you know, the jury, if Himbly does not need

(03:50):
to be unanimous in their decision, you could have one juror with the who
believes Robert de Niro is right. And also the jury was never clusard.
So yeah, I don't understand howanyone could be rooting for a guilty verdict
in this trial when the trial shouldhave never seen the light of day.
Yeah, well, you know, there's that Trump derangement syndrome, and its

(04:13):
been it's been interestig again watching CNN. They're like, yeah, this is
in a normal venue. This hasnot gone well for the prosecution, but
they all kind of admit that sinceit's in New York, maybe you don't
have to have a perfect game inorder to get whatever they've been wanting.
A conviction. We shall see MeganBarth. It's always a pleasure to have
you here. What else you've beenwatching in the news this weekend, and
know you're always watching the news andseeing things that are happening out there.

(04:36):
As you put together the Nevada Globedot Com. What else has caught your
attention? Well, we have alot going on here in Nevada. We
have a US Senate race which isgoing to boil down to I'm not sure
who's going to make it out ofthe GOP primary, but Jackie Rosen is
our state senator. She's the firstterm incumbent, She's a Democrat. She's

(04:58):
going to be facing one of Iwould say two challengers. One is Trump's
former ambassador to Iceland, Jeff Gunter, and the other is Captain Sam Brown.
So this is a big fight forcontrol of the US Senate, as
it was in twenty twenty two whenRepublican challenger Adam Laxalt lost to Catherine Quartez
Maasso by less than one percent. It was less than eight thousand votes.

(05:23):
So you know, Nevada is onthe map as it always is. It's
a swing state, and you knowwe will see if we swing the state
towards a Republican advantage for the firsttime in quite some time. One last
quick question pulling numbers been out there. They remained that Nevada has a Trump
has like a double digit lead.I think right now he did not win
in twenty sixteen Nevada, he didnot win twenty twenty. Give me your

(05:46):
thoughts. Are these polls accurate andare they going to stick? You know,
it's really hard to say, AndI've refused to publish polls this year
because I published a lot of pollsin twenty twenty two which showed a red
way and it was not even closeto a red trickle. So it really
depends on the poll. It reallydepends on the demographics of the poll,
you know, how wide, whythe demographics are, how many people within

(06:11):
that So it's really hard to say. But I would say that due to
the fact that that Nevadas are facingtwenty one thousand dollars an extra inflation costs
since Joe Biden became president, youknow, showing the Trump lead is not
surprising. Yeah. Megan Barnevadaglobe dotCom, Thenevada Globe dot Com editor in
chief, and also Reagan babe,Megan. Great to talk to you on
