Liam Neeson Sam Anderson starring together. There's a It's a Naked Gun remake that
I guess they're going to be involvedin, and uh, I don't I
don't know. I don't want topooh pooh yet yet. But it's it's
it's hard to think about somebody remakingsomething as good as Naked Gun and it

(00:20):
being as good, if you knowwhat I'm saying. Yeah, I guess.
Uh. Seth McFarlane is Uh,he's one of the producers of the
film. Does that give it somegood? I mean, should it be
good? Will it be good? Will it be funny? And I don't
agree with Seth MacFarlane on politics, but I'll tell you what that Ted,
the Ted movies and the Ted Showthat is absolutely incredible. And the first

(00:45):
three seasons of Family Guy were justin the most ingenious thing I've ever seen.
So yeah, Seth MacFarland does havecomedic chops, there's no question.
Oh yeah, it's got well, not a lot about it right now.
It's got basically in the fledgling stagesof development, So we'll see if it
if it comes to fruition, I'llcheck it out. I mean, well,

(01:07):
I think they already set this up. I think I know what we're
gonna get. Have you seen that? Have you seen the part in Ted
where leam Nesson walks up and he'slike he's the trick scene. It's it's
from the original, the original Tedmovie, the trick scene. And basically
it's like Liam Neeson in character islike, you know, one of his

(01:30):
kick ass, bad guy you know, rolls that he possess a certain set
of skills that allows me to findyou and kill you. He's like,
I'd like to ask you about thisbreakfast cereal and he's like real serious,
but I am to understand that thisis exclusively only for children, you know
tricks. Well, yeah, tricksfor kids, that's what they say.
That's funny. You do understand thatI myself am not a child. So

(01:53):
he's like, you know, givinghim mark, Like so if I so
if I take this, if Ipurchased this, there won't be any trouble.
It's like no, and Liam Neesonjust looks like an ass the whole
time. I think it's I couldsee them trying to like do play him
seriously, because that's kind of Imean, if I mean think about was

(02:14):
it wasn't it the idea of nakedgun from how Leslie Nielsen was in the
movie Airplane, didn't they I thoughtthat was the motivation for what they wanted
to do with it. Yeah,it's a similar feel with regard to delivery,
and yes, a similar deadpan.Yeah kind of. I like stone,
ABC News is joining us now Irealize I'm like, oh, Zach
hasn't turned you up yet? No, this is crazy though, because probably

(02:38):
ten minutes ago, I was eatingsome lunch and up on YouTube popped bloopers
from Ted and I was just watchingbloopers from the original movie of Ted.
They're pretty funny. Yeah, howdirty they get when they're just ad living?
Oh yeah, oh yeah, howdirty? YouTube thing that every day
Now it's like, here's bloopers fromyou know, knocked Up. I love
bloopers from from the Office, andthey're allhilarious. What makes me laugh as

(03:00):
you go, how dirty they're gettingwhile they're just you know, uh,
you know, just kind of AndI'm going, how dirty they're getting with
the actual script. I mean, those movies are just they're just filthy.
But I don't know, if it'syour thing. I was just like,
wow, I mean I get whythey had success and and they're funny and

(03:21):
all of that. But I justwonderin what kind of a thing we're getting
here with, you know, LiamNeeson. Think about it. It's like
the guy puts a movie out aboutevery year, year and a half,
and so he's got to be worthcrazy money. So it had to be
something pretty good. I would imaginethey're offering him or this was a role
that he it just really appealed tohim, and he's just like, oh,

(03:45):
I gotta take it. You know, he's getting to the point where
he's like the rock just every fourthmovie, Liam Neeson, just that's just
the way it is, rolling inthe money, just pull it in.
Yeah, I will be interested tosee it. I am a huge fan
of Naked Gun and Leslie Nielsen.I mean, gosh, it's just so
we'll see. I'll give him achance. I do like Liam Neeson.

(04:08):
I do, But I'm just usedto him whooping everybody's ass every time he's
on screen. It's all and findinghis daughter or his wife and his daughter
or you know whatever. Some ofthose he was always kidnapped. Yeah,
he was in uh remember he waswith Patrick Swayze and he played his brother
in Uh, what movie was that? There was? Yeah, there was

(04:30):
a movie where and uh it wasjust off the top of my head.
I can't remember the name of it. I'll have sixty five people now send
me a direct message and tell mewhat there wasn't Roadhouse, right, the
one they just remained No, no, no, no no, it was
not that one. So next ofKen, next of Ken. That's it.
That's it. That's it. Thankyou, thank you, Josh,
thank you, thank you. Soyou know, I can't help but get

(04:53):
on an aircraft like I did overthe weekend. I flew Friday and against
Sunday. I was in Vegas, alex And, uh, can't help but
get on an aircraft going yeap, this is a seven eighty seven or seven
thirty seven. What with the seventhirty seven eight hundred the max eight hundred?
Is that right? Is that something? Well? I mean there's a
seven thirty seven eight hundred and thenthere's a seven thirty seven max eight Max

(05:15):
eighty. Yeah, I'm thinking ofthe seven thirty seven eight hundred Southwest,
is what I was. I sawthat on the little you know, the
card that was in the seat infront of me there, and so I
was looking at it, and Iwas like, wait, that's not the
seven eight seven. I was doingthat in my mind, going geez,
I wonder what else much big, bigger Bruss isn't flying it. That would
be a big shock. If yougot on a Southwest plane there was a

(05:36):
seven eighties seven. You could fitlike two of their planes inside the seven
eighty seven much. Yeah, sowhat what is the very latest on this?
Yeah? In fact, the justthe engine of the triple seven.
You can put the fuselage of aseven thirty seven in the engine. It
fits into the engine of the tripleseven. The engine is so big.
So yeah. There was a hearingon Capitol Hill today with you remember last

