Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Caplis and welcome to today's online podcast
edition of The Dan Caplis Show. Please be sure to
give us a five star rating if you'd be so kind,
and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. Apology. I've really
wanted to do a very light show today. That was
the plan. I was looking forward to it. I'm sure,
(00:20):
and I hope that you're in a very light and
happy mood, as you should be, because this is such
a special holiday and hopefully you're going to have four
days or most of four days off and with family
and everything else. So I'm not trying to be Debbie Downer,
but this is a really big deal when somebody tries
to kill two of our National guardsmen. Anytime that happens,
(00:41):
and then when it happens in the midst of this
call by Jason Crow, a congressman from Colorado, and other
members of the military just publicly telling the American people
that the military has now been pitted against them yet
that then it needs to be discussed. We'll work some
of the light stuff in, but yeah, that's that's why
(01:03):
we're on this topic right now. Three oh three seven, one, three, eight,
two five five text d A N five seven, seven
through nine. And the point is not to say that, oh,
Jason Crow and his gang caused this shooting. I'm not
saying that. I have no idea if that's true. I
don't even know the name of the shooter, let alone
what their social media says, et cetera. That the point
(01:24):
is that this is happening just days after we've had
these prominent members of Congress who are veterans come out
and tell the American people something that's not getting enough
at tension. And yeah, we talk a lot about you
know that the statement to the military that they should
disobey orders. Now you know, Crow and the rest say
(01:46):
quote unlawful orders, and that covers them legally, But what
is their real message to the troops because they can't
point to a single unlawful order. So isn't there real
message to the troops to disobey orders or dis will
pay anything they think may be unlawful. But that's where
the focus has been with that question. But this they
(02:08):
said as well, And I had a transcript made of
the video so I could give it to you verbatim.
And they also say this, which is not getting a
lot of attention, but should and should certainly get that
attention right now. What they also say in this video,
as a matter of fact, a present tense statement, meaning
this is going on right now, They say, this administration
(02:31):
is pitying our uniform military against American citizens. I'll read
you the whole quote. This administration is pitying our uniform
military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens. That is
a statement of fact that the military right now is
acting against Americans. So if you, as respected veterans, are
(02:57):
going to tell the American people that right now the
military is your enemy, the military is acting against American citizens,
that gravely increases the danger to the members of our military.
That doesn't mean that's what caused today. We don't know yet.
But I'm not trying to say that statement is a crime.
(03:21):
What I'm saying is morally, it's a crime. It's a
crime against humanity, it's a morally, it's a crime against
our military. Anythinking person, if they stop to think, would
have to realize that making that statement is going to
put every member of our military who appears in public
in a uniform in much greater danger. But that's what
(03:43):
they did, whether it's connected to today's atrocity or not.
Let's go up to Wyoming. We'll start with Tom. You're
on the Dan Kaplis show.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Welcome, Good after nooon. Dan, I'd just like to ask
where Jason Crow and your so called respected rep reresentatives.
I would disagree with that your comment on that they
are not well respectful. Somebody elected them, well, certainly wasn't me.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
I was.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
I Well, anyway, let's go on to the point. The
point is as a question is where was Jason Crow
when the last administration did order have unlawful orders? And
that would be to force the military to take an
EUA vaccination. Title ten, Section eleven oh seven states that
(04:36):
the president must identify the units that have to take
this EUA and for what reason they came down and
did everybody? Yeah, that was an unlawful order.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Appreciate the call very much, Thank you, my friend, Thank
you for the Texters d. The leftists constantly called Trump
a dictator, the implication being all as orders are illegal.
That from Steve in Littleton, Dan, I hear from cospital.
These great patriots may be dead. If they were still alive,
I feel we'd have more information I don't know. There
was that earlier AP report that the National guardsmen had died,
(05:15):
and then that was attributed to false information from the
governor of West Virginia. Obviously that increases our concern for
the welfare of these two National guardsmen, because if the
governor thought they were dead, that obviously does not bode well.
