Speaker 1 (00:08):
Hi, everyone, It's Amanda Riga Green. Welcome to Soul Sessions,
and welcome to twenty twenty six. We've arrived, You've made it.
We're here, and I am thrilled to connect with you
for this year ahead. Thank you for joining me, thank
you for showing up. Let's dive in today as we
explore the energies of twenty twenty six, but primarily focus
(00:32):
in January, where there's a tremendous amount of opportunity on
a personal level to orient yourself forward and feel a
new kind of rhythm flow through your life. And I'm
going to set you up to really contemplate what that
feels and looks like for you, and then take the
(00:54):
practical action around that. So by the time you move
through January and January comes to a close, this first
month of a brand new cycle, a brand new year,
you feel a sense of pride, a sense of momentum
that maybe you haven't felt in quite some time. I
(01:18):
get it, I feel it, and I feel it for
all of us. A couple of things. One, I am
offering a workshop in January, and I'm thrilled about this.
It's kind of a three part deal. You can find
a link in the show notes in the podcast description
if you are interested. But this workshop is a voice
(01:40):
memo from me which goes through all of the astrology,
the numerology, and walks you through the month of January
step by step, piece by piece with insights and the
calendar mapping of the energetic cadence and rhythm. And there
is an accompanying worksheet that's like a guidebook worksheet that
(02:01):
helps you navigate personally your path and clarify that for you.
So you'll get the guidebook in the worksheet the private
voice memo, and then there is a live workshop and
you can either attend live or you can watch the replay,
and it is something you will be able to access.
But the details are in the show notes. And if
you're listening and you're like, Okay, I don't want to
(02:23):
just think about this year and start this year out
contemplating it and kind of in that lofty space, but
you really want to step in, this may be ideal
for you. So details are below, and I hope you
will join me. I'm really really excited about this and
pretty motivated and pumped up. All right, let's dive into January.
(02:44):
I'm going to give you three overarching themes that have
come through for the month of January, and we're going
to extrapolate the energy around each of those themes and
how you can think about it, apply it, and really
live it in January to see that shift within yourself
and around yourself take place as we step into this year.
(03:08):
And the three themes are centering, receiving outside help, and
challenging yourself. The centering is about finding your inner equilibrium.
The receiving or the receptivity receiving outside help is about
(03:29):
accepting guidance as part of your mainstay. And the challenging
yourself is about engagement, determined action. This is not about hustle.
And the funny thing is the energy of twenty twenty
six has a lot of and I'm using air quotes
(03:50):
if you're listening and not watching on YouTube, has a
lot of hustle energy, which is actually an illusion. And
that's an old Goic three dimensional linear way of interpreting productivity.
Worth value is hustle drive. If I get all this done,
if I accomplish all this, then I'm gonna be happy.
(04:12):
Then I'm gonna feel successful, achieve what I want. And
these three themes centering, receiving, and challenging yourself are not
about hustle. They are truly about living from the inside
out and seeing the external results unfold in a very
(04:33):
synergistic way. So let's talk a little bit about what's
coming through with centering. Centering is not grounding. Grounding is
a technique, so to speak, and you can ground, and
grounding is definitely important. I will ground. I hope you ground.
But this centering that I'm communicating to you is about
(04:54):
the identity you inhabit. It's about locating your internal tempo,
your internal rhythm, and it's the difference between what should
I do and what is my rhythm now? So think
about that, Oh, what should I do? How should I
(05:15):
respond to this? What do I need to get done?
All of these external oriented questions versus an internal oriented rhythm.
What do I feel now? And it's deeper than feeling,
it's more rhythmic. What feels comfortable in my own skin?
What is my body temperature? Asking of me? Centering is
(05:39):
the moment you stop living in response to the world
and start living in response to your signal, living in
alignment with your personal signal, and centering isn't so much
about stillness as it is about coherence. It's when you
can feel your yes yes or your no without explaining either.
(06:05):
And I'll give you an example of that personally. The
other day. It was a you know, it was holiday
time and there's a lot of things going on, lots
of moving parts, and I had a handful of things
on my schedule personally, professionally, holiday related, you know, just
the multitude of things that we juggle in day to
(06:26):
day life. And I had said yes to something and
committed the day prior, and then the day of arrived,
and as it arrived, there was this clear sense within
myself that I didn't want or need to go do
(06:47):
what I had committed to. And it wasn't about judgment
or anyone that was there, or or it being too
much on my plate. It was this inner knowing of
I think I need to remove that because it doesn't
fit like it doesn't fit within my day. And it
was quiet. It wasn't an astounding yes or no or
(07:12):
why I need to do this or why I don't
need to do it. There wasn't analysis. That's what I'm
sharing with you. It wasn't an analytical should I do this?
