Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello to your beautiful spleen soup. It's Crystal Little Size
back with another episode of Crystal's Nightcap. Tonight, Happy Birthday
YouTube Jojo Siwa. She gets queer John seen that claps
back at the bald haters? Am I getting scammed over
my wedding dress? We get Zaddie's engagement ring and more.
(00:24):
Sit back, relax, It's Crystal's Nightcap. Thank you for being patient.
We have an extra long episode today because you deserve it.
I know I'm a few days late, but we're gonna
change the formatting of Crystal's Nightcap. We're gonna do the
Sharing that She's Miss segment. Do you remember this, Joey,
(00:45):
I know you're hanging out, Joey Lazza. Yes, you. The
Sharing that Cheese Miss segment is where we go through
the Cheesemay of the week. What was trending was popping
our take on that, So we're gonna hit that first.
I do have a correction. I do say that Jojo
Siwa hit her girlfriend while she was on the UK
Big Brother. It actually turns out that she didn't hit
(01:07):
her up until she got back. Like the reunion vibes
so kind of messed up, but I'm still staying on
what I say. You know, when you're twenty one years old,
you should be warned enough that you're going to be
in toxic, confusing relationships. So let's leave that. But yeah,
I just wanted to correct that one thing right there.
(01:28):
But let's get it. What is the cheese man. Let's
spill it. Let's share sharing the cheese nut right now? Yo?
Have you seen this? Did she yet? Really? Oh my god,
we can't believe it. We're sharing the cheese man. We're
sharing the cheese Man. And Happy twentieth birthday to YouTube.
(01:51):
It was twenty years ago last week that the first
ever YouTube video was uploaded. It was actually the co
founder that uploaded the video. His name is Jawed Kareem.
It was a twenty second video Me at the Zoo.
It since has gone three hundred and fifty five million views,
which is crazy, seventeen million likes and it's literally just
(02:14):
a very cute, quick, twenty second video. Hi me at
the gym. Dang YouTube YouTube been that girl. I was
in the fifth grade when YouTube dropped. I m my
friend at school at the time, Gina Roquero. Shout out
to you, Gina. She told me about YouTube, and she
was on YouTube. And then I run home and I
(02:36):
get on YouTube and I'm just searching YouTube. And then
my mom, Sandra Sandrita, notices that I'm on the computer
a lot, and I'm telling her about YouTube. She's like,
don't get on there. Do not get on there. You
are banned from YouTube. You are not let to me
on YouTube. And I was like, why is this woman
crashing out over a freaking video channel? And knowing now
(02:57):
what I know about apps in the Internet and streaming things,
it sound that I had every single right to ban
me from YouTube. There were no protections back then. There
are no, bro, there's still some weird old things on YouTube.
But I am a YouTube girl. If you don't know,
I had my stint when I was vlogging. Yo, tbt,
they're back to my vlog Those were good times. Tell
(03:19):
me why because I share my YouTube blog in with
my whole family so that they all get like no
commercials on YouTube, which used to be a flex but
now it's like you're just throwing money away because girl,
why But because I do use YouTube the most, it
is worth it for me to not have you know,
thirty maybe one minute ads some videos have like ten
ads in them, so I do pay for that premium
(03:40):
service so I could see what my entire family is
watching on YouTube at all times. I have everyone's search history.
I know who was watching what. I know my dad
is always watching stuff about sports or traveling. I know
the Little Duck is watching the Phase Clan Boys, which
I'm monitor and I watch. But I've seen some like
puppet videos come up. Dude, back in the day. Okay,
(04:03):
the evolution of YouTube is crazy because I'm thankful that
now I can monitor what the little Duck is watching
on my YouTube and our YouTube. But back in the day,
some crazy stuff would pop up on YouTube. Now, mind you,
I was watching YouTube like I can't even say Ryan Higa.
(04:23):
I could say I was watching Ryan Jiga. Jenna Marbles
taught me how to put makeup on. So I was watching.
I never had like an older like cousin that was
close to me like that, or older sisters or anything
like that. So Jenna Marbles taught me how to put
the makeup on. Uh huh, I was watching them. I
was watching what was the one Happy Slip the Filipino Girl.
Oh my gosh, I was watching Smash Me and my
(04:45):
bestie Isabella. We lived on YouTube. Girl. We were uploading
YouTube videos in sixth grade, Yes, we were. We were
making our own videos in sixth grade, music videos, things
like that. Me and my brother Junior and I seven.
We would upload videos on YouTube as little kids. T
B tea man, I go back and then you know
all the lore of the Shane Dawson. I was heavy
(05:06):
into Shane Dawson, even though he got canceled. Trisha Patus,
She's gone canceled so many times. I'm still on her.
In Tana, I used to be obsessed with dough brick.
Oh my gosh, remember all that, crazy times, crazy times.
And I still watch YouTube every single day. The first
thing I do when I get home is I watch YouTube.
But I remember when I would watch you all the
makeup gurus. Oh my gosh, I'll get me started. But
(05:27):
I remember that I was watching, you know, the Little Duck.
I would watch him, and everybody was at work and
I had the night shift, so I would watch the
Little Duck. He liked to watch Spider Man, he liked
to watch the Ninja Kids. But I remember I was
watching Spider Man and Elsa and then all of a sudden,
it was like some weird stuff on there, and so
these like grown adults were aiming at little kids, giving
(05:50):
little kid content, but it was hidden inappropriate innuendos, and
I was just like, WHOA, what's going on here? So
ever since then I had to be really on top
of it. Here's this one song called like the Muffin song, right,
and the duck he must have been like six or five. Yeah,
this is during the panorama, so he was like five,
and we were listening to this like cute little it
(06:11):
sounds like a little kid's song. It's cartoons little Muffin song,
and all of a sudden, it's like I just want
to die, Die Die, I just want to die, Die Die,
And it says over and over again. I'm and then
the duck is like screaming that because it's part of
a song. I'm just thinking, what the heck is going
on here? You know? As of recent right, I'm looking
on YouTube and it's not his fault, it's not the
little Duck's fault, but he's watching these puppets, right, And
(06:34):
I haven't seen these puppets before in my history on YouTube.
So I look at these puppets on YouTube and these
puppets are saying inappropriate stuff. They're saying bad words, They're
getting stopp by cops, they're vaping and things like that. Puppets, puppets,
they're it's kind of giving like South Park. It's kind
of like South Park ish, I would say, maybe not
(06:56):
that crazy, but borderline, like a PG south Park that
still says bad words. And I hit up my man,
I hit up Zaddy. I'm like, Babe, the duck's been
watching these like puppets that I could see why he
watches them, cause you know, when you're twelve thirteen, you
know I'm watching I should not have been watching. While
I was watching, I was, oh my gosh, listen. I was,
oh my gosh. This is why I'm not putting a
(07:19):
TV in my kids room and I'm not putting a
laptop in their room to sleep. It was just different
when I was younger, Like we didn't have HBO and
all that stuff. So when I was younger, it was
just what was on the cable. So I was watching
Disney Channel and stuff like that. But girl in the
first grade, in the first grade, I'm freaking on VH one,
I'm watching, Dude, I'm watching Tila Tequila? Was that on MTV?
(07:45):
I was watching like VH one, I was watching Flavor
Flave Dude, I was watching what was the House of Rock?
Was that what it was? King of Rock or something
with Brett, that Brett guy, the rock and roll guy Bro.
I should not have been watching that stuff. I should
not have been watching that stuff. And now the kids have,
(08:05):
you know, TikTok and all the things, and I do
I as much as I can try to monitor the
little duck. I can only do so much because I'm
not there all the time. But I do get to
monitor his YouTube, and so I'm watching these little puppet
guys and I hit up my man. I'm like, Zaddy,
how do I go about this? Because I just don't
think that it's appropriate. He's twelve years old. It's saying
bad words, it's saying bad things. It's not a good influence. Like,
(08:27):
it's just not positive stuff. I'd rather him be learning
about things. Oh, there's just you know, there's so many
other options than watching just stupid brain raw. Mind you.
I do brain raw all day, all night on TikTok.
But yeah, I hit up Zaddy. I'm like, babe, what
should I do? And he gives me some good advice
on how to approach the duck with this. But it's
just rough out here. We got to be monitoring our kids,
(08:50):
and I try to block. I tried to first block
the puppet thing on YouTube, but YouTube doesn't even give
you the option to block. All it does is it
doesn't recommend stuff. So I put on the not recommend
this or stuff like this anymore. It's just it's just rough.
And I get it because you know, as little kids,
as teenagers, you know, you want you kind of want
to watch edgy stuff and all that. But uh uh
(09:13):
uh uh uh. But I can't even mad because, like
I said, the first thing I do is I watch
YouTube all day. I'm just dust scrolling brain raw on TikTok.
So I do get it. I'd rather have play video
games and work on on those hand eye coordination skills
or being you know, challenging and stuff like that. Then
(09:33):
those stupid little brain raw things that come up sometimes.
I don't. I really. I have a word with these
content creators that make stuff that's aimed at little kids,
but then it's adult content, right because South Park it
is a cartoon, but it it was on Comedy Central.
