Speaker 1 (00:08):
It was a straight up football scorer last night watching
my Reds. Hell yes, and it was game one of
a three game set. The Texas Rangers got their ass
kicked in Cincinnati, a great American ballpark last night.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Let me tell you, it was really nice.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
And we're talking fourth game into the season now, but
it was super nice man watching that happen.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
And I know you weren't.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Watching Chuck no no, but that's okay. I mean, but
it was a straight up clinic.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
It was a fluke.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I'm glad the Reds won, but let's see what happens.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
This next game.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Yeah, Yeah, that's a big score. Of course it is.
And there's no way they keep up that kind of momentum.
I understand as far as the scoring goes, but it
was good to see that because the offensive production, all
that does is feed and get create positivity and all
of those things that you need to begin to It's
a very very long season, we know that. As far

(01:08):
as games go in Major League Baseball, just like hockey.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I mean, it's so many games, but it's ebb and flow.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
And for them to do that, coming off of losing
to the Giants in that three game set, you know
they lost two of three there, so that it's just good.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
I just agree about the Wompons the same way I
do with the buck guys during football season. You know
it's great, but especially the younger and more inexperienced team
members are, the more I worry about. I don't get cocky.
You know, you had a great score. It's wonderful to
look at, but you got a long season to go.
Let's not go out there thinking I'm excellent and I

(01:45):
can't be beating and all that stuff your face.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
And there was a lot of guys who have been
there for a couple of years, so it's not like
you got brand brand, brand new guys that are just
into the league and have some false sense of whatever.
So well, there he is or there it is. And
I was saying there he is because I'm punching him up.
He's a radio voice for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Bob
mcgalligant joining us.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Now, what's up, man, You're gonna hold your breath for
the next one hundred and fifty eight games.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I knew that was coming. I love you, man.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Nothing excited about Opening Day is opening day, and then
come find me a playoff time.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, no, I understand what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
You know, and you bring up an interesting thing because
clearly between.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Now and then, there are a lot of games that
have to go by, there's no question.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
And it brings me to the question I was thinking
about as I was getting ready for the show today
and because there was this couples are using March madness
prenups to stop fighting. This is a literal story that
I was reading and I was laughing, and I thought,
you know, who would be a perfect guy to ask
about this would be one Bob mckelligant. And do you

(02:59):
like with your wife? I mean, how does that work?
As far as because I know you're a sports guy.
Clearly you and I share an affinity for the Steelers,
and I know you you know you're from Pittsburgh and
you I don't know if you're a Pirates fan or
or what have you, but I know you're a sports fan.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
How does she deal with that?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Because I started looking at what reading this, reading this
thing about couples using March madness prenups to stop fighting,
I mean, do you are you following march madness? Because
I really don't. I do take a break. As far
as basketball, goes and my wife puts up with it.
But if it's not hockey, it's baseball, it's both on
some nights. Then it's football and it's college football. I mean,

(03:38):
there's there's a lot going on. And my wife, she
is a saint, she's an angel man dealing with that
stuff because it's not her first choice.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Oh you let her control your remote?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
No, not necessarily, sometimes I do sometimes, but yeah, really yeah,
sometimes it's Saturday mornings basically because we'll end up watching
the cartoons, No, no, No, Pioneer Woman, the Kitchen, you know,
stuff on Food Network.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
See I like that stuff. I kind of do too,
quite frankly. Yeah, but I mean how does your wife do?
I mean, is she okay with it?

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Never asked?

Speaker 2 (04:19):
So you just do it? Yeah? The testosterony, Yeah, you
know what, you know what happens.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It goes Chuck Norris, research, it goes Chuck Norris, then
it goes Bob mcgallighan, right below Chuck. It just slightly below,
just barely below.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Yeah, Like I have to watch this Calgary Colorado game
because Colorado will be here Thursday.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
So is that what you use is at the angle?

Speaker 4 (04:45):
That's just truth. Truth always prevails.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Right right, I love it. I love it. I don't
know if I believe you, but I love it.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
How she's good about it, I'm I'm just kidding. She
she likes sports. Basketball is the one that we It's
ironically her face family was a basketball family. Her brothers
you know, played and one of her brothers was really
good at high school basketball players. So they were a
big basketball family. But that's what we watched the least
because I find it to be the least entertaining sport.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Same with me. Same with me. I am exactly the
same way I could.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
And I don't bet, so you know, and I'm not
even in an NCAA pool this year, so I have
zero interest.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Right, I don't give a flip about NBA.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
And I really don't follow college unless OSU is doing something,
which again I don't really follow college because they're they're
not doing anything yet Again this year, Hey, I'll go.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I'll go once in a while. It's something different, but
it's not like I scour a schedule and say, oh
my god, I've got to see this basketball game.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, just watching the highlights and so forth. I've had
more of a throw a watch in the college women
this year in the tournament than the guys. Their excitement
is just so high. It's so wonderful.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Chuck said it.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
You said it, man, Women's basketball got you going?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Who said, yes, I said, at the end, a women's
tournament has there's more excitement, more genuine enthusiasm there than
I think for the show boats on the male side.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yeah, yeah, okay, I mean fair enough, I guess. I
you know, I do know that your son pitches. I
know he plays baseball, so I know you're a big
baseball fan.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
So yeah, I mean it's the same with my saying.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
You mentioned. I'm a Pirates fan, so I haven't been
excited relevant for years, quite.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Frankly, neither of the Reds except for Ellie de la Cruz,
and they had a little blip of excitement last year,
and yeah, he's so on and so forth. But I
don't know, man, It's just I get excited this time
of year because everybody has that renewed hope except you,
of course, because you're Pirates fan.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Oh it's over already. They lost like three games in
a walk off to the Marrow. It's sober, you know.
I said to you about what are you going to
get excited about one hundred and fifty eight, like I
have zero excitement. Yeah, man, need to watch one. I
know it's going to happen. They have no payroll, they
have one guy. I watch it once every five days