So hopefully lots of prayers going out for them right now.
Texter dan I love that Trump is even deporting members
(05:38):
of his cabinet family members of his cabinet. The child
should also be deported in the father charge of aiding
a criminal alien and to that tax. That facetious text
is referring to the tremendous sec spokesperson for the White House,
Carolyn Lovett. Apparently I think it's the mother of her nephew, Zach.
(06:05):
I got to right, Zach correct first time today, Craig
TeV Zak and Ryan's getting to the airport to go
back to Michigan be with his family. Well deserve break.
Father of the nephew, mother of the nephew, Okay is
being detained by Ice dan bettdeu crou is very effective,
but keep it under the table, don't use it too much.
(06:25):
Yet I have no idea what that means. But I
really hope that Crow comes on this show sometime and
tries to justify telling the American people, quote, this administration
is pitting our uniform military against American citizens. Because he
was part of that video and he knew what the
script said. He didn't say those words others in the video.
(06:46):
Did you know it was Kelly who said this administration
is pitting our uniform military and then Crow says against
American citizens. So Kelly says, this administration is pitting our
uniform or military, and Crow says against American citizens. So
that is a direct statement of fact that right now
(07:07):
the American military is acting against American citizens. A clear
message that Crow just sent to America to American citizens
is the military's your enemy, and it's the administration's fault,
but the military is your enemy. Think about that, every
member of the military, every family member of anybody in
(07:28):
the military. Think about Jason Crow doing that to your
family member or to you, creating that additional danger, whether
that's what he intended or not. How can anybody argue
against the assumption that that's what he did. How could
you even go and make that statement publicly, let alone,
(07:48):
in something you intended to be spread nationally. This administration
is pitting our uniform military against American citizens. How can
you make a statement like that and not expect it
to increase the danger stack? What's your take on all this?
We haven't talked this week because you have not been
on this show this week.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Yeah, I think to your point, obviously you can't be
endangering soldiers like this. I think that statement right there
definitely crosses the line that the rest of the video
might not, because I think the defense has been well,
we're talking about something that could happen or you know,
legal orders haven't been made yet, but it's a reminder
(08:28):
that if they do come down, you don't follow them.
That's kind of been the defense. That is very clearly
a present tense statement of wrongdoing. And also to your
other point about him knowing the script, I think it's
very unlikely that they had him only say his lines,
or that it was like spliced out of context unfairly.
(08:50):
I'm sure he read the whole thing and then later
on they edited it so effectively he did say those words,
oh yeah, yeah, And he absolutely he was the one
who said the words against a consitizens, and I don't
think he was saying Russia before that, you know what
I mean, the exact same thing that I'm other representatives.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, he says that right after Kelly says, this administration
is pitting our uniform military, Slotkin says, and intelligence community professionals,
and then Crow says against American citizens. It's a present
tense statement. Now. The only way that the administration could
be doing that is through unlawful orders. So their excuse
right now that they weren't talking about any current unlawful
(09:29):
orders they just wanted to advise people about the future
goes right out the window because they have made this
present tense statement that the American military is pitted against
you right now. That's a great point I haven't considered. Yeah, well,
it's thank you, my friend. But I'm grateful to the
caller from Wyoming who said he was a court reporter
(09:51):
in court martials, because he reminded me I had this
transcript made. I had a transcript made to the video
because I wanted to make sure we had the batim,
and then we had EERI. Mike called the show a
couple of days ago, and I said, no, Eerie, Mike,
it refers to the administration right in there, and he says, oh, no,
it doesn't say administration, it says it right here. Wow.
(10:12):
And the reason we're talking about it today is does
it I don't know the answer to it. Does it
have anything to do with this cowardly attempt to murder
these two troops, these two National guardsmen, just days after
Kelly and Crow say this administration is pitting our uniform
military against American citizens. Have to wait to learn more
(10:34):
about the shooter, but you can certainly see where it
was going to endanger, increase the danger for everybody in uniform.
