Donald Trump made a triumphant entrance on Monday night at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, just over 50 hours after an assassination attempt failed by a matter of mere centimeters. Has this near-death experience changed the man? Dan and Ryan believe it might have, and we will likely see the resulting outcome of the entire ordeal on Thursday night.

Rep. Ty Winter (R-47) joins Dan to discuss the reaction, fallout, and ghoulish responses from the Left after Saturday's assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

Included among them was a reprehensible post by Colorado state Rep. Steven Woodrow (D-2, Denver), prompting calls from Republican leadership in the House for Woodrow to resign or be expelled.

After Saturday's shooting, Woodrow posted, "The last thing we needed was sympathy for the devil but here we are." Woodrow deleted his X account shortly after making the post.

This is Dan Caplis and welcome totoday's online podcast edition of The Dan Caplis
Show. Please be sure to giveus a five star rating if you'd be
so kind, and to subscribe, download and listen to the show every single
day on your favorite podcast platform.Glad you are here on this historic Tuesday.
It is historic in so many differentways. What kind of history has

(00:21):
been made? I believe it's historythat's going to save the United States of
America and by extension, the world. Time will tell, and it won't
be much time because early voting startslike tomorrow. No, but it's very
soon. Eight five to five fourzero five eight two five five text d
an five seven seven three nine.I'm sure you've already heard the Latest today,
right, Well you did. Youheard the Latest a long time ago

(00:43):
if you listen to this show, because we were just talking about it weeks
ago, and we've talked about itmany times before that, and I said
on this show, my grave fearis that Iran will attempt to kill President
Trump because Trump had the courage totake out SOLA money, and as we've
talked about forever on this show,it's one of the many reasons I admire

(01:03):
President Trump the physical courage because heknew when he gave that order to take
out that evil Iranian terrorist general, that at that point he was forever multiplying
the danger to himself and his family, and he did it to protect America.
We talked about it just a weekor two ago on this show,
the threat Iron posed to his life. And I'm not saying it's Iron that

(01:25):
tried to take him out Saturday, though you can't completely rule that out.
But here's the point. We nowhave CNN, CBS, Fox, and
many others reporting that, yes,in fact, USS had live intel for
weeks that Iran had an active plotto assassinate Trump. And yet the Biden

(01:47):
administration on Saturday, through what mustbe considered the most grave act of incompetence
imaginable, allows a direct killsh adirect kill shot on President Trump, one
that would have been so easy tospot and stop. They allow that knowing

(02:10):
there's an active plot by Iran toassassinate Trump. Isn't that in and of
itself disqualifying if on no other basistotal incompetence. And again, I'm not
saying that the shooter is connected toIran, but I'm not saying you can
rule that out at this point.I mean, when you look at what
we're learning now, and obviously it'sa fraction of what's available, but what

(02:34):
we're learning now goes back to theinitial impression that it was truly miraculous that
President Trump, at what must havebeen the one and only precise instant he
could have done it, turned hishead slightly, which caused the bullet to
go through his ear rather than throughthe back of his head. I mean,
doesn't that tell you that this shooter, whoever this monster is as a

(03:00):
person, doesn't that tell you hegot off a highly professional shot under those
circumstances, Because what we know nowis he has to scale that roof,
and obviously there's a lot of differentreporting about how he got up there.
He has to get across the roof, He has a police officer come up
behind him on the roof. Hethen has to turn and point the gun

(03:21):
at the officer. He then hasto get into position and take that first
shot at Trump, which, fromwhat we know now and again we don't
know everything, under those circumstances, that shot was on target. That shot
was going to kill Trump. IfTrump doesn't miraculously turn his head at just

(03:42):
the right instant. So how couldthis happen? It's an almost unimaginable level
of incompetence for the administration and powerwhich controls Secret Service, knowing that there's
a threat by a state, anation state actor that has to be taken,

(04:03):
very very very credibly given Trump takingout Solamani an active threat to kill
Trump and the administration because listen, the administration is in charge of Secret Service.
That's why I say the administration throughagain a level of incompetence, maybe

(04:24):
never before seen in human history, allows an easy, open kill shot on
the president. And then how aboutthis afterward? And this is such a
true tell, isn't it? Afterward, after all of this happens, and
by the grace of God, andyou know, as we discussed yesterday,
I believe it was divine intervention,by the grace of God, Trump survives,

