Speaker 1 (00:00):
He seriously.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
I you know, the phone's incredibly active today. There are
a lot of people who want to weigh in on
all of these different things that are happening in our
world right now.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
And yeah, I mean the fact that it is a.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
It is a I don't I don't even know where to,
I don't even know which ways up some days, I'm serious,
I get so I get so like confused over things
that happen that are happening in our society, and so
I'm I'm actually looking for cannot find some of the
(00:41):
stuff that I was looking for.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Oh so bizarre.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
You'd brought this up yesterday, Josh or well today and
we had it kind of yesterday, but with regard to
our FK Junior admitting to dumping a black bear cub
in Central Park in twenty fourteen, which was so bizarre
to me. He was on it was a Roseanne bar
Is it her podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
I think they were just sitting down having a conversation.
It was like on video I just saw on my
Instagram feed because I follow him on my Instagram, And
basically he said that he was somebody a woman hit
a bear. He put the bear in the back of
(01:27):
his car. Because he was out falconing. Seriously, he said
he was out falconing.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
What is that? I don't even know what that means.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
It's when you use falcons to go hunt like small
prey and game.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Oh okay, that's called falcony, falconry, falconry, all right.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
So anyway, sure he's out, Yeah, it did. Trust me,
you're going to be rich. And he's well, Kennedy. So
he was doing that. He was coming back and somebody
ahead of him hit a bear, killed the bear, right,
He put the bear in the back of his car
because he was in New York. You can take bear
home and get a tag for it and eat and
(02:05):
you know, if you want to meet eat the bear.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
So he put it in the back of his car.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Well, he had to be in the city for dinner,
so this bear is still in the back of his car.
And then he realizes, you know, dinner goes late. He's
got to go straight to the airport. So what did
he do. He took it to Central Park and stage
as though it got hit by a bike. That is
(02:34):
a bizarre story, but still, I really, I really like it,
even though I sometimes feel like my voice is turning
into his.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
No you're so far from having that. It sounds painful.
Listening to him on.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
The side, it sounds like he hurts when he talked.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
That's what I'm saying. Congressman Jim Jordan is joining us
now and in a Congressman, have you ever had bear?
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Have you ever consumed bear meat?
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Uh? And but like a like like you know, uh,
burger that is like that this is this is but
that is like roadkill. I mean, I don't get this story.
I don't I don't get this at all. And you
wonder if it's actually accurate. Oh, I don't understand that.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yeah, well, there was a big news story about the
time because he found out that they found out by
turning on the television, and it's all over every local
New York news channel. There's twenty cop cars in the area.
It's it's got the yellow tape around and his eyes
get real big and he's like, oh God, what have
I done?
Speaker 4 (03:33):
Yeah, but I don't remember this story. I don't remember that.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
It was a localized story. Okay, yeah, w o R
in New York.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
I mean some of the local channels there would, but
I don't think it ever made it nationally.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
But as far as a local story.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
I just feel it's so bizarre, like he admits that,
and you know, I don't, and I know he.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Wasn't one of the ones that was calling us weird.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
But I'm going, now, that's weird if you ask me,
I mean, yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
A little, a little strange. I mean, I I appreciate
his position on the First Amendment, but I don't know
about that. I don't know about you know, picking up
roadkill and and moving it to Central Park. That seems
pretty strange to me.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Well, yeah, it was. It was in his car.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
He had to he had to leave, and clearly he
couldn't leave it in his car because you know, I mean,
he can't park out at the airport.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
We all.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah, you know, you get the rest of it.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
But the fact that he tried to stage a bike
hitting it, it's.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Like, definitely definitely strange, definitely strange. Yeah, as you said,
it's it's kind of a kind of strange time, you know,
go figure. Yeah, I love I love this idea, that
that that you mentioned that weird that you know, the
Democrats are saying JD vances somehow weird and I'm like,
he humblest the beginnings. He uh, you know United States
(04:56):
Marine graduates from them, you know, the Ohio State University postgrads,
a graduate degree from Yale, successful business guy, best selling author,
so so many people like this book. They make a
movie about it. Then he becomes the senator for the
seventh largest state in the Union, and now he's a
vice presidential candidate, and I think it's going to be
(05:16):
our next vice president. And he's only forty. I don't
call that weird. I call that amazing. I call that
the American dream, the American story. And yet you know,
well that's weird, like one of these people before, Well.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
When you talk about Mayor Pete wearing prosthetic boobs and breastfeeding,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
And they want to say we're weird. We're the people
that are weird.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Come on, and I know I hate to be so graphic, Congressman,
but good lord, I just it is laughable. What the
accusations coming out of the left's It is laughable. And
I got to get your thoughts on this. This governor
walts being her vice president pick. I see that she's
getting ready. I'm actually I've got the TV on and
we're we're looking at coverage. Kind of way on this
(06:00):
first rally to happen with him in Philly. That's getting
ready to happen here at any point. But your thoughts
on this guy, I mean, good lord, we have railed
on him all day since we went on the air,
people calling in giving us their thoughts and so on.
