(00:00):
I know you're going to be relievedto hear that he is sticking with football.
He's not going to be going intopolitics. Yes, and you might
be going, wait a minute,he had a chance at a political career.
Yes, he actually did. Iguess Robert Kennedy Junior asked him to
be his vice presidential running mate, and so as a result, he's like,

(00:24):
look, I love Bobby, iswhat he called. I love Bobby,
and we had a few nice conversations. But there are really two options
retire and be his VP or keepplaying. And I want to keep playing,
is what Aaron said. So that'sit. He is not going to

(00:44):
We have no threat of Aaron Rodgersbecoming part of our government. I was
laying awake from bed at night lastnight, tossing and turning. I'll sleep
much better tonight, thank you.You were thinking. Man, I hope
this guy doesn't decide to get intogovernment. You know, we can't.
We can't have this. We can'thave Aaron Rodgers. No, dude,
he needs to keep you know,do Peyodian a trip in the desert,

(01:08):
man, that's your thing, dog, not not getting into politics. First
of all, I like Aaron Rodgerstoo. Much once once he became Once
he becomes a politician, you neverknow what can happen to these guys.
Half of them go down a verydark side, you know, right,
you know, Congressman Jordan is joiningus now, and I know, see
listen, how listen you sound sorelieved, Congressman that you're not going to

(01:33):
have raters. Well, uh,you know, you guys, you guys
talk about all kinds of things thoughhere, but you never know. We
never know what's going to be thefirst thing that comes up on whatever.
Maybe it's just when I join.I don't know. I just see the
other times, but I don't know. Well, this this is what I
do know about Aaron Rodgers. Hehe spoke out strongly about letting Americans decide

(01:53):
about their own healthcare on during theCOVID. I thought that made some you
know, made sense. I mean, you got got a little trouble.
I think when he you know, with the with the woke mob out there
was when he did the Rogan podcastor something. But anyway, I thought
that was interesting. But what Imost know about Aaron Rodgers is I got
our boys rustled for the for theBadgers. I remember our youngest boys recruiting

(02:14):
trip. We watched the Badgers play, and then we went up and watched
a game in lambeau Field, andI still remember we were we had good
seats and and Aaron Rodgers rolling outto his left. So this is several
years ago, and it was JordanNelson, I think, coming across it.
He turns and throws his perfect pack. You see how good they are
when you like watch the play unfoldlike that. See what the quarterbacks doing?

(02:36):
Uh? The guy control football. So I guess I understand why he's
sticking with h sticking with his firstprofession there right well, and as a
Steeler fan, he's the only onein a Super Bowl as has really given
me fix. I I unfortunately havenightmares about him in Green Bay and again
the only Super Bowl the Steelers havebeen to that have lost, so that

(02:58):
they've lost, and I unfort Iwas hosting. I worked at a rock
radio station then and we were hostingan event. And let me tell you,
you know, I had my Steelerjersey on. Everybody was well aware
that it was Blazer, the Steelerfan. I caught so much, you
know what, all not from peopleand I will occasionally still see maybe some

(03:19):
of the people in attendance at theSuper Bowl party that we threw for that
radio station, and I I'll stillhave people go, hey, man,
have you recovered from the green bit. I'm like, shut up, shut
up, none of that. Butyeah, no, to your point,
Congressman Aaron Rodgers, there's no question, Hey, guy's got the goods,
man. I mean, he's unbelievable. He's a play extender. He is

(03:40):
a defensive coach's nightmare. There's noquestion. Yeah. Well, when he
rolled out to his left, whichis hard to do for right handed passer,
obviously, he rolls out and makeshis quick little hit, turns and
then just throws this perfect spiral, perfect pass right in Jordy Nelson's hands,
and it was like, man, these guys are the pros. It's not

(04:00):
different than the backyard of the Jordan, you know, Thanksgiving touch football out
and I'll tell you that. Soit was. Yeah, it was something
to see. So what are yourthoughts. I actually look up and on
Fox News right now on the onthe monitor here former Fauci advisor hearing on
deleted emails, and I'm like,I'm seeing this is actual live footage that