(07:06):
to watch Paul Schmes pitch. After that, there's nothing, you.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Know what's exciting for me though. His stone is a
Reds fan and he plays the game now too, and
it's just fun to kind of have that thing, that
common denominator with him, an eleven year old and he's
his excitement and and so on, and him going, you know,
just talking about it.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
It's just the connection that is made.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
And much like hockey when he goes with me to
the games and such, we watch him every time they're on,
we watch the Jackets, and it's just fun. I mean,
it's just one of those things, just a connection with
my son in addition to everything else that surrounds all
the fanfare with it too.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
So yeah, it's funny exactly.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Yeah, that is the best part about But my son
doesn't like our baseball tucks because they're usually what was that.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Oh, I've heard you though, Yeah, I've heard you. You've
told me things that you've said to him.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
I'm like, you better sleep with one eye open. Man.
What do you do? Good? Lord? You're a jackass for the.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Most Oh yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Anyway, Uh, throwback.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
I like to call the throwback other than a jacket.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Okay, sure, whatever you need to call it to make
yourself feel good.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Man.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
The Preds are in town tonight. Now, this is what
I don't know. Is there such thing as a trap
game when it comes to hockey.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Because yes, you're not when you have to win seven
of ten to have a realistic chance to make the playoffs, right,
So yes there is. But if you're in a playoff
spot and you're you know, if you're trying to you're
trying to better your position or something like that, and
it's a trap game. This is a must win game,
simple as that. So your thoughts is, did a game

(08:44):
that on paper, if you were just to play it
on paper, would you win? Out right? Absolutely sure, guys think.
But they have nothing to play for it. They'll be
very loose tonight. They lost last night in Philly, so yeah,
it'll be Uh, it'll be interesting.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
We can go back a couple of games.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
I text with you after the Canucks and the Jackets
winning to shootout seven to six. They were down three nothing.
I was like, they can't keep doing this. Knock it
off with this come from behind stuff. You only have
so many of those in the magic well if you will,
and it's this ain't the time of year to be
having to summons that or what have you. And I

(09:23):
love your text right after that, and I can't read
what I sent you because well, I'll get thrown off
the air and I'll get probably arrested. But I did
end with it. What a gutsy w you go, Oh
it was something. I'm not sure what, but something is
what you replied. But it was a mess. You're right,
but they ended up somehow pulling it off. Then go
to Ottawa, and so what were your thoughts on how

(09:46):
they was? Was that just? It was the next night?
It was they traveled, but I mean what what I mean?

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Three to two? It was close. They got down again.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I'm like, oh man, they you know, when they don't
score the first goal, it seems like it it turns
into this, I don't know, this big mess.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
But your thoughts on that.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
I don't remember when they scored the first goal. It's
been weeks now. The Ottawa game was Look, you're the
deck stacked against you. You play, you have that kind
of an emotional game. That was a long game on
Friday night. Not just that it went to a shootout,
but there were thirteen goals, so it was a long
game for hockey. You don't get in when you go

(10:27):
to Ottawa. First of all, I don't know why when
people ask me, what's your least favorite place, and I
don't know why Ottawa doesn't jump to my mind first,
because it is the absolute worst.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
It was like twenty degrees the other night or whatever.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
I don't care about that. I let okay with going
from seventy to twenty. I don't care. But it's a
forty minute ride from the airport to the hotel. The
rink is not even in the city, it's in a
different town, and the hotel there's nothing around it. The
rink sucks, and there's a car dealership and a tanger
outlet near the rink and that's it, and it's just

(11:01):
it is. I would I would find it hard to
want to play there. If I were a player, I'd
be like, ah, give me the next option. So anyway,
but you go there and then look, it was a
playoff game. It was fast at the beginning, and I
thought the Blue Jacks reacted well to it, but again,
as you said, once they fell behind and it got
to be three to one, you can just see the
frustration from these guys like Ken Johnson and Krill Marchenko

