Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Ja, beautiful shoulder shooter. It's Crystal Size back with
another episode of Crystal's Nightcap. We are at diving headfirst
into it. My conversation with MGK Farah Abraham Renee Rap
we had Gashi in here, plus Larsa Pippin Heidi Montag
was iconic. I'm giving you all the behind the scenes
(00:20):
about those conversations. Plus a wedding planning with Zaddi is
getting so intense. We have an amazing Central Park weekend.
I go home to see my family. I'll tell you
about that and more. Sit bag, Relax. It's Crystal's Nightcap.
(00:43):
We survived for another episode. I hope you're doing good
food thing. I love you so so, so so much. Girl.
We get into it today. You know, summertime, i'd be outside.
Thank you for being patient. I'm gonna reiterate that in
a second. But it's all about the cave today. Like
all we really got to get to is the crazy, awesome,
(01:05):
busy few weeks that I've had. So you're gonna get
the behind the scenes of a lot of cool stuff
and some of the coolest people that you and I
both know and the world knows. That we get to celebrate.
So let's get into a girl. Let's step inside my
crevice is this is Crystal's cave? Hello, who's in here?
(01:25):
It's so dark? Ew? What's dripping? You have to step
on something something? You're now inside Crystal's case cave. I
left you on such a cliffhanger. And not only that
the last time, from the last time I talked to
I've had seven interviews, so there is a lot to
get to. I wanted to talk about my interview with MGK,
(01:46):
which happened literally the day that I posted the last
interview and I went back home with family. It's summertime.
I'm outside. That's why, you know, during the summer I'm
not as consistent because it's just it's a little difficult.
But I want to thank you for being a very
patient with me, and I want to give you all
the tea about when I linked up with and interviewed MGK,
because that was huge for me and producer Alyssa. We
(02:10):
prepped a lot for it. We were doing so much
research about him and his errand now and what's going
on with him. But with an artist like MGK, you know,
he's been in the eye for such a long time.
Long time. He's had up and downs in his career.
We've seen a lot of it, and I just wanted
to make it the best time that we could. So
from the jump, it was a little different because they
(02:34):
were late, and then they were they stopped by to
talk to my boss for a long time, and then
we were told we could only have fifteen minutes with him,
So it was kind of all over the place, a
little frustrating. But as soon as he walks into the studio,
he has a big old smile on his face. He
gives us all a big old hug. He is just
(02:54):
radiating life and love and good energy. So it seems
like he's in a really good place. Off the rip
and we start chit chatting and it's just good vibes.
We start with the interview, and I am a fan
of him. I mean, obviously I'm a fan of pop culture.
Maybe I didn't listen to every single song or album
(03:16):
and things like that, but MGK is a big name
in music and and just I mean the lore with
him and Megan Fox and all those things craziness. So
we started off chatting and it was really great, and
I did his intro for him, which I do for
every artist or person that comes in. I like to
(03:38):
do a grand intro, sharing their accolades and big highlights
of their careers. And I feel like they don't get
that a lot, so when I do do that, it
makes them comfortable, it makes them proud, It already sets
them off in a good mood. So hearing the cool
things that he's done made him super happy, and he
was just shook by it. And we continued and we
(03:59):
were going off. We were having such a good chat,
and then it's kind of creeping into twelve minutes, and
the label rep is giving us, giving me the wrap
up signal, but we're vibing so well that I give
her a nod, but I continue going and he just
is going and going and going, and I'm feeding into
his energy too. Within a few minutes, she gives me
another wrap up and I look at her and I say, okay.
(04:22):
But again, I just knew that the moment was so
good and the presence was a good vibe that I
thought that was important to just keep chatting, especially because
they were late. No, they're not on anyone's fault. It
could be so many factors on why an artist is late.
It's never one person's fault or a record label's fault,
(04:43):
or the artists themselves. There's all especially here in New York,
there's a lot of things. But you know, we're waiting
them for quite a while, and then we're waiting as
they were chatting with my boss, which would seemed for
like thirty minutes. So I was like, you know what,
if they're here chit chatting the hallway, then this is
what the content is going to go out to the fans.
This is the most important part of my job is
to ca the artists with their big fans. Like it's
(05:03):
a big deal for artists to come and do interviews
with us because it's one of the only ways our
fans can see behind the scenes of who what hell
they really are. So I want to do a d
diligence with that, and especially with all the prep and
things that we got into, I was like, oh, let's
just keep it riffing. So we kept going. I think
we're approaching like seventeen whenutes now maybe two minutes over
the allotted time, and she steps up and gives a
big hand let's wrap it up signal and MGK notices
(05:29):
and he goes, wait, wait, wait, whatit is that? And
then she goes oh, and and he's like, what is
what is that? What is that signal? And she goes, oh,
we're just we're running behind. We need to wrap it
up now. And he goes, no, we're not. He literally
just goes, no, we're not, and we keep going. I
feel very validated because again, I feel like it was
such a good conversation that we were having, and I
(05:50):
didn't go too much over I think in how how
long was the actual interview? See girl? Was only eighteen minutes?
It was eight I went over by three minutes. And
it was so fun, It was so good. It seemed
like he was really present. It seems like he has
done a lot of healing. It seems like he's in
a gracious place. He's still himself. But you know, with
(06:14):
the with a person like MGK, where you've seen the
highs and lows and you don't really know what to expect.
When you see them in a good vibe and that
they're in a really happy place, it's awesome that they're
sharing that with us. And not only that. MGK does
not do a lot of radio interviews. He keeps it
very tight to what he does, and I was warned
(06:36):
this that Z one hundred was gonna be the first
interview he's done in five years for radio, so I
wanted to make sure that I did it right. And
as soon as we wrapped up, he was so sweet.
We had his name here on the top. We always
do that with artists that come in. We put WE
love and then the artist's name, so we put we
love MGK. And he looked at you go, oh my gosh,
that's so special. And then he stops me and he says,
(06:57):
you know, I was really nervous to do radio, and
I really kind of didn't want to, but I thought,
because I'm in a new era right now, I wanted
to promote as best as I could. And I'm so
happy that I stopped with you guys. And he was
just so sweet and that made me feel so good
that we made him feel very comfortable. And afterwards we
took our polaroid photo. I have a yearbook here. Every
(07:18):
time a new artist comes in, we take a polaroid
together and we have them signed my Z one hundred
year book, and he wrote, I just want to say
dot dot dot, you made me feel like a somebody
in a world that strives to keep you a nobody today,
MGK love you so sweet, so nice, very very special,
And if you haven't checked out the interview, you should
(07:38):
definitely check it out. It's on our Z one hundred YouTube.
It has a lot of awesome, fun, positive comments, and
if you have one opinion of him or another, especially
what we've seen online throughout the years, I just would
suggest you just to just to check out the interview
and see where he is. A lot of people in
the comments are saying that they see him in such
a good place and a lot of growth, and I
feel like we've all done and been through that, so
(08:00):
it's happy to see him on the other side. Similarly
to how I shared in the last Time's episode about
Janelle Evans from teen Mom Too, speaking of to you Mom,
we had Sarah Abraham in the next day, which I
think I think I chatted about it that we tried
to get Farah on a few months back and it
just kind of fell through. It didn't really work out,
(08:20):
but she came back around and I'm a huge fan
of Farah Abraham, so I was really excited that she
wanted to come in and share everything that she has
going on. Again. Me and producer Alyssa prepped a lot
for this one too. Oh, we prep a lot for
every single interview, but we went in with the prep
for this one as well like we usually do. And
I didn't really know exactly what to expect either from
(08:41):
Farah because I've never personally met her. But I did
do a lot of research. I did look at a
lot of her interviews, so I kind of for the
most part, understood the vibe where setting up. We're in
here and she is just fun. This woman is hella funny.
