Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wait, yo, hi, hello.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Short week.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Oh thank god.
Speaker 4 (00:17):
Thanksgiving is upon us. Thanksgiving it's overlooked, you know because Klaus.
But we have to have our time to sit down
eat our turkey.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
And I'm not going to do this here. But honestly, though,
when you really think.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
About I know we're but like, why don't we just
look at it as a day off?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Fine?
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Fact, you know, just didn't enjoy that respect though.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
I get the day is no good, but we still
got to be Nobody thinks about Thanksgiving. We went straight
from Halloween to Christmas.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
Everybody, No, it's I've everybody has seen that thing where
it's like Halloween Christmas, people stop down for the one
day for Thanksgiving back to Christmas.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
My house is pretty much like eighty five percent Christmas.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
Now I have a little bit of Thanksgiving was a big,
big deal. I mean I never celebrated back in Africa,
but when I got here, I was like, yo, what
is this doing that? And everybody comes over, Oh yeah,
eating till they full. Everybody, you know what I mean,
knocks out after people are chilling for the whole week.
It was a vibe. Now it's just another day.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
It's funny that you mentioned that that.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
Uh, I was gonna bring this up at six point thirty,
but we can just we could quickly chat about it.
Speaker 6 (01:23):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Nothing really grinds my gears.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
Like somebody walking around in fact, like a peacock with
their feathers out talking about yeah everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
But he eats a lot thanks eating me.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
I don't even like eat that much. I actually usually
lose wheat on Thanksgiving because oh, cap your stupid front
over here.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Oh yeah, yeah, no, it's not really that important to
I don't even eat that much.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, no, like, and I've seen he's not lying. I've
seen a quick.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
That people will like video his table and he'll have
just like a little slab a turkey up there.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
He doesn't have any the sides.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
He walks around bragging that he loses weight because I.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Think that Thanksgiving the dinner portion and the food is over.
It's over.
Speaker 5 (02:09):
It's yeah, I'm sorry, but is it?
Speaker 7 (02:12):
Though?
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Are you guys having that meal any other time? Like,
it's not over year.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
It's turkey with a bunch of sides.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Stopping mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green bean castro.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
What do you like?
Speaker 5 (02:25):
You also got to remember I got orders all his Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
That's right. I know.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
I don't know it has no seasoning.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
These years and years and years of this, I just
don't find like it's really that appealing. It's like, fine, we.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Left her last week. He was like, yeah, I'm just whatever.
Obviously it's a holiday. But you know, I don't I
don't even eat that much.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
I really don't.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I never asked.
Speaker 8 (02:51):
I don't care.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Like me, I wear sweatpants because my gun gets bigger,
and I am happy to do that.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Your walking around, mister peacock with the feathers out, trying.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
A bag, like yeah, literally he was. He was trying
to like.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Brag to me that he knew I was gonna put
on a few on Thursday and he's gonna lose.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
The appealing of stuff in your face till you can't
move in you sleep does not sound.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
It's yeah. I try to eat real light.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
I'll do maybe just a couple of eggs for breakfast,
and then I hold out.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
These people who are into fitness, who like diet, they
way up to Thanksgiving be like I gotta right and
then Thanksgiving I'm going crazy.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
But then it starts this whole thing of like a
month and a half of just gorging your body and
all this stuff, and I don't like it, and I
just don't do it because then it carries over to
the holidays and all the Christmas.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
I'm telling you and.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Open you know what, I think we could all diet
if we were sitting at that table to our diets. Yeah,
I'll take the one little slab of turkey. You keep
everything else. So there you have it, everybody Thursdays around
the corner. It sounds to be down to especial.
Speaker 9 (04:00):
With DJ four and Sony when you need to know, No,
we got you three things you need to know on
Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbags
you haven't any more.
Speaker 10 (04:11):
Five.
Speaker 11 (04:12):
It's tough you anytime you're losing. I think this, you know,
Like I've always said, I hate losing, woman. You know,
I really like to win, so losing sucks. And I
think you know, just you know, I told some we
got in silence.
Speaker 10 (04:24):
Just remember this feeling.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
That is what we call being at a loss for words.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Yeah, I actually hate losing more than I love winning.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Thank you for that. That was Drake May.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Monday, November twenty fifth, Pats take an embarrassing, embarrassing l
in Miami. Thirty four to fifteen was the score, tons
of penalties. Boston dot Com said, quote Simply put, Gerrodmeo
and the Patriots were not prepared and did little to
make Sunday's matchup in Miami a competitive affair.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
They made two a look like he was the greatest
quarterback on earth. Hell still concussom his concussions, and they're
just passing slinging it like all these guys weren't even there.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Here's after the game.
Speaker 12 (05:06):
We saw some fight at the end, which is encouraging,
But at the same time, this game you got every
single play, every single play counts. I thought we gave
him too many big plays defensively, did a better job
in the run game. They have too many big plays, tackling, skiing,
whatever you want to call it. Just overall execution defensively
just wasn't good enough.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Must stay out of the news.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
He probably didn't see that the Bruins coach got bounced
mid season.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
He's just living it up.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Am I the only one who like when I see
him on the sidelines, He's always looking off into the distance,
like kind of confused, like.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
He's thinking about his future.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
He doesn't hope for.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
He doesn't look confident like he's managing like the game
like he just looks like, oh no, we're like.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
It does seem like such a good dude too, but
it's just like at the end of the day, it's tough,
like you gotta win games.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
You just gotta win and thirty four fifteen and do it.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
They're back in action Sunday, taking on the Colts at
one a Lock. Drake making a very special surprise appearance
on x QC stream.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
You might be asking who he is. I don't know.
He is a Canadian streamer.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
He's twenty nine years old, obviously popular enough with the
twelve million followers that Drake was like, I'll do a
little sit down.
Speaker 13 (06:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Is he popular enough? Remember he sat down with old
girl and blew her up. Yeah, and she wasn't really
died big until she goes and he goes for the
small people and then blows him.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
He put Bobby on for yes, he did. You guys
remember the movie The Wedding Crashers. Yeah, you know the
Creek brother.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
The one who creeps into the bedroom.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
That is what excuse looks like that serious yes, yes, yes,
that's I'm like looking at him like.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Literally what he looks like. But anyway, Drake made a.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Couple of big time statements that are now going viral
as of this morning, one of which being he told
him he could play music roulette, which you know means
to play any song that comes up, except for if
it's the weekend, you have.
Speaker 13 (07:17):
To switch this song.
Speaker 14 (07:20):
It's all I have to switch this one. Really were
real sixers or real six is real six had? We
don't listen to that?
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Nah?
Speaker 14 (07:32):
Yeah, of course, what do you mean? Yeah, exactly, play
some Blink eight two. I want to hear that.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Okay, he wanted to Blink over the weekend because he
only wanted real sixers.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Do they have issues?
Speaker 5 (07:47):
Oh yeah, I thought they pieced it out, but apparently no. Apparently.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Drake also made it clear that he's good. He said
he's full intact mind, body, and soul. In case you
were one wondering you need facts to take me out,
fairy tales just won't do it.
Speaker 13 (08:04):
I'm Drake, this is execuc real streaming legend me. I
do music. In case you didn't know, I'm.
Speaker 14 (08:12):
Here, as you can see, fully intact mind, body, and
soul in case you are wondering, right.
Speaker 13 (08:17):
Mind body and soul mind body, and so you need
facts to take me out. Fairy tales won't do it.
Speaker 14 (08:21):
Cheers to everybody, words to live by it, real talk.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
That was the quick Kendrick dig right there, that fairy
tales won't do it.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
They won't take him out.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
In the in the stream. He also kept saying that
he's unbothered. He's too he's worked too hard to get
into the position that he's at to be bothered with
anything that anybody says. And you can he's not bothered.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Are you bothered? If you have to say you're under.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
Botherered, thank you showed up in All Black two the Funeral. Yeah,
he looks, he looks.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
I like the haircut, I I mean regularly, yeah, I
mean I never liked the the bows and the hair
cliffs ale painting.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Mommy didn't like that.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
But he's a hard dude, Broy. This thing has really
shaken him up. It's a different Drake nowadays. You know,
he's exued a lot of confidence. You can tell he's in.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
The cut now a little. You know, we haven't heard
from him like this or musically. We're waiting we know
he's working on something.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
And he's going to come back ball heavy.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Something's coming and we're all waiting. But speaking of his enemy,
Kendrick Lamar dropping a surprise album on Friday. The twelve
track collection is called g NX for do we know GNX?
Speaker 5 (09:32):
Yes, it goes after a Grand National nineteen eighty seven
Grand National call called GNX, which was his favorite call.
He has, I think a couple of them, so he
named it after that.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
Okay, it's a sixth album, the first since twenty twenty two.
It was a for real surprise. People were going nuts,
but he dropped it that like no, Yeah, it was
like a lunchtime album. There were no talks about it. People,
everybody was in shock. Jack Antonoff is listed as a
co producer. I'm pretty much every track. Sizza appears on
the album twice. A couple things to note. There is
(10:06):
a specific line where Kendrick addresses Lil Wayne. Obviously we
know that Wayne felt a type of way that Kendrick
got the Super Bowl over him for Do you have
that exact clip?
