Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Kaplis, and welcome to today's online podcast
edition of The Dank Caplis Show. Please be sure to
give us a five star rating if you'd be so kind,
and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. Just when you
think it can't possibly get any better, it does. What
are we talk We're talking about my marriage? Huh, we're
(00:21):
talking about this radio show. We could be, but right
now we happen to be talking about this presdential race.
And think about it. What do we have Ryan, forty
what days to go?
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Now?
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Forty three? Now, my lord, can you imagine by the
time we get to the actual stretch run, like mid October,
the left their heads will have literally exploded, exploded. And
then the only question is what regenerates, what grows back
in place of their heads? Because this thing just keeps
getting more and more whack. But it's doing exactly what
(00:53):
we said it would do. Right, It's trending toward Trump
and in some ways trending toward Trump. Hih. And then
what's the left going to do next? I mean, some
of the stuff we have to tell you about today
is just whack. I mean, some of it nobody could
have seen coming. Other parts of it, yeah, we could
see it coming. But where does it end? And the
(01:15):
big over arc is, you know do they do? They
just force Biden out of the presidency and insert her.
And if they're going to do that, they've got to
do it probably sometime in the next ten days or
so to get the full effect of it, because right
now she is trending into oblivion eight five five for
zero five A two five five the number takes d
A N five seven seven three nine. Last thing I
(01:39):
ever want to do is start one of these shows
by saying I told you so, right, because nobody likes
to hear that from anybody except themselves. But what happened
after that first debate said, no, man, Yeah he missed
a lot of chances. He could have done a lot better,
but he's still won if you define win by do
(01:59):
what you have to do to the presidency. And yeah,
she looked better than expectations because ABC just bubble wrapped her,
but she lost because she didn't do what she needed
to win the presidency and that was her one shot.
That's why she was begging for another debate. So after
that I came out and said no, please, President Trump,
don't do it. Don't do it, don't do it. And
(02:20):
now it's official. She is out there and she will
be banging this drump until long after votes are counted,
because it's the only chance she has. Do you think
Trump will give in? Do you think he should? Here's
the latest summer. It's one of those tracks where there's
some chopper stuff in the background. Say, you have to
listen carefully, join me on the debate, shavee, Let's have
another debate.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
There's more to talk about, and the voters of America deserve.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Thy Here, wait a second, more to talk about that.
Voters of America deserve to hear. Why didn't you talk
about it the first time? Why did you use your
time baiting him with stuff like, oh, your rallies are
small and people walk out of your rallies early, and
your rallies are boring. Well, if there's so much more
(03:05):
to talk about, why didn't you talk about it? Then?
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Conversation that I think we should be having on sets.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
There's on issues, on policies, what's your plan, what's my plan?
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Well, then, why didn't you do it the first time?
You refused four different times to answer question, Okay, how
will you be different than Biden on the border? Are
Americans better off than they were four years ago? You
had every opportunity to talk about how you'd be different
than Biden, which you won't be, just worse, believe it
or not. And to talk about why you've changed your positions,
(03:36):
which you really haven't. You're just trying to hide the truth,
and you chose not to. And one of the reasons
you chose not to is is you're living a lie. Politically.
You had your chance and you blew it, and we
should have another one before elections. The Yeah, because it's
at this point it's probably the only way she can win,
right Well, there are two ways she can win, right Ryan.
(03:57):
She can win either by having a second debate where
she can answer these big questions the American people need answered,
though she doesn't really have good answers to those. The
other way she can win is the way that really
the only way she's had to win from the day
she was installed, and that is Trump blowing it. She's
never gonna win. He has to lose. And it's crystal clear,
(04:19):
isn't it. Ryan. If President Trump is just focused on
message with the right temperament for the next forty three days.
He wins handily.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
There's another opportunity, Dan, that Kamala Harris has punted on.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Did you hear about this? Oh? My lord, did I
hear about it? It was the best news I've had
since Amy said yes.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Wow, are you talking about the Al Smith dinner that
she decided to forgo? That that would be an opportunity
for her to do exactly what you're saying, Dan, to
appear personable, relatable, make jokes, kind of get herself out
there on the same stage as Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
She won't do it. Why not, right, because she doesn't
have the capacity. She lacks that capacity and that's not
meant as a shot. But listen, this what we're not
talking about tea and crumpets and romper room. We're talking
about the presidency of the United States, the next commander
in chief. You got to be honest about this stuff.
