Speaker 1 (00:00):
There was an article.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
It was somebody on social media posting her annual back
to school supply pilgrimage to see how much the restocking
for the new school year would cost. Your kids start tomorrow,
josh Mine starts on Thursday. So here we are. We
are in the throes of this. And guess what she
(00:22):
talked about. The receipt totaling over one hundred and seventy dollars.
That was for dry erase markers, folders, notebooks, glues, sticks, tissues, paper, towels,
and other items from the list that was not included.
We're like backpacks, lunchboxes, and other items. Because when I
saw one hundred and seventy dollars, I go, oh, wouldn't
(00:43):
that be nice if that's all it cost to get
them back in school.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
You start adding the other stuff, and.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
We are right in the middle of this craziness that
is our economy, that is in the toilet right now.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
It is unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
I tell you, I get so thankful that my in
laws to help out. Well, they basically get all the
kids' school supplies, and it's I mean, the money we
save on that alone, I'm incredibly grateful for. I mean
it's like you might as well just write me a
check for like two hundred and fifty bucks.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
You know, right, it's very nice. It's glorious, you know what.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I like what we're hearing from the Great Kamala Harris
is on day one, her focus is going to be
tackling the economy.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
And I'm going, why can't you do something about that?
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Now you've been with this boob of a boss of
yours for three and a half years, and that's what
you're gonna gaslight the American people about. Now you're gonna say,
on day one, my focus will be attackling the economy.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Why what does that? What does that look like?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
She?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
As far as I know, it looks like BS is
what it looks like? Well no, but I mean, what
is the plan? And that's been the whole problem. She
doesn't do interviews, the press doesn't hold her accountable. She has,
you know, no ideas listed on her even her campaign website.
It's just a lot of word salad and no details,
(02:11):
no substance behind it whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Congressman Jim Jordan is joining us. Now, Hey, Congressman, and
I know you're doing okay. I'm sure I know you
sharing our frustration with it. I think we're on what
are we on day nineteen or something like that. Since
she's announced twenty one something like that, she still has
not spoken to the press other than like the one
question the other day when she came over right before
(02:34):
it was on the tarmac the press that was about.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
It was about walls'len stolen valid.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
So, I mean, these two are the biggest jokes on
the planet. And there's all of this on social media everywhere.
This is getting harder and harder. And I don't know, congressman,
if you deal with this as well, it's getting harder
and harder to actually see what's on socials and go, Okay,
that's real, that's real.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Okay, that's not real. That's not real. I mean it is.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
It is crazy. They're a speculation that those two are
not even going to be the two that ultimately Trump
is going to be running against. There's that speculation. This
is so nuts right now. But welcome to the show.
Thanks for coming on.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Yeah, there's a lot in there. I'll tell you. What's
real is the cost of goods and services. I mean
we all know that and this, and you know, if
she talks about quote, tackling the economy. What you going
to do tackle it and make it worse? I mean,
because they're going to raise taxes if they win this election.
We know that's coming because the tax cuts are that
we're enacted in twenty seventeen are up for reutimization. So
they're going to raise tax cuts or raised taxes I say,
(03:39):
not renewing the tax cuts. But contrast their press availability
to that of President Trump and vice presidential candidate JD. Bans.
They're willing to talk to anyone, take any tough questions.
They're willing to be there in front of the American people.
After all, they if they get the opportunity to lead
our country, they want to know. They want the country
to know what they're going to do, and they're going
(03:59):
to do what they said. I mean, that's how our
great system works until now, and what the press is
doing to accommodate, you know, their nominee and their vice
president on them just doing their scripted, scripted rally, scripted speeches.