(04:48):
Biden doesn't fire my orcis, hedoesn't fire Cheetle. What does that
tell you? And more importantly,no offense. What does that tell others
who mean Trump? Okay, theyallowed this essentially, this layup right,
They allowed this layup kill shot knowingthat Iran was threatening, actively threatening now

(05:11):
to assassinate Trump actively plotting to assassinateTrump according to human intel. What does
it tell you that afterward Biden doesn'tfire them, both of them immediately because
he knows everybody around him knows themessage that choosing not to fire them sinds.
What message does that send? Doyou think to others who mean harm,

(05:36):
who mean harmed President Trump? Whatmessage does that send? Eight five
five for zero five eight two fivefive the number would love your thoughts and
all of that. Real quick question, Dan, how many people in his
administration in three and a half yearshas Joe Biden ever fired? Well?
Right? And one of the beautifulpoints Trump made at the debate, Right,

(05:57):
one of the beautiful points he made, and I think one that resident
with the American people, which goesback to a point that I've made a
long time ago and should pierce theprotective mental armor of anybody trying to defend
Biden, which is, hey, wait a second, truly, can any
person honestly say that they would hireJoe Biden for any job in their orbit

(06:18):
right now, To be a babysitterat home, to be a greeter at
walmartin those are wonderful people with animportant job. Now, any honest person
would have to say they would nothire Biden for any single job they're aware
of any job of importance to them. Let alone, would any company hire
Biden to be at CEO? Ofcourse not yet. America is supposed to

(06:40):
hire him now to be it's CEO, it's commander in chief. It's nonsense,
it's ludicrous. But getting back tothis point, Listen, it's been
no secret that Iran wanted to killTrump. Aron put out a video.
I'm going to tweet it out shortly. Aron put out a video, a
video alone long time ago showing oneof the ways it was planning to kill

(07:03):
Trump, but promising to kill Trump. And against that backdrop, the Biden
administration allows this obvious, open, predictable in the sense that anybody looking at
the situation new then yeah, hey, if somebody with a weapon got up
on that roof, they could shootthe president from there and allow that to

(07:24):
occur. But again I come backto, I come back to I think
the most damning evidence that afterwards Bidendoes not fire my Orchis and Cheetah.
What does that tell you eight fivefive or zero five eight two five five?
Hey, we have lots more totalk about as well, lots more
to talk about from an amazing nightlast night as a former Democrat. You
know, I sat there last nightloving every minute of it. For a

(07:46):
couple of reasons. One is becauseif you just closed your eyes or your
parachute it in you might think you'rewatching the Democrat National Convention until you know
the really moving entry of President Trumpet cetera. But the other is,
I vividly remember I've told this storybefore, but it's it's even more relevant
now, or maybe relevant for thefirst time. But I remember as a

(08:09):
young kid sitting there with my familywatching the Republican National Convention. And I
cannot remember the exec year, butwe were watching it as a family,
you know, south side of Chicago. My dad a cop. My mom
became one of the original pro lifeactivists after Row. But we're sitting there
and we're watching the Republican National Conventionand my father, who never says a

(08:31):
negative word about anybody or anything, was just disgusted and I what's up.
He says, there's not a singleblack face there. And I remember,
like Ryan, like it was tenseconds ago, looking at the tube.
It was a tube, looking atthe tube and there wasn't a single black
face, and my dad was disgustedby that, and I'll never forget that

(08:52):
image. And so looking last nightat this new version of the Republican Party,
and it's not like their Publican Party. It just became this way.
The Republican Party for a very verylong time has cared deeply about people of
color and wanting to give equal opportunity, et cetera. I just didn't appreciate
that or believe it as a Democrat. I do now that I know the

(09:13):
party firsthand. But then last nightto see the GOP do that, it
was so beautiful. And we'll havesome of that sound Union leader as well.
And Trump's got it right, andwe've talked about it before. For
the GOP to win and the GOPto matter, it has to be the
party of working people, and hehas it well on its way to that.

