(00:00):
Man Marshall is uh. He isa plethora of information. It's I am
you know. It seems like nomatter what the question is, anything to
do with whether, there is alwaysa deep explanation, and he has it
every time. He and Sarah weredoing fantastic last night, and to watch

(00:21):
all of this kind of unfold,it was like, even though he was
indicating the storm was moving like thirtyfive forty miles an hour, it felt
like it took a long time toget over top of us and then passed
us. Well, it didn't evenget I mean, he said, probably.

(00:41):
I think what ten thirty seven iswhen it finally ten thirty seven,
ten forty is kind of when itfinally got really on top of Dublin.
But we had tornado sirens going offbecause Dublin has their own independent alarm system,
so Dublin had start it's sounding theirswhen they're the tornado warning was back

(01:03):
in Champagne County and Union parts ofUnion County and so, and then the
lightning last night was NonStop. Itwas incredible. I mean it was literally
one hundred bolts a minute at onepoint it was and I think from about
eight thirty at night till about midnight. I had nothing but marshal on just

(01:26):
watching wall to wall coverage because whatelse you gonna do. Yeah, that's
what we were doing as well, and having a satellite. I ended up
switching to it. It clicks overto using your internet. I do like
how they do that, and Isay clicks over, but it just flips
over to using the internet to streamit through uh once it gets nasty out.

(01:49):
Yeah, it's like they have Andjust on a side note, like
with direct TV, which I stillhave, but they they at one point
that was that was a big, big, big thing for them that people
would be like, I'm not gonnause that because every time it rains,
pixel eights and then freezes and thenyou got nothing. You get nothing.
And by the way, think aboutthat, I mean, right at the

(02:13):
most crucial time you need it.It's like it goes out. Well,
now they've they've got it to whereit connects and you start streaming whatever.
It's I gotta be honest, Ididn't even set any of that up.
It just happens. Yeah, soI'll take it. But yeah, back
to your point, we were watchingfor quite a while and I'd already laid

(02:35):
down when all of this started, and I wasn't asleep yet, but I
watched The Reds lose again last nightand then started kind of watching started started
watching Marshall and watching this whole thingplay out, and we you know,
I was like, okay, justget to ten forty five, just get
to Tech because it was about toexpire the tornado warning. You know,

(02:57):
Josie's freaking out, and I said, what are you gonna do when you
move out? And you like, you know what I mean? It was
just like, oh, dude,it was like and I said, because
the sirens are going off, itis this uh, it is an unnerving
sound. There's no question when thosesirens go on. Well and dude,
and it's the lightning and it's likeI posted a video last night from my

(03:17):
front pat ports and it's it's withthe lightning. You got the siren,
it extenuates lights up the clouds. So you know, you're just kind of
like, I'd better not see ablack triangle coming down, right. Yeah,
It's just it's a weird feeling atnight. Yeah. So that went

(03:37):
on and then we didn't end up. Yeah I did. I Well,
I saw there was a where didit go oh we had two confirmed National
Weather Service confirming two in Ohio andE F one in Franklin County was confirmed.
So yeah, uh that's that wouldthat's right. And there was one,

(04:02):
the biggest one, I think theone that is the one back in
Mercer County. That's where that's whereSalina and Grand Lake Saint Mary's is And
that was a I'm looking here, this is like a three page Yeah,
they confirmed it. I think itwas like an E two maybe over there.
Yeah. I was surprised to seethat there was one in Franklin County

(04:26):
that happened last night. I don'tknow what part of Franklin County they were
talking about, just as National Weatherswould have confirmed an EF one tornado in
Franklin County. Oh boy, waita minute, Indiana, Holy cow,
what's wrong with me? I justI like realized what I was seeing there.
It's Indiana. There's a Franklin Countyin Indiana. Threw me off.
Sorry, everybody. I was like, I apologize. No, Mercer County

(04:49):
is back west and that's whoops aboutThat's all right? Yeah? So yeah,
there you go. Let's see Mercerand Auglace. Yeah, sir,
look for damage of Butler, Dark, Jefferson, Mercer, uh, Paulding,

