Speaker 1 (00:00):
He is GOP strategist Bob Clegg joining me. Now, Bob,
how are you brother? Welcome in good Mark, How are you, hey, man?
I am doing really good. Let's start with uh, let's
start with Bruce Springsteen calling Trump incompetent and treason us
across the pond his first concert in Manchester, England. The
people there, who paid I'm sure several hundred pounds to
(00:21):
go see him, were saying to themselves, why is this
buffoon talking to me about what's going on over in America?
Not to mention, I came here to listen to his
lame music, which that's just my own opinion. And so
they're there, they're trapped and they're listening to this guy.
Go on. It's a dissertation about how bad our president is,
what a moron, and it's called read the Room. You know,
(00:44):
he thinks everybody wants to hear about this.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah, I mean, like, why does he think that anybody
cares what he thinks about Donald Trump? And you know what,
I wish he would just stay in Manchester, England if
he thinks things are so bad here in the United States.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Yeah, that was what I was kind of saying even yesterday,
when we kind of talked about it for a minute ago.
Why can't he pull a Rosie O'Donnell, who she moved
to Ireland. Listen, mister Bruce Springsteen, mister I'm on fire.
You have so much money. Just go ahead. You can
set yourself up over there and palatial and everybody can
adore you and do whatever, and you don't have to
deal with who you're calling incompetent and treasonous right now. Unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah, well, obviously things aren't that bad. If he's gonna
come back to the United States to live, I mean,
if they're really truly that bad, he wouldn't be here.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Yeah, that's the long and short of it. You are
absolutely right. Wanted to get your thoughts on House Republicans.
They're mulling over these consequences for the Dems who stormed
that ice facility, And yeah, how about Hakeem Jeffries, who's
you know saying basically, he's like they'll find out, you know,
like he's all ominous, this ominous warning to Republicans, And
(01:55):
I'm sure they're all shaken in their GOP shoes listening
to him, going they'll it's just like, dude, stop trying
to be gangster. You know, you're just it's it's not fitting.
And we watch there's plenty of footage of what happened
there just because And let me, did I get this right? Democrats?
Tell me if I'm saying this right? Democrats, no one
(02:16):
is above the law. I think that is the way
that they put it. I'm pretty sure. Yet somehow, some
way they're above the law based on what they did
trying to storm this place.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Well, well, Mark, what this tells us is basically what
Democrats think is if you're storming a federal building, if
you're a Republican, you're an you know, insurrectionist who needs
to be put in jail. But if you're a Democrat,
well no, that's not the same. They're just trying to
make sure that everybody's treated fairly in that facility. And
(02:49):
even if they had to break in and assault police
officers in the process, it was worth it because you know,
they have to check on those things. I mean to
once again, Democrats are always out there with two different
levels of justice in this world. They go by a
whole different set of rules for themselves than what they
(03:11):
do for everybody else.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, it's under the guys of oversight. Oh, we're just
conducting oversight. We're conducting really yeah, we surprised and we
showed up and shoved our way in.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Don't assault police officers or ice officials when you're doing
oversized right, right.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
The oversight part, if you're going to do that the
way you're supposed to do it is set that up.
I guess they were trying to, you know, catch them
off guard and catch them doing some underhanded stuff to
the people that are in detention there, I suppose or whatever.
These these disciplinary actions that can happen, there's a few
of them, one of which I really died laughing when
I saw. And she is a firecracker. I love Lauren Bobert.
(03:52):
I just think I think she's great. She goes, well,
I really think that there should be some criminal charges
filed against them. She was talking to Fox News and
she goes the censer doesn't do anything but raise them money.
And no one here has the balls to expel anybody.
Only Democrats balls are that big. And I'm just like,
oh wow, I was. But you know what, she ain't wrong, right.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Because she's not wrong, but you know what, they need
to do something. She's right they need to do something
more than censure because you know what, they'll keep doing this.
They will keep doing it because they know they can
get away with it. But if they would expel a
member before doing this, you're you're gonna see it shut
(04:35):
down because you know what, the one thing those Democrat
members care about more than anything else is their paycheck.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, that's yeah, that's a fact. He's
GOP strategist Bob Clegg joining me now, kind of talking
about a couple of the the pertinent issues or stories
that are going right now. This is the biggest one
I think going, which is former FBI director James Komy.
I don't I don't know what the idiot was doing.
I suppose he wanted some attention and he got it.
(05:04):
But now you know, people all over the internet are
trying to come up with different things that eighty six
forty seven means he posted a photo. I'll bring everybody
up to speak in case you don't know, he posted
a photo on Instagram. Federal officials alleged it was calling
for violence against President Trump. Eighty six forty seven. That
was in He's trying to act like he saw this
(05:26):
as he was taking a stroll across a beach or something.
But yeah, it was seashells sand or it ranged in
the sand rather to form the numbers eighty six forty seven.
Here is what Trump had to say on this. Here,
he is right here.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
If you're the FBI director and you don't know what
that meant, that meant assassination. It says it loud and clear.
He wasn't very competent, but he was competent enough to
know what that meant. And he did it for a reason.
And he was hit so hard because people like me,
they like what's happening with that country. Our country has
(06:01):
become respected again and August and he's calling for the
assassination of the president. I don't want to take a
position on it because that's going to be up to
Pam and all of the great people. And when you
add his history to that, if he had a clean history,
he doesn't. He's a dirty cup.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Dirty He's a dirty cup.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
If he had a clean history, I could understand if
there was a leniency, But I'm going to let them
make that decision.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, man, good stuff from the president. Look, comy can't
he did this. He made a mistake. I don't know
how he's going to wiggle out of this one. What
are your thoughts on this?
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Well, he did the quiet part out loud, and you
know what, you can't get away with that, Espirstly, you
can't get away with it when you're talking about a
president who's already been shot at twice or almost shot
at once and almost shot again second time. I mean,
come on, like the ocean, you know, blew the those
(07:01):
shows in and rearranged it that way just by accident.
Come on, this guy, I mean he was he was
the league guy on the whole Russian hoax thing. I mean,
he's been a bad actor from the very beginning.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
He's a dirty cop. That's what Trump just said. That
he's a dirty cop. That's what he is.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
The President is exactly right.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, for sure, he's GOP strategist. Bob Plague. Bob, it's
