Dashy and the jam In Morning Show with DJ four
and it's such morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Bustin's number one for hip hop. Hey, I'm in ninety
four five.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Hi everybody, good morning, Happy Tuesday. We're doing the check
in right now. We're checking in on you. What's going
on in your world? The part of the show where
you can call me and tell me anything whatever you want.
Six one seven nine three one four five six one
seven nine three one one four five. Keith is going
to kick it off in Plymouth.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Hi, Keith, Hi, how are you?

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Good morning?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Good babe? I mean, I've seen better days. I could
have sea rats in my house. I don't know, But
what's up with you?

Speaker 5 (00:41):
I just, uh, I just realized that around this time
of year, a lot of people get stressed out, get depressed,
get overwhelmed. And I think we take for granted our
friends and our family and our loved ones in our
in our lives.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
And today I just want to shout out.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
My family, my wife, Kendra, my daughter and Madeline and
all my loved ones in my life and say thank you.
And I'm hoping that everybody can overlook all the stress
and part of my language.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
But the bull crap in the world.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Yeah, and really really get back to loving people the
way we're supposed to.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I love this message, Keith, because we were talking last
week about how there were really some people out here
not inviting family and friends to the Thanksgiving table depending
upon who they voted for. And I just my thought
process is, you are nothing without your family and friends.
I am nothing without my family and my friends supporting
me and being there for me.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So the fact that.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Anybody would cut anyone off for something like that is
just it's mind blowing to me. And I agree with you,
we as just as a whole as humanity, need to
get back to just loving on each other right exactly.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
I mean, you know, I'm out here all day and
you see a couple of you know, true genuine acts
of kind and love, but then you just see so
much negativity, so much toxicity, and I think we're getting
away from the fact that, you know, we're all different.
We're all entitled to our opinions, our beliefs, our thoughts,

(02:13):
our faith, and we should not judge people on that
and just love people for who they are.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I mean, if you're if you're a jerky, straight out, yeah,
then you're a jerk.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
But I think that we we we have a tendency
to automatically admit a negative vibe and then because we're
in a bad mood, you know, and then it.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Just it's spread.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
And I think we need to get past that and
get back to love.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Hey, hello, Keith, thank you so much for the call.
I'm with it.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Michael is in Boston. Mike has some major news.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Hi Mike, Hey, are you doing good morning?

Speaker 7 (02:54):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (02:55):
Yeah, so, Uh, we had a great Thanksgiving. I hope
everybody over there had great Thanksgiving. I believe me and
my fiance saw you at Edenville on Friday.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Oh yeah you did. Did we chat?

Speaker 6 (03:09):
No?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
No, we didn't come up to you.

Speaker 8 (03:11):
I know you got your family thing going on, and
you know, we don't like to bother people. She noticed you,
She's like.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Oh, I know that.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Was I drinking.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I don't know you had your baby in your hands.
I don't think.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Probably, Oh yeah, then them confirmed I probably was. Did
you How did you did you like Eatonville? What were
your thoughts?

Speaker 1 (03:35):
It was good?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
It was good, It wasn't It was pretty cold that day.

Speaker 8 (03:38):
It was but honestly, the noise, the trap out of
my two year old, the noise from the train.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
That they had over there.

Speaker 8 (03:49):
But other than that, though it was, it was not
a bad time.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
There's a lot of people. A lot of people had
a good time.

Speaker 8 (03:54):
They had like a showing of Santa Claus over there
and stuff like that. And we also found out that
my now pregnant with our second child.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
My god, let's right, I love it. Congratulations, Thank you
very much.

Speaker 8 (04:10):
I just hope everybody over there, you know, has a
good life, stay up, stay positive. You know, I called
earlier a few years ago actually and told you guys
that I was released from prison, a nine year stay
in prison, and now I'm a local.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Seven iron worker and I flipped my life around.

Speaker 8 (04:27):
So if I could do it, I know a lot
of people out they can't.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Well, Michael, if you listen to this show, you know,
foreign and I we heavily believe in second chances. And
look what you've done with your life. That's amazing. There
is someone else in this show that it doesn't. But let's
not go there positive.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Oh yeah, absolutely all right.