(05:09):
Warren Counties, as well as FranklinCounty, Indiana. Yeah, whoops,
anyway, dad caught it was reportedlike this or maybe I should.
Yeah, my pay more to mycousin Adam, who is an amateur storm
chaser back in pickwa Is. Healways posts his storm chasing video because pickwa

(05:30):
It gets hit with a ton ofstorms. Because we're right there in west
central Ohio. Everything that comes outof Indiana ends up slamming into Preble,
Mercer, Miami, Shelby, MontgomeryCounties. Like that's just the way it
is over there. And so he'sgoing down Route thirty six and he's driving
from pickwa to Covington to Greenville, and some of his footage, Man,

(05:53):
there were some clouds that there weredefinitely funnel clouds. There were there were
wall clouds and funnel clouds, butnothing ever touched down as far as I
know, I haven't had a chanceto talk to him today, but I
was watching his Facebook live feed.So scary. Yeah, it really was
those people that chase storms. Istill don't understand. I mean, God
bless them, but it seems tome, I'm like you your life is

(06:15):
not I guess exciting. He's gota buddy that does it with him,
and they are. Yeah, they'vegot equipment inside their van and I mean
all kinds of stuff. He takesit very seriously. Yeah, he's he
contributes. They use my cousin Adam'sfootage for like w HIO. I think

(06:40):
he's got a deal to partnership withthem Channel seven New Center seven out of
Dayton, so they'll use some ofhis video and some of his pictures.
Wow and cool. He'll even offerit, I think to two and twenty
two over there, the ABC andNBC affiliates w KF and w rt D
in Dayton. In Dayton. Yea, yeah, man, cool, really

(07:00):
cool. So there it is.Yeah, we had we had a you
know again, we could get somemore We commit to get some more storms
again tonight. It looks like mainlySouth is what they're predicting at this point,
but you know what I mean, southern Ohio. Who it could shift,

(07:20):
you never know, most likely thoughthey're predicting south. But yeah,
Sarah will join us here in alittle bit and we'll get the very latest
on that. So I don't uh, boy, this seat belt thing that's
that's happening here. And I don'tlike this at all. I don't like
it either, because do you putyours on when you get in your seat

(07:45):
belt? Do you will? SometimesI'll be in a hurry and then it's
like as I'm pulling, as I'mrolling down the drivewhere I'm rolling down,
you know, I pull out ahard road onto hard road to go to
sawmill, I'll be like, andit'll start. Usually it takes about forty
five seconds for it to go dingthing, and I'll just grab it with
one hand, and you know,I was gonna say, aren't we really

(08:05):
isn't this really kind of already?Unless you have an older vehicle, isn't
this almost like it's kind of aneffect already? Name somebody tell me they
can continue to drive around in theircar while the thing's squawking at them,
and they can just do that forhowever long they're driving without putting it on.

(08:26):
Toyota when I had the RAV four, Toyota was really extremely annoying,
and boy they were loud. Imean, this thing, lets you know,
and it's just going to go nonstop dang dang, dang, dang,
like to the point where you're goingcrazy right now. The Explorer it's

(08:46):
a little more gentle with how itgoes about it and it's not as aggressive,
but still it's not something I wantto have to listen to every thirty
forty seconds. I do know peoplewill buy they'll go to the junk yard
and like look for and then justget the little click thing and just click
it if they don't really want towear a seat belt. I've heard of

(09:07):
people doing that. So you know, like what your seat belt is looped
through that you clasp into the whenyou click it, you know, click
it or ticket? Yeah, geta ticket. Well, if you can
get you could just cut that looseoff of a seat. You just cut
the seat belt with slides right off. Now you've got just basically the click
part. You just stick it inthere. If you didn't want to wear

(09:28):
a seat belt, it'll turn thatoff. I know that. I've heard
of people doing that. Wow,well it tricks it. It's got to
be like has to obviously be compatiblewith whatever it is. But I've heard
of people doing that actually having anextra one in there because they don't want
to wear the seat belt. Interesting, yeah, anyway, so what they're