We chatted with Farah for a while. I think we
(09:04):
talked for like forty five minutes or something like that.
She was willing to talk about everything. She is such
an open book. Sofia wasn't here her daughter, which I
was kind of sad she was back resting at the hotel,
but at least we got to hang out with Sarah
and I. When we worked with Abby from Love on
the Spectrum, Abby is has autism, so sometimes it could
(09:27):
be just different when you're interviewing people that are neurodivergent.
And Farah has ADHD and she takes medication for that,
and so that was different for me too because Farah
I could tell does have severe ADHD because when I was,
I mean, for the most part, she would stay on course.
(09:48):
But it feels like Sarah had a lot to say
and get off her chest, and she still has a
lot of hurt from those teen Mom days. And it's
not even hurt, it's just she is a very passionate
person and an advocate. So because of a lot of
rough things that she went through with the crew and
during the time of Team Mom, she wants to help
(10:09):
and keep advocating for people that are on TV and
even people that were on the show, because she went
through a lot, and she went through a lot that
we don't even know about. She went through a lot
of her growing up with her family, and we saw
a lot of it unfold on TV. And maybe that's
why sometimes we saw Farah the way that she was.
But now she it looks like the same thing. She's
(10:31):
done a lot of healing, she's been in therapy. Nobody's perfect,
it's just I could tell that she had a lot
of advocating still that she wanted to do, and she's
she just goes She'll just go and go and yeap
her and I will do just yap and yap and
yap and yap. So that was really fun to be around.
And she has done so many things, some things that
(10:52):
people don't agree with, but Sarah is going to be Farah.
She don't care she's And one thing about Farah is
I really respect how good of a mother she is.
Sofia is her number one priority. She's always looking out
for what Sofia wants and Sophia's best interests. She takes
her all over the world wherever she wants to go.
And whenever Farah and Sophia are in an interview together
Sophia and people bring up things about Farah to Sophia,
(11:15):
Sophia always says, I love my mom and I'm gonna
support her, and I don't mind what she does or
how she does things. And she always is defending her
mother because she knows that her mom loves her and
is a really good mom and wants to protect her
at all costs. So I think that's very admirable about Farah.
Everyone has their own opinions and that's totally fine. But
as someone that was in a room with her and
worked with her and saw that side of her, that
(11:38):
not a whole lot let up. People see because off
air too, Me and these people talk about things that
we don't talk about publicly. I mean, she was telling
me details about off air, about some really hard backstabbing,
always getting sued left and right, things that should have
been so awesome and so fun, but someone just wants
(11:59):
to tear that away from you. And I feel bad
sometimes for her, But I also think that she's handling
a lot of these things with as much grace as
she can and growing because we saw them all start
on TV at fifteen sixteen and now they're you know,
all right, you're a little older than us, and you
can grow and live and mature. So I see a
(12:22):
lot of that with Farah. And she wrote in the yearbook,
goat teen mom, thank you for your support over the years.
Hearts hearts, And she was just so funny. She was
down to do everything. She was down to do TikTok,
she was down to do the video. Everything she was
she was beyond down. So Farah pulled up and then
my my dance teachers. I did Mexican ballet back in
the Bay with a cattalos called ballet Cano, and those
(12:46):
were essential years growing up doing ballet with our squad.
It was funny because in high school I wasn't really
going out partying too often. I was literally at dance
and all the annoying that our dance classes were at
where every Friday from like six to nine or something
like that, So it was just Friday nights were always
at the dance studio, and we traveled all over dancing,
(13:07):
and our teachers and mentors there were so sweet and
fun and supportive, and they're still supporting me all these years.
So they came to New York to bring their beautiful daughters,
and so I got to link up with them and
have some coffee and chitchat about New York, chitchat about
how the dance company's doing now, and how the girls
are doing, and just some fun memories from dance. And
(13:28):
I brought them here to the studio and kind of
gave them a tour round. And whenever my friends and
family come from California to New York City on their trips,
I'm always so blessed when they ask if we can
link up or ask for recommendations, because I, you know,
I miss home so much, and a lot of these
people helped mold me to the person that I am
and so seeing them and how great they're doing and
(13:50):
the little girls are following their dreams. It was just
so beautiful. And Lisa, she's always been supporting, so so
so supporting me. Every time I would like post, she's
commenting and MESSI and Khalito's two and their daughters too,
and she would always tell me she was one of
the biggest ass She's like, you need to try out
for us now, you'd be still good on SNL. They
need you on there. And when I was kind of
thinking of doing that and taking acting classes, she was
(14:13):
always in the back of my head. And we've pivoted
a little from that, especially because we are ahead neck
deep in wedding planning, but she's always always and her
husband pushing for me. And when I'm walking them out
and saying bye to them here in the studio, Kalitos
told me, I always knew you were going to be
a big something, a big somebody, And even though I
don't really feel that one hundred percent yet, I just
(14:37):
just him saying that meant so much. And I remember
walking back to the studio after I left and like
crying because these are people that growing up, you know,
I wanted to make proud. I wanted to get my
arms right. I wanted to get the dances right, the
choreo right when I was doing ballet, and you know
now them even though I didn't fully pursue or anything
(14:59):
like that, but it's just knowing that they have always
done a continue to support me and those kind words
are are so sweet. So that was that was great
seeing our family that pulled up here, and then we
had Miss Renee Rap pull up. If you should know
Renee Rap, she's an actress. She was on Mean Girl's Broadway.
(15:20):
Then she started doing her own music and she's still
doing music. She has an album coming out and she's
also dibbled out boles and acting. That was a that
was a rougher interview. I've worked with her before. I
worked with her when she first started popping off, right
after her Broadway days. I think for her first singles,
she came by and she was really energetic and excited
(15:42):
and geeked to be here. And I feel like for
this run around, she just seemed tired and she just
like she's just she's she's always been like not super
super high energy, but I think that she was just
really tired, and that definitely came out in our conversation.
Sometimes it's really easy for me to just riff off
(16:02):
someone and go in, but then sometimes when I'm trying
to dive into a conversation, they give me just a
few answers or they'll just like respond to my question
and the way that I asked. So that was a
little more difficult. But in her defense, I think I
was the last interview of the day and she's just
been doing a lot. And I even asked her, you know,
how does it feel right now to be Renee? I
always ask our artists or our guests that come in,
(16:24):
how does it feel to be you right now? And
she said good, but also bad. She was just being honest,
saying that she's really tired and that she is getting
pulled everywhere, and even though she's proud of this project
because she feels like it's really her, you know, when
you're out performing, writing, recording, people press all the things,
(16:45):
it could get really tiring. And if if you're not,
she feels like she's unbalanced, Like she does kind of
feel that way that she's unbalanced, and it definitely came
out in our conversation. So I'm praying for her that
she could help. I even told her, I was like,
I'm praying for you that you can find that balance
and the energy and those hours to sleep when you can.
