Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, there's something for me that doesn't land. When
you're talking about ballparks, and I'm talking about baseball baseball parks.
When you start getting really bougie with food at a ballpark,
it's weird tomorn.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Hot dog, soda, pop and beer. That's what you need.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
So what's new on the menus at ballparks for the
twenty twenty five MLB season? For instance, at Dodger Stadium,
listen to this the Slugger. It's a sixteen inch jalapeno
cheddar sausage dog. Right, Look at the look on your face.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
That no, it doesn't even know. That's too much, especially
on a hot day if you're out there in the
sun watching Baseball's that sounds heavy?
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Well, it's got cheddar cheet, white cheddar cheese, sauce, corn relish,
cilantro crema, crunchy tortilla strips. And then they also have
a smoked la barbecue platter, terioki home run platter, and
a chicken katsu club. When I go to the baseball park,
I uh, did chicken katsu club really? Really?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
What is kotsu?
Speaker 1 (01:14):
I don't even know. Congressman Jim Jordan might though, and
he's joining us.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Well, yeah, bougie, there you go.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Rotten beer? Man? Come on, this is this is apple pie,
This is baseball, hot dog, motherhood, apple pie, rosen beer,
and you know, and and and thanks the Good Lord
to living the greatest kind of what they're making it
too complicated, you know this stick with the tried and true.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
And I wonder is the average person going to a
baseball game really looking for the.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Well, what's it cost? That's probably about a twenty dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
They are going to hit you over the head if
you want a beer and a dog anyway, Yeah, what.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Is the caviare and wine? No? No, brod and deer
hot dog? Come on, this is a I go to.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
A baseball game, is somebody looks at me and goes,
do you have any gray poupon? I'm hitting them.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yeah, So listen to this. At Wriggly Field, so they
have a kim chi burger, right, a kim chi burger.
I'm like, what what a kim chi berger? They got
puffy tacos? You know, I don't say it doesn't sound right.
You're at a baseball game, right, and you're like, yes,
I'd like to get the puffy talk.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Especially at Wrigley Field. That's been around for like, you know,
since before we were a country playing baseball Wriggley Field,
and it's like you you don't olf some bleachers there
where you sit in like that's that's his old schools,
A guess, and that here's your servants. I can't remember
what you said. They're serving, Yeah, kim chi.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Kim chi burger. What the hell kim chi burger? What
there's a a Gibberrito sandwich on here. I swear it's Gibburritoto.
I don't know what that is. Gibburrito. There's chicken and waffles,
chicken and waffles.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
I'm like, what the way our congressman just began this segment, though,
it reminded me. You know, General Motors is going to
build a new presidential limo.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
I don't know. If you recall their old jingle for
Chevy many years ago, baseball hot dogs chev Yeah, they
have to do that again. That would be a winning
marketing right now.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
There's no losing with that. Absolutely. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Yeah, well sure, common sense is back in style with
and now I'm sounding totally partisan, but commentense is back
and stop President Trump talks about it with the party
common sense, the left which now controls the other party.
They're the party crazy thing. So yeah, let's go back
to the commentsants, beer, hot dogs, brought popcorn and peanuts.
You got a peanuts. That's that traditional. Sure have those
(03:37):
basics at the ballpark.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Simple. You gotta keep it simple. We could keep going
with that whole list, but I know you're you have
a you are on a you're on a time crunch today.
But I do want to bring up it was a
really cool seeing you front and center as Trump electifies
the crowd at the NCAA champion. Yeah, that was really cool. Congressman,
and people are going USA and that's in fill Hladelphia.
(04:00):
I might it is bluer than blue in Philadelphia, and yeah,
you're right in the middle of it. And uh uh man.
I I just thought, oh, Mark Wayne Malin there, I
saw Senator Malin was there. It's just like that was
a lot of fun watching there was to talk about.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Crowd loved the president. The President. I always say he's
got an athlete's mindset, and I think wrestling people, I
think Americans understand that he's a winner. Uh and wrestling people,
working class, middle class wrestling fans were there eighteen thousand
just cheering like crazy for him. And then the heavyweight
match was truly just one of those one of those
amazing moments in sports where the underdog who could wrestle
(04:38):
Gable Stevenson, who's Olympic champ, and that one of the
toughest guys on the sinking planet. He could wrestle him
ten times and and lose every time, but not Saturday night.
And I told the President, I said that Wyatt Hendrickson
beat Gable Stevenson because you were there. Because he's his
backgrounds with the Air Force Academy and he had one
extra year. He goes Oklahoma State for his last year
and then he's going to go serve in our military.
(04:59):
And he talked about his commander in chiefs there and
I said, he does not win if you're not there.
And it was just an amazing match to watch if
you like, if you like collegiate rustling. And the Buckeyes
did well. They took the bucket, finished stift, They had
a national champ. They did a great job.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah, And to see him when to see Hendrickson that
like when he when he won that match, and like
flipped on his back and was just I mean, it
was like, you know what, that reminded me of when
when when Balboa drops to his knees and there and
(05:33):
he's just going great and I was just watching that
and I I was guy, got chills. Congressman watching it.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Was amazing.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
It was amazing. Man, that was that was really cool.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
Yeah, only sports can do that, and it's it's special.
The intensity and the emotion in particularly the big moments
like that. It was really special. And for the President
to be there for that young man who's going to
go serve our country, it made it even better. And
so a fun night, a fun night for people there
who are in the wrestling community, which is a bunch
(06:07):
of crazy fans who really enjoy the night.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, we're watching, We're watching the craziness of social media
going crazy, all the misinformation, disinformed. I hate to steal
a term that we've been just beat over the head with,
but how can you not every It's getting to the
point where I almost have to carry around a sick
bag with me because when I'm want I try to
read social media. Everything on there now is you know,
(06:34):
anti Elon and anti Trump, and how everything that you know,
anything that is good in the world has nothing to
do with anything with this administration and how bad they're
screwing it up. It is. It is getting overwhelming reading this,
and I don't know your thoughts on that. I mean you,
I'm sure you're plugged in on all of that, but
(06:54):
your thoughts on.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
All of that, well, people see through it. You see
through it. Americans see through it. They appreciate President Trump's leadership.
They appreciate Elon Musk and what he's what he's doing.
I mean, he didn't have to do It's just like
President Trump. He didn't have to do this.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
But they're both.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Doing it because they love our country. They know the
world's a safer, better place when America leads. And they're
trying to stop the crazy spending and the crazy policies
that the left wants to embrace. And instead of being
praised for that, the left attacks I always.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Say you and you.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Instead of instead of working to stop the crazy spending
that Elon's identified, they just attack Elon Musk. And it
makes no sense because but that's just today's left and
they can keep it up now if they do illegal
things and do criminal things. Pam Bondi de turned General
said she's going to prosecute him, and rightfully so. When
they're burning Tesla's and going after Tesla dealerships, it's crazy
(07:42):
to see what the left is now engaged in.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Yeah, I'm here, and some of these people are even going, uh,
you know, it's the left. For so long, we're like,
you know, green this and green that and green this,
and now Eli's not he's not the darling anymore. They
don't love him, they don't love his product, and they're
all selling off their stuff now and buying combustible engines.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
And just think that it was just a week ago
that the capsule comes back with the four parachutes. That
is amazing, and he gets and what do they do, so, oh,
we're going to go burn up more Teslas on the
twenty ninth of March or whatever they're talking about. It.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
It's just wrong and the country knows it.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
It is. It is very wrong. I know we got
to cut you loose. But Congressman Jim Jordan, thanks for
jumping on with you.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Appreciate thank you.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
See you're all right. Take care
