on this station?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Anyway?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Here's your host, Dickerman, Jimmy d and Scott Harris.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Hey there, and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. Stickerman.
Here there is Jimmy D. Hello, good says and freshly
back from another trip to epic universe.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
Scott Harris, you guys know that Asgard is not a place,
it's a people.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
It's a people.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
That's what they say in thor So they saying thor Yeah, yeah, okay,
I just want the Infinity cones. They say it in
ice cream.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
They say it in thor Ragnarok, which is like your
favorite movie ever made? Yeah, I think actually know what's
your second favorite movie ever made? Behind Thor Love and Thunder?
Speaker 2 (00:52):
No Levin Thunder was the greatest disappointment in Marvel movie history.
His favorite movie is, uh.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
No, what's the one with Tars Interstellar?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Interstellar, that's his favorite. At an arrival and if we're talking.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
We're talking to you know that Tars is going to
be in the Odyssey. Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey really.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yes, Okay, the Odyssey like like the old thing from.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
The movie that he's filming right now with Tom Holland
in Zendeia At Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon and John Burnhaal.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I don't think it's like the Olden Time thing. And
then it's a different thing, different odyssey.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Uh, this is like this is like a sword in
Sandals story.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Oh okay, Well, how's Tars in it? Yeah? How's Tars
gonna be in there? He's a robot?
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Oh he was cast to be in the Odyssey.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Just saying it. The guy's voice, that's all you're saying.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Uh, in the actor who portrayed Tars.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, okay, Look, if we're gonna cover one more movie
thing before we get in his epic universe thing, I'm
gonna see Homer. By the way, there you go, Homer.
I'm gonna see my first James Bond movie. Apparently because
Danny ville Nube's gonna be directing the next.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
James Bond movie.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
So I've never seen a James Bond This will be
the first one.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Well, there's only twenty five of them. I just watched
all of Side this year.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I feel like if he watched Daniel Craig movies. He'd
enjoy those. I feel like it's a badge of honor
that I've never seen one, and I will wait till
Danny Villanoubs comes out.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
I can recommend a few of them to you.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
After I see this one, maybe I'll think about it.
You know, that's not something to be proud of.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, it really isn't. You're missing like a big cultural miles.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Take a pride in it. Take pride in it. Yeah, no,
stand by my asicians.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
You should watch at least one Connery. You should watch GoldenEye.
You should watch Casino Royale and Skyfall. Those are really
the only ones you The other ones are like kind
of kitchy, like the Roger Moore ones are a little
they're they're fun, they're carbon era.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yeah, but the other ones are really good.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
All right, let's talk about this trip to epic universe,
because you finally got on a ride that you have
been waiting again on. We have we have kept quiet
about this thing because none of us gotten to see
it yet. Yeah, and that is the Harry Potter, the.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Harry Potter Battle of the Minished and the Battle at
the Ministry, which is an elevator themed dark ride.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
So not a roller coaster.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
No, it is not a roller coaster at all.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Is it like the Broomstick Ride?
Speaker 3 (03:17):
No? Okay, imagine Spider Man. Okay, I know that ride,
but way bigger. Okay, way bigger.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
And you're in the Ministry of Magic.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
You're inside the Ministry of Magic because it's a trial
for Dolores Umbrage and she attempts to escape.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
She's the bad one, right, she is a lady.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yes, she's the one that takes over Hogwarts and the
Order of the Phoenix.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah, we don't like her. We don't like her at all.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
And just so happens Harry Ron and hermidy and house
self named Higgledy is happened to be there?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Where's Dobby?
Speaker 4 (03:55):
This takes place after Deathly Hallow's Part one, after Dobby's
Dead Boilers.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Sorry Jimmy for a movie that came out a decade ago.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Sorry Jimmy. Honestly, when I was looking over like things
to do in England the first time we went, one
of them is Dobby's resting Place.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Oh it's a nice it's a nice area. Yeah. But
so you're there, and you know.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Chaos ensues.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Could she escapes and there's all sorts of death theaters battling,
you know, our trio, and it's really fun.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
It's really cool.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I don't want to give too much away, okay, but
it's like imagine Spider Man mixed with the beginning of
Tower of Terror, you know, not the drop part when
you're but when you're moving around.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, it's like that.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
It's a mix of screens and practical effects.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Okay, it's it's really good. It's a it's an amazing experience.