I guess someone even said there they're more a concert
with a little political remarks at the end. Someone's head
(04:20):
over the weekend and I'm still trying to figure out,
like I can remember different issue here, but I can
remember August thirteenth, we're starting school. I mean that I
remember we started like a couple of days before the
Memorial Day weekend. And now it's like, seemed like school
starts so early. But of course the costs to get
your kids clothes and supplies and everything else is through
(04:41):
the book.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
And there's also another article today, Congressman that dropped how
much do full time workers have to make hourly to
afford a two bedroom apartment? It is shameful. What has
happened to our country? This is not the America that
we all know. Full time workers have to earn twenty
dollars and eighty one cents an hour to afford a
(05:02):
two bedroom apartment, according to this National Low Income Housing
Coalition and the Coalition on Homelessness and the Housing in Ohio.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
That's more than forty grand a year.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Otherwise, a you have to have a roommate for sure,
which okay, a lot of people do that anyway, But
just the fact that you have to do this particular
thing in order to even you know, afford a two
bedroom apartment. Forget about if you ever want to try
to own a house. Oh my gosh, forget it. Yeah,
the American dream is squashed under this current leadership. And
(05:37):
by the way, you know Biden saying Trump's not going
to go quietly and all, It's just like, what are
you talking about.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
He's not the one in office.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
It is so bizarre what is coming out of the
White House right now?
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Man, Yeah, yeah, And it's this whole campaign. I think
you're right, this whole campaign. Someone said it it's economy,
border crime, ebc. And we got to focus on them
the economy, what they've done to the price of goods
and service. Who went stable prices to this record inflation,
Try to take your family out to dinner seamato cost.
So we got that. Of course, we got the border issue,
which is I think the second when you do pulling
(06:08):
on the second most important issue to the American people.
And then of course there's this crime element that is
that is real. Like I've said this many times on
the program, we went from a secure border to no border,
safe street to record crime, two dollars gas, the four
dollar gas, stable prices to record inflation, and Americans feel
that that's what's on the ballot in eighty What is
in eighty seven days? I think eighty eight days to
(06:30):
the election. That's what's on the ballot. That's what this
election is about. And I think if we say focused
on those issues, president Trump's going to be our next president.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
A Congressman Jordan, I want to talk to you about
a couple of things. I'll start with you want to
get to the bottom of the immigration history of that
Pakistani national who plotted to kill Trump and that Iranian plot.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
What can you tell us about that?
Speaker 3 (06:52):
What do you what have you learned in right now
and what are you seeking to learn?
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Well, we want to know all the facts. We've been
doing this on a number of people. We want to
know the facts on the individual who killed Lake and Riley.
We want to know the facts on all of it.
Was called the A File. We want to get this
information on all these is why we've subpoened at the
Department Homeland Security trying to get this information. We're going
to be releasing a series of reports that it shows
(07:19):
as much as information as we've been able to gather
about what's going on here. We released a report two
weeks ago where ninety nine of the people on the
Terrorist Watch lists who come into the country, our government
doesn't know where they're at. I mean, that's coming out.
They're saying that at the time they came in, they
weren't they weren't coming up on the terrorist watches. Since
then they have been in many cases, But where are
those individuals at? Because that is a huge concern if
(07:42):
we don't know the people bad guys. We let in
ten million migrants into your country in three years and
seven months of the Biden administration. Ten million migrants come in.
You know, some bad guys are getting in. And when
ones come in who were on the terrorist watch list
and you can't account for them, that is a problem.
And so we're trying to get information on all these individuals,
including the guy who was looking to do harm to
(08:02):
President frul.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
And finally, I saw a video clip of you. You
gave a great speech in Court de Laine, Idaho, on Friday,
and I wanted you, you know, kind of touch on
because I thought your message was inspirational. But you know,
we got as it's easy to get frustrated, it's easy
to get angry. But if you, as you said, keep
(08:26):
the faith and just know that what makes our country
the best, what what what we're great at.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
We can overcome anything.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
But it's just I feel like some people have given
up or some people are just like I'm done. I
don't want to get involved on a local level politically.
I don't want to get involved in politics. I've just
I just don't believe in the system anymore. What's your
message for this people?
Speaker 4 (08:50):
It's it's still the greatest country going, you know. I
think I said related at speech. My favorite scripture Versus
two Timothy four to seven, and Paul tell Timothy, fight
the good, fight, finish the course, keep the faith. And
I tell people I love that verse because of the
action in it. Americans aren't wimpy tenid people. We're Americans.