Speaker 5 (10:18):
Yeah, yeah, it's the first one, the one, the mural one.
Speaker 15 (10:21):
Okay, and miss my uncle Lamine. He said that he
would kill me if I didn't make it. Now I'm
possessed by a spirit and they can't take it. Used
to bump the carter through, I help my roly chain,
proud irony. I think my heart working a little Wayne
down whatever, though, call me crazy, everybody questionable, Tymy Conkimo.
I drew the line there's some most snoop Posty Tailor made.
(10:43):
I prayed it with the edibleles. I couldn't believe it.
It was only right for me to ready to go
on the super Bowl and now the only one congratulated me.
All the agitating I'm just glady show on the faces
quite frankly. Plenty the artists, but they outdated old ass
flows trying to convince me that you're their favorite.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
One thing that stresses me out, well, the's two things
that stressed me out about Kendrick Lamart. The way he
raps sounds like he's doing something weird.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
And it just like annoys me.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
The second thing is is he he's such like a
lyrical genius that I have to now break everything down
Like he doesn't just say it, but essentially he's taking
his first shot at Lil Wayne. Like I said, Lil
Wayne has been crying something serious about the super Bowl
back and forth, and basically he said, listen, I used
to love Card to three. I used to listen to
it all the time. But I think my hard work.
(11:31):
Let Lil Wayne down got the super Bowl and nos
was the only one to congratulate me. Wayne gets word
of this, obviously, so he responds on Twitter and says,
wtf I do. I just be chilling and they still
come for my head. Let's not take my kindness for weakness.
Let this giant sleep. I beg you all. No one
(11:51):
really wants destruction, not even me, but I shall destroy
if disturbed on me.
Speaker 5 (11:58):
Love, I'm ready for him. Please jump into the bull, Wayne,
I want to see this.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Consider I'll disturbed for you. Let's get it going.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Nah said he appreciates this shout out. He's always had
Kendrick's back. Snoop very quickly. So there was an AI
track that people said that Drake made called I think
it was called Tailor made Taylor made. Anyways, Snoop posted
it at one point during the beef. Kendrick mentioned that
in those bars, so Snoop goes ha ha, Well, you know,
(12:29):
he said, I actually.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Was on the Edibles.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
That was them.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
I love Kayot's new album, He's the West King.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
So there you have it, a little back and forth,
nothing crazy for and you had a chance to listen
to the whole album.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
What do you think?
Speaker 5 (12:42):
I love it? Very very good. Out the Gate he
started off with this one called wack Murial where he
addresses anything, and then after that is just laced through
a little distance. He's coming for any He's basically saying,
if you want it, you could get it. And I'm
the guy right now.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
What's this other clip you have for us?
Speaker 5 (12:55):
This is called TV off. This is the one that
went viral with the McDonald's reposting Nick every brand where
he yells, I mustard. Everybody's reposting that joint. It's kind
of fly. It's called TV off.
Speaker 16 (13:05):
All I have is wanted. What's a black grand national
being rational? Give them what they asked for? It is
not enough, telling but it's not enough.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
You better range them, but.
Speaker 10 (13:16):
It's not enough.
Speaker 16 (13:17):
Say you bigger than myself, but it's not enough.
Speaker 15 (13:20):
I get on the air.
Speaker 13 (13:21):
Yeah, nobody gotta door it. I mean mad, nobody gotta
door it.
Speaker 15 (13:24):
I sang bad watching the doors.
Speaker 16 (13:27):
We survived Outside off from the music.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
So like everybody does. It's two songs and one. I
don't know why they do.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yeah, they switch the beat up.
Speaker 13 (13:44):
Every bad but.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Somebody gotta do it.
Speaker 16 (13:46):
I'm an put up one of gas.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
But somebody's gotta do it.
Speaker 17 (13:48):
Turn his TV off, turns TV off, turn his TV off,
turn the TV off, turn his TV off, turns TV off,
turn his TV off, turns TV off.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
Mustard was the multi viral Donald's Diddy, you name him,
any brand was jumping on it was crazy. But yeah,
everybody loves the album. It's a dope album. It's got
some bops, it's got some some deep lyrics. But yeah,
for guy like Kendrick, like you said, he's layered, so
it's like it's going to take you like a month
to dissect everything he's saying.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
I think we can only expect to hear some of
this at the super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Oh absolutely, I think the whole thing is perfect.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
Especially yeah, yeah, yeah. He also I saw this trending
over the weekend. Never sits on a couch normally. People
were like, why does Kenrick not ever just sit normally
on a.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
Camp He's got some way.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Yeah, he'sluched on the top of the couch, not on
the actual cushions. I've never seen anything. It really reminds
me of how Travis Scott never looks up.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Yes, the same thing.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
There's three things you need to know for Monday and
November twenty fifth. Don't forget about the talkbacks. Guy's easy
way to connect with the show, especially if you can't
call down the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Just put jam In on and leave us a little
voice notes good morning, game.
Speaker 18 (15:00):
In morning show with d J four and it's saw
t morning Cousin's number one for hip hop jam In
ninety four or five.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Hi, everybody, good morning. It's so it's very interesting because
we get in this business pretty much the same question
over and over. Like if somebody could ask us any question,
they're usually going to ask us. What's what do you
think for? And how would you answer? Is the most
(15:28):
common question we get asked about our job.
Speaker 5 (15:31):
Maybe the hours, how many? I don't know the most
who have you met celebrity?
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Was?
Speaker 5 (15:35):
Oh, okay, I think that's the most common.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
The number one question for me is what time to
get out?
Speaker 3 (15:40):
It's a schedule.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
It's a schedule.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Maybe are fascinating yes?
Speaker 4 (15:43):
And to be honest, if I didn't work the schedule,
I'd be fascinated to like, what you get up at
three something in the morning?
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah, who have we met? Yep, that's another big one.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
What celebrities have been here? Or who have you bumped into?
Have you had so and so on? They rageous names.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
A certainly in my top five question that I get
which worked its way in a couple of years.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Ago, what happened with Maddie in the morning.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Absolutely, I feel like I had this conversation.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
I get it so much.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
From parents too around town.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
They always ask, oh, I know, I don't feel like that.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
I know because especially because they know that I always
worked in the same building with him, you know, and
they know that there was his retiring and his relationship
with Billy, And it all came to a head this
weekend because the Boston Globe wrote this article and they
interviewed Matt and.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
It was like insightful.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
So I wouldn't say he went off, but what I
gathered from the article is that he is desperate to
be friends with.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Billy, absolutely, and he made it very clear that they
had a falling out, which I think which might have
been the first time where he actively like acknowledged it
to that level.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
Listen, there were rumors of it, and I think that
by Billy not mentioning it a lot on their showdown there,
people were starting to like put the puzzle together and
be like, what's going on? And then Matt got into
the Hall of Fame to pay for this, I got
a log in for it, please, thank you. And then
Matt had gotten into the Hall of Fame. So Billy
(17:22):
had said some nice things about that. I think, listen,
the acknowledgments from Matt in this article was I wouldn't
be who I am, and I wouldn't be in the
Hall of Fame and all these things without Billy.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
I think Matt knows that.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
But what Matt's missing though, and being somebody who's worked
here a long time, is that he was a nice
to a lot of people behind the scenes. A challenge
in Parwer for a lot, especially for Billy. Billy dealt
with a lot, and I think, like, I get why
Billy does not want to talk about We're not going
too much into their.
Speaker 5 (17:52):
Yeah, it's not urt to spill, but I want to
a dynamic there where I think, you know, it was
felt in the office even where like, yeah, boy, probably
thought he was bigger than anybody else. You feel me well,
and it was tough. He was, he was he was.
But I think now that he sat down, maybe he's
humbled himself a little bit. Like, Yo, friendship was more
worth it than.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
I want to agree with you on that.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
But the business, there's a line in the article and
he says, I know there was a different ratings if
I was still there, said dip wouldn't exist.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
Okay, but he's got to pop his collar, bro, he
does he listened speaking of.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
The feathers.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
Yeah, he's peaking.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
He does.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
You think Boston Radio, you think Maddie in the Morning,
like it just is what it is. And honestly, the
amount Ramiro hush, that's my god. But he has thrown
from shade our way.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
I'll add Ramiro in there in pebbles for sure, just
like iconic names in the city, they're they're up there.
But Maddie is Maddie, Maddie. You know there's the number
one spot goes to Maddie.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
He can't say that, and and nobody can come and
fact check and be like not really. Yeah, when if
I stepped in the building, things were happening because of me.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
I just felt like the vibe of the article was
really a cry for help in a sense of who
do I have to talk.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
To to get Billy to like me?
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (19:13):
And I think do I need to meet up with.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
I don't know how much I can say, but I
feel like that's I don't know, I'm going yeah, yeah, yeah,
feet that's in the article, but that's also the tone
behind the scenes too.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
I think he really desperately wants Billy to be his friend. Hey,
Billy's beyond that.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
To me, it really seems like Billy is again.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
Man, Maddie is an absolute legend. He's an absolute talent.