Let me ask you this.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Okay, So considering all the amazing rides there at this
new park, right, say you've got one shot to go
to the park, all right, you've got you got one
day to spend and you're there. You're looking at lines
and you know a lot of them are reasonable. This
thing's you know, it's been the long one, right, Say
it's two hours. Is it worth maybe missing two other
rides to hit this one ride? If you're only going once,
(05:11):
like a one time deal.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
The way I would try to stack it is, if
you're gonna go rope, drop to close, make it be
the last thing that you do.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah, so you don't miss out on doing anything.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
You didn't like it. If it closes at nine o'clock,
you get in the line at eight fifty seven and.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Just well try to ask the team members, hey, like,
are you going to kind of close this line early?
Speaker 2 (05:32):
They don't know. No, they're not allowed to close the
line early.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Well, sometimes it gets a capacity.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
I know that was happening during the previews, so it
might be different now that now it is completely open.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
My favorite trick at Disney was it didn't matter what
the ride was. As long as you got on five
minutes before the park closed, You're getting on that ride.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
I mean this was happening to the previews when the
ride wasn't as reliable, so they kind of made it
spil So when I got in the line, it was
a two hour and fifteen minute wait okay, and I
just was like, you know what, I'm gonna go do it?
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah, because you haven't done it yet.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I hadn't done it yet. I've done just about everything
else that I wanted to do. And as I was going,
I got I got a butter beer, I had a podcast,
AirPods in like I'm ready for this, and then as
I'm getting in I see a team member I was
just like, hey, can I ask you a questions? Like yeah, yeah,
is the single rider line open? And she was like
she kind of did the like the look around and
she's like follow me.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh oh.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
And she was just like if anyone asks, tell them,
and she's like, my name in my station and tell them.
I said it was okay, so you know, I get
in and it was the single rider line was actually closed.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Okay, all right, So but she did you a salad. Yeah,
she didn't have to do that special universal experience exactly. Yeah,
so shout out to her.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
She was.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
She was an amazing person.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
I'll have to like when I get a survey thing,
I will definitely shout her out for making my experience better.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
I waited an hour.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Forty seven minutes okay for the single rider all right,
I feel like I missed out on some queue stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Oh probably.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah, I mean I'm in a hall will like I
was in a hallway for most of it.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, that is the thing, Like you always want to
go through the Q first if if at all possible,
you want to go the first time so you could
see an experience it all. Then when you just want
to ride the ride, it's a single rider or go
through the back hallways and absolutely climbing through the boiler room. Well,
what Scott did is exactly what we did for Rise
of the Resistance, not Rise of the Resistance, because we
(07:31):
went through the regular.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Line, the regular ride for both of them.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
No, the first time we went on Smugglers Run, we
got shuffled out of the line. Remember, yeah we did
ride single rider.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah unintentionally. Yeah yeah, yeah, that first one was a
crazy scene, but yeah, it really was.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, it is important to see the queue.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, and it is an amazing queue.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Like and there's also cool experience where you use the
FLU network where you walk through the fireplace and transport you.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
It's really fun.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
There's little out that a Harry Potter Q at Universal
is not going to be fantastic because they don't do
anything small when it comes to that IP. It's always
huge and massive and immersive.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
And here's the thing. I know you're like, oh you
in an hour and forty seven minutes. Here's the thing.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
As I got in the line started raining, Oh indors,
I was indorged the entire time that the rate happened. Yeah,
so and by the time I got out, the heat
was gone.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
The humidity was gone.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
I mean it was still like eighty two degrees, but
when it's been ninety five, I'll take it. And then
it was overcast for the rest of the day.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
That's nice.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yeah, so it was. It was good.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
And for anybody cursing Scott as an elitist media member,
they got to go for free. He's bought all of
his tickets.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
I have a good I have now spent six hundred
dollars now going. Oh I mean because I've gone three times.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yeah, yeah, I mean it's of your own it's of
your own money and your own tickets.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
The only thing I've not paid for is parking because
I'm an annual pass holder.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah that's that's that's a deal. But me, I don't
like to pay for.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Par Before it, before I left, I popped over to
they have a chocolate.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Oh what is that?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
These are butter beer flavored caramel filled barrels.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Oh my, And for those at home, this is in
a clear packaging and the chocolates or I guess the
butter beer flavored fudge or whatever it is are shaped
like little barrels. Yes, like a barrel, like almost like
the barrel that they take the butter beer out and
when you go to the sand Crab or that donkey
Kong throws it or that donkey Kong throws at you.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
So I feel like, you know, we make it a
thing of trying butter beer items.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
On the show. Oh boy, So all right, I mean,
I'm not gonna argue with you here. I'm gonna try one.
