Speaker 1 (00:00):

edition of The Dan Caplis Show. Please be sure to
give us a five star rating if you'd be so kind,
and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. One of the
biggest mistakes in American political history. Thank you, thank you,
thank you, thank you Lord, Thank you, Kamala Harris, Thank you,
(00:24):
Kamala Harris for this ginormous mistake which is going to
undermine your campaign.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Now.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Lots of other things we're going to undermine her campaign,
but fortunately it undermines her campaign right now. Because even
if Walls turns out to be good, and he won't,
he's not Josh Shapiro. And that's why I've been predicting all along, Okay,
and you know said it the day they did post Biden,
which I had predicted that. Okay, Kamala Harris, she's going
to rise in the polls. She's going to be above
(00:51):
Trump in the polls for a while, and then she's
going to keep rising. She's going to keep rising through
the VP pick because it's going to be Josh Shapiro,
and then she'll probably rise through the convention, and then
once it turns down, there's not going to be anything
there to stop it from falling and falling and falling.
But look at this gift that she just gave the
(01:14):
Trump campaign and by extension, all of America, because it
is far better for America that Trump win. And why
did she make this big mistake? Well, I believe she
made this big mistake out of insecurity and her own weakness,
same reason that Obama picked Biden and Biden picked her.
Obama and Biden wanted somebody so much worse than they
(01:36):
were that nobody would ever want the VP instead of them.
Obama Biden wanted somebody so much worse than they were
that it would make them look better. That's exactly what
Kamala wanted to do here. She didn't want a Josh Shapiro,
who is a star. Now he's wrong on all the
big issues, but he's a five tool player and he's
(01:57):
a star. She didn't want Mark Kelly. He's a star,
he's up three and a half to four tool player,
but compared to her, he's the greatest player to ever live.
He's a star. She didn't want one of those two
guys who just diminishes her, makes her look bad, highlights
how weak she is. She wanted the weakest she could
(02:18):
find and get away with, and that's what she did
with Walls. And that is a gift. And you know
it's not just me saying it. Listen to Van Jones,
this is on CNN, and he calls it out for
what it is. He calls it out for the Hamas
wing of the party, the anti Semitism.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Think it was a little risky, though, man, that she
didn't go with Shapira to kind of lock down Pennsylvanian. Yes,
David Showling was saying earlier, just because you pick him
as your running mate doesn't mean you automatically win Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
But I got to think it would have helped just
a little bit.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Hey, listen, I think the Conservatives, the right wing, the Republicans,
they were chewing their fingernails down to the knuckle because
they were afraid of a Josh Shapiro. They're afraid of
Mark Kelly. They're not as afraid of this new governor
because they think they can define.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Him afraid of them. It's a gift, because my dead
dog could define him in his own works. I mean,
how do you not define a guy. And these are
recent quotes. Ryan, These are recent quotes, like within the
last few weeks. On one of them where he's praising socialism, Oh,
it's just a form of neighbor being a good neighbor.
And then he's talking about buying a ladder factory to
(03:27):
help people get over the border wall. This is not
hard to define.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Here's the challenge you've got in this party, and people
don't want to talk about it.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
We got to talk about it.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
On the one hand, you have a lot of young
people who are concerned about Gaza. You have a lot
of Muslims and Arabs and others they had not felt
seen by the Biden administration. You start started hearing that
genocide Joe, that was building, that was building, and so
those folks needed to have a candidate that they could
feel comfortable with. This helps them in that regard. But
you also have anti Semitism that has gotten more horribled
(04:00):
into this party.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
You can be for.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
The Palestinians without being an anti Jewish bigot, but there
are some anti Jewish figures out there, and there's some
disquiet now and there has to be how much of
what just happened is caving into some of these darker
parts in the party.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
So that's going to happen. That's Van Jones saying, that's
why Shapiro wasn't picked. They gave into the anti Semites.
And think about that and the fact now that this
is going to undermine this Democrat ticket. And there were
plenty of other things too, But that is good and
that is just, and that'll be a clear and long
lasting message to the Democratic Party that this anti semitism,
(04:42):
this anti semitism is going to poison you, it's going
to defeat you. And then look what MSNBC did. Okay,
that's CNN. MSNBC rolled. They're Polster out there to make
the point that Walls is not going to help the
Heris ticket with white working voters across Wisconsin and Michigan
(05:05):
and Pennsylvania. He's not going to help there. And how
do they know that, because those white working class voters
have not supported him in any kind of impressive numbers.
