Speaker 1 (00:00):
He's uber in the den with Dangerous Day plotting a
Halloween costume? Do you think it could be seen as
offensive or politically incorrect? They pulled a thousand Americans and
asked various things what's acceptable in twenty twenty four. Here's
the results. Can a woman dress as a man? Sixty
nine percent said yeah, that's okay, nineteen said no, eleven

(00:21):
percent weren't sure. About a man dressing is a woman?
Sixty five percent said yes, we're twenty three percent said no.
Can a non Native American dressed as a Native American?
Fifty two percent of people think it's okay and thirty
percent said definitely not. Can a child dress up in
a cultural costume if they're not a part of that culture?
Sixty two percent said yes, twenty percent said no. Yes

(00:41):
has dropped fifty six percent. If you talk about adults.

(01:04):
I'm surprised that it was still that high in twenty
twenty four deeper in the two So have you ever
dumped somebody or not dated them for something totally petty?
Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode, or maybe all the
Seinfeld episodes. Anyway, they asked Reddit. Some of the highlights
include she was perfect, except she would snap her fingers

(01:24):
whenever somebody said something she liked. Every conversation was peppered
with snaps. One guy did a Beavis impression from Beavis
and butt had and the woman realized he actually looked
like Beavis in general, so that was it. On Tinder,
a woman always wipe left on any guy holding an
iPhone without a case because she didn't need that kind
of stress in her life. A guy talked about his
Italian heritage too much. Nothing against Italians, it was just

(01:48):
way too constant. Other reason people have not dated somebody
or broke up with somebody for petty reasons. He had
a velcrow wallet. He spread ketchup across the entire plate
of breakfast, chopped up his food in one big pile,
and then ate it and pancakes were involved. A woman
took forty minutes to get ready for taking her dog
for a walk. A person didn't use turn signals, and
they said, quote, if you can't communicate on the road,

(02:09):
you can't communicate in real life. They asked them how
they were doing, and they just said hashtag blessed. Somebody's
voice just irritated him for no good reason. A ton
of people actually agreed with that one. A guy clapped
at the end of the movie date felt like they
had to clap. Two relationship over. The guy said his
favorite color was purple, and the other person thought purple

(02:30):
was dumb. Serious food allergies, It was just too much
pressure to kiss somebody knowing that asking yourself, did I
just eat a peanut butter sandwich or not? And a
woman chewed with her mouth open. The person she was
with tried to drop hints, even made up a story
about a gross coworker did it, but she didn't take
the hint, didn't stop, so that was it. And one
guy said she had the same name as my mom.

(02:51):
I couldn't do it. Huh, no edifice complex, I guess
to me. They came for another episode of Deeper in
the den with dangerous daved like he

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