It wasn't on Nickelodeon. That would be an issue, you
know what I mean? But yeah, how do you feel
(09:53):
it's been twenty years since the launch of YouTube or YouTuber?
Not really? What are some of your favorite youtubes? Do
you remember the first YouTube videos that you used to watch? Yeah?
I remember Happy Slip, Ryan Higgah, smash those those people.
Good times, good times, yo. We have to talk about
my twin, Jojo Seewah. She has been trending the past
few weeks. She's on Big Brother UK and we all
(10:16):
know that Jojo Siwa is a proud member of the
LGBT plus community. We are allies over here. Love who
you love, do what you want to do. It is
not up to me or anybody else to judge you.
And if people are judging you for who you love
and how you want to love, then tell them you
ain't God. Who are you? Who are you to be
judging me? But my twin, Jojo Seewah, we have well
(10:39):
because she told us right. We thought that she was
on the Lesbiana spectrum of the LGBT Plus, but she's
been getting real and cozy and cute with her Big
Brother UK co host Chris. We saw them, you know,
having some deep talks. We saw them cuddling. We didn't
see any for noodleing. We just saw some PG cuddles
(11:02):
and she's having the best time over there. Something that's
pretty interesting though, unfortunately, is that her girlfriend at the time.
So what we're seeing is while she was filming A
Big Brother UK, my twin called her girlfriend and told her, yeah, girl,
we're gonna, we're gonna, We're not gonna work out, so
we're done so over here. And that sucks like that,
(11:23):
that definitely is heartbreaking. It does happen. I mean, Jojosie
was just twenty one years old. I mean, at twenty one,
she's had a few girlfriends here and there, she's had
some public like terrible breakups. Of course, I follow up
with everything, so you need to know, you know, it sucks.
I feel bad for the girlfriend. I'm happy that Jojo
told her, you know what, let's break up before she
(11:45):
ends up cheating on her, because you know, sometimes, especially
when you're in situations like that, you know, you're locked
up in a room or in a house with these
people for months weeks, and you start getting feelings for
people that you're very close to and spend a lot
of time with you. Like it or not, it'd be
happening like that. We saw what happened with r in
the Grande and Ethan Slater. Still, I think it's good
(12:08):
that Jojo decided to break up with her instead of
do something that she regrets while she's with her. Some
people think it's messed up, but at the end of
the day, let's say she's danged if she does or doesn't, right,
So I think it was a good choice for Jojo
to do. I think it's funny seeing her flirt with
the guy. She's still finding herself. She's only twenty one
years old. And the funniest part was that they had
(12:30):
a day where they dressed up as furries. Do you
know what furries are? Furries are those ravers that dress
up as furry animals, like they have like a tail,
they have the ears. You've seen people like that. Sometimes
they get full on costumes. So they went all the
way all to the wall with their furry costumes, right,
Jojo siwan her some housemates. They got a freaking litter
(12:54):
box and she paid in the little box and I
was dying laughing, And then she started covering it up her.
You know how cats they cover up whenever they go
Jojo si wat start doing the exact same thing. I
was hootering and hollering. That was the funniest clip. She
is so entertaining that girl. And some people were like, ew,
(13:15):
that's so disgusting. You're so gross. Your cat does it,
your cat does it, and you pick up your dog's dunk.
So stop stop with it right now. Let Jojo see
while live. It's her own number one, it's in a
litter box. She's fine, She's fine. People trying to cancel
everybody for everything. If Jojo wants to dress up as
(13:36):
a furry a cat and pee in a litter box,
that's her prerogative. She is allowed to. It's really not
that serious. It's not funny to meet so I love
seeing that. All love to Jojo sewaile my queen. Can't
wait to meet you. I haven't met you yet, but
our time is coming. Our time is coming. She was
gonna pull up and our overnight girl Keanu was getting
to interview her. Ooh, I was shaking in my boots
(13:57):
at the same time. It was it wasn't my time.
We got to spread the love so it's totally fair.
I can't you know we're supposed to spread the love
when it comes to interviews. I'm just like, y'all don't
know that I'm obsessed with Jojo Siwan. That is my twin. Like, please,
I'll he owe me that. But it was going to
be during my show. It ended up not happening anyways,
But I'm still crossed my fingers. I know it will
happen when it's meant to happen. Do you guys hear
that there is a new Disney Plus Holes TV series
(14:21):
that just casted the lead for their pilot. Holes is
one of my We were supposed to read it, I
think in the third grade. I always pretended to read books.
I never like, actually read books growing up. I'm oh, yeah,
I read it and never did. But when it came out, Oh,
I had the biggest crush on Shilah buff from Even Stevens.
So my mom took me and my brother Junior to
the movies. We were in like the third I was
(14:42):
like a third fourth grade. I remember that. I remember
telling MoMA, I really want to see this movie. She
took me. She's sound that. I She's the best mom ever.
Love you, mom. So this TV adaptation is actually starring
a holaman. Look at us, Look at us. Sissy's we
out here. Her name is shay Rue Dolf. She's started
a few things before, and it's pretty much the same
(15:03):
thing like Holes. A teenage girl gets sent to a
detention camp. They have a ruthless warden. They're forced to
dig holes for mysterious purpose. So I'm really interested in
seeing what this twist is gonna be. I don't know
if I actually will be watching or if it's going
to be aimed more at kids, but I actually I'm
such a fan of Holes, I might watch the first episode.
(15:23):
I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm excited for one
that drops. And this is just the time and the
year of the reboots. The reboots have been booting. We
have Clueless coming out. I think a sequel uh huh
of the movie with what If? As If? Yeah, that's
coming out. So many reboots, had the Wizards of Waverley
Place reboot? So many different reboots. And speaking of Shilah
(15:47):
buff he did an interview recently on YouTube and he
explains and apologizes, and it looks like he has grown
a lot since he's gone canceled, he found God, he apologized,
He talked about the darkest time in his life. He
talked about how he wanted to end it all, and
(16:10):
then he yeah, he met a woman, started praying and
things like that. Now he has a kid, and he's
just saying how embarrassed he is and how he would
never want things that he did to people to be
like to happen to his kid, and just saying that
when he was in movies and a movie star, he
just thought the whole world revolved around him and that
(16:33):
he could do anything, get away with anything, and that,
you know, it's just I love Hilda above for so long,
and then seeing all those horrible things that happened and
that he did during that time to his exes end
agreeing that he did all that, and then getting canceled,
and now seeing him again. There's never excuses for terrible
(16:53):
things you do in your life. I do feel like
people can grow and people can change, and I'm happy
that he's owning up to all the awful stuff that
he did. I'm happy that he sees how bad it was,
and I'm happy that he's turned over a new leaf
and wanted to be open about all those dark times.
I mean, I've done some stuff that I'm very not
proud of at all, and I'm still not I'm not perfect,
(17:15):
and i still do things where I'm like shesh, that
was not my best character. But you know, growing and learning,
that's all we could do. So love to Shilah. Buff
loved to Disney Plus in this new series because I'm
kind of excited for it. What do you think? Are
you gonna watch or not? Oh? I felt so bad
about John Cena. He was he was somewhere on some
sports roundtable talking you know those are those sports guys,
(17:38):
and he was calling out bullies that made fun of
his balding head. He says, this isn't cool. You guys
aren't cool to me. Why do you think I did it?
Talking about him getting hair replacement surgery, he said, I'm
in the Royal rumble rink trying to win, and fans
keep asking how's a bald spot? Like that's not fair.
(18:00):
I cannot control that. You guys rip me to shreds
for a genetic problem that I cannot control. He just
continued to call out fans that treated him bad and says,
you guys chan't make me feel so small, and you
embarrass me. Y'all don't know what that's like. That's straight
up bullying. It's not cool, and I don't like it.
I felt so bad for he looks great. He looks great,
(18:21):
and I feel like it really is messed up. I
feel like I've had my days where I did make
fun of ooh, I did I have that's my karma.
I had days where I did make fun of people
for balding. And now I'm with a beautiful, sexy bald man.
God gave me a bald man and I love him.
I love it, and I tell him all the time.
(18:42):
Maybe if God had to humble you, because if you
were not bald, you would be such a womanizer, I'm
telling you right now. And he really, I know he would.
I know he would like my man with actual head
of hair. It'd be bad for me. I would not
have this ring right now, I'm telling you. But like he,
I would not want my man any other way. And
(19:03):
bald kings, they for the most part, they're humble, they're
so sweet, they're nice. If one, sometimes one deadly one
deadly mixture is a bald man without a beard. Sometimes
they could they could be mad at the world, and
they could be mean. They have maybe some healing to do.
But my experience bald men with beards ten out of
(19:28):
ten and I have nothing. There's no problem with it.
And if a guy wants to get a hair transplant,
more flip and power to him. If he's just like
you know, I feel like I look better with hair.
I don't want to be bald right now in my life.
Get the bald, get the hair transplant. Are you kidding me?
I want an eyebrow transplant. I want to add more
eyebrows to my thin brows. I got my dad's love you, Poppy,
(19:51):
but you gave me some ugly eyebrows, and I gotta
paint these things every day. I have alopecia on my eyebrows.
It is not cute, it's not fun, it's not fresh.
I wish I could get hair transplant on my brows. Bro.
