jam in ninety four or five.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hire Everybody, Good Morning. It dashing in the gym in Morning.
So I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. It is
like we are in full on Christmas mode right now.
Christmas is just happening. It's everywhere. The trees are up
the holiday season. There is an event every day in
Marshfield for Christmas.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Question for y'all, since y'all got the big cribs, do
y'all do the seriously, do y'all do the lighting on
the houses?

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Yeah? Not too much? Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I just learned this because my neighbor across the street
hired a company to come out and put up the lights,
and apparently once the season is done, they gonna come
back out and take down the lights. I didn't even
know this was a business.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Foreign.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
There's even companies that put the lights on that stay
on all year round, and there's like a remote and
you can change it and have them be like orange
for Halloween.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
And what did you do?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Paid monthly for this?

Speaker 4 (01:01):
No, it's a service. You trust me. I actually looked
into this because our house is so big. What they
that sounded crazy? That's crazy like that, but big in
a sense of.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So big, so big.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Not but it's a.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Big in circumference of like, I'm not we can't get
up there and put the lights on them.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
We're not doing it, That's what I mean, not by ourselves.
So what they do is.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
They come out and they quote you, they measure, They're like, okay,
it's this, Like, they come out, they give you the quote.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
What are we talking like?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Are we talking like seven ninety nine a month?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Like I think we're talking at least a grand to do?
What to put the lights up? Not that bad, but
by the way, the one I'm talking about, they stay
up all year and you can change the dollars out
by the lights. You buy the lights, and you pay
for install and all that. Like I think, but they
bring the lights on.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
A thousand dollars just to buy the lights and to
get to installed and done with that.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I'm throwing that number out there because I saw somebody
on Facebook say that they came and quoted them.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
I think fifteen because of their.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Not crazy, especially if they can make it look like
really nice yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
I mean some of these homes, like, it's crazy what.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
They doing that. I was like, I did not know
this was a service. Like they had the whole trailer.
They were doing it around the bushes. I'm like, Yo,
this is a thing.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Honestly, if it was affordable, I would do it. Because
I'm not I'm not getting up there. You're not risking
my life. I'm not getting on that roof. The fireman
was up there the other day. I was like, what
are you doing? Get the leaves are not that serious?
But I listen the houses that are all lit up
for Christmas looks so good like yours.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I can we not podcast on?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Don't disrespect that?

Speaker 6 (02:41):
So the.

Speaker 7 (02:44):
Black yeah, not even I meant like it's two there's
there's angel isn't draking angela?

Speaker 8 (02:58):
Good morning?

Speaker 6 (02:58):
Good morning?

Speaker 9 (02:59):
How we're doing?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Lets talk about this football team, shall we?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
All right?

Speaker 9 (03:04):
So I just I gotta say it first, right. A
couple of weeks ago, my son played for seven U.
They won their championship for their league for the Division two.
Now we're gonna speed forward again till this Saturday. The
eleven U drake it Pop Warner for the first time
in history. Mark Rosetti's team, They're going to Florida.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
We're going in the cushion in the States.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
They are animals.

Speaker 9 (03:36):
They are going to Florida, babies. It's amazing. Drake and
Papa Wanna got four teams going to national three tier
teams and one football team. These people are let me
tell you, they dedicate themselves. These people are amazing. Marino
who is the Drake It Pop Warner president. That man
is a walking legend. That man a plus. You couldn't

(03:57):
get a better person leading the leading the league. And
Mark Rosetti's team of eleven U just absolutely phenomenal destroyed them.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I mean, Drake it literally football couldn't have got a
better representation.

Speaker 8 (04:12):
Whatever.

Speaker 9 (04:12):
You guys don't understand how intense these football games are.
And unfortunately I wasn't able to go, but there was
a live feed of it going and I was able
to watch that, and it was I don't have fingernails
right now, like they're gone.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
When you head to Florida Friday.

Speaker 9 (04:29):
So they had so they had to Florida, I think
either this week or next week. But they're still waiting
on their team to to face.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Will you be going?

Speaker 9 (04:41):
So so it's not my son's team. My son's team
was all done. They won their seven U for their
for their division. So we're division champions for my son's seven.
You team who beating? Who beat Brookline, Jamaica Plane and
they are just crazy good and we beat them twice
and it was that was crazy. I mean we were screaming.