Maybe I should do this? How do I communicate this?
And that's how my brain works. I don't know about you,
but a lot of times in decision making that is
not discerning, there's analysis, and this was centering. It was
(07:34):
it was discerning, and it was that yes or no
without explaining either. It was just true. So I want
you to think about that inner voice that yes, it
does require some stillness, but more than that, it's about cohesion.
And I'm using your schedule in your day or my
schedule in my day as an example. But for twenty
twenty six, a centering question is what does this new site,
(08:00):
What does twenty twenty six feel like in my body?
In my skin? And if you need a practice to
accompany that, your sternum is a great place to go, meaning,
hand on your sternum and you can tap, you can
rub your sternum, but stand or sit tall, roll your
(08:22):
shoulders back, lift your chin up, align your spine, and
then gently touch your sternum, either massage it or tap it,
and just activate the sternum in the heart chakra area
for a moment, maybe twenty seconds, and then be still
and ask yourself, what does the energy today feel like
(08:45):
in my body? And come up with a word, and
a lot of times, for me, when I do something
like that, it feels like a smile from the inside out.
You know what it's like to smile with your whole being,
just it's like a beaming from the inside out. And
(09:06):
when I am coherent, it feels like a smile from
the inside out. And for me, when centering becomes true,
real lived in my life, it's when I make changes
(09:26):
or decisions in my day, in my schedule, in my
life that feel coherent. So think about how you can
center again and again this month. The second theme is
receiving outside help. And yes, it's lovely to seek assistance
(09:54):
and support from friends, family, trusted confidence advisors, coworkers, but
this isn't so much about receiving outside help and guidance
from friends, family, and people in your life. It is
more about engaging with the unseen and it's not so
(10:16):
much about asking a friend, but it's about stop pretending
that we are alone in this universe. And I think
that many of you, especially everybody listening on this podcast,
and that's a generalization, but I feel it and I
know it. Believe in outside help, the unseen forces, our
higher self our oversoul, God, the universe, nature, our guides,
(10:41):
our angels, the ascended masters, extra dimensional beings, whatever it
may be for you. This is the kind of outside
help that is available in the decade ahead, and January
sets the precedent, and January sets the precedent. So asking
(11:09):
for help and not it's not so much about pretending
we're alone, but forgetting that we're not alone, and outside help,
asking for guidance, support, outside help as part of your rhythm.
You're centering, even it's not about crisis, so to speak
(11:33):
and help me, it does require some specificity. It's more like,
show me what I need to prioritize this week. Bring
the right person in to help me with fill in
the blank, confirm the next step and make it obvious.
(11:55):
Show me fill in the blank. Bring this kind of support, help, assistance,
insight in confirm the next steps. And outside help requires reception, receptivity,
and I think receptivity starting out twenty twenty six, especially
in an energy that is very individualistic, very driven, very much.
(12:20):
I've got this, I am doing it, I am responsible
for I am I am, I am to remembering that
receptivity is part of the im and so being able
to receive outside help, which means sitting still, stop scrolling
long enough for your guides, the universe, God, your oversoul,
(12:43):
your support system to get the signal through. So asking, pausing, listening, noticing,
and this kind of help and receptivity is about wisdom.
It's not about weakness. It's about wisdom. It's receiving as
(13:04):
a skill. Think about that receptivity as a skill that
you want to implore in twenty twenty six. So making
your daily dialogue in asking for insight, guidance and support
and getting specific about it. Not a crisis hotline, but
(13:27):
a daily dialogue that becomes part of your rhythm for
twenty twenty six. And for me as of late, it's
been really stopping to listen to my guides. I have
a couple of guides that come in and have shown
up in the last couple of years, and they're becoming
(13:47):
unmistakable their signal, their energy, their imprint, and for me
to hear them clearly. First of all, I ask for
their support and guidance, and then I've pause long enough
to listen, to orient myself to receive and receiving isn't
just about what I'm sharing with you now as far
(14:09):
as asking for outside help, It's not solely about receptivity
with help, support and moving forward in an empowered way.
It's also about unblocking yourself from receiving that job you want,
greater health and well being, love, money, whatever it is.
Receptivity is really powerful, and this year is saying how
(14:33):
good are you at receiving as a skill. Think about that.