Speaker 8 (04:45):
I hope you guys have a good rest of your
lives and we'll chat soon.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Are you dying? Like where you at? It's like, why
does it have to be the rest of our lives. Like,
can we just talk soon. Let's say, let's just leave
it out, like we'll talk soon. You know, I'll find
with that.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
You got that, all right, Ben.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Thanks for the call.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I eat Aville Friday night at a good time.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
It sounded cold though, That'd be the one thing that
I would hate.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
I had on a jacket and then I was baby wearing,
so I had the baby in the carrier and then
I had a jacket over top and I zipped her
up into it.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
It was cold.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
And then the train thing. The train sounds like a
lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
But I mean, well, here's the thing, sweating on the train.
The train, the heat was pumping. She blew out, so
I had to get her completely naked on the train.
It just was a lot. And so they you know,
they got they have booze there though. So oh so
that's that's how Big Mama powered threw all right. Six
one seven nine five That is six one seven nine

(05:45):
three one one nine four five.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Call me. We are talking about anything you want. You
your life, your world is the check in only on
jam and eighty four or five.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Morning guys, everybody, good morning. It's Ashley and the jam
In Morning Show. We're checking in right now.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
How are you?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
What's going on? And Grace is in Fall River? Hi, Grace,
good morning.

Speaker 9 (06:04):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Listen, We're good ish.

Speaker 9 (06:11):
Hey, it's Tuesday. It's a crazy morning. I was calling
because I just wanted to let everyone know about free
community college in the state of Massachusetts. Talk to us.
SASPA is open for the next semester and even for
next fall where I finishing up finals this next two weeks. Crazy,

(06:36):
but the thing is it's free.

Speaker 7 (06:38):
I'm in the.

Speaker 9 (06:38):
Substance abuse program, so I'm going to come out of
school as a substance abuse counselor. And I graduated in
twenty ten. Never went to college. I was in full
blown addiction. So here I am almost seven years sober.
I got two kids, a husband, and I am able
to go to school for free. Covered all my books,

(07:00):
my laptop, everything, you name it, it covered it. And
at the candid this, I'm going to be able to
give back. There's so many programs out there, like for
those moms that you know they need to take classes
at night, but they want to you know, do better
for their children, like it is out there, like take

(07:21):
advantage of it, Like, we're a generation that is dying.
We need to save our people.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Okay, well, there we have it.

Speaker 10 (07:32):
Go to college because everyone's dying, and Michael from wherever
he calls from will never speak to us again.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
And it's just the best something going on today. And
I'm unaware technically we're dying.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
But man, that's like a negative turn on society.

Speaker 10 (07:46):
Let's just say, go to college, educate yourself, and you
can do it for free.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
We don't necessarily need to throw in that everyone's dying,
but I get it.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I guide listen, I well.

Speaker 9 (07:54):
We are a generation that is dying. You look at
all these celebrities that are dying from overdose. Is like
it is a serious issue in society today.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Don't do drugs. I'm with that.

Speaker 9 (08:06):
Yeah, don't do drugs. Don't you drugs that'll ruin your life.
You don't want to bury your best friend.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
I agree.

Speaker 11 (08:13):
You know what's crazy is that today is National Let's
Hug Day.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
I want to be held between the sea, rats and death.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Like we're not all right, Grace, thank you so much
for hipping everybody to.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Dead people to free education. Well that's what it was
supposed to be.

Speaker 10 (08:34):
Like we were there for the free education, but it
took a turn.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Like society.

Speaker 10 (08:39):
The apocalypse is celebrities overnoses like the other dude saying,
you know, have a nice life, Like what am I?

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Is it the sea rats?

Speaker 1 (08:48):
It has to be this time of the year and
people are getting sent like they're in their feelings. You
know what.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
I assume it is. I mean, listen, Klaus is on
the way, like Christmas is here. People get weird and
it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
But I think we can be more positive.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I think so too. What do you want to do here?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Number phones?

