Speaker 1 (00:10):
The hard hitting news. That's what we do, the hard
hitting news.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Dorito's is gonna open its first ever restaurant.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
That headline had me hooked.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
I was like, wait a minute, what could they possibly
do at Dorito's restaurant. It's the first ever Dorito's after
dark restaurant, introduced on Friday at Crypto dot Com Arena,
which is in Los Angeles. And so it's not just
chips that'll be available. They're gonna serve everything from margarita's
(00:43):
and veggie dumplings to ice cream California rolls, all with
the Dorito's twist. Now, I love Dorito's. I don't eat
them very much, but I love them. And I don't
know you hear some people swear by like Dorito Chicken.
Where you Yeah, it's like a dust almost.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Stand the whole Dorito craze like that out.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
My son.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
Chids will enjoy a family sized bag in about two minutes.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
I'm lucky if I get one stinking Dorito out of
that bag.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
But traditional nacho, cool ranch taco.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
What are we talking? We go both ways in my family. Okay, yeah,
some of the other flavors, the Liman whatever, No, I
don't take on that as much.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
So it's got to be nacho. Taco flavors not bad.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah, Taco Dourito's are pretty good, So it's got to
be nacho or cool ranch.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Nacho cool ranch pretty much ninety nine percent of our
Dorito by it.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
If I see taco Doritos every now and then.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
I'll I'll get a bag. But yeah, once in a
blue moon, it's got the sombrero on the Oh. Yes, yes,
it does different color. It takes you back because it's
that original logo of the old logo. When you stare
at it, I know you're like, man, I just I
wish it would come back permanently. Dorito's Flaming Hot Liman
late night Rita is on the menu. Dorito's Spicy sweet
(02:06):
Chili ramen Rito is on the menu. A guy really
loves Dorito's is Congressman Jim Jordan, who's joining us right now.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
He's like, what do.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
You mountain doing? Doritos diet a champions guy? Now you
can go. Now you can go get that stuff at
a restaurant. You gotta be kidding me.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Right, there's uh Dorito's Flaming Hot Nacho veggie dumplings. So
they're pan fried dumplings filled with vegetables and a flaming
hot nacho chili crisp that you can dip them in.
And uh, look there's vegetables in there, Congressman, that's kind
of healthy.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
Right, It's gotta be good. But it'll still cause, you know,
it'll still with with with the Biden Harrison place, and
it'll still cost you an arm and a leg to
get him some mountain doing Doritos for goodness sake, exactly,
even if they throw in some vegetables.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, I never I'll never forget being at the store.
The first time I ever in my life a regular
bag of Dorito's was marked six ninety nine for one bag.
And I was in the chip aisle and I'm staring
at it, going, I ha to mismark this, you know,
And I was, I was staring, and uh, oh, are
(03:16):
you there? He's gone. He's gone.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Well, he's gonna have to call in a row man.
I don't know what happened.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
He must not. He really hate Dorito's. Like, guys, I
don't want to talk about Dorito's anymore. I'm out. I
can't blame him, kid, he's just kidding.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
But yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I never will forget that, standing there going what just happened?
You know, I was like staring, going, I it went
from zero to a million dollars in like light speed.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Oh, we keep losing him.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
I just saw him on hold and he dropped off again.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I don't know what's must be.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
I know what it is. It's Kamala. She sabotaged his phone.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
I think he's just had it. I think he's done
with the Shenanigans.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
He's moving on. He's like, guys, I don't call to
talk about BS with you.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Guys.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
The world's on fire.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, hold on, I'll get to section three folve of
the fourteenth.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
That can wait.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
That'll wait after we get the Dorito talking.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
That can wait. We got plenty of time with the congressman.
If he ever calls.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Back, Oh man, that's gonna be sad if we've lost
him for a good.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah, it's like, oh, the two minutes you had him,
you talked to him about Dorito's nice job. Yeah, ding bat,
Dorito's nacho cheese Texas style loaded nachos. Yes please, there's
brisket on that one. And then Dorito's nacho cheese crunched
tastic vanilla cone. No no, no, no, no, no, you
don't put Dorito's with ice Cream's wrong with these people?
