This is Deuber in the den withDangerous Day. Well. The annual study
of Happy City Index ranks the happycities based on everything from economic factors to
how good the schools are. Abunch of cities in Europe top the list
this year. Denmark and Germany bothhave two cities in the top ten.
Number one is Denmark's second largest cityor who's but one city in the US

(00:24):
not far behind. Minneapolis came inat number eighteen over the whole world,
which was the top one in theUS. It's the only US that lets
their gold ranking shine. Ottawa wasthe only city in Canada to get it.
According to the results, ten happiestcities in America, Minneapolis, Boston,
Baltimore, d C. San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Madison,

(00:44):
Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, Rochester, NewYork, and Portland, Oregon. Of
the two hundred and fifty cities theylooked at, Johannesburg, South Africa ranked
dead last. So apparently, I'mguessing with Minneapolis at the top of the
list, they didn't make this rankingin the winter time in the two Well,
you know what it means to procrastinate, or maybe you know a lesser
known term, but do you procrastinate. It's an exact opposite of procrastination,

(01:08):
which sounds like it could be agood thing, but then again maybe not.
Procrastination is when you do things asearly as possible to get them out
of the way so you don't haveto stress about them. But experts say
overdoing it can be stressful on itsown. For example, you might stress
if you try to get something donewhen you really don't have time. Okay,
so you're gonna lose sleep if yougive yourself more work or more time

(01:30):
later, but then you're gonna endup feeling that free time and filling it
with more work. It doesn't meanyou can knock off things to do on
your two do list to get themout of the way. You just don't
overdo it. So think of preand procrastination as extremes. The healthiest place
is somewhere in the middle. Ihave a tendency to procrastinate a little bit,
try to get as much stuff doneas early as possible so I know

(01:53):
that it's off my plate and it'snot, so I just don't let it
go by the wayside, mostly becausejust so I don't forget it. Tune
in again, for another episode ofDeeper in the Den with Dangerous daved right here
