Speaker 1 (00:01):
From the theme park Capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
This is the Theme Park Podcast. Wait podcast?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Is this all radio?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Anyway?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Hey there, and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. Dickerman here,
there's Jimmy D. Who are you guys? And Scott Harris.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
I had my birthday party at McDonald's.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
That's what your shirt says, your birthday party at McDonald's.
Happy Birthday, Scott.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I had to like pay so much to get this
delivered on time because of when I found it.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I you know, you find it close to your birthday
and you get you got to pay that premium if
you want it on a certain day. I really did money,
well spent.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Should have just bought it when I bought the horrid
night shirt that I because it was from the exact
same website, same way.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Yeah, that's the worst, because then you paid twice for shipping,
didn't you.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, exactly why that hurts? And well, actually I bought
two shirts the first time and then this one, and
they had a deal by to like get a third
for like a discount.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Oh you missed that.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I missed that as well.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Oh yeah, that just that stings all around. Yeah, yeah,
you did not do that efficiently.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
If you guys only know how inefficient. So much of
my birthday was it is stackering.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Well, you did spend your birthday somewhere. I don't think
it was actually McDonald's. It was Halloween four Nights right.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Well, the actual day itself was at Epic Universe.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Well, that's a great way to spend your birthday.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Except in the time, and I planned all of this
to the time of my birthday. A ride was closed
and then reopened, yes, And because it reopened, people started
mass going back.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Oh yeah, okay, so yeah, so like everybody's excited to
go get on the rods was back open again.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
And I had been tracking this and I'm like, oh, like,
I can get a ticket whenever. I can get a
ticket whenever. And then when I'm at Cabana Ba, because
I say Cabana Bay for my birthday, I'm picking up
my Hornite tickets and hey, while I'm here, can I
like buy a ticket to Epic Universe for tomorrow? And
they're like, hey, let me take a look. And they're
like it's sold out.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Oh, it's sold out.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
And so I'm like, well, what can we do?

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Yeah? Can you How can you help a guy out here?
I know you guys like money, and I got money,
So let's let's make a deal.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
And I'm like, I'm a passolder and it's like, no, no,
there's nothing of ailable.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I'm staying at Cabana Bay. It's my birthday, guys.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
And then it was like, what we can do is
you can buy a two day three park. Oh good god,
but it includes Epic Oh wow? And I you guys
know how my brain works.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
I do.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I am so dead set on this.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
You're gonna do it. You're gonna even though you holder.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Even though I'm well, no, no, I no, no no.
I was like, I you still have to buy a ticket.
You still have to buy a ticket for Epic Universe, right,
But this was the only way I would be able
to go to Epic Universe on that specific day that
I wanted to go.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Right, So you had the extra two tickets for Universal
on Islands obviously, so you could could someone else besides
you use that? Oh good god? How long are they
good for? Uh?

Speaker 2 (03:22):
That it was my birthday? And then two more days.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I physically feel pain for you on this one. That
one would just it would it would not my soul.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
It was so like, why didn't I just buy this tickets?
And now I'm just like, the moment an idea pops
in my head, I'm buying the tickets immediately.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Now it's got to happen.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
It's just it's just an instant purchase.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
And you got to do that when you go to Japan,
because like we got there and everything was sold out.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, well it's why I'm glad I've like pre booked
like everything that I want to do already.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
You're going to try to go to Nintendo or is
that okay? Not even going to that city not gonna happen.
So Birthday at Epic Universe, Yeah, good day.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Good day, great day. Minus the rain at the end,
because the whole reason I want to go was because
it's open till ten o'clock now, and I wanted to
like see the windmill on fire and the way everything
looks at night.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
And it didn't look like the rain was gonna clear
up before ten.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
No, it started to get really bad around nine. At
that point, I'm just like exactly, yeah, and so many
of the rides are outdoors there like it just it wasn't. Yeah,
but I got there on like three o'clock and was
able to do almost everything that I wanted to do.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Nice on a soldout day. That's pretty a sold out day.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Oh, I'm well. It turned out everyone
was in line for Ministry Magic okay, two hundred and
ten minute wait.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
They were just there just waiting all day for that
one ride.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Or Donkey Kong MINDCRT Madness, which I think had a one
hundred eighty minute wait.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Oh okay, all right, so yeah, so that meant you
can get anything else. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I I walked on to Monsters unchained every single time. Wow,
I've talked about this, right, is so efficient. It's just
super efficient and it's awesome and it's awesome. And then
I walked right on to start as Racers. Wow, Like
both times. I'm surprised about that. I'm surprised because I
thought that that would be a big rush to get
on that. It was the day that it reopened, okay,

