Speaker 1 (00:00):
Man, I was just.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Looking during the break at this, uh this this video
clip of Vice President Vance and him dropping the National
Championship trophy. I'm sorry, I can't stop laughing. It almost

(00:22):
looks set up or something. How does it he's grabbing.
I mean, it's not like he he dropped it, because
it came apart. It wasn't like he dropped it then
it broke upon you know what I mean. Yeah, like
it's it's like he goes to hold.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
It in a practical joke on the vice president involved here?
Do you think I'm wondering, because you're right, it looks
like it was coming apart as soon as he touched it.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
It does.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Congressman Jim Jordan's joining us. Have you have you seen
this video yet?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Congress?

Speaker 4 (00:53):
I have not. I was not able to be there today,
and but Russell just call me our meeting. Guys, says
dropped the trophy, and I'm like, oh no, but but
I didn't see so it came apart, so he didn't
really drop it.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Uh well, no, he.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Ends up dropping the base of it and and the
top part is held up by whoever's standing next to him.
I I just looked at it quickly before we came on.
So I don't even know exactly who's but it's like
it's almost like that again, like kind of the way Chuck.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Just put it.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
It almost looks like a setup, like uh like Alan, uh,
what was it back in the day candid camera, Alan Fun.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
It almost looks like a setup like that.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I think we should check the White House staff or
anybody needs Shim Bickler.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Some some Democrat from Michigan
somehow sabotaged it. All that's that? Is that the story
you're starting to talking. That's the story.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
I think that's as good as anything else I think this.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I think I think Governor Whitmer has something to do
with it. I mean, she was just there recently trying
to be all in cot medows. She got busted out. Man,
you know it's not going well. She's just yeah, that
could be. She was just there.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Did she somehow that We're gonna have to need it.
We're gonna need investigation, maybe the Oversight Committee into this.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
We know, sure, just add another and but you guys
like you don't have enough going on, right, just keep going, Hey,
uh were you tell me you were able to take
in some of the Masters, because man, it was really good.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
It was a really yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I got I got to watch it yesterday. That was
maybe one of the best ever. I mean then certainly
when Tiger won here what six years ago, twenty nineteen, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
that was that was amazing. But uh yeah, this was
quite the thing. And then to go the extra hole
and and roar, I mean it, this is really good.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I felt like, you know, he I couldn't believe with
a short iron coming into eighteen that he must have
came out of that or something and flared it to
the right with a short iron.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
That's just not what pros do. Yeah, And so for
him to dip in that time, Brian, that's what we do.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
That's not like, it's not what somebody who's you know,
standing over the ball at twelve under in the fairway
off of a perfect drive on eighteen and short iron
in his hand, he flares it and it ends up
at the bunker on the right. That's something you do
maybe with a six or a five iron it kind
of leaks on you or whatever. But anyway, and then
for him to hit actually that was not that long

(03:27):
of a putt and then he just choked.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
He flat. Here's what I said about this, congressman. I go,
what that putt.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Was a lot easier than what he did in the playoff,
which was he striped one right down. I mean, what
fifty sixty yards past Rosie and then has another shore
is a he said he had a gap wedge in
his hand and then he stick He just stuffs it
in there and then that's harder than making that putt
in regulation, if you ask me.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
So. Yeah, he had some great shots to you know,
we all watch on Masses on Sunday and the par
five thirteen to fifteen, and I think it was fifteen
when he hit that seven iron. He drew it around
the corner. I mean, sweet shots, great shots there did. Yeah,
that obviously deserved to win. You would you have four
doubles he did? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
I think they said that's the first time in Masters
history that a winner's ever had four doubles in the
tournament to win that.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
There's this clip out where he is a little It
shows it's a Nike thing where where he's watching Tiger
and shows uh, mackaelboy when he's a kid practicing hitting
it into the into the dryer, hitting it on the
range playing it's really it's really good. I just saw
it earlier today. I was like, wow, that's that's that
was a great clip. That a couple of minute long

(04:45):
clip about him growing up wanting to be wanting to
be a great player.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I've seen that, and uh, that is a that is inspired.
I mean to watch that's really cool. Did you see
where Bryson said he didn't say a word to him
all day, that Rory wouldn't wouldn't speak to him, didn't
even say one word to him during their round.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
You know.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I think that was the thing that Tiger used to
talk about, he would not really be chummy. I think
Nick Faldo did that. I want to say, I read yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Busely, Ben Hogan was that way, just like just like
the hawk or something. He just came out, was just laser.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Focus, all business. Yeah, I mean he's there is no chummy.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Tiger used to talk about how he he didn't want them,
he wanted them uncomfortable and he wanted to I mean, look,
that's that's just the thing when you're competing at that level,
right I guess.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Yeah, well, but I mean I guess it's like in
the sport of wrestling, you don't talk to your opponents,
you know, you know, you never speak to you take
it after the bad it's over, the competition's done. But
you don't want to be chumming with you You got
to kick his sale.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Well that's only for a couple of minutes. You're talking
about three hour, three hour around that.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Four hour round of golf, whatever and so, and you're
with him the whole time.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Here's the other thing we know, there's no Rory doesn't
like the live tour, so there's no love loss there.
So I don't think he particularly likes Bryson. And Patrick
Reid ended up like backing into his spot too. But Bryson, oh,
I just he's got the goods. He's gonna win one
of those, at least at least one. He you you
could just see it, but uh, yeah it was in

(06:18):
his day yesterday.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yes, that's simple.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
And if you if you want to watch something fun
with Deshamba, watch the break in fifty with with the President. Yeah,
that was fun to watch the President. I think Bertie
like three holes on his own and they play from
the upseeast and uh the fourties and of course try
to break fifty. It's a really fun uh fun video
to watch.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, yeah for sure. All right, so we've got that.
We've got a couple not Ohio, but a couple of
sports things there. Let's just start off here there it
is j D fumbling and then now now I'm talking
a little bit of masters, uh and real quick. The
Jackets are not out of it either, Congressman. I mean
they they continue to win. We need Montreal to lose

