so kind, and to subscribe, download and listen to the show every single
day on your favorite podcast platform.Well, good afternoon everyone. This is
Heidigan All not Dan Caplis. Danis in beautiful Switzerland with his beautiful wife

(00:21):
Amy and they are celebrating their winninganniversary. So I'm filling in and having
some fun with Ryan as well, one of my favorite broadcasters. Thank you.
So let's shift gears this next hourand talk a little bit about what's
happening in Colorado, specifically with theRepublican Party. There's been a lot of
tension that's no surprise to anyone. So I have a few guests coming up,

(00:45):
one of which is Hope Shoppleman, who is on the line right now.
Hope, welcome to the show.Would love to chat with you about
the state of the state of theGOP. Yes, thank you so much,
Heidi appreciate it. And we justhad an incredible experience at the RNC.
We spent a lot of time theretogether. You did a great job
organizing everyone and keeping us on track, which the Colorado Cruise a little unruly.

(01:07):
Sometimes we had a lot of fun, but it was a great event.
So thank you for that. Tellus so welcome. It was really
fun to be with you as well. What was your favorite speech that you
saw, To be honest with you, I think my favorite speech was the
everyday American because we can definitely identifyand guys with those everyday Americans, with

(01:30):
the inflation that is going on,the craziness with the open borders, and
obviously the touching stories of the thirteensoldiers, the families that lost their lives
there in Afghanistan, and me beingas a Navy veteran, I can definitely

(01:51):
identify without part. Yeah, thatwas quite quite touching and really made an
impact on the crowd. So let'stalk about another meeting that's coming up this
Saturday. I suppose it's the twentyseventh. Todd Watkins and Nancy Palazi are
putting together a meeting to attempt totake out Dave Williams as the chair.

(02:12):
What do you know about that meeting? And I know there's lots of lawsuits
going back and forth or legal maneuvering, but tell us a little bit about
what's up. Sure, and thankyou so much for taking the time for
me to get this information out.So the Sea Party ended up actually putting
out a call. It was Junetwenty ninth a physical mailer. We are

(02:36):
actually going to be having a officialState Central Committee meeting August thirty first,
that is going to be there inCastle Rock at the Rock Church August thirty
first at nine am. Unfortunately, mister Watkins and missus Palazi are conducting a

(02:58):
fraudulent It is illegal and it isfraudulent. We sent out the call on
official guidelines based on the bylaws. It needed to be out by UH ten
days from us getting their petition, which is just a list of names.
We have asked UH mister Watkins inthis philosphy to verify those names. Unfortunately,

(03:25):
with multiple emails back and forth, they had refused, and so we
went down the avenue of having ourExecutive Committee, our State Executive Committee to
share a controversy that was UH inthe they ended up actually ruling in the

(03:45):
state's favor that we need to beable to somehow some way verify and that
the risk of names that were juston a PDF. So Todd Watkins and
Nancy Closi have now put forward ameeting on this Saturday, which is the

(04:05):
twenty seventh, at a church there, and we are encouraging all of our
State Central Committee members tonot go becausewhatever is going to be conducted there is
not state business. We went aheadand put forward to call and we have
an official date to hear that,to hear the controversy as well as have

(04:31):
the vote based on the State CentralCommittee meeting members. Thanks hope. So
it's my understanding that there are fourhundred and fifteen Central Committee members. Is
that correct? That is correct? So any vote to als Dave as the
chair would have to receive sixty percentof those members voting to do that.