(09:33):
So some hot sound from last night. I want to get your take
on all of this, including inlight of this new information I put new
end quotes. We've talked about itfor a long time on the show,
that the administration is known for weeksthat Iron is actively plotting now to assassinate
Trump. They allow this wide openkill shot on Saturday. Shouldn't that Shouldn't

(09:54):
that in and of itself, thatlevel of incompetence disqualify Biden. You're on
the Dan Kaplick Show, and nowback to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.
I've got a Texter who I think, you know, I might be driving
and just misheard or might be insincere, but he says, Dan, I
do like listening to your show, but today I had to change the station

(10:16):
because I couldn't take listening to you. Reaching on the quote Iran possibility of
the shooter, Wait a second,I said repeatedly, I am not saying
that the assassin of President Trump, the attempted assassin of President Trump, is
tied to Iran. I said thatrepeatedly. Now, I don't think investigators
should rule that out without looking intoit. But I said repeatedly, I'm

(10:39):
not saying he's tied to Iran.My point is that the administration, knowing
that there's an active effort by Iranto assassinate Trump, what would allow that
kind of that kind of fatally poorsecurity on Saturday should disqualify Biden based on

(11:00):
that incompetence alone. I said thatrepeatedly. So I don't know what that
texter heard eight five five for zerofive eight two five five the number.
But the other fact that he takesissue with, but from everything we know
now from the outside, it's afact, is that first that shot,
that particular shot was on track tokill Trump under all of those conditions,

(11:24):
that shot was headed right into theside of his head until Trump miraculously turned
his head slightly. So what doesthat tell you about the abilities of this
monster who under all of those circumstancessomehow got himself up onto that roof and

(11:45):
somehow, even while a police officerwas pursuing him and he had to point
his gun at the officer, stillwas able to get a shot off that
was on track, from everything weknow at this point, to go into
the side of President Trump's head.Again, I believe I'm with those who
believe there was divine intervention, butone way, the others think God,
the president is alive. This isDon Junior talking to an MSNBC reporter at

(12:09):
the GOP convention. What does thatchange going to look like? Don?
What practically your father as president?I think you would even say it was
a divisive figure. What's it goingto look like in the second term.
I don't think he was a divisivefigure at all. I think the media
created divisiveness around him. They liedabout Russia Russia collusion, They said he
was a traitor. They went afterhim in every which way is possible if
the media actually starts being an honestbroker, talking about the things that he

(12:33):
did, the prosperity he brought, the peace deals that he signed around the
world, rather than the disaster thatwe're living right now. I think you
do everyone in the country big favor. I know we have. Agreation is
important, Jim. I covered thefamily separation crisis closely. When we continue
to see policies like separating five thousandchildren deliberately from their parents, you mean
the Obama administration, And what doyou know they didn't do that, sir?
Sure, Oh, there be asecond family separation policy. It's MSDNC.

(12:56):
So I expect nothing less from youclowns, even today, even forty
eight hours later. You couldn't wait. You couldn't wait with your lines and
with your nonsense. So just getout of here. Boy. I'll tell
you he is. And I've interviewedhim a couple of times don He's just
one of the sharpest people I've evermet, ever heard, ever seen,
ever watched. And I had thoughtall along from the outside, nobody ever

(13:18):
told me this that within the Trumpfamily there was a hope that he would
succeed President Trump as president. AndI do wonder had President Trump won that
second term consecutively, had he wonit back in twenty if if that would
have been the play, because boy, it's really really sharp. Don't agree
with every single thing he's ever said, but agree with a lot of it,

(13:41):
and talk about super sharp. Eightfive five for zero five eight two
five five. The number here isthe Secret Service director saying the buck stops
with her, but not really. We sat down with director Kim Cheetle today
for an exclusive interview. What wasthe reaction when you saw the unfold on
Saturday? Shock and then concern, obviously for the former president. This is

(14:07):
an event that should have never happened. Who is most responsible for this happening?
What I would say is that theSecret Service is responsible for the protection
of the former president. So thebuck stops with you, the buck stops
with me, I am the directorof the Secret Service. It was unacceptable
and it's something that shouldn't happen again. The President and Homeland Security Secretary said
today they had one percent confidence inyou, but there are some members of