So it's the suburban areas, the.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
Metropolitan areas that have gotten much more blue, and Walls
performed just like Biden did better than Clinton did, and
in places like this, and then in the rest of
Greater Minnesota, small town Minnesota, where the Democrats have been
losing ground, Walls performed basically just like Biden did as well.
So you know, look at his electoral history. Tim Walls
(05:39):
is in twenty twenty two, and the idea that he's
got this automatic appeal with these small town areas in
those three key battleground states, you don't see it in
what he actually did on the ballot in twenty twenty two.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
And there's only one reason MSNBC runs that today, right,
and that's because they're already trying to run him out.
They know that Harris completely blew it when she did
not pick Shapiro or Kelly, and they're trying to run
this guy out before the convention or at the convention.
But they're trying to run him out or else. They
do not run that now, Now, why do you think
(06:14):
they're trying to run him out? The guy I was
predicting all along would be your VP pick, Josh Shapiro Pennsylvania.
Democrats can't win without Pennsylvania. Hard for Republicans too, but
Democrats can't win without it. Shapiro won by big margins
in Pennsylvania. I think he's wrong on all the big issues.
But he is a uber talented guy. And here's the
(06:36):
speech he gave. Here's the speech he gave today introducing
introducing Kamala Harrison Wallace. And as I was telling you earlier, Ryan,
this is Shapiro unmistakably sending the message to Harris and
the cabal and the Democratic Party that you made a really,
really big mistake in passing me up.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
He was that good, are you ready to build an
America where no matter what you look like, where you
come from, who you love, or who you prank.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
You that this will be a place for you?
Speaker 6 (07:13):
And are you ready to look the next president of
the United States Indy eye and say hello, Madam President.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yes, So they pass on this guy governor of Pennsylvania
with all those Electoral College votes for kind of a
carnival Barker far left Bernie Sanders mini me in a
non swing state, as President Trump tweeted out or social
truth out afterwards, thank you, thank you, thank you. And
(07:46):
in the next segment we'll get to some of the
greatest hits from Walls and they are bizarre, praising socialism,
offering to buy landers to help you legals get over
the wall at the border textures. This from our friend Alexa.
The fake call between Kamala and Wallace's cringe times one
thousand barf. At least she did not hold the phone
up to her ear while he is on speaker. Dan,
(08:07):
I hope Kamala keeps her sugar high until after the convention.
A great point. Obviously, Trump knocked Biden out too early.
But listen, Harris is locked in as the nominee right now.
Even if she starts, and she won't start plummeting before
the convention. I'd be thrilled if we saw her level
out before the convention. And this may help today. I'm
(08:29):
assuming that she's going to keep rising until after the convention,
and once the fall starts, it's not going to stop.
Dan Ryan Brownie points for Billy Joels Allentown. That from Alexa.
Dan Tim Wallas is responsible for putting every Minnesota out
of work during COVID. Yeah, we'll get to that in
some sound in the next and then I read this
(08:51):
one earlier, but I want to mention again, Dan, how
many people are at that rally. Lots? And as I
said before, she is going to draw big crowds. At
least for now, there's a lot of excitement about her
among the hard left and among some young Hey, she's
not Joe Biden, she's a younger candidate. You'd say she
can string two sentences together at least better than Biden.
(09:13):
But obviously there's a reason. It's what fifteen days now, Ryan,
and they won't let her speak. They let her speak
off prompter for thirty seconds and that did not go well.
But yeah, she is going to get big crowds. The
question is, well, Hillary Clinton got big crowds from beginning
to end. But the question is, well, she'd be able
to hold those crowds after the poll numbers start to drop.
(09:34):
And then I want to get to some of these
other texts as well. So when we come back, what
you're going to hear is this Tim Walls, in his
own words, saying these bizarre, goofy far left things that
work if you're governor of a left leaning state, Minnesota,
and all you have to do is please the uber
lefties in these big cities. But when you get out
(09:55):
into America, Nah, all of this sudden, the guy can
talk real well, but all of a sudden he's going
to look like a carnival barker. People have no interest
in here in the Dan Capla.