(04:53):
That would be two hundred and fortynine. Is my mouth right? That
is correct? Okay, Yes,it would have to be the entire your
voting body. Yes, that iscorrect. So two hundred and forty nine
members out of the four hundred andfifteen would have to vote to take Dave
out as the chair. They cando that by proxy, they don't have
to be their live Is that correct? That is correct? Okay, So

(05:17):
that meeting is happening July twenty seventh, this Saturday. Then You've got your
meeting on August thirty first, Wherewill the same thing happen at that meeting.
Yes, and we are going tobe it's going to be like a
We're giving both sides the ability tohear what is going on. Basically,

(05:42):
the SEC members will be able tohear from obviously the plate and the defendants
basically, so they can so DaveWilliams can have his his day basically in
court and be able to articulate whatis going on and defend himself. At
this point, they are not allowingDave Williams Chairman, Dave Williams to defend

(06:09):
or conduct any type of business byyou know, stating what has gone on,
and any type of meeting on thetwenty seventh is going to be all
and void. The State Party isnot going to hear it. Basically,
what is happening here is a coup. Unfortunately, Todd Watkins and Nancy Plosi

(06:33):
are really forcing this. I literallyjust sent an email out to these SEC
members, the State Central Committee members, letting them know that people are calling
them to put forward their proxies.Again, this is not a true and

(06:55):
legal meeting that is happening on Saturday. The twenty seventh, hopeful legal ad
A couple questions for you. Onehas have the court decided that yet or
is it still being decided? Itis still being decided. I do know
for sure that our our attorneys aredefinitely looking into that they will have something

(07:17):
by the end of this week. We're hoping. Okay. Second question,
why did you Why are you guyswaiting so long when we have so many
important races, like we just hadJohn Fabricatorreon who's running for Congress in Colorado
that they need your help desperately rightnow, the gops would be running on
all cylinders. Why not just getthis out of the way so we can
all move on, right And Ido understand that. So here's the big

(07:40):
The big thing is, as youjust started off with this conversation, we
were at the RNC convention. Iwas there a week prior, so I
had been taken out of the statefor two weeks to be there to help
function and run an RNC convention. And with that stated, we need at

(08:03):
least thirty days to make sure thatwe have a functioning state Central Committee meetings.
Why is that? Why do youneed thirty days? Well, it's
it's hard to move forward for credentialingpurposes, making sure that people. We
also have Tom yorklen R, StateTreasurer, who is actually in charge of

(08:28):
all of that. He is outof pocket as well as Dave Williams is
out of pocket, so you know, to be fair, Dave Williams is
also having his fourth child that isgoing to be delivered August twentieth, so
this is his fourth child. Itcould be delivered early. So what we
are asking is a little bit ofyou know, empathy from those individuals that

(08:52):
really are trying to you know, bulldoze this right through. We really want
to have some time, example, from both sides, collect their data,
their exhibits, and so that waythey have time to be able to properly
defend themselves, you know. Sothat is actually why okay, could do

(09:13):
you have time to stand for anothersegment to talk about how we're going to
win these elections in the fall andkind of what the GOP plan is statewide
to help our candidates. Great, absolutely, all right, So we're going
to take a break. This isHeidi Ganal here in for Dan Caplis,
who's celebrating his winning anniversary over inSwitzerland, and we'll be back to talk
to Hope some more, and nowback to the Dan Caplis Show podcast.

(09:39):
Good afternoon, This is Heidi Ganalfilling in for Dan Caplis. I've got
Hope Shuffleman with me. Hope,I hope, no pun intended. I
hope we can talk about the futureof our state GOP in that we need
to be prepared to win elections again. And when I ran for governor,
I didn't not get a lot ofsupport from the state Party. In fact,

(10:03):
I got zero dollars from the stateParty. Obviously, they did a
decent job of putting out press releasesand you know, trying to get people
riled up, and it was adifferent leadership team. But one of the
things that just god, it madeso just disheartened was the lack of coordination
and effort to help our candidates. So we've got some very critical congressional races

(10:24):
in Colorado, we've got to preventa super majority at the Capitol in Denver,
and we've got to elect Donald J. Trump as our president. So
what is this state GOP plan tohelp all those things happen? Right,
So you hit the nail on thehead. So the big thing I want
to talk a little bit about. Is the energy that we saw at the
r and State convention, right, there was so much energy in the point

(10:50):
and the main, the main targetthat we talked about is to unify,
to come together and unify, rightthat it was the big word for the
Republican Party and we need to dothat. And the only way that we
can do that is if we cometogether as Republicans here in Colorado with all
sixty four counties working together to help. If that stated, we have raised