But yeah, that was a little rough one, but that
(17:06):
happened sometimes. I also hung out with this awesome, awesome
Broadway star. Her name is Lencia Kabetta, and she is
the first black woman to play Alphaba on Wicked Broadway,
which is so interesting because the fact that the Alphaba
on Broadway and Wicked was black on a movie screen
(17:30):
before it was black in the actual Broadway show is
such a weird, like ironic view. But I mean, and
I haven't told her when I introduced her, and she knows.
I mean, she's bigger than that. She's bigger than that.
She's girl. This woman is so impressive. She started off
studying politics in college and really went in on that
(17:50):
and worked with like in political offices and all that.
But she was still doing and she grew up doing
shows and musicals in school, elementary school, middle school, high school,
all the things in college she took some she was
still taking acting and voice lessons even though she was
focusing on politics. But then when she graduated college, she
was like, you know what, I kind of want to
(18:11):
get on the stage more So she started auditioning for
all of these Broadway shows, and she was in the
Hamilton yep, she was in Traveling Hamilton on Broadway. She
was in Rent, she was in Rent. And then she
got her break here in New York City as Alphaba
on Broadway. And I got to see her. I got
(18:31):
to see her a few weeks ago, which was just
I you know me, I love Wicked. I am a
Wicked girl through and through again. And it really only
started because of the movie. When I was so privileged
to host a premier here in New York City. The
pre screening of Wicked. I didn't I didn't I've seen
the Broadway show before, but it didn't really call me
(18:55):
as much as when I finally saw the movie, and
I just fully immersed myself and became completely obsessed with
Oz and the show, in the soundtrack and everything. So
I know every single word to the entire first album
of wakem and so I was so geeked to interview
and ask her all these questions to Lensia. So she
(19:15):
was so sweet. We went from the beginning to where
she is now. I learned so much. If you care
about Broadway a little bit, if you care about wakeed
a little bit, if you want to hear a really
inspiring story about trying to figure out what your passion
is at life and never giving up in a story
about a daughter of immigrants, and a lot of what
she went through kind of mirrored what I and am
(19:37):
and did go through. So hearing her perspective of how
she became one of the biggest stars right now on Broadway,
you know, it is such a great conversation. So go
check that out, Damian on our I uh zoo one
hundred and YouTube. It should be up today or tomorrow.
So that's another one. These are all these are all
good ones. So I talked to her, and I so
(19:57):
much thanks for her to come in. And then like
a few days ago, we had Larsa Pippin in YO
that this was insane. So Larsa Pippen, if you didn't know,
back in like the Michael Jordan Golden years of NBA, uh,
one of his biggest rivals was Scottie Pippen and Larsa
Pippen was his wife and she was famously known like
(20:20):
for that. And then she got a divorce from him
years A few years ago, she started dating other big
celebs like Future and Michael Jordan's son. Most recently, they
had a huge public breakup and now she's dating another
basketball like a former basketba player or whatever. But she's
(20:41):
like a real housewife. She's an entrepreneur. She used to
be one of the best friends to Kim Kardashian. They
had also a public fallout, but not not super crazy,
just some differences. And so I was asked if I
wanted to work with her and have a chat with
her on what she has going on. So I did.
She's someone else who came in and was so sweet
(21:02):
and nice girl. I have nothing bad to say about
my interaction with her at all. People again have their
own opinions about her and what maybe, but she came
in on time, she looked gorgeous, she was down to
talk about anything and everything. I learned a lot from her.
She don't care about what nobody says. She is not judgmental.
(21:23):
She's always just saying whatever makes you happy, do what
makes you happy, period. So it was cool chatting with
her as well as she was so sweet. She was
so sweet inside it out. She's very pr trained. When
I asked her certain things, she knew how to hit back.
She has a thicky lab brand. And we know that
there has been a lot of flack with celebrities and
(21:44):
the culture culture appropriation about Thi Ki Lass, So I
asked her about that, and you know her stance, and
she was very sweet with what she said about it,
and I really respected her response with that. So it
was cool chatting with Larsa Pippen and and then we
had this rapper come in that's local to New York.
His name is Goshi. He just dropped an album. He
(22:06):
dropped an album the day he pulled up, so it
was a really exciting day. He's very local. His album
is somewhat of a love story to New York. So
I'm thankful that I chatted with him. He is a character,
he is and he has an amazing story. Thamien. He
used to be a freaking trash collector here in New York.
He was out giving out mixtapes while he was also
(22:29):
making an honest living, and he ended up getting signed
by Rock Nation by Jay Z and he was in
the studio, one of one of the very few people
that got to be in the studios with Nipsey Hustle,
and he told me what that was like. He told
me what Nipsey told him years later when he because
(22:49):
when he was in the studio with Nipsey, he was
still like this was baby stages. Nobody even really knew him.
But Nipsey felt his vibe and liked it and got
in the studio with him. And then years later after
Goshi like pretty much made it because he was at
a jay Z like brunch, Nipsey was there as well,
and what Nipsey told him was was you should watch
that interview that is dope as well. And then freakin'
(23:14):
Heidi Montag pulls up because she was promoting a show
in Brooklyn. Now that is That was an amazing full
circle moment for me because when all the stuff in
the LA Fires was happening, I saw Spencer Pratt talk about,
you know, pushing Heidie's music on TMZ, and I started
(23:35):
bawling and crying when I saw him on TMZ just
begging for help for his family because he it just
it seemed like he was just really trying to step
up as a man and do everything he could to
get a home for his family. Again, that they all
burned down. So then I was one of the first
public interviews that they had when they were like blown
(23:56):
up from that and then we got it. We ended
up having a cool relationship from that and he told me,
I said, next time you're in New York, you got
to come and come to the studio so we can
me in person. Because that one was over Zoom, there
were still in LA and they did. They pulled up
here to New York. They they they honored their word,
(24:19):
and that was beautiful because we were celebrating so many
different things, most importantly Heidi's album, Heidi Wood, which is
so good, it's so fun it's so funny. I was
like gagged at some of the lines that I hear
and just talking to Heidi im and when we first
sat down, because they were so grateful because I was
one of the first people that was publicly trying to
(24:40):
push Heidie's music on radio, and I did it on
socials and I pushed. I tried to push as much
as I could. Hear on Ze one hundred and it
was wishy washy the love that were that they were
getting because of behind the scenes political reasons through radio,
which is kind of heartbreaking for them. However, I did
(25:01):
the best that I could and they were really gracious
for that at the time. And so when Heidi and
I sat down finally in person, I mean, girl, when
you see this interview that just dropped today on our
Ze one hundred YouTube, we're teary eyed, like we are,
like pretty much about a cry on the verge of
tears with them. The first minute of just looking at
each other and me doing the introduction for her and
(25:21):
just thinking about where we were on Zoom and to
where we are now. It's just kind of crazy to
see because her and Spencer's life completely when eighty changed
and now all of the dreams that she had are
actually coming true when it comes to her being a
pop star. So it was really emotional. But she went
(25:41):
in and we learned so much about her process of
the album and how she's doing now and her goals,
and Spencer pulled up and you see his arm. You
see Spencer in his arm all throughout the interview because
he's vlogging and getting all the angles of Heidi, and
we got to chitchat off the mic and have some
heart to hearts about back behind the scenes stuff that
(26:03):
was happening with egos and the music industry and people
that were gatekeeping and not trying to put them on
in that time because of their own egos, which was tough,
and it helped them understand like why certain things were
happening because they were getting excuses about why certain people
weren't pushing them where their music or giving them love.
