Speaker 1 (00:00):
I man, I saw. I don't know. My wife turned
me onto this thing.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
She goes, uh, try cause she knows I like it,
but I can't eat it every day. But anyway, she goes,
try it put some everything bagels seasoning in it, and
then she goes also an avocado in it as well.
And I did that, and the last two mornings I've
had that for breakfast and it is oh so, but

(00:27):
you don't like you don't like cottage cheese.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
So and I don't really like avocado.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
So they that's and two for you. It's like swinging
a miss. But that is in case anybody is a
cottage cheese fan. And then I also have Today I
had a banana and some strawberries on the side with it,
so I had some fruit and I had that for breakfast.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
But that is protein packed. I mean it is. It
stays with you so long.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I did that before I got out of the yard
and started doing stuff and I finished, I was like,
I'm completely I'm not even hungry.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
You know, after you finish, it's so good.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
That bagel Everything bagel seasoning is the it is the bomb.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
And we have like a big old thing of it.
I try to find stuff to put it on. It's
so good man, you like everything bagel.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
I think I've had one. I don't really remember what
it tastes like.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yeah, tastes like everything. You know, there's a lot of
there's a lot of.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Things that taste like s that I you know that
couldn't be they're included in everything.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, No, it's it's uh, it's good if there wasn't
anything to stay that you remember.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
A big talk class of No.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
But what.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Ohio ranks among the top three states with best drivers
in the country, according to Forbes, And I was even
kind of lamenting. I'm like, well, they're not driving in
front of me in the state of Ohio, especially today
on the way in. So yeah, I'm trying to figure
this out. How do we end up with these kinds

(02:05):
of ratings. I'm trying to figure out how that works.
I don't believe any of these ratings. I think they're
idiots everywhere. I have driven through Chicago during rush hour
multiple times. Ah, it makes two seventy look like a
horse and buggy barking lot.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Yeah, it's insane. You're going ninety because if you don't,
you're going to kill somebody. Because you're going to cause.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
The accident for not slowing down right right.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Ohio ranked is the state with the second best drivers,
with a relatively low percentage reporting texting while driving in
the past month.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Well this is all self reporting.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Changing lanes without signaling.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Oh please, I did both of those already.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Today and uh speeding close to twenty miles an hour
over the limit check.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I completed the trifecta on my way into work today.
I'm not lying.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Tennessee took the number one spot as the state with
the best drivers, followed by Pennsylvania at three, Florida at four.
Joja at five ojo omama.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
So there it is. I was telling you earlier too.
I went in. I went in today.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
I was one of the people that went and bought
double the toilet paper that I normally would. I also
bought a big old thing of paper towels. And I
also bought twice as much coffee as I normally would.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
See, you're feeding into the fear man.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
This headline shoppers are panic buying toilet paper, and midport
strike experts say there's no need. Experts who are the
experts A and B? And look, I know that it's
probably going to be down the line. Here's what I'm
kind of guarding against. Tell me, if this makes sense
to you, everybody else who's going to be panic buying
and they're all going to buy it all up and

(04:04):
then I'm not gonna So I was like, well, let
me get ahead of this, or let me at least
be in those people.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Because dude, there are a lot of people doing this.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
I saw there's a couple people I think we met
one of the guys out at Mirfield that I saw
posts last night and it was in Costco and it
was empty where he was at. I don't know which
Costco he was at, but dude, he was where the
water it was. I bought like like two huge things
of water too, But he was there, and he's going,

(04:34):
you know, and then and then there are other people
that were posting pictures. It wasn't just them going, yeah,
they're a little skinny on supplies here at Sam's Club
or whatever. Now I didn't go to either of those places.
I went to Kroger down the street from my house.
But I started thinking, if a lot of people start
doing this, then they're going to create that gaping hole

(04:54):
in the product.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Unless I'm wrong, there's a media.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
I think the media talking about this story is going
to create the fear effect. And I'm not saying I
printed the story for a reason. I knew we were
going to talk about it. That's not what I'm saying.
But the media is creating that fear effect, you know.
And this administration is showing no signs of any common

(05:20):
sense to get this done because they just keep blindly
supporting those workers, those dock workers, and just saying they
deserve a fair fair share. Well, they need a fair share.
How is fifty percent raise not a fair share? How's
fifty percent raised not a fair share? Yeah, I don't

(05:40):
understand they're holding out for seventy seven.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Somebody explain it. Plus the automation. I think that's a
big sticky point with them too.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
By the way, update on just how rich mister long
Island shorman guy or dock worker guy union president is
He's got a seventy six foot yacht, he owns a Bentley,
and he's got a house that's over six thousand square feet.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
He's in the high seven hundreds for his salary, so
he's getting money from other places he.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Has to be.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Yeah, there was a quote, I hope you have some
toilet paper stock pile. It started Sam's costcar depleted. This
is one user saying on x with a photo of
near empty shelves. My husband and I went to Costco
tonight the no toilet paper. Another user posted the remaining
paper towels are flying off the shells. So many people
were grabbing two or three big packages. Here's one thing

