Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is uber in the den with dangerous day. Well,
the laziest person you know might be the healthiest at
least soon. First ozempic now this. Researchers in Denmark say
they've created a pill that mimics the benefits of running
a ten k. Yes, it's an exercise pill. Before you
get too excited, it doesn't come with all of the
benefits of running. For example, your legs won't get any stronger.

(00:22):
But the lead author says a new molecule that develops
and does mimic the effect that has on your metabolism
brings a body into a metabolistic state corresponding with running
a ten k at high speeds on an empty stomach.
So it has some benefits if you are fasting. Exercise
triggers release the hormone to suppress your appetite. Another one
that flushes your fatty acids into your bloodstream because it

(00:45):
reduces your risk for things like heart disease and diabetes.
They haven't tested the new drug on humans yet. They
tried it on rats they triggered the release of those
same hormones, so if it does what they think it does,
it could be a game changer for people who are
too injured to or too old to work out, or
for people who just don't want to. The good thing
is they've got some really good looking, in shape rats

(01:08):
right now. Deeper in the two, there's a new survey
out there and ask the most undesirable jobs, the careers
they would avoid even for double the pay they're getting.
Right down, results broken down by state. Some of the
most popular answers meet packing worker made the list. Undesirable
in Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina,
South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Commercial fishermen least desirable in Alabama, Alaska, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Virginia.

(01:34):
Skyscraper window cleaner, Yeah, I wouldn't be up for that.
That was least desirable in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee,
and Washington. Electrician least desired in Delaware, Georgia and Hawaii.
Oil rig worker in California, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas.
Ruffer in Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, and West Virginia.
Of course, mostly Southern states. Gotta be hot doing that lagger.

(01:57):
Least popular in Montana, North Dakota and Vermont. Power line
worker least desire role in Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire
and Oregon. I would think in Florida too, because with
all the hurricanes and storms, gotta be working on those.
A lot coal miner and Wyoming steel worker in Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio,
and Pennsylvania. And security officer in Rhode Island. So I

(02:18):
guess the best they could come up with two men
they camp for another episode of Deeper in the Den