(06:00):
week we were telling about the whistleblowerwho was going to come forward. Today
he gave his testimony and a formerwhistleblower also spoke, really two different hearings.
Quite honestly, today the senators ofthe hearings seemed totally uninformed on what's
going on at Boeing, And mostof the senators gave their comments and then
left before either of these guys gavetheir testimony. So they showed up and
got their FaceTime, made their comments, and then they were out. But

(06:23):
the focus really being on Sam Salapor. He's the guy who began to give
his information last week making claims againstBoeing. He is a current Boeing engineer,
and today he said, I haveanalyzed Boeing's own data to conclude that
the company has taken manufacturing and shortcutson the seven eight seven program that may

(06:43):
significantly reduce the airplane safety. Hesays to the factory, as an engineer,
he has seen when they produce theseven eighty seven Dreamliner and the Triple
seven, the pieces of the fuselagedo not fit together correctly, and the
Boeing manipulates the material in the caseof the Dreamliner, it's composite material instead
of aluminum to make it come together. And he says, no matter how

(07:04):
much they do, there are stilltiny gaps in there, only about twice
the width of a human hair. But he says, over many years,
that little tiny gap, with allthe pressurizing and depressurizing of the aircraft,
that it can then rip apart, and that one day these planes will begin
ripping apart in the air with passengerson them. And he said, in
a rage to address its bottlenecks inproduction, Boeing hit problems pushing pieces together

(07:29):
with the excessive force to make himappear that the gaps don't exist. Even
though they exist, the gap didn'tactually go away, and this may result
in premature fatigue failure. Effectively, they are putting out defective airplanes. Now,
we should say Boeing denies all ofthis completely. It even slowed production
of the seven eighty seven a fewyears ago to test some of these claims.

(07:50):
It says it simulated over one hundredand sixty seven thousand flights found this
is not an issue, that thisis not something that is ever gonna They're
never gonna rip apart. It hasfull confidence, it says in the seven
eighty seven and the Triple seven. And they say not a real life concern.
He though, says that he describedtoday for the senators some of what
he's seen at the factory and theway that they have forced pieces together.

(08:13):
Call it the Tar's hand effect.I literally saw people jumping on the pieces
of the airplane to get them toalign. I call it the Tarzan effect,
among other improper methods. So heclaims he's been retaliated against that he's
dealt with a lot. Had atire, they had a nail bit put
in his tire at work and thatbosses have told him things and he's been

(08:35):
sidelined. The other guy was mainlyabout the seven thirty seven program and he
claims that whole thing has been abig cover up. And the issue though
Mark in this is neither of theseguys have evidence to show Saladport Today.
His attorneys said that we would seethe evidence. They did not hand over
the evidence. This other guy saysthat he had documents about the seven thirty

(08:56):
seven MAX that the FAA and NTSBsay they've determined don't exist. He said
he had them, but he hasnow lost to them and cannot produce them.
How do you lose these documents you'regoing to testify about. So there
are some questions about the testimony. But bottom line, both of these guys,
one who works at Boeing, onewho used to work at Boeing,
they say that there are problems withthe aircraft. Wow, this is that

(09:20):
Tarzan effect just got me man.I'm like, people are jumping up there.
Yeah, I mean crazy right, jumping up and down to make them
fit. Yeah, that's how wedo it in the I don't know what
what how recent that was as faras they all claims, it's fairly recent.
You don't hear about this at airbus. It seems like the airbus has

(09:41):
just come together and fly out,you know what I mean? What is
going on there and not totally clear? Yeah, pretty pretty crazy. I
like stone ABC News out of LosAngeles. By the way, how warm
is it there today? What arewe at seventy eight today? Okay,
we're at seventy seven. We're rightbelow you, like we're brothers in the
weather today. Yeah, but we'vegot like some viewers, I'm like in

(10:03):
my backyard and I'd been like,oh, Mark's feeling the same thing,
except we've got like all these stormslike brewing right now. Yeah you don't.
So yeah, there's that, Iguess. But Alex, enjoy your
time in the backyard tonight to seethe man. So we have I just
you know, I'm trying to monitorwhat's going on because we do have some

(10:24):
severe thunderstorm warnings right now for Delawareand Union County till four p fifty.
We also have some tornado warnings forMary Morrow, yes, and those are
those are until five o'clock. Soif you are in Marion County, especially
if you are just east of twentythree right now. Actually, now i'd

(10:46):
Mount Gilliad. It's coming right foryou. There is what they think is
some rotation they're showing now just betweenCyrus and Shelby. Yep, they're so.
Marshall's on this, but yeah,if you are, if you're a
Mount Gilead or between Mary and MountGilead, I would take some cover right

(11:07):
now. Yeah, they have notcited any they haven't actually said there are
actual tornadoes. They haven't seen.Marshall's not saying anything is touchdown, but
we are continuing to monitor this.Yeah, we're not going to know till
we get those reports after because Iassume most people have taken shelter in that
area right right, all right,So there's just keep that in mind as

(11:31):
we're moving out here. Marshall wassaying that with this tornado watch pretty much
for most of central and northern Ohiothat goes till seven o'clock, we got
to stay weather aware here again,it is a severe thunderstorm warning ending at
four point fifty for Delaware and UnionCounties, and a tornado warning for Marion

(11:52):
and Morow Morrow County till five tillfive okay, right now. So that's
the very latest and we'll stay righton this for you traveing, and one
will Power Hour with Chuck
