This is Dan Caplis and welcome totoday's online podcast edition of The Dan Caplis
Show. Please be sure to giveus a five star rating if you'd be
so kind, and to subscribe, download and listen to the show every single
day on your favorite podcast platform. This just keeps getting better every day,
So the show kind of writes itself, right eight five five for zero five
(00:22):
eight two five to five the numbertext d an five seven seven three nine.
Now when we last met, Whenwe last met, we were in
the middle of that. They calledit this big boy press conference. And
as we talked about beforehand, thereason they were calling it that is because
it wouldn't be that, and itcertainly wasn't that. It was this tightly
controlled, tightly managed, tightly stagedevent that because of all of that,
(00:47):
it just didn't do enough, justdidn't do enough, nearly enough to save
Joe Biden. So but what itaccomplished, and thank goodness for that,
right, what it accomplished is itprobably keeps him in the race longer.
I heard one commentator describe it asa purgatory for the Dems. Right now,
I think that's pretty well put.But yeah, if he had had
(01:10):
another kind of slack jaw debate typenight yesterday. Then he's probably out by
this morning. But he did justenough to keep hanging in there, and
I am glad to see that. The longer he hangs in there, obviously,
the better chance for Trump and lotsof other Republicans to win. Eight
five to five for zero five eighttwo five five the number text d an
five seven seven three nine. Sowhat is so much fun to watch?
(01:33):
Right? Is? Okay? Oncethe left decided that it was throwing him
overboard, and we've talked about itnow for a year and a half,
they've wanted to for a long time, but now they had their opening with
the debate, and once they decidedthey were going after him, and they
includes the media arm of the DemocraticParty, nothing was going to change that.
I mean, Biden could have gotup there last night and it could
(01:53):
have been absolutely transformative. You know, he could have been as eloquent as
George Washington. You know, hecould have been as smart as Ryan Shuling.
He could have been just one hundredpercent last night, and it wouldn't
matter because the left had decided toget rid of him. And once that's
done, so it's such a confirmationof what You've always known and I've always
(02:15):
known about the vast majority of themedia at this point right has nothing to
do with journalism, has nothing todo with honesty or fairness or balance or
anything like that. And there arenoble exceptions, but the vast majority are
just part of the Democratic Party, part of the machine, and they're an
enforcement arm. And once once it'sdecided that person has to go or that
(02:38):
person has to go down, welldamn the torpedoes. That's what they're going
to do. And the truth doesn'tmatter, nothing matters. They're going to
use their power to destroy that person. And how rich and beautiful to see
that train now on Joe Biden, who has lived such a lie his entire
political life, and he's been soawful and it's so appropriate this is happening
(02:58):
to him right now. But here'sthe key. And I don't mean that
in a personal way. I meanthat in the best interest of this nation
way. Personally. I don't wishhim anything ill at all on any level,
But when it comes to this nationand the awful harm that Joe Biden
continues to do to this nation,no, I want him to fail in
that and to fail miserably and discourageanybody else from ever doing those awful things
(03:23):
to this nation. And so thekey is, we need him to hang
around as long as possible. Eightfive five four zero five eight two five
five the numbers. So how longis that going to be? I mean,
he's done, and I've been tellingyou for a year and a half
he's done, and you've seen thatcome true. But how much longer can
he hang in there? I lovethis CNN headline right now, Biden speaks
(03:45):
in Michigan after a high stakes newsconference fails to end them rebellions. So
they use the R word now right, So CNN ampen it up and ampen
it up. And so they knowthey know Obama nos, clooney nose.
Everybody else knows they've got to gethim out of there sooner or later.