(05:03):
I mean these parents at the game. You don't understand.

Speaker 10 (05:07):
No, I do.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
I get it now because of you. Thank you for that.
Well listen, shout out to Drake it then just doing
the damn thing.

Speaker 9 (05:14):

Speaker 1 (05:25):

go to, No.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
It certainly is not.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
We're talking about you, your life, your world, anything you want.
This one's for you, guys.

Speaker 4 (05:42):

There she is, Katie. What do you want to check

Speaker 4 (05:55):
I'm Katie. What do you want to check in about
Babe rein it in.

Speaker 8 (06:01):
I just wanted to shout out that I appreciate you
guys at the little last Thanksgiving, but I really appreciate
you guys and your morning show and you just make
us happy every day because I was struggling. I'm in
the hospital three times this month with gastroparesis, which is
like a stomach issue with corching pain and real like today,
before my birthday, I was fluid. Yeah, the whole wrap.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Man, what does that? I don't even want to know. No, well, Katie,
and it's okay.

Speaker 8 (06:32):
Yeah, couldn't you a drink or anything like much? Tough cookie?
Yeah you are, yeah, it is you are.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Well listen, thank you for that, and we're thankful for
you and thankful that you've been listening and you've always
remained true to listening to our show.

Speaker 8 (06:48):
And as a president coming a belated birthday president for
foreign and as a president slash baby present for you
and a birthday president's coming in the mail?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Oh wow, is it coming here to the studio. You
don't have our addresses?

Speaker 6 (07:03):
Right?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Yeah? Alright, well we'll be looking forward to.

Speaker 8 (07:07):
It, all righty.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
I just wonder what.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Was going to be Jasmine is in Boston, eye Jasmine Hello.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
I didn't even hear the full conversation. I just got
in the car and I heard the guy from Drake It.
My son played for the j for the brook Brond Patriots.
We were undefeated until we played Draken, the worst team
on the roster, and they just happened to beat us.
They paid their rest. They were throwing flags like we
were in the NFL, like we we were supposed to win.
They paid them off. Like I don't even know what

(07:47):
the conversation was, but they know they didn't have no
athletes on that team. We loved the little kids, but
they didn't have no athletes on that team. We were
supposed to be going to Florida.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Honestly, next time, I would probably say score more touchdowns
than them.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
We we if they could stop throwing flags, Like when
the NFL get throwing flags. We had like twenty flags
that day. How these are seven new kids, these are children,
We're not in the NFL, damn l.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
For seven year olds is crazy, exactly, It's ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
It's ridiculous, and talking so much tracks like they were
like their kids were even doing much. They weren't. But well,
I don't even know what the conversations about, but.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
He was just going to say that multiple teams from Drake.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
It made it to to to Florida to continue on.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
I think we might have had some of it on video. Honestly,
you could see who the better players was.

Speaker 7 (08:37):
But at the end of the day, No, I'm definitely listen,
I'm one.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
At the end of the day, if you beat the team,
you beat the team. But to say that the rest
are taking money like that's a that's kind of right.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Yeah, the raft were horrible. Even the people couldn't even
when we went out there, they called every name out
in their jersey number every time we played. They did
not do that for us, but they called Drake It's
numbers out and everything else too.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (09:03):
But yeah, I'm one of those tears that he was
talking about. Yeah, because I'm going to ride for my boys, I.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Was gonna say. I mean, listen, one thing I can
respect about this conversation. It's very clear that you love
your kid. I don't know if I believe the rest
are getting paid, but.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
I do know the boy.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
No, I can tell and I listen, I'm glad they
have you on their side, Jazz and.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Thanks for the call. You know, it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Because you see these videos of these parents like fist
fighting at the games, like this is this yeah, and
she I'm not I'm not messing with Jazzmine.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
I understand she's upset, but you can't blame the rest.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Not for seven year olds.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Next year you do it, you can do it again.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah, Abigail the stale Holtz. We're going to play a
song and we're going to come back to you. Six
one seven nine three one one nine four five six
one seven nine three one one nine four five. We're
talking about anything you wants to check in. Good morning,
Hi everybody, Good morning, It's Ashley and the gm in
Morning show. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving?