Speaker 7 (10:04):
Show and now back to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Hi, this is Jim. It's Kamala Harris.
Speaker 8 (10:12):
Good morning, Governor.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Good morning, Madam Vice President.
Speaker 8 (10:17):
Listen, I want you to do this with me.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Let's do this together.
Speaker 8 (10:21):
Would you be my running mate and let's get this
thing on the road.
Speaker 9 (10:26):
I would be honored, Madam Vice President, the joy that
you're bringing back to the country, the enthusiasm that's out there.
Speaker 10 (10:33):
You'll be a privilege to take this with you across
the country.
Speaker 8 (10:36):
Well, let me tell you, I have just a most
respect for you. I have really enjoyed our work together.
You understand our country. You have dedicated yourself to our
country in so many different and beautiful ways.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
And we're gonna do this.
Speaker 8 (10:50):
We're gonna win, and we're going to unify our country
and remind everyone that we are fighting for the future
for everyone.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
So let's get out there and get this done. Okay,
let's do it.
Speaker 7 (11:01):
Do to work in front of us.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Let's win this thing. That's right, all right.
Speaker 8 (11:04):
Body, I'll see some take care, thank you.
Speaker 11 (11:07):
Okay, But.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
I see what Alexo was saying. But it's interesting, right,
how they're marketing people now, are trying to make her
goofiness into joy. So when you look at Kamala Harris
and you say, boy, is there something wrong? There is
there some added enjoyment of life in some way? And no, no, no,
(11:30):
they want you to look at all of that is joy. Yeah.
I don't think the American people are very joyful about
what her administration has done. I don't think they're going
to be very joyful when they actually get her off script.
I don't think they're going to be very joyful when
they see the truth about this guy, Tim Walls. But
(11:51):
my goodness, I am so very grateful eight five five
for zero five eight two five five the number to
think she could have d Josh Shapiro governor of Pennsylvania,
and how much stronger that ticket would be. But as
we go back to the sound and go back to
the text, I want to raise a point that you're
not hearing anywhere else, and I think you're going to
agree it's obviously true this texture says Dan Democrats called
(12:16):
Republicans racist when they didn't vote for Obama. Is Kamala
anti semitic for not selecting a Jewish running mate?
Speaker 5 (12:24):
You know?
Speaker 1 (12:24):
I think Van Jones said it. I don't think there's
any doubt that she did not pick Shapiro because he
is Jewish. I mean that's I think Van Jones was
clearly sending that message. Now, there is another reason she
might not pick Shapiro, and I talked about that earlier,
and that is her own insecurity. He is so good,
(12:45):
he is so impressive. Everybody with the brain would be
saying he should be the nominee, not her. Why don't
we have him?
Speaker 12 (12:52):
That?
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah, that may have played a part in it as well,
but I think Van Jones analysis and he's a Democrat
and he's plugged into all that. Hey, we've got this
pro Hamas wing of the party, we've got this antisemitic
part of the party, and there would have been pushback
if clearly the best candidate, now he's wrong in all
the big issues, but clearly the best candidate you know,
(13:13):
would have been selected in Josh Shapiro. And I do
want to play some more that Josh Shapiro sound. Can
you imagine if this had been the speech, if he
had been the pick, which if if she was doing
what would help her win the election, he would have
been Can you imagine if he had given this speech
today as the new VP nominee.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
Are you ready to build an America where no matter
what you look like, where you come from, who you love,
or who you pried, you that this will be a
place for you?
Speaker 13 (13:48):
And are you.
Speaker 6 (13:49):
Ready to look the next president of the United States
in the eye and say hello, madam President?
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Wow? Wow? There would have been a lot of upset
stomachs in a lot of Republican circles tonight if he
had been the pick as we all expected him to be. Right, So,
good job by President Trump just posting on social media
thank you, just those two words, thank you. And I
feel the exact same way. I want to get you
some sound because I'm sure you don't know anything about
(14:21):
this guy. Very few people do. And here he is
just recently praising socialism, comparing it to being a good neighbor.
Speaker 9 (14:30):
But we can get out there, reach out, make the case,
and for one thing, don't ever shy away from our
progressing values. One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yeah, I don't think that's going to well. We know
for a lot of working people in the Upper Midwest,
or a lot of people in the middle at all.