I want to get to this great text that follows
up on that. Three h three seven, three eight two
five five. You're on the Dan Kapla Show.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
And now back to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
New information on the demon who, depending upon what reports
you believe at this point, has either murdered these two
members of the National Guards, some reports that they have perished,
other reports that they're still alive. But in any case,
the breaking news is a twenty nine year old Afghan
(11:21):
national appears to have immigrated from Afghanistan. NBC reporting it's
being investigated as an act of terrorism. At that point
at this point, So we'll bring you more information as
we get it, one way or the other. Police obviously
prayers for these National guardsmen and their families if you
just joined us some of the new information we're adding
(11:43):
and not claiming this to be the cause of today's atrocity,
but just pointing out the reckless endangerment of our troops
by Crow and the others in his gang. And it
has not received a lot of attention because there's been
so much focus on the instruction not to obey orders
(12:04):
from the President, which they characterize as quote on lawful orders,
but they refuse to identify even a single order that
they're talking about. If they're so confident they're only talking
about on lawful orders, why not point one out anyway?
The point being earlier in that very damaging video, this
absolute statement of fact is made and its present tense.
(12:26):
It says, it's happening right now. And I'll read it
to you because I had that video transcribed so I
could read it to you. Kelly says, this administration is
pitting our uniformed military, Crow says against American citizens. I'll
read it again, this administration is pitting our uniformed military.
(12:48):
That's present tense, Crow says, against American citizens. So you've
got Kelly and Crow saying that right now, as of
the time they release that video, American military has been
pitted against American citizens. That the clear message to all
Americans is that the military is now your enemy. Blame
(13:09):
Donald Trump, blame unlawful orders. But they're making a present
tense statement of fact that the military has been pitted
against American citizens. How does that not recklessly in danger
every man and woman in uniform. It does. Doesn't mean
it cause today. I have no idea whether it caused today,
but it means that it unnecessarily, dishonestly, recklessly places everybody
(13:34):
in uniform, no matter where they're standing in America, in
danger because of what these respected veterans have said. And
I understand the callers said they're not respected. I don't
respect them, but I said to him, somebody elected him.
So there are plenty of people out there who do
respect the people who have made this provably false, awfully, reckless,
(13:57):
endangering statement. Oh please keep that in mind. Three out
three seven one three eight two five five the number
text d an five seven seven three nine. We have
a lot of variety in our text today, Dan Snoopy
will define Thanksgiving for our generation. God blessed Charles Schultz
that that is true. I mean so much positivity from
(14:20):
Charles Schultz. Dan, you are very correct. The so called
seditious six are accusing the president. There's no doubt that
they are. I just read it verbatim, Dan, MSNBC changed
names from the recent split required them to create a
separate identity from NBC. But if you are against rebranding,
(14:41):
were you upset about Trump's new name for the Gulf
of America and the Department of War. No, the Gulf
of America is brilliant. Here's the difference. You know, MSNBC,
I think is trying to cause people to forget that
they're really MSNBC. They were doing so very poorly at
the time of the name change. But that aside, No
(15:02):
Gulf of America. That just makes perfect sense. That's not
an attempt to cover up some failure. And Department of War.
You know, I'm fine with Department of Defense or Department
of War. But I like the messaging that the way
you avoid war is to be prepared for war, and
the enemy knows you're prepared. For war, and they know
they're going to lose, so then there is no war. Alexa, right,
(15:25):
stan Wards matter. Several news reports today are only reporting
that Toyota Matrix was stolen. It was a carjacking at
three thirty pm. Then from Alexa, I believe, referring to
that mass murder on the roadways in Franktown yesterday when
you had or on Monday when you had the criminal,
Alexa tells us steal the car, not just steal the car,
(15:48):
but carjack and then driving that car recklessly when he
then murders the thirty five year old dad and three
kids in that car. Two others flighted out in serious condition.