Speaker 4 (09:59):
What's up? How are you? What's going on?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
How is the holiday? What did we miss? Was there drama?
We're talking about anything you want. Six one seven, nine
three one one nine four five that a six one
seven nine three one one nine four five.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Hit me up. Abigail is in Brookline. Hi, Abigail, good morning.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Please tell me you're not calling and talk about football. No, okay,
thank god, I'll be out there.

Speaker 6 (10:24):
So I feel like I've been in us in the.

Speaker 10 (10:26):
City for quite a while. I I'm from from my
New Jersey, but like the Philly side, so I never
noticed that I said some words a little different. So
I told my boyfriend, oh, you want to come up
with me for Thanksgiving? And when I was over there,
everybody says, woater, Can I get a water?

Speaker 11 (10:43):
Please?

Speaker 10 (10:43):
Can I get a water?

Speaker 5 (10:44):
And all the whole weekend he would just water water.
Every time I said water, it would just like he
would clown me. And I was like, this must feel
how Ashley feels. And she hasn't a friend of fantin.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Foreign Yeah, I mean not just at two of them,
it's just anytime in general.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
I listen.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
When I go back to Jersey because that's where I
grew up, my Jersey accent comes back full force. But
I like, right now you wouldn't be able to tell.
But there are certain words that I just never.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Can let die. Cherry being one, and water, water.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Sarap, syrup, syrup, syrup.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
I also say crowns instead of crayon. Don't get us
going on, don't get us going on that? What part?
Where are you we're in jerks?

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Oh there's another word now you buro you say that
different what bureau bureau?

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Yeah, like the FBI, know, like like the chest to
geors say it bureau min.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
It's the same that I thought, Syrup is that Sarah
sounds like can I get the.

Speaker 11 (12:08):
Man?

Speaker 4 (12:08):
I want to make a stuttering joke.

Speaker 11 (12:10):
So I would say Sarah, which one, Hi, everybody, good morning,
Sashly in the gym in the morning show this we
don't have this happen often.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Jennifer is checking in from Boston. Hi, Jennifer, good morning.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Babe, good morning.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
How are you guys good?

Speaker 4 (12:34):
This is exciting. So you were just recently in Rolling
Stone magazine.

Speaker 12 (12:38):
Yeah, something crazy happened with the game. We were in
touch for like a couple of years, back and forth.
He had heard my music.

Speaker 9 (12:46):
I guess he liked it.

Speaker 12 (12:47):
And this was before he was doing like, you know,
intros or like features for people. I had asked them
if you know, he would be interested, and I was
kind of taking my time with it. I still needed
to get the money to other or whatever. But next thing,
you know, he started doing like a bunch of people.
I thought it was a little bit off, but I
still went through it that anyway eventually, and it didn't

(13:11):
go exactly how I wanted it to go. But I
still got an intro and like a video of him,
you know, rocking to the song that I already had done.
But then the Rolling Stone reached out to me and
they asked me if I wanted to, you know, be
in their article because eventually they kind of saw that
there was like a game that was being played with

(13:33):
big artists kind of taking advantage of small artists. So
let's say, let's.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Backtrack for people, so the game. You know, everyone knows
who game is. He reached out to you and said,
I'll do an intro for your song for a specific price.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
How much does the game charge for something like that?

Speaker 12 (13:53):
He wanted to do a feature, Well, we had agreed
on a feature. He sent five K, five dollars.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
For a feature from the game. Okay, so then.

Speaker 12 (14:01):
Really fifty K. But then I had a greet on
ten day. I came up with five K to be exact.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
His original number was fifty fifty.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Wow, so he said fifty thousand dollars and fifty thousand
dollars I'll hop on your song. You said ten thousand,
but then you got him at a clearance rate of
five thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
He was on the clearance shelf.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
So then Rolling Stone reaches out to you and they're like,
this is something that some artists are doing. They're taking
advantage of up and comers and offer and saying, hey,
i'll hop on your song to get you views, but
you have to pay a pretty penny exactly.

Speaker 12 (14:40):
Yeah, And then a lot of times they don't really
give you exactly what they're saying they're gonna give you,
Like I didn't sign anything. We didn't sign anything, but
it wasn't a feature. It was just an intro, which
is probably good enough, but I mean, I don't know,
I don't know what to think of the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
But you did end up paying him five thousand dollars.
How did he accept the form of payment? How did
you send the money?

Speaker 12 (15:01):
Cash up?