But this may even top that. Literally, as he talks
about investing in a ladder factory to help people get
across our.
Speaker 10 (14:56):
Border, and I think seeing a plan that out there
talking about it with folks, knowing that he's not going
to do anything. He talks about this wall, I always say,
let me know how high it is. If it's twenty
five feet, then I'll invest in the thirty foot ladder factory.
That's not how you stop this. Wow wow.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
And there is a lot more where that came from.
Speaker 14 (15:14):
Now.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
The Trump campaign has been doing a really good job
with its media, and I just hope they have enough
money too. They've got so many great hairspots to run,
but enough money to put this up there too, because
this will confirm how far left Harris is and how
awful her judgment is. There's a reason that she was
the least popular vice president or one of them in
modern American history, and this will confirm her bad judgment.
(15:39):
Here's a Trump ad on walls.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
What could be.
Speaker 12 (15:42):
Weirder than signing a bill into law that requires schools
to stop tampons in boys' bathrooms, or weirder than signing
legislation allowing miners to receive sex change operations. Try electing
the man who signed those bills vice President of the
United States. Enter H weirdo Tim Walls.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
As governor of Minnesota.
Speaker 13 (16:06):
Laws the quote of legislation bit in dangerous minors, herdswomen
and puts radical ideology ahead of common sense. Now Kamala
wants Walls to enforce those laws on a national scale.
Speaker 12 (16:21):
Tim Walls too weird, too radical.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Oh and there's a lot more where that came from.
So game plan, I want to play some more of
this Tim Walls sound so you can get to know
what's out there, and if you're wondering about him, you
can find out if you're looking for good, legitimate, honest ammo,
you can use to help persuade people, particularly people you
know in swing states. We can do that as well.
(16:45):
But getting to this, back to this texture, Ryan who
asks about wait a second, did she not pick him
because she's anti Semitic? I want to I want to
get into a related issue. And first of all, I
don't know if she's anti Semitic or not, but there's
no doubt in my mind that the fact there's a
(17:07):
big anti Semitic faction in the Democratic Party played into it,
a big pro Homas faction played into it, and then
obviously her own insecurities. But I want to apply that
same reasoning to Mark Kelly because we aren't talking a
lot about Mark Kelly today because all the focus has
been on Josh Shapiro, because Pennsylvania has a lot more
electoral votes than Arizona, and that's why Shapiro was an
(17:29):
obviously superior choice to Kelly. But Kelly's an infinitely superior
choice to Walls, and Arizona is a swing state. And Kelly,
former astronaut, etc. Who has been more for the Democratic Party,
quote moderate on immigration, would have been a great pick
for Harris in so many other ways. So just as
(17:51):
Shapiro's faith cost him in the Democratic Party, did Mark
Kelly's faiths him the nomination for VP? Because remember, Mark
Kelly is cathl and Kamala Harris has attacked Catholics in
unprecedented ways. I'll get to that next.
Speaker 7 (18:14):
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast.
Speaker 11 (18:17):
I have licenses for legal transgender surgeries for our kids,
BLM riots in our streets.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
This was Kamala Harris's first decision.
Speaker 11 (18:27):
As a presidential candidate Kamala is dangerously liberal.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
We just can't trust her. And there's so much more
where that came from. Hey, if you're just joining us,
thank you. Be careful if you're in the metro with
the heavy rain right now that's supposed to clear out.
But talking about the mistake by the lake, this enormous,
enormous mistake by Kamala Harris in choosing Minnesota Governor Tim Wallace,
(18:53):
and will he even make it to the convention and
ask that question, because hey, both CNN and msn have
gone after him today. Not everybody there. You've got plenty,
you know, who are doing the usual abow down thing.
