Speaker 1 (00:00):
He's uber in the den with Dangerous Day. So if
you have kids, you probably caught them putting some nasty
stuff in their mouth at some point. And you know,
if you think you're completely desensitized by it, try to
make it through this list without cringing. So they asked
people on Reddit, what's the worst thing you've ever gotten
in your mouth? Either accidentally or on purpose? Some of
(00:22):
the best dancers. Crazy ones include soap. If it wasn't
having their mouth washed out with soap before saying something notty.
Somebody was handed a soap sample outside of store and
they drunkenly popped it in their mouth thinking it was food.
So yeah, it's like it was a tide pod they
popped it in their mouth. Somebody said I accidently chewed
an advil liquid gel cap and it was obscene. One
(00:43):
person said, seagull who had hit him in the face
and it landed right in their mouth. Somebody said when
I was a kid that I was in a long
overnight car trip. I reached for a bottle thinking it
was water and drank some of it was windshield wash
or fluid. One person said I drank right out of
the tap in my bathroom turned out there was a
cockroach in the tap crawled right into his mouth. Yuck.
Somebody said, I drank a half can of beer somebody
(01:04):
used as an ashtray. I did that as a kid
after my parents had a party. Boy, how about a
pepsi they left outside and they took a big swig
and it was full of ants. One time I had
a beer outside, I grabbed it, drank it and there
was a yellowjacket inside. Yep, baby spit up. Oh I
had that. You pick your kids up and they throw
up on you. Mm hmm. Somebody said, my cat sneezed
in my mouth when I yawned. That happened to me too.
(01:26):
Other things that made the list of the worst things
You've ever had in your mouth. Somebody was sleepwalking and
they had a half a bowl of pole piri thinking
it was cereal. And some of the actual edible foods
that made the list clams, insects, Chinese century eggs, coconut
sparkling water, Foi gras, and durian, that fruit delicacy that
to some people taste like garbage. Deeper in the two well,
(01:48):
it seems like no two generations ever had as much
of a beef as boomers millennials, that is, if you
believe the internet. Millennials can't stop fuming over boomers leaving
voicemails ranting about how the customer's all is right, refusing
to learn technology. There's plenty of common ground between this
and other generations, So what is the common ground they've
been able to find. Some of the common ground between
(02:09):
generations include new car headlights are too bright. Social media
was better when it only showed you content from friends
and followed pages. People shouldn't listen to music or videos
or play their phone calls live in public without headphones.
Shouldn't have to download an app for everything. Not everything
needs to be recorded, photographed, or posted online. Other things
people agree with. People need to stop speeding through neighborhoods.
(02:33):
Restaurants should offer actual menus, not always a QR code,
especially if they're hard to read. Tips should be for
only sit down meals at restaurants only, that is, unless
you get delivery. I'll agree with that. There should be
zero work related texting during non work hours. Touchscreen keyboards
aren't as good as the actual physical keyboard. If you
say something, acknowledge that you heard me. I'm not instantly
(02:56):
available at waking moment. Just because technology made it possible,
writing notes by hand on paper is still better than
typing notes and agen Z, you make your hearts with
your hands. Enough of that, Enough of making the hearts
with the hands. We get it too again for another
episode of Deeper in the Den with dangerous Dave right here.