There's a his name is Gabriel Zamora. He got eyebrow
transplant hair. And because they take the hair off of
your scalp, if he doesn't trim his eyebrow hair, they
(20:12):
will grow like a head of hair, like down past
his chest. So they grow hell along. He has to
cut him. I don't care. I'll do that. I would
do that. I just feel like it's so messed up
that we're constantly dragging people for things that they cannot control,
or even things that they kind of can control. We're
in a time where it's like, why are we dragging
(20:33):
people for their bodies and how they look? Go do
that thing you want to do. And if someone doesn't
want to do something that you want them to do
with their body, heye, hurt, sad, insecure, hurt people, hurt people.
I will always say that I've been there. I've been
a hurt person before that was out here hurting people.
(20:56):
I definitely regret that. If I personally victimized you, I'm
sorry with all my heart. I'm sorry. I needed to grow.
I needed to grow and get the hair transplant or
don't or shave it off. Shave it off. And maybe
you don't have the head shape where you want to
be bald, that is okay. Now everyone has the perfect
(21:20):
head shape to be bald. So get the hair transplant,
wear a hat, get it to pay. That is your business.
I feel so bad for John Cena. He looks great.
He looks great with his hair transplant. You. You maybe
have struggled with I'm balding. I myself in balding. For years.
(21:42):
I was getting my side braids or remember my corn rolls,
A shout out to my girl Betsy braids. You did that, girl.
My mom did tell me though for so long. She's like,
if you keep doing this, you're gonna get bald on
your edges. And girl, my edges are balding. And you
know what I do. I get some hair chalk Amazon
and that thing works. It works so well, and that's okay.
(22:04):
You know, that's my karma for for being a bald
person hater for a while. That's my karma. Now I'm balding.
Look at me, and I don't really feel like getting
a hair transplant. I'll continue the side part or the
middle part or using my little hair talk. So very
(22:25):
proud of John Cena standing up for himself the bullies,
because look, now you got a hair transplant, and now
they're still getting on him for having a hair transplant.
The haters will always have something to hate about, So
do what's gonna make you happy, you know, And if
you have a BBO, you better not be saying nothing
about nobody with no hair transplant. You better not be
making fun of men for their heights, because they couldnot
(22:47):
control that. And I've always said, we love short kings,
we stand short kings. I have short kings in my
family that I love very very deeply. We love you
short kings. They deserve love just as the tall kings do.
We love bald men, We love bald women like myself.
Spread love. Benny Blanco doing it again, raising the bar.
(23:10):
He heard that Selena Gomez never went to proms, so
he made a prom for Selena Gomez, so flipping cute
prom dresses, prom photos. I hope you got her party bus,
because girl ain't no prom without a party bus. I
went to seven proms. Pick me, pick me, pick me. Literally,
(23:32):
I went to seven proms because I was always the
default prom date. Like if you did not have a
prom date and word got around, the word would get around. Oh, Crystal,
you'd be a fun prom date. Can you go with
blah blah blah? Can you go with me? I don't
have a date, girl. I've been dds for parties. I've
gone to proms like I've gone to proms like for
(23:56):
ten different schools. And this isn't just seeing you. This
is junior and senior proms, so in two or actually
I think my sophomore year two. Yeah, so in total,
I've been to seven proms, junior and senior proms. Let
me see my favorite one. They were all really fun,
but I think my I think my. They were all fun.
(24:17):
But my senior prom, Oh my gosh, I like saved
up for so long for that dress that I wore.
I coordinated the whole thing, invited only my best friends.
It was so funny because some of my good friends
they knew that our bus was going to be the
littest bus, but they also wanted some of their best
friends on the bus too. But one of my best
friend's best friend's date was this guy that was my
(24:40):
arch nemesis to this day. I do not like this
guy and he triggers me to the core. He was
just I had no respect, so rude, no respect for teachers.
He would like he would like be rude to teachers.
He would pick on teachers. This guy in my class
(25:00):
and he was dating He was actually dating my best
friend's best friend, but happened to be the date. And
I told my best friend, I'm like, he's not coming
on my party bus. Like, he's not coming on my
party bus. I'm sorry, but no, And I think he
like literally came up to me and asked. He actually
he actually grew the kahonas to ask me, and I'm
(25:21):
pretty sure I did. I'm pretty sure I caved and
it allowed him to go Isabella, can you clock me?
You know what I'm talking about, right, You're you're a
good friend Vanessa's date for prom? Did I let them
come with us? This is my prom I'm the prom coin.
I was not the prom queen. I'm the prom coin.
This is my party bus. And if you are, if
(25:42):
I don't mess with you, you ain't coming on the bus.
And it was literally just what one guy who to
this day, Oh my gosh, it's so funny because one
of my theats actually worked at a grocery store with
this guy, and I would always tell her that I
did not mess with him. And this was after high
school girl, this like after high school. Me and this
man's beef continued just on my end. I mean, I
(26:04):
don't think he knew it's because we got into a
spattle one time and he's like he kept he had
kept getting added towards me. I'm like, what is wrong
with you? Who do you think you're talking to? I
think he even told me to shut up. I'm like,
you're telling me to shut up. Don't ever tell me
to shut up. I will shut you down. Out of
this school before I let a man tell me to
shut up. It was one of those situations, right, because
I think I was defending the teacher that he was bullying. Honestly,
(26:27):
I think that I can't I cannot remember, but I
don't exactly remember what happened, but I just know that
I gone to a spat with him and I was like,
you're done to me. So then when it came to
the time of us coordinating this party bus, he's, you know,
the pro senior prom day of one of my best
friend's best friends. Anyways, he worked it through the grocery
(26:47):
store that my theah worked at, and she knew that
he was the office too. I'm like, I cannot believe
you work with that guy. That's crazy, Like I hate
this guy or I do not like this guy. For X, Y,
and Z, She's like, yep, yep, yep, and then went
on right, she tells me this guy was applying to
be a freaking sheriff and I said, absolutly, not on
(27:09):
any planet does this guy need to have any authority
to have any weapons that he could use against civilians.
He is one of those people that wants to be
on authority just because he wants the power, and he
will be so unfair and he will try to hit
those quotas and he will not have any mercy on anybody.
(27:29):
I was like, who do I need to call to?
What captain? What sheriff? Captain? Do I need to call
and get this guy not hired in any county ever? Dang,
I have so many questions. I have so many questions.
But no, that's scene. That problem bus was crazy. The
funniest part was that I coordinated it at all. I
(27:50):
also thankful that one of my good friends, she let
us all do the coordination at her house. So we
had like a pre prom pictures at her house. And
then we're waiting for the bus, and then we're waiting
for the bus. We're waiting for the bus that we
all paid to come pick us up the party bus
girl an hour and a half and this party bus
didn't show up, and all the parents are ready to
(28:12):
take us in mini vans all the way from San
Leandro to San Francisco. I'm on the verge of tears.
I'm crashing out. I'm like, dang, y'all. Everyone's like, why
do we let Crystal organize? Why do we let Crystal organize?
And as we're as we're shoving ourselves into vans, this
big old bus pulls up. I'm like, oh my gosh,
(28:34):
by the grace of Jesus himself, the bus pulled up
just right at the last second, right when we're all
going to pilot the Cars's so funny, and we get
on and booped it a boop. We are just bouncing
it all over at that party bus and oh my gosh,
I freaking love party buses. You got, you know, for
my dirty thirty one last year, I had a party bus.
(28:54):
All my friends, all my friends, Like, if I could
have a party bus every year for my birthday, I
would do that because it is so fun. That's the
best part of prom. And Bortes tho, my man Zaddy,
he never gone to He never went to prom. He
never went to prom. He never got into a party bus.
He never had a prom day. And I'm just thinking,
oh my gosh, thank goodness, because I cannot handle the
thought of you going to prom with a woman like
(29:15):
that would literally crush my spirit in my soul. So
I got to take my man Zaddy on a party
bus and I was a prom queen for my dirty thirty,
my trind Taniira, and he was all cute in his
little tugs and his little pink Oh my gosh, it
was all blacked out with his pink tie to match me.
Our freaking pictures are so funny, Oh my gosh. And
(29:40):
he had the best time. He oh my gosh. So
I got to I pretty much did it first, Benny Blanco,
I did it first. I took my man on a prom,
a mini prom, and just prom has always been so
special to me. Remember during the pandemic, I had my
prom party and it was the weekend of shutdown and
(30:00):
I was like, I do not care, and everyone started
flicking off like like dead flies. I was like, if
you don't want to come, if you're scared of Kovida,
stay home. I will provide masks for us. And I
sure did. And it was supposed to be forty five
people and only that they maybe twenty five came. But
that was a hoot, and it was the last hoorah
until a year until show. We were shut down after that,
(30:21):
so I was like, thank goodness, we all came, we
got out, we went outside, we were outside. Problem is
always a special moment, I know, not every single actually yeah,
every problem that I had was a one. I'm not
gonna lie to you. Yeah, I did not have not
one bad problem because I was always going to prom
with friends like I never I wasn't the type I
(30:42):
was hooking up at prom because I was so scared.
And I also wasn't drinking at prom because again I
was very scared to get in trouble. I was already
in so much trouble by prom, especially my senior year,
like I had already gone so grounded that whole year.