(11:18):
a lot of money with small donorsevery monthly coming in for first and foremost.
We definitely have some money set asidefor those critical races. Would can
you tell us so much? Ipromp the Yorkland and want to be actually
probably the best person or treasure toidentify that. I don't have those numbers
on hand, I hope. Yeah. Are you focusing on specific races,

(11:41):
like are there races that are goingto get help and others are not?
How are you how are you approachingthat? Well, Look, there are
definitely critical races that we are goingto be focusing on, definitely congressional races,
and there's definitely races within the stateHouse and are not the Senate,

(12:03):
but basically the House. We havetargeted at least twelve to fourteen races that
we are going to be focusing on. How I am working with those candidates
is we are going to be havinga zoom meeting on this. I mean
we are going to be getting toto try to feel what they are from
their campaigns, what they need, what messaging we can put out, Any

(12:24):
mailers that we can do, meaningemails, anything we can do to get
out the vote. We have agreat app that we can utilize right now.
It's called Neumnar that has been helpingus get out the vote for the
primary. It works amazingly well.I utilize it here in Laplata County and

(12:45):
they have really good data. Sowhat I'm trying to do is work with
the campaigns to try to find outwhat they need and any type of resources
we can give them as well.I'm not looking at just the critical races.
I'm looking all the way down ballot. We have roughly around a little
over two hundred candidates that we havewe're putting on our website so that way

(13:07):
we can kind of move that towardsour website. People can look at them,
click on their websites, donate tothem. We're going to be really
getting out the vote. But problematically, right now, Heidi, I'm going
to be honest with you, allmy time is being vested in this crazy
thing that is happening right now withColorado and the infighting. So I cannot

(13:28):
focus on candidates when we're doing allthis infighting. Hew, who else is
on your team? Like? Whatother people are there to help with the
candidates and building this team of peopleto help two hundred candidates across the state?
Is it just you, Dave andTom? Are there other people?
We have a handful of other individualsthat are not being paid at all.
I would have to say it's justa handful of us that are really working.

(13:52):
So we cannot do this alone. We need every single county to be
unified work on this together. AndI mean on the other project that I'm
working on, the Road to Redproject, we're working with small grassroots groups
all over Colorado and they're getting organized, they're getting you know, they're growing,
they're getting stronger, they're getting readyfor the election this fall, and

(14:13):
county gops are part of that. And I do have to give kudos to
so many county GOP leaders are justkind of ignoring what's going on with all
the infighting and the statewide stuff andjust doing the work and rolling up their
sleeves and making it happen. Sothat is a positive. But hope,
it's so hard for us to talkabout unity when the chair of the GOP

(14:33):
picked winners and losers and a lotof And I agree that. I mean,
I understand that that was voted onby the committee to do that,
but it just set the tone goingforward. So what do you say to
those people who weren't picked by theGOP to be endorsed that you want unity
now? Like, how do youbring them back into the fold and get
their trust back? Right? AndI do understand that, and that is

(14:56):
something that we're going to take backand really look at and refocus. Right.
Obviously it was not something that wewere hoping for. But just so
that way everybody is aware that thisis we bought this forward to be transparent.
In previous administrations, they've done thisin the background. You know,

(15:18):
they picked their candidates. Like youjust said, Heidi, from the very
beginning, you said that you didn'tget money, you didn't get the support
from the previous. Well, wehave information that you know it was done
in the background. People were doingthis in the background. Yeah, and
that does happen. I agree,And I mean even a member of the

(15:39):
state party was trying to primary meetwith somebody. It was crazy. Yep.
And so I understand that we're justtrying to have open and honest conversations.
Look, but assassination attempt on PresidentDonald Trump, I think we can
all understand that. Yes, wedo make mis We tried to shift it

(16:00):
in a different area to bring itto light, to say, hey,
these are the candidates we wanted torun. Unfortunately it didn't work out.
Everybody didn't jump on board. That'sunderstandable because of Republicans are independent thinkers.
We understand that. But look,we need to now stop the fighting from
the primary and loove forward into thegeneral. We don't have an amazing opportunity