She does not have the mental capacity to go into
(05:16):
the Al Smith dinner and trade barbs. And it's it's
also not her personality. She just can't do it. And
the reason this is such a big deal is you're
not familiar with the Al Smith dinner. Can we pull
some sound from the last one. Ryan, you've got this program,
you mean your program on two to four? Yeah, right,
(05:37):
which has the better sound. It won't be hard for
you to get it. Then it was hilarious last time
because it was Trump. And the way it works, l
Smith Dinner is done in New York. The Cardinal hosts it.
This is a really big deal and and what happens
is it's a big fundraiser and everybody who thinks there,
(06:01):
everybody is there. And then you have the presidential candidates
from each party who get up there. They do some
self deprecating stuff, then they take some shots at the
other side, and it's meant to be humorous, but there's
a little edge to it. So it's a unique opportunity
to show off. Here's why it's so revealing on her part,
(06:22):
her camp can do the math. Whoever wins the Catholic
vote usually wins the presidency, particularly in a cycle like
this where the Upper Midwest is likely to decide it
right the way it's shaping up right now, and we'll
get into some of the great new polling today. If
President Trump can pick off Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania, he
(06:42):
probably wins Lord knows if he picks off Pennsylvania, you know,
pop the champagne early. So so many Catholics up there,
and that's what swung it, I believe clearly in twenty
sixteen is the Catholic vote in those Blue Wall states.
So this is a huge Catholic fund. It's a huge
Catholic event. And for Kamala Harris to be given the
(07:04):
double middle finger to the cardinal and the Catholic community,
and an event that the major candidates from both parties
have often attended over the years, you know, she would
not be doing that. Her team wouldn't let her do
that unless she just doesn't have the capacity the capability
to do it. It's it's a big gift to Trump
(07:26):
eight five five for zero five A two five five
takes d an five seven seven three nine, So we
got that going for us. There's so much ground to
cover the seven and at some point we have to
talk about this wasn't just a hell Mary in Boulder.
This was a whole rosary. I mean, when in any
game have you ever seen a quarterback complete two hel
Mary passes in a row At the end of the game.
(07:46):
The first one got dropped by a receiver and had
a good night. But then Shadoor Centers comes back with
another hell Mary that gets caught and then they win
in ot. I mean, it was one of the greatest
games ever in Boulder. I've been to hundreds of games.
I must have been to hundreds of games in Boulder
by this point, So what a night. Congratulations. I do
(08:08):
believe Ryan, as I was telling you before that game
that this is going to be a turning point game
for him. I think they're really jellying and this kind
of win can propel them. So what a great night
up in Boulder. Congrats to CSU rams got a victory Saturday.
And that new facility of THEIRS. I was up there
for the CUCSU game. That new facility of THEIRS is
(08:29):
magnificent up there in Fort Collins, Man, it is magnificent
and should be a good foundation for a strong, strong
program up there. So glad you're here. Eight five five
zero five eight two five five. And I think those
are the real Broncosts we saw yesterday. I think that
was the real Bronco team we saw yesterday, and I
think we're going to see a lot more of that
(08:49):
team going forward. I think this year has going to be.
I think it's a playoff years I said before the
season started, and it's going to be a lot more fun. Anyway,
what do you think? What do you think good Trump
do this second debate?
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Now?
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Obviously, I mean I've been saying since the first debate
I think it would be a disastrous mistake for him
to do it. He's tracking to victory right now. That's
why she's begging for it. But if somebody has the
opposite point of view, I would love to hear that
eight five five for zero five eight two five five
text d an five seven seven three nine and related question. Okay,
assuming that he continues to be smart and doesn't do
(09:24):
this third debate, technically, how should he respond if at all?
Because it'll be an everyday talking point. Oh he's a coward,
he's scared, he's this or that. I don't think the
American people are falling for that at all. But how
should he respond to that taunting? And finally, when we
come back, some absolute blockbuster poll numbers in favor of
the president. You're on the Dan Capla Show.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
And now back to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.
Speaker 6 (09:51):
Thank you all.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Wow, that was good Trump at the L Smith Dinner
twenty Well, I want to thank your eminence. Is sixty.
