Shamrock Shake and Monopoly, which is of course infamous here
in Orlando because the people that ripped off the Monopoly
game were of horse from here.

Let's get into the theme parks. Hey, Jimmy, you actually
went to a theme park twice? Twice? I know, in
a week.

You took our mice and went to enjoy the nice
weather at the theme parks.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Well, I actually took Friday off, and I will tell
you taking a Friday off randomly that just recharges you.
It is so nice just having that forty a week.
But we went to the Parisian breakfast at Chef's de France,
and is that.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
The fancy one act is that the fancy restaurant.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
Yes, that's the restaurant that they sell the s cargo
and you probably will never eat in there.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
No, I actually yell when I walk by.

Do they still do? The guy that stands on the
chairs outside.

I have not seen him in years, but I don't
but you know what I'm talking about. Oh yeah, ok yeah,
but that's like during the day during like peak.

I don't know, you know, that's what I mean. Yeah,
I actually lost, but just like one of the casualty
lost during COVID.

I should say that clearly, so you know, I know.
Dickerman's like turning his nose up to all this. I'm
just wondering if there's anything on this menu that you
would eat? Okay, yeah, I want to hear what they have.
This is a buffet. Yes, it is a buffet, but
it's you know, all you can eat, and they're they're very,
very smart, and what they do is every you know,

there's only one seating. It's at nine am, it's from
nine to ten thirty, and it's all you can eat
and all you can you care to drink, and that
includes champagne.

you're good there. And then they yet, I mean, too
many carbs for my from my you know, upcoming outfit choice.

Yeah, freshly baked baguettes of French dams, and they had
a raspberry jam.

expect more and like, to me, I don't know that
this is worth it if you're not going to partake
in the alcohol part.

Yeah, that's one hundred percent now worth it if you're
not doing the alcohol. I never go somewhere where like
alcohol is like a key, like, hey, this is a
great part of the deal.

Yeah, cheese is and CHICUTTERI okay, do you know what
meats and such meats and cheese occisional cured meats and
premium cheeses.

Yes, And then oh wait, smoked salmon. This is probably
where you get off the boat. I'm off. I'm off,
just like samon off the train.

Salmon is so good for you, though, it really is.

for you. You got to try it on a bagel. Withers.

for you. Go we're looking out again. We are recommending
healthy food options for you. Yeah, no, I don't want it,
and you are turning your nose up.

But us, I absolutely am salmon on a bagel. And
Caper's the only thing that goes on a bagel is cream,
cheese and maybe some jelly. Or if you want to
make an egg sandwich on that thing with some bacon,
then it's okay.

Too, James, I know you left off a thing. I
just want to reinforce unlimited mimosas also on the menu.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
Yes, Marvine are he was our waiter and he had
just gotten here from France. He's at the college program
and he was fantastic and he always made sure our
mimosas were topped.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Off what they do. You also have an option with cranberry.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
I was going to ask what juice you did, because
I know sometimes at the Disney places you can get
like you can choose which one you want.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Yes, and you could, and you know, we all started
with orange juice because that's you know, that's the standard.
And then I saw that they had like cranberry juice
ones on the counter at you know, at the bar,
and I was like, we're gonna get around to those.
It's really good. I never would have thought to put
cranberry juice with champagne, but it's fantastic.

Yes, like that they have the people from the actual countries.
In the countries. I think that really adds something to it.
Like you get a legit Frenchman there as your waiter.

It's an immers It kind of just immerses that little
bit more.

anything else while at the park? There at Epcot is
just eat and leave? You know. We we walked around
a little bit. Oh uh? Or were you blacked out because.

We were there and I was home? No?

No, we were walking around and then we were with
another couple, the other Harrises, you know, Mike Harris and
him and Lauren are like, let's go on test track,
and I'm like, no, because I was test track. Oh yes,
I was very full at this point and there is
no motion sickness going at you know, I can't suppress

motion sickness with a full stomach.

You know what the perfect ride is in this situation?

Breaking news, well it's not really breaking now, but at
the Polynesian at Traders Trader Sam's Grad Grotto, they released
the zombie Santa Claus mug and I'm holding it up
right now. If you're watching at.

Home things wild looking, man.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
It kind of looks it's very like I know, it's
a different part. It's grinch green, which I like it is.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Well, it's you know, this is one of the best
mugs they've ever done. And I'm going to tell you
why it's because there's two real like camps you have.
You have like those high gloss tiki mugs from like
the sixties and what you know, traditionally you've seen at
Trader Sam's, and now they're gone towards more of like
a semi almost matt finish. This has both like anything

that's green on this mug, like his face, like all
the details of the head and then they whereas on
the other side the holly leaves, those are all Matt finished.
The rest of it is high gloss, and the blend
of the two is such a wonderful thing.