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Even I like I twisted, but I don't like this.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Good grief. Congressman. We were just kind of joking. We said, oh,
he's had it with the Dorito talk. He's like, I'm
out of here, you guys, I can't talk about that.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
I have no idea what happened with my phone, but
I just grabbed the other one. Sorry about that, but
it sounds like you. It sounds like you stayed on
the Dorito's restaurant then there for a while.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Well, we were just talking about I strategically planned that to, uh,
you know, kind of bring you in and have you
get some sort of a comment on it, because you know,
it's been a couple of weeks where we really haven't
kind of thrown you, you know, a little bit of
a twist.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
You're like, man, I never know what we're going to
talk about.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
When I said, so, so you want to start with
that question, Josh, because we had a listener Congressman call
us it's been about fifteen twenty minutes ago, and he
said his question was you know he's yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
His name was Brian Congressman Jordan.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah, he said that if Trump.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
Wins the election, Jamie Raskin wants to invoke section three
of the fourteenth Amendment. Now, what is section three of
the fourteenth amend for those who don't know, it's the
provision to the Constitution which disqualifies former government officials from
holding office if they took an oath to support the
Constitution and then betrayed by engaging in an insurrection. He
wanted to know, is there any validity of that and
(06:01):
could that actually happen?
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Congressman jordaned the floor as yours sir.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
Well, remember the Supreme Court ruled on states who were
using the same clause as the Fourteenth Amendment at attempting
to keep President Trump off the ballot. I mean, the
logic of the crazy left was the best way to
beat President Trump is not to let him play the game.
Thank goodness, the United States Supreme Court said nine to
zero you cannot do that. So Supreme courts ruled on this,
(06:25):
saying you can have these individual states doing it. What
Congress made I mean Jamie Raskin, he did, I mean,
I know Congress and Raskin debate him all the time.
They may try it. He said things. He said a
number of things about this. And of course, if President
Trump wins, which I think is going to happen, who
knows what the Democrats will try to do on January sixth,
when you have to certify the electors and go from there. Now,
(06:48):
there was legislation passed last Congress that made it more
difficult to object to the accounting of the electors and
accepting it and approving the electors from the respect active
state on January sixth. That was done by Democrats. Is
chaining a handful of Republicans as much Democrats voted for that,
and and and change. So I think it's covered to do.
(07:10):
But mister Raskin has indicated he's open to those, Uh
you know that that type of any type of maneuver
that would keep Preident Trump by the White House. I
don't think it'll happen, But I mean, I don't think
what that will happen. I do think what's gonna happen
is President Trump's gonna win. He's gonna be in the way.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
But but but Jim Jordan, I thought that not not
respecting democracy is the I mean, you you're telling me
that Democrats would prevent a rightful election President Trump from
returning to office.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
That sounds almost undemocratic.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Yeah, it's uh the double standard, you know. Uh, you're
you're also seeing where the Democrats, now, the Democrat Justice
Department Civil Rights Division is is going after Governory Duncan
because he's trying to make sure that only citizens are
on their voter registration roles and therefore voting in the election.
Our Secretary of State also got our secretary of State
(08:01):
also got a letter from the Civil Rights Division and
Frank you called that texture State. Rosa called me last
week and we talked about this. So we're looking at
that issue as well. So this is the Justice Department
under the Democrats, you know, the Party of Democracy, going
after people for simply making sure that our votes are
not weakened and cheapened by allowing non citizens to participate
(08:23):
in our federal elections.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Congressman, they'll stop at nothing. It is un there tireless.
When when any group of them maybe begin to tire,
it is somebody else who steps in and starts throwing
everything at the wall. Scene of anything will stick. Nothing
sticks with these people. Yet that does not keep them
from trying. There's no question, So how about Johnson. We
(08:48):
saw speaker Johnson was on with Kristin what is her name,
Kristin Welker, Yeah, yeah, and she starts bringing up Trump's
medical records and he said, look, they're irrelevant. The people
of the United States don't care about this. They're desperate
the sinking in the polls. His health is on display.