Really great to be with you again.
Speaker 7 (10:04):
We love it, Governor Cuomo, our great senators.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Hi Chuck. He used to love me when I was
a Democrat. You know that. Talking to Schumer.
Speaker 7 (10:19):
Mary Deblasio, wherever you are is Mare Deblasio, U Hello, Mare, come.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Team of the old days.
Speaker 7 (10:27):
I would have known him very well, but I haven't
been doing so much.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Of the real estate and him and I want to
thank Al and then Smith. Just a fantastic job you
do with the dinner.
Speaker 7 (10:38):
And congratulations on a record over six million dollars.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Right, he's their record raising a lot of money for.
Speaker 7 (10:47):
A special Hello to all of you in this room
who have known.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
And loved me for many, many years.
Speaker 7 (10:56):
It's true politicians. They've had me to their homes, They've
introduced me to their children. I've become their best friends.
In many instances. They've asked for my endorsement, and they
always wanted my money and even called me really a dear,
(11:20):
dear friend. But then suddenly decided when I ran for
president as a Republican that I've always been a no good,
rotten disgusting scoundrel and they totally forgot about me.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
But that's okay, we'll get to some more of that sound.
It got really good after a while because Trump was
and come on, you got the Coldoninel Dolan sitting there's
an enormously important cardinal in America and beyond, and then
you've got the big TV audience and everything else. You've
got to strike just the right tome. But boy, he
went after Hillary and the news of the day reason
(11:59):
we're playing that is Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris has declined
she is not going to appear a real break with
tradition there. And you know, you want to say it's
a stupid play politically because whoever wins the Catholic vote's
probably going to win the presidency, which is often the case,
but maybe it's a smart play for because she truly
(12:19):
she does not have the capacity. She doesn't have the
ability to go into that format and do it well.
So even though she'll get hurt by not showing up,
she might get hurt more if she did show up,
because she does not have that the basic skills necessary
to be president. She doesn't have the mental capacity, and
(12:42):
you know, that's not meant as a shot, it's just
the reality. It's on full display. That's why she hasn't
had a single press conference since she was installed. And
one thing, Ryan, Hey, another, I told you so a moment.
Great to see President Trump doing this. He's now pivoted
to the much more appropriate Harris is mentally unfit to
be president, rather than calling her dumb and stupid, because
(13:03):
well you've heard me saying that for a long time
on the show, to the point it gets boring. But no,
don't use the D word. Don't use the S word
for many, many women. It's kind of like the the
N word for women of all races, because they've been
put down and disrespected that way, many women since they
were little kids by people who aren't nearly as smart
(13:24):
as them, you know. And so I'm glad the president
has apparently, unless I'm missing something, stopped using those two words,
and now he's just getting specific. She's mentally unfit to
be president. I think most honest folks would admit that
doesn't mean she's dumb or stupid, just means she doesn't
have the kind of mental horsepower, the particular type of
(13:45):
intellect necessary to be president. Eight five or zero five
A two five five texts DAN five seven seven three nine.
We'll get to some text right now. I want to
alert you to a couple other things in the news.
There are more than a couple, but but this report
just coming down this afternoon, Kamala Harris going to go
to the border apparently when she's in Arizona, I think
(14:07):
gets tomorrow or Wednesday, So she's going to make one
of these photo op trips down to the border show
how tough she is on the border. I think it'd
be like when President Trump was down there in the
Wave to be and they were chanting Trump, Trump, Trump, illegal.
The other side people respect strength. Oh and by the way,
that goes to this kind of devastating but confirming if
(14:29):
you listen to this show polling out for her today
from a New York Times Sienna, And keep in mind
the New York Times lies for her all the time,
and so polling is one way that they lie for her.
So even when they have bad polling for her, you
have to wonder if it's part of a setup. Does
this mean in a week or two there's going to
be some made up good polling for her and then
(14:50):
they'll begin to Kamala comeback story. But for today's porpoises,
as they say at Disney World, it's not a Disney World.
That was an old seaworthy world. They still have the purposes.
I know they dumped the whale. The whale got cut
killer will Yeah, yeah, yeah, aren't they all?