Do you use them? I don't remember if I've asked
you this, Like do you use your tekis.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
For any kind of tiki drinking event? Yeah? Okay, you
know it's just like for a bowl of cereal or
like coffee in the morning.

Now it depends, like when I first get a mug,
I might use it like just to drink water out
of during workday. Yeah, for you know, the first week
or whatever, and then it goes up on the shelf.
But this is Christmas theme, so I'm thinking about like
once Christmas is over, the Christmas tikis, because I have
three of them, will get packed up and they'll go
up on a shelf or something and they won't come

out again until the you know, next Black Friday.

went to a theme park twice? Twice? I know, in
a week.

You took our mice and went to enjoy the nice
weather at the theme parks.

Well, I actually took Friday off, and I will tell
you taking a Friday off randomly that just recharges you.
It is so nice just having that forty a week.
But we went to the Parisian breakfast at Chef's de France,
and is that.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
The fancy one act is that the fancy restaurant.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
Yes, that's the restaurant that they sell the s cargo
and you probably will never eat in there.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
No, I actually yell when I walk by.

Do they still do? The guy that stands on the
chairs outside.

I have not seen him in years, but I don't
but you know what I'm talking about. Oh yeah, ok yeah,
but that's like during the day during like peak.

Oh yeah, yeah, not a last second out of COVID.
I don't know, you know, that's what I mean. Yeah,
I actually lost, but just like one of the casualty
lost during COVID.

I should say that clearly, so you know, I know.

just wondering if there's anything on this menu that you
would eat? Okay, yeah, I want to hear what they have.
This is a buffet. Yes, it is a buffet, but
it's you know, all you can eat, and they're they're very,
very smart, and what they do is every you know,

there's only one seating. It's at nine am, it's from
nine to ten thirty, and it's all you can eat
and all you can you care to drink, and that
includes champagne.

you're good there. And then they yet, I mean, too
many carbs for my from my you know, upcoming outfit choice.

Yeah, freshly baked baguettes of French dams, and they had
a raspberry jam.

Yeah, but for this price point, I think you would
expect more and like, to me, I don't know that
this is worth it if you're not going to partake
in the alcohol part.

Yeah, that's one hundred percent now worth it if you're
not doing the alcohol. I never go somewhere where like
alcohol is like a key, like, hey, this is a
great part of the deal.

Yeah, cheese is and CHICUTTERI okay, do you know what
meats and such meats and cheese occisional cured meats and
premium cheeses.

Yes, And then oh wait, smoked salmon. This is probably
where you get off the boat. I'm off. I'm off,
just like samon off the train.

Salmon is so good for you, though, it really is.

for you. You got to try it on a bagel. Withers.

Yes, Oh god, that sounds so gross.

It's so good, it's so good, and it's so good
for you. Go we're looking out again. We are recommending
healthy food options for you. Yeah, no, I don't want it,
and you are turning your nose up.

But us, I absolutely am salmon on a bagel. And
Caper's the only thing that goes on a bagel is cream,
cheese and maybe some jelly. Or if you want to
make an egg sandwich on that thing with some bacon,
then it's okay.

Too, James, I know you left off a thing. I
just want to reinforce unlimited mimosas also on the menu.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
Yes, Marvine are he was our waiter and he had
just gotten here from France. He's at the college program
and he was fantastic and he always made sure our
mimosas were topped.

Off what they do. You also have an option with cranberry.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
I was going to ask what juice you did, because
I know sometimes at the Disney places you can get
like you can choose which one you want.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Yes, and you could, and you know, we all started
with orange juice because that's you know, that's the standard.
And then I saw that they had like cranberry juice
ones on the counter at you know, at the bar,
and I was like, we're gonna get around to those.
It's really good. I never would have thought to put
cranberry juice with champagne, but it's fantastic.

Yes, like that they have the people from the actual countries.
In the countries. I think that really adds something to it.
Like you get a legit Frenchman there as your waiter.

It's an immers It kind of just immerses that little
bit more.

anything else while at the park? There at Epcot is
just eat and leave? You know. We we walked around
a little bit. Oh uh? Or were you blacked out because.

No, we were walking around and then we were with
another couple, the other Harrises, you know, Mike Harris and
him and Lauren are like, let's go on test track,
and I'm like, no, because I was test track. Oh yes,
I was very full at this point and there is
no motion sickness going at you know, I can't suppress

motion sickness with a full stomach.