(16:22):
right now. They are picking KamalaHarris, they are circling the wagon.
We don't have a lot of timelifts. So I want to ask a
question, so how are you pickingwhich candidates to help and support? Again,
those are the critical races that werechosen, and they were emailed out
by oh well, by data peoplewithin the actual party itself. So are

(16:45):
you aligned with Rose, Pagleci andPaul Lundan? Like, does everybody marching
in the right direction, the samedirection on which candidates have an opportunity to
win and we should focus on.We will look at all of those two
plus candidates and look at those races, and you know which races that we
can actually want we can pick upseats now. But do you know who

(17:07):
those races are? Now? Wedo, and we have sent those actual
people out those emails and they areaware of the critical races. Do you
have a list of those so thatso that we across the state of Colorado
know where to focus our energy. And really, you know, I'm worried
that I just don't understand how theywere selected the races, and I want

(17:29):
to make sure that we are alignedwith Rose and with Paul. Everybody's marching
in the same direction, We're focusedon the same the same exact races.
You you you are absolutely right,Heidi. And we did send those emails
out so those candidates know exactly whichones are in the critical races. We
don't want to show our hands obviouslyto the Democrat Party to let them know

(17:51):
hate. These are our critical races, but those candidates are definitely aware and
again they will be having We've gotto run, We've got to take a
break. But I so appreciate youcoming on and we will do our best
to help unify the party and winsome elections. You're listening to the Dan
Kaplis Show podcast. If she askedyou to be her running mate, would

(18:14):
you accept? Well, Danna,we're not even there, Dan, I
appreciate the question. I love thejob I'm doing. You know, I
love Colorado. It's great. Obviouslyif somebody asks, I take a serious
look at it. But my phonehasn't run yet. Look if they do
the polling and it turns out thatthey need a forty nine year old bald
engay jew from Boulder, Colorado, they got my number. Oh Lordie,

(18:38):
please don't let that happen. Whatwas that line? Oh he's such a
dork. Oh my gosh, yetDana Bash laughing on CNN. They were
asking him, Heidi, if youknow if Kamala Harris gives you the call
and wants you to be her runningmate, and he says, look,
if they do the polling and itturns out that they need a forty nine
year old bald and gay Jew fromBoulder, Colorado. They got my number.

(19:02):
Well, you know, I thinkKamal is gonna lose, So take
take Polis with her, take itor take him out of Colorado and let
him fail miserably and never be presidentever, ever, ever. And that's
the thing too. Heidie and Ihave discussed this, whether it's Polis or
Newsom or Gretchen Whitmer or even JoshShapiro. Right now, these governors,
right they're on the outside looking in. Why would they attach themselves to this

(19:23):
sinking ship that they know is mostlikely to lose. Just wait it out
twenty twenty eight. There's no Trumpin twenty eight. It's wide open field
on both sides. I think anyadvisor you've been in this situation before would
tell you, don't get in thisright now, don't get anywhere near it.
Just wait for twenty eight. Right. Yeah. A lot of people
told me that about taking on Polisin twenty two, but I couldn't let

(19:45):
him get away with not being heldaccountable. I mean, I just I
was like, guys, just destroyingour state. Somebody's got to take one
for the team and go for itand just see if we can knock them
off. And unfortunately, our stateis paying dearly for the idea that people
thought he was libertarian ish and freedomliving. The libertarian myth about Jared Poulis

(20:07):
is the one that cracks me upmost of all. This is a guy
who told us wear a damn mask. Yeah, and you selfish bastard's not
getting a vaccine or wearing a mask. And you know, he treated us
like absolute crap, like his truecolors showed, I believe during COVID well
and they're still showing. I mean, he's grown the size of government dramatically
in Colorado. Back when I hadthe stats when I was running, it