(14:31):
Congress calling on you to resigne.I appreciate the secretary's comments, and we're
going to continue to be transparent andcommunicate with people. You plan to stay
on absolutely, I do plan tostay on. Yeah, But this is
on Biden, right. I mean, Biden should have fired both immediately,
and he sends a very very dangerousmessage to those who mean harmed to Trump
by not firing both immediately. Ona much brighter note, Senator Tim Scott,

(14:54):
last night, if you didn't believein miracles before Saturday, even leaving
right now, thank God Almighty thatwe live in a country that still believes
in the King of Kings and theLord of Lords, the Alba and the

(15:16):
Omega, and our God, ourGod still saves, he still delivers,
and he still sets free. Somemore from Kim Scott. He was really
good last night because on Saturday, the devil came to Pennsylvania holding a rifle,

(15:41):
but an American lion got backed upon his feet and he ruled.
He ruled. Jesse did loving thatone more than from Senator Scott. I

(16:08):
know this is going to offend theliberal elites. Every time I say it,
it offends him. But let mesay it one more time. America
is not a racist country. Nowe're not. But if you are looking
for racism today, you'd find itin cities run by Democrats. Look on

(16:36):
the South Side of Chicago, poorblack kids trapped in failing schools, thousand
shot every single year, including oneof my former interns, Dei Kwon.
But there's good news. It's conservativevalues that restores hope. It's Republican policy

(17:00):
pse that lifts people up. Theother good news is that you've got enough
people of color who are starting torealize that it's the Democrat Party that has
these policies that are flagrantly, blatantlyracist in effect, starting with the Democrats'
total devotion to abortion, which killsfour or five black children for every white

(17:22):
children, and no child should bekilled. And then if the Democrat policies
don't kill you before birth, personof color, then they hold you down
afterward by opposing to the death trueschool choice, which would liberate so many
people of color and give them afair opportunity to compete in life. But
that's the last thing this Democratic Partywants. So more and more people of

(17:45):
color are realizing that, and Ithink it's reaching a tipping point. And
tipping point doesn't necessarily mean that amajority of folks in this situation do all
at the same time, but thatenough folks do to change the outcome of
elections or change the future of theirlives, particularly the lives of their children,
because you put conservatives in power, and all of a sudden, a

(18:07):
lot more people of color are goingto be born, a lot more people
of color are going to have afair opportunity to compete in life, and
many more people of color are startingto realize that. So so many reasons
for hope. When we come back, going to defend a CNN commentator whos
under attack from some on the right. You're on the Dan Kaplis Show,
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Showpodcast. And I think we all can

(18:32):
agree whether people like him, well, they don't like him, and line
of what happened to him on Saturday, he has proven to be one tough
SOB. I loved seeing Shawn O. Brown there. I don't agree with
everything he says, every policy wantsbut I loved seeing him there. That's

(18:55):
the future of the GOP, theParty of working people. And in terms
of good powers, my lord,if you win Wisconsin, there is no
path for Biden. Let home Michiganor Pennsylvania real quick. That was a
tongue in Sheek remarked, because ifyou spell out the letters of Shawn's name,
Sean O'Brien is SOOB and his Twitterx handle is teamster Soob. You

(19:18):
know what was so interesting about hiscomment there, You know, the Trump's
proven to be one tough SLB.I've talked before on the show about how
my amazing wife just despises President Trump. And listen, she as a registered
Democrats, showed great courage in supportingJohn McCain. She hosted a town hall
at his request, things like that. But she just doesn't like Trump.

(19:41):
But after Saturday, you know,we were at an event Saturday night and
she just said to me, andI give her great credit for it,
she just said, to me,boy, he is one tough SOOB.
And it was in a very verycomplimentary way, you know, because it
just showed a character in that moment, that raw moment, human moment.
It just showed his the depth ofhis character, and I think a lot

(20:03):
of new people were impressed with him. Hey, let's go to the VIP
line. Welcome Tye Winter to theshow, or as we call him,
John Dutton. Ty is, ofcourse, assistant minority leader of the GOP
here in Colorado. Tie, welcomeback to the Dan Kapla Show. Thanks
for having me. It's always agood time to be on the show with
you in and honor well, thankyou, my friend, the honors ours.