But you've got Van Jones on CNN who just came
out and said it, Hey, Shapiro, was he denied because
(19:14):
he's Jewish? And we've got this pro Hamas anti Semitic
thing going on with parts of the Democratic part. And
then you had MSNBC and I'll play some of that
sound for you decide. Think about it. This didn't slip
on air. They had to plan this segment, research it
and run it. MSNBC running a segment making the point
that based upon based upon Waltz's performance in these two
(19:37):
big gugnatorial elections in Minnesota. He does not add anything
with white working people. He doesn't help you there in Minnesota,
which is not a swing state. Another crazy thing about
the selection. She could have had Josh Shapiro or Mark Kelly,
but he doesn't help you with white working people in
(19:57):
Wisconsin or Michigan or Pennsylvani So MSNBC goes out of
its way to make that point. So why are they
doing this today. I think one of the reasons they're
doing it is they know that she completely blew it
on every level when she passed on Josh Shapiro to
take him. Now, because of the Shapiro conversation, there hasn't
(20:17):
been a lot of conversation about Mark Kelly, because clearly
Shapiro's a better choice because you've got so many electoral
College votes in Pennsylvania, a lot more than you have
in Arizona. But also because Shapiro, Mark Kelly, and these
guys are both wrong on all the big issues. But
Shapiro's a five tool player, Kelly's probably a three and
a half or four tool player. But both far superior
(20:39):
to Walls, both from swing states, both are going to
help you beyond the swing states. So why does she
pass on Mark Kelly? And again that's not getting focused
because it was such a big blunder to not choose Shapiro.
But let's look at the Mark Kelly thing for a second,
because he would have helped her in so many obvious ways. Right,
Arizona is a case state right now, and the Democrats
(21:02):
probably need it badly the way things are shaping up.
And on top of that, you know, former astronaut etc.
Kelly's more quote moderate compared to the rest of the
Democrats on the border. He helps other places. But think
about it, why why doesn't she choose Kelly? Well, Kelly's Catholic,
and you look at how extremely opposed she has been
(21:25):
to core Catholic priorities and principles, and it is why
Catholic Vote calls her. Let me quote it right, Kamala's
VP picked Tim Walls, makes the most radical anti Catholic
presidential ticket in history, according to a post by Catholic
Vote Today. But think about this, Think about what she
(21:46):
did and how bizarre this is and what it reveals
about her. You had this nominee to the Federal Court,
who she is then questioning about his membership in Knights
of Columbus. And if you aren't familiar with Knights of Columbus,
that's just as good as it gets. These are just
dedicated Catholic men who serve. They're just out, they're engaging
(22:08):
in the nitty gritty work of public service. So she
goes after a judicial nominee for his membership in the
Knights of Columbus. That's just going after him because of
his Catholic faith. And it's not even a code thing,
it's a literal thing. She goes after him because of
his Catholic faith a judicial nominee. So it is at
(22:32):
least very fair to ask whether she passes on Mark
Kelly because of his Catholicism, And you know, it's one
of the many reasons. It's one of the many reasons.
Once we get through this sugar high phase, and this
disastrous picked by her today should bring that day closer.
Once we get through the sugar high. I think that
(22:53):
fall is never going to end because I think she's
going to lose the Catholic vote Bigley, and whoever wins
the Catholic vote normally wins the presidency. Almost every time.
I think she's going to lose it big. You know,
she picks Mark Kelly. It helps her in so many
different ways, including the Catholic vote. She picks Jos Shapiro obviously,
(23:14):
Eugen Pennsylvanian beyond so, as Donald Trump said in his
post today, thank you just be grateful for this enormous mistake.
And there are plenty on the left right now beyond
those I've mentioned to our criticizing it. And I'll work
some of those quotes in. I want to get to
some of our great Texters as well. But I have
got to get you in this segment if you just
joined us, some of the key sound that just instantly,
(23:38):
instantly shows you who this Tim Walls is. And they
talk about and you know this how political campaigns try
to define the opposition that isn't even necessary. Here Wals
defines himself, and he defines himself so far out of
the mainstream that he's going to become a major liability
in a hurry for her. How about this one praising socialism,
(24:01):
comparing it to being a good neighbor. And this was
just within the last few weeks.
Speaker 9 (24:07):
But we can get out there, reach out, make the case,
and for one thing, don't ever shy away fromrek progressive values.
One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Wow. Wow, And listen, when you're a governor of Minnesota
and you can win comfortably each time just by playing
to the hard hard left in your big urban areas
and you can just completely blow off working people and
people in rural areas, then you can say and believe
crazy stuff like that. But nationally, yeah, that's not going
(24:39):
to fly. Short off, and maybe this is what Harris
is trying to do, and the Cabal's trying to do.