(04:20):
is happening there on the hill, and uh, what exactly can you what
can you tell us about this?Basically, everything they told us wasn't true.
You know, they said the sixfoot social distancing thing. We don't
know where that came from. Wejust kind of made that up out of
the clear blue sky. You knowthat. I always say that everything they
told us turned out to be false. You know, they said it wasn't

(04:42):
it wasn't didn't come from the labin China, It wasn't gain a function
research. It wasn't your tax dollarsuse as the lab. The vaccinator can't
get it, the vaccinator can't transmitit, mask work, there's no such
thing. First virus in American history, excuse me, first virus in history
where there wasn't natural immunity. Soon and on it goes. And of
course, you know, we allkind of from the get go thought this

(05:04):
thing probably came from the lab.But remember what they told us. They
said, no, it was abat to a penguin, to a hippoponymous
to Joe Rogan. And then thewhole world gets COVID, you know,
I mean it was like remember whenthey went after Rogan. Like so we're
just learning more and more about howthey for politics didn't really tell us,

(05:27):
weren't really square with the American people. Hey, Congressman, you can tell
how desperate Joe's getting. Poor Joesees that nobody likes his economic policies,
nobody likes his lack of leadership. And today alone, he's made a couple
of dramatic decisions I think out ofpanic, and I'd like to get your

(05:49):
take on each one. First ofall, the announcement of a hunt more
student loan debt relief. Yeah, one hundred and sixty seven thousand will have
their loans completely wiped out. Thatwas one. And then the other is
he's releasing one million barrels of gasolinefrom the Northeastern Reserve in an effort to

(06:09):
lower gas prices this summer because peopleare seeing how you know, it's three
seventy five a gallon here in Columbus. People can't keep that up. Just
your comments on these what I callmoves of desperation on Joe's part, Yeah,
I mean it certainly is. Imean this is just pure raw politics,
handing things out with other people's money, but with the student lawn.

(06:30):
I mean, how many times areyou going to do it the courts of
flat team down every time, andthen he comes back, tweets it a
little bit and continues to give awayyour money. And you know what it
says to the families who who whosechildren they paid to go to school,
or the students who work their waythrough school, Hey, you might have
done that, but now we wantyou to pay for someone else's too.
Like, no, that's just notgoing to fly. Regular people like no.

(06:51):
That just Americans get fairness. Fromthe time you're a kid and your
brother got two cookies and you gotone. Americans didn't stint to we understand
fairness, and they know this isnot fair. So they're going to be
opposed to this. And then ofcourse they see what he's doing with instead
of having commentson's energy policy, whichis, let's use the resources the good

(07:11):
Lord's given us. By the way, when we use our resources, that's
better for the environment than what's goingon these other places where we're buying it
from. But no, no,the less and the crazy policies lead four
dollars gas and more harm to theenvironment versus the policies that make just good
common sense. I saw an interestinglist to Congressman Jim Jordan is joining us
now. I saw an interesting listthis morning, Congressman, as I'm getting

(07:33):
ready for the show, going overdifferent stuff, and from October twenty twenty
to now support for Biden among keygroups. And again this is compared to
before the twenty twenty election. InOctober of twenty twenty, it was seventy
nine percent from black voters. Rightnow it's seventy two percent. And I

(07:56):
feel like that's probably being conservative withregard to that, because we know how
the support for him is waning withregard to Black voters. Hispanic voters just
a little bit of a difference, but lower now than it was in October
of twenty twenty. Suburban women, this is a big one for me.
In October twenty twenty, sixty onepercent. Now it's fifty four percent,

(08:16):
and I feel like that is akey demographic for, you know, Biden
and to try to get victory hereand could obviously bode well for President Trump.
People under the age of thirty, this is the biggest one. In
October of twenty twenty, sixty threepercent we're supporting Biden. Now it's forty
nine percent. I feel like that'scontinuing to go down and kind of piggybacking

(08:39):
on what Josh was asking you withregard to the student debt cancelation and so
on. Yet an attempt to tryto get those people under age three.
And I love how they they talkto a couple of different people who are
in that underage thirty demographic and everyone of them is like, this isn't
even going to get close to workingor whatever. But yeah, it's a
hail Mary, no question about that. And then also there was an IPSUS,