But again, you know, remember Colorado's Attorney general tell me
this isn't an implicit invitation, you know, to every car
(16:09):
thief in America. When the Attorney General comes out and
says this in July of twenty twenty.
Speaker 6 (16:14):
Two, after someone commits a third or fourth car theft
in say three months, they should be kept in with
a really high bond because you got a sense they're
gonna get out there, going to commit more crimes.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Now, Phil Wiser is a highly highly intelligent individual, highly
he had to know right I mean, he had to
know when he made that statement it was going to
attract car thieves to Colorado. If you're a car thief,
and keep it in mind that you know, stealing cars
(16:50):
is connected with all sorts of other crime as well.
If you're somebody who has the stealing of cars as
part of your criminal enterprise, we're in America. Would you
rather be in the state of Colorado where the Attorney
general says, ah, if they steal three or four in
three months, yeah, then we got to lock them up.
(17:13):
I hope Americans Colorados are getting such an insight right
now between the Benedicte Crowe stuff and this horror and
frank Town and the attention it's bringing back to the
Democrats kind of cheerleading car theft by by not cracking
down on it the way they should. And there have
been some toughening in the law of sense and some improvement,
but give me a break. You heard that statement. I
(17:35):
hope eyes are getting open to the reality and the
reality of the Left, which is they don't care about
your safety, They don't care about the safety of our military.
They will put a target on the back of our military.
When Jason Crow and Mark Kelly, come out and make
this definitive statement. This administration is pitting our uniform military
against American citizens. How are they saying anything other than
(17:57):
the military is your enemy? Right now? Trump, But the
military is your enemy? How can people read that any
other way?
Speaker 4 (18:05):
And it deflates their defense because to your point, I
don't think there's a lawful order Trump could be giving
that would pit the armed services against the American point.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Great point. Yeah, So anyway, we'll bring you more information
regarding this this demon today reportedly legal immigrant from Afghanistan
targeted shooting of two of our troops in DC. And
when we come back, I want to give you one
(18:38):
of the most subtly heinous statements I've heard from the
media in a long, long time. What else Sharpton just
said about this shooting? Three h three seven one three
eight two five five text d An five seven seven
three nine here on the Dan Kaptas Show.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Family in Michigan. I hope you're driving home with a
big smile on your face. This is one of the
most special evenings of the year, really just second to
Christmas Eve, because hopefully you have four days off in
front of you, or at least a good chunk of that,
you probably have family gathering, And I just think it
makes it such a unique and amazing holiday. And I'm
(19:29):
so sorry that we have to talk about something this
awful this afternoon. That was not the plan for this show.
Was all going to be light. You can look at
my soundboard right now, Thanksgiving song by Adam Sandler rush Limbaugh,
the True meaning of Thanksgiving. All of that we had
ready to go. But when we have this, when we have,
according to some reports that the murder of two of
(19:53):
our finest National guardsmen in DC. Others say they're still alive.
But when you have this kind of demonic tack on
members of our military at any point in time, we
need to talk about it. When it comes right on
the heels of you know, this incredibly incendiary, reckless video
(20:13):
done by Jason Crowe and the rest of his gang,
You've got to talk about it in that context. Not
because I believe it caused what happened today, we don't
have enough facts, but because it on its face so
obviously increases the danger to the members of the military
and dramatically increases the danger to Donald Trump, all based
(20:36):
on a fundamentally false statement. So yes, so we need
to be digging into this today. Thank you for being
here right now. Multiple networks reporting that the demon, the
killer of the shooter, let's hope these troops are still alive,
is an Afghan national. It's being investigated at this point,
Afghan national here illegally. It's been investigated as an act
(20:57):
of terrorism. So oh, we'll keep you posted on that.