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Yeah, the part the ones that you can train and
they can be domesticated, they still.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Still they still anyway. New York Times Siena, which has
historically historically leaned against Trump, underrepresented Trump been way off
and not in Trump's favor? Has Trump up five in Arizona,
up four in Georgia, of three in North Carolina? Now again,
(15:30):
New York Times Siena, what kind of game are they playing?
Are they going to come out with blue wall polls
tomorrow that show Harris doing better than others? Reflect whatever?
I just wanted to pass that along to you. And
then I think it absolutely meshes with what we'd expect,
right because what's going on in the Swing States, Well,
what's not going on in Colorado when we sit around
(15:50):
and watch TV except for an occasional ball game, right,
That's that's national. We're not seeing these spots that reveal
who Kamala Harris really is in her own words, you know,
captured on video. We're not seeing those, but the Swing
States are seeing them over and over and over again,
and they should have an effect, and they appear to
(16:11):
be having an effect. And it's a specific phase of life. Remember,
age is more than a chronological fact.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
What else do we know about this population eighteenth through
twenty four?
Speaker 1 (16:20):
They are stupid. So you run that on a loop,
it's going to have an effect, along with about fifteen others,
including some new sound out today. You have to see
the video on this one, so please don't look while
you're driving. I know you didn't need me to tell
you that, but here's this great video of Kamala Harris
with Jesse Smolette chanting that we should not have any
(16:43):
more deportations. So this is another example of stuff they'll
be seeing in the Swing States but not here. And
(17:04):
you know what's so interesting about that video? So damaging
to her. She's got the dance going and she's a
very good dancer. I'm jealous of that. I wish I was,
and I'm working on it. But she's a very good dancer,
and so she's doing the whole dance thing where where
she's not just saying down down with deportation, she's dancing
around and she's pointing down, down with deportation. So it's
(17:24):
a great spot because it cuts through the clutter and
the boredom in these swing states. Right, Hey, isn't that
Kamala Harris dancing while she points down and says down
down with deportation. She can't run from her record?
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Dan, We got another clip there from Jimmy Fallon where
the beat poetry and Jimmy's like just lapping it up
along with the crowd about fracking.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
And yeah, and you know we'll do that right when
we come back. It's a beautiful, beautiful bite. And and again,
you know this is the reason Brock and Michelle Obama
did not want to as the candidate. Right, Remember they
didn't sign on immediately. They wanted an open They know
this stuff is out there. They know that unless Trump
literally hands it to her, she can't win. And there's
(18:07):
already so much more stuff out there than we've ever
had in any other opposing candidate. And there's more to come.
So when we come back, we'll get to that. And
how about this one. The Biden administration Harris bringing in
Zelensky to campaign for her using US aircraft here on
the Dan Kapla Show.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
We can't afford four more years of this?
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Does it get any better than that? Do we just
stop pulling? Sound? Now? Can it get better than that?
Speaker 4 (18:40):
We can't afford four more years of this?
Speaker 1 (18:46):
I guess Trump converted him eight five five for zero
five A two five five the main i'mber have to
send him a maga hat too, Yeah, right, oh yeah,
I'm gonna need a lot of those. I mean, maybe
Biden would share his with Walls. Probably not.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
No, he was clutching pretty tight to ITAs.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
He was, and that's going to be worth something someday.
But it occurred to me over the weekend because we
were talking about last week. Of course, this is the time, right,
We're in about a week long window here. If the
Left is going to force Biden out of office, strip
them of the presidency itself and insert Harris, they got
about a week probably here to do it. And so
(19:22):
when I was thinking back on Jill Biden going into
the first cabinet meeting in what ten months, sitting at
the head of the table. It occurred to me Ryan
probably had something to do with the book deal. I'm
guessing because I've always been wondering if my theory is correct,
and underline the if though I have great confidence in
this theory, and the reason that Biden or somebody acting
(19:46):
on his behalf whoever authored that weird letter on that
Sunday morning saying he would give up the nomination he
had earned. If my theory can't prove it is right,
and the bidens were bought off, that there was a
big cash buy out, then what's that form going to be?
If I'm right, I think it's going to be in
(20:08):
the form of book deals, art deals, speaking fees, stuff
like that. So I wonder if that bizarreness of her
appearing at the head of the table in the cabinet
meeting was a photo op for her coming book, or
more likely just her sending the message we're not going.