(11:25):
and they can't find room to escape. Marchenko didn't found
a sliver and he got a goal, and then you know,
they turned it up a little bit after that. But
it's just the process that these players have to learn
how to fight through the adversity, and that's what they're
trying to do at this time of the year, and
it's not been easy for them.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
So we know that traditionally the Jackets.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
It seems like this year, if we're going to look
at the overall, the thirty thousand foot view at home,
and the Jackets do really well. So tonight do you
predict a Tare I ask it an easy win for
the jack No, there's.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
Nothing going to be easy for this team. If you
think between now in April seventeenth, you're gonna get one
of those five to one butt whoopings, you're not. It's
just not gonna happen. This is They're all gonna be
hard because you know, even a game like this one
tonight where Nashville has struggled to score. Wow, the Blue
Jackets know about that. I think these guys have so

(12:22):
much pressure on themselves to try to, you know, to win,
and then it's like, you know, the young players, Adam Pantilly, Oh,
we're not scoring, so I've got to do more. Well,
you know the old thing, less is more at times,
and human nature is to try to do something extra
and that works against you in a lot of situations
in this game. So this is not going to be

(12:43):
easy tonight. Nothing is going to be easy. The next
ten are going to be battles the entire way. All
you can do is, you know, for them, they can
They just have to go out and give one hundred
percent effort and do the things they know make them
successful if they do them right. It's really simple. But
then you start losing and you get away from those things,
and then that makes things worse. So don't start losing.

(13:05):
I guess, like you said, score the first goal, do
something different. They've had a lead. What's your lead been
in the last two weeks, They've had a lead of
literally twenty three seconds. That's it. That's how much they've
been ahead of the opposition.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
So that gets old. That gets old as a player.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
And like you pointed out the frustration, and you can
see it too.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
You're right. They're smothered.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Man.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
They don't have any room at all. Soon as the
stick is it's like put pup, pup, pup pup. I
mean there's no there's like no letup whatsoever from the
opposition right now. And yeah, that can that can wear
on you, you know, each time you jump out there
to skate and you're just dealing with that the whole
couple of minutes that you're Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
If you're good, if you're a good wide receiver, you're
going to have two defenders on you at the critical
time of year, in the critical games, right Yeah. And
this is no different. I mean, the guys that are
the bigger threats to score are going to draw double
coverage every single time they have the pucket. They're not
going to have the room to move. So it's you know,
it's very similar except in football, somebody's trying to throw

(14:04):
the ball to you in here. As soon as you
get the puck on your stick, that's when they're jumping.
You're trying to steal it away from me. So it's uh, yeah,
it's just tough. That's that's the time of year. It's tough.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Is everybody going tonight? Is anybody not healthy? Because I
didn't I couldn't see anything.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Dante Fabreau comes back tonight. He did not play in
Autowa the other day, which yeah, yeah, it didn't really
follow up the defense. I mean, the guys that played
did well. But he plays on the top pair with
Zach Warnski. He's pretty instrumental and making things seamless there.
So it's going to have him back tonight.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Elvis is, Elvis is gonna go.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
And so yeah, the jacket seven o'clock tonight, Nashville Predators
at nation Wide Arena. I'll be in the house and
uh and you'll hear me screaming man from down in
my section.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
I promise we're getting those texts, all right, God help me.
If it's five to one Blue Jackets, I'll get the tech.
And you told me this wouldn't happen.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
No, I'll be up there going, hey, come out and
let us in. My daughter's with me. We're over here
to bug you. Now. We're gonna come up and see
if it gets to that kind of a lead man.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Well that's good. Yeah, security knows that.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, make sure they know. Will you please keep him away?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Radio voice for the Globus Blue Duke Bob mcgelligan, Chuck
could come with me, he knows this year it's bad
because I only have a couple of games left.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
But plus he doesn't like me that much.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Well it's not that, it's just uh, I mean, I
don't know if he really what do you really want
to go to a game?

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I would love to go to a game. You would, Yes,
I have no idea, he said, don't say no.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
Drink like like the Roman Emperor.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Okay, I'll make sure to wear a toga. They'll bring
the grapes for us. They be fis like, Yeah, it's fun.
Bob Mcgalliganate, Bob, thanks for chomping on with us. Have
a good game. Pay all see you brother.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Mark Blazer Show on six' TEN.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Wtvn so it looks like tomorrow it's happening again An
Alert Day Chief Videologists marshall McPeek joining. Us But, marshall
is this more of an afternoon thing or this is
an evening?

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Thing?

Speaker 5 (16:23):
YEAH i think we may have a few showers during the,
day but nothing to be concerned. About it's what's coming
later in the evening and over night. Hours it's gonna
be the.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
PROBLEM i gotta ask, You, yeah are you getting to
the point in your career where you, go.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Can we get a little bit of this stuff during the, day?