Prayers obviously, I know everybody is for these troops who
are just protecting people in DC very effectively. When this happened,
just further proof and I mean this in a literal
chemical sense that hate destroys brain function. Some of the
(21:19):
statements being made by leftist media today, including Al Sharpton,
who described that the two troops fighting for their lives.
He says, two men fighting for their lives that Donald
Trump put there. Now, that's not going to hurt Donald Trump.
For Sharpton to say that, that's going to hurt Al Sharpton,
(21:40):
because one thing I know for sure is American people
buying larger, decent people across party lines of good people,
a people who value fairness and honesty. And I know
we have wildly divergent political views, but that's my view
of the American people as a whole. And when somebody
comes out and tries to pin this on Trump that way,
the vast majority of people are going to look at
(22:02):
them as if they're an ass asinin Sorry kids, and
so it only hurts Al Sharpton. But it's just proof
that hate interferes with brain function. And we played sound
from others on the left, in the media arm of
the left, you know, who are trying to blame Trump
more subtly, just more proof that hate interferes with brain function,
(22:25):
which brings us to another point that I think is
very important today. And I pulled this sound, you know,
before this horror occurred. But it's a news story on
CNN about the dismissal of the charges against Trump down
in Georgia. And I want to get to that in
a second because I think it's just very, very significant
(22:47):
and it ties into what's happening today. But as we
talk about reckless endangerment of our troops by the left,
where they have to know that what they're saying is
absolutely false, here's another example. This is the governor of Illinois.
This isn't today this is a few weeks back.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
It's an attack on the American people by the president
of the United States. Now, he may disagree with state
that didn't vote for him, but should he be sending
troops in No, he.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Said he has other aims. What are the other aims?
Speaker 7 (23:21):
The other aims are that he'd like to stop the
elections in twenty twenty six or frankly, take control of
those elections.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Now, wait a second. JB. Pritsker, Governor of Illinois. He
knows to a one hundred percent certainty that Donald Trump
is not deploying National Guard troops in Chicago to try
to prevent the elections. He knows that soul, why would
he state something he knows to be false? He would
state that he Well, let me put it this way.
(23:50):
I can't say as a matter of fact that his
intent was to increase the danger to Trump and to
the troops. I can't prove that, but he would have
to know that that would be the effect of that lie. Right,
So why do you think he tells that lie. He
can't believe for a second that that's the purpose of
the Guard troops is to prevent the next elections. So
(24:14):
why do you think he said it. Now, please do
consider this story and you think about the humiliation of
Donald Trump, which, as we've predicted the day it happened,
would backfire on the left. These bogus charges down in Georgia,
which I called bogus on air and had so many
people texting and calling the show and st Dan it's
(24:35):
irresponsible of you as a lawyer to call these Georgia
charges bogus, And I said, I'm just I'm reading everything
publicly available and giving you my constitutionally protected take. But
I came under great attack for saying those were bogus charges.
Trump had to fly down there, had to drive can't
remember if it was a courthouse or jail. Tevis mugshot
(24:59):
taken and then had one of the greatest mugshots of
all time taken. And so listen to this story off
CNN about all those charges now being dropped. But as
you listen to this story, listen for the chronology how
these charges eventually got dropped, And what you'll hear is
they eventually got dropped because they eventually made it to
(25:22):
an honest prosecutor.
Speaker 8 (25:25):
She was then disqualified from the case because of an
undisclosed romantic relationship with another prosecutor, and that is how
this case now fell into the hands earlier this month
of a prosecutor who was assigned the job of trying
to find someone to take on this case. He said
that he couldn't because there were too many conflicts, and
he took it on himself. Now we're seeing the results
(25:45):
of that, and that is that he is saying that
they are not going to move forward with this case.