(26:24):
And I knew the real reason because it had to
do with the love that I was showing them and
like jealousy about that, which was kind of interesting and
heartbreaking at the time, especially in La So that was
that was very interesting. But they were so gracious and
they were so thankful, and Spencer brought me merch. He
(26:46):
brought me a merchhirt, a Heidi Wood shirt, which was
just so sweet, and she signed the yearbook and said, Crystal,
I'm your number one fan. I love you best energy
ever Heidi Montag and even her writing and her signature
is just so glam and so pop divastar, and she
looks so good and all they care about still is
(27:06):
just trying to build a home for their family, you know.
I asked her about goals, like I said, everything's happening
so fast or getting asked to perform here, and because
she was in Brooklyn performing No No Here in New
York City Webster help performing that night, she was taking
the first fly out the next day to go perform
for San Francisco Pride, and then the next day she's
(27:26):
gonna perform for Seattle Pride. So she is just getting
so much love and getting offers to do everything right now,
like her pop star life is literally taking off and all.
She said that, and I asked her, you know, any
goals is so much just happening now, do you have
time to sit back and think of goals? And she said,
all I want is to like have a house for
our family. I want to just make enough so that
we can just rebuild our dream house again. So that's
(27:50):
all they care about. That's all they want. So I'm
telling you right now to go stream. And they're so
sweet and they're so nice, and I know that I
see what's going on. I've seen they were getting push
back about you know, politics, or about what's going on
in LA with like our Latino people and all those things.
And you know what my stance is, and just to
(28:12):
be honest, like not everyone is gonna be on the
same political field. I have my own family member, I
have very close family members that we do not agree
with politically, and from in my perspective and from where
I am, politics is made to split us apart. That
is the point of it, I think, to get us,
(28:36):
quote peons and the population to just kind of fight
over things, while politicians just try to in some ways
like dictate and move their own agendas based off money.
It's all based off money, which to me is in
(28:58):
a lot of ways the root of evil. And so
I don't and I even hate it, like I don't
want to go on another ramp, but like I don't
subscribe to the fact that even if like some people
aren't politically aligned, or if some people are aren't speaking
about one thing or another, that they're like horrible and
terrible people. You can only do so much. And I've
shared before, I was really involved in the Black Lives
(29:18):
Matter movement that hit me hard, and I dove in
a lot, and I tried to use my voice and
platform as much as I could, and it was and
I'm very thankful and happy and proud that I did
that at that time. And it was very emotionally dreaming,
right because it's like a whole other job, and I
do not regret or take back any of that. And
(29:40):
in this time, you know, there's always going to be
political movements, there's always going to be things to advocate for.
And if if you try to fully dive into one
thing and one thing, like, you're not gonna have anything
left to give to yourself and what your actual goals are.
And so when I asked Heidi about that, she said,
you know, my party is my family, Like we don't
(30:01):
have a home still, so my priority is just that's
what I'm focusing on. And so I understand that you
can't save the whole world. And sometimes with especially with
certain things, someone's going to get mad about something. And
that's why, like for me, I just want to make
sure that I'm doing my duty and my job and
listening to what my heart is giving at the moment.
(30:23):
And I'm okay with talking to everyone about things that
I'm supposed to be talking to them about, staying on
the path of that. And I'm proud of Spencer when
a whole bunch of people were saying, oh, you're not
speaking out about what's going on in LA about you know,
the ice rays and things like that. You know. Spencer
(30:45):
was like, I don't want to speak out because I
wanted to find something to help. Like I didn't immediately
speak out because I want to say the wrong thing,
but I want to actually do action instead of just talking.
And I think that's the most beautiful thing to share.
And I respect that even I don't. They never talked
about politics, like I don't know. I personally don't know
what their politics are. People speculate, but again that's not
(31:05):
me to dictate. Because even people in my own family
don't agree with my politics, and that doesn't mean that
I'm going to x them out as my family. I'm
not going to x out coworkers that I don't align
with politically, Like that's just it's that's just how I feel.
I know some people don't have that mentality. I know,
and I completely understand, and I don't think that that's
(31:26):
wrong to not have the mentality Some people are, Like
if you are on this side politically, I don't even
want you in my sphere. You are just cut off.
And if that's that is okay to do that, if
you want to do that too, like that is totally fine,
Like I just it's it's too close to home for
me because I'm not going to cut out people in
my immediate family. I just can't. It's like I can
see the bigger picture of that politics wants us to
(31:49):
do that. And also when it comes to politics, there
are sides from over here that I don't agree with,
but on side that I do things that I do
agree with. And on this side there are things that
I don't fully agree with, but there are stuff that
I do agree with. So even I am I'm not
like in the middle or I'm not split, but like,
even I know that on both sides there are things
(32:10):
that I do and don't agree with. So even for like,
I can't cut someone off because I understand some of
those things. You know what I'm saying, So who I know.
It's a very tough, politically charged time and error right now.
And what I will always say and stand by is
that more than ever, we need to have empathy, and
we need to educate, and we need to guard our
(32:30):
hearts from all these hard, hard things that we see
and stick to what is right. And if you're looking
at it from a loving and empathetic lens, I think
that will always lead you to what is right. On
one side, or another side, or if you're wiggly in
the middle. That was my mini rants on that. But
(32:51):
at the end of the day, they were so nice
to me. They were so sweet, they were so gracious
and thankful. They were willing to spend as much time
with me as they needed, and they came and delivered
and go stream Heidiwood, period, Go stream, Heidiwood. Now through
these chaotic past few weeks, I got to go home.
We are deep in a girl. We are deep in
it in wedding planning. So let's see if maybe Zaddy
(33:13):
is gonna want to join the show this week to
chat about our wedding planning experiences. It's been up and down.
It has been up and down, but mostly up. Uh.
We have been learning a lot about each other at
the end of the day. The core issues that me
and Zaddy have is that we are both chronically lazy,
(33:36):
and we both just like crash out about things. Like
We'll start like we'll start we'll be like we need
to like make our invitations, and then we need to
make our invitations, and then a month goes by and
it's like, we need to make our invitations, and then
we're making the invitations and we're crashing out because the
sizing gets like annoying when you're editing it online, and
(34:01):
the spacing is like making weird defaults. And it's not
that we're arguing, it's just more like the in between
of like trying to figure that out. And I don't
know how to work his laptop because it has opposite
mouth settings and mind does, so I'm like a little slower.