This guy is left of left, progressive crazy, defund the police.
I mean, you name it. This guy is the he
is the poster boy for it.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Yeah. And I think the biggest takeaway is it. I
think it just demonstrates and this, to Shad just demonstrates
how anti Israel the left has become because the logical
pick made sense to be a governor Shapiro from Pennsylvania.
To me, I mean, I'm glad they picked this guy
that I'm glad to pick Walds, but the logical pick
was Saperiro. But I think the hard left that now
(06:43):
controls the Democrat Party we're like, no, we can't. We're
so against Israel, our dearest and best friend of Israel.
I would add, they're so against it that they had
to go with this Kim Walsh guy who presided over
when the whole summer of the George Floyd Ryots and
all that took place, that was in his state, in
the capitol there in Minneapolis, Saint Paul area. That's their guy.
(07:07):
So okay, that's what you want. That's I think it
helps Republicans, and I think it's all the more reason
why President Trump is going to be our next president.
Jade Van's going to be our next vice president.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yeah, I feel like we just I can't wait for
the first time that Kamala has to take questions from
the media, because you know this, the scariest part of this, Congressman,
is we're ninety what are we ninety one days away
from the election and the fact that they they could,
they could quite possibly hide her the largest part of
(07:38):
this time, because it is only we'll call it a
few days, if you will, is what's going to feel
like by the time we get there, hiding her not
quite in the basement, but just shielding her.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
And the media is complicit in this. We're watching.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
I mean, I can't wait for her to try to
answer any of these questions that and I know we're
not going to get any from the mainstream media, but
I think we'll get Peter Doucy asking her some some
very you know, pertinent questions that she's and I want
to see her get flustered trying to explain her way
out of all this craziness that she's peddled over these
past couple of years. And then we're going to go
(08:12):
back to when she was senator and when she was
a district attorney, when she you know, all of those things,
and I want to hear her defend any of this stuff.
And I can't wait for her to get flustered and
then maybe maybe we'll see the real her pop out
and you know, try.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
To be like, don't disrespect me kind of thing, you know.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Yeah, And seems like the connection that that that Vice
President Harris has with Governor Wallas is you know, they
were they were both uh this this soft on crime mentality,
and again we saw that in the riot after the
George Floyd uh you know situation in Minneapolis, the position
they took, and she was, you know, she was like
advocating for raising bail money for people who were violating
(08:51):
the wall. So yeah, maybe maybe that's the connection, but
I think it's largely driven by this this They couldn't
pick the guy that made sense, I think to so
many people, which which would have been Governor Shapiro. They
couldn't pick him because of their their radical position against Israel.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Hey, Jim, I want to get your thoughts on what
we saw yesterday in the market.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Now.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
I know things bounce back today, but just a sign
of what these economic policies have done. And you know,
I think we see where the interest rates are.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
We see people are hurting.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
How many Americans just lost a ton of percentage on
four one K yesterday.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
We just can't keep going at this rate.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Your thoughts on the current state of the economy and
also would you encourage a Federal Reserve emergency meeting to
slash interest rates and get some money back into this economy.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
Well, what I would encourage is, you know, let's ninety
one days and like people who aren't going to regulate
the job creators like crazy, who aren't going to increase
spending like like was done on the Biden administration, and
who are going to you know, not have the crazy
inner policies that contribute to I think the economic situation.