(05:21):
the day that it reopened, it had a two hundred
minute weight okay, And that was also a little because
it had rained that day and so once it reopened.
There was there was that, but yeah it was. It
was a great day. I love that park. Pro tip
remember sunscreen? Oh yeah, don't do what I did, which

(05:41):
was I changed fanny packs and and the sunscreen was
in the other one.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
See, I'm surprised with you paying premiums in by that
forty dollars can of sunscreen at Universal when.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Your pasty complexion. You probably wait, did you buy it?
Did you buy it?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Did you buy it? You did?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Was there at least a care twenty seven dollars? Oh
my god?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Oh twenty seven dollars for a sunscreen?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
You know what has happened to me this year? I
really have to like pay attention to these things.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Yeah, no, I don't blame you. I don't blame you.
But that's another one. It stings it.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I just looked at my credit card statement today from
my birthday weekend.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Yeah, you had a lot of stuff and pay extra
for a lot of stuff, and yeah we declaring bankruptcy soon. No,
it's fine, it's fine, Well it we'll be fine. It's
everything is great. Well. Also part of your birthday weekend, yes,
a visit to Halloween hornetce. You had a couple of visits.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
I went.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
I went twice, you guys went once. Yes, we'll start
with you guys. But two nights you went. Neither of
us were there the night sex.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Yeah, I w I went on Friday and Sunday. You
guys went on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
I had you would have been there on Saturday, be
at a soccer game.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
To come and wh tickets weren't good for that day.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Oh that is another good reason. Yes, So I'm glad
they made the tickets work for you that.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I don't know how it was, Yeah, exactly, magic. It
just happened to be that way.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Magic. It's good.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Sabrina there on the Sunday.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Okay, So I saw Jimmy briefly. We met up briefly.
Jimmy tackled me in line. He found me before I
found him. M hmm. And uh. We got to go
through one house together, which you guys do We didn't change, right, yes,
which turned out to be my favorite house. There we go. Yeah,
I had gotten there very early in today. I got
there very early in the day with the plan to

(07:31):
go to Universal and Islands. Then I noticed the tickets
are gonna be good for a couple of days. I'm
like you know what, let's let's spend another day where
we can go. Let's go tomorrow and we'll spend the
whole day and do the whole thing instead of just
a couple hours. So we saved them. We went and
had lunch early dinner, I guess, and we got in
line and we sat Moe's and Panda Express. We didn't