So then he snatches it away and tries doing it,
but he actually doesn't really want to even like do
that because he's angry and dehydrated because he hasn't drinking
(34:24):
a lot of water today. So there's just like there
are so many funny moments that we have. And then
I'm playing our wedding playlist and it's making him crash
out even more. He's asking me to lower it, but
then the Beyonce song comes on and then I hire
it and forgot that he told me to lower. It's
just so funny, like it's just like the little things,
and I end up kind of just kind of giggling
(34:44):
and like trolling about it, which definitely helps break the
ice when I just kind of give him a little funny,
like annoying look and he knows exactly it. It calms
down the situation. So I that was what we were
dealing with this in the morning with the invites. But
when we sent it to my mom, because obviously that
she has the vision, she has a plan. My mom
is she's pretty much our wedding planner with some things,
(35:08):
but she's always gonna get the final, say, stamp of
approval because something I knows what's up. If something I
likes it, it's right. So we sent it to her
and she liked it. So we're like cool, and we're
wondering how we're gonna manage the invites and I'm like,
I'll just have them all text me and he's like,
absolutely not. Uh, we'll do it online. I said, well,
we're gonna have to pay for that, and then he
was trying to use a website to do it online,
(35:31):
and that was making him crash out because there was
just asking so many stupid things. Girl. But when I
went back home, we got everything settled, and we are
just so grateful and thankful because everything that we're wanting
is happening. Other than a makeup person, I did find
a makeup person, but she was so expensive even though
(35:51):
she does a really good job. I should have just
shut up and done it. But I just if you
have any makeup people, keep suggested them to me, because
she was trying to charge me bombastically. Just she does
deserve it, Honestly, she does deserve it. I don't think
she was charging bombastically. I just think it was definitely
(36:12):
not out of my pre just not what I really
wanted to pay. Obviously, It's just not what I wanted
to pay, Like I would be paying ten times my
makeup then my wedding dress, which I was just thinking, mmmm,
is that necessary. She does a good job, though, But
I did kindly say I'm going to keep looking, and
I did find a hair person that was amazing, So
(36:34):
that's already stuff. All I really need now is a
makeup person. So if you gave me some just suggestions
on Snapchat, like Crystal real sas, that would definitely help.
But girl, everything is falling into place. We had our
second food tasting and it was delicious booked, and he's
doing everything from morning charcuterie, no, from morning breakfast while
we're getting ready to like the cocktail charcuterie, to the
(36:58):
dinner to the afters. Girl, he's doing everything, and the
food is so good. The food is so good. Number one.
The decorator h hit out the park exactly how we wanted.
Just to the tea. There were some things that that
Zaddi I was really surprised. There are some things that
Zaddi was like, can we change this? Do you have
different ones of this? Of this? And Zaddy's little taste wah,
(37:20):
his little little trinkles of taste hit exactly what we
needed and wanted. Beautiful and okay decorators, food check DJ,
DJ Patricks, DJ Patricks and the mix Heck yeah, Patrick's
is doing our djaying and he is my DJ that
(37:40):
was on my night show out wald Nay for nine
and he's won such a good DJ. I'm so sad
because magic Man was busy that weekend, but thank goodness
that Patrick's pulled up and he's giving us an amazing
family discount and I'm so so gracious. And his Wifey,
the social media manager that used to be at wild
Nay for nine and my she's she's just the bomb.
She's gonna be my content creator for the day and
(38:01):
I've been sending her ideas and all these things, so
we're on the same page. About that. We booked our
videographer who is iconic. I'll tell you what his page
is so that we can shout him out. Daniel Antonio,
Danny d A n N Y Ray Films, r E
y fi Lms. He's doing our video. And I, girl,
(38:23):
I was searching, Girl, I was searching. I was searching,
I was scrolling. I was searching for video wedding videographers
because I feel like they're all the same. I feel
like they're all basic. And then I feel like that
they're all boring, and I feel like I could even
do a better job recording my own vlogging my own
wedding and editing it and posting it. But I'm gonna
getting married, so I cannot do that. And then I
(38:43):
scrolled and I saw his I was like, girl, this
is a movie, this is cinematic this And everyone that
I've showed him to, They're like, whoa, this is the
next level. So I'm so blessed that he had that
day open to help us out. Danny Ray Films on
IG go throw him love Goes, tell him that I
(39:04):
sent you. Go, ask him if he's available for your
day or anything he's doing. He's done a lot of
Indian weddings. He's done a few of other weddings, but
I think this is gonna be the first, like a
Mexican American wedding that he's done, So I'm so excited.
I'm so excited. He also does engagement shoots, he does
baby shower stuff. Girl, hit him up, Hit him up,
hit him U. H him up, hit him up, and
(39:26):
he's so gracious. I've been asking our vendors if they
want us to shout them out for a little discount,
and Danny is one of them that agreed, So thank you, Danny.
We would have still booked him even if he didn't.
But Danny's the truth and the one in the way.
So Danny Ray Films. Go check him out because, like
I said, his stuff is crazy and unique and you're
gonna feel like a frickin' movie star on your day.
(39:47):
So that is a blessing. I've also been shopping around
and looking at live painters because I'm just so extra
and I want to do that, but girl, They're like
they're so expensive, these live painters. So I think we're
just gonna get a still from our wedding and asked
somebody to paint it for us. One of my neighbors
is a painter. Love him. Shout out to Alan, we
might have Alan do it, but yeah, I don't know
about a live painter yet. But something else that we
(40:08):
did was our wedding fragrances. I don't know if you've
done this or heard about this, but I don't know
if this is officially a thing. But I saw like
an idea on TikTok that said, you didn't need to
pick out fragrance for your wedding, so that every time
you use it after that day, it reminds you of
your wedding. And I thought that was such a good idea.
So yesterday me and Zaddy went to Bergdorf Goodman. It's
(40:33):
a fancy it's a fancy Macy's here in New York City.
I didn't know about this store until I moved here,
so whatever, but we went over there and we were
just spring everywhere, and we got hooked up by this
man named Alfredo and girl Freddy knew everything. Freddy knew
every single thing about that fragrance floor. And he was
(40:55):
pulling us here, he was pulling us there. He had
us all of these different fragrances. Boutiques and brands, and
we found our wedding fragrances. So when maybe if we
pull Zaddie in for an episode, we'll chat about that.
But that was so much fun. And the fragrances that
we picked, m oh my gosh, ten out of ten
(41:17):
and I got we got one for my mommy because
she's been helping us so much. So we said we're
surprising her and got her her own fragrance. When I
smelled it, I was like, this molls like something on
and this molls like my mama. Baby. He's like, oh
my gosh, does smell like your MoMA. Like, we're gonna
get this one for her, and so we're gonna surprise
her with that. And I have my maid of honor
pulling up pretty soon. Hopefully. I'm crossed my fingers, but
I made her a little made of honor a basket.
(41:38):
I'm not doing a bartle party because I have so
many good friends and besties that I would love to
be part of my wedding. But I don't want to
like leave some owl and I have like a a
lot of family and I just I don't want anybody
to feel left out or less than so I'm not
doing a bridle party. I'm just doing my bride, my
maid of honor, and Zaddie's doing his best man and
we're keeping it to that. And so I've got a
(41:59):
little basket but together, and I'm so excited and I'm
hoping that she pulls up within the next month because
I am just head over heels about asking her to
be my maid of honor and I'm just so blessed.
So that is happening. But we're really doing it. We're
getting married. We're getting married. And me and Zaddy had
this talk of a day how he was like, we
I have you thought about it that I'm literally pulling
(42:20):
you away from your family, like you are not going
to be like you're gonna have your own immediate family. Now.
I'm like, yeah, I absolutely thought about that. I'm still
crashing out about it, and not a bad way, but
in it's a different way. And he was like, you're
changing your name because I love my name. I love
my name Crystal Little SaaS. It's just it's me and
(42:41):
that's what I've always been. And I love my last
name and I love Zaddi's last name. Because I'm not
going to have to change my signature too crazy because
my new last name, the first letter is really similar
to R, so I'm not mad about that, but I
just feel like I'm die. I feel like the good
(43:04):
news is I'm still keeping my name for like my career.