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Please, like why does it have to happen late When
i'm supposed to go home and go to.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Bed, NOW i Know i'm complaining for.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
You you're you're one of those people, that at least
in THAT i know, of you're not complaining about. This
But i'm doing it for you BECAUSE i know we've
been doing this thing called.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Media a long.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Time marshall AND i said To chuck the other, DAY i,
go you, know he's got to be getting to the
point where he's, like.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Not funny mother. Nature not funny. Nature yeah scare. ME
i was worried about that.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Too, yeah not funny mother father.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Weather that really does scare. Me But i'd RATHER i
want to see it. COMING i meant For marshall, sanity
not because that's, accomplishable.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
Right, yeah we gave up on that a long time,
ago that that went out the, door you, Know But chuck's.
RIGHT i mean the nighttime tornadoes are the are the
scary because you can't see him. Coming and the problem
is is you're absolutely reliant on radar at that, point
and and you, know in the middle of the, afternoon
you see it on, radar you see it, Coming you

(17:49):
look out the window and you're, like holy, cow down
to the basement we. Go you can't do that at,
night and and that becomes you, know we all also
can't sleep, either, right secondary, Confirmation because let's be, honest
the sirens went.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Off what's the first thing you, did clench my but, Cheets,
yes how flatter?

Speaker 3 (18:13):
You first THING i did was turn the tablet from
the MOVIE i was watching over TO abc six website
SO i can see what you told.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Me, Yes and why did you do?

Speaker 3 (18:20):
That because you got the tools in the radar and the. Knowledge,
Man i'm coming to, you But i'm.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
Worried you heard the sirens and then you immediately went
for what we call a secondary. Confirmation, YES i hear the,
sirens but let me just check somewhere.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Else, too let me make sure this is legit.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
Right and so what happens is we've all sort of
gotten into that mode what's supposed to happen is the
moment you hear those, sirens you gather the, kids gather the,
pets gather, everybody you go to the, basement period, end
wait for it to be. Over but we looked for
that secondary confirmation and and a lot of times you
turn THE tv on or you come to us, online you,
know you check to, see, well what are they, saying

(18:58):
and so then you get a sense of what it's
on the radar and that sort of. Thing so we're
gonna have to do that. Again we're gonna add another
alert day On, thursday and it's another evening event On thursday,
yesterday so we've got a.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Couple of these in a.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
Row, tonight it's beautiful, outside the sun is, shining it's really.
Nice it's gonna stay fairly, quiet and then On, wednesday
some showers possible during the.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Day the storms that we're concerned about are.

Speaker 5 (19:23):
Gonna be in the evening and late and some of
that like after nine o'clock moving into our part of the,
state right so it's dark, again so we're dealing with.
That it's just like what we had On, sunday high
during the day up to seventy seven.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Degrees oh.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
Boy so we've got the warm, Air we've got plenty
of moisture streaming up into this part of the. Country
so all of that adding to the instability in the.
Atmosphere it's kind of, ripe it's ready to, go and
then it bubbles up into these big. Storms, thursday we
have leftover storms in the, morning those begin to die,
out and then quiet for the middle of the day

(20:00):
with a new round of Storms thursday.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Night all, right so that's where we're.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Headed, yeah we'll be obviously we'll be listening to you
and paying, attention but that's what we need to be.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Doing so all, right very, Good, marshall thank. You it
is fifty one right.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
NOW i THINK i heard up the two inches of
rain between all this crap by the end of the.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
WEEK i saw Watching sarah this.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Morning she was talking upwards in the three and a
half inch.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Range By, Sunday.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
I'll deal with her WHEN i was. Here but, yeah
we'll see What marshall. Says we can ask him about
that next. Hour do you screen time in? Bed like
before bed you lay, down look at your phone constantly
or whatever your Tablet And i'm.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Going to catch twenty. Two, Okay i'm going to offence
some people right. NOW i love you, guys. SERIOUSLY i
do the social media. Thing i'm way more into it
Than mark. Is he knows how to turn his crap.
Off idun't but being you, Know i've keeped my phone
on because with the, kids the grandkids and so, FORTH
i never want to turn off. Ringer but some of
you people instant messaging me stupid stuff from the internet

(21:05):
at one. Am IF i knew where you, lived.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Well instant. Message you have a notification with?

Speaker 3 (21:13):
That, YEAH i get. CRAZY i get a ding just
LIKE i do my text. Messages oh, WAY i have.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
That.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Yeah you know some of these people work third shift or, something,
man because they'll send me oh look dancing bears In. Poland.
YEAH i don't need that. Stop yeah, Man, yeah that gets.
It So i've, yeah it's constantly dinging uh all.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Night by the, Way marshall was listening to us and
just sent me a text could be five plus inches of.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Raine all, Right i'll deal with him, too is what
he just. Said JUST, fyi which will get clarification next.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Hour and then That's. Sarah ever since they started hanging out,
together nothing but bad. Man it's like they try to
want to up Each.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
I'm pretty sure that's what the deal. Is forty five
thousand young.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Adults there was a study with that many that it
raises the risk of insomnia by fifty nine. Percent and you're,
going well raised insomnia if it's, Ding, well of COURSE
i can't sleep BECAUSE i keep getting woken up By
but the thing IS i have there's, literally you have
a you have an, iPhone so There's i'll show you