But I have seen with my own eyes, like the
way he has treated people about like behind the scenes
and when he saw I saw him go it was insane.
Go ahead, ask you tell this one.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
What's crazy is I was making fun of Billy.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
You were making fun of Billy. But this was almost
a situation that was.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Kind of like this was when it was Santi Ramiro
and I and there was this was this was centuries ago.
But I had stayed at Billy's apartment in Salem. He
wasn't there at the time. He offered me up his
apartment and we made we we actively made it clear
like we were going to make it a joke on
our show. So that way we could have like the
(20:17):
crossover from the two shows, like we were making fun
of them across from you know, they were a far
bigger show at the times, we were like, oh, we'll
make fun of you, you know whatever, And it was
it was.
Speaker 7 (20:25):
It was.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
It was suddenly set up and made clear there was
going to be weird.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
It was understood, it was on both parties.
Speaker 5 (20:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
So then I made my little jokey joke, and Matt
did not appreciate it. He did not think it was funny.
And he because it because because that's his boy, because
Billy is his boy, that's his best friend.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
And uh yeah, he he let me know. He wasn't there.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
He came in, he came into the studio, just went off.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Really yeah, I think Mero had to like get up
and be like you gotta go.
Speaker 6 (20:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (20:56):
Yeah, it was. It was wild.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
It was wild, But I'm saying that was because he
was protected riding for his guy, even though like it was,
it was very strange the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
But I just think that if and again it's not
our business.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
But if Billy doesn't want to be his friend in
the end, then I think that's speaking volumes like that.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
That's that's his thing.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Here's what I say, man, in this industry, there's a
lot of people who are not nice of their team.
And I feel like I am fortunate enough to work
on a team where people get along, people respect each other.
It's not all like that across the board.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Yeah, and not just not just just Yeah in general
and radio in.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
General offerob to go against that's.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Another thing too.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
He got offered a job to go against Kiss and
be like their competitor, but it would have been a
full time gig, like you would have had a show again.
And he said in the article he didn't want to
have to get up at five and all these things.
But he also made a clear form he would go
back to Kiss if asked, if they said to him
come back, he would go. And he said in some capacity,
(22:01):
he don't want to get up.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
At five am. He doesn't want to do our schedule anymore.
But he's like, I would be a part of that child.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
If they're interested in me coming back, I would do that.
Does he want to come on with us, I haven't
got he's not coming and ask him some questions.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Yeah he has he I bet you if I called
him and I was like, hey, mad, it's me. The
hell r A.
Speaker 10 (22:26):
Actually in the Jamie morishaw with d J Foign.
Speaker 9 (22:29):
And Sonty When you need to know, No, we got
you three things you need to know on Bunton's Number
one for hip hop and the best throwbacks you haven't
any more.
Speaker 10 (22:38):
Five.
Speaker 12 (22:39):
We saw some fight at the end, which is encouraging,
But at the same time, this game you got every
single play, every single play counts. I thought we gave
him too many big plays defensively, did a better job
in the run game. There are too many big plays, tackling,
skim whatever you want to call it. Just overall execution
defensively just wasn't good enough.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
Very Happy Monday, November twenty fifth. I when I don't
know what to say, I pretty much just say there
you have it, because yeah, I feel like I'm throwing
out a lot of there you have it because there's
not much to say. Man, Pat's taken l in Miami
thirty four to fifteen. It gets to the point where
you lose so much that you're forced to say things
(23:20):
like this because there's nothing left to say.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
It's tough.
Speaker 11 (23:24):
You know, anytime you're losing, I think this, you know,
like I've always said, hate losing women.
Speaker 10 (23:29):
You know, I really like to win.
Speaker 11 (23:30):
So I'm losing sucks and I think, you know, just
you know, I told some guys sign just remember this feeling.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yeah, I agree. Yeah, I hate losing more than I
like to win.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
Oh, I said it earlier, Boston dot Com said, simply put,
Gerdme and the Pats were not prepared and did little
to make Sunday's matchup in Miami a competitive affair.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Again, the positive on this whole season could be the
potential of us having the first pick if they continue
this downward trend. It's not because it's not going to
get better.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
It's not good.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
I mean, and I also feel like people, it's just
the it's not there. The spark of the Patriots is gone.
It doesn't feel good. Uh.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
They are officially three and nine.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Yeah, there's a better chance of Bill Belichick coaching this
team next year.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Than rod three and nine.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Sunday at one o'clock, they're back in action against the Colts.
Foreign Santina will work on Kendrick right now, do you
have Sizza for me? Grab Sizza and Lizzo on Kai
Sanat So we'll talk about the Kendricks album that he
surprise dropped on Friday. It will be me talking to myself,
but I'll just perfect, perfect, perfect, favorite Perfect. It's twelve
(24:40):
tracks on it is called g n X. The album
is kendricks sixth and it is the first since twenty
twenty two's Mister Morown.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
The Big Steppers.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Jack Antonovf is listed as co producer on pretty much
every single song except for Pika Boo that one, thank you,
thank you for that ad in right there. Sissa appeared
twice on the album. Kendrick did not take it easy
on anybody now. So what I can tell you is this,
the man is a lyricist. So there's there's there's lyrical
layers here. I'm sure we're not getting to all of them,
(25:11):
but I'm just going to break down the two biggest one,
and that is Kendrick versus Lil Wayne and Kendrick versus Snoop.
The Snoop one I think was just a little fun,
but I think listen, there's no way that Kendrick hasn't
seen all this press of Lil Wayne feeling so so
so sad that he wasn't asked to do the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
Yeah, like the man.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
The man's crying on stages like he's just not well.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Okay, So in his song whacked Out Morals, Kendrick addresses muriels.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
I'm muriel.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
What is it like a murial? Like a painting on
a mural?
Speaker 2 (25:50):
A mural?
Speaker 5 (25:51):
Sorryl mural? Okay said it wrong, Yeah, mural?
Speaker 4 (25:57):
So whacked out murals, not morals, I said morals. I
don't know what the hell he said, whacked out murals.
He addresses this little Wayne.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
I'm so sad. Why didn't I get the Super Bowl controversy?
Speaker 15 (26:11):
I missed my uncle l Maine. He said that he
would kill me if I didn't make it. Now I'm
possessed by a spirit and they can't take it. You
used to bump the Carter three. I helped my roly
chain proud irony. I think my heart worked a little
Wayne down whatever, though, call me crazy. Everybody questioned the
both timely toring Nekimore.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
I drew the line, there's some mold snoop.
Speaker 15 (26:30):
Posty tailor made.
Speaker 12 (26:31):
I prayed with the.
Speaker 15 (26:32):
Edibles I couldn't believe it.
Speaker 13 (26:34):
It was only right for me to read it.
Speaker 15 (26:35):
Go on the super Bowl, and now the only one
congratulated me all the agitated. I'm just glad to show
on the faces quite frankly, plenty yardists, but they outdated
old ass flows trying to convince me that you their
favorite thing.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
I feel like, because I'm a Drake fan and a hater,
I should just strictly report the fox here.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
But I have to say I from when I've heard
I like the beats on the song, so from anyways,
He basically says, listen, I used to listen of the
Carter three.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
Now Lil Wayne seems like he's mad that I worked
hard and I got the super Bowl. Lil Wayne obviously
gets wind of this. He immediately tweets out and says, man,
wtf did I do? I just be chilling and they
still come for my head. Let's not take kindness for weakness.
Let the giant sleep. I beg you all. No one
really wants destruction, not even me, but I shall destroy
(27:23):
you if disturbed on me. Love I listen, I beg
to differ that Lil Wayne is just like chilling. He's
saying I'm just chilling. Now you're talking about it. You're
talking about that. You wish you were doing the super Bowl.
I was you're doing super Bowl, but you're talking about it.
Speaker 7 (27:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
But he's also kind of saying that the bear is hibernating.
If you keep poking the bear, the bear's gonna wake up. Yeah,
let's go.
Speaker 7 (27:49):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
That's good, good, thank you, thank you for the ad in.
He also in that song mentioned Snoop.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
At one point, Snoop had posted the AI version of
a Drake chat called tail Are Made, and Kendrick obviously
felt the type of way about that, said that he
hoped that Snoop ale he did it because he was
on Edibles. Snoop then responded crying, laughing and said, k
dot new album g n X, it.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Was the Edibles Shout out to the West.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
King Forrene was saying that over the weekend, the one
song that was going and that was trending. Even McDonald's
posted it was off the album Kendrick TV off all
I have was wonted.
Speaker 16 (28:25):
What's a black grand national being rational?
Speaker 5 (28:27):
Give them what they asked for?
Speaker 3 (28:30):
It is not enough, but it's not enough.
Speaker 16 (28:33):
You better, but it's not enough, say, bigger than myself,
but it's not enough.
Speaker 13 (28:39):
Nobody got to do it. I mean nobody got to
do it.
Speaker 16 (28:45):
We survived outside from the music.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Hey, it's coming, but.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Somebody gotta do it.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
To get somebody gotta do it.