Speaker 6 (15:02):
We tried like a few different ways, and crash up
was the.

Speaker 8 (15:05):
Way it was.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
One I was about to ask.

Speaker 6 (15:08):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 12 (15:09):
Him and this guy that he works with, Big Trill.
I was talking talking to them both on the phone.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
That is, So you got a video.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
You got a video of him doing whatever he was
supposed to do for you, like an actual video.

Speaker 12 (15:21):
Yeah, rocking out to my rocking out to my freestyle
that I have in the morning. It's over Drake's verse,
I mean, excuse me beat, but yeah, and then he
also did an intro to it. But the thing is
that beat is in the morning beat. I don't know
if you guys know the song in the morning, So, like,
I can't use that. I need to use another b

(15:42):
if I ever want to use the intro. But after
this whole thing happened, like I was so upset with him,
like I trashed it. I told him I'm not going
to use it.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Wow, so you started five thousand dollars and you're not
even going to use it.

Speaker 12 (15:54):
I don't know. Somebody's got a good idea. They said
I could just remix the damn thing and just use
his voice in the intro.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
You got the stamps, you got the acapella do it.

Speaker 12 (16:03):
Yeah, I'm thinking about it.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Where do we find your music? Let's let's talk about
that right now.

Speaker 12 (16:08):
I need to like come up with new beats for
my songs, which is why it hasn't been like selling,
because I've been using like YouTube beats. I'm so new,
you know, but you can find me on YouTube. Done bunny,
what is it? You can find me on YouTube. It's
just Jen Bunny j E M and then B and
and why Jen Bunny?

Speaker 4 (16:30):
Okay, and and you're up becoming rapper from Boston.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
Yeap.

Speaker 12 (16:35):
My newest songs are so pretty and the other one
is bitch Move. But yeah, do you wanna?

Speaker 4 (16:45):
Do you wanna? While we're here, spit a little something
for us.

Speaker 12 (16:48):
Well, it's a lot of swearing. I know you guys
don't allow that.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
We don't.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
You can't do a yeah, just a little, just a little.

Speaker 12 (16:57):
I could say B instead of the I C C
H can say.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
You can say go ahead, go ahead, I'll.

Speaker 12 (17:03):
Do a little bit of a chorus one.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
So that's a curse us. All right, John, We're gonna
let her go, okay.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Said that's the thing that that that artists do.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
I don't know if.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
They're aware, though, I just feel like it's a scam.
Like if all of a sudden, you know what I'm saying,
like and know this to to any artists, But if
you've got a couple of hundred followers and all of
a sudden, one of the biggest artists in the world
is hitting you up and being like, hey, yo, I
like your work.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Let's do a feature.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
It's a sky I just think you do.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
You have to do your due diligence and you have
to do your research because it sounds off.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
But but I agree with you. I have heard of
artists doing it.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Happens all the time.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
It's like, is the game hurting for cash that much
that he's going to take fifty thousand dollars from someone
who clearly doesn't have it.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Might not even be the game might be his man's
the one that she was talking about, Hey can I
do this? And game is like, yeah, go do thing
if you can't make up because remember he went from
fifty k to five thousand, right, there's a red flag, right, like.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
You wanted fifty but you're gonna settle for a five?

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Like as the game already, I'm scratching my head that
money went to his partner. His partner is cooling, and
then you paid the money all up front, like relax, Like.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
We'll have to look into the Rolling Stone article about it.
But yeah, I just think in general, we talk we've
talked about scams all the time.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
You have to be careful.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
But if I'm paying the five, I'm using it, okay,
Like why not yeah, you.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Also struggle for you to even want because she said
that they settle that ten and it was a struggle
to come up with ten.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
I don't know if you got kids or anything, but
five thousand dollars is not to no small change nowadays.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Also just in general, you know, if you do make
it as a as an artist and you want your
music to be played on.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
The radio, we have to be able to have a
radio edit. Yeah, we have to have a radio edit
where we don't curse. But you can find her at
Gen Bunny, right, Jen.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Bunny It there's a bunch of underscores. Jenny Bunny underscore
Latin Barbie.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Off, there you go, Jenny Bunny underscore Latin Latin Barbie,
Latin Barbie.

Speaker 12 (19:05):
There you had.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
That's we might have to work on our handle too, geez.