(20:25):
But you saw Costner is not goingback to Yellowstone. They're not going
to shoot these final episodes with him. No, that's crazy. I've been
looking forward to see the new moviehe just produced and it's now, but
I haven't had a chance yet.Unfortunate. It was a good show,
but you know, it is whatit is. And as they say,
the show, let's go on andthe new movie looks good, but that

(20:45):
it looks like he has this fakemustache on at one point, but I
got to see the whole movie. But the reason we talked Yellowstone with Tie
is he is like Colorado's John Dutton. I mean, he is the real
deal. And so I wanted toget you on TI to get your reaction
to this Stephen Woodrow stuff, thisprominent Colorado state Rep. Who went national

(21:07):
on setate. I mean, ifI remember, I don't remember the exact
timing, but it was very soonafter this assassin almost took Trump's life and
he's sending out these vile tweets. So give folks your take on that.
You know, Dan, thanks forbringing it up, and really it's wrong
and disgusting as a nation. Youknow, we even talked about this during
last session, about trying to healand find a path forward for its citizens.

(21:30):
And then I happen to be watchingit live. My family's done pound
for something, and I was watchingit live in the afternoon and just like
heart dropped to the floor. Itwas aware his feeling. And then you
get online and you sell this viitualcoming from you know, different people,
and then you know, the commentscome up from Rep. Woodrow, and
I was like wow, because Dan, he tweets constantly during committee, He's

(21:52):
constantly carrying wrote comparing Mega and Republicansto you know, the right and different
things that we see throughout so,I mean, the bad things and it's
just not right. And much leadsinto the assassination attempt on President Trump that
Vitua woman. Even the character assassinationthat we go through as Republicans and Conservatives,
they write their own marriatives about us. They put us in a box,

(22:15):
and if you try to explain yourway out of it, it's not
good enough, even if you havea good enough, you know reason.
So just what we deal with. And it's just un fortunate that he tweets
this right after the man almost loseshis life, because in America, nobody
should be happy or nobody should promoteany type of political violence. And I
think everybody knows now the tweet saidfrom this Representative wood Row, Stephen Woodrow,

(22:37):
D two Denver, the last thingwe needed was sympathy for the devil.
But here we are, and hey, and I may have missed it.
Did police ever condemn him for this? I haven't seen anything from the
governor. The Democrat state party chaircondemned him. There's been comments from leadership
saying that it was a bad tweet, but they've already pivoted to now he's

(23:00):
receiving threats, so you know, they flipped it on its back to where
you know, what he said waswrong, but you know, you need
to stop the violent threats against him, which he shouldn't go through either.
That's wrong as well, but youknow, and it's just his his If
you would call it an apology, which I don't think it's an apology.
They wrote about it in one ofthe publications there in Denver, and it
was a half hearted apology. Itdoesn't All it does is save him in

(23:23):
the media, and it doesn't actuallyapologize to the people that are hurt by
this. You know, Trump supporters, anybody that would think this was disgusting,
that's not a Trump supporter. Soit was just an easy skate out
for him and tell us. Idon't know this guy, I assume you've
met him, spend all of timewith some in person, Well, how
do you think this came down?I mean, what kind of mentality,

(23:47):
what kind of a brain, whatkind of person? What would sit there
watching all of this and then soonafterwards tweets something like this out How does
a person get to that point? You know, Dan, I really haven't
spent a whole lot of time withhim, but I will tell you when
he does speak at the Capitol. You know, there was in his I
guess what you would call apology. You know, there was talk about you

(24:11):
know, just wasn't thinking straight orit came off different than I wanted to.
Woodrow is very meticulous about what hesays. There's times I've seen him
come down to the wall, especiallywhen he has to speak against his colleagues
legislation if you can't vote for it. And I've sat back and watched him
write speeches, and he's very meticulousabout what he says. So, you
know, to play it off islike it was an off the cup re
mark. He's very literal. Imean. The secondly, you know,

(24:33):
like I said, I haven't spentmuch time with him at the Capitol.
He's not in the circle of legislatorsthat I work with on legislation. You
know, everybody kind of has whatthey go there and work on and for.
But you know, I mean, like you know, seen at numerous
times in committees where constituents are showingthat he's tweeting. I've seen tweets that
say some pretty horrible things about Republicans. And if the end of the day