Speaker 17 (29:07):
Turn his TV off, turns TV off, turn his TV off,
turns TV off, turn his TV off, turns TV off,
turn his TV off, turns TV off.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
I love Drake, but I have ears and that beat
is good.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
Yeah, it's a bop.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Yeah, Like I don't want to. I mean, listen, I'd
be happy to move on from day not like us, Like,
let's let's go to this one.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
Dude, I have to I do have to say. The
timing of this whole thing is absolutely perfect, going into
the holidays and the super Bowl right around the corner.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
Man, you can you can already see it at the
super Bowl, him screaming, my dad, it's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
So there you have it.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
Twelve songs from Kendrick delivered in surprise on Friday, all
right and lastly.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Were good for him. I'm gonna take that as a yes.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Sizza and Lizzo show up for Kay Sinnott's live stream.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
As we know this man.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
We actually thought he was winding down last week. He's
gotta be winding down now. He for thirty days straight.
It has to be close.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Sizza and Lizzo show up and people were loving it.
I'm gonna take the time right now to say Lizzo
is looking good.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
I don't know if she's doing the semi glup sid
skinny shot.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
I get that so zembic. I don't know what she's doing.
Maybe whatever it is.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
It's working, it's working.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Liz looks good.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
She also has to be healthier than she was too.
She lest me feeling a lot better.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
Yeah, maybe she stopped forcing people to do sexual stuff
with bananas.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
I don't know whatever was on.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
She's looking good. Sizo Sizza also showing up. She was
being very shy at first, but we got a lot
of reveals from them. By the way, at one point
there's cameras everywhere. They were gossiping in Kay Sanat's kitchen
and they were talking about how since he's live all
the time, he has to shower with his boxers on,
and they were basically saying, like, how can a man
(30:54):
fully cleanse thyself if your boxers are on in the shower?
Speaker 2 (30:59):
I think Ford has for us. He's up there, we go,
he's the cleaners. Wow, he hasn't washed all who said that?
Speaker 19 (31:09):
He said that?
Speaker 10 (31:11):
Is that true?
Speaker 5 (31:13):
Wait?
Speaker 14 (31:13):
What?
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Well, he's been shower with the trunks on, that's what
they said.
Speaker 7 (31:20):
They say he showers every day with the swim truck.
Speaker 20 (31:21):
That's my first question.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
It's been twelve three days.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
Well maybe he's watching the Bottomok.
Speaker 13 (31:29):
His snet's been dry for twenty I don't believe it.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
I don't believe that.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
I generally don't be after something.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Right now, but I've been showering every single day.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Yes, I mean he has to stomen just reach in
there and kind of do what you said, pull him out.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
And many fun fact when the fireman showers with the child,
he's swimming chunks every time.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
He won't get naked in front of her. It's she
won't even know I should be asking questions talking about
your oldest asked question.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
But yeah, yeah, but then he asked why I'm telling
this is because once she gets out and I, you know,
take her out, and he takes them off and takes
a real shower.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
So I don't think he feels clean with just the
slim swimming.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Yeah, it's it's like a condom, you know.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, but listen, he asked to me what he has
to do.
Speaker 5 (32:25):
I mean, noway and protect yourself.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Don't take precautions.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
Sis also gave a huge reveal on the live and said,
by the way, guys, we only have like a month
left in this year, and she's like, it's coming, the
new album is coming?
Speaker 21 (32:49):
When all right, okaya, I really don't want to hit me.
Speaker 20 (33:01):
Out the years.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
Really funny, wait a new album before the year is over. Honey.
It's December first on Sunday.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
Got like a week.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Maybe comes on on Friday, Black Friday? Oh yeah, surprise
drop there you go.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
By the way, this was over the weekend, and Lizzo
says in that first cut that he's on day twenty three,
so he he only got like a little bit of
a few more days and he's done. He seems he's rushing.
I mean, how many times have I put him in
the news over the last couple weeks. He's almost damn
near every other day, depending on who his guest is.
But it was really cute when Sissa and Lizzo. Lizzo
(33:43):
walked in. He was so excited, but I didn't know.
Sissa was so shy she didn't want to show her face.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
At first, he was like, stop it. She was, Yeah,
she was. She was definitely when she saw how many
people were watching, she she certainly felt the type of boay.
But it was it was really fun.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
And I saw a bunch of people posting like ice
it up all night watching Lizzie and they were entertaining
natural Fay.
Speaker 8 (34:04):
Sometimes.
Speaker 5 (34:04):
I think they even forgot the was streaming. So it
was good to see them just kind of chilling, especially
in the kitchen and stuff.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
Do you forgive her now for what she did to that?
Speaker 8 (34:11):
Hell?
Speaker 2 (34:11):
No, Uber eats driver.
Speaker 5 (34:12):

What's going on, guys, Hey, good morning, Good morning. I
heard We had an amazing weekend.
Speaker 22 (41:00):
Oh yes, this weekend was one of one of the
best we could have. It was baby's birthday, and that's
my wife birthday and my son's best friend.
Speaker 7 (41:10):
And we're on our way to school right now this weekend.
Speaker 19 (41:14):
Exit here.
Speaker 22 (41:15):
That's his first time riding in the front.
Speaker 4 (41:16):
It's probably not top baby that is gonna now listen,
I will shed a tear when it's time for one
of my kids to sit up front.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
That has to be a moment.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
Hi, Hi, what's going on in the front seat?
Speaker 2 (41:29):
You like it up there?
Speaker 7 (41:32):
You should like it up Yeah?
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Yeah, was that a moment for you guys? When the
kids could sit in the front seat.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
It's just easier than we got that.
Speaker 5 (41:40):
You can talk to me. And something got lucky because
now you've got to be like six to one to
get out the car seat.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
Yeah no, for real, they'll have you in a booster
to your sixty legit for real. Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (41:51):
Well did you refer to your wife as your baby?
That was super sweet. How old did your baby turn
over the weekend?
Speaker 22 (41:57):
Oh no, It was my wife birthday yesterday, and because
he had school early this morning, we celebrated our birthday
yesterday before I went to work, so exhibited did his
little surprise and uh we took pictures and we hit
a nice cake. Oh yeah, it was a pretty good weekend.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
Listen, sounds like it was a great one. You love
to hear it.
Speaker 4 (42:18):
Send my love to to the birthday lady. And tell
Xavier he's he's all grown up now it's a big boy.
Speaker 22 (42:23):
Oh yeah, absolutely, will do have a good weekend, guys.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Yeah, seriously, thanks for the call. Uh, Sam is in gardener,
Hi Sam.
Speaker 20 (42:33):
Hi, good morning guys.
Speaker 23 (42:34):
First time Carla.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
Wow, well, you know I love to see it.
Speaker 4 (42:38):
I don't want to say that you probably got knocked
down a peg in like the family rankings over the weekend,
but possibly what happened.
Speaker 23 (42:49):
Yeah, my little brother graduated with his doctorate in the
Northeast College of how Scientist in New York for a chiropractice.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
Wow, your brother is about to be a chiropractor. Now
where do you think that puts you then? In order
of like better siblings? Oh on second, I av listen,
you're still important though, that that's an important job. But yeah,
we used to my grandmother Nana, God rest her soul,
she used to to rank us grandkids, and we knew it,
(43:16):
like we absolutely knew it. My cousin Mark, who usually
listens from Florida, always held the number one spot because
he called her every day like he was to kiss ass.
But I was always top three and I feel good
about that. But Sam, it's okay. But it's okay to
be number two. And now you have a chiropractor in
the family exactly.
Speaker 8 (43:35):
It works out for all of us.
Speaker 14 (43:37):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Well, thank you so much for calling Sam. I appreciate it.
Speaker 20 (43:40):
Yeah, thanks, have a good day, guys.
Speaker 3 (43:41):
All right, bab wow chiropractor.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
See that's shade. I know that's shade.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
You're not a doctor of I believe in them, but
some people think it's a pseudoscience. So I'm just gonna
say thats me. But if you were, if you're dying,
don't go to don't go to the chiro, go to
the doctor.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
My brother became a doctor who goes.
Speaker 5 (44:01):
Let's see what this is.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
Let's see what doctor this is.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
When you got a doctor, you've got a doctor.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
God Katie is in Mathu and Hi Katie, Hi, wow.
You know what I listen.
Speaker 4 (44:14):
There's a lot of times people will call on this
show and I'm like, AG needs to hear this call,
Like this call is something that A needs to hear,
and today you're going to do it for You're going to.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Give her hope.
Speaker 8 (44:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 23 (44:26):
So Friday, my mom told me we were going to
come over for like holiday like pictures, and then she
surprised me and got married.
Speaker 2 (44:35):
Instaid, whoa, we're coming over for holiday pictures. We're also
getting married. How old your mother?
Speaker 23 (44:42):
She's sixty five and she's been with my stepdad for
eighteen years. It was a long time coming.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Wow, I'm gonna be honest with you.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
I don't sense happiness in your voice, like you just
seem whatever about it.
Speaker 23 (44:55):
I'm just tired on my way to work. Oh, I'm
really excited for them. I'm so happy.
Speaker 2 (45:00):
Okay, it was so, it was. It was a great surprise.
Speaker 4 (45:02):
You guys were all dressed up thinking you were getting
pictures and then mom got married at sixty five.