You know what the perfect ride is in this situation?

the Polynesian at Traders Trader Sam's Grad Grotto, they released
the zombie Santa Claus mug and I'm holding it up

Home things wild looking, man.

It kind of looks it's very like I know, it's
a different part. It's grinch green, which I like it is.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Well, it's you know, this is one of the best
mugs they've ever done. And I'm going to tell you
why it's because there's two real like camps you have.
You have like those high gloss tiki mugs from like
the sixties and what you know, traditionally you've seen at
Trader Sam's, and now they're gone towards more of like
a semi almost matt finish. This has both like anything

that's green on this mug, like his face, like all
the details of the head and then they whereas on
the other side the holly leaves, those are all Matt finished.
The rest of it is high gloss, and the blend
of the two is such a wonderful thing.

Do you use them? I don't remember if I've asked
you this, Like do you use your tekis.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
For any kind of tiki drinking event? Yeah? Okay, you
know it's just like for a bowl of cereal or
like coffee in the morning.

I might use it like just to drink water out

or whatever, and then it goes up on the shelf.
But this is Christmas theme, so I'm thinking about like
once Christmas is over, the Christmas tikis, because I have
three of them, will get packed up and they'll go
up on a shelf or something and they won't come

Finnegan's Bar in Grill closed temporarily closing for a nearly
year long renovation.

doing today.

That's the thing. I know a lot of people, you know,
I know I have I have several friends that are
die hard to this place, and it very much is
a Diehard bar for horror nights, and it does not
seem like it will be reopened for horror nights next year.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
Oh that is unfortunate. Ye find another bar?
Speaker 2 (20:11):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (20:12):
What o their bars do they have?
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Like Finnigan's is the only one I really know, a
universal kind of the pharmacy for ice cream. Finnigan's for
a bar, I don't know. I don't know where else
you might like go and like city Walk.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
I know, but I'm thinking in the park itself.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
I mean, yeah, you don't want to be out with
the cometers in city Walk.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Well, no, the thing is, if you're going to horror nights,
like you'll have to go to just one of the
bars that they pop up.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Okay, yeah, they still sell the blood bags.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
No, I did not see them. I did not see them.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
I haven't seen them in the last two years. Yeah, whoa, Okay.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Yeah, now I didn't see them, and I didn't see
like people walking around doing like selling shots as well shots.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
Yeah, they used to do the shots all the time too.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Yeah, didn't didn't see either of those. So, yeah, Finnigans,
if you want to go, go over the next few weeks.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Because it's yeah, over a year. It will reopen eventually.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
It will.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Yes, January twelfth is when it will be uh closing.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Okay, so you've got a few weeks beginning of the year,
gett you're in luck after that.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
And should say, speaking of the holidays, if you go
to Island's Adventure and you see that the Grinch is there,
and you see that the wait time is under four
hours getting the line?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
What oh yeah, by what's going on with the Grinch?
Everybody wants to meet him? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Literally, it's it's literally not just he always has a
very long line.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Huh. I remember just being able to catch the guy
every once in a while, just like walking through the
park back in the day.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Well, things have changed, not so much anymore, not so
much anymore.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
Did you see that Jim Carrey and Taylor Momson reunited
from the from the original Grinch? Yes, not the original,
but you know that, you know their version of the Grinch?
Speaker 2 (21:57):

She re recorded this Cindy lou whose songs too oh weird.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
I kind of want to go find that now.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Yeah, yeah, I think she did, like a whole record,
the whole Christmas record.

And we didn't mention this last week, but Dagwood's the
Blondies restaurant in Tune Lagoon reopened.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
Okay, good. I hope they have a true dagwood there,
because I felt like the sandwich they offered to should
have been bigger. Like if you've seen the Blondie cartoon
that things.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
If you see the thing on the outside of the building.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Yeah, I mean there's a fish in the middle of it,
an entire fish.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Do you want some of the new items that they have, Yes?
Speaker 3 (22:32):
I do.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Mac and cheese bowls okay, all right, with pulled pork
inside of it.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Delicious.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Umm, that's that dagwood sandwich, a chopped Italian sandwich.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Okay, it's good.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
And a ruben barbecue pork slider. So go check that out.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Yeah, I mean it's good. Quick serve over in that
area of the park when you're over there, in that
watery zone where everything gets you wet, Yes, that that
hole that hols. You can't walk through there and not
get wet. It's just it's just how it is.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Do you ever jump up and stick your head in
this thing that's're shooting water out like a geyser?
Speaker 3 (23:12):
No, I have not.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
I do always take a picture of Kathy when they
go through that area though act.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Yes, all right, that's Kathy. That's Kathy, right, Yeah, I