So what do you think they doto make it happen sooner? Eight five
(04:06):
five or zero five eight two fivefive the number text d an five seven
seven three nine. I've got mythoughts, which I've been passing along now
for many moons, as to howthey're going to accomplish that. And we
see those particular mechanics coming true aswell. Dick Wadams will do a drop
with us at four point thirty sixtalk about a really fun issue, which
(04:28):
is who is Kamala's VP going tobe? Who is Kamala Harris's VP going
to be? If she is infact the nominee and all signs at this
point are they going to try torig it that way, to push it
that way? But who do youthink her VP would be? And you
may reject the premise which would beperfectly reasonable, and assume the demnominee is
(04:48):
going to be somebody else. Weall know if Michelle Obama wants it,
it's hers. And as strange, isn't it? Ryan? Very striking to
you and Kelly because you guys areon top of everything every second every day.
We have not had the obligatory declinationfrom miss Obama, missus Obama since
(05:10):
all of this started, right,I mean, wouldn't you have expected,
because there's so much Michelle Obama chatter, wouldn't you have expected at this point
that Michelle Obama would have repeatedly, since the Biden political death and the debate,
would have repeatedly come out and said, no, I'm not going to
accept the nomination. Take me outof those conversations. You got to look
(05:30):
elsewhere. Maybe I've missed it,but I've been paying attention to the news
a little bit. Have you seenany of that? Not since then?
Yeah, that's what I'm talking manymany months ago. She said, you
know it's not for her, Youget say, but right, right,
right, right. But that wasthen. This is now in the left
lies all the time. So tellme tell me since that night when it
became clear that Biden would be replaced, and be replaced sooner and later,
(05:54):
I haven't heard her come out andsay no, forget me, take me
out of the conversation. You know, be looking somewhere else. I have
strong suspicions that theory has legs sincewe've heard and basically had confirmed that Barack
Obama is maneuvering behind the scenes alongwith Nancy Pelosi to try to take Joe
out. So then it lends itselfto the question of why would Barack Obama
(06:15):
be spearheading that effort and why now? And one plausible explanation would be to
clear the deck for Michelle Obama toparachute in. Yes, the only qualifier
there is Michelle Obama could have itanyway. I mean without Obama clearing the
deck. I think if she justput out the word, you know she's
willing to be the nominee, thathappens on its own. But it's consistent
(06:36):
if that's what Obama was doing.I don't know that it is. It's
just so interesting, isn't it.It would be so easy for her to
have come out since the debate meltdownand just say, hey, I appreciate
the thought, but no, I'mnot going to be part of all of
that. And we have not heardthat. In fact, Ryan, if
you go back and listen to thetape of that very show right before the
(06:57):
debate that night, I talked onthis show about wow, is it a
coincidence? Look what's in the newstoday. The people close to Michelle Obama
on the day of the debate checkupleaking that she is not going to campaign
for Joe Biden on the very dayof the debate. I gotta ask you,
(07:18):
kidk all of what you're saying.I've been stewing on this because you're
a blue collar guy who grew upin Chicago, son of a cop.
You had a great mom, youknow, great life, as you talk
about at length, and it's atremendous story. But I got to ask
you, how do you feel aboutelites like a Michelle Obama saying, you
know what, I'm not the runin a primary, but now I'll come
(07:39):
down from on high, from myivory tower, and I'll be the candidate.
But I won't go to a voteof the people. I won't dirty
my hands in a primary. Whatdo you think of a person like that?