I can get this guy out of here, come on, buddy, Oh.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
My god, I can get I just got a whiff
of them.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
It's all right, Dickerman Audiences are used to long wait times. Yeah,
it's fine. They're in line for this. Oh my god,
that's straight up to It's like the butterscotch. It's on
top of it. It does.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
They're gonna make so much money and butter beer items
at Universal, They're just gonna be rolling.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
I mean they could. They could fund the steam Park
on butter beer items after Halloween. Harnit's butter beer. I
feel like, mm hmm yeah, or at least Harry Potter.
This is amazing. Yeah, it really is.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
I have had this for a week just setting in
my house. No, it's like yelling at me, like the
Green Goblin mask. It never would have survived it never
would have survived my ass and be like, oh, you
guys tried to get them, but you know they ran out.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
I would have told you guys about it.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I also wanted to make up the last thing that
I bought.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
I didn't want a chance at melting, so I went
to the candy store at the front of the park.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Didn't have it.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
And this is at like eight point fifty five and
the park was at nine. So I'll make hoofing it
across to make it back.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
I gotta get this butterbeer candy. So you could only
get this in the ministry imagine.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Well in the Paris area of the Harry Potter Portal.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Okay, very good, thank you for sharing a little experience
with us. Scott, no problem that is. You know, if
you're looking for something sweet inside Universal and your butter
beer fans, it's really good. I do recommend and.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
I did not see that at the City Walk store
because they're selling a lot of butterbeer items.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
They're in butterbeerd itself. You can get at that store now, yeah,
Or if you want to bring home a something for
someone at home, that you can go and they're big
Harry Potter fan.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yes, Scott. You think they'll start doing that thing like
seven eleven does on July eleventh, where you can bring
any item you want and fill it up and fill
it up.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
No, because of people like him, what.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
I can't bring a thirty two gallons trash can you've
stood out beforehand.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Sir, you don't count as a vessel. You can't stick
your head under the nozzle.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
This is all true.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
But also while I was there very quickly, I finally
did the Bowser Junior key challenge in Super Mario, where
you have to do different ask with your power up band.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
You have to get three keys.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
And then you can go do a challenge where you
can battle Bowser Junior. Two of the challenges were very easy.
One was like the hardest thing I've ever done. It
took me five attempts.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
You have to time hitting one of the blocks so
it pow thing hits a shell to knock out a
koopa troopa.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
And I was just like I was just always off.
The timing was always off.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Just like when you know you originally played the first
Super Mario and then really the first few, you know,
it was all about timing and if you didn't have
that timing right, you know you're going nowhere in the game.
Oh yeah, And that that controller was getting fired right
at the.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Cons oh yeah, yeah, getting blasted against the drywall. Forget it,
But I did. I did Mario Kart Bowser's Challenge again.
I did Yoshi's ride. I was able to do the
Monsters and Chain ride three times. Oh wow, nice twice.
I was the only person in my car I did
sing It was a ten minute wait.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
That ride is just so efficient and I will now
say it is fully operational. Every effect was working now
on that ride, So they've really like like dialed it.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
In fully armed and operation.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Fully armed and operational, And I like, I love the
Ministry ride. I'll need to do a couple more times
to really soak it all in. The Mantra's ride, I
think is still my favorite. I was not able to
do Start as Racers. It never went blow with sixty
minute wait oh. And when it's like I've done everything,
Like when I've done everything, there's still some.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
Other like things I wanted to go experience. I went
to the.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Astropub, which has burgers, and it might have the best
burger I've ever had in the theme park.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Really.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
Yes, it was very good. High praise, I know, and
high praise, but it was it was, it was delicious.
I got there.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
I got there at one o'clock, left at nine, and
I feel like I've done again. This is my third
time going, but I feel like I did not like
miss out on anything.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Wow, it's doing it that way, that's awesome.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
I mean you're missing a lot of you're you're getting
there before. It's like super like it's still hot hot.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
But yeah, I I did see Epic Universe on group on.
It was funny because it's like retail press, like two
sixty nine on sale on groupon two fifty five. Wait
a minute, five bucks, I just buy it from Universal.