They sold my car, they my door off, my door
off for all of high school. They kept take taking
my door off every time I would have my my parents.
(31:04):
My mom at particular, was like looking for reasons to
get me in trouble, to take my door off. I
like didn't have. Yeah, senior year was busted, but that
prom was a send off and she that was a
good time. And I had a torn a cl I
had a torn a cl and moniscus for Prom and
I was still tore it down. That was a good time.
Shout out to you. You're hanging out with me and
you're on that epic one. Are the many epic prom
(31:25):
buses that we had. Love you, Isabella, Zach, Love you guys.
Shout out to prom. Shout to prom season. All the
kiddos that are getting their dresses. It's about that time.
It is prom season among us. And then did you
hear that parents are getting their kids hotel rooms for
prom these days? Oh? Absolutely not my mo it. Oh no, no, no,
(31:49):
no no, that's a no for me. But uh, have fun,
be safe, keep that tracker on your kids, make sure
that they're being good kids. Fear installed, installed fear into
them to make good decisions. That's what my mom did.
It worked for me. It worked for me. Of course,
we have to talk about Beyonce on her Cowboy Carter
(32:12):
tour that just kicked off last night or the night
before in La. She's got a few shows. The thing
is that some of these tickets were pretty cheap online,
so if you were trying to go last minute, there
might be room. I saw some on ticket Master. I
was you know me, I was just chee most because
I saw someone tweet like cowboy carter tickets or only
(32:32):
twenty bucks or whatever. I saw some for eighty bucks
on Ticketmaster last night for the for her LA show.
She has a few of them, La, she has a
few in New York, she has a few all over.
The most adorable thing that we're seeing is Blue Ivy.
Shut it down. Let's throw it back to her first
stage hit when she was dancing to her Mommy put
(32:53):
that side by side to her today. What a gorgeous
with it confident young woman she has turned into. Oh
my gosh. And then they brought out the little twin Roomy.
Oh my gosh. Roomy's on there with her big old smile,
doing her little arm things. Oh my gosh, it's so
cute to see. These are the nipple babies I love
(33:13):
to see because they look so cute. And little Blue
Ivy she's just, you know, doing her thing as Beyonce's manager. Wow,
I was shocked at seeing the growth and Blue Ivy.
She's getting so tall and she's so pretty. She's looking
just like her mom. Oh my, and the little one too,
her big old smile on stage, waving to everybody. Being
(33:35):
shook at all the responses Cowboy Carter to the tour.
The album was great. It obviously is not getting as
much hype as Renatsaurances Part one, but that's okay. You
know what's gonna happen. But I love seeing that everyone
is out to spport Beyonce coming up with the whole
cowboy fits and tickets are cheaper than ever, and I
(33:58):
feel like that's happening to a lot of stadium towards
these days. We might be able to get some tickets
for the Lolo if you check it out out, So
be on the lookout for that shout out to the
little kids because they're killing it. Hey, this has been
trending all weekend long. One gorilla versus one hundred men
locked in a room. Did you have this debate with
your friends and family? Because the debate is getting real
(34:20):
heated in my comments if you haven't checked, you can
chime in at La Crystal dal saughs on everything. But
that is I don't know how this conversation came about,
but I need to see it happen in real life.
We need some strong men to just get lock themselves.
Mister Beast is down to try to somehow make this happen.
We need to get one hundred men in a room
(34:42):
with a gorilla, because with my chest I've been saying
I think the hundred men will win. I get it.
Gorillas are strong. They can smash our school with their fist.
I understand, they can rip our arms off. I get it.
But there's still only a mammal. Bro are still just
one mammal. And if you have a hundred men and
(35:05):
we know, oh, we know the damage that men can do.
You you know the damage men can do. Angry men
when their lives are threatened, You think they can't turn
into a gorilla. You haven't seen the crazy, bombastic things
men have done before. Yeah, I would not put it
past men. Uh, most men scare me other than other
(35:30):
than my own man. So yeah, I don't want to
be that gorilla because I feel like one is getting
the eyes, one is grabbing the arm, and the other
arm and the other arm one you know, biding them
a Sure, we might have a few casualties. You know,
I got man splained by Josh Martinez, who does knights
here at Ze one hundred about gorillas. I don't know
if Josh I ended up doing a school project for
(35:51):
a few years in a row about gorillas. I don't
know why he knows so much about silvil backs. But listen,
men are strong too, and they also have opposable thumbs.
I mean, yes, not all men have opposable toe thumbs.
I understand that, but I still think a man's gonna win.
So of course I head of Chatchybt because Chatchibt knows everything,
(36:15):
and Chatchibt agreed with me. Here is what it said
when I asked it, it saidhem and I quote. In
almost all realistic scenarios, one hundred men would survive against
one gorilla if they work together and are locked in
a room. Here's why. Physical power. Yes, a silver back
goerrilla is immensely strong, with bite force muscle power far
(36:35):
exceeding that of a human. It can easily overpower a
single person and potentially take down several unarmed men before
being stopped. However, one hundred men, even untrained, have a
massive numerical advantage. That's what I'm saying. If they coordinate,
they can restrain, subdue, or even kill the gorilla by
sheer weight of numbers and mass. There are real life
(36:57):
factors that can get us more favor to a gorilla,
for example, a panic or lack of coordination. It could
lead to initial casualties, but eventually the group would win
by attrition. Especially in a confined space. One hundred men
would almost certainly survive one hundred men, one hundred men.
(37:17):
Do gree with me now or still know you're like girl,
do our mause with a gorilla and see what happens.
I get you. But if there are a hundred of mees,
you know, if it's a man, it's a man gorilla, right,
you think if I don't just don't bend it over
real quick, I'm not going to confuse a gorilla. Okay,
I think this is this is this will get illegal.
This is illegal talk that I cannot jargon with. But
(37:39):
you know what I mean. You know what I'm saying, well,
is we know how to we can seduce any man.
So I don't think a gorilla is that much different
than these men that are walking upright with opposable toes.
So that's big toes. That's what I want to say
about that. What do you think? Let me know? On
everything including snapchat is where I hit back most lack
(37:59):
of crystal, Little sus Crystal, what the heck? Is going
on with you? What the heck is going on with
wedding planning? You got is? Are you getting scammed your
wedding dress? Or let's get into it. Crystal's cave. Hello,
who's in here? It's so dark? Ew? What's dripping? Step
on something? You're now inside Crystal's cave? Cave? So what
(38:24):
do we think about Zaddy? You've never heard him before,
we've never had a convo with him in the nightcap,
So what are your thoughts after hearing him and his
aura and his vibes? Yo, It's just I'm so I'm
so thankful because we've come a long way since last year.
I've shared before how last year I tried to bring
(38:48):
Zaddy on the pod for our engagement episode and he
just crashed the heck out and he just like he
couldn't take it. It was too nerve wracking for him.
It was a new environment. He just literally went off
in his head and was just so crazy and was
just thinking, I can't do this. This isn't me, this
(39:09):
is your world. I can't be in this world. This
is and I'm just a babe. It's not that serious.
It is not that serious, Like, go sit down, I
will record the pod by myself. It's okay. And I
had explained to you that recently he apologized for that episode.
He wasn't like lashing out at me. It was his
own eternal struggle, and he recently apologized that he crashed
out for that and how he shouldn't have done that,
(39:31):
and how whenever I want next time he's in. So
I had told him, I was like, Babe, come on Tuesday,
pull up. And he really did pull up, and he
was so great. He was exceptional. He's a great storyteller,
he was engaged. She had a good time. He even
said he had a good time afterwards. So thanks, love Bug,
love you so much. I had a great week with him.
(39:53):
We had so much fun. Yo. You have to listen
to what happened Thursday morning, because the whole week I
was really excited because his new don't a shop opened
here in New York City called I Do Donuts, and
it's a very famous Japanese donut shop that went viral
in Japan and now they brought it to New York
City for the first time last week. It opened on Monday.
(40:14):
So the whole week I was just talking about donuts, doughnuts, don't. Oh,
Alyssa's calling hello, queen. Hi. Okay, So there's pasta, there's
solid Do you want any of that? Is there? Chicken cutlets?
There's like, yes, a mad amount of chicken farm Okay,
(40:36):
did you want the pizza stem? No? Thank you XX.
What a queen? What a queen. I've always wanted someone
like Elyssa to run down with the lunches here to
get it for me while I'm working, and she's just iconic.
So this new I Do Donuts opened up in New
York City, and I knew it was about to get
(40:58):
buck wild. So I told him, let's get up, Let's
go to the donut shop. We pull up around eleven o'clock,
even though opens at ten. Why does the lady there
there's a huge line in the front of the back.
The lady's like, it's gonna be an hour to an
hour and a half wait, and I'm just in my
head thinking, no, it's not, No, it's not. I look
at my I'm like, babe, no, it's not. Because I
have an interview, I think at one point thirty for
(41:18):
an artist interview miss Anija, yeah, miss Onnisea herself. Robinson
was pulling up. I'll get to that in a second.
