Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's deeper in the den with Dangerous Day. Well, if
you ever shopped at Spirit Halloween or Party City or
one of those places, it kind of has a little
bit better selection of Halloween costumes and stuff, and you
know the discount stores have them too. Well. An employee
from Spirit Halloween came out with a list of mistakes
people make when shopping for Halloween stuff. You might be

(00:20):
doing it wrong, I guess. First of all, they say,
people go straight for the cheap stuff. If you plan
to wear the costume only once, it's find it cheap out.
But investing a little more in high quality items can
actually make something you'll rewar down the line. Mine makeup
and prosthetic kits without removal products. Most Halloween store makeup
isn't quality, so it's really hard to remove at the
end of the night. We just so open water, not

(00:42):
browsing the entire store. Employees say walk around the entire
store because you might find some hidden gems in different places.
The checkout line particularly has a lot of fun novelty
items only coming into the store once per season. Stores
get new merchandise delivered every week, so a chance you're
going to find something new if you go back into
the store and forgetting that they stay open after Halloween.

(01:03):
There's usually some clearance sales going on the first and
second of November, so you can find some really great deals.
So there you go. Some tips for you if you're
shopping for Halloween. Deeper in the Town. Well, this is
the time of year many people go to fake haunted houses,
but some people believe they're a real thing or even
lived in one. I did in a poll, sixteen percent
of people said they lived in a haunted house, eleven

(01:24):
percent said they visited an actual haunted house, and six
percent said they haven't yet but would like to. Twenty
nine percent said they have not and have no interest
in going to one. Twenty four percent of people say
they do not believe houses can be haunted. That's more
common among men than women, though thirty one percent of
men say that women are more likely to believe houses
can be haunted because they've had a personal experience. Nineteen

(01:47):
percent of women claim they've lived in a haunted house,
compared to just twelve percent of men. Have you ever
lived in a haunted house? Are radio stations haunted? So
why not to? They can't. For another episode of Deeper