(09:48):
what we're talking about here is youcould be pulled over for not wearing a
seat belt. It's a new billbacked by our governor m uh. They've
introduced this bill for not wearing ringa seat belt, making it a primary
offense, which means police can theycan stop you if they see you drive
by and they noticed you don't havea seat belt on. They cannot currently

(10:09):
stop you just for that. Therehas to be another violation and they can't
just really just see that you don'thave one on and pull you over.
And then you know, here's thething that is a little bit of a
head scratcher for me. Representative JohnCross, State Rep. Goes, you
wouldn't get on a roller coaster atseat or point without putting your seat belt
on. You shouldn't get in yourcar and put and not put your seat

(10:31):
belt on. I mean, I'msupposed to be an apples to apples comparison.
I guess. I mean, Iknow that you know you don't drive
like a roller coaster. However,if there's a situation where you have to
swerve or do something like that,I understand all of the look, I
get all of the things that theyare saying right now. I understand.

(10:52):
As a matter of fact, Iput mine on every time, so it's
not that I necessarily guessed it.I hate that there are possibly going to
turn this into a primary offense. We don't need any more laws. We
got too many of our freedoms havebeen taken away anyway over the years.
I am against this. What's onehundred percent? I think this needs to
be voted down. This is justwhy are we keep giving government reason to

(11:18):
get involved in our lives? Hey, Matt, welcome, Hello there,
Hey Hey, When I put myseat belt on, I don't the thing
that goes over my shoulder bothers theheck out of me, so I put
it under my arm. How areyou going to see if I have a
belt on? If I don't havethe thing over my arm? Interesting?
Yeah, because visually, you're right, they wouldn't be able to see that

(11:39):
just off of a quick visual inspection. And I worked at Cedar point on.
I was a beach beach lifeguard andnobody wore seatbelts there. Okay,
thanks man, Hey Rick, howare you welcome to the show? Hey
Mark, I got three words foryou on the seatbelt bypass Amazon. Yeah,

(12:01):
they fell a little. I buyhim by the three packs, keep
one in every vehicle, click itright in. Done, Yeah, have
to listen to it again. Itjust fools the car into thinking you're your
seat belted up. Correct, it'sit's just the business end that you normally
would would click in and it's gotno belt attached to it. And it's
like three of them for hundred tenbucks. So are you just like a

(12:22):
guns wearing seat belts or you justchoose not to. I choose not to.
And I also ride motorcycle and Inormally wear my helmet, but I
don't want to be told that Ihave to. If I want to go
locally to the store and not popa helmet on, then that's my right.
And thank god in Ohio it stillis. Yeah right, yeah,

(12:45):
Rick, thanks. You know I'ma two wheel guy as well. With
Rick, I never wore a helmet. I know a lot of people are
like, what are you. It'sjust like I always felt like all it
did was guaranteed an open casket ifI wore a helmet. Really, it's
just preserved in my head. Ithink you got to wear tough leather to
because if you have to lay itdown, you don't want to be a

(13:05):
meat crayon. And I think youshould always wear a helmet just I mean
that would be me. I wouldhave protection, you know, gloves,
everything, boots, and I wouldalways wear a helmet just because you never
know what's going to happen. Andit's usually other cars. It's cars who
aren't paying attention to the motorcyclist outthere. That's exactly right on the two
wheels. Most times people don't seeyou, not that they're trying to run

(13:28):
you over, they just switch lanes, they don't see you you. Unfortunately,
on a bike you don't take upmuch of a mirror space. As
a result, you kind of sneakinto those blind spots really easy. Oh
my gosh, I've been almost runover so many on Sawmill Road. It
was the worst. I mean multipletimes almost was run over. I mean
you gotta really really But yeah, this seat belt thing, though, is

(13:50):
a whole separate conversation. We gotpeople on hold. We'll get the more
calls coming up. Trafficking weather togetherfrom day and night, heating