(20:30):
was, you know, forty percent. It was ridiculous. We have so
many more bureaucrats and layers of bureaucracy, and it's so much harder to run
a business. And it's just thelist goes on and on. I'm preaching
to the choir with this listening audience, but I want to bring on someone
to continue the conversation that we werehaving with Hope about the future of our

(20:51):
party and how we get things backon track. I'm going to talk to
Todd Watkins in about ten minutes aboutthat or maybe six minutes. So I
wanted to give Britta Horn a chanceto speak about what she sees. She's
been on the front lines for along time. She ran for Treasure.
She's a fire chief. She knowshow to put out fires. So Britta,
if you're there, tell me howyou'd put out this fire. Britta

(21:17):
Horn, are you there, myfriend, my fire chief. Oh it's
Todd. We've got Todd on.I'm so sorry, Todd, I got
my people mixed up. All right, So Todd, thank you so much
for coming on. I don't knowif you heard the conversation with Hope,
but I'd like you to tell usa little bit about how this meeting came
about Saturday and what you guys areup to. So this begins with,

(21:41):
you know, the chairman running forCongress while sitting as a state coop chair.
I was very concerned when he initiallyannounced that it would turn into very
obvious and gross conflict of interest. And no sooner did he announce that he

(22:03):
proved all of that true. Ithink it's pretty clear that he's sitting as
the chair, he used the resourcesand in all of the uh, you
know, the the energy and theand the mechanisms of the state Party to
benefit his own campaign and the campaignsof a few of his closest confederates in
contested primaries. Not only did hepromote himself and others using the state party

(22:27):
to do this, he attacked otherRepublican candidates. By the way, the
candidates that he attacked with one whowon, I'm highly doubtful that they have
a lot of faith in the stateParty right now that they are going to
help them win those seats, winnableseats flippable seats in this state. So

(22:48):
your answer to Britta Horn, I'llanswer for the way you put this fire
out is you get a new fireteam in there, Todd. Party leadership
has failed. Todd, you're thevice chair of El Paso County GOP right
now, correct, I am,yeah, So Todd, how did this
come about because you were I mean, your team, Dave and so is

(23:11):
it just the fact that he ranand didn't resign. Is that what let
you up and put you on thispath? Well, I mean, I
mean that's what That's what starts it. Right then it was the obvious use
of resources for his own benefit. It became clear to me that I think
the reason that he sought the chairwas to use the party resources to get

(23:33):
himself into that office. It's notthe first time he's run for so Todd.
For me, it's it's ethics,it's character, and it's the performance
of running this organization, which heis he has failed grotesquely at. It
has precious little to do with politicalideology or political worldview. So Todd,

(23:53):
tell me what's happening Saturday. What'swhat is your outcome that you're trying to
get to. Well, we're goingto vote to remove the chairman and immediately
elect a new chairman right there, fill the and fill that vacancy. It
is also quite possible that motions willbe made to remove the entire state party

(24:18):
leadership. That's probably on the table. I'm not going to be surprised if
that happens. So I hear there'slegal bantering going back and forth. What's
your take on the legalities of what'shappening. Do you feel like you have
a strong leg to stand on oris this potentially going to get shut down?
No, we're one hundred percent legalon this are our movement is the

(24:44):
only one that has stayed the coursethe state party has called a meeting to
try and get ahead of it andget behind it. Then they canceled it,
and then they held it under abridge in a park in Bayfield to
try to, you know, pullsome sort of parliamentary gimmick. None of
it answers the request. We followedthe bylaws to the letter on them.
So what do you think is goingto happen if you guys vote sixty percent

(25:06):
of the Central Committee, two hundredand forty nine people there and with proxies
vote to Als, Dave and potentiallythe other folks on the on the leadership
team, are they going to stepback? Is this going to be keep
us tangled up in a lawsuit throughthe election, which is not good for
our party. No? I thinkthis is going to go to the RNC.