Never mind.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
I mean, I know, I know it's hot. I know
it's raining in when it rains, like they there's a
lot of outdoor rides.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
It now really is the time to go because it's
only going to get busier. Yeah, and I know it's
it's expensive to do it. If you're going with someone
that's a passolder, you're gonna at least save out on parking,
so that will make a little bit of a difference. Yeah,
So if you if you have the means, I really
recommend going now.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
I'm no way to the fall. I'm my first not
to be so hot. Yeah, it's like Satan is crop
dusting us right now.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
It's not again like I feel you. I was there,
so I know how bad it can be.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
I'm going tomorrow. I got a couple of girl that
I work with, her and her husband and go take
them a SeaWorld because you know, Seawell gives you the
free tickets all the time when you're a passholder, and
they've been wanting to go. I'm like, all right, I'll
meet you out there tomorrow. We'll go in because you
got to you gotta escort the minute. So I'm gonna
I'm gonna see how I do tomorrow. I imagine I'll
last about thirty minutes.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
I walked in leave nineteen thousand.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Steps, Oh good God in the sun.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
And well, I mean, you got The thing is, there's
not a lot of shade in a lot of that
park yet.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Because it's so new.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Trees and stuff like that, so it's a you gotta
kind of pick I did a lot of walking into
shops as I was going around.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Yeah, it's a little bit of air conditioning. Yeah, that
was probably mostly so you didn't burst into flame.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Also true, Like it's the point where I'm like, am
I gotta become one of those people that carries.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
An umbrella not for rain, but for the sun.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
For the sun.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Yeah, I am thinking about the way to go. I
really think you about it?
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Are you a parasol? You know? Just go Classic.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
They have some really cool ones in Dark Universe.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
I think they're team member ones. But I found them
on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Okay, all right, I think I'm gonna be a neck
fan guy.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
Okay, Oh, I got a thing to show you, guys,
another product different.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
With the fan in it.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
No better, but I'll show you. Okay, that's a tease
for you two. Okay, right, fair enough. But experience all
right out of ten Epic Universe. If you haven't gone yet,
you know, go go it looks amazing. I'm just gonna
throw this out there for universal. I do want the
all you can drink butter beer experience, So just throwing
(16:09):
it out there for you guys.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Make that happen sad at once. I don't recommend it.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
You haven't recovered.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
That time I had those like how many how many
was it?
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Was? It?
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Six? Is?
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Eight?
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Eight?
Speaker 3 (16:20):
I had four.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
I don't recommend it. I don't recommend it. I was
in I did myself a disservice several days. I don't
agree with that. I think there's a cost to anything
you want to do in life, and I think that's
that's uh life well spent. The cost diabetes.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Can I get into some quick Universal news?
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yes, I want to do SeaWorld news too, because I
forgot to last week. Yes, yeah, I'm the SeaWorld guy.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Three houses for Hallween Hornet's have been announced.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Oh wow, three more.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
Okay, these are three original houses, all right, because we've
had The last one was the A Jason Universe house.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
At Spooky Empire last week they annown l Artista, a
Spanish haunting, which is in nineteenth century Spain. A tortured
artist moves into an isolated country manner for inspiration, but
the art comes alive.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
And possesses him.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Okay, I can see that. I can see that in
house form for sure. Okay.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Then there is Hatchet and Shanes demon bounty hunters.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
In this old West town, all hell is breaking loose.
Red hot lava demons are trying to possess everyone, melting
everything in their path.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
See, they're going to catch the Yellowstone fans of this one,
or the Red Dead or the Red Dead because this
like westerns are hot again.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
The artwork looks very red Dead.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Okesthetic, that's great, and you know it's smart to have
lava monsters because you don't have to worry about air
conditioning that house exactly.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
And then lastly, there is dolls. Let's play dead.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Uh, you're about to become doll sized and be hunted
by toys that have been burnt, melted, and stitched together
by a twisted little girl.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
So basically it's like Sid's house.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Yeah, there's Yeah, it's like Sid's house. Or there's actually
a chapter in Resident Evil seven where I think you
go through this exact thing.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Oh okay, yeah, so yeah, three three houses have been ounce.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
I like the toy story twist too. Yeah yeah, yeah.
Anytime you have scary dolls, it's good, it's good.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
And like you know, we've talked about this before, the
original houses are usually the ones that are the most scariest.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
They have no limitations. They can do whatever they want.
As far as creativity, yes, yeah, creativity.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
That's creativity. Creativity isn't you're creating words over their grandpa.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
I am, that's true. You do that all the time.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
I know, but I do it. Yeah, but you make
it sound official. And he says, like me, you question,
maybe that is a real word.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
All right, corn Pop, all right, all right, what's the alright? Alright,
Sea World Bands, Bruise and Barbecues. They have an interesting
lineup for this.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
I know they do like national acts, but like on
the off days they do like the tributevan yeah, yeah, yeah.
So the first one is on July twelfth. It is
a tribute band.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
It's a Journey tribute, okay, and Journey is not an
easy one to tribute because you know the vocals in
that band.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
It's like you know, I mean, some people say that
the Journey now is a tribute band.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Well it could be, because it's not the guy. Yeah.