(22:11):
the settings where you can have it to where you
you control exactly who gets through when you have it,
muted and that's it's really.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
SIMPLE i didn't know you could control these.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Individuals oh, yeah, Absolutely oh, okay so that's.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
Your kids you're talking, about or your grandkids.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
WHOMEVER i have mine set up just for a few
people in my, circle and that's.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
It they if they call me in the middle of
the night AND i have it.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Muted IF i hear my phone ringing in the middle
of the, night first two words.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Are probably oh, yeah, yeah so because.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
That means someone's calling me getting, through And i'm, like
probably some sort of an.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Emergency and, well with a phone ring if somebody's actually,
calling if it's after but you you program it to get. Through,
yeah BUT i just assume it's bad. News if it's after,
ten maybe eleven o'clock at. Night if my phone rings
in the middle of night While i'm, ASLEEP i wake
up prepared to jump into. Action, well it's got to
be something.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Bad it should be you should have you should be
turning it, off not all the way. Off the sound of.
IT i don't know how you do. THAT i don't
know why people do. That you're a glutton for, punishment
is what.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
You SOMETIMES i need a little NOISE i need if
it's too, QUIET i don't sleep.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Well well, YEAH i mean you're you run the fan year,
round right to one of those. People, well that creates that,
that you, know that kind of. Noise, ANYWAY i am
somebody who IF i get up in the middle of
the night and go pee or, whatever and Sometimes i'll
lay down And i'm, like, Man i'll Go it actually

(23:39):
is reversed for. Me i'll open up like SAY x
or whatever and just kind of start reading some. Stuff
THEN i get tired AND i have to dim it
some because otherwise it's too bright AND i don't Want jenny,
going what are you? Doing you, psycho like why are
you on your? Phone But i'm doing it just to
lull myself back to. Sleep If i'm like sitting there like,
ding you know?

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Why and that question also has no basis and curiosity
every basis and accusation in the middle of, That who
are you texting at two? O'clock if you pick up that,
phone it better be an. Emergency, yeah because who are you?
Texting there's about to be a.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Fight.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Yeah she knows better than to even. Ask now she
knows What i'm, doing if you, Know i'm kind of
looking at that Because i'm, like, Well i'm just trying,
to you, know bore myself back to sleep or.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Whatever i'm Like alex From bainbridge wanted to show me as.

Speaker 2 (24:30):

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Pretzels?

Speaker 1 (25:13):
YEAH i just was talking To zach about, them and,
uh you know my.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Ice dress in a place called dots. Ones. YEAH i was
younger then.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
My my kids Like stone was, like we're At, costco,
which as you, know nothing is small, there and it
was an enormous AND i thought it was like sixteen
dollars for this bag of their. Pretzels they're imagine like
braided like sticks of, pretzels but they have this. Dust

(25:46):
and the ones THAT i have are honey mustard AND
i just had a couple of them during the. Break
but they're crazy. Expensive but there is. Something it's, like there's,
crap there's something in. THESE i don't understand what. Happened
but Because stone was like, that AND i, go, dude
those are like sixteen, dollars are you out of your?

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Mind like we're not.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Getting sixteen dollar. Pretzels, well we ended up getting. Them
and THEN i tried him and he was likely know
how to stand on your? Ground OH i, Know I'M
i am stead, fast trust. Me and then he's looking
at me WHEN i tried, it AND i was like
and he was, like.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Yeah, YEAH i told. You you know he's doing.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
That it's nothing worse than getting out whatever by eleven year.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
Old.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Yeah and THEN i was, like, well you better stretch.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
THESE i better not see a bowl of them half
eaten sitting over in the morning WHEN i come down
from where you were eating.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Them and now they're stale and we got to throw them.
Away these are.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
EXPENSIVE i can break down how much each one of these.
COSTS i mean it's like each. Individual but, UH i
don't know what it is or something about the dust
with those something that THEY i don't.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Know, man some things are just not. Explainable you just
you're like WHAT i don't.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Understand many many years, ago When Lazy's Potato chips came
up with that marketing scheme no one can eat just one,
THAT i think that became a philosophy for all snack
foods at that, point that we've got to make sure
that people want more and more and, more not just
enjoy what they.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Have, well, YEAH i MEAN i LIKE i like that
you have. CHOICES i like, that AND I i like.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
SNYDERS i mean they're they're sour, dough those big chunky
sour dough pretzel things that they, have or. Amazing each
one kind of has a special spot in my, Art
i'll be, honest but certainly they are the emptiest of
empty as far as carbs, go and so.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
ON i got something in my. Vision, sorry it's like
a hair or. Something IT'S i had to say something
in case you're, LIKE i wondered what you were.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
DOING i thought maybe the dust was actually some sort
of drug and you were having a.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Seizure, MAN i, mean you face you were making AND
i didn't.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Know i'm, SORRY i, know BUT i FEEL i need
to say something in. Case you, KNOW i don't know
that people can't see either, listening BUT i.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
AND i have that you made movie in twenty, Five
Angel dusted twenty.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Five, well It's Diamond Dog night tonight The. Clippers it's
the home, opener and it's. Exciting it is an exciting
time if you're headed down to The Arena, district whether
it be for this, game whether it be for The,
jackets there's going to be some extra congestion down. There

