is unique. But if you havea mother, you'd like to celebrate this
weekend, you want to put somethought into it, you know, like
you meant to do it. Ina new poll, people were asked about
their family life growing up. Formany of us, our mothers were more
involved than our home life. Seventynine percent of people were raised by a

mother and a father, compared tofourteen percent raised by a single mother and
one percent by a single father.Among the people who had two parents in
the home, of forty nine percentsaid their mother was involved in their daily
activities, thirty five percent said parentsequally, in seven percent it was said
it was mainly dad. Seventy twopercent said their mother was more involved in
their housework, nineteen percent both parentsequally and four percent mainly dad. Forty

twelve percent mainly dad, and thirtyfive percent said their mother gave them more
advice. They turned a mom foradvice, and thirty five percent said parents