Well, she would still have togo through the delegates. Even so,
a person that the delegates, theelites, the super delegates are the
elites. By definition. A persondan who wants to bypass the will of
(07:59):
the people the process of a primary, thinks they're above at all. What
do you think of a person likethat? Well, accepting your premise,
it's just confirmational. Has anybody everthought Michelle Obama and Barack Obama were anything
other than consummate snobs and elitis. That's what I'm talking about. Just look
down on us, That's what I'mtalking about. You know, they're like
Jared Polis. Nobody's ever doubted that, nobody's ever done. How does that
(08:22):
relate to an autoworker in Metro Detroit. That is a great question. I
think it depends on the auto worker. How does that relate to a casino
worker working for tips in Las Vegas? Great question. Let me narrow the
question a little bit because I thinkit depends on the casino worker. And
the reason I say that is,you know, you're going to have your
autoworkers and casino workers who, maybeit's habit over the course of their lifetime,
(08:46):
maybe it's parental influence, maybe it'swhatever, but they hate Republicans and
the GOP so much they would neverever think of doing anything other than vote
Democrats. But you don't need themall. You just need a relatively small
number and that's the key. Youjust need to peel off a relatively small
number of normal, traditional Democratic votersfor Trump and the rest of the GOP
(09:07):
to win. And I think that'sthe moment we're in now, and in
part not just because of the Bidenconfirmation, because we've known this all along
about Biden Ryan, but because andDonald Trump deserves a lot of credit for
this. The GOP is finally thebig shift is finally underway, and it's
going to strike right at the heartof the democrats bizarre insistence on identity politics.
(09:31):
It's going to upend American politics ifit keeps going the way it is
now. And that is the shiftof working people to the GOP. And
Donald Trump was the biggest factor intriggering that working people should be GOP voters.
But the shift of working people tothe GOP yet, that is what
is changing the landscape. And thisis just going to accelerate it. So
(09:54):
when we come back, we'll bringyou some of the hot takes sound of
the day. It is so muchfun as so many on the left now
not only are they obviously trying torun out Biden, but they're starting to
freak because it isn't happening quickly enoughand they're really they're going to start have
some doulences. Is it going tohappen at all? I hope not.
You're on the Dan Caplas Show andnow back to the Dankaplas Show podcast.
(10:18):
I think that you are soft sellingthe more fundamental aspect of people viewing somebody
who I'll be perfectly honest with you, I don't know of a job interview
that you could have gone on anddelivered the performance that was delivered by Joe
Biden and gotten a job. AndI'm not talking about the presidency. I'm
(10:41):
talking about like cashier at home, deep, like finally, right, what
have I been saying on this showfor a year? Truly, ask yourself,
is there anybody listening to this show, Democrat, Republican, unaffiliated,
who would hire Joe Biden to doanything? In your orbit? Anything?
And when I say a Walmart greeteror this or that or the maintenance man,
(11:03):
I'm not in any way, shapeor form diminishing those important jobs.
I'm just making the point that theonly honest answer is no, there's nobody
listening to this show now, ornobody who you know who would hire Joe
Biden to do anything. I've beensaying that for a year, and it's
so obvious, and doesn't that answerthe question? He can't be president of
(11:24):
the United States? And Dad,I love this text. Dan. I've
had your tune in my head allmorning, but I like it. Keep
up the good work, Thank you, Texter. It's funny because true,
I don't know if this happened toE Ryan, but I got up,
Hey, I got up between inthe morning, go to the bathroom or
whatever, and it's in my head. It's in my head. Hang on
Joey. I mean is literally inmy head. Hang On, Joey,
(11:45):
Joey, hang On. Whole ideabeing it helps Trump write the longer he
hangs on. You can see it. Get the full song at Dan Kaplis
on Twitter parody song I wrote tohang On Sloopy and it's really good and
(12:07):
it has a lot of neat stanzasand everything else. But you can get
the full song there. But yeah, that tune is in my head now.
Great, great, great text here, and I'm so glad this question
was posed Dan. The main headlineon Fox's website read that Biden was now
slightly ahead of Trump this while prettymuch all polls have Trump ahead. Just
looking for your guys input, Grassias, Jorge, Thank you Jorge for that.
(12:31):
A couple of things going on here. First of all, we know
that in reality Biden is not aheadof Trump, and most critically in the
Swing States sees behind Trump and fallingfurther behind. So that the key with
this pole that's getting all this attention. And truly thank you Lord for this
poll because hopefully it helps convince Bidento stay in the race longer and make
(12:52):
things better for Trump. But thekey with this poll is it's ABC Washington
Post. Do you remember I rememberback in twenty just the last poll before
election day, they had Biden winningWisconsin by seventeen points. Wasn't it seventeen?
