because you finally got on a ride that you have
been waiting again on. We have we have kept quiet
about this thing because none of us gotten to see
it yet. Yeah, and that is the Harry Potter, the.

Harry Potter Battle of the Minished and the Battle at
the Ministry, which is an elevator themed dark ride.

So not a roller coaster.

Is it like the Broomstick Ride?

No? Okay, imagine Spider Man. Okay, I know that ride,

And you're in the Ministry of Magic.

You're inside the Ministry of Magic because it's a trial
for Dolores Umbrage and she attempts to escape.

to do in England the first time we went, one

Could she escapes and there's all sorts of death theaters battling,
you know, our trio, and it's really fun.

it's like imagine Spider Man mixed with the beginning of
Tower of Terror, you know, not the drop part when
you're but when you're moving around.

It's a mix of screens and practical effects.

Okay, it's it's really good. It's a it's an amazing experience.
Let me ask you this.

Okay, So considering all the amazing rides there at this
new park, right, say you've got one shot to go
to the park, all right, you've got you got one
day to spend and you're there. You're looking at lines
and you know a lot of them are reasonable. This
thing's you know, it's been the long one, right, Say
it's two hours. Is it worth maybe missing two other
rides to hit this one ride? If you're only going once,

like a one time deal.

The way I would try to stack it is, if
you're gonna go rope, drop to close, make it be
the last thing that you do.

Yeah, so you don't miss out on doing anything.

You didn't like it. If it closes at nine o'clock,
you get in the line at eight fifty seven and.

Just well try to ask the team members, hey, like,
are you going to kind of close this line early?

Well, sometimes it gets a capacity.

I know that was happening during the previews, so it
might be different now that now it is completely open.

My favorite trick at Disney was it didn't matter what
the ride was. As long as you got on five
minutes before the park closed, You're getting on that ride.

I mean this was happening to the previews when the
ride wasn't as reliable, so they kind of made it
spil So when I got in the line, it was
a two hour and fifteen minute wait okay, and I
just was like, you know what, I'm gonna go do it?
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah, because you haven't done it yet.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I hadn't done it yet. I've done just about everything
else that I wanted to do. And as I was going,
I got I got a butter beer, I had a podcast,
AirPods in like I'm ready for this, and then as
I'm getting in I see a team member I was
just like, hey, can I ask you a questions? Like yeah, yeah,
is the single rider line open? And she was like
she kind of did the like the look around and
she's like follow me.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh oh.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
And she was just like if anyone asks, tell them,
and she's like, my name in my station and tell them.
I said it was okay, so you know, I get
in and it was the single rider line was actually closed.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Okay, all right, So but she did you a salad. Yeah,
she didn't have to do that special universal experience exactly. Yeah,
so shout out to her.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
She was.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
She was an amazing person.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
I'll have to like when I get a survey thing,
I will definitely shout her out for making my experience better.
Speaker 2 (06:57):

I waited an hour.

Forty seven minutes okay for the single rider all right,
I feel like I missed out on some queue stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:08):

Yeah, I mean I'm in a hall will like I
was in a hallway for most of it.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, that is the thing, Like you always want to
go through the Q first if if at all possible,
you want to go the first time so you could
see an experience it all. Then when you just want
to ride the ride, it's a single rider or go
through the back hallways and absolutely climbing through the boiler room. Well,
what Scott did is exactly what we did for Rise
of the Resistance, not Rise of the Resistance, because we

went through the regular.

Line, the regular ride for both of them.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
No, the first time we went on Smugglers Run, we
got shuffled out of the line. Remember, yeah we did
ride single rider.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah unintentionally. Yeah yeah, yeah, that first one was a
crazy scene, but yeah, it really was.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, it is important to see the queue.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, and it is an amazing queue.

Like and there's also cool experience where you use the
FLU network where you walk through the fireplace and transport you.

It's really fun.