Short of America just making a conscious decision that it
wants to become a socialist nation and you've got you've got.
Maybe that's a direct pitch right now that was intended
through this pick. Well, they'll never exactly use the S word,
et cetera. Maybe that's the dog whistle they're trying to
(25:03):
send out there to all those people who want America
to become a democratic socialist nation with redistribution of income, etc.
Maybe that is their pitch that ain't gonna fly, Nor
is this across party lines. Remember Ryan, you saw that
CBS poll sixty three percent I think it was, would
support mass deportations. And sheesus picked a guy who said
(25:26):
he will invest in a ladder factory to help I
legals get into the country.
Speaker 10 (25:31):
And I think seeing a plan that's out there talking
about it with folks, knowing that he's not going to
do anything. He talks about this wall, I always say,
let me know how hi it is. If it's twenty
five feet, then I'll invest in the thirty foot ladder factory.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
That's not how you stop this one. What a gift.
Let's get to some textures and there's a lot more
sound where that came from. Dan Walls win Tepstein island.
Obama has him in his pocket. I'm not aware of
any evidence whatsoever that Wall says any connection to Epstein.
And listen, there is so much legitimate stuff to go
(26:06):
after Walls. It would never be justified to go after
him and anything false to begin with. But there is
so much stuff in his own words on video. It's
like Kamala Harris, right, I mean Kamala Harris. Not only
is it in her own words, it's on video. Dan
Funny post on X that the only reason Tim Wallas
has picked is VP Satan was unavailable. No, I'm not
(26:28):
comparing this guy to Satan that that's not the point. Listen.
Walls was picked as VP in part because of Kamala
Harris's in security and a desire to have somebody worse
than she is, just like Obama picked Biden for that reason.
Obama wanted Biden so bad, so much worse than he was,
that nobody would ever want the VP instead of him,
(26:50):
and a VP who make them made him look good
by being so bad. Then Biden wanted to do the
same thing, so he got Kamala Harris. Nobody would ever
want Kamala Harris instead of him, and Kamala Harris was
so bad she made him look better. And that's why
Kamala Harris didn't want Shapiro didn't want Kelly because anybody
(27:10):
with a brain cell would say, hey, I'd rather have
Shapiro than Harris, or I'd rather have Kelly than Harris.
That's how she ends up with Walls. And then obviously
those considerations within the Democratic Party of the quote pushback
by the pro Hamas faction. Think about how screwed up
that is Dan Walls's evangelical lucern Listen, this goes back
(27:36):
to and I'm not judging that man based on his
faith or anything else. I'm just saying that he does
an awful lot of things that I believe are directly
contrary to core Christian principles and obviously Catholic principles and teachings.
But my point is, Kamala Harris is going to lose
the Catholic vote big, I believe, and whoever wins the
(27:56):
Catholic vote normally wins the presidency. Mark Kelly, highly accomplished
Catholic Arizona senator. She passes on him for walls. Yeah,
what do you think is behind that? Eight five five
zero five eight two five half the number? Hey, afterd
this break, we'll come back and we have some some
more in there, because there's going to be more great
(28:17):
Harris sound every day, right, because that's just who she is.
All those things that end up looking really bad for
her campaign when they show up on video. And then
some more about walls, and again I wonder is he
going to make it to the convention. You're on the
Dan Caplas.
Speaker 7 (28:32):
Show and now back to the Dan Kaeplis Show podcast.
Speaker 8 (28:37):
You know, we have to say woke, like everybody needs
to be woke, and you can talk about if you're
the wokest or wokeer.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Just stay more woke than less woke. Yeah, you know
what woke means. It means you're a loser.
Speaker 14 (28:54):
Everything woke, everything woke. It's true, everything woke turns to
s okay.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
It's true. It's gonna be so much fun. You know,
you know how when something's scary, like really scary. Because
if she was to win, and it's possible, it'd be
so awful for this nation. But it's gonna be so
(29:26):
much fun because is she and this Walls guy. They
are so obviously in their rewards on video, so obviously radical,
far left that there's going to be so much to
work with and try and educate people. Now, I understand
it's frustrating Harris is running the basement campaign, but eventually
I think Americans are going to catch on to that.
