Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is uber in the den with dangerous day. You know,
it's hard to determine the rudest and friendliest cities because
sometimes the tone of the locals is affected by the
vibe of the tourists. So why not ask the people
who lived there, ask them about their own cities. A
study is out about the rudest cities in America. Instead
of asking travelers, they surveyed residents in the forty six

(00:21):
largest metro areas in the US and asked them about
rudeness levels on their own. In the end, the rudest city,
according to the residents lived there Miami. That's followed by Philadelphia, Tampa, Louisville, Kentucky, Oakland, California, Boston, Memphis,
Las Vegas, Long Beach, California, and Charlotte, North Carolina. On
the flip side, Omaha, Nebraska the most polite city in America.

(00:42):
That was followed by Minneapolis, San Diego, Columbus, Ohio, Kansas City, Missouri, Milwaukee, Indianapolis,
San Jose, California, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Oklahoma City. So
most of the top seem to be in the Midwest
and then some in the South. You know, really it
depends upon the day and who you talk to, and
are you thinking yourself is rude when you're judging your

(01:05):
own city. Maybe you can do something to work on
that attitude. In the two coffee has a stranglehold on
many of us these days. Not surprisingly, most coffee lovers
take it pretty dog gone seriously. In a new poll,
more than half of American coffee drinkers say a good
cup of coffee is so powerful it can turn in
one of the worst days into a good one. That's

(01:25):
saying something because many people have coffee first thing in
the morning. The only bad things that have happened so
far as the alarm clock or a notification on your phone.
On the flip side, thirty one percent said the entire
day can be ruined if the coffee isn't right, So
maybe that's why it's less people are willing to leave
that importance up to Starbucks or someone's coworker in the

(01:46):
break room. Seventy percent of coffee drinkers prefer to make
their own coffee at home, where twelve percent prefer to
go to a coffee shop. Well, by the way, one
in five people claim having a fresh cup of coffee
is better than sex. Well I'll take your word for it.