There's little out that a Harry Potter Q at Universal
is not going to be fantastic because they don't do
anything small when it comes to that IP. It's always
huge and massive and immersive.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
And here's the thing. I know you're like, oh you
in an hour and forty seven minutes. Here's the thing.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
As I got in the line started raining, Oh indors,
I was indorged the entire time that the rate happened. Yeah,
so and by the time I got out, the heat
was gone.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
The humidity was gone.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
I mean it was still like eighty two degrees, but
when it's been ninety five, I'll take it. And then
it was overcast for the rest of the day.

Yeah, so it was. It was good.

And for anybody cursing Scott as an elitist media member,
they got to go for free. He's bought all of
his tickets.

I have a good I have now spent six hundred
dollars now going. Oh I mean because I've gone three times.

Yeah, yeah, I mean it's of your own it's of
your own money and your own tickets.

The only thing I've not paid for is parking because
I'm an annual pass holder.

Yeah that's that's that's a deal. But me, I don't
like to pay for.

Par Before it, before I left, I popped over to
they have a chocolate.

These are butter beer flavored caramel filled barrels.

Oh my, And for those at home, this is in
a clear packaging and the chocolates or I guess the
butter beer flavored fudge or whatever it is are shaped
like little barrels. Yes, like a barrel, like almost like
the barrel that they take the butter beer out and
when you go to the sand Crab or that donkey
Kong throws it or that donkey Kong throws at you.

So I feel like, you know, we make it a
thing of trying butter beer items.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
On the show. Oh boy, So all right, I mean,
I'm not gonna argue with you here. I'm gonna try one.
I can get this guy out of here, come on, buddy, Oh.

My god, I can get I just got a whiff
of them.

It's all right, Dickerman Audiences are used to long wait times. Yeah,
it's fine. They're in line for this. Oh my god,
that's straight up to It's like the butterscotch. It's on

They're gonna make so much money and butter beer items
at Universal, They're just gonna be rolling.

I mean they could. They could fund the steam Park
on butter beer items after Halloween. Harnit's butter beer. I
feel like, mm hmm yeah, or at least Harry Potter.
This is amazing. Yeah, it really is.

I have had this for a week just setting in
my house. No, it's like yelling at me, like the
Green Goblin mask. It never would have survived it never
would have survived my ass and be like, oh, you
guys tried to get them, but you know they ran out.

I would have told you guys about it.

I also wanted to make up the last thing that
I bought.

I didn't want a chance at melting, so I went
to the candy store at the front of the park.

And this is at like eight point fifty five and
the park was at nine. So I'll make hoofing it
across to make it back.

Okay, very good, thank you for sharing a little experience

you're looking for something sweet inside Universal and your butter
beer fans, it's really good. I do recommend and.

I did not see that at the City Walk store
because they're selling a lot of butterbeer items.

They're in butterbeerd itself. You can get at that store now, yeah,
Or if you want to bring home a something for
someone at home, that you can go and they're big
Harry Potter fan.

Yes, Scott. You think they'll start doing that thing like
seven eleven does on July eleventh, where you can bring
any item you want and fill it up and fill
it up.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
No, because of people like him, what.

I can't bring a thirty two gallons trash can you've
stood out beforehand.

Sir, you don't count as a vessel. You can't stick
your head under the nozzle.

But also while I was there very quickly, I finally
did the Bowser Junior key challenge in Super Mario, where
you have to do different ask with your power up band.

You have to get three keys.

And then you can go do a challenge where you
can battle Bowser Junior. Two of the challenges were very easy.
One was like the hardest thing I've ever done. It
took me five attempts.

You have to time hitting one of the blocks so
it pow thing hits a shell to knock out a
koopa troopa.
Speaker 2 (12:23):

And I was just like I was just always off.
The timing was always off.

Just like when you know you originally played the first
Super Mario and then really the first few, you know,
it was all about timing and if you didn't have
that timing right, you know you're going nowhere in the game.
Oh yeah, And that that controller was getting fired right
at the.

Cons oh yeah, yeah, getting blasted against the drywall. Forget it,
But I did. I did Mario Kart Bowser's Challenge again.
I did Yoshi's ride. I was able to do the
Monsters and Chain ride three times. Oh wow, nice twice.
I was the only person in my car I did
sing It was a ten minute wait.