(28:29):
so if you're headed down that the good thing about
is the weather is good and obviously we'll check With
johnny here in a little bit as far as traffic,
goes but it's going to get a little bit more.
Congested so if you're able to pad the time you're you,
know to get to get down, THERE i suggest doing.
That but it Is Clipper's Diamond Dog night for the

(28:50):
opener tonight versus The Saint Paul.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Saints and you, KNOW i can't EVEN i, Know i've
been to the.

Junk it's an. Iore, yes, YEAH i Know i've been
there back in the. DAY i just don't. Remember oh my,
GOSH i.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Can still hear my shoes sticking to the floors AS
i walked in the gates down.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
There oh, yeah and you haven't been To Huntington, no just, outside.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Yeah just something about walking into Old Cooper stadium with
the Or Jet stadium or Red Bird, stadium depending upon
when you grew. Up it was it those three, iterations no, Kidding,
Yeah Columbus, jets which a minor league FOOTBALL i BELIEVE.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
I remember that actually.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Vaguely, Yeah and every time we go, by my mom
would call It Redbird. Stadium dad called It Jets, stadium
AND i don't know that they were around to call
It Cooper stadium or cared at that.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Point what Was? REDBIRD i Think redbirds was another baseball.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Team, okay, okay so, tonight, Yeah Saint Paul. Saints and
then it goes through the whole Diamond Dog, night like
this schedule.

you can feed the family till the fourth Of. July
just put them in the. Freezer get good luck with.
That get got a. Redundant you wouldn't be like dusty
pretzels or. Anything but still not like The dots. Pretzels but,
yeah let's. See they they The clippers food Vendor Levy.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Restaurants they replaced The aldi hot dogs sold last year
On Diamond Dog night with franks From Gordon Food.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Service, no, okay.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
That's the hot dog supplier for non promotion nights. Too
The Diamond dogs are a little bit, smaller it goes
on to, say but it is the same brand of
hot dog will be serving On Diamond dog as opposed
to the other.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Nights so, interesting, NOW i didn't know.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
That and then The, guardians The indians, whatever they Host
Dollar Dog nights a progressive field they're scheduled for and
then they go through their, one, two, three, four, five, six,
seven eight nine different times this. Year then The reds
they have a three to two one and It's Tuesdays

(31:25):
Great American. Ballpark three dollars Bud bud light two dollars
hot dogs and dollar ice cream, cups and then they
go through all the different dates they're doing it this.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
YEAR i think The clippers are doing it on Every
tuesday home, game aren't? They isn't that kind of the
scenario for this? Season so if they're home On, tuesday
it's A Diamond dog. Night If i'm not, mistaken.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Let me as you might be. Honest uh, huh you
know what you're, uh you, know excuse, Me.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Yeah you're, Right i'm looking At i'm double checking these
today and then again on the fifteenth and again on
the twenty.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Ninth are All.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
TUESDAYS i can't believe other other teams don't do stuff like.
That you, know you have burritos at The crew, games
and oh, lord do The bluejackets still do that just,
before like two hours before the, game sell the what
were They Huntington blue seats or? Something you could get
discounted tickets or something like that for home.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
GAMES i am not aware of. That if they do,
THAT i JUST i THINK i would.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
SACRIFICE i would lose money to put butts in seats
so people could build enthusiasm then pay full full bride next.
SEASON i Would i'd do the cheap hot. Dogs i'd
do the, burritos whatever it took to get the butts
in the seats and get them to fall in love
with WHAT i was putting out.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
There, yeah Inside Nationwide, arena there's nothing cheap as far
as the food.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Goes they don't ever really do.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Specials and if they, do please forgive me if you're
with the organization and you're yelling at the radio, now
because what they do are promotions like bobblehead type stuff like. That,
yeah maybe a SPECIFIC t shirt that, night that kind of. Stuff,
now inside during the, game they are LAUNCHING t. Shirts
they're giving away Free jets pizza you, know via. Boxes

(33:05):
they're like little like the personal. Size they're winging those
throughout the. Arena and, inside of course is the little you,
know free four corner pizza From jets or. Whatever they
do that all night long. There And Mike, todd who
is a. Buddy he is the guy you're going to
see on the video screens there in the. Arena he