(24:56):
down what this comes down to isis we need to thought this in this
country. But the accountability, they'realready trying to shift the accountability on conservatives,
and they forget that in twenty sixteenthat Trump supporters were getting milkshaped and
beat up leaving rally though. Yeah, and that there was a teenager ran
over in the northern part of theStates, and that you know, you

(25:17):
know, Harley Kirk and Riley Gainsand anybody that wanted to speak on a
college campus had to have security.I mean, Ben Shapiro. So this
all it's conservatives that have caused thisviolence. Now simmer down. You shouldn't
feel this way. This has beengoing on way before anything else that we
can even discuss. Yeah, andso many on the left view honesty as

(25:37):
a weakness, right, I mean, they just revel in this constant dishonesty.
But my last thought on this, and ty Winter kind enough to join
us GOP assistant minority leader in theHouse, is is when he tweets the
last thing we needed was sympathy forthe devil. Has he ever stopped to
think how many policies he pushes hecelebrates that the devil would just love Right,

(26:00):
So you talk about the irony ofthat, but hey, I appreciate
the hard work you're doing down there, and everybody's doing down there. It
has to be absolutely maddening to goup against so many on the left who
are so dishonest, so hateful.I've always said venom interferes, hate interferes
with brain function. I think wesaw that again here with this representative Woodrow.

(26:21):
And keep up the good work,my friend. Thanks Dan. And
it's like I said, it's anhonor to serve the good people of Colorado.
And we're going to make movements andwe're going to get things done.
I have faith, you know,we're strong now, we're united, and
we're going to push forward and we'regoing to do good work for Colorado.
So thanks for having me on,and God bless Colorado and most importantly,
God bless the United States of America. Sir, Amen to that. Take

(26:41):
care. That's Representative ty Winter.Hey, I want to fire up this
sound I told you about before thebreak, and this is from Kate Bettingfield
on CNN and this is just thismorning and she's talking about some you know
that Biden needs to come after Trumpharder. And here's the phrase to you.
He has said many many times, after having been questioned many times about

(27:03):
this, that he's not stepping downand he's going to be the nominee so
at some point Democrats have to decidethat they want to try to win this
election and turn their fire on DonaldTrump. I think there is I should
have said turned their fire. Iapologize that that was not the phrase that
I meant. They need to turntheir focus on Donald Trump. Yeah,
and listen, not the best choicefor it's I get it. But it's

(27:25):
not stuff like that. It's notstuff like that that I condemn the left
for. It's not using terminology likethat that you causes mentally deranged to go
out and think about taking out Trump. It's the other stuff they do when
they compare him to Hitler, whenthey say he's this clear and present danger

(27:48):
to democracy and if Trump wins, will lose our nation and we'll never have
a free election again. It's thatkind of stuff, Not when people use
terminology like fight terminology and things likethat that are that are commonly used in
a political sphere. It's not languagelike that. But it's the other stuff
where they demonize Trump to the extentwhere they've got to know that there are

(28:12):
some deranged people out there who aregoing to think, oh my goodness,
disrespected person is saying Trump's Hitler andthis and that I have no choice.
I have to go take them outin their deranged mind that they've got to
know when they demonize Trump in thoseextreme ways, they are dramatically increasing the
danger. It's not a matter ofwords like this that are commonly used in

(28:33):
politics. You're on the Dan CaplasShow, and now back to the Dan
Kaplis Show podcast. Wow, Andthen I'll go through everybody listening right now.
There's something about that song. Itbrought to mind for them, some
kind of powerful memory, right probablyevery single person listening. And for me

(28:53):
it was automatic. It was nota thought process. Joe was four and
you know, so I would drivehim to like pre k after nine to
eleven, and we, like everybodyelse, had the you know, American
flags, the plastic ones. Youjust had a little hook for your window,

(29:15):
and we would play this song aswe would drive and both of us
just singing it at the top ofour lungs, you know. And I'm
sure everybody listening can relate to somethinglike that, and particularly from that post
nine to eleven era. But thissong, did you watch last night?
I did? Yeah out to thatyeah yeah, oh yeah. What do
you mean to watch? Because you'regoing back to that memory I'm talking though

(29:38):
last night. Oh it was iconic. Yes, no disrespect to the president,
but that memory with Joe more powerful. But yeah, last night was
everything we thought it would be right. And that gets me to and I'll
get to the phones right now andback to our great textures. But but
that gets me to a point Iwant to make. You're going to be
seeing these headlines now, like there'sa headline out there. Trump gets no