(06:59):
tonight in Chica or Chicago's in Montreal, so we need
them to lose or it's over for the Jackets. But
they keep winning right now. So there there's another little
sports did bit there.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
You go. Yeah, all all things, all things good uh
in ohioland too so uh no, I you know, I
don't follow hockey that close. Of course, followed Theovechkin the
career goals, and a few years ago we went to
a Blue Jackets game. And one thing I'll say about
this is it is so much better in the arena
watching hockey than it is on TV. I mean, you
can see the play unfold. Again, It's just so much

(07:30):
better in the arena watching them. You know, we're like
some of the golf and stuff you can get to
see more on TV and you can really enjoy them
on TV. But hockey is like, oh, you want to
be in the arena for that.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Right And let's face it too, there the hockey, and
you appreciate this. I'm sure as an athlete, they're amazing athletes.
There's no two ways about it, you know. With the
hockey player.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
There, those guys are tough. I'm even my brother and
I and then both are boys went to University Wisconsin
where they play a little hockey up there too, Like
like you do in Bucket. You have the hot you
guys there, they're tough guys, no doubt.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
A different breed for sure. So I wanted to ask
you this. I saw this tweet and I screenshot it.
This was uh I think it would have been on Saturday,
I think. But and I don't know if you know
anything about this, but it's a doge thing. So does
says that you know, usaid they gave Chelsea Clinton eighty
four million dollars that was supposed to go for relief

(08:23):
in Haiti. And when I see something that starts like that,
I say to myself, I'm like, wait a second, you know,
how could that actually be real, and then they go
on to go line items show three million of the
eighty four was spent on Chelsea Clinton's wedding and wait
for it, ten million on purchase of a luxury mansion,
all on our dime.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
And what makes me mad? Right, there's no way all
of that is accurate.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
That makes me mad that people that are they say
they're pro conservative, but I feel like that is where
social media has turned into the devil.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Congressman.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
I don't know if you feel, but that stuff like
there right there gets conservative, you know there, that's water
cooler talk that absolutely cannot be true, or there would
already be some sort of there would there would be
a trial.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
They're not conservatives. This is the same mentality behind that
q andon craft that had people jump up in arms.
These are liberals. These are leftists that are trying to
poison the well to get you and I to do
stupid stuff.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Yeah, I belie, yeah, and it's all for some crazy story.
Now I will say, yeah that that that's that's ridiculous.
What's the same there? But but I will tell you
I do believe in a general sense, so many, so
many times your tax dollars get run through in g
os that wind up being used against you. Typically they'll
wind up supporting Democrat causes Democrat issues. Sometimes it seems

(09:41):
I feel like you even wind this way back to
Democrat candidates. We're actually trying to look at some of
that with this whole Act Blue. We've started an investigation there.
We had an interim report that came out a week
and a half ago. But in a general sense, I
always feel like the left uses your money against you, uh,
time and time again, because these NGOs are typically U
to the left and they get all kinds of money.

(10:01):
And that's why Elon and President Trump are looking at USAID,
which is notorious for taking your tax dollars and giving
them to left leaning non government organizations.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
So what, Congressman, what do you make of Bernie and
AOC going to the doing these doing these rallies. She's well,
I don't I don't know how you Probably you across
me is the kind of guy who are you're not
going to really But as far as AOC goes, yeah,
like she's got to be acting like, yeah, I'm the
best thing since sliced bread.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Right now. You watch her up there.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
She couldn't look more uncomfortable and as far as for where.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
I'm at when I watch this, But what do you
make of what are they doing there? What are they
setting up? What is this about?

Speaker 4 (10:45):
I think it's just a left, you know, I said
many times, I think even on the show that not
all Democrats are crazy, but the left that controls their
party is, and it's the left is where all the
energy in that party is at. And I think her
and Bernie just just the left is the ones who
are most fired up about Elon Musks are the ones
who are supporting the crazy terrorist activity of bombing Tesla's

(11:08):
and going after dealerships. And also it's I think it's
just they're just trying to appease the left to some degree.
You know, that's just that's just to the Democrat Party
where their energy is at right now. And it's unfortunate,
but I think that's that's all it really is. Is
there's the hard left and the party, and the hard
left wants and to push back against the president and
Elon Musk more so they're filling that, uh, that void.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
And the media is jumping all over it. Man. They
gave Bernie this morning, he said he appeared at Coachella
over the weekend and drew a massive crowd draw squat
they were there. He does happen to be up on stage.
I mean, come on, and you've got to do this
for the American voters as you've got to do this
for us. Empower AOC. Please empower AOC. The best thing

(11:53):
that can happen is is for her to become the
mouthpiece of the party.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
She's the reason that there's directions on the back of
the shampoo bottle. I believe that's what Senator Senator Kennedy. Yeah,
he said, we got it's operation letter speak, that's what
this is.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Yeah, he's one funny guy. He's one funny guy.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, absolutely, all right. Uh Congressman Jim Jordan, thanks for
jumping on with us. Appreciate We'll see you too.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
You would think AOC would have been the one at Coachella.
That's her crowd right out there, bouncing around in her
T shirt and stuff. They would have gone on. But
Bernie Sanders at Coachella, really welcome, are you concert goolas?
You're probably here for the rock and roll, But I
need to speak about my pants. You know, that's that's
not something that's going to fire those people up.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
No, No, in which house was Bernie going back to
after he spoke there.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
That's what most people are probably think.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
I was going back to my house in the middle
of the street, right