I think so? Is ten?Twelve, fifteen, seventeen whatever?
(13:13):
Double digits? They had Biden winningWisconsin by big double digits, which had
the effect of suppressing the vote inWisconsin, and Trump lost by a hair,
a very small, thin hair.So it's just another way way off
outlier ABC Washington Post poll, butone you should welcome because anything that keeps
(13:35):
Biden in this race is great forTrump, even if it's only for another
two or three days. But weknow it can't be long now, right
as we go to the phone lines, the end is very very close.
I mean this story I saw today, well, there's so many today and
we'll play that fun sound. Butdonors now freezing ninety million and in planned
contributions to the Biden campaign. Yeah. One of the ways we talked about
(13:58):
over the last few months that theywould run and Biden out. It doesn't
matter that he owns the delegates. When they cut off the money, they
cut off this, they cut offthat, and even though they're not doing
it publicly. Now he has toknow the corruption stories are about to be
greenlighted. Rossio and Denver, you'reon the Dan Capital Show. Welcome he
then goodness you speak to you?Are you're going to get your wish by
(14:20):
staying in because Gil and Hunter willnot let him step down and the oas
and Michelle hates politics, so wecan be almost pretty certain that she's not
going. Let's hope you're right.Let's hope you're right because Dan Bongo knew
(14:43):
the of Omas when he was aSecret Series agent and I trust his birthday.
She hates politician and she doesn't wantto get into it. She just
hates it. Yeah, let's let'shope you're right, Rasio. But my
fear is that she likes power. And think about this strange scenario, Razio
is. Now Michelle Obama's in aposition to have a really good chance to
(15:05):
become president of the United States withouthaving to run a campaign that would have
to be at least a little tempting, right, because I mean, what
do we have left three days tillelection day? I mean it is so
soon that early voting starts wouldn't haveto run a traditional campaign. She shows
up at the convention, she hasthis coronation where she's adored and glorified and
(15:26):
deified and everything else the left does, and then it's like a first class
plane flight to election day with areally good chance to win. I think
she'd be horrific president, terrible presentbecause of her extreme left policies, but
she would have a very good chanceto win. So this is a different
situation. This is not politics asusual for her. I hope Brasio is
(15:48):
right. I really hope she isnot the nominee. I mean, you
saw the one set of credible pollingwhere they pulled all these different dem possibilities
and everybody else was losing a Trumpby a point under two or three or
four or five, and she waseleven up on Trump. And so yeah,
let's hope she is not the nominee. Let's see the other thing about
(16:11):
that that polling, that ABC WashingtonPost polling that has Biden up a point.
It's just, I'm sure, justthe same kind of flood pole we've
seen from them before. But whatare the chances do you think there's any
chance that you have some Republicans punkingthem in that poll to try to keep
Biden in the race. It's notjust other people punking them, damn,
(16:33):
just to say, oh, yeah, we aren't the guy who can't think
or the guy who can't talk.Yeah, we want that guy breaking news.
Is not just the ABC, NPR, PBS merist. Biden fifty Trump
forty eight Biden plus two. Let'slet's hope that keeps Biden in the race.
Let's why what try to see thisDan from the Biders Team Biden perspective
(16:53):
and Jill Biden Hunter and they allsee that poll. Can we break for
Kathy Watsko? Sorry, because anytimeKathy comes in it's important. Kathy Walker,
the news maven of the world. We thought you'd want to know.
A mistrial declared in Alec Baldwin's casein Santa Fe. What's behind that the
judge agreed with the prosecute with thedefense, rather that the prosecution had withheld
(17:18):
evidence about a witness who had somethingto say about the ammo on set Ow,
Kathy, thank you for that, miss fascinating, Thank you. Charge
is dismissed. Wow, Kathy Walkerfrom the newsroom, thank you for coming
in on that, Kathy, fascinating. Yeah, we'll get more details as
well. From our newsroom during thebreak on that. But you had judges
when they see prosecutorial misconduct, Yeah, very often you see cases tossed.
