Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is deuber in the den with dangerous day. Well,
some registered dietitians recently broke out a list of foods
that may help you when you feel stressed. One of
them is particularly timely. The first one pumpkin seeds. High
in magnesium. They help regulate neurotransmitters in your brain that
help you calm down. Good to know. Also, tuna and

(00:23):
salmon high in vitamin B six and B twelve both
can play important roles in regulating your mood. Salmon is
high in omega threes, which also have been shown to
reduce inflammation and increase serotonin. Orange juice is helpful as well.
Oj is high in nutrients like vitamin C. They help
with chronic inflammation. But if you want one hundred percent
of orange juice with no added sugar, is that's what

(00:44):
they say you should be drinking. Also, there's a couple
of things you should try to stay away from if
you're feeling stressed. Cookies, cakes, ice cream, sugary cereals can
all increase feelings of stress and anxiety. But guess what
soa can caffeine. Well, how are you going to get
your jump start this morning? In the two Now? Remember
when you were young and your parents and grandparents would
actually put a little effort into their signature. Do you

(01:07):
still do that? A random poll asked when you make
a credit card purchase and you're offered a space to sign,
what do you typically do? Sixty eight percent of people
said they sign their actual signature, nineteen percent draw a
liner scribble, three percent draw a blank space, which is
an option I guess. Two percent said they do something else,
and I'm not really clear what that would be. Some
boomers blame it on the curse of not being emphasized

(01:29):
in school. But the real killer there are horrible signature
screens at checkout corners. You know, they give a little
panner you're supposed to use your finger. I try to write,
you know, a signature, and it still looks like a scribble.
But anyway, this is coming up now because there's an
article out online that signing for transactions will probably be
phased completely out if you think about it. The times

(01:50):
you're asked to sign have been declining rapidly over the
past five years. Ever since credit card companies stopped requiring
signatures in twenty eighteen, why because they'd even look at
them anymore. They have immediate ways of detecting fraud reaching
out to you on the phone, So signature is really
just there to make you feel more secure or when
they want you to leave a tip. Of course, it's

(02:11):
still official documents require people to have a signature, but
that doesn't even seem that important anymore because you pretty
much do anything online with docu sign who knows who
has it and who signed that. It doesn't prove who
signed anything besides, my signature looks like I was doing
it on the back of a bumpy horse wagon going
down a washboardy road, even when I try to print it.

(02:34):
Nice to me they can for another episode of Deeper
in the Den with Dangerous Dave right here.