(07:51):
do any we we thought about doing like hard rock
or something, and then she's like, Eh, let's just do
this and spend less money.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
You go check out the hot dog place to keep pouting.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
No, no, I didn't go to the hunt on plans
really good. Yeah, I just didn't make it. You know.
It's the kid was with me, and that was like
we did the thing. We did the thing that people do.
You just wait in front of the park for it
to open for like two hours.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
You waited in a line.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
We waited like we were like some of the first people,
just like can't kind of hanging out waiting there.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Did you get to see like the like all the
stuff that they do at Gate. Oh that's always so
much fun though, Yeah, that makes it worth it.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
Yeah, in the crowd, I mean it's fun that you
guys know because We've been out for the opening of
Star Wars and we know how fun it is when
you get like in that crowd. It's just the excitement
of energy. So like any little thing that would happen,
any sound goes what they're going out And it was
a sea of people. Like when we sat, there's a
couple people around us. By the time it was like
it was like walla wall, like you're at a concert
standing in front of the stage.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
In the beauty of when we have gone. Now the
sun goes down at like seven thirty, which really helps. Yeah,
the atmosphere of everything.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Yeah, weather it was great that day. So since we
got in so early, we're just chipping off houses super quick.
Now we did have the express pass and that was helpful,
but we're just boom house house house, so like we
hit all the houses right in the front. I know
that's against the advice we give, but since we were
the first ones in and we had express like just
do it.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Well. It's it's weird because because of the construction and
removal of Ripride Rocket, you kind of have to just
do all of those right then and there. Yeah, it's
such an isolated area.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Yeah, I did feel a little cliche because I'm basically
following what they want you to do. I'm following the
exact path they want you to do it. I'm going
in now. Jimmy, your entrance was different because you guys
came a little bit later.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Right, we were at the back of that pack that
you were talking about. Okay, the mass of people, because
we got there right at six thirty.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Okay, all right, so you got there, yeah, because they
did not open till six thirty because the crowd was
so the crowd in the park that day was it
was so full. The guy told us, He's like, yeah,
like it could be six but with this crowd today,
it's going to be six thirty. And they did not
open the doors till six thirty. They'll open them early
if they can, but they couldn't. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
And when we got when we finally across the threshold,
we went straight back to fall out.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
That's a smart way to go because the way we
normally advise people to do. I wanted to ride it twice.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
So we were like, we get basically one free fast
pass by being there at rope drop, so where are
we going to spend it?

Speaker 3 (10:19):
So we did fall Out. Then we went into the
one next to it that was the doll.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
The doll, No, it's like Gulkan.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you're aalk.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
It's kind of like a valkyrie, kind of like frozen
kind of thing going on there. And then we went
right back to fall Out and use the express pass
that time.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
And it was it's a different experience each time you
do it because you catch different things at different times. Right.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Yeah, there was a ton of characters that either didn't
jump out the first time or I just didn't notice
the first time. Yeah, like the robot that tries to
cut up big eyes. I didn't notice him the first
time I went through the house. In the second I
was like, oh that's cool.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Yeah. Yeah, that's the thing. Most people probably don't get
that opportunity to go through a house twice and see
it differently each time, just because you know, it's the
long lines, so you're waiting to see these things, and
it's always a sold out event and people are excited. Yeah,
so that was the one you were most excited for,
was Fallout, But it didn't end up being your favorite house. Now, honestly,
it wasn't esteemed out as I would have liked it.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
To be.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
I think sometimes when you have those like big ips
like you're maybe you're little like the creative minds maybe
are a little bit less limited or a little more limited,
I guess than they can't give them when they can
just go buck wild with some of these things.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yeah, I always contend that those houses are very much
like in the Five Nights of Freddy's House. I thought
was kind of the same thing, where it's like this
is more of like an immersive experience where you're in
the world of whatever property it is.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
I did really like that Five Nights at Freddy's House.
They did a great job.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
I mean, the Henson Company did all these animatronics, and
like I thought it looked amazing.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yeah, yeah, I thought it looked great. All the animatronics.
Is you get to do Five Nights of Freddy's Yes,
that was the last house. And how'd you like that one?
I I thought the animatronics were great. I haven't seen
the movie, so okay, it didn't you know, some of
the stuff didn't land with me, but I did love
the animatronics. Yeah, yeh. Kids are our kids are super