(06:29):
that I told you. I don't know that I one
percent by It's like, don't I don't trust anybody anymore,
especially in the media who are generating these stories, especially
when they're calling them experts. It's just like, shut up
already with that.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Now.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I hope that I'm wrong, Okay, make fun of me.
I don't care whatever. I'm not trying to add to
any kind of you know this, this this craziness that's
going on right now. I'm not trying to add to
the panic. I'm just saying I did that because of
the panic that is already being created. I didn't want

(07:05):
to be left out and going geem any you know what,
And we really needed those items anyway, and I was
gonna wait until this weekend. I try to wait as
long as I can. I always tell my every weekend
when we're going to the store, she'll bring that up,
and I say, well, let's if you know, we don't
really need it right then I'm like, let's see if
it's on sale.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
If it's on sale, we'll grab it. If not, we'll wait.
We don't really need it yet.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
We've got, you know, four rolls in the downstairs bathroom,
and we got ten rolls upstairs, so we're good for
another week at least, you know, kind of a thing.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
That's the way I kind of ration it out.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
So I don't know. I don't know that it's a
Here's the other thing I felt like was kind of
a clue. When I went in to Kroger. There are
signs hanging there that says, due to high volume demand,
please limit your purchase to sick of these items. And

(08:02):
so as a result, I was like, six, I mean,
that seems like a lot.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
So then I thought, I don't think there really is
a str I.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Think I think places like Kroger and all these grocery stores,
I think they want people to believe in this sphere
because I think it drives up sales. Then they can
start raising the prices on things all we've got, they've
got it on the shelves there. Well it's two dollars
more per unit. Who cares.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I don't believe any of this nonsense.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Hey, Frank, welcome to the show.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
Hey, longtime listener from John Stam, Hey, I got a
comment for you. I heard on the CNBC today that
all paper products are made in the United States. Your tepee,
your paper towels. So no one asked to bum rock
the stores and stuck up.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Okay, very good. I appreciate that. Thank you. Thanks Frank,
love your hot sauce. It's really good. Jerry, welcome to
the show.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
Yeah, you guys are talking Raalvi's dock workers turning down
my social security going to get a big increase two
point nine percent?

Speaker 5 (09:06):
How great is that?

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Yeah, that's why, right, you got to be kidding me.

Speaker 7 (09:14):
I know, I mean, well, survive and then they send
money all over the world. But social security, and why
the why is all these illegal aliens and other people
getting social Security? That is money the workers have put
into the system, not and then why there should be

(09:36):
a separate system if you want to get money to
all these people that don't want to work, create a
new system. But don't call it social security because we've
donated hard earned money for that. But no, they just
give it to everybody, and that's why then they say, well,
we're running out of social Security.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Sorry, I love it. Thanks Jerry, Well at the point,
some good points there.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
You know, I forget I lost my trains on a
little bit on what I was going to say to Jerry.
But you know it's this is normally where in these trenks,
the workers are the sympathetic ones. I think I think
if you asked the majority of most Americans, they're not sympathetic.

(10:24):
You turned down a fifty pay increase. Yeah, I think
the vast majority of Americans are not on their side.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Scill Legacy Retirement Group, dot Com, fun Lines and Chris,
Welcome to the show.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Hey, how's it going, Hey Man doing okay?

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Thank you for calling, Thanks for listening.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
I was listening to your comments about toilet paper and
everybody running out of toilet paper. And I will tell
you three months ago, someone at a party told me
about it Beday, and I thought it was funny and
we all laughed about it. But that was game changer.
I bought a Beday on Amazon thirty six dollars and
game changer. You don't use as much toilet paper and

(11:03):
unbelievable for your listeners.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
I was gonna say, you still have to use some,
but you're just saying it cuts way down on it.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
I get it. I understand what you're saying.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Now. Okay, oh amazing. You just dry yourself off with
a little a few sheets of toilet paper, that's all. Yep.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
No, hey, let me ask you a dude. Let me
ask you a question. Uh does it have a power
washer mode?

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Just for fun?

Speaker 5 (11:25):
It has? Mine has three different modes. Mine has even
temperature controlled settings.

Speaker 7 (11:31):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
You can spend whatever you want, but there's one you
add to your normal toilet seat. There're thirty six bucks
on Amazon. And even my wife was skeptical before I
put it on the toilet. She's like, I'm not going
to use that thing. Now she loves it.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yeah, yeah, man, amazing. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Plus when you're done, if you're thirsty, you can just
grab a quick drink too.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
It's like, wow, thanks, I.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Want the stuff that'll I want.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
I want it so hard that it'd be like strip
the paint off the side of your else power washing.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Oh you get you can do that?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Oh yeah, I'm sure I can. Jimmy rig it to
the point where if.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Nothing else, just put your thumb over it, you know
how you do that on the hose.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
And it's had somebody bite something over my house and
I use it for the first time.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
They get blown head first into the mirror. Yeah, living
off the toilet due to the mirror.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
So they're over right and they go in there and
you get everybody go.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Okay, care together round around. You're like, they've used it.
They used my day.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
That's great traving and weather together from day and night,
heating and cooling products and temperature pro Columbus Johnny, by
the way, earlier when you we came on the air
that that whole thing that happened on thirty three got me.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
I got stuck in that man. I was like, I
was like, wow, oh, I was cursing.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
I was like, you gotta and then you because I
couldn't tell what exactly was happening except a bunch of
people standing around staring at you going turn that way.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
