give them too much of many chunks of money, not
too many thousands at a time. Otherwise they're going for
the weekend and they're not going to see you for
two three days.

But I feel like you get to hire the right
contract because all look the guys that I've had, like
it was deb like just ahead of time we're paying.

And third with this guy was supposed to be there
in January, he's now showing up in December.

I think it depends on the timeline and how quick

They've started. Everybody has showed up when they said they should.
Now the only person who hasn't. The painter was supposed
to come to give us a quote over the weekend,
told me he'd be at the house at a certain time,
and not only did he know show, but I text
him and he just didn't respond to me. Mind you,
we were going to do the painting. The fireman was

going to do the painting himself. But I was like,
why don't we just get a painter in here, give
us a quote, see like what it would look like
and if it's something, if it's small money, let's just
do it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
So it's all, you know, we don't have to deal
with that. But the guy no show.
Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
But other than that, like this morning, plumbers were supposed
to be there this morning. Fireman said, they showed up
all time. With our project manager. We're moving like we're
moving in the right direction.
Speaker 5 (01:13:44):
It's just so, what's the timeline now for everything to
be done?
Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
He's saying December twentieth.
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
Which is which is ahead of time, right?
Speaker 2 (01:13:52):
I mean it was supposed to be a four or
six week job. So yeah, about four weeks.
Speaker 5 (01:13:57):
Okay, I it's not FAB. I'll be honest with you.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
Valentine's chocolate, my marriage. My marriage won't survive it. I
can't because we're in the full sized bed while this happens.
Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
Don't trust your guy. He already was He's already slacked
like a month and a half, almost two months to
come start the job when he was supposed to FAB
a lot of that. Think about FAB. Just think about that.
Speaker 4 (01:14:28):
I don't want to think about times because I'm telling you,
like last night it was I don't know midnight. We're
wide awake every time somebody moves because we're down in
the guest room.
Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
It's a full sized bed in there. Like, we won't
survive it.

We plan number one and then these guys are just

It was supposed to be done by the time I
moved out, which is what the sixteenth still not done.
It's looking like another week. So even my appliances, like
I went to homewn what are you getting done? I'm
getting my kitchen my and in the bedroom and I'm
getting my bathroom done. Oh wow, today, how do you
extend the bedroom? Because it was it was it was
next to another room and the bedroom was too small.
I'm basically removing the wall, eliminating that and just making

it one big bedroom.

Wow, that's nice, it's sweet.
Speaker 5 (01:15:13):
Does it look like they're making like headway though? No, no, no,
they're doing a lot of headway. But again it's not
it's not really them that has the problem. It's like
a lot of things that have been ordered have been
delayed now all of a sudden. Okay, for instance, I
bought a fridge and I bought a dish washer, right
supposed to show up on Saturday morning. This past Saturday.
They call me Saturday morning, Samsung does and it's like, oh,
(01:15:33):
we have a delay in our shipment. We won't show
up until Friday. Maybe you're doing a build that stops everything.
They do everything else around it, but they got to
now stop for five days the way for this to
come in so they can hook it up. And it's crazy, bro,
nothing goes as the way it is. I'm luckily for me.
You know, when they were doing the remodeling, we didn't
run into no issues with no mold or stuff like that,

which I've heard horror stories about. It's just again that
the sixteenth was supposed to be the date. I don't
think I'm going to be fully fully ready to be
in my crib, or at least my crib completely finished,
till probably next week Friday.

I'm bumming couches. I know where to uh oh yeah, what.