(17:41):
It seems like a self owned therethough, why would you do that as
a prosecutions That's what I want tostudy up on because sometimes it happens accidentally,
right, because it's a human process, and even their judges will say,
hey, yeah, too much prejudiceto the defendant. Other times it's
done intentionally because whatever they're hiding woulddo so much harm to their case.
(18:03):
Now, I have great respect forprosecutors overall. You know, the hijacking
my constitutionally protected opinion of a lotof prosecutors jobs now by the far left
deeply disturbing trend. But we'll getmore details now in this Alec Baldwin thing
when we come back. More funis Biden hands on? You're listening to
(18:25):
the Dan Kaplis Show podcast. You'reproposing town halls with Democrats competing for the
nomination, with Presidence Clinton and Obamamoderating. I don't know how you bring
that together, but you know you'rethe magician. You could do it.
But is that chaos? Is thatthe recipe for chaos, and you've got
Chicago, the memories of nineteen sixtyeight. If there is no peace bringing
(18:48):
out in Gaza, you've got demonstrations, you know it might be chaos.
I'll tell you what we're doing rightnow. We do it exactly what Donald
Trump and Morlogle wants to do.Anybody doesn't believe it. Read Kim Albert,
journalist in America. And if theDemocratic Party is held on pleasing Donald
Trump, then go ahead and dothis. It's just that simple. He
(19:10):
is right on target. He musthave heard our song. Hang on,
Joe, you can get it atDan Caplis on Twitter. Let's go to
the VIP line. We're awaiting Biden'sspeaking in Michigan. We're watching it on
the monitors. It looks like Idon't know if it's a high school gym
or a car dealership, but it'snot exactly the arena's Donald Trump, Phils,
Dick Wadhams, Welcome back to theDan Caplis Show. Good afternoon,
(19:33):
Dan. I woke up to somescintillating video of you on Complete Colorado talking
about a topic I love, whichis who will Kamala Harris's VP. I
don't know if it's going to beKamala or Newsome or some other DEM.
Let's hope it's not Michelle. Butbut if it is Kamala, who do
you think her VP is and mightthey have a local connection. Well,
(19:57):
as I talked on that the program, I do think that Jared Polis is
going to make a play for it. He's going to teut the fact that
he would be the first gay vicepresident, the first Jewish vice president,
and that he has a reputation, although not accurate, as being a moderate
(20:18):
and libertarian. So I really thinkhe'll go for it. But I don't
think he has any chance to beingselected Dan, right, So what's his
real endgame? Is it a cabinetposition should a DEM win? No,
I think I think what he's lookingat Dan is his tournaments governor ends in
twenty twenty, and then of courseit will be an open presidential state regardless
(20:40):
of whether Biden or Trump wins. And I think I think he's going to
run for president, and so Ithink he's running for the he wants to
have the visibility of this, Butno, he's a cabinet position is way
beneath Jared Polis. Give me abreak, So you think he's looking at
twenty eight then, so this isjust about why he's in his profile for
twenty eight. Now in the meantime, in the meantime, does he bidenize
(21:03):
hicken Looper and try to take thatSenate seat in twenty six? I would
doubt that he would try to primaryhiccken Looper, Dan, I don't think
he would do it. In fact, I don't think that would really serve
his purpose. If he wants tobe president now, I can see him
exert if he's exerting some back roompressure on hicken Hooper not to run again,
(21:26):
I could see him do that.I don't think he would outright oppose
him, though, right I wouldagree with you on that we're not going
to see a contested primary where weall get to watch it. But if
he wanted to, if he wantedto shive hicken Looper, he could do
it, right metaphorically speaking, heprobably he probably could. I'll tell you
what I'm sensing in the Democratic Party, Dan, is that I'm sensing that
(21:49):
younger Democrats are saying, why isHickenlooper going to run for another term?