I'm not changing my name as a career, so I'm
still gonna be Crystal real Sas on air and whenever
I do work stuff. I'm not changing my Instagram bio
or anything like that, but or my name. But I
do feel like me as a woman is dying. And
(43:25):
I was again, I was on the fence about changing
my name, but Zaddy wants me to change my name.
He and that's my husband, so I will do what
he asks. And I'm honored. I'm freaking honored. Honestly, it's
an honor to get that man's name. So it's just
kind of like, I really do like my last name
(43:45):
and I'm changing it, and I also don't want to
deal with all that goes into it, so I asked him.
I said, Babe, I'm kind of crashing out about my
name changing the process of it. Can you figure that
out me? And he said absolutely, I will one hundred
percent do all that for you. I said, thank you, babe.
So if he can do that, I'm the one that's
gonna change my name for the rest of my life.
He can at least do the paperwork for it, right,
That's how I felt. So he we talked about that,
(44:07):
He's like, and I was like, Babe, it's freaking weird.
It's it's it's weird. It's weird. And we've gone back
and forth about are we getting married too soon? Should
we wait a little bit? But he he's he wants
he wants to lock it in girl. He wants to
pop block and drop it. And I've gone back and
forth too, like should I wait? You know what are
(44:29):
we waiting for? Should just wait till I moved back home?
Should I move until we live together? And I'm kind
of like, for why do? Like for who? What? Where? When? Why? So?
And then the idea of the wedding has changed back
and forth. We kept saying that we're going to have
a small wedding and then we're gonna have a big,
a big wait wedding later on, and now we're just
gonna do a big bajang all at once, and we're not.
(44:50):
So that's what's been happening a lot has been changing,
a lot has been evolving. It's been really fast. You're
probably like, wait, what I thought yesterday? You were gonna
to have a small wedding. No, we're not. I mean
it is going to be small, Like we're definitely not
going to be able to invite the entire world. But
we are gonna have an amazing day. And that's what's
the most important. Seeing my family was so much fun.
(45:12):
We got to go to the county fair. We like
I said, we did the decorating for the wedding. What
else did we do? We just hung off my nieces
and nephews. We played Katon a little bit at the
house with my brothers and my primal and it's always
fun when I go back home. So then this past
weekend we were here in New York City. We slept
(45:32):
in a lot, We ventured around Central Park. There's a
new pool that opened in Central Park and the line
is like five hours long, so we didn't go in
the pool, but we just walked to and around it.
We got to hang out with some of my homies,
Howard and his WIFEI We me and Zaddy separately coincidentally
met them on our own and then they found out
(45:53):
that we were dating. And then this was the first
time Mean and Zaddy actually hung out with them. So
we went out an amazing dinner and then we just
caught up and a few drinks. Yesterday it me and
Zaddy went to the Central Park Zoo for the It
was a very Central Park weekend for us. I suppose
we went to the Central Park Zoo for the first time.
I met some of Zaddy's cousins that I've never met
before and nieces, and they were so fun and they
were so loving, and they were so nice, and they
(46:16):
were celebrating one of their daughter's birthday, and the itinerary
was insane, like a dream itinerary even for me. Fao Schwartz,
Stardust Diner, the statue of Liberty Nails making slime. It
was just like the cutest and tea time, the cutest
little girl birthday New York City celebration ever. And they
(46:39):
were so fun and inclusive and loving to us, so
I was really thankful we got to hang out at
the Central Park Zoo with them for a little bit
and the zoo was cool. We got to see the
grizzly bear and a leopard, a snow leopard and penguins.
You know me like I do, like zoos, I do
like botanical gardens. I like those kinds of things, like
getting in touch with my side of nature when I can.
(47:01):
We did that, and then as I mentioned, we went
to find our wedding scents, which were amazing, and we
ordered those to that. We definitely got upsold. He kind
of finished. We got finaced a little bit. He sold
ended up selling me the bigger one, which I didn't
really realize, which was over two times the price of
it was. It was crazy. It was crazy, so just
be careful. We did get upsold a little bit. But
(47:23):
we love the fragrance, and you know it's our wedding fragrance.
So you gotta go out. You gotta go all out
for the wedding things. And then we went home. We
saw the movie. At home, we saw the movie Changeling.
Have you seen Changeling? Angelia and Julie. It was old.
I think it was like two thousand and six seventy
or something. That was crazy. We saw that last night
and I cleaned the house a little bit. We woke
(47:44):
up today with the wedding invites. I told you about that,
and later on We're gonna go hang out with Jada. Jada,
she's a very world famous chef and low Whacker, the
cracker and chocolate brand. They're having their one hundredth anniversary
here in front of the Italy in Flat Iron. They're
(48:05):
having a pop up, so we're celebrating with Jada's signature
Loaker Quaddra Teiny Gelato Sunday and I had to say
that for a radio commercial and a social media post,
and I almost crashed out. But your girl's gonna do
what a girl's gonna do. So I finished that. We're
gonna go hang out later today and do that. Daddy's
(48:26):
pulling up for that. We're gonna hang out my friend Michelle,
and it's Fourth of July weekend, so my our homies
are coming pulling up. Our homies that went with us
to Grease last year are finally pulling up here to
New York City with me and Zaddy, So we're gonna
have fun. We love them. They're so fun and we
have zero plans. We have zero plans other than Sunday.
(48:48):
Me and Zadi are going whitewater rafting, so we'll see
if he crashes out for that. I'm so excited and yeah,
just a good old time. It's been like eighty ninety
degrees every single day, humidity has been an all time high.
The boobs has been crazy. But we are blessed and
I'm so happy to have another New York City summer
with my booth thang and with our friends. So that
(49:08):
is what's been going on. It's a blackout week, I
told Alyssa, because we've just been double and tripling up
on interviews every single day for the past like two weeks.
I said, Fourth of July week is a blackout week.
We are going to deny and not do any interviews
or push them until a different time because it's just
been too much. So we are gonna have a very
chow week. Thank goodness, Zaddie is here somewhere in one
(49:33):
of these offices working doing some of the little work meetings.
Producer Lissa's next door producing and working. That girl works
to the bone to so blessed and thankful for her.
Did I tell you she agreed to be our day
of coordinator? Round of applause. Me and Santha we're figuring
out who could be our day of coordinator, and she
was like, oh, Lissa, ask Alyssa and it would be perfect.
(49:55):
So we're flying Alissa and her booth thang out for
our wedding and the wedding weekend, we're gonna treat them
to a Bay Area wedding weekend so that she can
she will get it aligned. And she was so excited
and so was her man. They were they were both
on speaker when I asked her when she was at
home late one night, and he goes, yes, we're going, Yes,
before she even agreed, and she was like, I guess
(50:16):
we're going. So I'm so blessed. She is just an
angel son from heaven and every which way possible. I mean,
thinking of my life just a few months ago to
where it is now here at work, like it is
a one thy three sixteen I talk about all the time.
But I'm just so blessed and so happy, and she
is just such a light in our lives, and I'm
(50:36):
so thankful that she's going to be able to be there.
But I'm thankful that she's gonna'll be holding it down
and being coordinating with everything about that day so my
mom doesn't have to do her, so we don't have
to hire somebody that we don't really know to do it.
So that's exciting. So much good stuff happening. I hope
you've been having a good summer. Girl. It's already July tomorrow.
It's July. Tomorrow's julyisis? Have you been outside? Have you
(50:59):
been wearing booty shorts? Have you been getting a tan?