July thirteenth, Joe Nichols, I don't know. Joe Nichols say,
is anybody know how about a Toby Toby Keith tribute
on the nineteenth of July?
Speaker 3 (19:27):
No idea, Well, I mean, you know Toby Keith. Oh ye, yeah,
all right, here we go. We got a real band,
Little Oyster Cults. July twentieth. I know who they are.
They sing the god Zella song.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Yeah, then the Reaper too and that song too. I
don't know how many members are original and Bloyster Cull,
but you know they were a big deal. Jason Aldane
tribute on the twenty sixth.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Okay, country fanh The twenty seventh is a Frank Lower special.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Just get him tickets now.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Okay, Docin is going to be at SeaWorld. I've got
a second. I am literally going to text him right now.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
The twenty seventh of July. Docin at sea World. August second,
Bonjovie tribute August third, Avery Anna. Okay, I assume it
gets a country artist. The ninth is a Luke Bryan tribute,
and then maybe you guys know who this is. August
tenth is low Cash.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
I've seen them on epcots. Okay list before.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
All right.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Got a Fleetwood Mac tribute on the sixteenth, seventeenth.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
All right, here we go, throwing it back to the nineties.
Fuel and Lit both band.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Okay, like they like loaded this one up.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
It's like stage versus stage.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Yeah. August seventeenth, fuel In Lit. Then you got an
American Stones tribute on the twenty third and twenty fourth,
the twenty fourth of August. Lee Greenwood, Oh wow yeah
Lee Greenwood, Oh Proud America.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
Okay, let's go bump.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Bump that one.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
I don't know what else Lee Greenwood sings, but I
mean that's, you know, a pretty well known song right there.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
I texted Franklover, I don't think there's an original member.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Well, if they're called Doc and Don Dawkins got to
be in the band.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Cells if anyone is going to know it's him.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
I think Don Dawkin's got to be in the band.
You can't call the band Dowkin without Don Dawkin. I
get that George Lynch wouldn't be in anymore because those
guys hate each other. But I could see Don Dawkins
still being in Dawkin.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
Via the Wikipedia, it's Don Dawkin, John Levin, Chris McCarville,
and b Jay Zampa.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
See he's gonna miss out. He's gonna miss out on
seeing Don Dawkin. Well you ever seen Night Mary elm
Street dream Warriors?
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Yes I have.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
I was Dawkin.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
I know they have a song called dream Warriors.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Yeah they do.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
I'm seeing here that the the part of the tour
is George Lynds. He is on the touring guests What
again on the Wikipedia page?
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Okay, well, I mean I just left. Let lover no
give him the heads up. We got some original members there. Well,
you have tickets, you can take him?
Speaker 2 (21:54):
I could, I could, and maybe I will.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Well I'll tell him right now that you were gonna
take him. Well, I don't know if I have free tickets.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
I know, I just I just texted him, now you
are taking my free tickets?
Speaker 2 (22:03):

Speaker 2 (22:07):
It does say George Lynch twenty twenty till present is
touring lead guitar. Wow. Yeah, Well all right, lover, there
you go.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
You two will be spending a good day together a
zer world.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Do we have anything else we need to hit on
briefly before we wrap the show.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Up very quickly. Two Disney things.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
One is that the Disney least a official Star Wars
galaxy map.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
Okay, it's really cool looking.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
I've spent way too much time looking at it, all
the planets and stuff. There's a planet missing from it. Oh,
BOTSU not on it.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
I thought you were going to say yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
But no, Botsu, which is the whole Like, no, it's
part of canon.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
This is why you can't have Darth Vader here.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
No bought to weird? All right, I will look at
that though.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
And lastly, the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District has planned
for and effectively approved a fifth theme park for Walt
disney World.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
All right, so we're getting our own new park. Don't
get too excited because it's part of a twenty year plan.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Yeah, and uh, it's not allowed before twenty thirty five.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Oh jeez, I'm gonna be dead by that.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
But it's allowed before twenty forty five.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
Okay, but apparently this has kind of been in the
like approved since twenty ten.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Okay, Dickerman, you'll be retired. I will be when that
plan is complete. Right, I'll be working at Walmart. It's
a greeter if I'm lucky.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Here's the thing. Just add more rides at your parks
and you don't have to do this.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
It's another option too. Yeah, I get another park.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
There's plenty of land.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
That is true too. They're gonna need, you know, like
greeters at Disney World, that's true, or security guards because
those old security guards at Disney. Don't do anything.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
No, no, very very quickly, I fucking fifth said, I
saw a thing. They have thirty six watercraft part of
the compromented transportation at Walt Disney World. You could be
one of the boats.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Oh, the boat captain. I would love that.
