eight five five one hour. All right, good to have
you here on the radio show Let's switch gears here
in just for a slide moment. There's interesting story has
(01:46):
popped up that there are some states that are not
very happy with what's happening in Washington, d C. In
regards to the government spending money to give healthcare Obamacare
to illegal immigrants, and the GOP states have come together
and decided to sue the Biden administration. I want to
walk them into the program to comment on set story.
(02:08):
Is the author of a book called The Total State,
How liberal democracies become Tyrannies. It's Arn McIntyre on the hotline.
Are in, Welcome back to the show.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Thanks for having me.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Let's dive into this thing. The Total State is a
book you've written, talks about America authoritarianism and the same
system of liberal democracy that we say, and how we're
changing America. It's a warning, but let's go to this
story here changing America. People coming flooding across our southern border,
and all of a sudden, the taxpayers. The government is
(02:39):
fund about the taxpayers. We're on the dole for all
of their healthcare, and some GOP governors have said enough
is enough.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, it's about time. We need to understand that open
borders are not some kind of mistake. It's not some
natural disaster. It's a politicy decision that the Biden administration
and assumably the Kamala Herricks administration would continue, God forbid
if that happen. And they're doing this for a reason. Ultimately,
they recognize that if they can continue to move a
large number of people who are politically beholden to them
(03:09):
into the country. Under a democratic mechanism, they're eventually going
to offset the vote of those that disagree with them.
So why convince people, Why make a better argument when
you can just import new voters who have already been
bought into the system because you're doing things like offering
them healthcare they couldn't get anywhere else. And so it's
about time for Republican governor's Republican attorneys to understand that
(03:31):
they have to take action to push back against this.
Legal action is absolutely essential if you're going to stop
this continuous building of an illegitimate voter base.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
The voice of Aaron McIntyre his book has called the
Total State. We'll get to that here in just a moment.
All right, let me dive into another topic here with you,
if I may. We've been watching the last year year
and a half. There's been a lot of even liberal
papers and magazines saying that for the good of the
country back in the day, Kamala harrishould step down as
a VP. They needed to be her safety net in
(04:00):
case Joe couldn't make it. I mean, she has been
thoroughly disgraced over the past many years, very unpopular even
among the Democrats, and all of a sudden, all of
a sudden, we see this rebranding. I heard it said
that she's been relaunched or rebranded out there more times
than the McRib has been at McDonald's. I heard somebody
say that, and I said, well, that's probably true. She's
(04:22):
been brought out fresher at more times in the McRib.
What are we watching here? She's on the cover of
Time magazine and there it's almost like Mother Mary has
come back incarnate. And again a year ago there she
was a disgrace and they're trying to chase her off
the Democrat ticket.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
So we have this really amazing dynamic inside the American system,
one in which we basically have a distributed progressive oligarchy
that wants to hide power. They don't want to actually
take any accountability for the things they do, and so
they throw people like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris who are
completely in nept can't really be blamed in anything at
the end of the day, and if anything does stick, well,
(05:00):
who cares. These people are disposable, as we saw with Biden.
Just change it out for the new model, right, who cares?
Now Harris is in the situation, like you said, where
she is incredibly embarrassing. She was pushed to the back
of the Biden administration the entire time because it was
recognized once she got into that position, how she was
just a failure and no one was ever going to
appreciate her being in the successor to kind of this
(05:21):
democratic legacy. But now you have the scenario where Biden
had to be kind of shuffled out quicker than they wanted.
And sorry, he had to be shuffled out quicker than.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
The Oh you're here, go ahead, I'm.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Sorry, Yeah, my phone was failing me there. But they
had to push Biden out faster than they wanted. And
what happened is they need to relaunch her. They need
to push her to the forefront because she was selected
because she checked so many of these now progressive identity
politics requirements. She was the winner of the thei Olympics,
and they can't just push her aside now, So you
have to completely manufacture scenario in which she is a
(05:57):
very compelling candidate.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
The voice of Aaron McIntyre. Are you talk about some
of these topics in your book, and you kind of
pick up about the arrival of the COVID nineteen in
which the authoritarians out there, partnered by the media, really
kind of drove a narrative. And we're just seeing that
it seemingly more and more that there's a talking point,
(06:22):
there's a narrative, and everybody's got to kind of pick
up on it, whether it's about a particular candidate or
a pandemic or what have you. The other day everybody
said these rallies with Kamala Harris are so full of joy.
I mean, all of a sudden joy is the word
all through the media. It sack. When George W. Bush
was president, he picked Dick Cheney, every media out there
used the word, that's a pick that has gravitas. Hey
(06:44):
all get the talking points. I think we're being played here,
and I think this is a little bit of what
your books about.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Absolutely one of the things the Democrats are one hundred
percent relying on is that pagemonic narrative that media control.
Part of my book, The Total State is explaining how
critical propaganda is for a ruling class that wants to
manipulate the popular sovereignty, the public opinion. That is supposed
to validate our political structures in a liberal democracy, and
(07:13):
so what the lift has really banked on, especially with
Kamala Harris, is the idea that even though she is
relatively unlikable, she can basically run against her own record,
against Joe Biden's own record by saying, oh, well, you know,
I'm gonna fight suddenly, I'm gonnacide to lock down the
border all of a sudden, I care about inflation and
home prices and these kind of things. She can switch
(07:34):
the tone because she knows that at the end of
the day of the media is never going to hold
her accountable. They have this constant ability to deliver this
propaganda across news media, social media, education, academia, all these
different domains, and what they really expect is to be
able to just drown out the past. It's kind of
like nineteen eighty four, but instead of rewriting the past,
we just make sure that so much new information flows
(07:55):
across people that they completely lose any context for what's
been happening.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Arren McIntyre, author of a book called The Total State,
how liberal democracy has become tyrannies, and he talks about
the censorship the lockdowns, riots that have happened, political persecution.
It's all in the book if you want to kind
of have a better understanding of what where we're at,
where we've been, where we're going. Rn McIntyre author of
a book called The Total State, How Liberal Democracy has
(08:20):
Become Tyrannies? Are you also? You're also a columnist for
the Blaze News and the host of the Arren McIntyre show.

Arn McIntyre pleasure, thanks for hopping on the program today.
And again the name of his book, the latest book
is called The Total State, How Liberal Democracy Has Become
Tyrannies And it's a it's really fascinating to watch the
news media. It's fascinating to look at what the same
papers were saying about a year ago versus what they
say now. It's just very fascinating. That's somewhere the talking
(09:10):
points come and the narrative gets carried out like good
little PROVDA agents. I'll be back here in just a moment.
Laky on the radio, six hundred k col Stick around.
More to come