Speaker 23 (45:06):
Yeah, she showed like it was an engagement. Like I
didn't like they were talking about marriage, but I mean,
it's spent eighteen years. I was like, oh, okay, it's
just whatever. And then yeah, she showed me the ray
and then for pictures and she had a wedding.
Speaker 20 (45:19):
Like the Justice of the showed up at her house.
Speaker 7 (45:22):
Why, and it was just very intimate.
Speaker 23 (45:24):
It was just us, and then we went out to
dinner at Pilanas after and celebradon.
Speaker 4 (45:29):
Yeah, it was really cool, beautiful, beautiful finding. You know,
well she kind of had already found. But getting married
at sixty five you have time aged marriage. Yeah, her
first marriage. I love that, Katie, thank you for that.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
Sixty five. I mean AJ's what like thirty eight?
Speaker 4 (45:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (45:47):
At that point were together?
Speaker 8 (45:48):
How long?
Speaker 3 (45:49):
Eighteen eighteen year?
Speaker 5 (45:50):
Why do you get married? Yeah? Eighteen years? And then
at sixty five, when y'all about to knock out, Yeah,
that's when y'allatt.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Something must have something must have happened that they were like,
what are we doing?
Speaker 5 (46:01):
Eighteen years out together and you decide to get married now?
Speaker 3 (46:03):
But what do you think they had sex on their
wedding night? Sixty five? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (46:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
Well that's why there's hymns.
Speaker 3 (46:11):
No, that's true. Yeah, dude, hymns. I'll be going till
ninety five. Get over here.
Speaker 5 (46:15):
I excite.
Speaker 10 (46:19):
Nasty exactly. In the Jamie Morning Show with DJ Feign,
It's Sunty When you need to know.
Speaker 9 (46:26):
No weed got you Three things you need to know
on Bunton's Number one for hip hop and the best
throwbags you haven't any more.
Speaker 20 (46:33):
Five.
Speaker 13 (46:34):
I'm Drake. This is execuc real streaming legend me. I
do music. In case you didn't know, I'm here as.
Speaker 14 (46:42):
You can see, fully untapped mind, body and soul. In
case you are wondering, right, mind body and soul, mind body,
and so you need facts.
Speaker 13 (46:49):
To take me out. Fairy tales won't do it. Cheers
to everybody words to live.
Speaker 4 (46:54):
By it Real Talk, Monday, November twenty fifth, Drake said,
you need facts to take me out, not fairy tales.
Fairy tales won't do it. That was a dear Kendrick,
all right, fact.
Speaker 3 (47:04):
You gotta be a BBL fact.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Why are you being like that?
Speaker 5 (47:08):
Well, he said it.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
It's not my fault you lied to about the vote.
Speaker 5 (47:11):
I'm not doing this you're talking about that. But listen,
why does he have to say that? Why does he
have to stand up? Why does he have to say,
I'm intact like the king on the on the top
of this mountain of hip hop? Do you need to
address every exact thing?
Speaker 4 (47:24):
Is that a funny like dig back to people who
have been like, oh, Drake's been hiding, Drake's been in
a hole, Drake's been hiding.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
And he's like, yeah, I'm right here, I guess.
Speaker 5 (47:31):
But again, if you have that confidence in your ability
and you're not phased whatsoever, like he claims that he is,
you wouldn't address it.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
Who was ex QC? That's the real question.
Speaker 5 (47:39):
They were on Canadian stream?
Speaker 2 (47:41):
They were on kickstream. He's twenty nine years old.
Speaker 4 (47:43):
He's supposedly a big Canadian stream where he got like
twelve million follows. But Drake's first real like sit down
and we finally see what's going on with him, and
he's on with EXQC.
Speaker 2 (47:52):
I guess he wanted to show love to Canada. That
wasn't it.
Speaker 4 (47:56):
He also had a little subtle jab towards the weekend
after he had told x QC, Hey, just play anything
you want, just do a little roulette of music.
Speaker 13 (48:07):
You have to switch this song. It's I have to
switch this one. Really were real?
Speaker 10 (48:15):
Six?
Speaker 7 (48:16):
Is the real?
Speaker 10 (48:16):
Six? Is real? Six?
Speaker 7 (48:18):
Had?
Speaker 13 (48:19):
We don't listen to that?
Speaker 7 (48:22):
Nah?
Speaker 13 (48:23):
Yeah, of course, what do you mean? Yeah? Exactly, play
some blank within eighty two. I want to hear that real.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
I want to hear that real.
Speaker 4 (48:33):
You know what, Damn, you know what, Drake hates Ted
DROs as much as we do. That's what we learned
right there that a lot of people thought that The
Weekend and Drake had done a little kissing makeup And no, no,
I didn't.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
Know about this beef. I didn't know that they hated
that that much.
Speaker 5 (48:48):
It's been going on for a while between XO and OVO,
you know, because apparently, I think I think the story
stems that Drake was trying to sign The Weekend and
he decided to go another route and he ended up
blowing up, and Drake felt a way about that.
Speaker 4 (48:59):
Drake Is said, instead of got TRIX's emotional man, he
really is. Got the new haircut though back to his
old ways. It's giving the grassy. I'm happy. It's just
getting a little crazy.
Speaker 3 (49:08):
Number two. He has belly problems and he's on the
toilet a lot.
Speaker 5 (49:12):
Back to postponed a whole toy.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
He said, I want money.
Speaker 5 (49:18):
I'm not gonna hold you.
Speaker 3 (49:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Thanks, it's a short week. I'm just trying to get through.
I'm just trying to make it through. I'm all right.
Box office hits over the weekend.
Speaker 4 (49:27):
Everybody's talking about both of them, Wicked and Gladiator to
Wicked taking the top spot, earning one hundred and fourteen
mil domestically, a worldwide ticket sales added up to a
total of one hundred and sixty four point two million
gladiat or two just his reference, or in the second
spot in the US with fifty five million.
Speaker 5 (49:48):
I popped out of that on a Thursday, fell asleep
glad Away.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Because everybody's just bragging about it. It's so good.
Speaker 5 (49:55):
I might have been overly taled, but yeah, I slept
throughout the whole movie.
Speaker 3 (49:58):
I'm not really anything that you saw that was appealing, though.
Speaker 5 (50:02):
I mean, the guy's wife is back. Remember the dude
that died I forgot his name. Remind me Santi. Yeah,
Maximums's wife is back in there, and they kind of
play off of their finally dynamic. It's a good plot.
Speaker 2 (50:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (50:15):
I just fell asleep. And Denzel was good. Denzel was
kind of yeah. Denzel was actually really good in the
movie as well. Everybody was good.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
Wow, Yeah, Denzel. And who's the other star in it?
I love him?
Speaker 3 (50:24):
Pedro Pedro.
Speaker 10 (50:28):
It was good.
Speaker 5 (50:29):
It was a good choice. Again, I can't say that
it was bad. I just I was tired. I fell asleep.
It was a waste of a ticket.
Speaker 4 (50:34):
The combo of Gladiator and Wicked is being compared to
the combo of Barbie and Oppenheimer because they were both
released from the same weekend as well, and just for
reference there, those films made over two hundred mill combined.
Speaker 5 (50:45):
So they the movies back in the Is that what
we're saying.
Speaker 3 (50:48):
No, here's what we're saying, that the movies are back
and people will come out if the movie's good enough.
If people aren't.
Speaker 4 (50:54):
But with that being said, my mother just texts me
yesterday and goes, come over this week and we'll watch
because I want to see it. Obviously, I saw it
on Broadway. I can't wait to see the film. Thirty
bucks to rent it. You can get it for thirty dollars. Bye,
I'm me too. I'll lay on my couch.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
I don't have to leave at the theater.
Speaker 4 (51:14):
Absolutely, so yeah, I mean, I still, unfortunately would pick
depending on the film. Some films you just have to go,
and I'm like some some films I'm going to showcase
and that's it, like I must see it.
Speaker 2 (51:27):
But for the most part, I'm picking my.
Speaker 3 (51:28):
Couch absolutely, and thirty bucks is not.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
No, I don't pay that now, all righty.
Speaker 4 (51:33):
Lastly, Adele said bye bye to Vegas and to music,
so it seems for a while she wrapped up her
Las Vegas residency, shared an emotional tribute to both her
son and her fiance Rich Paul.
Speaker 16 (51:45):
To my son, I tried to dosidency, maybe because I
hate to.
Speaker 1 (51:51):
Ten so I could keep his lunch normal, and I
wouldn't change it for THEE to be there on a
weekend sound because we'll see you can't always.
Speaker 10 (52:01):
So I love you.
Speaker 23 (52:06):
Thank you for always figuring me up, and thank you.
Speaker 19 (52:08):
Feel like I could do what everyone want to do is.
Speaker 1 (52:09):
Good times where I'm too tired or too most dreams
can up the best.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
To do and things like that, so I appreciate that
still need.
Speaker 13 (52:17):
To be treated.
Speaker 4 (52:19):
One point during the show, she she know she always
walks in and out of the audience, and she stopped
in front of her son, gave him a big hug
kiss and also gave Rich policish. But she she says, hey,
the resident residency is over, but she also insinuates.