(33:28):
hosts all the Different there's a ton of promotion going
on inside the. Arena they have theme. Nights it is
really a fun. Thing but as far as the food prices.
Go when you go to step up to one of,
those you you better have a pretty good sized credit
card with.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
You it, is it is what it. Is it's. Expensive
but there's stuff's good, though you. Know so, anyway that's.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Cool Columbus clippers doing The Diamond dog night tonight in
multiple times this. Year you, Know, hooters you, know from
one food to an. Other and Now i'm talking about the.
Wings hold, On i'm just, now hang on a, Second
i'm talking about the.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
Wings do you do.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
You Like hooters as far as the food, Goes i'm
talking about the.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Restaurant. CHUCK i know it's. Hard Hey, chuck do you Like?
Hooters do you Like? Hooters you're, like look at, me,
man you KNOW i Like. Hooters what are you talking?
ABOUT i went once and that's.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
It that was. It.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Yeah, yeah it was oddly uncomfortable for. Me i'm not joking.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Because of the way everything's displayed from the. Girls, yeah
so you say to, Yourself you're, LIKE i, Know i'm
okay staring at, those But i'm not supposed, to BUT i.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Am, yeah you. Shouldn't it's. RUDE i.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
WOULDN'T i wouldn't, want you, know my son's or grandsons
objectifying like, that AND i just felt, like, look you're
putting them right in my face like. THAT i DON'T
i don't like, That And i'll go to roosters for
the rings and wings AND i don't have to look at.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Those their food is really.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Good but they filed for, banker but then they go
on to talk about how they're here to. Stay it's chapter,
eleven WHICH i think is just a, restructuring, right but,
yeah they filed for, that but they're saying they're here
to stay and their.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Food is, really really.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Good the other thing THAT i didn't you, know the
REASON i kind of wanted to quickly spotlight this was
they were talking about trying to rebrand some of the
AND i was, like, listen you know people are, saying,
well the lawsuits of hiring Only hooters girls to serve
CUSTOM i hate the time.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
That we live right.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Now when you're talking about something Like, hooters the name
of the place and what they've been about that you.
CANNOT i, mean as far as this, woke this virtue
signaling crap that people are trying to, do it does
not apply to some of these. Things yet they're trying
to make it. Applicable and that's the thing that's most
irritating about, this and unfortunately something like, this they have

(35:59):
suffered because of this lawsuits over hiring Only hooters girls
to serve. Customers AND i don't know who was behind
this or what they're, Thinking, like what do you you
want trans guys in there that are saying they're girls
with the shirts and the tied up and THE i
don't who wants to look at that when you're.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
Eating being to force a place to hire somebody based
on you, know what their identification is or, whatever that's.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Garbage i've never liked.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
That, look we we have a set of protected classes
in this country that covers pretty much everything that naturally.
Occurs we don't, need we don't need extra protected classes
to cover how people wake up feeling that day and
uh personal wealth. Customer from a customer point of, view
IF i were in that, position and you, know as

(36:49):
some guy that looked like me except wearing A Dolly
parton wig and a Sweet Sequence halter top brought my
wings to the, TABLE i would have no appetite for
them AND i would never go. Back, right that's my personal,
preference AND i have just as much right to that
as you have to wear your wig in your.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Sequence, right you.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
Go To hooters and you're expecting to see a certain.
Thing it's not about equal whatever in that. Situation, SORRY i,
mean there are just some things that that is the brand.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
PERIOD i don't think you need to hire women who
identify as men to be part Of.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Chippendales's are they still? Around chippendales are still?

Speaker 3 (37:23):
Okay, well if there's women out there who identify as,
men that, is should they be part Of.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Chippendale's, no, well then there you.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Go THAT'S i, mean it's if it's not equal on all,
sides it's not.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
Equal So hooters is not really going. Away so that's
a good.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
THING i haven't been there in years and years and,
years BUT i don't go out of my way to,
go BUT i will.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Go their food is, great it really.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
Is so, ANYWAY i just thought it was interesting that
that angle was mentioned in this.

Speaker 5 (37:51):
Article sports and The Mark Blazer show on six'.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
Ten, wtvn yeah, last hour we were Speculating after Mark
mar shoal ended up jumping off the air With us
weird speculating on about how much rain was being predicted between,
you know starting tomorrow and then all the way through.
THE weekend i was, Telling him, marshall that, you Know
Watching Good day columbus. This morning Of course sarah was
on there and she said somewhere in the three to four.

(38:17):
Inch range and then you said that you text me,
five inches five.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
FLOODS inches i, was, like yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:22):
This is this is part of the. REASON why, i
mean so we always, talk, about well how much snow would.
That be that'd be fifty inches.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Of.

