Speaker 1 (02:04):
A free ticket to a theme park.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
I will be going to.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
You don't donate blood regularly. I don't like typotive.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
That's the kind that they use to save babies. I
know you, it's not It's not missed on me, Jimmy.
I just I the needles scare. I don't like needles
like Scott doesn't like clowns. You don't like roller coasters.
I do not like needles.
Speaker 1 (02:28):

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, they do encourage costumes here, that's right.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
And you're not going around the neighborhood knocking on strangers

I'm just waiting for the weather to cool down because
I want to do the thing that Jimmy did with
the sloths or not.
Speaker 1 (05:32):

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Good for them. I like it. I like to see
these guys get creative.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Then we've got brick or treat for some Halloween fun
at Lego Land.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Oh leg I feel like Lego Land gets forgotten sometimes.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
I don't know why I.

Feel like that, because I bet you it's like very popular.
I mean, kids love Legos.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
It's them part just kit for not just kids.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
It's not just not just kids seven years old.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Minifigs, you don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
I will give you a pro tip on Lego Land,
take note of where you park your cars. That's the
only theme park I've ever lost.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
My car at.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Really, is it still there?
Speaker 4 (07:35):
I think we were excited and I was just like,
I get done. I'm like, I didn't take any note
of where I park. I have no idea where this
car is in this sea of cars.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Guarantee that's not the first or last time you've lost
your car.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Definitely isn't the last time.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
No, after that, I took note. Every time I will
text it to myself. You guys know this.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
You've been to a theme park with me. I have
to text myself the lot and the row so I
can find my vehicle. And that car was old and
I didn't have the beat beep, so I just had
a wander.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Can I read off some of the specialty foods that
they have at Lego Land at wool for brick or Treat.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Okay, I swear brick or treat sounds like like a game,
like teenagers play people's windows on.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Halloween Sunday, da los s wuertos.
Speaker 1 (08:24):

in pumpkin sugar and served with a side of creamy
salted caramel dip, served in a souvenir lego mini fig pumpkinhead.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I like these.
Speaker 3 (09:13):

and their heads.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Freakin' Fries Granny's apple fries topped with homemade pistasho ice cream,
chocolate drizzle, to buy chocolate pieces and toasted cadaffee and

Speaker 2 (09:42):

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Yeah, uh what'd you say? What what'd you say that