Speaker 2 (52:32):
That she's done.
Speaker 5 (52:33):
Can I give an unpopular opinion? People like Adele that
their talent should be stripped from them because to me, listen, listen,
she always complains about her career. She's complaining about touring,
she complains about the music. She like, she's a super
dope talent, but for me, it almost feels like, yo,
you know, you wouldn't have like half the things you
(52:55):
have if you didn't have to put in the work
to do whatever you needed to do. And she's like,
I want to be home. Then don't become a musician.
Don't become an artist, Like what are you? That's not
her faults, but you keep complaining that you have to
use this voice. So go sit your ass down and
give us all our money back and be broken.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
Pull like the rest of it. Raise thousands of dollars
to see you.
Speaker 5 (53:14):
Adele, Like your life is amazing as far as outside
of the music, but you keep complaining that the music
is too too daunting. I don't want to do it
for too long. She wanted to retire. She's only like,
what thirty second.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
I actually just saw a quote too.
Speaker 4 (53:29):
Somebody said something about Taylor to her, and she's like,
I can't believe she's still on her Arras tour.
Speaker 2 (53:33):
She needs a break.
Speaker 5 (53:34):
Yes, to live the life you want, you got to
put in the work. And you always complain about the music.
Strip off our talent. Go sit down somewhere and become
one of us and see how you like it.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
It's not our funt.
Speaker 5 (53:44):
We've said thirty dollars to sit on a couch to
watch it.
Speaker 4 (53:46):
Hello, ones, And it just went on because all right,
there's three things need to know for Monday, November twenty fifth.
Everybody's talking about this show. When it was announced. I
saw it in people's Instagram stories. I have to get tickets.
Posty and Roll are going to be hanging out at
Jellette Stadium.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
That show is in May. The tickets will sell out.
They are going to be impossible to get. And here
we are.
Speaker 4 (54:06):
We got you a pair in six one seven nine
three one one nine four five. That is six one
seven nine three one one nine four five caller twenty five.
We are hooking up, hooking you up with the ticket
Posty and Jelly Roll at Jellette Stadium. Good luck and
as always, maybe ah let's be ever in your favorite
all right, everybody, Good morning. Jamie from Saugus is about
(54:28):
to upset everybody. She just won a pair of tickets
to go see Posty alongside jelly Roll, and she told
Foeurn that the last time she won tickets with us.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
She also won post alone.
Speaker 4 (54:39):
She's it like people are dying for these tickets and
she's she listens, blush, let me go get those.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
I got them before, and we'll get those again. But
don't worry.
Speaker 4 (54:50):
If you took an l right there, we have another shot.
We will do it all over again tomorrow morning. Tickets
to go see Posty alongside jelly Roll will happen at
seven Taiwan t Show.
Speaker 2 (55:00):
So Let's stadium. Everybody wants to go, and I'm so
happy we're hooking you up.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
Tickets to go see Posting and jelly Roll tomorrow morning
again at seven twenty Dashy and the.
Speaker 10 (55:09):
Jam In Morning Show with DJ Fourn and.
Speaker 18 (55:11):
Saw Tipid Morning Bustin's number one for hip hop jamming
ninety four or five.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
Hi, everybody.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
I was chatting with one of my high school best
friends and we were just going back and forth about life.
Speaker 2 (55:29):
What's up with you? How are you the hush?
Speaker 4 (55:32):
And she's like, I don't know if I told you this,
but my sister and I are are like we're not
doing well. So she has two sisters and a brother.
Ninety eight percent of the family voted one way and
her sister voted a different way. Her sister told her
(55:57):
she will not be attending Thanksgiving dinner at her house
because of the way she voted.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
That's stupid.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
I actually was like I know.
Speaker 4 (56:06):
I was like, I go this, this isn't real, right,
She's like, oh no, like literally wrote me and said
I will not bring my family, my husband, nor my children.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
To your home.
Speaker 3 (56:19):
So is this gonna last for the next four years
or is this forever?
Speaker 4 (56:23):
I guess my mind is so blown at the fact
that people are willing to cut off family and friends
over this, Like this is not the way it's supposed
to like.
Speaker 3 (56:34):
Whether you're agree with the person who they voted for
in order for us to have our own opinions, like
you need to respect somebody else's choice.
Speaker 5 (56:41):
And somebody had to win and somebody had to lose,
Like somebody had to win and somebody had to lose,
Like I need to grow up.
Speaker 4 (56:47):
I feel like also to it is not your business
who I voted for, Like why why are you even asking?
Speaker 2 (56:53):
Why are you talking about it?
Speaker 7 (56:55):
Right?
Speaker 2 (56:56):
Why is that. And what breaks my heart is they
lost their mother recently a couple of years ago.
Speaker 4 (57:03):
But the thought that the family is in like turmoil
and mom has to watch that from up above knowing
that it's over who you voted for.
Speaker 5 (57:16):
Is just sad.
Speaker 3 (57:18):
Sad.
Speaker 4 (57:18):
It's sad for the kids too, because now they're not
gonna be able to see their cousins and they're not
gonna you know, they're gonna be by.
Speaker 2 (57:23):
Themselves and it's over what. Yeah, and Donald Trump or
Kamala Harris.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
Like really, in the mindset, it's so selfish because I'm
sure if you would have voted on the same side
of things and then it's okay, Like it's completely selfish.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
Do you guys see it though?
Speaker 4 (57:39):
Like I've seen I've seen people posting being like it's
okay to cut people out of your life if they
voted for who You.
Speaker 5 (57:45):
Just gonna be empty seats this holiday season and people
who don't show up just because of some voting that
went on. And the craziest thing is that no, I can't.
We're not going to open gifts together. We're not gonna
sit at a dinner table together to break bed. We're
not gonna you know, cherish out moments and make memories
because I don't like who you voted for, and vice versa.
Speaker 3 (58:07):
And the beauty, the beauty of the entire thing is
that you have a choice. And that's how it's designed. Yeah,
and and and it's a great thing that you disagree
and we can have a debate about it. But when
you start cutting people off, that's when this whole thing
turns into a nasty thing. And that's just unfortunately what
the last four years has been like or eight. Now,
we can all grow up, guys, let's just all have
(58:27):
our choice. Yes you can, you can stand fast, and
you could do all these things. But bro like to
not show up to So what happens.
Speaker 5 (58:34):
See what happens If a sister Lord Forbid dies tomorrow,
you're not gonna show up at the funeral.
Speaker 3 (58:40):
I know they'll go there and have like regret that
they didn't like mend things up.
Speaker 10 (58:44):
Yeah, and that's.
Speaker 4 (58:45):
Something like I, yes, this is the way we feel
about it, But I feel like we're part of the minority.
Like WHOOPI Goldberg was on the view telling people and
Joy behar telling people cut them out of your life.
I'm cutting people out of my life that didn't vote
for Kamala Harris, Like I'm cutting them out of it.
They're pushing that narrative, and it's like, wait, exactly to
(59:08):
your point, what if somebody dies?
Speaker 3 (59:10):
You know what the crazy thing is. I took one
of those tests where they give you a blind question
and it's basically to determine one what side of the
alu you stand. I took the entire test.
Speaker 5 (59:20):
It was long.
Speaker 3 (59:21):
I was like spread apart and in the middle on
so many things. So when it comes down to it,
like you might be staunch left or right, but when
it comes down to you might be going like back
and forth. So sometimes you're basing stuff on just what
the crowd are doing, just what you're being told, which
is completely crazy.
Speaker 4 (59:34):
I don't know the three of us agree on this,
but I am more so seeing and listen. It could
be the people I follow and my algo or whatever
whatever the hell it is. But I really see people
out here talking about you're dead to me. If you
voted this way, don't speak to me. If you voted
that way, you're an idiot. If you voted like this,
you're not a part of my family. If you voted
for him. You're not a part of my family if
(59:55):
you voted for her. What they are a part.
Speaker 2 (59:58):
Of your They are your fan family.
Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
And then God forbid, somebody die, So now you didn't
see them at the end of their life because they
voted for a different person.
Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
It sounds so we can't just have a little bit
of stuffing together.
Speaker 4 (01:00:10):
We can't just take a scoop of mashed potatoes and
not talk politics, like, can't can't we just all hang
out in that It's it's it's crazy to me.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
Michael is in Haverol. Michael, I don't know if you're
what you're doing. I don't I don't know if you're
seeing this narrative being pushed on social too.
Speaker 4 (01:00:27):
But there's a lot of people out here who really
are axing people from the Thanksgiving table.
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Due to who they voted for.
Speaker 7 (01:00:34):
It just doesn't make sense to me. I'm not educated
in politics that much, but I know that our vote
in Massachusetts really doesn't matter. To have family members fight
because there's not enough electoral votes for us to even
make the difference here in Massachusetts. That family members fight
about votes, it's I mean, it isn't going to matter.
(01:00:56):
It just doesn't make any sense. I mean, family is
family when it comes to who's electing people for a
political party, What what is it going to do for
us in the end result, we're all gonna have the
same jobs, We're all gonna have the same family.