So I was telling Zaddy. I was like, don't worry,
it's gonna be fine. As we're waiting this line, I
start thinking, oh my gosh, it really might be an
hour and an hour and a half. And Zaddy, he's
not the one. He's not the one to be waiting
(41:39):
in lines for things. He is way too bougie. He
hates waiting a line, and usually I hate waiting in
lines too. But when you were telling me that you
have a BLT donut, you have a chicken teraoke chicken
karaoke bagel donut. You're telling me you have a sausage donut. Yeah,
I don't care how long the line is. I'm waiting
(41:59):
in this These donuts look hella good and I'm really excited.
So we start waiting this line, we start chit chatting
with other people. Daddy's like literally on his computer in line,
and time is ticking. Girl is getting closer to twelve
thirty where I'm supposed to have an interview, like maybe
like a fifteen minute walk away to work. I'm just like, dang,
(42:20):
I'm hella sad. You know what this is? At Influencers,
the influencers are usually late. I'm just going to cross
my fingers as she's late, but dang, I really want
to be able to get these donuts. And Thatay's like,
it's okay, babe, Like if you have to run to work,
I will stay in this line, I'll get the donuts
for us. And then, by the grace god, I get
a text, Hi, you guys were running late. It's gonna
be closer to one one thirty. Now I'm like, yes,
(42:42):
oh my gosh, yes, the interview is running late. They're
saying one pet thirty. She probably won't pull up till
one forty five. I am solid. So we stay for
another hour, hour and a half in this dang line
and it's okay. I mean, it's it's an experience, all right,
it's a New York City experience. We finally get a
little clipboard to circle which donuts we want. I want
the coffee donut, I want the blt donut. I want
(43:04):
the chicken karaokey donut. I want the sausage donut. I
want the original donut. And then I start texting all
my besties at work. I'm like, David, what do you want, Alyssa,
what do you want our homie, Harry Daniels is pull
to Harry and his sister, what do you guys want?
So we ended up getting like eight dozen donuts. They're yeah,
(43:25):
I think they're like ten dollars each. The ones with
me are like fifteen dollars. Yes, very expensive. I completely
get it. But listen, they're famous donuts. Okay. They're in
New York City for the first time from Japan. And
we took a bite of that sausage donut. Girl, I
fell in love with the sausage other than my man's.
When I tell you, I gobbled and dabbled and swallowed
(43:47):
that thing up. Girlfriend, I was just jaw dropped at
this sausage donut. Okay. And then on our walk over
to the st we start chomping on the chicken kaaki
all right, and that terry yaki marinated onions beautiful and
(44:10):
like the bun, it's like a bagel, but the bagel
is actually a donut so good. I'm getting the chills
just thinking about this. Then we get to work are
the interview that I have is she's still not there,
and I'm like, this is perfect. So I give everyone
the donuts. Me Harry Alissa Harry's sister. We're all living
our best lives eating these beautiful donuts. And then she
(44:31):
pulls up miss O Naji Robinson. Hi, I'm on Nija
Robinson with Crystal Roses on Z one hundred period now
on Niger Robinson. You may or may not know the name,
but you definitely know the viral story. Last month, she
went viral because she had an online boyfriend from Pakistan.
(44:55):
She's from the Bronx in New York City, by the way,
That's what she says. So she's from the Bronx. She
met a boyfriend online. She got married to this guy
in Pakistan. She went to go visit him, according to her,
I mean you can check out the full interview on
our Z one hundred YouTube. According to her, she says
that she kind of overstayed her welcome, but it kind
of got crazy where the citizens of Pakistan were kind
(45:18):
of just questioning her and had so many wonders about her.
She's out here demanding money for charity. She's doing everything
in the name of charity. She wants to help Pakistan
and make Pakistan better. And then she pulled back to
the US and now she's living her best life. So yes, Oh,
Nija Robinson. She pulled up and I was kind of
(45:39):
nervous for this interview because I didn't know who I
was going to get. All I've seen was his girl
on socials. But she is a straight up a girl
from the Bronx. She is straight up, so funny, so chill,
so sweet, the sweetest heart ever. She's a Muslim, so
she talks about that. She talks about how she met
her husband, how she still talks to him and missus
him and has plans to bring him the States. You
(46:01):
need to check out this interview. I learned so much
about her, so many funny moments, so many iconic funny moments.
I was wondering, do you listen to popular music? Is
there any artists or a mainstream that are some of
your favorites? Yeah? What the what the helly? What the
helly on with the helly on? With the helly? Barry?
What the hell of Barry? What the helly? That's my song? Right? Theah,
(46:24):
I could say that because I'm tired of people. I
gotta say, what the hell, what the hell? Do you
know that song? But what the helly song? If you do,
then you clearly brain were on TikTok just as much
as I do. But oh my gosh, yes it was.
It was definitely a moment because let me give you
some behind the scenes. All right. So one thing that
(46:46):
producer Alyssa does for me is I'll just start shouting
out names and I'm like, get them on interview for us,
like I want them on the show. And these are
people that I followed for a long time, some people
that are influencers, some big artists. I'm like, girl, Getsline
Gomes on and she and she did, I'll be like, girl,
get Ashtravino on, and she she locked in with her.
(47:09):
Now Ashtravino, she flaked on us. She was here in
Newark and she was like, oh, I don't we don't
feel comfortable driving. It's too sketchy driving. And we're like, girl,
you're gonna get me canceled anyways, so goodbye. But yes,
we booked Ashtravino. We've booked who is another She is
a psychotic person on TikTok. But when that was hot,
that was happening, I told her, I was like, get
(47:31):
on Nijon. I was like, get Nijon and she freaking
got on Nyjhon right and then not only that, our
digital team sent out to email like hey, we're doing
O Nijah blah blah blah, we need to set this up.
And then all the other radio shows in the building.
So we're talking everything from like the the hip hop
(47:53):
station on Power to down the halls, other stations KCHU.
Other people from the other shows, their producers or video
editors were on those emails and they were like, hey,
how'd you guys get on Naija? Like can you slider
over to us? And the thing about me is I'm
not a gatekeeper like I will. I believe that you
(48:13):
just spread the love and the love will come back
one way or another. But I in my industry have
met a lot of gatekeepers one way or another. I
worked closely with someone who was an incredibly awful gatekeeper,
and it was so ridiculous, to the point where I
would be hit up by a record leap I was.
I would see like a record label person out that
(48:34):
I haven't seen it forever and say, oh, hey, what's up.
I was like, They're like, oh, hey, Like I tried
to email you. I asked blah blah blah for your email,
and they gave me an email that bounced back or
oh I told blah blah blah to invite you and
they said that you were busy, and I was like,
what they never told They never told me that. And
then I would circle back around and say, oh, did
you did blah blah tell you to invite you? And
(48:56):
they would like literally gasline me and be like, oh, yeah,
I thought you were gonna be busy that I was like,
why would you assume? Why don't you ask? This person
that I used to work with, would like, as I said,
give out wrong emails, give out my wrong email, would
lie that I was busy for events when I wasn't,
and would like refuse to give people in our industry
(49:18):
like my info when they were specifically asking for it,
like for our careers. And so that's happened plenty of
many times in my career. It was bombastic that that
had happened to me the past few years. So I
always I'm saying gatekeepers like y'all, y'all are weird, and
I always believe that we can just spread the love.
(49:40):
You know, interview that I do with an artist is
going to be different than the interview that that same
artist does with somebody else. You know, we all have
our strengths and weaknesses, and I don't think that gatekeeping
information or people or events or anything is going to
affect anyone. And you know, some people that's how they
want to get ahead, and that's okay, But I just
I don't think that's a good karma. It's because it's
(50:01):
been done to me many times in my career. I
do not respect it. So when we were getting asked
through the grape vine, how did you guys book ONIJA
because that was not an easy booking. I'll tell you
that that was not easy booking, I was like, okay, yeah,
give them, give them whoever, give them the info, give
them the booking agents info, whatever. But I was always like,
but can we also get info on the people that
(50:23):
you guys get, because you guys have people coming through
all the time and we don't know about it, and
we would love to have some of those interviews too.
You know, sometimes I see people that were here down
the hall, like the morning of and I'm like, dang,
if I would have known, I would have sat down
with them. I would have came in early to work
with them. So that's something that was happening. But everybody
was jocking Onija, and everybody was trying to book with
(50:44):
Onija after they found out that we booked her here
in the building for us. So the interview with Onaija
went really well. She collabed on one of our posts.
It did incredible. Even my boss, who she is verrely
she is very rarely shook or impressed by people that
we book on our own, but when we told her
that we booked this girl, she was like, wait, what,
(51:06):
that's insane, Like that is crazy. We're like, I know,
and so the interview went really really well. Interestingly enough,
when we had asked the booking agent that was there,
we're like, oh, like, she's not going to do the
other shows, and they're like, oh no, we probably didn't
get to their email like we've been. We've just been
so busy we probably didn't get to it. So I
feel like they did reach out to her, but because
we got her first, they saw our email and wanted
(51:28):
to come here on Z one hundred, But all the
other emails after our our initial booking just kind of
got you know, tossed to the side because this girl
is booked and busy. So that was that's what ended
up happening. You know. With that, you see now you're
hearing some behind the scenes stuff that goes on in
(51:48):
these streets. Because yes, girl, a gatekeeping does happen, and
it does happen towards me, But I'm not going to
be the one. I always believe spread the love. Why not?