(12:11):
into Five Nights of Friday's.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
It's the longest wait it's the longest. It has been
the longest wait. Yeah, for the entire runs. Yeah, it's
the first when we went to.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
That's actually really funny because when we made it back there,
we did the Terrifier House and I will tell you,
on average, we waited four to six minutes, yeah, four
a house. When we got to Terrifyer we had to
wait thirty minutes. And then we went and did five
nights of Friday's and I was like, oh crap, we're
gonna have to wait forever, and no, it was four minutes.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Or six minutes. Yeah, And that's this is the testament
to those express fast as I know. They are expensive.
They're actually more expensive than the tickets to the park.
But if you want to see everything, you get them.
You will see everything.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
If you're only going one time and you can afford
to do it, it is so worth it.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
Yeah. It's almost like video games now, like you can
buy like a video game and you can buy all
the extras if you want, or you can play through
and earned them slowly over like two years. Yeah. So
it's it's do you want the cheat code or not,
because it's basically a cheat code.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I have to say actually I can't. I can't say it,
but that the house. It was so good. It's so
good it annoys me how good it is.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
That was my favorite. One terrifier was my favorite house.
It was. It was long and they went through all
the themes like I still haven't seen the movies. I know,
I promise I don't have to watch them. I kind
of have to watch them now. And the Christmas theme
gets in there. It was so good.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Oh my god, there's just like I have like PTSD
of like the smell in that one section.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Oh god, that smell was awful.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
I know. Well that's what I mean.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
I felt all the houses smelled all What was the
smell supposed to be? Was it supposed to be like
human flesh or something? I didn't know.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Well, it's like waste.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Okay, all right, I was like, what is it's so bad?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Yeah, well in the movie, that's what it is, Okay,
obviously that's not what it is in the house.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Yes, yeah, they do like doing weird smells. Like years ago,
remember they had like a farmhouse theme and it was
like manure. I think they just have a fun time.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Well, they had one with they were like like three
or four years ago, they had like a Texas chainsaw one.
It was like a weird barbecue.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Ye, yep, yep. Didn't they I don't know if you
guys remember the one they did what's the Christmas Horror
of the crampis? Didn't they have one that had like
a nice cookie smell? I thought, yeah, okay, so that's nice. Okay,
we can go back to the cookie smell anytime if
you guys want.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
We all did wet path though, right, yes, okay, good
wet path and me a wet path.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
I did the wet path and it just seemed gratuitous.
It didn't like it didn't to me. It didn't serve
the house.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Yeah, I liked it. I didn't care.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
I have questions about the people that came out smiling.
Did they not have the same experience that I.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
You're not a clown guy?

Speaker 2 (14:47):
I am not a clown you. I saw him three
times in the park.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
I did not like that. He is. He is a
devilistically clown.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Willy will give you that, Yes, he is.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Did you make it through the wwe house the bray Wyatt?

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (15:00):
I did.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
I did. Ever I did, I did all of them.
I thought, did you're the one that one you're the expert,
explain to me the why at six?

