Speaker 1 (00:00):
So if there are kids around, watch out.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
But I don't know where you're going, but you're scaring
me already.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Well, when I saw this, I go, what how How
is there such thing as a bluetooth sex toy? Because
they are out there a bluetooth sex experts are warning
listen to this that Bluetooth sex toys are a prime
target for hackers. So you're going to hack First of all,
what my package? What? What exactly? Why is Bluetooth involved

(00:29):
in this? I don't I don't understand why you need
that kind of technology hook to that kind of thing.
But four years ago, hackers locked users into one of
those belts, if you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
One of those belts starts with a.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Ch and they locked them into and they demanded a
ransom to unlock it. They they hacked into one of
those belts and the person that and they demanded ransom
to unlock it.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Bluetooth did that. I had never in my life heard
of this.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
It was one of those I know. That was one
of the things I was like, why is Bluetooth involved
at all in these things?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Why? And then it says devices could be caused to
overheat and hurt somebody as well. Then they're talking about
sensitive data could be stolen. What kind of data is
being stored in those toys? I'm like, what is going
on here? What has happened to our society? Chuck.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
I'm not a kind of sewer of these devices, so
I don't know. I'm uh, I'm I'm a little I'm
a little warried.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Especially.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
I don't know if you saw that that robot thing
I posted Australia. I think it was yesterday, But that's
what pops into my mind because you know how perverted
people are. Those robots eventually will become that kind of thing.
Now can you imagine if those are taken over by Bluetooth?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Yeah, I'm sure they are already are scary. The technology
has to be already integrated in something like that. It
has to be because Bluetooth has been around longer than
those things. Think about it, So when they're invented, it's
already has that aspect. I guarantee it there's Bluetooth something
attached to it. But I just don't understand that. And

(02:21):
it was like a study is coming to light from
the UK's Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, Well, who
are these experts that are studying this, and man, how
is a hacker?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Do you get somebody?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
And what government program is funding them?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Well it's UK, so who knows what they're doing over
there in the United Kingdom.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
But anyway, I saw that and went, you got to
be kidding me?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
What why?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
I so the remote thing?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Depending on what we're talking about, Okay, I understand that part.
I'll just leave it at that. I understand you got
somebody with you. No, okay, great, but bluetooth?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
What is bluetooth doing? And you can hack into it? What?
I still I'm so confused. I just don't get it. Man.
You know what, sometimes, dude, I am far from it.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I think I probably figure that out if you listen
to the show for any length of time.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
I am far from a prude, but I feel like
one when I read.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
That stuff like that. Yeah, I was like what And
I'm behind you? So I'm yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Wait and satisfy the whole comaniacs.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I'm gonna get off by cranking your knob just a
little beyond the breaking point.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Zach has way too many buttons at his disposal. You
know you only I mean Blue Tooth hooked up the
other day because that could be.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I hope not. Man, you can make something over heat
and hurt somebody.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Something wrong with people.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
I mean, just like relationships boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, that
kind of thing. The whole machinery thing has always eluded me.
I've never never uh you know, don't get that.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, So all right, I'm gonna I'm going to go
to the Legacy Retirement Group dot com phone lines and
welcome Doug to the show.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
And Doug, what do you got for me? Man? It
says here in the comments bluetooth? So what do we got? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (04:18):
I was just gonna explain what the purpose of the bluetooth.
The Bluetooth is just the modern way of remote control.
So if yeah, if it's a toy that goes on
one of you, the other person, okay, control of it.
So that's why there's bluetoth Now, I don't know how
you hack into it, and all I can figure the
data is maybe the associated app that you have to
download and sign up for. Maybe you have some personal

(04:39):
information and when you download the app. That's the only
thing I can think of.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
That's it. Okay, interesting, Okay, that makes sense, Doug, thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
The other person. So there are two people involved.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
When you're using something with a Bluetooth connection can be
can there are two people there?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Why do you need machinery to I don't get.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
It's an enhancement, and look it's not for everybody, but
I will say as far as the remote goes, that
makes sense.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
As far as Bluetooth is the way that you operate
the remote, that does make I'm just old. For me.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
An enhancement is some roses and a very white CD.
That's enhancing enough right there. You can't get enough your
You're my first, my last, my everything.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah,