You know what I'm saying. So the interview with Onija
was in credit and I'm very thankful that we got
to do that. So that was that day and then
Zaddy left me. He left me, but over the weekend,
(52:11):
I I went out. I went to the diamond district
because me and Zaddi are looking for his ring, his
engagement ring, which we're so excited about. When he was
trying on different sizes, he was trying on different cuts
and different polishes, and we found exactly what he liked.
And this is terrible timing because gold has never been
(52:33):
more expensive. Huh, that would happen. But the thing about
gold is I always goes up and up and up.
And my brother Junior was like, oh, but it's gonna
go down. I was like, okay, but it's gonna go
back up. It's it's gonna eventually go back up. So
there's never a right time to buy gold because it's
always gonna go up and it's always gonna be expensive.
But really excited about that. I maybe mentioned to you
(52:55):
that I already drew my wedding band. I gra had
everything set as soon as Zaddy told me during our
Grease trip, right before our Grease trip, if I was
open to be an engaged while I lived in New York,
I had that. I had my rings already sketched. I
told you this. I had my rings already sketched, and
I put my sketches in my prayer book right on
(53:19):
my birthday, March fifteenth, twenty twenty five, because I wanted
to be engaged by that day, and he ended up
engaging me the October before. Oh manifesting. When it works out,
it works out. So I already had my exact engagement
ring and wedding ring drew. Now like I already had
my engagement ring, but the wedding bands, I want them
in a very specific way. So I sent that to
(53:41):
the jewelers that I'm working with, and they came back
and they added this, and they added that, and they
just all this, and you know, it was beautiful, but
it's not what I drew. And not what I wanted.
And I'm just like, I know y'all trying to upsell me'll,
I know y'all trying to add more, bigger, crazier diamonds
around this. But this middle diamond I'm completely grateful for
and thankful for, and I don't want to distract her.
(54:04):
I don't want my wedding bands to distract from my
center diamond. I just want a little tiny, you know,
pizaz on the edges. I do not want big old
rocks on the edges. I don't want to spend on that.
I really just don't and I don't think. I think
because the middle diamond is so beautiful, it's a beautiful marquee,
I don't want this razzle dazzle on the side. So
(54:27):
I told them that they completely understood, and they're gonna
go back to give me some three designs of how
that's gonna look. And then we have Zadi's is just
very easy, right, His is already set, And so then
I have some other presence under my sleeve that I'm
working on as well. So I went to the diamond
struct to district to go compare because again the price
of gold is insane and So when I got quoted
(54:48):
for something at the at the jeweler, the boutique jeweler,
I went straight down to the diamond district. I was like,
how much would this be? And they gave me the
pretty much the exact same rate, and I'm I'm like, dang,
gold really is just expensive. And I even askedchatchypt and
they said around the same thing. Because you know, you
never know if like a boutique jeweler is gonna just
upsell you for the name or whatever of the thing.
(55:11):
But everything you know is it's an expensive girl. It's
looking crazy. Now I am wedding dress browsing. I went
wedding dress shopping the other morning, which is really cute,
and I told you about that. And then I've been
looking a lot online and there's one specific dress I
really really want for me and Saddi's garden wedding and
(55:35):
I cannot find anywhere. I found it on Poschmart for
it was on Posmark for two hundred dollars and then
I negotiated for one hundred and fifty and they said yes.
And the shipping label has been printed for three weeks
four weeks now, no shipments have been made. So I
think I'm getting scammed because when I looked around online
(55:59):
for these photos of this exact dress, I can only
find it on a website in Saudi Arabia. It's it's
I can only find it in Arabic writing. So I
definitely think, especially because of the price too, I definitely
think I got scammed. You know, I had high hopes
for this. I was trying to be a cheap peep
and it just did not work out for me. I'm
getting scammed on that wedding dress. I found a very
(56:20):
similar one on a bridle of a very popular bridle
website called Allure. Alure Bridle and a lot of boutiques
carry this designer Allure. So I found the very similar
dress on Allure and I'm just like, I'm not paying
this full price, like this is crazy. I'm I'm not
paying like a grand and a half or two grand
(56:43):
for a garden wedding dress like this is crazy. So
I found another website, Bear with me, Bear with me.
I found another website for that sells use dresses, used
wedding dresses. It's called still white dot com girl. I
found the exact same dress. I found the exact dress like,
(57:07):
on there, my size and everything only for one thousand dollars.
And then I messaged her. I was like, cause you can,
you can bid on it or negotiate. So I said, girl,
give it to me for seven hundred. Give it to
me for seven hundred. And she's like, do I'm gonna
ship it to you or can you pick it up?
Because it's in California, it's in it's in Chico, and
(57:28):
I'm just like, if you could ship it to me, sis,
if you could ship it to me, that would be perfect.
That was an hour ago, you know. So I'm waiting
for her to read it and to see it. But
I hopefully if I can get this dress for half off,
I don't care if somebody wore it. Do you think
I care? It's a it's a garden wedding. I'm gonna
be in the dirt dragging this dress around a girl.
(57:49):
Ain't nobody got time to be spending these crazy prices
on this way. I'm trying to im no, no, no, no,
no no. So hopefully that works out. But yeah, this
is taking me out all these prices for things. You guys,
I haven't even got my tax returned back. I'm refreshing
my bank app every four seconds. Every four seconds, I'm
(58:09):
refreshing my bank app, praying that I got my direct
deposit for my tax return because my tax guy he
went off, he went in. I'm I'm so thankful for him.
So that's what's going on in the dress world. And
I told you I'm gonna have another wedding. This is
this is just like one of our weddings that we're
gonna have coming up. But you know, my other wedding
maybe since it's down the line more, it's not until
(58:31):
I move back to California. You know, I feel like
God willing, We're gonna be in a different financial situation now.
Like I'm very thankful and I'm beyond blissed with my finances.
But living in New York City is so expensive. Zaddy
also pays mad rent to live or we live over
there in California, and it's just groceries are too high,
(58:53):
and like everything is going up and up and up
except for our pay, Like why why is everything going up?
But our pay is not reflecting that that it's crazy
to me. So and at the same time, can we
find an actual house to live? Can we please find
a house to live. I'm trying to put a down
payment on a house to live in. You know what
I'm saying. There's just so many things. So we're all
in the same boat. We're all the struggle bus together.
(59:14):
It's okay. Check out those secondhand websites. Girls start bidding crazy.
Just bid half of what they're offering. Because at first
I was trying to bid five hundred dollars, but she's like,
it's at the minimum. You can bid a seven hundred
on this dress. I'm gonna to shoot that. I'm betting
seven hundred. I don't not care. And like I feel
like not a whole bunch of people are buying second
(59:36):
hand dresses and stuff because I'm on Poschmart and things
like that. I'm looking at these dresses for like months
they've been on sale. So try to be smart, try
to get ahead of the game, try to continue to
save your coins. The reason I'm not too pressed about
spending money on gold or our and our wedding rings
(59:57):
and things like that is because at least go is
one of the very few things that really does appreciate
Like I don't even think diamonds appreciate it like that.
I don't even think that if I took this rock
off and tried to sell it, I would get it
for even half the price that Zaddi paid for it,
which is so sad, So like that, we know, we know,
we know, we know, we know, we get it, we
had it, we get it. But this was going on
(01:00:19):
in the updated wedding world. So I'll tell you if
this lady sends that dress, because I've also been asking
boutiques around and none of the boutiques carry the dress.
They're like, we can order it for you and then
you'll pay this much and if you don't like it,
then you can use that money for dress down the line.
And I'm just like, okay, okay, okay, we got it.
We get it. So that's what's going on in that world.
We have our food tasting coming up in a few
(01:00:40):
weeks as well. We're really excited. The whole family's coming.
Of course, we always have to make everything a family event. Yeah,
me Zaddi, the Rizzler, my mom, the little duck, my dad,
I'm an a ba. We're all going food tasting for
the wedding. And I said this before. One place I
will not cheap out on is my food. Like I
(01:01:03):
want good food. I want good steak, I want good shrimp.
I'm a shrimp girl. So it is what it is.
So I'm hoping that we like the catering place that
we're gonna go taste food at, and that's the next
on the to do list. I still, I mean, it's
coming up, so I really need to figure out this
dress situation. I'm looking at options, so that's good too.
(01:01:25):
We're also gonna be finalizing like the decor and things
like that. It's gonna be very small our wedding, so
I don't think we're gonna have a DJ. I think
we're literally just gonna like ask chatch ebt to come
up with the perfect wedding playlist and just do that.
So yeah, that's what's going on in my wedding world,
isn't it crazy? Oh my gosh, and my wedding world.