I hope so? And if you haven't, please make some
time because life is sure and yolo, go outside, go
to a zoo, spend time with your friends, you know,
go run out when the bullet that truck pulls up.
Because you only got one life to live and we
got it. We gotta live it like you deserve it.
And that's what today Oh my gosh, it's so funny.
(51:20):
That's what today's daily motivator is. It's called live it well.
We're gonna wrap up. Okay, we have this and then
we have our closing up prayer, so we're gonna get
to it. Live it well. The day is yours. Treat
it with the respect it deserves as the valuable opportunity
it is. Begin with gratitude for the good fortune of
being able to live and to take action on this day.
(51:41):
Then put that good fortune to good use. As each
moment arrives, Let it find you adding value to your world.
As each hour departs, carry forward from it something meaningful
that will endure. Refuse to waste, even if fractions of
the day on spite, anger, resentment, or anything else that
will bring you down. Embrace the opportunity to create meaningful
(52:02):
richness from whatever circumstances you encounter. Seek out beauty, good people,
great ideas, transformative energy, and situations where you can make
a positive difference. Dive deeply and eagerly into the possibilities
that permeate this day. The day is yours and your
business is to live it well. You have so many
(52:23):
great things to do and not a moment to waste.
Oh girl, that's literally what I just said, when like
a eloquent, beautiful, more assertive and like backgrounding way, refuse
to waste even a fraction of the day on spy, anger, resemment,
or anything else that can bring you down. I love that,
(52:45):
and I feel like that reminds me of earlier today
when means Zddie were working on our invitations and we
were having our little attitudes back and forth. But I
would just give him that like silly look that even
if he was like triggered about something because it that
little silly look that I give him. He knows that
we can just default back to our goof and whatever
(53:06):
riff we're having in that moment is just we can
just roll our eyes on. It's not that serious and
it's really something else that we're annoyed about, which is
just doing work, which is just like not couch rotting.
So that is something that reminds me of that. And
we were walking around Central Park and it was so
hot and we were just like I took a bathroom
(53:28):
break and I was like, I'm freaking sweating and like
salamander sticky right now, Like I don't want to be here,
like I want to be an AC. And I walk
out and Zaddy goes, I need some AC, and I go,
babe me too, Like can we get into cab? Can
we get a cab and go get a lunch please?
And he's like, yeah, let's go, Like we don't have
to be We did our due diligence as just walking
around Central Park on a nice summer morning, but it's
too hot. Let's get some acy, okay, Like, and I've
(53:51):
been saying this more and more to Zaddy. We have
free will. We have free will. One moment of our
night out with our friends Saturday night is we had
dinner and we were with our friends, but also they
were kind of there more to hang out with their
cousin and their friends. So when we were planning out
what to do after dinner, me and Zaddy wanted to
(54:13):
go to one of our favorites speak Easies that we
always go doing in the city, Medame George. It's low key,
it's low lighting, it's quiet and just chitter chatter, great
craft drinks. But I think the cousin and like that group,
we're on a completely different vibe. They wanted to go
like out, like uns out, And so when we're conspiring
outside of okay, what's the move, what's the move? Me
(54:34):
and Zaddy and our friends, our couple friends were like, oh,
we're going to meet at this We're gonna go to
Madame George. But then the other friends were like, oh,
we want to go to this this bar, Pisces Pieces,
And we're like okay, and then we're like, why don't
we just get one drink there? Why don't we go
one drink there and then we'll go to the other place.
We said okay. So we pull up and it is
(54:56):
a uns it is as it's pride weekend girl, it's
a as a gay pride and Zaddy cannot stand the
like he does not want to be in a sticky, crowded,
hot ass arm to arm, pushed up to strangers, loud
loud loud are into Grande Lady Gaga rain on me
(55:17):
like Zaddi does. He does not like that. He doesn't
not want to do that, and honestly, like in this humidity,
I don't want to do that either, And so we're
all getting off, well, me and the couple is getting off,
and I knew that Zaddy was going to crash out,
and I knew that we did not have to do this,
like I knew that, like they can go and have
a good time. So I say, hey, we'll meet you.
(55:38):
We're gonna go take a walk, like we'll meet you
a little later, and they go, oh, no, like what's wrong, Like, oh,
I'm sorry, Like I know you guys, this isn't really
I was like, you know what, like like Zaddy, he
doesn't want to be in the dun of crowded like
that right now, but honestly, like I don't either, like
I think we just kind of want to take a
breather and just like walk around a little bit and
just like do something loking. And they're like, okay, cool,
like we'll meet you. We'll meet you like in half
(55:58):
an hour. And we said cool, and we knew they
weren't going to meet us in half an hour, but
that was okay. And Zaddy says, Babe, thank you so
much for doing that, like, thank you for not throwing
me completely under the bus, thank you for navigating that
so correctly, because we've had to work on that in
our relationship sometimes, like to make it easier for me,
like I would just throw under the bus and be like,
Zaddi doesn't want to go to that right now, so
we can't, you know, And I've I've had to work
(56:20):
on that on my end. And I'm like, babe, like
of course. And so we start walking around. We go
to Washington Square Park, which was completely trash and gross,
but we're just started walking around and I find like
a low key lounge that me and Zaddi likes so
we can just have like a drink while we're waiting
for them to be done with the uns. And I
told him, I'm like, Babe, we didn't have to do that,
(56:41):
Like it's free will, Like we don't have to go
around and agree to like what a group wants to
do if we don't want to. And he's like, thank
you so much for navigating that situation for us, So
like graciously and peaceful, I said, yeah, and it's it's
it's been time, like like you've told me that it
bothers you when I throw it into the bus. You
told me that it hurts your feelings, it makes you
(57:02):
feel uncomfortable when I do that, And I've tried to
fix it and grow and be better, and I'm glad
that we're we can maneuver these situations rationally together. And
that's what I mean, Like if you don't want to
do something in a group and you want to do
something else, like it's okay, And if people in that
group are going to be mad and annoyed and angry
at you about it, then like those aren't Like of
course it could be compromised, but you should be understanding
(57:25):
about people and their needs and that's totally fine, right,
So we ended up having a good time and then
our homies did end up meeting us just them too.
Later and then their cousins ended up like uns all
night until like five am. And that's totally fine too,
and we were able to compromise and have a good time.
And that's what I want for you, you know, like
(57:45):
I want you to understand and realize that you have
the ability to live your life well, that you can
treat every situation with the respect that it deserves, value
the opportunities you have. If they aren't serving you for
that moment, you don't have to do it, focus on
things that are be respectful while you do it, and
it's all good. Everyone can be happy in a situation,
(58:09):
and we've been working in trying to learn that, and
I feel like with time we are coming more cohesive
with that. And you completely have your free will to
leave a hot, sweaty Central Park midday and get into
a cab into an ac restaurant. You don't have to
go to a sweaty, cramped bar with a cover charge
(58:29):
and crusty drinks with loud, loud music if you don't
want to. But if you do want to, and there's
some boomers that don't want to do that, go do it.
And you're still gonna have a good time and it's okay.
You can meet up with the boomers later. And we
were the boomers. We were the boomers. So yes, I
hope that helped you. I hope that you live your
best life this summer, like live it up. We don't know.
(58:50):
We are not guaranteed another summer. Girl, We are not.