We fight, we finish, we keep faith with the things
(09:11):
that make our country a special place. And if you
wonder how good this country is. And maybe we talked
about this last week. I can't remember, but I said
this in that that speech. Sare a quartelaine. I said,
just watch Scottie Scheffler when he has presented the gold
medal on the awards stand here is the best player
in the world, one millions of dollars this year alone.
But when he's standing on that award stand and sees
(09:32):
the American flag and our national anthem. He is just
the emotion that comes down. It made me want to
cry that that is how special this place is. And
if we remember that and focus on these issues, I
think the right people are going to win this election.
We're going to get this country up back on the right.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
So Congressman Tonight, Elon Musk is hosting a special with
UH with President Trump right on at eight o'clock, live conversation.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I gotta tell you.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
In the article it reads, Musk says the interview will
be quote unscripted with no limits on subject matter. I
am nervous, I am anxious. I am experiencing anxiety.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Chris. I'm just like, oh no, I know, I know.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
God bless Elon Musk. You talk about someone who defends
the First Amendment, what he has done. You may have
saw the news last week. This is this organization garm
is discontinued. This was this organization that we thought were
violating any trust laws and colluding to keep people, to
keep companies from advertising on conservative websites, conservative platforms, conservative companies,
(10:41):
and they're out of business. And the first guy to
tell our commute tell me about this was I'm meeting
with Elon Musk with Speaker McCarthy and he told me,
I will always remember this. He said, garm is harm.
And we investigated this, we found out what they were
up to, and they're now going out of business, thank goodness.
And it's because people like Elon mun who are descending
the First Amendment and pushing back on this censorship from
(11:04):
the Biden administration, think how.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Bad that our situation would be.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
And look, we we can see the bad in it
because people like you are so close to everything that's
going on and all of the deception and the deceiving
and the spinning that we see from the left constantly
concerning for instance, just on a side note, tampon, Tim
who you know whatever? It was like you saw the
(11:29):
spin there when Hillary Clinton is quoted as saying, I
think it's great that he's providing free tampons for students. Well,
you know you left out the part where it's they
put it in the boy's bathroom.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
You forgot that part.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
I mean, we're witnessing that, you know, every single day,
we're seeing that, and like myself and Josh, because we
we dig so deep with what we're doing and what
we talk about, and you you're so connected to everything
going on. It is it Can you imagine the world
we would even be in right now had Eli Musk
not bought Twitter.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
It is, it is. It is staggering when you think
about that. I don't know if he's a conservative.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
I feel like maybe he's a constitution guy first and foremost.
I don't know him. I've never met him or what
have you. You have, but I'm not sure where he
stands on that. It sure feels like he is. But
I'm not saying, look, he's on our side necessarily or
a conservative or what have you. I just know that
it feels like free speed. He's a free speech absolutist
and it really comes through. And man, do I thank
(12:29):
God that he was able to purchase that and be
part and let us at least, you know, have that
right now.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
It's crazy, no well said, and he's look, he's on
the side of the First Amendment. If he's on the
side of the First Amendment, frankly, he's on our side
because right now it is the left and what what
what people have called the censor Taibian Schellenberg or other
journalists on the side of the First Amendment, but they
have called the censorship industrial complex, and so yeah, he
(12:56):
is on the side of the First Amendment, which makes
him on our side or makes us on him side
his side, I guess you could say, but that's the
side on the Constitution, and that's you know, let's let's
be let's be with the Constitution, let's be with the
Bill Rights, and then let's get this good common sense policies.
The American people have common sense and they understand the
things that Tim Wallas has done were ridiculous, and I
think that's going to come through as well.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Should be some fireworks tonight as we watch this. Yeah,
I hope not too many though, if you know what I'm.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Saying, So yeah, absolutely, it'd be great. Yeah. Congressman Jim Jordan,
thanks for joining us.