Speaker 5 (38:29):
Snow yikes so what's happening is the flood watch goes
Into effect wednesday evening and it lasts all the Way
through sunday morning. And beyond what's happening is we're gonna
get these storms that are gonna have some very. Heavy
downpours they're pulling moisture all the way From, the gulf
and that is just gonna give us heavy downpores and

(38:49):
give us a chance for. Some flooding so you can get,
flash flooding meaning it happens. Really fast the sewers and
the streams get overwhelmed, real quick and you start getting
some flash flooding that can happen during. The storms but at,
that point now what you also have is. Saturated ground
so as, more rain and some of it heavy, at
times falls on that, saturated ground it can't sink in

(39:12):
because the, ground's full so it starts to run off.
Really quickly that gets into the rivers and streams and
they start coming up, really fast and low lying areas
start taking on that, water first and then it gets.
Really problematic so this, is why as it begins Raining
on wednesday and doesn't really stop Significantly, until monday we

(39:33):
have a chance for flooding across a lot of. The
area so the current alerts that are going into Effect,
on wednesday this is gonna be a wind advisory and.
A floodwatch plus then we're gonna have to keep an
eye out for the strong to Severe storms wednesday Night and.
Thursday night daytime Highs on wednesday around seventy seven degrees
seventy One, on thursday will be in the sixties for.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
The weekend, all, right marshall thank you.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
Very much fifty two now sounds like such a sick, jokey.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Man that's a lot, of water.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
And it's a whole lot and uh my yard is
already starting yep to, Thicken UP and i Start thinking
i'm like all, this rain it's going to be out
of control by the middle of.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
NEXT week i lived in the.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
BACKYARD today i WISH that i had the time, Because
yeah i'm Just thinking i've got five or. SIX days
i won't be able. To cut this is going to
be a jungle by the time it's trying enough. To
Cut poor loop isn't going to be lost. Out there,
oh yeah well she'll hire. A guide how.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
She is there is a psychedelic church that offers free.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
Magic mushrooms. Mushrooms too it's five hundred.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
Plus congregation so this whole thing started in a Forest.
In mexico when you hear something like the origin was
in a Forest, in mexico, you go huh is a.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
Psychedelic church and that WAS where i was kind of.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
Joking earlier, i'm like, you know a lot of people
get religious all of, a, sudden, like hey where is?

Speaker 2 (41:07):
This again.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
This guy had a chemically induced vision in which he
came face to face with his ancestors in a Forest,
in mexico and now he leads a psychedelic church and
they take. Magic mushrooms now the interesting part of that
and helped Me out zach attack because he's the one
who sent me. THIS story i read this a couple,

(41:31):
of times and it doesn't say exactly where.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
This is of course, not okay they don't want you. Finding, it.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
Yeah because over five hundred member congregation would all of
a sudden turn into tens of thousands.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Of people they know where, it, is.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
Right they, JUST go i think it's over, here somewhere
and they just kind of, wander around AND so i
guess they.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
Get lucky as STUPID as i think, this is also
think it should be.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
Completely legal just so, You.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
Know david you go go, to uh, you know the
reservations To the indian tribes and. So forth that still
they will go to the. Sweat boxes they will indulge
in various uh things to. Create visions that's part of their.
Religious belief if that's part of your, RELIGIOUS belief i
actually don't think anybody should step on.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
Your toes the thing that they, talk about though it's It's,
anti trump but he's talking About when, america sneezes the
rest of the world catches, a cold and it's no
it's no. Surprise fascism fascism is rising across. The world
he goes on to say and so they run two
different types. Of services the first are sermons that Occur,

(42:47):
every tuesday so tonight they'll be doing one or during.
The day the other more, social sessions including, moving nights,
growing classes and. Support groups and so he told this
guy's Name, IS dez i guess he's the founder of this.
Psychedelic church It's In, Colorado Springs. Colorado springs. Thank you

(43:10):
why wouldn't that be in? This article that was WEIRD
and i couldn't find it in, here anyway. He said
the church also offers food to its congregation. Who needed,
of course the line of thinking is he doesn't charge
any of his members for the magic mushrooms. He, supplies
instead he gives these communal offerings completely free of charge
to all.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
The members and then he.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
Breaks down the process of what he believes it does
to the HUMAN. Experience, DMT now i don't know how to.
Pronounce THAT all i KNOW is dmt, for short It's
the universe's last little gift.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
To us he goes on, to explain.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
And he urges people to reshape how they think about
their existence and to think about their bodies.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
As who inside?

Speaker 4 (43:53):
A what.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
Who inside?

Speaker 1 (43:56):
A what so it allows you to step outside, your
body since your soul isn't linked to the constraints of,
your senses and for you to look through.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
That, portal oh that's not a mushroom guy. Right there that's.
Complete SANITY when i saw that, in quotes because that's
what he.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
ACTUALLY said dmt allows you to step outside your body
since your soul isn't linked to the constraints of, your
senses and for you to look through. That, portal right that's.
DEFINITELY somebody i Have never, AND Look i i'm not
on a. Soapbox here i've never done anything, Like THIS

(44:35):
and i don't know if you, ever have.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
Or you would even, admit it or even one of.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
The, mushrooms, yeah no, UH no I tell i smoked
WEED when i was nineteen.