(01:01:46):
I'm getting married. I'm getting married so crazy. I think
I did tell you this how I was getting sad
because I was eating with my man. I'm the rizzler,
and I was just thinking, oh my gosh, like this
is my life, Like my I'm removing myself from my
nuclear family because that's all I know from living back
(01:02:09):
in California was life with my mom, my dad, the
duck Junior, my brother a Stevan, just eating every day
at my mom's house. But that life is done, That
life is in a coffin. Now. My new life now
is living with Zaddy and the little Rizzler and and
I love it. But it's just like that realization of
knowing that that part of your life is over and
now you're starting your own family, Like now you are
(01:02:32):
the mom and dad house where you know the kids
are gonna have dinner there, and like this is the
vibe that we're doing. It's just it's so crazy, and
it's it's just it's so different because I'm in such
a weird limbo of not living there, so it doesn't
even feel really real yet. And I even told Zaddy
(01:02:52):
because he's he's the one that I mean, I want
to marry him obviously, but he's the one that wants
to officially. He's just like I need to be we
need to get married now, Like if you're gonna live
in New York and I'm gonna live in California for
the time being, like at at least, please be my wife,
Please be my wife. So he wants it to be settled,
and obviously, and I think that I not that I
(01:03:12):
have hesitation. I have zero hesitation about him and I
as a married couple. I just I'm not. I don't
have that pressure, I don't have that feeling. I know
that him and I are period locked in, so when
we get married, it doesn't matter to me because if
it really was up to me, like I would just
wait and have our big old wedding when I move
(01:03:33):
back home, and that's it. But he's he doesn't want
he wants a wifey. He wants a wifey, and I
trust me like I want to be wifey, like I
am wifey. It's just it's it's all happening. It's just
a really weird mental place for me because I don't
live there, so it's it's just different now. And my
heart and my brain and my body is in two
(01:03:55):
different places and kind of like juggling this somewhat double
life that gets intertwined every month, and it's it's odd,
it's different, but it's also really nice. And I did
realize that, you know, I need to get be outside.
I need to be outside. And I've shared this before.
It's been really hard because it's been so cold these
(01:04:15):
past few months. But girl, all this week it's been
seventy seventy five degrees. It is booty short weather. And
trust me, you, if we're gonna live in New York City,
we are gonna be living out in New York City.
We're gonna be out on these guys. And I promise
myself that, especially now, I have nothing to complain about.
I have almost every single weekend off. Now I need
(01:04:37):
to be outside. I need to enjoy living in New
York City. I need to reconnect with some friends. I
need to enjoy what the city has to offer and
all of the benefits. So I plan on being outside
a little more. So you'll hear about that in next
week's episode, because girl, we went outside, We went outside,
and we got interesting. So make sure you're here next
(01:04:57):
week for next week's episode of At Crystal's night Cap.
Thank you for being I know is a little late
this week, but you know, better late than never. Let's
do our positivity for the day. Our daily motivator is
called energy of hope. M Allow yourself to feel a
hopeful energy that drives you to make a difference in
your everyday moments. Put that energy into action. Life is
(01:05:18):
not a static arrangement. It flows accordingly to the priorities
and commitments of those who live it. What you do
matter is not only to yourself, but to many who
exist far outside your awareness. You're connected in ways you
know of, in ways you may eventually come to understand,
and in ways you'll never realize. The exact mechanisms of
those connections are not nearly as important as reminding yourself
(01:05:40):
that they always remain present and active. Every truthful word
you speak in, every good act you perform, are multiplied
through them. Oh, some people operate under the false impression
that they have much to gain by discouraging you. That's
so interesting. Some people operate under the false impression that
they have much to gain by discouraging you. Avoid being
(01:06:02):
entrapped yourself by such delusions, while also steering clear of
those who buy into them. Instead, seek the energy of hope,
and you will find it while it also finds you.
For goodness, it is not just a nice thing. It
at the heart of everything you love and care about.
It is at the heart of everything you love and
care about. For goodness, it is not just a nice thing.
(01:06:23):
It is at the heart of everything you love and
care about. That part hit me like this, this penultimate,
penultimate stanza. Some people operate under the false impression that
they have much to gain by discouraging. You avoid being
(01:06:45):
entrapped yourself by such disillusions while also steering clear of
those who buy into them. That's a good one. That
is such a good one. Yeah, we got we gotta
stay away from from any any person or aura or
(01:07:08):
energy that operates in a way where they think they
can gain things by discouraging any discouragement, any negativity, any naysayers,
any people around you that give you the itch or
make you feel icky. You gotta put that boundary up.
(01:07:29):
You got it to detach from that where we allow that.
And I've allowed that in my life. I've allowed people's
negative auras and energies to infiltrate me before, and I
worked on that. I worked on that for so long.
(01:07:49):
I've told you that, I've I said this all the time.
But yeah, that is how I got closer to religion.
And that's what helped me in my faith, is when
I realized I'm allowing people to impede on my joy
and that's like, that is what we allow like your
like you and Mi's reality is only what we allow,
(01:08:11):
because if you don't allow that around your life, then
that doesn't become your reality anymore. Avoid being entrapped yourself
by such delusions while also staying clear of those who
buy into them. And I think that's why I've been
in such a better place. Like I'm not, I still
struggle with things, don't get me wrong, like I do
still have my everyday struggles. And I tell you a
(01:08:33):
lot of the good stuff, or you know, and I
even tell you the bad stuff. But I think something
that I'm so thankful for and I've figured out real
power is having the freedom to pick the people around
you at all times. How amazing is that Because for
(01:08:54):
a long time I didn't have that power. It was
other people telling me who I was going to have
around me. And I'm mostly talking about in my career, right, yeah,
I had. I was not in a position where I
had enough tenor and experience and just maybe respect or
(01:09:20):
trust in my company, in our company to allow me
to pick who was around me. And now right now
that I got this new contract at the beginning of
or at the end of last year, I was I
was granted the honor which is which is such a blessing.
(01:09:41):
I was granted the honor of choosing who I had
around me, And it was not a hard decision at all,
And especially when I said, you know what, I want
a producer, like I want someone to help me. I
had vetted people. I had vetted people around. I had
people come trying in, I people come sit in with
(01:10:01):
me just so that I could feel the energy. And
when I got the energy from Melissa the producer, Lissa,
oh my gosh, like it just it made so much sense.
And I had great people that that I like auditioned
for that role and they're still great people and I
still talk to a lot of them. But Alyssa had
this energy that I really needed. And when she was
(01:10:22):
like kind of selling herself for this position, everything that
she said just really lined up for what I needed
for my show. And now that I'm in this place here,
you know, because my only obligation is to be here
in this studio Monday through Friday two to six pm, right,
that is my only obligation on the contract. That's exactly
what I did do. Now when I do this, like
I look forward so much to coming and like I
(01:10:45):
am I'm here early or than I've ever been. I
think I told you that too, because it's just such
a joy to be around her, and like the fact
that I was able to pick that was is it's
just so beautiful. And you know, even though you know
I go home alone, when I move back home to
my family, like I've I have picked my man, like
(01:11:06):
I'm picking that home to go to every day, and
it's such a blessing. And then you know, after work,
we're going to be able to pick being around my
family or what friends I get to hang out with
when I move back home, and even here, I still
have that freedom to choose which friends I get to
see on the weekends here, or which friends I get
to see after work, and what I get to do.
(01:11:28):
And that really is such a freedom. And that's a
reality that we can create for ourselves. That's what I'm
trying to say. It's like that reality and if if
that's something that you want to work towards, that can
totally happen for you, just like it happened to me.
And there are people around our lives that one way
(01:11:52):
or another we cannot dictate them being around. It's just
like that they have to be around. And I've put
up with that for a long time in my career,
and luckily I'm in a solid place where I pray
to God I don't have to ever do that again.
But there's people in our families, in our family lives
that you cannot control them being around, like no matter what,
(01:12:14):
like they're gonna be they're connected to you somehow, They're
gonna be around somehow. But you can also dictate your
boundaries you have with them. And I think that that's
so important. And if you feel like there's someone around
you that any interaction you have is negative or you
don't feel good, if it's a family member, if it's
friends that you've had for a long time, if it's
co workers, like you have the control to detach, You
(01:12:36):
have the control to if it's healthy enough. Block. I'm
so quick and easy with the block button on everything, Like,
oh you're gonna text me, you're blocked. Oh you're gonna
now message me, you're blocked. Oh you're now coming up
on my comments. Here, you're blocked, and you're a whole
(01:12:56):
family's blocked. I blocked whole families. I've blocked. I've like
done my CIA research and found people's families and blocked
everybody in their families so they can't get to me
in any capacity. Yeah, it's just I'm just I'm not
the one like I've I've worked so hard to get
to that place. It's taken a long time. And you know,
sometimes we believe or we get tied into those situations
(01:13:21):
where there's negative people around us that kind of want
us to be soaking in that negativity and that like
darkness that they bring. But and I've been victim to that,
and I'm so thankful that now it's just so easy
to block, like just block and talk if you're willing
to talk, talk to the lawyer, like talk to the lawyer.
(01:13:44):
So I hope that gave you a little motivation to
not let anyone operate under the false impressions that they
have much to gain by discouraging you. Avoid them, avoid
the delusion, stand clear, denounce, denounce all negativity, bind and
(01:14:06):
banish the negative aura. I hope that helps. So now
we're going to get into our prayer of the day.
This is where we read our prayer from this book
that I Love Jesus calling Sarah Young. You can buy
it for yourself and Amazon. Every day it has a
prayer just remind you of God's presence. I know we're
not all faith based, we all pray to different things,
(01:14:29):
or maybe we don't. So I don't ever want to
persuade you or push you into an area that you
are not comfortable with or are not ready for. So
if you enjoy this episode, please put a five stars
wherever you're listening, leave a nice comment that really helps out.