And I know it's rough times right now. I know
we're all working the overtime. For the overtime, I know
the budget is tight for all of us. So go
to the corner store and get a plastic flask and
shove it in your pants and go to the bathroom
and take a swig instead of buying eighteen dollars over
(59:11):
priced drinks. If you want to get curly, or don't,
or don't or just be'd be someone that spends on
the drinks. But there's there's ways, you know, there's ways
to maneuver things like that. And if you want to
go to a concert, go find a gate to jump it.
If the prices of the tickets are too expensive, there
is a will, there is a way. Go call your
(59:31):
local radio station, mercyfullessly and win the tickets. Because that's
what I used to do when I wanted to go
to Disneyland, but I didn't have Disneyland money. I used
to call and call and call while then, and I
won Hella tickets on Disney for Disneyland. I want Disneyland tickets.
I won concert tickets. And now I'm working at a
radio station and it's like such a blessing. So go
do it. Go find a way live your best life.
(59:56):
We all deserve it, we all deserve it. So I
I hope that you enjoyed that my little motivational speech
for you. You deserve happiness. You have free will to
do whatever you do and don't want to do, and
you deserve to live a life that you deserve. Now
we're going to move on to our wrap up prayer.
Have you been hanging out with me for these prayers?
(01:00:16):
Some of you has been serving you a lot. Some
of you you're like, oh, you know, maybe not today,
and that's totally cool. Maybe you haven't done them and
are like, you know what, maybe today is the day,
or I'm just gonna pray with you, So let's do
that now. If I'll see you next time, I'll see
you next time. I love love love you, and I'll
see you on the next one. I've been falling off.
I need to do these prayers every single day. The
last time I did it was with you on my eighteenth,
so I need to get back into it today. It's
(01:00:38):
called I Am the Truth. The prayer says, I am
the Truth, the one who came to set you free.
As the Holy Spirit controls your mind and actions more fully,
you become free in me. You are increasingly released to
become the one I created you to be. This is
a work that I do in you. As you yield
to my spirit, I could do my best handiwork when
(01:01:00):
you sit in the stillness of my presence, focusing your
entire being on me. Let my thoughts burst freely upon
your consciousness, stimulating abundant life. I am the Way, and
the Truth and the Life. As you follow me, I
lead you along paths of newness, ways you never even imagined.
(01:01:24):
Don't worry about what is on the road up ahead.
I want you to find your security knowing me, the
one who died to set you free. John A thirty
two Philippians to thirteen John fourteen six? What hit you
(01:01:46):
from that one? I liked this line. As you follow me,
I lead you along paths of newness, ways you have
never imagined. I feel like Zaddy could be that for me.
Zaddy is like my little holy spirit nudging me along
to be better, and sometimes I just want to petty.
I don't want to be better. I have an example
of this when we were at Berg Dwarf Goodman doing
(01:02:10):
our wedding sense yesterday. We're in such a good mood,
we're happy. That is like a littlehungry, but he's hanging
in there for me and our fragrancer, our fragrance connoisseur,
Freddy Alfredo. He pushes up to a different fragrance department.
He says, why don't you go try those right now
(01:02:30):
and I'll see you in a little bit. I say, cool,
So we go over there. We're we're tired from sniffing
so much that we just need to sit down. So
I hope I get the benches and I sit down,
and the lady there is being snappy and very passive,
aggressive and very rude. Oh are you guys gonna smell something? Like?
People usually don't just come up and sit down. I
usually invite you to sit down. She's being like, very rude,
(01:02:51):
and it's kind of annoying me and Zaddie and getting
us out into it, and I say, we are, we
just needed a breather. I'm like, thank you, we are
gonna sniff in a second, like we've just been sniffing
for the past forty five minutes, like we just need
to sit down and breathe and oh OK. And she's
like she kept doubling down on it, and I was
very annoyed, and I was very hurt. And I even
told her, I said, actually, Alfredo sent us, and she goes, oh, well,
(01:03:11):
I'm happy about that for you, and just like very rude,
very very rude. And Alfredo came to save us. He
came and to save it, and I said, I tell him,
I'm I'm so happy you're here. And I say things like, dang,
how long I have you been doing this? Because you
and he was like twelve years. I was like, oh,
you're an expert now, no, no, And she hears that
(01:03:32):
I'm just like gloating him up, because I'm like, I'm
overly gloating him up now to kind of like honestly
trigger her a little bit. And she even said, dang,
if you're an expert, I must be an expert. Expert
from the time that I've been here, and I'm just like, okay,
even if you're an expert expert, like your customer service
is actually negatively experted, because we could have been going
off and bond stuff from you, but because you didn't
(01:03:52):
want to help us, like we're definitely giving all the
business to Alfredo. Now. I was very annoyed, and Zaddie
just kept looking at me like babe, babe, babe babe.
And then like we ended up wrapping up with Alfredo
in the original place that he had a sad and
blah blah blah, and I say, Alfredo, we haven't done
this before obviously, like you know, we can get impatient
(01:04:14):
when we're shopping and getting helped, but you have made
this experience for us just so amazing and so happy
and fun, and I just want to say thank you
so much, like it means a lot to us. And
then he was like, oh, thank you. And then I say, like,
let's say her name was Sabrina. It wasn't Sabrina, but
I'll just say that. I was like, I was like
Sabrina on the other hand, and then Zaddi looks at
me his baby, no please, and I'm just like, Okay,
(01:04:36):
you're right, you're right, You're right. I don't have to
be because because Alfredo just kind of giggled because he
knew that he knew that we had a tough time
with quote Sabrina and Zaddi there there he is, there
is he is my little guardian angel like making me better.
I didn't have to talk down about Sabrina. I could
just kind of like you know that one oh that
to the streets. Even though Sabrina really triggered me in
(01:04:57):
that moment and that era, her ore was awful and
her service was here, Zaddy is there to remind me
and nudge me that I don't have to be a
petty I can be better. I could be a better person.
I could what did our live it well today? Seek? Yes, yes,
refuse to waste even a fraction of the day on spite, anger, resentment,
(01:05:17):
or anything else that will bring you down. That's what
Zaddi wants me to do. That's what Zaddi is for me.
That's what God wants for us though. That's what that's
what that abundant, free holy spirit life is, and we
can get there if we keep walking with God and
walking with light, love, good energy. That's what God life
(01:05:38):
I am the way and the truth and the life.
As you follow me, I lead you along paths of newness,
ways you never imagined. Because if I didn't have even
like a little bit of the slenderedness that I have,
I would have been snapping back at her and I
would have been like, are you good, sis? Is there
a problem here? Like we're just sitting down after sniffing
for the past forty five minutes. I'm freaking tired. I
(01:06:00):
need a water break. Yeah. I could have snapped on her,
and I like I didn't, But I also didn't need
to get waste. Even a fraction of the day. I'm
not anger was in earth spite. So I'm thankful that
Zaddy helps me and it gives me that balance. I'm
thankful that God is that essentially, if that's through God.
God does that for us, and he's the one that
(01:06:21):
says they are the one that set us free. So
I hope you liked that example. I hope you liked
our prayer today. I hope you can walk with me
as we both try to let God's thoughts burst freely
upon our consciousness, stimulating abundant life, because that is what
we deserve. So that was a prayer of today. Loved it,
(01:06:43):
loved it, loved it, love it. You you you you you.
I'll be back hopefully soon for another episode of Crystals
Nights cap. I love, love, love you. Thank you so
much for all the love on everything. Whatever you need,
I'm at La Crystal Real Sas. I do need a