Speaker 5 (01:01:10):
We're all gone. Yeah, yeah, I think goes on as normal.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
He said.
Speaker 4 (01:01:14):
He's like, I'm going to wake up the same way
I always did when we find out.
Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
Who was the president.
Speaker 7 (01:01:20):
I think my pay Yeah, I don't think my paycheck
is going to change. But family members fight over something
where you start talking about electoral votes, like, what do
you mean my vote doesn't count? I mean in the end,
in the end, in Massachusetts, our electoral votes are going
to go one way and it's not going to make
a difference who we vote for. That's sad to say,
(01:01:41):
but I mean it's not a majority vote that takes
control over the whole situation.
Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Yeah, all right, Mike, thanks for the call.
Speaker 5 (01:01:47):
The things that are worth fighting over a spade game,
trying to hit on my girlfriend in front of me,
like some of the things we fight about, Like that's
what we lose sleep over. And I'm not talking to
you some bread and you said you was gonna pay
me tomorrow. You still ain't brought it up. What's going on?
But this, no, you don't argue.
Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
And just like in general, to be rich, for me
at least is not a monetary thing. For me, to
be rich is to have like my family and my
friends by my side. And I'm not talking about.
Speaker 5 (01:02:15):
In a nice town.
Speaker 6 (01:02:16):
Let me let men rich. To be rich isn't always
of monetary value. As what I'm trying to say, to
have the right people in your corner, family and friends.
I love my family and friends more than anything in
this world. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (01:02:37):
I'm not I'm not inviting anybody like you are like, okay, whoopy,
enjoy leave alone.
Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
I don't want your turkey anyway, Ellen leave fine.
Speaker 10 (01:02:47):
That's cool.
Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
Friendships cannot be that fickle. That's that's that religion or
something like that, or even politics, like don't.
Speaker 10 (01:02:53):
Do that to yourself.
Speaker 4 (01:02:54):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
If anybody's going through this, good morning, Hi, everybody, Good
morning Dashling the gam In Morning Show. Thanksgiving is a
couple of days away. It's a short week. We're all
in a good mood, we're happy. My girlfriend called me
and she was telling me how basically her sister is
(01:03:16):
not coming to Thanksgiving because of who voted for who
and all of the things. And it made me sad
because they had just lost their mother, and I can't
imagine what she would be thinking knowing that the kids
are at odds three v one situation. One's not coming,
not bringing her kids, all the things. And the three
of us were like, this is cuckoo, because that's your family,
(01:03:39):
you know. I mean, at the end of the day,
who do you have but your family and friends. But
I see a lot of it. I see a lot
of people posting about this. You're dead to me if
you voted for Kamala. You're dead to me if you
voted for Trump. And it's just a weird, weird world
out there. And Nicole, I appreciate you calling because not
many people would have of the balls to do it.
(01:04:02):
You say, are you told foreign that you are actually
one of the people cutting others off for who they
voted for.
Speaker 24 (01:04:10):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not talking to some people like
I understand that we can have different political opinions, and
I agree with that, you know, And I just I
can't understand what I can't understand. It's not really about
politics anymore. You're saying you're disagreeing. We can disagree about
the economy or integration, whatever it is, but when it
(01:04:31):
comes to LGBTQ people having their basic rights or me
losing my rights, it's really about morals and empathy anymore.
And it just feels like I can't relate to these
people anymore that are voting against it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
But Nicole, what if somebody is not going down that
path and they're voting for somebody else based off something
completely different.
Speaker 24 (01:04:53):
It's the hateful rhetoric that comes out of Trump's mouth.
It doesn't matter. How can you sit there and support
that and say that it's okay and all of the
countless the horrible things he's done and been convicted of,
Like how wasn't that a deal breaker for somebody voting
for Trump? It just it just seems like I have
a whole different morals than a lot of people that
(01:05:13):
are voting for Trump.
Speaker 5 (01:05:14):
But some people, like Santa was saying, I'm not voting
thinking about that. Some people voting for Trump because they're like,
he's going to get me a paycheck at the end
of the year that I'm gonna love. He's gonna make
my pockets fatter. Yeah, so they're not they're not thinking
about all the other things, which again, the expectation, I
think is the problem. People are expecting everybody to have
the same mindset. But we're all individuals, you know what
I mean. I'm sure as much as you care about
(01:05:36):
the LGBTQ community, I'm sure there's somebody in the LGBTQ
community that voted for Trump. Oh there's a lot, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 24 (01:05:45):
But what I'm saying is there's no empathy there. There's
no The morals are different, the empathy is different. It's
not the same as how I'm feeling. Which doesn't matter.
Speaker 8 (01:05:53):
I'm not going to vote it.
Speaker 24 (01:05:54):
It doesn't matter about the money. You know, I'm not
going to vote against my own rights.
Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
Which could be the case. But I guess our point is, like, listen,
we have to be able to like see another end
and just in the side of like somebody's gonna vote
for somebody else, that doesn't mean they're an awful person
and you don't have to cut them out of your life.
Speaker 24 (01:06:11):
I get that, and I'm not actually fully cutting out
people of my life. I'm just not hanging out with them,
Like I don't feel like we have anything to talk about.
We don't have a lot in common anymore. I have
family members that voted for him, and I'm still going
to Thanksgiving, obviously not gonna have any political conversations. But
I do think of these people differently, and I understand
(01:06:31):
why people can't have any conversations with other people that
voted a little bit differently, based on morals and empathy.
Speaker 4 (01:06:38):
All Right, Nicole, Like I said, I appreciate you calm,
because I know a lot of people you know, wouldn't,
especially knowing that we completely disagree with you, and you're
still called and I really appreciate that, so thank you
for that.
Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
But that's the beauty of part is, Like I respect
her decision for feeling like that way, because this is
the amazing thing about policy. She can feel that way.
She's completely fine, and I.
Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
Think, listen, she's still going to Thanksgiving, and she's just
they're they're not going to bring it up. This is
not a political show, and we're not going to sit
here and debate politics, because that's not what the conversation is.
The conversation is are you willing to literally cut out
family and friends because of who they voted for without
you know, us sitting here and really breaking all these
(01:07:19):
things down.
Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
Now, listen, I just I think we're trying to bring
people together, and that's at the end of the day,
what we're trying to do.
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Yeah, So wrapping it up, we done.
Speaker 3 (01:07:27):
Unless you want to take one more quick one.
Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
It's up to you.
Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
Yeah, let's do key and mass hi key.
Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
Hi hi babe. So you do ride share? Yes, I do,
all right.
Speaker 4 (01:07:39):
And you say, some passengers have made comments, What do
you mean, like, how how would they know to make comments?
Speaker 20 (01:07:46):
Well, so they've asked what do you think about the election?
Speaker 8 (01:07:49):
Okay, so I just I'm going to ask them what
do you think?
Speaker 20 (01:07:52):
And so one young lady said that she voted on
the on the three senses of the war, how she
was tired of people being killed. And I also hear
about the racial rhetoric. But we've always been dealing with
racial rhetoric. People I went to high school with. On Facebook,
they made these blanket statements and it's very just negative.
I took it offensive because she didn't put a name
(01:08:14):
on it, so it just said, like as.
Speaker 8 (01:08:16):
Everybody things like that, and I'm like, wow, people are
so mean.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 20 (01:08:20):
So I never disclosed who I voted for because I
didn't want to be like confronted and or. But I
do know for a fact Massachusetts needs to stop as
American people. There's no race, there's no color.
Speaker 8 (01:08:31):
We're all humans, right, the race is human race. And
whatever Trump says, it's an entertainer. Y know, I love them.
I've watched them growing up.
Speaker 20 (01:08:38):
He's an entertainer. And at the end of the day,
we cannot ignore the crime that has been happening. We
have to allow people to live here. But legally legally
you know, I'm a single mom kids by myself, solo glory.
So well, when I tell you the struggles real for
American sens, Let's keep American citizens first and foremost legally.
Speaker 8 (01:09:00):
Yeah, that concern was so. Yeah, I voted for Trump.
Let's go Trump. Let's keep the US safe.
Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:09:08):
And because I know these stories are real and people
aren't really safe with all of.
Speaker 20 (01:09:13):
This homelessness addictions.
Speaker 8 (01:09:14):
Let's have our people people to people, no color.
Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
Key, let me ask you, because you do do ride
share and you do live in Massachusetts, so There's going
to be a lot of people that you're driving around
that didn't vote for Donald Trump, but you're not going
to pick them up?
Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
Are you not going to take them to their location?
Speaker 8 (01:09:29):
I'm picking up anyone and everyone that needs to get you.
Speaker 7 (01:09:32):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
And that's the that's the that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 8 (01:09:36):
Only people I chieve not to ride is the disrespectful ones.
Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:09:40):
Yeah, and that believe me, I'll drop them off at
the nearest police station.
Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
Thank you so much for the you know, like what
you did?
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
What hold on? Let me give you a rocher. Well, yes,
that was my point. She voted for him for a
different part, like.
Speaker 5 (01:09:59):
Different reasons. And stop expecting everybody to think that the
way you do. So if your child comes and tells you, oh,
I like this other person, you're gonna cut your child off?
Speaker 10 (01:10:06):
You're not.
