we're entering the season of giving perfect opportunity to be
generous and to compensate for the last three seasons of selfishness.
In a new poll, forty three percent of Americans said
they're actively doing more good deeds before the end of
twenty twenty four. That is, to make up for the
rest of the year. It includes stuff like volunteering and

donating sediment is more common among younger generations. Fifty nine
percent of Gen z ers and millennials are planning to
do more good as we approach twenty twenty five, compared
to thirty seven percent of Gen xers and boomers. But
the younger generation also report to have done more charity
early in the year. Nineteen percent of them said they'd
give themselves an A for doing good deeds they've done

so far this year, compared to just ten percent of
older folks. Average person plans to spend eight hours a
week on pursuits of good now through the end of
the year. But grading yourself on how you think you've
done is that really a fair assessment? Wouldn't that depend
upon your personality or age? Depending upon I've done enough.