(29:48):
More importantly, they had three and a half years to
size her up, which is why she has such low
approval ratings. Now, Ryan, we have a number of Texters
who have said the same thing. You know, wait a second, Dan,
you know Kamala Harris is married to a Jewish person.
You're reaching to say she's anti Semitic. First, I've never
said she's anti Semitic ever, and I have not concluded that.
(30:09):
My point is anti semitism. Anti semitism played into Shapiro
not becoming the VP nominee. Clearly the best choice, right
major swing state, very talented, you know, but anti semitism.
Van Jones said it. This was Van Jones who said
it that that wait a second, they've got an anti
(30:32):
semitism problem in the Democratic Party and that hurt Shapiro.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Here, think it was a little risky the Van that
she didn't go with Shapiro to kind of lock down Pennsylvania. Yes,
David Twling was saying earlier, just because you pick him
as your running it doesn't mean you automatically win Pennsylvania.
But I got to think it would have helped just
a little bit.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
Hey, listen that the Conservatives, the right wing, the Republicans,
they were chewing their fingernails down to the knuckle because
they were afraid of a Josh Shapiro. They were afraid
of Mark Kelly. They're not as afraid of this new
governor because they think they can define him.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Not as afraid. He's a gift, he defines himself. Then
Jones talks about the fact that Democratic Party has an
anti Semitism problem.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
Here's the challenge you've got in this party, and people
don't want to talk about it. We got to talk
about it. On the one hand, you have a lot
of young people who are concerned about Gaza. You have
a lot of Muslims and Arabs and others. They have
not felt seen by the Biden administration. You started starting
hearing that genocide Joe, that was building, that was building,
and so those folks needed to have a candidate that
(31:34):
they could feel comfortable with. This helps them in that regard,
But you also have anti Semitism that has gotten marbled
into this party. You can be for the Palestinians without
being an anti Jewish bigot, but there are some anti
Jewish bigots out there, and there's some disquiet now and
there has to be how much of what just happened
(31:54):
is caving into some of these darker parts in the party,
And so that's going to have to get.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
To Stan Jones on CNN and think about it. This
anti Semitism, which is evil by definition, has now cost
the Democratic Party deeply. And listen, I think Harris was
likely to lose anyway, but this this pick of Walls,
you know, could if she does lose, as I believe
she will, cause her to lose by such larger margins
(32:21):
that it affects down ticket. Now, Ryan, I made the
observation to you as we were watching you know Harris,
when we played Little Sound. Harris and Walls appeared together today,
and I said beforehand, he's a good talker, right, But
the American people are smart about good talkers. They know
you got good talkers who are then they have the
right principles, they're great leaders. But the American people know
you have good talkers who are snake oil salesman. And
(32:42):
I think this guy is very soon going to be
exposed as a far left carnival barker. But my point, Ryan,
and tell me if you agree or disagree, is very quickly,
very quickly as he began to speak, and it's clear
he's a real good talker, infinitely better talker than her.
Often not always there was I would describe it as
(33:03):
at least a mildly angry look on her face, at
the very least unhappy. And you could see her standing
there saying no, saying you're not going to upstage me.
You're not going to outshine me. Don't be that good.
And his speech was relatively short to begin with. But
(33:24):
did you see the same thing.
Speaker 15 (33:25):
Well, I'll tell you who did Dan. That's Rich Lowry
of National Review. And this is why I sent this
to you, he said.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Quote.
Speaker 15 (33:30):
Judging by that rally, Tim Walls is definitely better at
this than Kamala Harris. He seems like a real person
with a sense of humor, who knows how to deliver
a line, rather than an artificial creation just reading a teleprompter.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Yeah, and she there were many times she did not
look happy with that, but just comes back to us.
We wrapped the show, and there were others on the
left who said this today. This comes back to listen.
There's a reason that she's gone from first to worst
in twenty twenty. She was at the head of the
pack through twenty thousand tour announcement and raised all this
(34:03):
money and then crashed and burned. She has horrible judgment.
She has these major flaws that cause things to fall apart.
There's a reason they haven't let her talk think about
this fifteen days now, and they've let her talk for
thirty seconds off script, and that didn't go well. This
just reflects so poorly on her judgment that it hurts
(34:23):
her in many many ways. So let's be thankful for that.
Great job. Brian Kelly, you're the best. Join us tomorrow
on The Dan Kapla Show