We're not going. You took the nomination away, but we're
not leaving the presidency. This is going to be an
(20:29):
amazing thing to watch. By the way, what do you
think of the US sending more troops? Sending more troops
at this point to the Middle East? What I think
is that, hey, our great Ali Israel, we have got
to stand for and protect our great Alli Israel. They're
doing a dark good job of it themselves. But none
of this would be happening if Donald J. Trump was president.
(20:50):
How do we know all together now? Because it did
not happen when Donald J. Trump was president. Not this
slaughter in the Mid East is under attack the way
it is not the invasion of Ukraine. Oh, it happened
under Obama in Ukraine, and it happened under Biden Harris
in Ukraine, but it didn't happen under Trump. So none
of this would be happening. It wouldn't even be necessary
(21:11):
to send our troops. But now, what a play we're
seeing from the left. And this is part of the
desperation of the moment right because they see this thing
getting away from them. And that is to see where
they sent Selinski into Pennsylvania to implicitly campaign for Harris.
Did you see that one, Ryan, So they've got Selenski
going into Pennsylvania. What a coincidence? Swingstein hmmm. And he's
(21:34):
there with Shapiro obviously identified closely with the ticket. Thank
god he's not on it because parts of the Democratic
Party are so anti Semitic. And what happens so Zelenski
with Shapiro in Pennsylvania signing signing bombs that are going
to be dropped on Russia or on Russian troops, depending
(21:57):
upon whether it's Ukraine or in Russia. So obviously, obviously
Zelenski isn't going to come out and say I'm here
to campaign for the Heros ticket. But it's implicit, right,
And what poor taste on the heels of a guy
who had been recruiting soldiers for Ukraine trying to kill
President Trump. And obviously at this point, you know, Zolensky
(22:19):
views Biden and Harris as much better for him in
Ukraine than it viewed Trump, because Trump said, hey, we
need to end the war. Now here's the question for you.
And I'd love to hear from me the old fashioned
way by phone on this, but you can text. I
understand that's what most people prefer now eight five five
four zero five eight two five five to call text
DA N five seven seven thirty nine. Is this a
(22:42):
smart political play for Harris to now say, Okay, we're
the I'm I'm the war president. I'm the president who's
going to go defeat Russia in Ukraine? Is that a
smart play for them? And listen. If you're new to
the show, thank you. But I've been on the record
forever is saying Putin is Satan, He's raping and pillaging Ukraine.
(23:05):
He should not be permitted to succeed. There should never
be an American boot on the ground there. Europe has
to stand up for itself here. America can support financially,
but to a point and in balance, but Europe has
got to win this where and there's no way that
Putin is going to be really stopped or defeated without
European boots on the ground in Ukraine, at least as
(23:26):
a detern. I think that's the reality. But for Biden
and Harris it's just, hey, whatever, it takes, no limit
on the budget, no clear path to victory, no clear
plan for victory. And in the middle you have the
phenomenally brave and courageous Ukrainian people fighting against an evil invader.
I've got to believe politically, Ran I don't know if
(23:47):
you've seen polling on it. I haven't seen Poland on this,
but I've got to believe that a very strong majority
of Americans do not want, do not want an open
ended commitment meant to Ukraine at this point to defeat
Putin at any cost. I just can't believe politically. I'm
(24:09):
not talking about right or wrong here now, I'm talking
about politically. I can't believe that politically that's a good
play for the Democrats. What do you think? Eight five
five for zero five eight two five five Texter says
Dan I was one of those who thought Trump should
have done a second debate. I was incorrect, friends, Okay,
wrong as far as how to answer barbs. And this,
(24:30):
Texter is a wonderful suggestion, a wonderful suggestions as far
as how to answer barb say something like quote, I'd
have a debate if you would answer the questions. We
know your so called middle class. Here's what I think's
brilliant in there, Ryan. What if Trump just responds, you know,
when he's asked about Harris teasing him, et cetera. Hey,
(24:54):
we already know she's from a middle class family. I mean,
just have some fun with it, right, because now you
got all these memes out there. Whenever you've got memes
of witnesses on the witness stand, you know, asked a
tough question, Well, I'm from a middle class family, because
that's always her answer to any tough question, right, And
I'm not at all sure she is from a middle
class family. I don't know one way or the other,
(25:15):
but yeah, I think Trump could really have some fun
with that. I think that would be cool. Good suggestion,
Texter Dan. I wonder if Oprah is having second thoughts
about Harris's capabilities to be president. I mean, she had
to answer questions for Harris. She's more qualified to be
president than Harris's. Boy, that is so true. Now, ideologically,
(25:38):
I'm not saying I'd vote for Oprah, but qualifications. Who's
infinitely more qualified than Harris. I mean, in this example,
let's start by gender, female, and they'd all be disastrous presidents.
