Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is deeper in the den with dangerous day. Well,
for getting ready for a big summer trip, you might
have a home alone style moment. That is when you
realize you forgot something at home. Hopefully it isn't your kid.
In a new survey, ninety percent of people said they've
forgotten something when they're traveling. Most common things were most
likely to leave behind. Phone charger tops the list, follow

(00:22):
by toiletries, sunscreen, medication, socks, water bottles, wallet made the
list as well. Forty two percent of people said that
forgetting essentials can negatively impact their trip because it forces
them to spend more money buying alternative products. Of course,
most of these shouldn't be a big deal unless you're

(00:43):
going someplace remote, like in a third world country. I mean,
forgetting your sunscreen or some toilet tries. Most resorts, hotels,
locations you're going to will have a store where you
can buy that stuff. As a matter of fact, I've
read reports for people to save space if you want
to pack a little more lightly, to buy sunscreen and
maybe your toilet trees while you're there, by like sample

(01:05):
brands while you're there and then leave them behind. Because
when I go to a resort. I want to make
sure there's leftover deodoran for me. Super in the two.
Usually when people talk about superpowers, they wish they had
superpowers that would really do some good, invisibility, teleportation, the
ability to time travel, the ability to give themselves superpowers.
Somebody on the social media site asked what completely useless

(01:29):
superpower you would love to have, so, in other words,
there's really no use for it. Some of the top ones.
Many of the things brought up at least a little
bit useful, but the best ones were closest to being
totally useless, Like being able to cut my hands and
make tiny thunder and lightning storms that only I can see.
The ability to tie both my shoes to precisely the
same degree of tightness. Would that be a skill or

(01:51):
a superpower? I guess it depends who you are. The
power to know exactly where a fly is in a
room and where it's headed next, that must be a
summer thing. Favorite laser farts. Not sure how to explain
laser farts, but totally useless superpower. There you go. Some
of the other superpowers that would be totally useless that
people would like to have, being able to transform your

(02:11):
socks to any color in the blink of an eye.
The ability to remember every single dream I ever had. No,
not me, there's a lot I don't want to remember.
The ability to walk on water. Hey, guess what I
have that superpower? I do it every winter, especially when
I'm ice fishing. The ability to speak fluently with any animal,
but only in their dreams. Well, it kind of has
somewhat of a use. The ability to turn people's pooh

(02:35):
into smellings like something nice? How about their farts? And
the ability to always enjoy what I cook well for you.
I would suggest stick with the mac and cheese. To
me again for another episode of Deeper in the Den
with Dangerous Dave like year