(25:26):
I believe that my county helped provethe President that courts will not get
involved in these intra party squabbles. So the Republican County, the Republican National
Committee would decide if there is adispute, yeah, be like like Michigan,

(25:47):
Okay, So they could say weare siding with this group of people
who voted this way this Saturday. The twenty seventh and a Dave, you're
out. The new people are inthe end. Or they could say,
Nope, we're going to let thisplay out. We're going to have the
meeting on the thirty first and seewhat happens there. Well, why would
I would say that the meeting onthe thirty first would being moot if the

(26:10):
Central Committee met and made that decisionas the Central Committee on the twenty seven.
It's the same people, Okayral Committeeis the Central Committee that Dave,
Dave and Hope ban Anna don't determinethe Central Committee. All right, I
got it. There's lots of argumentback and forth on all of this.
Thank you Todd so much for weighingin and on short notice. I appreciate
it. And let's see how thingsplay out on Saturday. The meetings at

(26:33):
nine o'clock in Brighton, and we'llbe interested to hear. We'll be reporting
on Rockymountain Voice dot com. We'llbe there covering it so you can check
it out there. Thanks so much. This is Heidi Ganal filling in for
Dan Kaples. You got me allriled up about polus Ryan, so I
switched my guests. But we'll haveBritta Horn when we get back and now
back to the Dan Kapless Show podcast. Well, good evening, Colorado.

(26:56):
It's Heidi Ganal filling in for Dancap List. I'm really excited to have
Britta Horn on with me. Britahas been a friend for a long time.
She's a fire chief, she's goodat putting out fires, and boy
do we have one with the ColoradoGOP. Britta, welcome to the show.
Thanks for having me. Heidi. You know you've been on the front
lines of politics for a long time. We've been hanging out at GOP meetings

(27:19):
for years together. I want tohear your take on what's happening right now
and how we can potentially get thingsback on tracks. We can focus on
winning elections in just over one hundreddays. It's time for a change.
We need to make sure we getthat change. And because of that,
I'm stepping up. I'm raising myhand and I'm running for the state GOP
chair when it becomes available this weekend. And I had tip to Todd because

(27:41):
he definitely was saying, we dohave a fire to put out because we
have a problem. We don't havethe support or the funding of the plan
for our Republican candidates to win,and we need a battle plan to get
the candidates across the finish line onNovember fifth, which is one hundred and
five days away from today. AndI had that big read toolbox sued with
skills and tactics and people to meetthe needs to support our candidates and unite

(28:06):
the party. That's why I'm puttingmy name in the hats. So,
Britta, I think the key,one of the one of the key things
we've got to do is raise alot of money. Right that was been
a huge problem for many people runningfor office in the last few years.
And as I said in the previoussession, I didn't get a dime from
the card to GOP as the governorcandidate for the state and so. And

(28:27):
that was under different leadership. Thatwas Christy Burton Brown running the party,
and she had her reasons for doingthat. And I'm not sure which candidates
got the funding. And I triedto ask, Hope, which candidates are
going to get the funding that themoney that they're raising right now, I
think they've got a plan and they'vegot some key races, but I'm not
sure how they picked those races. So how are you going to approach the

(28:48):
money side of the equation. Well, it's absolutely the first piece they have
to do. You have to havea robot robost fundraising. And I was
told when we were at the Rand C convention together back in last week
in Milwaukee that I was been toldby many people that I had to skill
set for fundraising and that they're willingto open their checkbooks and doors if I'm
their chair. So I'm willing todo that and make that promise because that's

(29:11):
what's not happening. There's not alot of individual money coming. There's not
a lot of money coming from differentgroups. And I'm also heard, you
know, through the Brave line thatthere's a lot of R and T money's
not coming in either the doors areshut and the check books are shut and
waiting for change. So the latestpolls that I've seen, and this was
before I believe it was before Bidenstepped down. I'm not sure if it

(29:33):
was after the assassination attempt, Coloradowas within a couple points. It was
in play for Donald Trump. Thatsounds a little overly optimistic, but let's
say it's true. That has tolead to winds down ballot too, so
that we prevent a super majority atthe Capitol. We get John Fabricatory and
Gabe and both Jeffs and Lauren everybodyacross the finish line, so that we

