Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Stuber in the den with Dangerous Day. I
do study. You looked at how much people scroll on
their phones and they converted the distance to miles. This
shows you how far your FuMB travels. According to their data,
the state that scrolls the farthest Arizona. People scroll one
hundred and fifteen point four miles per year, roughly the
distance between Phoenix and Tucson. They also have the equivalent

(00:23):
of nine hours of screen time per day. Washington second
at one hundred and eight point two, followed by Kentucky
the one hundred and five, Missouri at one hundred and two,
in New Mexico at ninety six. Rest of the top
ten Texas, Maryland, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Georgia. Unfortunately, they
did enlist states that travel fewest miles when scrolling, but
according to their data and sources, bottom five would be Kansas, Maine, Nebraska, Minnesota,

(00:47):
and Massachusetts. Overall, the average Americans spend six hours thirty
five minutes per day on screens, which adds up to
twenty four hundred and three hours annually. People check their
devices and average of fifty eight times a day. Now,
if they could just convert those miles into steps, i'd
be set deeper. In the two plus study from the

(01:07):
University of Ataggo in New Zealand found that doing some
light exercise before bed can help you sleep longer the
next day. All you have to do is pick some
simple moves like chair squats or calf raises, standing knee lifts,
do them every thirty minutes for four hours before bed.
On average, participants in the study who moved around slept
twenty seven minutes more than when they stayed glued to

(01:28):
the couch, So you just woke up later went to bed.
At the same time, you're probably thinking, you want me
to exercise for eight times before bed. See each mini
set only lasts about three minutes, so about twenty four
minutes total, So you should avoid heavy exercise before bed
because it can raise your body temperature and your heart
rate and keep you off The best part is you
don't need a gym exercise design, so you can do

(01:49):
them in your living room without messing with your favorite show.
Even walking around the house or dancing counts. Any movement
is better than just sitting on the couch, So if
you want to snooze a little later, a few squad
before bed might be the trick. I don't think not
exercising before I go to bed is a reason I
don't sleep later. My alarm going off telling me I
have to get up and go to work is a
reason I don't sleep later. Tune it again for another