So it's you know, you have to have common sense
(10:05):
energy policy to get your economy growing. We've not had that,
We've had increased regulatory burden placed on the job creators.
That's not good. And tax rates, tax increases are coming
if this same group stays in power. That's why this
election is so darn important. So I heard another individual say,
it's it's the economy, it's the border, and it's crime,
(10:26):
and it's the EBC. And it's like, that's what this
election is about. But that economy issue first. And you know,
take your family out to dinner and see what it
cost you, right, I mean, everyone knows this is ridiculous.
So that's all it's sake. And I think is this
is being now reflected in the jobs report we got
last week, and of course in the and what's happened
to the market the last.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Couple of days and last last time we went to
the movies, me and my family, four of us, it
was one hundred and nineteen dollars.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
God, that's for the four tickets. Yeah, that's for the
four tickets. And then yeah, we got some popcorn. Yeah,
we got some popcorn.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
And certainly, I don't know, it's probably an abnormally large
amount of food that we purchased. But at the same time,
sixty six dollars really for a couple of hot dollars
popcorn and some water.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
That's the kind of stuff right there is to go
back to what you said Mark earlier, which is, don't
stop worrying about Kamala's race, stop worrying about silly attacks
and this, that and the other. The d on the
things we can all relate to, like the fact that
takes one hundred and twenty dollars to take your family
out to see the movies. I just if I was
(11:32):
advising President Trump right now, I would just preach nothing
but economy and border all day.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Every day. Right, yep, yep.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
I think that's true. I think that's what's on the
minds of the American people, and rightfully.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
So I wanted to also tell you too, I have
a listener who direct message meeting goes Hey.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
I met Congressman Jordan today.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
His name was Steve he goes He came to meet
with seven of us on our executive team to tour Avida,
Ontario Hospital.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
What a great guy. So he was singing your praises.
He loves you.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
We had a busy We had a busy day up
in Richmond County. It was good. We saw a number
of businesses and the chamber and the Rotary and everything
else that was. It was a good day in the
fourth Congressional district, the best congressional district in the world,
not necessarily because of the member who represents them, but
because of the good people.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Very good. We got to tee it up, man, before
it gets too cold.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
One of these games, one of these times, one of
these Yes, we'll look forward to it.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
We'll look forward to Hey, how about speaking of that,
how about Sefflers standing on the award. You're the guy
who's made millions of dollars. I don't know if you've
talked about this already standing on the awards, Man. The
emotion that that is. I got emotional watching that. That
is how great this country is. And sometimes we get
so focused on all the stupid things we forget just
what a great nation it is. And you saw that
(12:45):
in Scottie. Seffler, by all appearance, is a great American,
great guy. His his emotion, Uh, receiving the gold Man,
I thought that was just special.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
And I gotta tell you, I don't care if you
play golf, you understand what kind of for it it
takes to shoot sixty two. That's somebody who was trying
to win the gold medal, and I don't care how
you stack it.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
That is not an easy task.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
That takes incredible amount of concentration slash stool to do that,
and for him to do that and pull out the
gold was fantastic, no question.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
To do it anytime is amazing. To do it on
the back nine, chasing down an Olympic gold medal on
the weak, Yeah, those.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Guys have ice in their veins. Congressman, I don't. It's
something I'm not familiar with. It's crazy. Yeah, cool stuff,
all right, Congressman Jim Jordan, thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
We'll see him. Man traffick in weather together from day
and night. Heating and cool