That ride is just so efficient and I will now
say it is fully operational. Every effect was working now
on that ride, So they've really like like dialed it.

In fully armed and operation.

Fully armed and operational, And I like, I love the
Ministry ride. I'll need to do a couple more times
to really soak it all in. The Mantra's ride, I
think is still my favorite. I was not able to
do Start as Racers. It never went blow with sixty
minute wait oh. And when it's like I've done everything,
Like when I've done everything, there's still some.

Other like things I wanted to go experience. I went
to the.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Astropub, which has burgers, and it might have the best
burger I've ever had in the theme park.

Yes, it was very good. High praise, I know, and
high praise, but it was it was, it was delicious.
I got there.

I got there at one o'clock, left at nine, and
I feel like I've done again. This is my third
time going, but I feel like I did not like
miss out on anything.

there before. It's like super like it's still hot hot.

But yeah, I I did see Epic Universe on group on.
It was funny because it's like retail press, like two
sixty nine on sale on groupon two fifty five. Wait
a minute, five bucks, I just buy it from Universal.
Never mind.

I mean, I know, I know it's hot. I know
it's raining in when it rains, like they there's a
lot of outdoor rides.

It now really is the time to go because it's
only going to get busier. Yeah, and I know it's
it's expensive to do it. If you're going with someone
that's a passolder, you're gonna at least save out on parking,
so that will make a little bit of a difference. Yeah,
So if you if you have the means, I really
recommend going now.

I'm no way to the fall. I'm my first not
to be so hot. Yeah, it's like Satan is crop
dusting us right now.

It's not again like I feel you. I was there,
so I know how bad it can be.

I work with, her and her husband and go take
them a SeaWorld because you know, Seawell gives you the
free tickets all the time when you're a passholder, and
they've been wanting to go. I'm like, all right, I'll
meet you out there tomorrow. We'll go in because you
got to you gotta escort the minute. So I'm gonna
I'm gonna see how I do tomorrow. I imagine I'll
last about thirty minutes.

been waiting again on. We have we have kept quiet
about this thing because none of us gotten to see

Harry Potter Battle of the Minished and the Battle at
the Ministry, which is an elevator themed dark ride.

So not a roller coaster.

No, it is not a roller coaster at all.

Is it like the Broomstick Ride?
Speaker 3 (03:17):
No? Okay, imagine Spider Man. Okay, I know that ride,
but way bigger. Okay, way bigger.

And you're in the Ministry of Magic.

You're inside the Ministry of Magic because it's a trial
for Dolores Umbrage and she attempts to escape.

She's the bad one, right, she is a lady.

Yes, she's the one that takes over Hogwarts and the
Order of the Phoenix.

to do in England the first time we went, one
of them is Dobby's resting Place.

so you're there, and you know.

Chaos ensues.

Could she escapes and there's all sorts of death theaters battling,
you know, our trio, and it's really fun.

It's really cool.

I don't want to give too much away, okay, but
it's like imagine Spider Man mixed with the beginning of
Tower of Terror, you know, not the drop part when
you're but when you're moving around.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, it's like that.

It's a mix of screens and practical effects.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Okay, it's it's really good. It's a it's an amazing experience.
Let me ask you this.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Okay, So considering all the amazing rides there at this
new park, right, say you've got one shot to go
to the park, all right, you've got you got one
day to spend and you're there. You're looking at lines
and you know a lot of them are reasonable. This
thing's you know, it's been the long one, right, Say
it's two hours. Is it worth maybe missing two other
rides to hit this one ride? If you're only going once,