Speaker 5 (01:10:06):
And if you want to take it a step further,
let's let's take an STI brand, anything that you're wearing.
Are you going to cut all that stuff off because
you find out that the company or the CEO of
that company is doing that. So you're not going to
drive a certain car, You're not going to wear a
certain clothes, You're not going to listen to certain things.
Come on. The whole world is full of mixed bags
of and that's why it's great to be in America right,
(01:10:28):
a dictatorship country. Stop it, go cut the turkey up.
Everybody shut up about politics and let's have a good time.
Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
And you know what, be more mad at why we
have Thanksgiving?
Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
Yeah, came over and decimated.
Speaker 10 (01:10:47):
And Morning show with DJ Foreign and such.
Speaker 18 (01:10:50):
Morning Cousin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety
four or five.
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
Hi, everybody, good morning.
Speaker 4 (01:11:00):
A lot of people have dealt with this in their time,
as in have done contracting our construction work to their home.
I have not, So I'm in the midst of it
right now. We are redoing our master bathroom. It just.
Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
It wasn't the vibe. It was old. It was gross.
I mean, the the fixtures were it.
Speaker 4 (01:11:22):
Just it wasn't good. Like yeah, and we walked through
this house and we're like, this is like the girls
are going to have a better bathroom than us. No,
We're not going to stand for it. So it's been months, months,
months months. They were supposed to start July seventh. Here
we are end of November. They started last week, but
(01:11:43):
they started, you know, and I'm just gonna.
Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
Choose to pick positivity.
Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
Have you paid them in full?
Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
Well, I'm only talking about this because I just got
the bill.
Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
And third, right, you pay like weekly and like little
park Okay, like this part is done little chunks, I
mean not little but chunks. Uh, this is done, So
we're gonna do that. They upfront gave us a number.
This is what it's going to cost in total. Yes,
but then you just kind of paid off whenever they
ask you for money, basically, right, Yes. Can I give
you a word of advice, Number one, don't pay them
until the end of the day, Otherwise, once they get
(01:12:14):
their pockets fat, they're out of there and they can
they can be done.
Speaker 5 (01:12:18):
Early, like oh we left at noon today, Yeah exactly,
So okay, I'll come see you when I see you
show up at six. Give them they check cool. Don't
give them too much of many chunks of money, not
too many thousands at a time. Otherwise they're going for
the weekend and they're not going to see you for
two three days.
Speaker 3 (01:12:32):
But I feel like you get to hire the right
contract because all look the guys that I've had, like
it was deb like just ahead of time we're paying.
Speaker 5 (01:12:38):
And third with this guy was supposed to be there
in January, he's now showing up in December.
Speaker 2 (01:12:43):
Also, white guys don't work on the weekends. What is
that a thing?
Speaker 5 (01:12:48):
I think it depends on the timeline and how quick
they are to their job. But I don't trust you guys.
I'm sorry, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:12:53):
Well, I don't blame you. I have trust issues with trust.
Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
Say to me about the timeline? Would ever like make sense?
Speaker 4 (01:13:00):
They've started. Everybody has showed up when they said they should.
Now the only person who hasn't. The painter was supposed
to come to give us a quote over the weekend,
told me he'd be at the house at a certain time,
and not only did he know show, but I text
him and he just didn't respond to me. Mind you,
we were going to do the painting. The fireman was
(01:13:20):
going to do the painting himself. But I was like,
why don't we just get a painter in here, give
us a quote, see like what it would look like
and if it's something, if it's small money, let's just
do it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
So it's all, you know, we don't have to deal
with that. But the guy no show.
Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
But other than that, like this morning, plumbers were supposed
to be there this morning. Fireman said, they showed up
all time. With our project manager. We're moving like we're
moving in the right direction.
Speaker 5 (01:13:44):
It's just so, what's the timeline now for everything to
be done?
Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
He's saying December twentieth.
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
Which is which is ahead of time, right?
Speaker 2 (01:13:52):
I mean it was supposed to be a four or
six week job. So yeah, about four weeks.
Speaker 5 (01:13:57):
Okay, I it's not FAB. I'll be honest with you.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
Valentine's chocolate, my marriage. My marriage won't survive it. I
can't because we're in the full sized bed while this happens.
Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
Don't trust your guy. He already was He's already slacked
like a month and a half, almost two months to
come start the job when he was supposed to FAB
a lot of that. Think about FAB. Just think about that.
Speaker 4 (01:14:28):
I don't want to think about times because I'm telling you,
like last night it was I don't know midnight. We're
wide awake every time somebody moves because we're down in
the guest room.
Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
It's a full sized bed in there. Like, we won't
survive it.
Speaker 5 (01:14:39):
We plan number one and then these guys are just
I don't know that.
Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
I gotta say, is you're doing you're doing work too,
and you're you're what's your struggle?
Speaker 7 (01:14:47):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
It was supposed to be done by the time I
moved out, which is what the sixteenth still not done.
It's looking like another week. So even my appliances, like
I went to homewn what are you getting done? I'm
getting my kitchen my and in the bedroom and I'm
getting my bathroom done. Oh wow, today, how do you
extend the bedroom? Because it was it was it was
next to another room and the bedroom was too small.
I'm basically removing the wall, eliminating that and just making
(01:15:11):
it one big bedroom.
Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
Wow, that's nice, it's sweet.
Speaker 5 (01:15:13):
Does it look like they're making like headway though? No, no, no,
they're doing a lot of headway. But again it's not
it's not really them that has the problem. It's like
a lot of things that have been ordered have been
delayed now all of a sudden. Okay, for instance, I
bought a fridge and I bought a dish washer, right
supposed to show up on Saturday morning. This past Saturday.
They call me Saturday morning, Samsung does and it's like, oh,
(01:15:33):
we have a delay in our shipment. We won't show
up until Friday. Maybe you're doing a build that stops everything.
They do everything else around it, but they got to
now stop for five days the way for this to
come in so they can hook it up. And it's crazy, bro,
nothing goes as the way it is. I'm luckily for me.
You know, when they were doing the remodeling, we didn't
run into no issues with no mold or stuff like that,
(01:15:54):
which I've heard horror stories about. It's just again that
the sixteenth was supposed to be the date. I don't
think I'm going to be fully fully ready to be
in my crib, or at least my crib completely finished,
till probably next week Friday.
Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
So where have you been living?
Speaker 5 (01:16:06):
I'm bumming couches. I know where to uh oh yeah, what.
Speaker 4 (01:16:12):
We do now?
Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
We did not wow, So you were on the couch.
Speaker 5 (01:16:17):
My bedroom's gonna be supposedly done painting anything done today
so I can least and stop moving into my bedroom.
But yeah, man, I've been I've been bumming a couch
like they did that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
For each other. Because you know, she stayed with you
for a little now you're staying with her. That's nice.
Do you guys do like dinners together?
Speaker 5 (01:16:32):
So we don't. We don't.
Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
You have no meals together?
Speaker 5 (01:16:35):
We have zero meals movie night, no TV night, cuddle nights.
That's wow. That time.
Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
I am waiting for the day. I'm waiting for the day.
This man comes in here and says, you guys know
your friend that's my girlfriend.
Speaker 4 (01:16:50):
Now your friend is my girlfriend on me weaning, I
knew we went on the cruise with her.
Speaker 10 (01:16:57):
Morning show with DJ Feign.
Speaker 18 (01:16:59):
It's so TV Morning Bustin's number one for hip hop
dam in ninety four or five.
Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
Hi everybody, and goodbye everybody. We're getting up out of here.
And if we're doing this and we're playing this game.
Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
Tomorrow, yeah, Thursday, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:17:17):
Wednesday is the biggest party night of the year.
Speaker 4 (01:17:21):
And I'm giving us all ibs so that way we're ready.
Shout out to Audrey Rose and Agels Waitlist. They're gonna
come in the morning and give us I peace because
you know what, vitamins before poison. Always always should we
do the pretend and like or should you just tell
the truth.
Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
Let's tell the truth.
Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
Forn is not gonna be here tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (01:17:40):
On Wednesday, and that's fine, what are you will they
want us to, But I like when I say good
morning and they don't hear your voice, they're gonna know.
Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
I'm out for the rest of the week. I'm just
gonna be working at the crib, trying to move things
in slowly and surely you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 19 (01:17:57):
Will.
Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
I don't want will you listen because I don't like
when you listen, because then we can't talk people.
Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
I know doing that.
Speaker 5 (01:18:07):
They're saying, you've got pennies on your counters.
Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
That's right, we described what we think then looks like, Oh.
Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
That was so fully like change in lind.
Speaker 4 (01:18:21):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and just a chastick, just a random
and the brand where it's black with a white cap.
You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:18:31):
God, all you guys, So he gets a lot of pennies.
Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
Oh my god? All right?
Speaker 4 (01:18:39):
Yeah, so you you definitely have some hell stuff to
take care of. You'll be out the next two days.
Jewels is going to come back and join us tomorrow.
He won't be able to do Wednesday, but Jewels will
be in tomorrow and he'll be really mad that he
has to set this alarm.
Speaker 3 (01:18:50):
We know that, Oh yeah, because he likes to sleep
all day.
Speaker 4 (01:18:53):