(09:01):
a Reuter's IPSIS poll that showed thatvoters said most are all immigrants in
the US illegally should be rounded upand deported, and then they supported the
use of detention camps to hold theseundocumented migrants before they're kicked out of the
country. The fact that these kindsof polls and this kind of information is

(09:22):
surfacing now I'm I am maintaining andI hope I'm one hundred percent wrong.
I don't think Biden is going toend up being the guy. And I
know I'm probably on island here, but it's crazy to me. That's funny.
There's there are people who think thatthey still might make that change.
I think the younger demographic is largelythe cost of everything, And frankly,

(09:43):
I think there are more and moreyoung people who are fed up with the
crazy wokeness. They actually want wantto have a real debate, not have
this left wing woke policy just thruston them where you can't even you can't
even debate and talk about issues anymore, or you get called racist in all
kinds of other names. And thenI think, frankly, for suburban female

(10:03):
voters, I think that's probably largelydriven by the crime problem, the immigration,
the border issue, and the crimeproblem. Nothing like moms. You
know, mom's worried about what theirkids' safety. I think that is a
huge issue and is probably driving thosenumbers in a direction away from Joe Biden.
When you see the record levels ofcrime we're witnessing in and around urban

(10:24):
areas across the country. So Ithink that's terrible what's happening, because Joe
Biden's done everything wrong. But froma political standpoint, I think people remember
the good policies and the good thingsthat were going on under President Trump and
are saying we're going to we wanthim back in the White House. Is
Congressman is with the jury, Ithink the instructions are going to be delivered

(10:46):
to the jury tomorrow and then theygo deliberate. Do you have any thoughts
or predictions about what is going tohappen out of this kangaroo court in New
York? You never you never know. I mean I remember what they said
about, uh, you know, well, what's the jury going to say
in Kenoshan in the Rittenhouse case? And and the jury came back and stuck
to the facts in the law andsaid, you know, this is this

(11:07):
this this individual's innocence. Certainly PresidentTrump is innocent here, this is there's
there's no way. This is ridiculousif they can't name the crime and on
the go. So I'm always optimistic, and you know, we're American.
You got to be optimistic. Welive in the greatest country ever with the
best system ever. So I'm hopefulthat it's that he's acquitted. But if
not, we know this thing isgoing to get overturned on appeal. Every

(11:28):
legal expert says it. The othergood news is every single case is falling
apart, and they're all falling apartbecause they're all built on politics. Remember
Jack Smith, the special counsel atthe Federal level. He was not named
special counsel until three days after PresidentTrump was announced who was running for president.
Fannie Willis started her investigation two anda half years ago. She doesn't

(11:48):
bring charges until after President Trump announcedhe's running for president. And Alvin Brack
said he could not envision a worldwhere he indicts Trump and calls Michael Cohen
as a prosecution witness, but hedid just that made a decision to flip
one hundred and eighty degrees after PresidentTrump announces he's running for president. So
this is all based on politics, and when cases are based on politics,

(12:09):
they tend to fall apart because it'snot about the facts in the law.
And we're all seeing that President Trumpis going to, i think, be
our next president, and that's exactlywhat our country needs. Speaking of President
Trump, Congressman, he is expectedto attend the Coca Cola six hundred at
Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, sowe're going, yeah, we're gonna see
him and people going crazy for himonce again to the tune of like tens

(12:31):
of twenty and thirty and fifty thousandpeople as that is that an Atlanta,
No, No, it's Charlotte it'sa Charlotte Motor Speedway. Yeah yeah,
God, he'll get and Charlotte's goingto be fun to watch it. Yeah,
he'll be He'll be a rock starwith that crowd. That's like,
that's like with h that's like withthe wrestling crowd. You know, the
UFC crowd put did cl a wrestlingtournament two years ago, and every single

(12:54):
champion after they won their matche wentover and talk to his placed with crazy
court and then you see, man, you FC of that, Oh my
goodness, think of the roof comesoff basically when he walks in. So
I assume he's going to get theexact same kind of reception at a NASCAR
supposed to be that way for sure. Congressman Jim Jordan, thanks for joining
us. Appreciate it all right, man. Traffic and weather together from day

(13:16):
and night, heating and cooling