(30:00):
bounce in polls from the assassination attempt, and I expect you'll see headlines Trump
gets no bouncing polls from the convention, and this one happened to be a
morning console poll where he just kepthis one or two point lead. Here's
the point, when you see allthat reporting on poles, it's very,
very possible that President Trump has reachedthe max, the highest point that he

(30:25):
can reach in the polls, regardlessof the level of support. For this
reason, we know this from experience. It's not theory. There are only
so many people who are willing totell a pollster they're going to support Trump,
and so it may be we've simplyreached that point where while he's gaining
additional support for all the reasons youthink he would. It's not going to

(30:48):
show up in the polls because he'sreached the max of the number of people
willing to tell a pollster they're goingto support Trump. Let's go to Lance
and Evergreen. You're on the DanKapla Show. Welcome, Hi Dan,
thanks for taking my call. Iwanted to add your opening statements when you
open the show today. Yes,both who saying Obama and Joe Biden had

(31:12):
done everything they can to make Iranrich again. Wasn't it didn't didn't Obama
send them six billion dollars? Oh? No, that was by we found
out what for? Yeah, hostages? He rewarded around with six billion.
But even worse than that, Trumphad iron virtually broke Iran didn't have the

(31:36):
money to engage in a lot ofthe evil they're engaging in now. Trump
had it figured out, and Bidencame in and immediately unraveled that as fast
as he could. And that's whyBiden should you know. I can't remember
if a justice made the point ornot, Lance, but but but a
similar point. I believe that Bidenshould be very grateful for the Supreme Court

(31:57):
immunity ruling, saying you know thata president can't be criminally charged for official
acts because you think of all thedifferent official acts of Biden, to start
with the southern border that have causedso much death and destruction in this country
and are arguably an obligation of hislegal duties, and stuff like that could
could get virtually every president prosecuted. But yeah, you look at how Biden's

(32:22):
policies have have helped Iran in somany different ways. It's obscene. I
don't remember who who went to butdidn't Obama send a helicopter with a palate
loader. Yeah, yep, that'sright, that's right, And I can't
remember the amount. Maybe Ryan does, but it was to Iran, yes

(32:43):
it was, and it was cashin front of it. It sure sounded
like code to me. When JoeBiden came out and said it's kind to
put Trump in the cross theirs bullseye, he said in the bulls eye hate
appreciate the call ans and bizarrely, and we'll play in the five o'clock hours
some of that sound. It's stunning. I mean, every time Biden goes

(33:07):
on air, he makes it worsefor himself for obvious reasons. He's not
competent to be president. But Ido want you to hear that sound in
the five o'clock card. But withLester Holt, he was trying to defend
himself against saying it's time to putTrump in the bullseye, and he said,
well, I didn't say crosshairs.But listen, I just think.

(33:30):
And this is the news of theday for those who just joined us.
It's multiple networks confirming the Biden administrationis known for weeks that there is live
human intel that Iran is actively plotting, has been actively plotting before Saturday to
kill Trump. Doesn't mean Saturday shooterwas tied to Iran. It does not
mean that. But the point isfor the Biden administration to be so incompetent

(33:52):
that any shooter, no matter who, no matter what, that any shooter
would be able to have that cleankill shot at not only a presidential candidate,
but at someone the administration knew whatwas likely under active assassination attempt by

(34:14):
a state actor. That's a levelof incompetence that should alone disqualify Biden from
the presidency. God forbid, ifTrump had then the failure to fire him
afterwards. That's what I'm saying rightnow, if Trump had died, God
forbid, would Kim Cheadle have losther job? Then? If the answer
is yes, then the only differencebetween her losing her job or not is
a bullet one inch or the other. That's the only difference between her losing

(34:36):
her job or not. Well,I think the answer is no. If
Biden wasn't going to fire her andfire my orchis after Saturday. And again
the new information today the administration knewon Saturday, had known for a while
Aron actively plotting to assassinate Trump nowand that's that's the level of competence you
get. But no, there's noreason to believe that God forbid, if

(35:00):
if Trump had died, that theywould have fired him. And that's why
many reasons American people are going tofire Biden