He's going to be in his lateseventies. Why doesn't he step aside?
He's been governor and now senator, why doesn't he step aside and let a
new generation of Democrats come forward? And I think there will be a lot
of discussion of that once this electiongets over with. And the thing about
(22:11):
it is is that I could seea Democratic socialist actually challenging him in a
Democratic primary. Don't think they wouldwin, that they could make his life
miserable, right, And that justoccurred to him that the woke, enlightened
Democratic Party has three overstuffed, boring, pale, old white guys as their
top office holders. But I thought, wait a say, I thought Polis
(22:33):
and Bennett, Nack and Luper theywere all about people of color and everybody
else's racist. Accept them, Butthey keep they keep taking these jobs and
keeping these jobs from younger people andpeople of color. Maybe somebody's starting to
notice that. I think, Ithink there is starting to be some notice
of that. I don't, Ihonestly don't think Bennett will run again when
(22:56):
he comes up. I think he'sbeen he will have been there like years
and that's twenty. I don't thinkhe'll run again. And then the governor's
race will be wide open. Andwe know Jenna Griswold is going to run,
We know Phil Wiser will probably run. The wild card is a Joe
Goose. Will he walk away frombeing in the leadership of the House Democrats
(23:17):
or will he depart that to runfor governor. So there's going to be
a lot of action in twenty one. Do you think there's any doubt?
I mean, isn't it certain theGoose? Well, obviously, Mike Johnson
has been running for governor since, you know, before he ran for mayor.
In the Goose of Freddy wouldn't beatJohnston or that he wouldn't be the
Republican. I think Joan Goose isthe golden boy of Democratic politics right now.
(23:41):
In fact, a Democrat actually describedhim to me as the Corey Gardner
of the Democratic partner that's high price. That he's very popular, he's very
outgoing. Joan the Goose has avery pleasing personality. And but I honestly
think Dan it's going to be toughfor him because he actually could become Speaker
(24:03):
of the House at some point ifhe hung around the house long enough.
And he's been like it's been likea meteoric rise for him since he got
elected to the House. Interesting toquadhams our guests, So might we see
a a Goose Corey Gardner match upin that governor's race in twenty six?
You know, I would love forCorey to consider running. I got to
(24:25):
tell you that we're just gonna haveto see if the governor's race and will
even be winnable, because right nowwe are still mired in some pretty bad,
pretty bad situation Colorado, and ithas been aggravated by the dysfunctional Republican
leadership in Colorado that has made aRepublican's almost irrelevant. Hopefully that gets taken
(24:48):
care of at some point, Butif Joe Biden somehow finds himself getting re
elected, I gotta tell you Ithink Colorado could be in play in twenty
twenty six. Well, one thingwe know for sure is no GOP candidate
is going to be able to winstatewide without full throated support from the base,
full throated support from every other factionby every other name it's called,
(25:11):
right, I mean, just themath. You can't win without all that,
you can't. But it also hasto be somebody who can address the
cold hard reality of Colorado politics rightnow that forty eight percent, and I
predicted we'll go over fifty very soon. Of the electorate is unaffiliated, and
unless you find a way to winenough vote of un affiliated voters, you
(25:36):
cannot win a statewide election. Actually, but that's been the case for decades,
even when we were a third tothird to third, you had to
win unaffiliated. But it's even abigger challenge today. And Dick, let's
bring it closer to home, thisamazing, wonderful historic moment we're in right
now, where we have this cannibalismof the left before our eyes to feast
on twenty four to seven, hopefullyfor a long time to come. Who
(26:00):
is the DEM nominee going to bewhen the dust and the bones settle.