Hillary Clinton infinitely more qualified than Harris. Michelle Obama infinitely
more qualified than Harris. Would be a disastrous president, but
(25:59):
infinitely more qualified. Gritch and Whitmur'd be a horrific president,
but more qualified than Harris by far to be president.
You know, we could do three or four shows with him.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
We could Oprah built an empire, So I respect for that.
I mean, many ways, she's the female version of Donald
Trump in the American Dream, and she was able to
achieve it and access it, which I didn't. I really
took offence Dan to her mentioning this during her speech
during the DNC that somehow you know there were insurmountable obstacles.
Oprah is the most successful America and you could argue
(26:33):
of the twentieth century surely by a financial standpoint.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
So she did it. She lived her dream, she made
it happen.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
And it was very painful to watch, to that Texter's
point her sit down with Kamala, because you could tell
her breaking the fourth wall looking at the camera trying
to finish Kamala's answers for her my big question. And
there are some conspiracy theories I'll leave alone. But Oprah
used to be just hand in glove close as could
be with Donald Trump, and he made mention to that
(27:01):
in that Al Smith dinner speech at twenty sixteen.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
These used to be some of my best friends. And
then I ran as a Republican. If you're going to
conspiracy route, and sometimes conspiracies happen, right if you're going
the conspiracy route, I would favor my deeply held belief
that there are really smart people on the left who
think it will be a disaster if Harris wins, because
he gets them wiped out in the midterms, it gets
(27:26):
him wiped out in twenty eight, really hurts the Democrat brand,
and they're not going to get a Supreme Court seat
anyway in that four years in all likelihoods. So do
you have some people and maybe Oprah's one of them,
certainly Michelle Obama is who have to go through the
motions of appearing to supporters so they can't be blamed
for the defeat, But at the same time, really do
(27:47):
not want to see her win. Eight fi five four
zero five A two five five the number President Trump,
tell me what you think about this. This headline just
popped up on CNN. Catholics who vote for Harris quotes
should have their head examined. So what do you think
about that? Eight five five four zero five eight two
five five text d A N five seven seven three nine.
Speaker 5 (28:10):
And now back to the Dan Kapla Show podcast.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Kamala Harris on Jimmy fallon September twenty nineteen.
Speaker 7 (28:19):
That's why I am committed to passing a green New Deal,
creating clean jobs and finally putting an end to fracking
once and for all.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Mama La Kamala, just don't give a frack think about it.
That tape is going to do more harm to her
than the excess Hollywood tapes did to Trump. She can't
win without Pennsylvania, and she's out there trying to peddle
this lie. Right now, where's that Fetterman sound? Oh that's
even worse. Yeah, there's three of them right, because she's
(28:52):
out there right now trying to keep pedal.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
This answer the question. That's right, well cuts ten through twelve.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
They're day right, because I think Fetterman tries not to lie.
And so listen, if Pennsylvania believes that she is what
she is, which is anti fracking once stand it, once
and for all, she is going to lose Pennsylvania. So
here Fetterman is asked about it over the weekend. This
is Kristen Welker and meet the press.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
Vice President Harris, as you know, once supported a ban
on fracking when she was running for president in twenty twenty.
She even sued the Obama administration to prevent fracking off
California's coast. Now she says she will not ban the
practice as president. Why should voters trust that that is
really what the vice president believes.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
It's so strange why we just keep talking about fracking now.
Back in twenty twenty, I said that that might be
an issue, but it's not going to be a defining issue.
And now in twenty twenty four, we're still trying to
talk about fracking, and now the other side they're talking
about eating cats and geese and dogs and saying absurd things.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
And he doesn't want to answer, right, he doesn't want
to lie. He knows she's opposed to fracking, and if
she's elected, she'll end fracking, which Fetterman himself had said
he wanted to do before he ran for Senate there
and did a big one eighty on it. So he
doesn't want it lie. So he's not answering the question.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
And talking about how if Trump doesn't win, he said that,
you know, you have to blame the Jews on that
and just absurd things. Now, like having a serious policy
conversation on the other side is just absolutely on fire.