He summarized it in part by saying that he made
this decision by examining the case file, examining what the
jury had been presented, and also consideration of the law.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
So what they're saying is when it finally made it
to an honest prosecutor who wasn't basing it on politics,
was just basing it on the evidence and the law,
the prosecutor dismissed the case. And this is a story
that most Americans will never hear now, but it's such
(26:24):
an important story because that's what they did. That's what
the left did. They knew they couldn't beat him at
the ballot box, so like a Banana Republic, they tried
to put him in jail, and the American people punished
the left for that, And that's why I really hoping
President Trump is doing so many great things right now.
(26:44):
No human is perfect, he's not either, And a mistake
he's making right now is his own lawfair. The difference
is his administration is pursuing this lawfair against people who
have done evil, evil things to this country. What James
Comy did to this country was so evil, being part
(27:05):
of this coup attempt to try to subvert the will
of the American voters with this Russia hoax, raw evil.
Letitia James trying to destroy Trump financially the way she did,
purely politically motivated. That's evil, But not all evil qualifies
as a prosecutable crime. And so the effort of this
(27:27):
administration now to pursue Komy and to pursue James, I
think is wrong, not because they even commit any crimes.
I'm not at all sure they could prove a crime
against Komy. I think they probably could against James. But
my belief is that Banana republic is when you bring
any charge for political reasons when you would not be
(27:48):
charging that person with under the same facts if they
were not a political opponent. And I do believe that
Komi and James prosecutions are politically motivated. That's why I
don't think they should be happening. The difference is Trump
was innocent, and they were out to utterly destroy him,
to cause him to die in jail, and destroy he
(28:09):
and his family financially. That is raw, unadulterated evil. These
two may well be guilty, but I still don't think
we should have prosecutions brought in America that are politically motivated.
Three out three seven one, three eight two five five
text d An five seven seventh three nine. When we
come back the latest on the Demonic attect today, we
(28:31):
have a bit more information on the accused shooter. We
do not have clarification now as to whether these two
brave troops are still alive. You're on the Dankaplass Show.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
And now back to The Dan Kaplis Show Podcast.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Five fifty one. On one of the happiest days of
the year, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, because hopefully you have
a four days ahead of you, and that's always so wonderful,
right because families get together. It's just a very very
special time, boy, Zach And for Ryan who's on a
plane right now, what a cool text d And My
wife in Strasburg is listening to the Dan Kapla show
(29:31):
while trying to put two small grandchildren to bed. It's
really cool, man. Thank you. That makes my day. I'm
not sure how what it means for the sleep the
grand kids are going to have, but it makes my day.
Thank you for that. Dan. I'm not a prophet, says
a Texter, but I just had a vision that Tim
Tebow might be called into coaching in the NFL. You know,
(29:51):
I think Tim Tebow could get elected to high office
in Florida, could be a great coach in college, maybe
in the NFL as well, certainly accomplish great things in
the NFL before his career was wrongly cut short. I
want to get to the calls as well. Here some
(30:13):
of these are so great, but they're so long. Let
me go to Alexas. It's our Alexa. It is. That's
so great. Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
I've wanted to tell you because I do want to
bring us to an upending. Here is.
Speaker 9 (30:31):
I'm thankful for your show. I'm thankful that we have
people like President Donald J. Trump in office, Others like
Steve Reen, Jaron Weekley, d George Brockler, people like Scott Jennings.
We might be fewer than the other side, but we
have some great people on our side, and I'm very
(30:54):
thankful for that. And it has been one crazy year.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
Boy, it has been never imagined. Yeah, at the start
of this year, even with Trump in office, how crazy
this would have been.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
And what is to come next year? And Alexa, agree
with everything you just said, and very thankful for you.
Have a great thanksgiving you too. Thank you, Alexa. Alexa
is wonderful, very important text. Dan, I want Jason Crowe
and the others involved with this video investigated because we
need to know who came up with the idea, who
funded and produced it. This was planned and organized in advance.