I honestly think it'll be Kamala HarrisDan. I just don't think they can
walk away from her. It wouldit would cause that would cause real dissension
within the party. Uh uh.And I just I just and you know
(26:21):
she she wants to be an historicfigure, the first black woman to be
president or even be nominated for president. I think the only drama I think
I think she will have to be. They were they almost have to nominate
her, but let me say this. Can you imagine how the nation would
be riveted on that convention if ittruly was an open convention? And and
(26:44):
I mean that that would be unbelievablyexciting to watch. I think it would
be. And frankly, it kindof scares me though, Dan, Yeah,
because come out of that convention wouldbe like a rocket. Yeah.
No, that's right. And therewouldn't be full time to vet them.
That convention isn'tntil like a week beforeelection day. I mean, there'd be
no real time to vet him.And and you know, right, I
(27:04):
mean yeah, yeah, So thatthat scenario concerns me greatly because bottom line
is, if there's if there's onething I know for sure, I know
a couple of things for sure, but one of them is Biden is not
going to be their nominee on electionday. I agree with you, Dan,
I you know, he's kind ofholding on. He did well enough
last night to kind of stem thebleeding a little bit, but he's not
(27:27):
gonna. Believe me, it's gonnait's not going to happen for him.
But the key figure in this,Dan, is not to Barack Obama or
Nancy Polosi. It's Jill Biden andat some point, she's a smart,
intelligence, politically savvy woman. Atsome point she's going to realize that the
party does not want that won himand that they need to step aside and
(27:48):
save their reputation. And I thinkthat at some point she will make that
happen. And DICKI only about fifteentwenty seconds, and let's start getting together
in studio every week. But mypersonal theory, and it has been for
a while, and I think recentreporting backs it up, is yeah,
Jill has influenced. But bottom lineis Hunter as control and that's why he's
in the White House. That's whyhe's the gatekeeper. He's the guy who
(28:10):
could destroy Joe Biden. I thinkHunter's in control, and I know you
disagree, but if you accept thatfor the sake of discussion, where does
that end. If Hunter's in control? Well, I have no doubt that
Hunter plays a big role in this, Dan, really I totally agree with
you there. I really think thoughJill is the key figure. She and
Joe Biden are very very close, and I think she reality is on the
(28:36):
final way hit her at some point. But you're right, Hunter plays a
big role too. Last question,Let's say that Michelle Obama decides she wants
it. At that point, shecan bump Kamala right, just promise to
be Attorney general whatever whatever I mean. Kamala can't stand up to Michelle.
Michelle is the one person who couldblow through that convention and walk away with
(28:59):
it as by showing up. Man, I'd be terrified of her in the
general. Oh my lord, let'spray she isn't the candidate. Thank you,
Dick, Please, let's get youin studio next week. Thank you.
You're on the Dan Caplas Show. And now back to the Dan Taplass
Show podcast. What concerns do youhave about Vice President Harris's ability to be
Donald Trump if she were at thetop of the ticket. Look, I
(29:23):
wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump tobe vice president. I think she was
not qualified to be president. Isn'tthat Shouldn't that end it right there?
But no, wait, there's more. I'm following the advice of my commander
and cheat. And that's on theheels of obviously introducing Zelensky as Putin.
(29:45):
But because he didn't have like athree minute freeze up last night, it's
a great success room. And allI can say is this, that's wonderful.
The longer he stays in the race, the better, because remember the
longer Joey hangs on, the betterfor Trump. Yeah, you can get
(30:10):
the full song on at Dan Kaplison Twitter, and I hope you do
that. Many people are right nowand you just can't get that tune out
of your head. Now. Mostof the credit goes to the hang On
Sloopy. Did you ever see thatoriginal hang On Sloopy music video? Right?
It really is just one of thoseclassics up back in the day.