Speaker 3 (15:07):
See, I don't. We'd have to ask Rick that one
because I stopped I had stopped watching wrestling. But I
did recognize more than I thought I would. I was
telling my daughter as we're going through, I'm like, I
don't really, I don't really know this stuff anymore. I
know who Bray, whyittt is? I watched that documentary on him,
and I guess because I watched the documentary, I knew
a little bit more than I thought.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I knew nothing.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
But I thought it was a really nice tribute to
the guy because the guy passed away. He was a
young guy. He had a heart attack, you know, sad story,
in the prime of his life. So I thought. I
thought the house, it was a great horrorhouse, but it
was also a great tribute to that guy, so I
thought it was cool.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
I thought the house that was the most ridiculous in
a good way was the Jason one. So many Jason's
well and like not to the when people do it,
they'll know what I'm talking about. But that part, yeah,
at the end, He's the most ridiculous thing that I
have ever experienced.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
I'm going to give spoiler to the audience, to the
people that have not been to Halloween.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Hartnet's there is no Jason in space.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Correct, No, there is no Jason X.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
You know, we had the same thought because I'm going
through I'm like, I saw the burn Jason, that's what everything. Oh,
I want Jason in space. And there was Jason X.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
And I was complaining to you about it as we
were going out of the queue, and I saw a
cast member hear us, and she just started laughing.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, I'm sure they've heard. I'm sure they've heard that
so many times.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
There were so many Jason's. I found myself wishing I
had counted the Jason's yea and counting what weapons he had,
because he had so many different weapons. You'd see him
with a hammer, you could see him with a machete,
he'd have an ax over here.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Oh, I forgot to tell you. So when we're walking
up to the Terrifier House it was the second house
that we did of the night. When we're walking up
to it, there's a shift change happening.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Oh so so it's just.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
A parade of arts walking towards me.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, we saw shift change. But it
wasn't the it wasn't the clowns. Oh my god, that's
a way I was.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Hence, after getting out of that house, you.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Said you saw him wandering the park too. I did
not get that experience.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yes see I did. I saw him three different times
wandering the park, one time as Santa and two times
in his regular garb.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Oh that's fun. I did not see any of that.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
And then sometimes he's on his little tricycle.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
Oh really, Yeah, dang, I heard that. I heard a crowd,
heard the horn applauding, and I was like, oh, is
art out? It turned out it was security kicking out
line jumpers.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Oh good good. People around them were applauding. If you
want to jump the line, you pay for express like
everybody else. Exactly. So the scare zones. I thought the
scare zones were excellent this year.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
I I feel like the construction kind of hurt the
scare zones a little bit because they divert so many
people to a specific area of the park.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah, you know what I mean. I was. I will
say I think I only went through two of them.
I did the nineteen twenties one, right, was that nineteen.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Like the the Mummy the Go.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Yeah, I thought that was cool. I thought that was fun,
and I loved the crazy cat like.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Carry's Cat Lady was awesome. It had a mini scares
or mini house in its scare zone, and it had performance.
It had a little walk through thing.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
The giant cats. Did you go through that one, Jimmy,
I did, and I was. I did like that.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
They had basically extended that scar zone out of the
normal path into like that little animal actors area.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Yes, yeah, I was surprised because I'm like, wait, is
this thing still going? Yeah, I thought I entered a
different scare zone, but it was just I was still
with the cats.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Yeah, it was pretty awesome.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
And there was the performance that took place from the
Cat Lady. I thought that was neat. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
I did find myself hissing at any other actors.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
I just I wassisting at people do making cat sounds.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
But it was yeah, it was that was that was
that was fun. I like that.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
One My favorite scare zone was Mel's driving.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Oh the car hops on the roller skates and everything.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Yeah. See, I don't know if I made it over
there or by the time I made it over there,
I was partially crippled because I'm just old and walking
eighteen thousand steps causes me great pain.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Oh my god, I've looked at my steps for all
the days that I was at the parcel. How did
I do this? And then I'm like, I'm practicing for Japan?

Speaker 3 (19:12):
Yeah we did. Ours was eighteen thousand for a night
at horn Nit's, which was beyond my limit. By the
end of the night, my daughter wanted to go get
the five Nights at Freddy's cupcake. I'm like, you will
go spend ten or twelve dollars on a cupcake. That's fine,
but I'm sitting here and you're going to get it
because I'm not walking any further away from the exit
than I have to right now?

Speaker 2 (19:31):
All right? What foods? What foods did you all get?

Speaker 3 (19:34):
We just got the cupcake in the park.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Yeah? We only got the cupcake, but it was good.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
I got the deep fried we ate at the dolls
at the Dolls stand, yep, And I got the deep
fried PBNJ.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
That's what I got that as well.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
It was awesome. It's delicious. I mean, it's just an
uncrustable that was deep, but.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
It's got like a chili flakes in like a maple,
I think, like a syrup on top.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Of Yeah, it was like a spicy maple here. It
was delicious. Don't get me wrongs to seem like they're
made to be deep fried, though they are just begging
to be deep fried.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yeah, to be honest, are you air fry like air
for like any kind of fry?