(31:28):
That from Jim. I agree completely, and I'm glad the
FBI is investigating because, as I said, I think Crow
and the others have cleverly insulated themselves from criminal prosecution.
I don't know about Code of Military Justice by saying
quote unlawful orders while coincidentally not pointing to a single
such order, but understand, and I had this video transcribed.
(31:53):
Listen to what Crow says and the rest of them say,
is happening right now, real time? And they stated as
a matter of fact in this same video. In the
same video, Kelly says, quote, this administration is pitting our
uniform military, Crow says, against American citizens. So they are
(32:13):
telling this nation, as a matter of fact that right now,
as we speak, the military is your enemy. The military
has been pitted against American citizens. How incredibly reckless that is.
How that endangers our troops anywhere they appear in uniform,
anywhere they appear in uniform. When you've got these veterans
(32:34):
members of Congress saying, hey, that the administration is pitting
our against American citizens, that means it's happening right now,
so reckless and false. They can't point to a single
unlawful order because if that was happening, the only way
the administration could be pitting the American military against American
(32:55):
citizens would be through unlawful orders. Right, But please remember
that part of the video this administration is pitting is
present tense right now, pitting our uniform military against American citizens.
They had to know. I'm not saying it was their
intent to endanger every man and woman in uniform who
(33:16):
appears in public, but they had to know what would
have that effect. And I'm not saying it had anything
to do with this cowardly, heinous attack on our troops
today in DC. I'm not saying that at all. What
I'm saying is this has created danger to our men
and women in uniform. It has done it wrongfully, and
Crow was a big part of it. He uttered those words. Wow, Zach.
(33:41):
Big weekend plans, big Thanksgiving plants.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Yeah, excited to see my family down in the Springs
and have a good Thanksgiving celebration. We got a great
slate of football tomorrow. I'm a big sports guy, so
excited for that too.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Yeah, me too. And Yeah, Joe flies into night from
law school. Carolines coming home. It's going to be absolutely wonderful,
which goes to the text Dan regarding the dream. I'm
not a prophet. I've listened to you for twenty years,
but I really appreciate what you share about your life,
and I think the Lord is telling you to retire.
You and your wife will be closer. I can promise
you as a divorced retiree. This matters. What he's referring
(34:15):
to is I talked earlier about this wonderful dream I
had last night, and I get very little sleep. I
don't have to get much sleep to be good to
function well. But last night I have first time in
years i've overslept, and I slept so deeply, and I
had this wonderful, wonderful dream, deep dream, very realistic about
my wife and I in our early years. We've been
(34:37):
married thirty one years now, and I woke up and
it was just such a wonderful, beautiful dream. So I
appreciate the very thoughtful text. I don't read it that
way at all. I mean this big trial, this three
week trial up in beautiful Glenwood Springs that we just
finished in September. I hadn't had one day off all
year while preparing for that, But since that trial, I'm
(34:59):
back to a normal forty or fifty hours a week.
And so believe me, if and I'll get Amy on
the show, she can tell you this. I think that's
probably a good balance, and we should do that show sometime.
How many wives want their husband to actually retire. I
could not imagine actually retiring, and I obviously love my
(35:19):
wife deeply, but I think we're all put on this
earth to do as much good as we can. I
can't imagine just actually retiring and just like plopping down
on the couch one day and saying, honey, I'm home. Yeah,
that it's not time thirty years I'll be Yeah. I'd
love to hear from people how they handle that. But
(35:42):
Kevin and Boulder, my apologies for not getting to you,
my friend. We've got about twenty five seconds anything you
want to say.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
I've got a.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
Sixty to ninety seconds Thanksgiving gift for.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
You, Oh my friend. Can we do it on Monday
when we're back. Kevin, my apologies for not getting to
sing or Zack. Great to see you, have a great
time man, and look forward to an absolutely wonderful four
day weekend catching up again on Monday. Be safe, have fun.
Catch you Monday on The Dan Kapla Show.