And here's where we are, and here we are also
that it's going to be very close in Pennsylvania and
it's not going to be defined by fracking.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
It really well, it will be defined by fracking if
people believe the truth that she wants to end it.
So Kristin Welker, to her credit, shows a little balance
here and presses him on it.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
Well, we are talking about it because, of course it
supported one hundred and twenty thousand jobs back in twenty
twenty two. Let me read you some of what you
have said about fracking. In twenty sixteen, you called it
a stain on pennsylv In twenty eighteen you said you
don't support fracking at all, but then in twenty twenty
two you said you absolutely support fracking. Senator, what exactly
(31:09):
do you like about fracking?
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Now it's strange for some of weird gotcha kind of
taking quotes out of.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
A context, so he won't answer it that kind of video.
And that's why again what we're seeing even in the
New York Times Siena poll out today, which head if
I remember, right, Ryan, that poll just a month ago
at Harris up five in Arizona, for example, and now
she's down five and New York Times Sienna talking about
how she's losing Latino Man, et cetera. But they're seeing
(31:39):
the spots in these swing states that show Kamala Harris
for who she really is and who in the right
mind would vote for her it once they know who
she really is, except those people who want us to
become Marxist socialist somest but no goodest? Is there a goodest?
Josh and wheat Ridge here on the Dan Kapla Show.
Speaker 6 (31:59):
Welcome, Hey, Dan, thanks for having me. Hey before the break,
you said that Catholics who vote for Harris need their
heads examined?
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Did I hear you right? President Trump said that and
I teased into it, so thank you for reminding me.
Do you agree with President Trump on that?
Speaker 6 (32:17):
I do agree with President Trump now, I also want
to take the opposing view and say to Catholics that
vote for not Trump specifically, but the GOP need their
head examined with the recent changes in their stance on abortion.
You asking me because I don't, Yeah, because I don't
(32:39):
think the I don't think Catholics now, while I support
Trump and him wanting to push it to the States,
I think the GOP's position recent position change on it
really puts Catholics in a in a you know, in
between a rock and a hard plate plate.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
I don't I don't think so, my brother, I think
it's the easiest decision humanly possible for people who want
to save Can I just play this out for a
second and then tell me where I'm wrong? For people
who want to save babies, this is the easiest choice
humanly possible. It's like standing on the curb and you
see a baby about to get run over by a car.
(33:15):
You've got a choice. You can take the baby out
of the road, or you can take leave the baby
in the road and watch the baby be run over.
It's that easy a choice because with the Left, with
Kamala Harris, it is a killing machine. It glorifies it,
it funds it, it promotes it. Up to the moment
woman can be fully dilated. You can see that baby,
(33:37):
that baby is about to be born into the world,
and they can chop it up. Under Kamala Harris and
John Hickenlooper and Jared Polus and all of them. So
it's the easiest choice in the world. Is Trump perfect
on this, of course not. I'm disappointed in some of
his recent changes, But in terms of saving babies, think
about this, my friend, think about this under the Democrat,
(34:00):
under Harris. Okay, the decision gets taken away from the people,
and the federal government makes it again, the Supreme courtinates again.
Under Trump, it's at least decided by the people of
the States. And that's before you even get to the
issue of funding the Death Star, which Harris will do
and Trump will not do. How could this why would
(34:21):
this be a tough decision?
Speaker 6 (34:24):
No, no, no, it's not a tough decision for me
at all. I think, I think and I fully agree
with Trump wanting to push it to the States. But
as on the GOP, the GOP, not Trump. The GOP
has its own body. Didn't they recently change their policies
to do what sixteen weeks I believe?
Speaker 1 (34:43):
No, no, but that, But the GOP has softened its position.
You're right about that, Josh, And if you want to
hang on, please do, because I'm so grateful for your
call and you're asking really important questions. But no, the
GOP has softened positions, trying to lessen any negative political impact.
I think that's a mistake on multiple levels, but still
(35:05):
a very easy choice. You want to say, babies, it's
the GOP, it's John Donald Trump,