Speaker 4 (20:10):
And then we got the chicken tends there and yeah,
that's my language.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
We got ya.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
This is where you're gonna get off the bus. We
got the garlic marinera sauce one.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Same good.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
I try that. That sounds good.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Yeah garlic, yeah, yeah, okay, well that was fantastic, Like
and I even said to Lauren, I was like analyzing
the chicken tender. It was so perfectly cooked, Like really,
it's got like the crunchies little nodules all on the outside,
but then the inside is just you know, moist and
juicy chicken.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
It's just like perfectly cooked.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
We got uncrustable chicken tents, both walking tacos.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Oh, walking tacos, so the.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Vegan one in the burial one, and they were both
delicious as well.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
Yeah I don't, I don't. I didn't think about food
at all. We were just so focused on hitting all
of our houses. You also thought the food, Yeah, you
also ate before, that's true. Yeah, we did eat before. Yeah.
I wasn't in the plans, but that's what happened. I
don't even think we were hungry when we ate. I
ate Panna too.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Whether we got pizza skulls Oh, very good.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Yeah, sounded good.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Good vessel. Good vessel.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
For My trouble was finding some of these places, Like
I had to figure out where she wanted this cupcake.
I had to figure out where this cupcake was.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
Yeah, because the that's one thing you you would think
that if you had the Hunted House at the restaurant.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Or the right outside of it.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
No, no, it's not another part of the park.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
So that way, if you're there for with your particular fandom,
you have to spread it out.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah, Like the Clown Cafe uh Terrifier food stand is
over in like the central park area with like four
other stands.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yeah, but like.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
That's Fallout is over there, but the fall Out House
is behind Men of Black.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
The Cupcake which was for five nights at Freddy's that
was set up over by Jason.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Well, it's in the Louis Pizza Place, which I guess
makes sense because there's the pizza with spaghetti on top. Okay,
it's a thing from the movie.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Oh, I didn't know that was the thing. I didn't.
I should have gotten that. I should have made the walk.
I was just too tired.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
And then Jason's restaurant was on the bridge, like in
that little hub. Yeah, I said, like a camp camp
Crystal Lake like foods or something.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Yeah, I should. You guys told me about the foods,
but I just was so laser focused on houses. There
were so many tender items.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Did we like hammered into your head for like six
straight week.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
You're one hundred percent right, But we were so laser
focused on the houses, and by the time we got
through all the houses, I was like toasts. I was done.
I was like, Grandpa needs to go home, get in
the get some icy hot and get out of here.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
I feel that. Yeah, wear your best walking shoes. That
is that is a recommendation anytime you go to a
theme park. But you know, especially for Halloween Hornet's.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
So pace yourself. Yeah, if you have a chance to
sit down, have a snack.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Do that. Yeah, get don't do like me stop and
stop and take a breath.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Actually, if you have express pass, you have all night
to get there and just like fill your time wisely.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I say this last year when when Jimmy and I went,
we did every house before midnight and we stopped for
like an hour and a half to eat. We never
felt rushed that night. We did have Express But.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Yeah, I didn't pay myself. I just it was a sprint.
It was a sprint the whole way. We sprinted the
whole way.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
You don't need to do.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
That, Yeah, well we kind of did because we were like,
you know, we have a semi new dog, and yeah and.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Poor Oreos all alone. Oh yeah, yeah, everybody knows that
feeling get home, he's probably lonely.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
Well, warn had me buy two more security cameras, and
now there was like you cannot walk through our house
without the phone blowing up like you're having a telethon
over like notifications that somebody's in the house.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Yeah. Yeah, So and he behaves himself when you guys
leave the house. Yeah, oh yeah, he's a he's a
good boy. Good He's not like that dog I saw
on the on the internet today that got a lithium
batteries at the house on all right. That happens a lot,
and she's the dogs like oh, runs up the stairs
like I was never here?

Speaker 2 (24:11):
What me?

Speaker 3 (24:12):
All right?