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Uh six one seven nine three one six one seven
nine three one one nine four five calls. We're talking
about dying or really whatever else you want. Hi, everybody,
good morning. It's Ashley and the Gym in morning show.
We love to check in. I get to see what's
going on with your life. Taylor is in New Hampshire.
Taylor wants to turn the day around for us. We've

(09:25):
got a lot of death. We got people saying to us, Okay,
have a great life, and I don't like that.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Where are we going?

Speaker 7 (09:35):
What's what's up? Ashley and everybody? He hie, So yeah,
you guys. Everybody was talking about death, and I wanted
to give you guys something funny to laugh at this morning,
because that was brutal.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
I think, So I think we need it. Let's go,
all right.

Speaker 7 (09:50):
So I'm twenty eight and I still with my parents.
I'm a teacher, a high school teacher, and so buck
three years ago, I went and I got a cat
because I really wanted one. And when I called my
mom to let don't know I was picking up a cat,
he said, if you miss Rent, we're gonna let your
cat out. So I made sure not to miss rent.
And they said, never do this again, and I said okay,

(10:11):
and Betty year passed by, and I thought my cat
was lonely and I thought he needed a friend. So
we just we went to the pets, not the pet store,
but the adoption center in New Hampshire to go see
if there were any cats that needed a home. And
we weren't intending on coming home with a cat named
Stroop Waffle, but we did. And Waffle it's it's we

(10:38):
call him Waffles for short, but his government name is
Stroop Waffle. And yeah, it's like it's like a Dutch cookie.
It's like two waffles with caramel in the middle, and
it really sums up how sweet he is. So I
knew I was going to get in really big trouble
for bringing home a cat again. And so for the
first week before Christmas, I hid the cat in my

(11:01):
spare bedroom and for days my dad just heard him
me owing and it was really confused, but didn't say anything.
And then all of a sudden, my niece and nephew,
because I live in a full house, my eleven year
old niece and nine year old nephew come up the
stairs and they're talking to me, and then they look
down and on the stairs is the cat. He had
snuck out and they lost it.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Oh yeah, And I.

Speaker 7 (11:24):
Told them, I told them, if you tell anybody, I'm
taking your presents away for Christmas.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
There's levels to this tale.

Speaker 10 (11:32):
I'm just dead what You're a whole twenty eight year
old with a full time job sneaking around your parents
home with a cat named stop yeah.

Speaker 7 (11:41):
Yeah, yeah, names Strep Woffle and he's just stupid and wonderful.
And so a couple of days past by, I think
we made it about seven days and Woffle was out
of the spare bedroom and he was on my lap,
and my mom came down and she thought Millie, the
original cat, was the one walking in the tunnel, and

(12:02):
so she called him and then lo and behold, it
was not a big, fluffy black cat. It was a small,
little orange kitten that walked out of the tunnel. And
she screamed at the top of her lung. She never swears,
and she swore up and down at me, saying, that's
not my effing Millie. What is this cat?

Speaker 4 (12:20):
What is this?

Speaker 7 (12:21):
And she was very very very unhappy with me. But
then the cat crawled into her lap and started to
purr and cuddled right up on her and now they're.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Best friend, a happy ending. Are you still so? Are
we still at home with the two cats?

Speaker 7 (12:35):
We're still at home with the two cats until I
get a raise in New Hampshire pays his teachers better.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Well.

Speaker 6 (12:43):
Unfortunately, Hey, you know, all I wanted to say was,
you know, adopt some cats, adopt some animals, give them
a home, and you'll have really funny stories to tell
for the rest of your life.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Taylor gives stroop Waffle a little pet for us, if
you don't mind, we.

Speaker 7 (12:58):
Will and thank you guys for all you do. I
listen to you guys every morning and you make me laugh.
And Ashley, it's just it's really nice to hear your
stories about your kids and just how great of a
mom you are to just pick it up.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Jeez, Taylor, thank you so much. I appreciate that and
I will talk to you soon. Not like in a
different life. Okay, thanks, thanks, you know, have a good life.
You have a good life. Comebye. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Clearly she doesn't know that you shop and don't adopt
when it comes to pets.

Speaker 11 (13:24):
She actually buys the petsican and wear it's on how body.
They call it Prada