(09:09):
I mean, we're watching this guy run circles around people
that are half his age. And you know all about
this congressman. You're around Trump a lot, or have been
around him a lot, and still are to a degree.
But it is absolutely again to the two the two
faced version, which is to say, it seems like everybody
(09:30):
involved with regard from the top down, but for them
to bring that up, and it's the very woman who
represents a network and then the rest of the other
mainstream media networks that did nothing but try to hide
Biden's declining. We watched him decline over the years, and
they've done nothing but try to They did nothing but
(09:51):
try to hide that and say, nope, Chip shape, everything's
fine with him along with Kamala and everyone else.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
And now they're going to run, try to run this
up the flagpole. This is ridiculous.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
Yeah, sure is. Yeah, they did everything to protect uh
Joe Biden and hide you know, his obviously diminishing health.
Uh and and yet and they're going to attack President Trump.
The guy who took a bullet for goodness sake, was
shot in the ear, gets up and and and just
a true leadership. And I thought, just amazing way told
(10:23):
the American people to keep fighting. I mean, and that
guy's got help. You got to be kidding me. His scheduled,
by the way, you all know, his multiple events every
single day's unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Yeah, he's incredible.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Hey, hey, Congressman Jordan, just real quick or why I
got you?
Speaker 1 (10:42):
I saw JD.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Vance as absolutely Rack Marca on this week, and dude's
just a handful. Can you imagine we have a Congressman Jordan,
we have a media that goes well, well, it's only
a handful of apartment buildings that were taken over by
dangerous arm. Venezuelan gags, why is President Trump exaggerating? And
(11:07):
his response was perfect, perfect what Martha listened to yourself.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
JD is going to make a great president.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
I'm telling you the president JD. JD is the uh
you know he's the he's he's the old adage it
never hurts to have smart people in charge. And JD
is doing just a phenomenal job as our United States
senator and as our VP candidate. I think just just unbelievable.
And uh, you go back to the debate and every
(11:36):
time he goes on TV, takes on the left and
does a tremendous job. And he's going to be a
great vice president for President Trump.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Hey, so your response in in closing here, Congressman, your
response to Secretary may Orcis calling on Congress to fund
femous disaster relief fund for future store.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
I know, I just said I wish we had about
an hour and a half.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
With you today because there's a whole stack of stuff
here that I was like, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (12:04):
I.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Just don't understand that this is How do these.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
People how do they close their eyes that night?
Speaker 2 (12:12):
How do they they It's the absence of self awareness
with these every single elements of anything that they say.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
It's the most absurd thing ever.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
Yeah, what did you say, Josh? You like those line
Doritos better than.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (12:28):
I I prefer line Dorino's over may Orcis all day,
any day.
Speaker 5 (12:34):
Even though those are your least favorite. I think you
said at the start, you said, you know you like
the Taco and the ranch guy. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Yeah, but but I mean, honestly, I've never seen somebody
who's in charge of protecting the homeland actively destroy the homeland.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
It is incredible every movie.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
Yeah, I don't. I was asked, I think once about
the Myorcists, and you know you just like you can't
really name one thing the guy's done well, no one
than it is a bad thing after bad things. So yeah,
it'd be good when he's gone. H when this administration
is finished and President Trump puts someone in a homeland
security who will do the job, right.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
I mean, how about how about we uh use some
of the money that we continue I mean, it's the
obvious answer. Yet they just want to continue to act like,
oh no, that's not really an option to use any
of that money.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
It's marked for something else.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
And the speaker, the speaker I think has been clearly
as indicated that there was money appropriated. Uh you know,
because some people know all the Congress needs to come
back and and you know, borrow more money and then
appropriated for for my workers to use. But there was
money already appropriated, so the Speaker has been clear on
that and says we're not coming back until after President
Trump wins the selection.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Congressman Jim Jordan, thanks for joining us. We appreciate that.
Speaker 6 (13:45):
Guys on us tonight traffic and weather together