like a one time deal.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
The way I would try to stack it is, if
you're gonna go rope, drop to close, make it be
the last thing that you do.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah, so you don't miss out on doing anything.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
You didn't like it. If it closes at nine o'clock,
you get in the line at eight fifty seven and.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Just well try to ask the team members, hey, like,
are you going to kind of close this line early?
Speaker 2 (05:32):
They don't know. No, they're not allowed to close the
line early.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Well, sometimes it gets a capacity.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
I know that was happening during the previews, so it
might be different now that now it is completely open.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
My favorite trick at Disney was it didn't matter what
the ride was. As long as you got on five
minutes before the park closed, You're getting on that ride.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
I mean this was happening to the previews when the
ride wasn't as reliable, so they kind of made it
spil So when I got in the line, it was
a two hour and fifteen minute wait okay, and I
just was like, you know what, I'm gonna go do it?
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah, because you haven't done it yet.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I hadn't done it yet. I've done just about everything
else that I wanted to do. And as I was going,
I got I got a butter beer, I had a podcast,
AirPods in like I'm ready for this, and then as
I'm getting in I see a team member I was
just like, hey, can I ask you a questions? Like yeah, yeah,
is the single rider line open? And she was like
she kind of did the like the look around and
she's like follow me.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh oh.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
And she was just like if anyone asks, tell them,
and she's like, my name in my station and tell them.
I said it was okay, so you know, I get
in and it was the single rider line was actually closed.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Okay, all right, So but she did you a salad. Yeah,
she didn't have to do that special universal experience exactly. Yeah,
so shout out to her.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
She was.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
She was an amazing person.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
I'll have to like when I get a survey thing,
I will definitely shout her out for making my experience better.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah.

I waited an hour.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Forty seven minutes okay for the single rider all right,
I feel like I missed out on some queue stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Oh probably.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah, I mean I'm in a hall will like I
was in a hallway for most of it.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, that is the thing, Like you always want to
go through the Q first if if at all possible,
you want to go the first time so you could
see an experience it all. Then when you just want
to ride the ride, it's a single rider or go
through the back hallways and absolutely climbing through the boiler room. Well,
what Scott did is exactly what we did for Rise
of the Resistance, not Rise of the Resistance, because we

went through the regular.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Line, the regular ride for both of them.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
No, the first time we went on Smugglers Run, we
got shuffled out of the line. Remember, yeah we did
ride single rider.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah unintentionally. Yeah yeah, yeah, that first one was a
crazy scene, but yeah, it really was.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, it is important to see the queue.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, and it is an amazing queue.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Like and there's also cool experience where you use the
FLU network where you walk through the fireplace and transport you.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
It's really fun.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
There's little out that a Harry Potter Q at Universal
is not going to be fantastic because they don't do
anything small when it comes to that IP. It's always
huge and massive and immersive.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
And here's the thing. I know you're like, oh you
in an hour and forty seven minutes. Here's the thing.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
As I got in the line started raining, Oh indors,
I was indorged the entire time that the rate happened. Yeah,
so and by the time I got out, the heat
was gone.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
The humidity was gone.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
I mean it was still like eighty two degrees, but
when it's been ninety five, I'll take it. And then
it was overcast for the rest of the day.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
That's nice.

Yeah, so it was. It was good.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
And for anybody cursing Scott as an elitist media member,
they got to go for free. He's bought all of
his tickets.

I have a good I have now spent six hundred
dollars now going. Oh I mean because I've gone three times.

Yeah, yeah, I mean it's of your own it's of
your own money and your own tickets.

The only thing I've not paid for is parking because
I'm an annual pass holder.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah that's that's that's a deal. But me, I don't
like to pay for.

Par Before it, before I left, I popped over to
they have a chocolate.

Oh what is that?

These are butter beer flavored caramel filled barrels.

Oh my, And for those at home, this is in
a clear packaging and the chocolates or I guess the
butter beer flavored fudge or whatever it is are shaped
like little barrels. Yes, like a barrel, like almost like
the barrel that they take the butter beer out and
when you go to the sand Crab or that donkey
Kong throws it or that donkey Kong throws at you.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
So I feel like, you know, we make it a
thing of trying butter beer items.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
On the show. Oh boy, So all right, I mean,
I'm not gonna argue with you here. I'm gonna try one.
I can get this guy out of here, come on, buddy, Oh.

My god, I can get I just got a whiff
of them.