That's really something good to contemplate. Right. Thirdly, the last
theme is to challenge yourself. And I want to clarify
what I mean by challenging yourself. And this is the medicine,
like this is the elixir for twenty twenty six and
(14:56):
especially January. This is about re owning your creativity, your
creative juices, the part of you that is no longer
willing to outsource your authority any longer, because oftentimes, and
I've seen this in myself and I've seen it in others.
(15:18):
I think delegation and outsourcing is an amazing thing, and
it's very helpful when you want to be able to
do what is in your wheelhouse and allow others to
show up and offer support and resources. But sometimes we
can outsource so much that we end up outsourcing our
confidence our skill sets and our creative intimacy with our
(15:41):
own work. And I've seen this play out in my
life the last handful of years, and it was one
of those aha moments at the end of twenty twenty
five where for the last year or so, there has
been all this fear around rolling my sleeves up in
some of the details of my creativity and technical things
(16:04):
that I just hadn't had the bandwidth, time or energy
to do, and I had outsourced. But by outsourcing it,
I had really outsourced some of my own energy in
my work and my creativity and even my confidence. So
this kind of challenging yourself is the kind of challenging
yourself that rebuilds self trust. How can you rebuild your
(16:29):
self trust, trusting yourself, your confidence, your mojo by challenging yourself,
engaging in something maybe that you know you can do,
but it's going to take a little bit of time,
a little bit of energy, a little bit of mental
or fortitude. But this isn't about adding stress as a challenge.
(16:51):
It's adding a liveness like challenging yourself where you feel engaged, enriched,
and alive again. It's not about overwhelming. It's about reclaiming
parts of yourself that you've outsourced. So this is the
kind of challenging yourself that makes you proud rather than
deplete it. And I'm going to repeat that when you
(17:12):
challenge yourself and you're like, dude, I did that, and
it reminds me of the star chart when we're little.
You know, Amanda did this and she you know, she
has a star. Those stars, I remember those stars. They
were gold, they were the primary colors, like gold, silver. Well,
I know gold and silver are not primary colors, but gold, silver, blue, red, green,
(17:32):
those stars. But it's like, Amanda did this. This is
challenging yourself for pride, not depletion. And it's really reintroducing
you to your power, which is such a huge theme power, sovereignty,
empowerment of twenty twenty six and beyond. So this isn't
about the pressure of proving. It's the challenge that ask
(17:55):
you to meet yourself. So thinking about these three themes centering,
centering is what gives you your signal strength for this
year ahead. Asking for outside help gives you the support,
the validation and the confirmation and the ability to unlock
(18:18):
your receptivity. And the challenge gives you the momentum, the embodiment,
the living action of your own signal. So finding your rhythm,
inviting in support, and doing one brave thing this month
that you've maybe put on the back burner or not
(18:41):
had the time or energy to do it for yourself.
So I want you to really consider the energy of
January and these themes and how they can play out
in your life and how you can apply them on
a daily basis. I'm excited for this year. I think January.
I know, oh, January is a very pivotal month, and
(19:02):
it's quiet, yet it's powerfully loud like. It's quiet on
the surface it may feel like hurry up and wait,
ebb and flow, but underneath the surface, it feels like
a gong like And if you've ever gone to a
gonging ceremony, I went. The first time I ever went
(19:24):
to a gong ceremony was about a decade ago, and
I was in Austin and this gentleman had these He
had four gongs and they all resonated with planets, and
there were probably about one hundred of us in this
I think it was a New moon gonging ceremony. And
I was in the second row and I was with
my friend and I had never been in the presence
(19:45):
of gongs, these big, huge gongs, and I remember he
started doing the gongs and I felt the like vibrations
through my body like nothing I've ever felt before. It
was exhilarating and true, and it felt like the whole
You know how we say we have a whole universe
within each cell. I felt like the whole universe opened
(20:07):
up within me with those gongs. And that's what january
feels like. On the surface, it may feel like ebb
and flow hurry up and wait slow, but on the inside,
your coherence should create a resounding gong that is sending
(20:27):
out energy into the cosmos. So I hope you feel
this and take time to find your own center to
really unblock any receptivity and receiving help and knowing you
are not alone in this universe and in what you
do when you endeavor in your soul's path in this lifetime,
(20:51):
and then also remembering that by engaging and challenging yourself
where you feel pride and enrichment, you are ceilings something
in as we move forward, Wan, Just to remind you,
I've got this workshop. The details are below and if
you want to dive deeper into the astrology, the numerology,
how to work with it, and how to really fine
(21:12):
tune your signal, then that's probably an ideal alignment for you,
and I'd love for you to join me. So everybody
take care. Set the stage for January and for twenty
twenty six with your own energy, your own signal, and
your own coherence in the present moment. Bow everyone take care.