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Oh yeah, I can. I can beat that. Yeah, my
guy's eighty.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
That's not beating it. It's beating it for him.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Finders fee mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yeah yeah no, so that's Lego Land was like yeah,
it sounds like it's stuff a Lego land.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Uh and then uh uh. Lastly, for the family friendly,
Uh screaming Green Haunt a ween at the Crayola Experience.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Ah man, the crew. I used to take my daughter
there when she was little. That was a fun little place.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
You got crafts, scavenger hunt, character appearances, dance parties, paint
with glowing melted wax.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Oh that's fun. People love that when they bring it home. Yeah,
that's that's good for the little little ones. Little little ones.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
The creole experience and my personal experience, I think you
know once say.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I've never been there.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
No, No, it's neat. It's a neat little place. Yeah,
I mean it's over. It's over at the Florida Mall.
So you got to deal with that.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
But you know, but it has doesn't have a separate entrance,
Like don't you not have to go into the mall.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Let's get its own entrance, gotcha?
Speaker 2 (11:25):
What the less time have been to that mall?
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Yeah? So those are some good options for people with
little ones.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
You can still get your Halloween in, but not give
your kids, uh trauma that they have to deal with
later in life.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
All right, you is that is that your way of
segueing over into uh.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Yeah, let's let's give our older kids, Uh, traumatic experiences.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
All right, this event already going on a petrified forest right.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
There in Altamont Springs right out four thirty six, a
homegrown event.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Uh. They always do a fun job out there.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
I mean they take this this plot of land and
uh and convert it into a Halloween experience.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Three trails for the price of one.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
We've got Yes, Cousin's Cafe, which is always served family style.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Oh. Oh, you're gonna hear some banjos when you go
through that thing.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yes, yes, you will.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Then we've got Templars Toy King enter the Mall of Madness.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
I'm interested how they'll do that. A mall outdoors, an
outdoor mall.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
I just want to read this little bit of the
of the description. As urban explorers, you slip into Templars
Toy King, an anchor store that leads into a decaying mall.
It feels like time has stood still here. A strange
unease settles in as you pass through the aisles, but
your curiosity pushes you deeper into the mall.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
I am obsessed with urban exploring in like old malls
and old buildings.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
We don't encourage it though. At the Theme Park Podcast
we don't encourage.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
I don't actually do it, but I think it would
be so fun. But yeah, this sounds neat.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
You know what my dream was to explore River Country.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
River Country, yeah, back in.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
The day as it is, you know, but I'm pretty
sure they've cleared all that land, so.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
But what it was was when they closed the River Country,
they just shut the gate and left everything there just
like it just stopped.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
It was frozen in time. I mean there was a
drink cup still in one of the stations there.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Every now and then you can like somehow there's pictures
that come out on the Internet of like what Stitches
Great Escape looks like now because it was a thing
that just closed, or the Wonders of Life Pavilion where
like Body Wars was.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Then lastly there's Rancid rentals Real to Reel.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Okay, what do we think the theme is on this
one video story?
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Oh video? Okay? Because I was thinking it was audio?
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Was it fishing the logo VHS beta He's faking?
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Hey, fake that Jimmy in.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Blu Ray Okay, all right, I'm I'm curious what that
one's gonna look like.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
And when the tapes are overdue, You'll pay the late
fees with your life.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
It's a it's a fun uh, it's a fun experience
out there in Altamont. Like you said, there's three trails
to go down, Affordable, good time out there, Petrified Force.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Yeah, and and if you go onto their website, they
have some really cool like uh themes that they do
for certain for certain nights.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
Mm hmm yep, yeah, different nights, different things they have
like a blackout night. They have a night where it
is all lit up.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
And yeah, they've got the the blood moon on the
twelfth mm hmm h two nights are the total Eclipse night.
There's a special needs night and it will actually because
Halloween is on a Friday, also be doing it on
the November first.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Okay, on the Saturday.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
And when you go out there, they usually have you
park like kind of down the road like at this
place called Adjectives in this parking lot, and then you
ride this bus over but no no charge for parking,
no charge for the bus over there.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Then you take the bus back to your car and
you're done for the night. Also, they have laser tag
that might be a new addition. I don't I don't
know that. I saw that in the past.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Yeah, they have laser tag, they have an escape ride,
they have an immersive theater experience.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Wow, they've up the experiences out there.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
They have a they have a chicken necklace or a
chicken lanyard less than the scares.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yes, yes, they do offer that.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Yeah, so the people aren't quite so in your face,
I think.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
So that's petrified forest. Okay, all right, quiz time. I
do this quiz every single year at this time. Oh no,
where is Dade City?
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Oh my god, Jimmy, Florida.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
It's West Florida, Yes it is. Is it below Tampa,
just minutes from Tampa. All right, it's where you can
experience Scream again.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
In one of these days.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
We need to go over to Scream again. So we've
been talking about this thing for like ten years now.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Six attractions, one location.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Right there in Dade City. You can find it in city.
You can go to Scream Again, but you gotta find
it first.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
It has a zombie paintball assault.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
That sounds Wait, do you get to shoot the zombies? Yes?
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
It's a school bus that they've taken out the windows.
They have mounted paintball guns. Yes on turrets yep, And
then you just.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Now is it zombies like people or zombies like like cutouts?
Speaker 1 (16:50):
No, people, human beings, it's even more fun.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Well, they're not human beings, they're zombies. Yeah, so it's
whatever you consider zombies human.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
I've been shot with some paintball paintball guns before, and
I hope they have proper padding on their on their outfits.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
You can't be taking paintball shots on long Can we
go paintball?
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Like?
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Well, can we go? People?
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Like I still have all my gear, Like, I'm ready,
like whenever you guys want to go, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Really I really want to shoot Dickerman in the neck.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Yeah, let's go, let's go, let's go.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Po would you do that? That means a sensitive area?
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Well, I mean if we're on the same team, then
it's not going to happen.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Oh, it's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah, like or wado paintball is like right by you, guys, it.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Is even if the three of us are on a team,
by the end of the game, it will devolve into
the three of us shooting each other in sensitive areas.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
No, not that I accidentally shoot my teammates anyhow, so
I'm not even gonna shoot you on purpose.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
I just will it.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Do you guys wonder why I never played Grim Theft
Auto with you guys?
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Yeah, because we started playing missions and then we have
a successful mission and we come out into the rest
of the park or into the rest of the map,
and then it would just oh, hello, break loose.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
All right.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
A couple more events we have faced the fear.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Okay, I've heard of this one.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
This is I believe in Winter Springs.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Okay, that's close. That's not Date City. I know where
Winter Springs is.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Yes, yes, you do. This is uh two nights. Yeah,
it's right off of four thirty four.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Okay, and to do it? Is it a place?
Speaker 2 (18:27):
It's a place, okay, right in Winter Springs. And let's see,
it's at the church at four thirty four.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
You wouldn't expect that one. Welcome, that's a discouraged at
the church.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Welcome to guard Gate Gator Guard House, an immersive outdoor
fear attraction that transports guests to a long abandoned prison
where the legends of former inmates and the remnants of
their desperate escape still lingers on the premises.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
I almost just want to go just because it's at
a church, just to see what they're what they're willing
to do at the church.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
I mean, they gotta have some some guardrails there.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
This event only has three nights to go do it though,
oct Chember twenty fourth, twenty fifth, and the twenty sixth.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
Maybe like the deacons out of town those that every year,
So let's do.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
This at the church.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
I mean their website does say it's PG rated.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Okay, well, good good.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
I mean that's that that almost could probably land you
in the family section. Not the little kids, but you
know that maybe you know, twelve year old kids.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Then there is Fear Ranch Scream Park. Okay, this is
in two Varies.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Hey, that's not far. That's the seaplane capital of the world.
I like Tavaries. Actually, it's a nice area over there,
just past man.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Do Yeah, three hundred attractions and they have a pitchfork
parlor and bar, live music and midway.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Hmm. That sounds kind of neat. I might go check
that out this year.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
You you you should hang on. Let me pull up
uh schedule Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Okay, all right, I'm where can I where can I
find all this valuable information.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