It's all right, Dickerman Audiences are used to long wait times. Yeah,
it's fine. They're in line for this. Oh my god,
that's straight up to It's like the butterscotch. It's on
top of it. It does.

They're gonna make so much money and butter beer items
at Universal, They're just gonna be rolling.

I mean they could. They could fund the steam Park
on butter beer items after Halloween. Harnit's butter beer. I
feel like, mm hmm yeah, or at least Harry Potter.
This is amazing. Yeah, it really is.

I have had this for a week just setting in
my house. No, it's like yelling at me, like the
Green Goblin mask. It never would have survived it never
would have survived my ass and be like, oh, you
guys tried to get them, but you know they ran out.

I would have told you guys about it.

I also wanted to make up the last thing that
I bought.

I didn't want a chance at melting, so I went
to the candy store at the front of the park.

And this is at like eight point fifty five and
the park was at nine. So I'll make hoofing it
across to make it back.

I gotta get this butterbeer candy. So you could only
get this in the ministry imagine.

Well in the Paris area of the Harry Potter Portal.

Okay, very good, thank you for sharing a little experience
with us. Scott, no problem that is. You know, if
you're looking for something sweet inside Universal and your butter
beer fans, it's really good. I do recommend and.

I did not see that at the City Walk store
because they're selling a lot of butterbeer items.

They're in butterbeerd itself. You can get at that store now, yeah,
Or if you want to bring home a something for
someone at home, that you can go and they're big
Harry Potter fan.

Yes, Scott. You think they'll start doing that thing like
seven eleven does on July eleventh, where you can bring
any item you want and fill it up and fill
it up.

No, because of people like him, what.

I can't bring a thirty two gallons trash can you've
stood out beforehand.

Sir, you don't count as a vessel. You can't stick
your head under the nozzle.

But also while I was there very quickly, I finally
did the Bowser Junior key challenge in Super Mario, where
you have to do different ask with your power up band.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
You have to get three keys.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
And then you can go do a challenge where you
can battle Bowser Junior. Two of the challenges were very easy.
One was like the hardest thing I've ever done. It
took me five attempts.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
You have to time hitting one of the blocks so
it pow thing hits a shell to knock out a
koopa troopa.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
And I was just like I was just always off.
The timing was always off.

Just like when you know you originally played the first
Super Mario and then really the first few, you know,
it was all about timing and if you didn't have
that timing right, you know you're going nowhere in the game.
Oh yeah, And that that controller was getting fired right
at the.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Cons oh yeah, yeah, getting blasted against the drywall. Forget it,
But I did. I did Mario Kart Bowser's Challenge again.
I did Yoshi's ride. I was able to do the
Monsters and Chain ride three times. Oh wow, nice twice.
I was the only person in my car I did
sing It was a ten minute wait.

That ride is just so efficient and I will now
say it is fully operational. Every effect was working now
on that ride, So they've really like like dialed it.

In fully armed and operation.

Fully armed and operational, And I like, I love the
Ministry ride. I'll need to do a couple more times
to really soak it all in. The Mantra's ride, I
think is still my favorite. I was not able to
do Start as Racers. It never went blow with sixty
minute wait oh. And when it's like I've done everything,
Like when I've done everything, there's still some.

Other like things I wanted to go experience. I went
to the.

Astropub, which has burgers, and it might have the best
burger I've ever had in the theme park.

Yes, it was very good. High praise, I know, and
high praise, but it was it was, it was delicious.
I got there.

I got there at one o'clock, left at nine, and
I feel like I've done again. This is my third
time going, but I feel like I did not like
miss out on anything.

I mean you're missing a lot of you're you're getting
there before. It's like super like it's still hot hot.

But yeah, I I did see Epic Universe on group on.
It was funny because it's like retail press, like two
sixty nine on sale on groupon two fifty five. Wait
a minute, five bucks, I just buy it from Universal.
Never mind.

it's raining in when it rains, like they there's a
lot of outdoor rides.

It now really is the time to go because it's
only going to get busier. Yeah, and I know it's