(29:57):
hold the House. So what isyour plan on activating these certain races?
Are you going to focus if you'reelected chair and things go down this weekend?
I mean, we've got to assumea lot of things in order to
that happen. But what is yourplan to help candidates? Like, how
are you going to pick and choose? How are you going to allocate resources?
Well, I think it's exactly whatyou know. Another piece on my

(30:18):
platform is really effectively supporting our candidates, and they're not receiving the data that
they need or the book volunteering thatthey need. So I've been talking to
a lot of different data companies andthey're waiting for the successful transition this weekend.
And then there's networks volunteers around thestate that can join in and unite
and get this party to work.So these pieces are there and they just

(30:41):
need to be activated, and I'mjust we're not seeing that happen. There's
not been adapt focused. There's youknow, we talk about strategic long term
plans and operational plans and even quickbattle plans and when we need to adapt
and pivot and overcome all of them. And how do you did you know
that the balance drop on October eighteenth, that's eighty eight days away. Yeah,

(31:02):
that's eighty eight days. And herewe are messing around, having meetings
and figuring out who our chair is, who our leadership is, which candidates
we're going to support. And youknow, I think I wish this wasn't
happening right now. I wish wewere all focused on winning elections eighty eight
days from now. But let's getit done. Let's get it resolved.
If the vote doesn't go the waythat you and Todd and some others want

(31:26):
on Saturday, are you guys goingto stand down? Are you going to
put another push for August thirty first? What is that going to look like?
And I think that's something that's stillon the table. We're going to
be figuring out as we watch Saturday, I'm told, but I know there's
no way we can stand out.And You're absolutely right. We are within
the margin of error for winning forTrump and our President Trump, which we
want as our candidates, and soto get those down ballot people. We

(31:48):
need to get the booths on theground working. You know. I was
talking to one of the CD candidatesand looking for support and getting a support
and he made a joke about ita couple of days ago. He said,
He's like, you know, thewhole party and the whole state party
and what's going on with the GOP. He's called it a dumpster fire.
And I said, a dumpster fire. I wish it was a dumpster fire.

(32:09):
And he's laughing. He goes, what do you mean, Because a
dumpster fire, you just show up, roll in surrounding ground, you put
the fire out. This is amuch bigger situation. This is a wildfire
so complex with all these different layerstopography. You have division a division z
division Zulu, and you have allthese different resources coming in, you know,

(32:30):
like bulldozers and shame people, chainsawsand people with shovels, and somebody
needs to coordinate all of that andturn that into a campaign that you know,
we can win for the state andturn everybody into knocking doors, you
know, put our making phone callsor riding postcards. We've got to get
a plan together, and I'm justnot seeing what the party right now?

(32:52):
Well, I talked about this yesterday. There is an app that everybody can
download. It's Turning Point Action TPaction. Hoope talked about one to the
the State Party uses and I'm happyto put that information out to Hope.
But TP action is so simple. It's free, You download it, you
sign up, and all of asudden you've got voter data there. You
can do it from your couch. You can write postcards, you can text,

(33:12):
you can call, you can doorknockif you want to. And it's
got scripts in there, so there'sno excuses. Everybody doesn't have to wait
around to figure out what's happening withthe State Party. They can get busy
right now, eighty eight days away. And we talked to a great candidate,
John Fabricatory earlier. That's one candidatethat everybody could get on board,
download the app and start door knockingand calling for So, Britta, thank

(33:35):
you for coming on. I knowyou have a great passion and love for
this state and let's see what happensSaturday. I would ask the same thing
of both sides. If Dave doesn'thave the votes to stay chair, will
he step back? And if hedoes have the votes. Will everybody else
step back and talk Todd and thoseguys so we can get some peace,
move on and get back to winningelections no matter what happens. But I

(33:57):
know you don't have the answer there. Thanks for coming on. Thanks every
buddy for a great couple hours here. It's been wonderful sharing some time with
you and some stories. And Ryan, thanks for your weighing in. I
will see you on Friday. Thisis Heidigan All yes, stepping in for
Dan Kaplas have a great day.