So anyway, I hope you're enjoyingthis as much as I am, and
(30:32):
I'm clear about it. I've talkedabout it, and a lot of people
are mad about that. But myjob is to tell you the truth,
and the truth is that this campaignis about to get a lot tougher because
as soon as Biden announces he's nolonger the nominee, it's going to be
a tougher road for Trump and upand down the ticket for the GOP and
yeah, all the rest of theDems would be horrible presidents and everything else,
(30:53):
but they're going to have a perfectscenario or they get to pop in
and it's a very short campaign, and there isn't much time to vet and
expose them, and the whole media, the ninety nine percent of it's going
to be on their side and coveringtheir flaws and making up positive stuff for
him. It's gonna be really hard, so let's enjoy it right now while
(31:15):
it lasts. I am confident inthe end Trump will win, but it's
it's about to get a lot tougher. That's why I want him to hang
on. Joey. Joey is ina very nice part of town, and
you're done, Joey, boy, they sure do. It's just growing by
(31:41):
the many. Joey, I don'twhat your brain. Don't do. That's
a lot because I just walk allof the Democrats suits, Sully. That
(32:04):
is exactly what we need. Buthow much longer will it last? I
mean, it is amazing now justfrom all corners and donors today, a
lot of news stories. Donors arefreezing ninety million in donations planned giving to
Biden. James Carville, he's he'sfired up about this. I can't offhand
remember five presidents who were elected andthey were in their rap a thirties.
(32:30):
Help me here, I can't helpyou I'm sorry. You know, somebody's
gonna asked to follow up. GeorgChuck, you know, is forgetting anybody.
And I think he said it wasthe lowest said he'd never seen.
But we got to move fast.We can't back check everything. But a
little bit of a crisis here.Yeah, James Carville, he sees it,
(32:51):
and he's seen it for a while. What always happens is Washington tights.
We are you gonna we have ClintonObama. That's not gonna work.
Well, I don't care do something, don't just stay in the way that
Washington kills. Everything is well, fill in the details, shames, the
details are well track to lose anelection to a major criminal who is going
(33:14):
to destroy the Western Alliance, theConstitution, and everything in between. So
we ought to act like it.I just love this. He gotta almost
the entire left freaking out right nowright, And there's nothing they can do
about it short term. I meanthere they are running Biden out, but
they just it's like they can't doit today. They wanted to do it
yesterday, they wanted to do itthe day after the debate. It's going
(33:36):
to take them a few more days, maybe even a couple more weeks if
we're lucky. But it's fun tosee them go crazy because they can't get
their way right now, Texter ora da in five, seven, seventh
through nine, Dan, I thinkthis is the only time that we agree.
Hunter is manipulating Biden to stay inand he's the only reason Biden is
holding on. I wouldn't say's theother reason? Whatever? Say is this?
(33:57):
Biden, as I've said for monthson the show, must do what
Hunter tells him to do. BecauseHunter could walk into a prosecutor's office and
destroy he could walk into the pressroom at the White House and destroy Joe
Biden. Biden must do what Huntertells him. And that was proven,
wasn't it by the fact that HunterBiden is now operating out of the White
House, according to NBC, servingas Biden's gatekeeper. What other reason for
(34:21):
that would there be? Dan,Hillary wants VP. No, Hillary wants
president, and I don't see thathappening right now, but I wouldn't count
it completely out at this point,Dan. The main headline on Fox's website
read that Biden was now slightly aheadof Trump and then goes on to ask
why I touched on this earlier butwanted to repeat it for a new audience.
(34:43):
Don't take that seriously, but begrateful for it. Be grateful because
maybe it encourages Biden to stay ina few more days. But it's Washington
Post. It's an ABC Washington Postpoll, the same group that said the
week before the twenty twenty election thatBiden was ahead what thirteen or fourteen points
in Wisconsin and he won by ahandful of votes. So it's just a
wrong outlier poll. But hey, let's hope it keeps Biden in there a
(35:06):
few days longer. When we comeback, lots of fun, lots of
hot sound from an amazing day