Share with your friends. If you're loving it, I love
you so so much, Thank you so much for being here.
I will see you next week. And if you are
(01:14:51):
ready for this prayer, let's do it together. This one
is called when some basic need is lacking. When some
basic need is lacking to energy, money, consider yourself blessed.
Your very lack is an opportunity to latch onto me
in unashamed dependence. When you begin a day with inadequate resources,
(01:15:11):
you must concentrate your efforts in the present moment. This
is where you are meant to live, in the present.
It is a place where I always await you. Awareness
of your inadequacy is a rich blessing, training you to
rely wholeheartedly on me. Awareness of your inadequacy is a
rich blessing. It's training you to rely wholeheartedly on me.
(01:15:32):
The truth is that self sufficiency is a myth perpetuated
by pride and temporary success. Health and wealth can disappear instantly,
as can life itself. Rejoice in your insufficiency, knowing that
MY power is made perfect in weakness. James one two
(01:15:53):
to Corinthians twelve nine. What do you think about that?
I really like that it says your lack, your very lack,
is an opportunity to latch onto me in unashamed dependence.
(01:16:16):
I totally think of that when I think of God, like,
I don't feel ashamed, like I like, I feel so grateful,
and I feel so grateful that like my faith helps
me feel unashamed of anything. Like you don't have to
feel ashamed of nothing, girl Like you can literally say,
(01:16:38):
I am sorry, God, I love you, Please forgive me
of my sins and you are forgiven. Girl Like, if
you truly are like dang, I should not have done that,
and I feel bad. This faith allows allows someone to
be like, I freaking love you and it's okay, it's okay.
(01:17:00):
I respect that you acknowledge that you shouldn't have done that.
And that that was not right and it's okay. I
love you no matter what. That's what I feel so
comforted in my faith is knowing that, and I get
I get so moved when I think about that fact that,
you know, if we have loving parents, you know, I'm
(01:17:22):
so blessed. I have loving parents like my mom and
my dad a gope love like I have done the
worst things to both of them, and things I'm so deeply, deeply,
deeply ashamed, and they, no matter what, love me so
so much. And I know that's not the case for everyone.
I know. Not everyone has parents that they deserve that
show them unconditional love. Not everyone has parents that no
(01:17:45):
matter what, they're always going to forgive them and love them.
Now everyone has parents that they even look up to,
Like I know that it is pretty diabolical that I
have a foundation like that, because I know that is
not the norm. Despite that, however you were raised, however
(01:18:05):
your relationship is with your parents, there is still an essence.
There is still like a God, like there is still
my God that no matter what you do, will always
love you and will always be there just holding you,
and it's gonna hug you and be like it's okay.
You know that was kind of questionable what you did there. Yeah,
but listen, like nobody's perfect, and thank you for saying sorry,
(01:18:28):
and you are forgiven. All your sins are forgiven. Did
I share the time that I went to back to church,
that I went to confession. I went to confession. I
feel like I did tell you. I went to confession
for the first time in fifteen years, for the first
time that I ever went to confession for my first confirmation, Like,
(01:18:51):
I had not been back to confession since because I
feel like I was sinning and I feel like a
lot of the sins that I was doing like I
was gonna do again, and so I never really wanted
to go back. But since my relationship with Zaddi and
since my own faith has grown, I was like, why
didn't I go back? And I went back and I said,
like all the things. Girl, I was like, I did
(01:19:14):
this before marriage, I dabbled in this, I did this
to my parents. I've used these words. I've lied here,
I've stolen, Like I laid it all out and the
priest was like, is that it? Literally? The priest was like,
is that it? When I feel like I've had so
much guilt of these things for so so long because
(01:19:35):
I knew that, like it's not what I shouldn't have
been doing a lot of those things, right, And He's
just like that is that it? And I was like yeah,
and then he was just like so nice. And they
say this prayer, like this prayer of like you know,
by the power invested in me and God and like
you know, God is all forgiving God, and all of
your sins are forgiven, and go and here's repentance, and
you know, go be with the Lord like like praise
(01:19:56):
to you and thank you for coming and all your
sins are gone. And I just like, oh my gosh,
I felt like, oh, a freaking thousand pound like piece
of rock that was in the middle of my shoulders
on my neck like had gone lifted up, like I
felt a girl. I felt it. Hand to God, I
felt it, and I just broke down and I did
(01:20:18):
my penance and I felt so like hurt and seen.
And then you know, in those next few weeks, like
I did sin again, like I did sin again, and
I've been working a lot on some sins to not do,
and I started praying a lot and I went I
go to levet heinsita when I do the Eucharist, and
(01:20:39):
I'm just like, can you just help me be like
more like you, can you just help me, you know
in this situation, In these situations, I just I really
don't want to do that anymore. Can you help me?
And so this past week when I was like with
Zaddy and were hanging out and you know whatever, it
is like she just kept flashing to me, Like when
(01:21:02):
I was having these really harsh moments of oh my gosh,
I'm gonna sin again, she flashed me. She flashed me,
she flashed me, her cheek on us. No, I mean no,
she not flashed me. She would never do that. She's
too demure to ever flash me. But she like flashed
(01:21:24):
in front of me. And I was just like, oh,
you know, I'm trying to be like you, queen, Like
I'm trying to be like you. So I'm just not
gonna do this right now. And that's okay, and it's
all and I and man, it was like it was
like over a week of that battle, and girl, what
a success, Like what a success? And it is something
that I've really been praying and Daddy's been praying for
a lot and I just feel so much better that
(01:21:45):
we're able to get through that. And it's been a
while that we've been trying to get through those things,
and you know, there's a whole bunch of things that
we're always praying that we'll be better at not do,
and it just feels so comforting, like I said, to
know that we can be better and we have somebody
(01:22:05):
whoever that is for you, whoever you look up to,
whoever your God is, that is always going to say
I love you no matter what you've done, it's okay,
thank you. I appreciate you for taking accountability, and your
heart is so pure for saying sorry and saying that
you don't want to do it again. And I'm going
to be there for you when you feel weak and
(01:22:26):
like you want to do it again. I'm gonna be
there for you so that you can be better and
so that you feel better. It's not it's not about me.
I'm a love you no matter what. It's not about me,
it's about you. And it meant to that A flippin'
men to that. So whatever it is that you're going through,
whatever since you have, like have you ever been to confession?
Do you even't know what confession is because it's it's
(01:22:47):
a Catholic thing, and it's really beautiful. It's such a
beautiful sacrament and may it makes me feel so happy.
And I know that some people it rubs people the
wrong way, like why don't got to tell a priest
like what I'm doing? Like why can't I just do
it myself? Like you totally can't, you completely can. I
did my own research on that, and I found out
that a reason that that tradition started with the Catholic
(01:23:08):
Church is because some some towns and cities were getting
so out of hand that they had this idea to
do confessions with priests so that priests would know what
is going on in the community and in the congregation,
so that they can tailor their teachings to you, not
(01:23:29):
just to you specifically, but they can tailor their teachings
to the next service. For example, if a whole bunch
of people are coming up to the priests and they're like, dang,
I stole, I stole from this person, you know, and
then another person came in it's like, h I stole
from the store, like please forgive me, and another person's like,
dang I stole. Then next Sunday, the priest can be like,
(01:23:49):
you know, let's read you know this from chapter Luke
one four whatever, you know, is it the stool, and
then it's given the parables or whatever, and then the
people that are in the pews being like, oh dang,
like I feel like this is talking to me. I
feel like this was for me because I've been doing
that and it's true I shouldn't be doing that, you know.
(01:24:10):
So that's what I learned is why priests do confession.
And it's also like for us, you know, to for
you to feel better and for you to know that
just you, you will be forgiven or anything you did anything,
any all the all the creepy, crusty twisted things that
we have done, anything like shot somebody down the street,
(01:24:34):
if you truly are sorry, like if you truly feel
remorse for that, say you're sorry, and you will be
forgiven and digit don't try not do that again. Please write.
So that's the thing is that I felt like I
don't want to go to confession for a long time
because I felt like I was gonna do the same
things again. Why am I going to go confess something
(01:24:55):
that I know I'm gonna do again, because I feel
like I'm not ready to not do that right now.
But you know, now I'm in a time and a
place where I can and I am and I feel better.
So if that's part of your faith and you haven't
gone on a long time and you're like, yeah, maybe
this motivates you to go, or maybe this motivates you
to learn, or maybe this motivates you just to just
to reflect on things that you could be better and
(01:25:16):
do better at. Because I still have things that I'm
working on. I like, and I say that all the time, like,
I still have things where I'm just like, sheese girl,
you really are you really doing this? You're thirty one
and you're still doing that? Yeah, I am. So I'm
still a work in progress and we are I hope
to one day fully developed. So I'm praying for that
for us too. I hope that prayer helped you. I
hope you liked it. Thank you for again for hanging
(01:25:37):
out another episode of Crystal's night Cap. We're gonna be
back next week. Until then, I love, love, love you,
and I will see you on the next one. Look
